Plentiful options and lovely staff

The staff and Bijou were always friendly and took their time helping me decide on a dress. My dress and accessories arrived on time and were professionally tailored by their on site seamstress, Jess. The staff explained my options and helped me find the perfect dress. My wedding was 8 months away from the time I came in panicking about a dress, but the staff helped ease my nerves and make the right decision for me. We celebrated with a mini bottle of wine which made the experience all the more fun since I went shopping alone.

Perfection

I fell in love with my dress the first time I tried it on. The staff was wonderful to work with everytime I visited. No dress ever compared to the one I chose from their line. I ended up loving all of their own lines dresses the most.

The best dress experience

From the moment I walked into Bijou for the first time until the day I picked up my dress, the experience was unmatchable. The girls are so kind and accommodating. I was able to search through the dresses and figure out what I wanted to try on without any pressure. I felt so special when I chose my dress.

My seamstress, Deborah, was incredible and so, so talented. I made some customizations to my dress and she truly made my dream dress come to life. It fit like a glove. Thank you bijou for the greatest, most special experience!

Incredible customer service

What an awesome experience! From my initial appointment, to my fittings, to my bustle education, everything at Bijou was flawless. Neena and Jenna worked together to help me find a perfect dress for my beach wedding. They were kind and accommodating while not making me feel pressured in any way. My seamstress, Jessica, was fantastic!! My dress was simply aww-inspiring. I absolutely loved it and cannot say enough good things about the Bijou experience!

Amazing place - 10/10

There are so many different style, colors and designers to choose from. I don't know how anyone could leave here with out a dress! The staff are very nice and helpful. The seamstresses are very helpful and kind.

Would Highly Recommend

Bijou Bridal was the 3rd place I went to try on dresses. The woman helping me was very nice. I told her my budget and she did not show me a single dress outside of that. After purchasing my dress, I did my alterations with them & was also very happy with how those turned out.

Dress shopping at Bijou Bridal was an amazing experience!

I would recommend Bijou bridal in Ardmore to anyone looking to purchase a wedding dress. It was recommended to me by a friend and I can see why. They have a gorgeous collection of dresses. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, attenuative, and helpful. The sales associate who assisted us was not pushy at all when we told her our budget. She stayed within the budget and made me feel comfortable telling her what I did or did not like about a particular dress. Feeling comfortable is the most important thing when dress shopping and Bijou did not fall short of that.

Great staff and selections!

I purchased my wedding dress here. I had the pleasure working with Neena who was absolutely fantastic. She was SO helpful and accommodating and SO nice. She made the process so easy for me. Had a great selections of dresses to choose from. I did altercations there as well and they were perfect!!!!

The best of the best

Bijou Bridal and its staff are gems! My journey to finding "the dress" was made better because of the consultants attention to detail and my vision. The selection of dresses was thorough, but not overwhelming, which I appreciated. I was lucky enough to work with designer, Jessica Le, to add some custom elements to my dress and I cannot say enough good things about her work AND her personality. At each fitting, Jess and the staff were the best hype girls. I love being a part of the Bijou family!

Perfect Dress!

My experience with Bijou was amazing right from the very first shopping experience down to my last dress fitting. The consultant listened to exactly what I wanted and I found my dress within three dresses she had pulled. Their seamstress, Deborah is phenomenal. She does the most perfect work and is so attentive. She made my dress fit like a glove after losing 15 pounds.

Bridesmaids dress shopping experience

I recently returned to Bijou Bridal in Ardmore to look for my bridesmaids dresses after a wonderful experience of saying yes to my wedding dress about a month and a half earlier. I brought my 2 bridesmaids, as well as my mother and the mother of the groom. To no surprise, Bijou impressed yet again! Jenna was our consultant again and made my girls feel so comfortable! She made sure that each bridesmaid tried on dresses that they liked while looking on the rack and was very attentive. Jenna even pulled my wedding dress and accessories so that I could try it on while next to the girls to ensure that my vision for the wedding attire was perfect. In the end, we all agreed on the dress and color, and everyone was very happy with the choice! I am glad that I returned to Bijou and I look forward to working with their great team of consultants/stylists throughout my wedding planning process!

Great Experience

I came here alone for my first dress experience and loved it. Although I was alone, my consultant Alaya made me feel completely comfortable. It felt like I was shopping with one of my friends, she was great! She listened to my vision and pulled dresses accordingly. She watched my body language and reactions carefully as I tried on each choice and knew when I wasn’t feeling something before I could even say a thing. Dresses are fairly priced and she kept in the budget I gave. By the time I left, we narrowed down a top three. I scheduled an appointment to come back that weekend with my mom. Mom loved Alaya too! It was a great experience overall. I highly recommend requesting Alaya as your consultant.

easiest part of wedding planning!

I had an amazing experience with everyone at Bijou Bridal in Paramus. They made finding a wedding dress SO easy and they were the only boutique I visited. They have an amazing selection that has tons of variety but isn't overwhelming. They also had high quality and more affordable dresses available through their own line. I loved how they let me and my family browse their showroom and select the gowns that I would try on. Once I found my dress, they were so helpful and accommodating with alterations. They did a great job lining the bodice of my dress (it was originally see through) and helping me find a matching veil. Everyone I worked with was so kind and helpful. They always took their time with me during appointments and explained all the options available to me throughout the process. They truly made the experience so great and I highly recommend them to any future brides!

Best bridal shop

At first I was unsure since they don’t let you take photos of the dresses. However, the girls there are awesome and helped find my dress. I didn’t want strapless or silk but the girl insisted I try it on and it was stunning! The seamstress made it fit perfectly to my body and my bustle held the whole night jumping and dancing in a heavy dress!

Loved my wedding dress shopping experience!

From the moment I called to schedule an appointment with them they were extremely helpful. The consultant who helped me shop for dresses was so patient with my entourage. She helped to make it an enjoyable experience. Pat was who did my alterations and she was amazing!!! She gave me so many useful tips that really helped on our wedding day. If you're in the Philadelphia area I definitely recommend shopping for your wedding dress at Bijou Bridal!

Great selection!

I loved Bijou! I would highly recommend making an appointment to shop for your bridal dress, bridesmaid dress or mother of the bride/groom dress. They had such a great selection and the staff was great every step of the way. I went to a BUNCH of places but every time I tried on a dress, something just seemed to be missing. I had actually gone to Bijou very early in the process - I liked one dress but wasn't in love with it. Since I was having a difficult time finding a dress, I decided I should go back and try that dress on again to see if it was really the best dress. While I was there for the second time, i tried on that dress and a few other that the staff picked for me. I ended up finding a dress that had just come in and it was perfect for me. They have a wide array of dresses at every price point so this place is for everyone. Since I got my dress here, I opted to get my bridesmaid dresses here as well. They off a 10% discount on bridesmaid dresses if you purchase your dress there. I know my bridesmaids appreciated that! Also, I cannot emphasize enough how great their seamstress was. When my dress first came in, I was a little underwhelmed but she made it fit exactly as I had pictured! Do yourself a favor and make an appointment at bijou!

Out of state, but everything was great!

My husband and I were planning our wedding in Pennsylvania while living in Georgia and North Carolina, respectively. I went dress shopping with my family in PA while we were home on a visit, and mentioned my situation of being out-of-state and a full time graduate student to the ladies at Bijou. Not only did they respect my budget and help me find the perfect dress, but my seamstress Jill also came in on weekends to accommodate me so that I could attend fittings around my school schedule. Jill was also very sensitive to all of my concerns regarding fit, and when the wedding day came I didn't have to think about the dress once. I knew it fit well (like a glove!) and had me covered up appropriately; I was able to just let loose and enjoy our day.

Gorgeous dresses

I went to this salon totally thinking it was going to be snobby and fancy, and ended up finding my dream dress! Let me tell you, I was set on NOT spending money on a wedding gown, but the dresses they have are so gorgeous I couldn't resist. My consultant, Neena, was extremely helpful and enthusiastic.
Only downside is they have an in-house designer who doesn't want photos taken. As someone who works with almost exclusively proprietary designs myself, I understood. We were told we could Facetime with people who couldn't be there, and when I found the dress, Neena gave me the designer name so I could look it up on their website and show people that way. The space was also large enough for more than a couple of guests. All in all a great experience! Can't wait to go back and actually BUY the dress with my girls.

My wedding was on 9/08/18 and I purchased my dress from Bijou last October. What can I say... Everyone at Bijou was absolutely wonderful! This was the first store I went to, on my first day of dress shopping and I walked away with my wedding gown! Neena B was my consultant and she was so sweet and helpful! The dress I picked was the last one I "tried" on... it was waaaaaaayyyyy too small, but Neena made it work and she pinned it on me so that i looked like I had it all the way on. That girl is a miracle worker!
Pat was my seamstress and I am beyond thrilled of how she tailored my gown. Not only is she the sweetest person ever, but she made my dress fit like a glove! I couldn't have been happier with my dress! Thank You everyone at Bijou!

A friend of my mother's recommended Bijou Bridal after having a great experience with them for her daughter's wedding and I am so thrilled we decided to check them out! I found an absolutely gorgeous and unique dress and it was under my budget, a huge plus :) And everyone who helped us was so kind and each time we went in they remembered who we were immediately and never failed to ask how I was and how the planning was going. My experience at Bijou was perfect from the very beginning! They were patient and helpful with the challenging process of picking the perfect process and I really appreciated the huge selection at reasonable price points. While the whole process was amazing, I can not say enough about how fantastic Nicolette was to work with. She's a magician--there wasn't anything I asked for that she couldn't find a way to do. She changed my bustle at the last minute, sewed my husband's baby blanket into my dress, and even put tiny invisible plastic snaps for a bustle on the front of my dress so I could wear the sneakers I wanted to wear to dance in and not have to worry about tripping over my dress. She was an absolute to work with and I'm so grateful to have had her help!

The team at Bijou was fantastic! They offer a large variety of dress at great prices. The store is by appointment only, however they did manage to squeeze us in at the last moment. I would recommend making an appointment earlier in the day as they do have a large selection to go through and dresses to try on.

Pam was amazing during alterations and such a sweet heart! It was a pleasure to go and see her every few weeks during the fittings.

I went to Bijou on June 17 only to "look" at wedding dresses. It's very difficult to find a dress I like without seeing it and saying, "I wish it had this or that". My mom, my cousin and a good friend were with me. They could not have paired me with a better consultant on that day... Jen was FANTABULOUS!!!!!!! I was extremely nervous (having gone through the process years ago without a wedding) and anxious. Not only did she make me feel comfortable, but she made the day so much more memorable! And not only did I walk away with THE perfect dress (one that just came into the store three days before), but I tried it on simply because Jen asked me to! And, she put a veil on that tied everything in perfectly. The dress is a Maggie Sottero - Rory. Jen - thank you again for such an awesome experience!!! I appreciate you, your service, and your candor from the bottom of my heart!!!!!! ** I know there are two Jen's at the store and I apologize I don't know her last name. But hopefully by providing you with this information, you will know who she is and give her the accolades she deserves! The fittings went well and the head seamstress, Nicolette, paid close attention to many important details. My dress was very reasonable and I felt beautiful on my wedding day. I just got married this past September and got my wedding dress from Bijou! I only went to Bijou and one other place, but I liked how many dress options/styles they had and how friendly and helpful the staff was. I chose the first dress that I tried on and ABSOLUTELY loved it and how great the seamstress Jill was in getting the dress to fit my body just right. She was also really helpful along the way with suggesting the appropriate shoe for what I was hoping for, etc. Bijou also had a lot of reasonably priced dresses and lots of veil options. Highly recommend this shop!

Bijou was all sorts of right for my big day. They had a million styles, and for those brides that are indecisive, the staff is willing to provide some constructive feedback to help your decision.

What really struck me about Bijou was the affordability of their gowns and veils. In looking for places to get my gown, it felt very much like the other shops were upcharging you just to walk through the door. Not with Bijou. If you buy on the day you shop, you receive a percentage off. More recently, if you buy your dress in store, you receive a discount on your veil. They had a ton of styles and a ton of patience.

Bijou also will store and alter your dress. They made me feel so comfortable about keeping it there and the sweet seamstress I was assigned did a BEAUTIFUL job.

This was my first stop when dress shopping - the staff helped me pick out an amazing dress that was nothing like I thought I'd end up with. I went to 2 more stores but came back the very next day. They dress looked amazing and was half the price of the other stores I went to. Finally the seamstress (Ziba) was SIMPLY PHENOMENAL. My dress fit wonderfully and I loved it even more. So happy I ended up at Bijou.

Many thank yous to the team at Bijou Bridal in our hometown of Ardmore, PA! This was the only place I looked for a dress and it was perfect! They indulged me with trying the dresses I thought I wanted but put me in a dress they knew I'd like. It was great! Everything about my experience at Bijou Bridal was perfect. My wedding dress was purchased here, as well as my bridesmaid’s dresses and Mother of the Bride dress. I bought my dress a year before my wedding, and from the first visit to the last fitting, the staff at Bijou was so wonderful and accommodating, they became like family. My dress was absolutely stunning and fit like a glove. My bridesmaid’s (most from out of town) found the ordering and shipping process to go very smoothly. They were also very impressed with how well the dresses fit since they had many bad experiences with bridesmaid dresses in the past. I would definitely recommend Bijou.

Purchased my wedding dress from Bijou. They have a reasonable selection however some of the samples the have are rather small and I was disappointed that I couldn't quite fit into them (I'm a size 8 jeans by the way so I thought that was odd being a rather common size) but in the end that didn't end up mattering because I tried on my dress and loved it. Overall for me the 5 star rating is due to their seamstress. She was amazing! My dress fit wonderfully and their base price for alterations is very reasonable compared to some other bridal salons in the Philadelphia area.

I loved working with Bijou Bridal and having my dream wedding dress! After going to a few different boutiques, I saw some potential options, but wasn't sure if there were any winners. Then, I decided to make an appointment at Bijou for a trunk show for one of the designers they carried, Ysa Makino. The brand had some lovely dresses in the store, but I saw one online in particular that I really loved, but they didn't carry in most stores. I asked if Bijou Bridal could request that the designer bring that specific gown to the trunk show, and they made sure if was there for me. I tried a few of the styles, and then tried on the dress I had requested. I knew it was the one!!! It was so beautiful and so different than any gown I had ever seen. Once our wedding day was closer, i had multiple fitting to ensure everything fit like a glove. The alterations department is great and they really are perfectionists which is wonderful, because so am I! With the help of Bijou Bridal, I really looked like a princess on my big day.

I live about 45 miles away from Bijou Bridal, but I am so happy I made the trip! I chose a Maggie Sottero dress and if I could, I would wear it over and over again. Found my dress!!! LOVE LOVE my lace dress. Huge selection there. I felt welcome and NIna was very helpful and patient with me. I fell in love with the second dress I tried on but was nervous to commit and they were patient as I tried many others on before coming back to number two! The dress selection was vast and the prices were varied in range. Plenty of dresses at a reasonable rate. I also purchased my veil! The set up was spacious and allowed for my mom and sister and niece to feel comfortable. We were not rushed at all and Nina was not pushy at all. Love my dress. So happy I went to Bijou!

Bijou had a huge selection of bridal dresses, from all different price ranges. After looking at several different shops (with less than stellar customer service), I was so happy to find my dress at Bijou. Their staff was extremely helpful, from the dress consultants on to Pat, my seamstress. My dress came in on time and I was very lucky to work with Pat who gave me all the tips about my dress. Not only did she fit my dress perfectly, but she gave me tips for how to walk, dance, and sit in it. She even showed me how to carry my flowers so I could show off the great parts of my dress. I received such great personal service and would gladly recommend Bijou!

I bought my wedding dress from Bijou after checking out 2 places before. I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted and the staff there did a wonderful job of helping me.
I never had any issues- after purchasing my dress- they called me right after it came in and scheduled my 1st fitting. My seamstress was AMAZING!!! She really made the dress to fit me exact and made me look great on my wedding day.

I found a gown at Bijou that I loved and purchased it. When it came in, it fit very differently than expected because I am quite smaller than the sample size was. At first, I felt a bit uncomfortable speaking about the fit of the dress and my dissatisfaction, but Bijou did an excellent job reading my needs and supporting me until the dress fit in a way that was more comfortable to me. I left the store loving my dress and excited to marry my husband while wearing it. I'm so thankful for their patience and kindness as I walked through this part of my wedding day!

The staff was great in helping my find my wedding dress. The alteration experience was even better. I loved my tailor, she treated me like a princess, and even taught me how to walk in the dress. She was a great mother like presence, which was very important to me since my mom could not be there.

I worked with Katie at Bijou Bridal, and she could not have been lovier. She helped me through every step of the process with ease and knowledge. It was such surreal moment when I found my wedding dress, and Bijou Bridal was definitely the right place for it to happen. Nicolette helped me with my alterations. She listened to my concerns about the dress and talked me through what needed to be done. I never felt concerned or worried that my dress wouldn't end up looking exactly how I imagined it. Bijou Bridal was one of the first 2 salons I went to for my wedding dress. I knew that I wanted a lace gown and Kate was so helpful; she had me try on gorgeous dresses within my price range! She was not pushy at all and made me feel completely comfortable. I actually ended up finding my gown at another salon but since the employees at that salon were so pushy and tried to convince me to purchase the gown that same day (without my mother, who lives 3 hours away), I decided to see if Bijou could acquire this gown from the designer (Justin Alexander). Bijou got the gown on loan from Justin Alexander and when my mother was in town, I tried it on for her. We knew this was the gown for me! The seamstress was so helpful and made the perfect adjustments to my gown, it fit me like a glove. They did not try to convince me to purchase a veil, accessories, etc, here (I already had these items). I would recommend Bijou to anyone looking for great customer service and amazing quality.

After looking at quite possibly 10 dress stores, I found the dress of my dreams at Bijou! There are so many beautiful dresses to select from, the shop is spotless, and the staff is very informative, organized, and welcoming! The all inclusive dress tailoring package is a great value for all that you get. I LOVED working with the adorable seamstress from Italy, Anna Marie! She made me feel like I had picked the most beautiful dress and accessories that were ever created. She was also a boost to my self esteem and body image. She's adorable. The head seamstress was there when we picked up the dress and she was also very helpful. She double checked everything, made a bustle diagram for my MOH, and carried my dress out to the car like a baby leaving the hospital for the first time! Everyone at Bijou is awesome! I bought a Maggie Sottero dress from Bijou Bridal, which was ready and fitted within my three month engagement. My dress shopping experience was rushed because I squeezed in my appointment before work, but it was a success! My fondest memories of my engagement will be my fitting appointments with my mom and Bijou's head seamstress Nickolette. She made the dress fit me perfectly and even created a built up lace neckline to hide unwanted cleavage. The fittings were so much fun and definitely made me glad I bought my dress at Bijou.

This was maybe the 3rd store I visited, and the whole experience made me love this place. It's by appointment only, so you really can take your time and try on anything you like. They have all different price ranges, so it's not intimidating at all. Prices for the most part are pretty reasonable. I found the dress of my dreams here. The staff is great, and the seamstress's are amazing.

I not only found my dream dress at Bijou Bridal but I found the dream dress I didn't know was my dream dress!

Susan at Bijou Bridal noticed my eye continuously glancing at a dress on the main display and basically grabbed it for me on intuition and observation alone. She even had an amazing system with that being the middle dress I tried on. I cried the first time I put a wedding dress on because it's a pretty big moment in a girl's life, but when I put MY Dress it felt like falling in love for the first time. I was obsessed! She was amazing at keeping her distance during Mother/Daughter interactions and was not pushy at all! I am very indecisive and she understood that I would need to come back about two more times.

When I came back with my best friend and future in-laws she really knew how to read them and me. She was great at keeping me calm as this is a totally different situation than My Mom and me. Once the decision was made she made it fun. Letting me wear the dress for probably 20 minutes and just relish in the idea that "THIS. IS. MY. DRESS."

Susan was amazing and having two other friends purchase dresses form Bijou I know that this is simply how they all are, but I will recommend Susan if you can snag her.

Once the initial purchase was made it was still amazing until the end. Pat, the seamstress made all my fittings (which can be quite stressful) so much fun and relaxed. I apologize for not knowing the Front Desk associate but she was AMAZING. My one bridesmaid bought a dress from there and she made sure a defect in the dress was fixed ASAP and when I showed up after the wedding to have my dress Preserved it was like she was an old friend.

Bijou Bridal has beautiful dresses for EVERY bride and they're priced fair. I've recommended Bijou to friends and will continue to do so from here on out!

I absolutely loved my experience at Bijou. It was the first store I went to when I started dress shopping, and they had a great selection of dresses in fairly large price range. Although I checked out two other places, I wound up coming back the next day to purchase my clear favorite, a gorgeous Martina Liana silk dupioni dress. The saleswomen were pretty helpful, but what really made the experience stand out was my seamstress, Nicolette. She was outstanding - so knowledgeable, easygoing, and fun to work with. She knew exactly what to do with my dress to make it fit PERFECTLY (including taking out a horizontal panel of fabric, which is something I've never even heard of). The only minor issue I had with Bijou was that the order for my veil wasn't placed when it initially was supposed to be, which we realized about 3-4 months before the wedding, but they ordered it right away when the mistake was noted and it came in with plenty of time to spare. Basically, I love love loved my dress (so sad I won't get to wear it again) and loved working with Nicolette (also sad I won't get to work with her again!). I highly recommend Bijou!

I was delightfully surprised with Bijou! After going to several bridal stores I was a little nervous to check out Bijou because I figured their prices would be a bit on the high end due to the location and how lavish the store looks but they had a great array of styles and prices and I found my perfect dress! I also got my bridesmaids dresses here which were beautiful. (However photographed a very different color than what they actually were...not sure if it was the fabric, camera or what). I was really happy with my experience at Bijou Bridal. One of the things I was most impressed about was that no one was fazed about the fact that I'm in a same-sex relationship. Both my wife and I went to Bijou with the thought that they could make sure we weren't picking the same dress or dresses that clashed. We both worked with Katie and she was great! When we finally had our first look, we couldn't get over how beautiful our dresses looked together!

Katie did a good job understanding my taste but suggesting dresses a little outside my comfort zone to help me get a good idea of options. When I found the one, it turned out that my dress needed to be ordered and it would be really tight timing for the wedding. Katie worked with the vendor to get the dress rush ordered which was a huge relief.

I had both Anna Marie and Nicolette as seamstresses and I was impressed with their work. The dress I picked had no zipper which made it complicated but they figured out how to make it work. They even gave helpful tips like covering my head with tissue paper when I put the dress on so my hair and makeup wouldn't get messed up.

Working with Bijou to find the perfect wedding dress was a dream. One visit and four dresses later, I was in my dress, and it delivered right on time. The seamstress that I worked with, Jill, was wonderful. She listened to my wants and needs and executed the alterations perfectly. I had 4 fittings to get the dress to where I wanted it to be and there was no frustration or aggravation during the process. My dress was finally ready a month before the wedding, and Bijou held it for me so that I could pick it up, perfectly pressed, the day before the wedding. They were absolutely wonderful.

The ladies at Bijou are very helpful and attentive and have a great selection of dresses. I especially want to say how much I loved my seamstress, Esme. I will have to rate again once the alterations process begins but so far, so good with my experience! I am planning a Philadelphia wedding from 1000 miles from Philly and ideally wanted to get my dress in the area. I also ideally wanted to wait to shop for my dress with my mom and best friends. However, after popping into Bijou on a whim without an appointment on my way back from visiting our wedding venue, Susan pointed me to several vintage-inspired lace dresses within my budget. Before I knew it, I was nearly in tears seeing myself in the mirror when I walked out of the dressing room in the strapless, mermaid fir Stefan Jolie dress. This sounds so corny but I knew it was "the one" as soon as I saw it kind of how it went when I met my fiancé several years ago. I walked in a few weeks ago without an appointment and instantly the staff was so energetic and welcoming. They accommodated me immediately. After having such a horrible first bridal experience (to the point of wanting to quit) at other bridal stores, I was so happy to end up at Bijou Bridals. I was able to find my dream dress! My whole bridal party cried and so did I. The day ended in perfection and I walked out on Cloud 9 :') I just can't wait for my first fitting!

Love this business the salespeople are friendly and go beyond the call of duty. I decided to get married in a month! They gave me options from their in house designer that could be here on time that was amazing. The head seamstress Nickolette was an expert in her craft. I really didn't have to point any areas out to her, she just knew by looking at the dress what needed to be done. It was a perfect fit. I really say enough about her except thank you for an amazing job!

I can not begin to express how over joyed I am that I found my dress here. Every time I came in everyone was polite, professional, and just genuinely sweet. They made this stressful task a breeze.

When my mom and I first walked into Bijou Bridal, I was worried that it was going to be way out of my budget, as they had all of these gorgeous dresses up front, which I was sure I could not afford. I met Monica and let her know what I was looking to spend. It was definitely at the lowest end of what they kept in store, but she was able to find some dresses to show me and helped me in and out of every one. I've been to other stores where they just hand you the dress and let you figure it out on your own. She obviously cared and wanted to help. The fourth dress I put on was THE ONE. I had seen it online and once it was on my body, it was perfect! My mom had found a dress for me to try on, which was definitely not my style, but Monica could see that it was important to her for me to indulge her selection, so she helped to show that it wasn't my style. My mom also found her dress at Bijou and by the end of the day, I felt like Monica was a good friend and completely understood my tastes and selections. I met Esme at my fittings and she was amazing. She fitted the dress so perfectly to me and it complimented my shape so well. She was so laid back, but obviously cared a lot about making me look great. Every time I had to go into Bijou, the entire staff was so friendly and really seemed like they were so excited for each bride. It was a great experience with them and I'm glad I wasn't discouraged from my first entry into the store. They have something to fit just about any budget and want to make you look beautiful!

I had a great experience getting my dress at Bijou Bridal. It was the first place I looked and they had so many beautiful dresses to choose from. The sales staff was very friendly and helpful while I went through the selection process and once I purchased the dress my seamstress Pat was wonderful, my dress was perfect and fit like a glove.

I purchased my wedding gown at Bijou Bridal, and they were wonderful! Monica was my consultant, and she was a total sweetheart. Bijou was my first appointment, so I was very nervous going in that I was going to have a hard time finding the perfect dress. Monica was just amazing. She really took the time to talk to me to see what my likes and dislikes were, and also took my budget into consideration. She made me feel very comfortable and guided me through the whole process. She also had some really great suggestions about fit and the best silhouette for my body type. She was just really fantastic to work with!

Bijou has an very large selection of gowns, so if you're not sure what exactly you want, this is a great place to start because they have so many options! After consulting with me, Monica helped me find the perfect one for my taste and budget :) I actually found 2 at my first appointment and couldn't make up my mind. I left that day and went to several other boutiques in the area and just did not have the same experience I had at Bijou. I went back the following day and purchased my dress!

My experience with them was amazing from start to finish. The alterations went smoothly, my seamstress Esme was fantastic. She knew how best to fix any issue that I had with the fit, and the final product was perfect!

I can't say enough great things about the selection and the staff at Bijou. I would definitely recommend them!

So, I needed a dress...a beautiful dress, and QUICK. The ladies at Bijou came through for me in a serious clutch. We were planning to elope, and 6 weeks before my secret destination wedding, I decided that the dress I'd purchased online, was just not for me. I had no help from friends or family because I couldn't let the secret out. I called Bijou, spoke to Laura and explained my situation...she squeezed me in for an appointment the following Saturday (their busiest day and my ONLY availability). She also had me tell her what exactly I was looking for (my dream dress) and why I didn't like the dress I'd purchased. Knowing that this shop is in Ardmore and carried alot of upscale dresses, I expected some really snotty people, not the best service, and to spend way more than I wanted to. As such, I made appointments at several other shops on the same day. I couldn't have been more wrong. When I got to Bijou, I was immediately at ease. The shop is gorgeous and they have a very large selection. Laura, allowed me to look around and choose a bunch of dresses to try on, but little did I know, she'd already come up with a plan to create exactly what I wanted. It turned out, that one of the dresses I chose was extremely simple and the one she'd planned to use...her plan was to add a few things to it, to make it exactly what I wanted. It worked! It turned out to be a sample so it was less than I expected to spend! From there, the management team and seamstresses, flew into action and made a few simple adjustments and additions that created my dream dress. They were super nice, easy to work with, and gave me direct answers about what could and couldn't be done. They got everything done with time to spare, hugged me, and simply couldn't have been more accomodating. My wedding was perfect and I'm totally psyched that I get to wear the dress again for my reception so all my friends and family can see it!!!!

We went to three different bridal salons around Philadelphia and this was by the far the best. Clean, friendly, excellent selection at all price points. There is a couture room, but it's small compared to the more reasonably priced dress selections.

The absolute best part of Bijou was the alterations program. For a flat fee of $350 you can get all alterations to your dress done. We worked with Anna and she is amazing. So sweet, so talented.

There is also a great selection of dresses for bridesmaids and MOBs. My mom got her dress there and it was beautiful. She also got alterations done by Anna. They were able to merge our appointments together to save us time and energy which was really nice.

Also, Bijou is open until 8pm most nights which makes it easier to get there when you're working/busy.

I was impressed with Bijou from the moment I walked in the door. I live on the Main Line but I am definitely not a "Main Line" girl. I grew up in Northeast Philly and went to Philadelphia catholic schools for 12 years. I worked my way through college (10 years after high school) and law school and moved out to the Main Line primarily for the good schools for the kids. This is a second marriage for us as we were both widowed several years ago. We chose to have a traditional formal wedding so I wanted a traditional wedding gown. I expected "snooty" people here. Instead, I walked in without an appointment and was immediately helped and picked a gown from the sample gowns on sale. Almost every gown I tried on was fabulous and reasonably price since they were samples. The HIGHLIGHT of my experience here, though, was Nickolette!! She is the seamstress who handled my alterations! I wanted serious alterations to the gown and, in addition, I wanted to turn a back-buttoning blouse/jacket into a bolero jacket. It was almost like remaking the gown and Nickolette did a miraculous job. She is a perfectionist!! In addition, she is one of the sweetest, easiest people to work with that I ever met. I'm not easy to please especially when it comes to my clothing! Nickolette worked magic!! The gown was gorgeous and everyone couldn't stop talking about how beautiful it was! Thank you Nickolette for making me look fantastic on my special day!!!!

My wedding dress was one of my absolute favorite parts of my wedding day. The staff at Bijou Bridal was fantastic.
After being disappointed by over-priced dresses at another shop, we found that Bijou Bridal had a range of beautiful dresses that were in my price range. While trying on dresses, the staff accommodated my mom, my four sisters, and two additional bridesmaids who came with me to choose a dress. I worked with Brenda that day, and she made me comfortable during the whole process of changing into about 20 dresses that day.
My seamstress was Pat. After my first fitting, my mom and I walked out and said "We think we got the best one". She made every fitting a fun time, and worked thoroughly to fit my dress exactly the way I wanted it. It was beautiful.
Through a minor mistake, I was missing a piece of my dress when I got home after picking it up two days before my wedding. When I called to ask them about the missing piece, there was never a question that they would do all they could to get me that missing piece. One of the women drove it to my house within a few hours (about 40 minutes away).
Everyone we worked with at Bijou Bridal was wonderful. I definitely recommend this store!

This review is for the sales team and overall feel of the place. I'll have to update after my dress comes in and I start alterations.

I am SOOOO happy with all the lovely ladies at Bijou in Ardmore PA. I am very indecisive, tried on probably 20 dresses in over 3 appointments, and couldn't figure out what I wanted. I went to a few other places and I was a bit weary b/c some of the others seemed less organized, less spacious, etc and I didn't feel other associates were as polite. Bijou had better service and the same prices as the other places. I know I drove my sisters & mom nuts needing to try on so many things and pair them with different jewelry, veils etc before I could make any decisions, but the girls at Bijou were amazing. I worked with Caroline for the majority of the time and then Katie on the phone and for measurements and Michelle on my last visit for a last minute appointment which was when I finally made my decision. All 3 were girls I felt I could be friends with and I really appreciated how helpful and genuine they were.

I had fallen for 2 different dresses and every salon in PA, NJ, and NY I called didn't carry both dresses. Bijou tried to get the other dress in for me so I could try them on back to back but I changed my mind again and it wasn't necessary. I just signed off on & gave a deposit on my dress and I couldn't be happier. I really want to rave about these girls because their goal truly is for the bride to be happy (I also found out they do not work on commission so maybe that helps?) and these ladies bent over backwards to help me choose a perfect dress that was within my budget (around $1k). They do have a gorgeous selection of dresses going up to $5k or more, as well as BP dresses and MOB/MOG dresses if you are looking.

I loved working with Bijou Bridal for my wedding gown, my bridesmaid dresses, and the mother-of-the-bride gown. They were very professional, had an amazing selection of gowns, and the atmosphere was just perfect for finding THE dress. They were also incredibly helpful throughout my fittings and the packaging up of my dress so that it was perfect and ready to go for the big day- even sending someone out to help properly place the gown in the back seat of my car so it wouldn't wrinkle. GREAT service.

My dress from Bijou was absolutely amazing!! I will I could post pictures! All of the sales team and seamstress's were very helpful, professional, and made the whole process exciting and fun! I purchased my bridal gown from Bijou Bridal. They are absolutely wonderful! They have a good selection of dresses, and the staff are professional and courteous. They also did an amazing job with the alterations! I would definitely recommend shopping at Bijou! However, I would say that they don't have much below the $1800 price point, so if you have a limited budget it might not be the place for you.

They were great. So friendly. I found a dress that I coudln't afford.. I sent them a picture of the dress I wanted.. they found one almost exaclty like it... it was perfect! My fittings were great! Ana was awesome! If you are looking for a different place... you will find it here~!

I purchased my bridal gown from this store, even though I live in the Washington DC area, hearing good things about it from a friend. The staff is very professional, friendly, attentive, and relaxing as they whole-heartedly understand the stress of choosing THE dress of a girl's dreams! Surprisingly, I did not initially choose the dress I ended up purchasing -- rather, Katie, the one I had the appointment with, pulled it off the mannequin and offered the suggestion to try it on. I agreed -- and it was completely gorgeous! All the dresses in the store are absolutely beautiful.

Excited about the gown, I came back 3 times for fittings. Lucy helped me and was kind, funny, comfortable to chat with, and catered to all of my needs. She was even more particular than I was about the hemming of the dress, which shows the great care that those at Bijou Bridal take for their brides. After each fitting, I'd leave feeling pretty, skinny, and so happy with the care and love that was going into these sessions and into my dress! Bijou has a way of making any girl feel amazingly pretty with the way they fawn over you :)

They were also accommodating -- since it would be a burden to pick up my wedding dress on the day before the wedding, they let me take it home with me all pressed and perfect on the final fitting.

The owner, Julie, would also pop over with each fitting to make sure I was doing okay. 5'7" with long black hair, she's the prettiest and youngest store owner my eyes have ever beholden -- no wonder this store is so modern and pretty and elegant! Also probably one of the most genuinely kind people I've ever met :)

Overall, I am so glad that I got my dress from Bijou Bridal. All of my family and friends were amazed at how gorgeous and expensive-looking the dress was, since it was well made and tailored exactly. It really made this whole wedding process feel more real to me, and I'm so glad they helped me with the most important detail of my wedding! :)

WOW! I had the most amazing experience at Bijou Bridal! Katie and Monica spent so much time with me perfecting my pick for my bridal gown choice, and then my bridesmaids dresses. The entire experience was happy and lovely. The facility is beautiful, clean, and makes you feel like a bride. They have a wonderful diverse selection of dresses and I was so pleased!!! My mom also found the perfect dress for her at Bijou. The staff was so attentive and excited for me.

Then came alterations! Nicolette was beyond amazing- she took all my feedback (as well as my mothers!) and help craft my dress until it was perfect on me. I loved it and it was perfection. It fit like a glove and I was completely comfortable my entire wedding day.

Best place ever- I can't wait to go back for my sisters wedding!!!

I loved my dress!! At first I was worried, because the prices were very high and way out of my price range ($1000 range). however, I looked at their 'retired, discontinued and sample dress' room. There wer plenty of amazing dresses there. I found a dress that I LOVED!!! it was perfect for me, totally in my price range and simply gorgeous! Nicolette, my seamstress from Bijou, was incredible! She made me feel and look like a fairy tale princess. i would definitely ask for her-she is super talented and nice.

I picked Bijou because I saw the dress I wanted in a wedding magazine and hunted down where I could find it. All the staff was friendly, helpful, and professional and the service was absolutely top notch. I looked forward to going to each appointment - not only to see my dress but because everyone was so warm and welcoming. The seamstress, Jill, was so easy to work with and her work on the dress was beautiful!!! The only part of the experience I regret is not getting my mother and maid's dresses here as well!

I would highly recommend this store, the service was outstanding. The moment we walked through the door they were so friendly and attentive. They actually take the time to cater to you without being pushy on trying to sell anything. The selection of dresses was just what I was hoping for. Nora is fantastic!!!

I went to several salons in both NC (where I got married) and the Philadelphia suburbs (where I live). I bought my dress at Bijou after a really relaxed and low-pressure dress appointment (the consultants are not on commission (how refreshing!)). My dress came in and I was set up for alterations. Bijou offers an inclusive alterations package. You don't have to choose upon purchasing the dress (you can wait until the dress arrives) and while you sign something saying that you take responsibility for the size ordered, they also state in the contract and verbally that taking in (or letting out) the bodice, hemming, and a standard 3pt bustle are included so I didn't feel uneasy about ordering a size up. I opted for this and was very very pleased with my seamstress and her work. I had a total of 3 appointments before picking the dress up and Pat was amazing. When I picked up the dress it was steamed and I had instructions for how to load the dress into the car for my drive South and for how to step into it, how to do the buttons, everything. I liked this store before I had the dress altered, but after working with Pat, I was even more pleased with my experience.
