Cream of the Crop Videographer

Peri did an incredible, amazing, awesome, stunning and marvelous job on my wedding video. There aren’t enough synonyms available to describe the level of Peri’s work ethic and craftsmanship. She was super personable, down to earth and enjoyable to interact with before, during and after. She made wedding guests feel comfortable when shooting their video commentary which helped add humorous moments to the occasion and captured all of the special moments in unique and creative ways. She processed edits timely and flawlessly and produced an excellent final video presentation.

Fast forward 15 years after my wedding, my father (Daddy-O) who walked me down the wedding aisle passed away suddenly. I wanted to incorporate portions of my wedding video that show my Daddy-O smiling, dancing, laughing and living his best life into his memorial slideshow presentation, however, I got divorced and couldn’t find my wedding video. I contacted Peri in hopes she still had it, and she was able to confirm within a matter of minutes that she saved my video footage.

Peri provided a test video for me to download to make sure it was compatible with the video editing software i’m using for my Daddy-O’s slideshow. Once I confirmed it was a compatible file type, she provided a secondary high resolution file to download, all within a few days which will help me complete my father’s slideshow presentation in time for his memorial. Thank you, Peri!

Excellent and talented; just what a 30-yr vow renewal deserves

They did an awesome job. We decided the week prior to our vow renewal to use them and we weren't disappointed. Very professional and people friendly. They gave us the video we imagined for our 30th anniversary. I would highly recommend them for any high quality, professional video needs you may have.

We decided 3 weeks before out wedding to hire a videographer. Since we were having a destination wedding, we were not familiar the area. The wedding coordinator gave us a list of local providers and that is how we contacted Big Time Video Services. Within a couple of days we booked her services for out special day and could not be more pleased with the results. Thanks again for the beautiful memories.

Peri and her team at BigTime Video were amazing to work with and captured every special moment of our big day. As we all know, the day flies by way too quickly and Peri and her team allowed us to relive the day over and over again through all of the footage her team captured. By far one of the best decisions we made was hiring Peri and her team. She was easy to work with, had a great personality and was very flexible. In addition Peri and her team do a lot of weddings in the Monterey area and work with many of the other wedding vendors in the area. Her team had amazing chemistry with everyone (specifically our DJ). Thank you again for all of your hard work and attention to detail!

I really enjoyed working with Big Time Video. We decided to hire a videographer relatively late in the process (maybe 1-2 months before the wedding?) and didn't have much budget left for it, but kept reading that people thought a videographer was the best money spent. Peri at Big Time Video was incredibly responsive (sending emails to me back and forth late into the evening), and offered me options of ways to take the video at all different price points, with tips on how to rearrange our day of schedule to keep the "video" moments compact so we could pay for less time. We ultimately elected to pay for 5 hours of video, starting 15 minutes before the mass and going through the cake cutting at the reception. We paid to have it edited after the wedding when we had a bit more money available. Peri was amazing through the process, and knew everything about our venues and gave us tips on what to ask the coordinators. She was extremely friendly on the day of, and we were so excited to get our video and watch it together. Everything from the day was a blur, and we'll treasure the video forever.

Peri was amazing for our wedding - good natured, gave really clear directions, and our videos turned out amazingly.

She was also a bit of a lifesaver - both my husband and I managed to develop zits the day of the wedding, and I cut myself in about 3 places shaving. We had some cover-up, but we both have zilch experience with make-up. Our photographer had also brought some make-up, as well as brushes, and Peri was able to make our skin look flawless. No one suspected we were wearing make-up either!

We loved working with Peri, and highly recommend her for anyone with video needs in the Monterey area!

This videographer service was phenomenal. Peri was genuinely motivated to make a video that best fit our desires. She took the time to get to know my husband and I prior to the wedding and to ask us what type of shots we would want. She was also flexible enough to come earlier and stay later than previously discussed without even billing us for the extra 30 minutes we needed. Our short and long wedding videos were beautiful and I would highly recommend her to anyone having a wedding in Carmel. Thank you so much for recording our day!

Peri was so helpful right from the beginning. BigTime Video Services was on the preferred vendor list for our venue so I decided to contact them to see if their pricing was competitive with the other vendors on the list. Peri responded to my email right away and asked if I had a few moments to chat. We talked on the phone and she was very friendly and she was very accommodating to our budget. Needless to say we decided to hire them for our big day. Peri and Jayna were very professional throughout the whole process and on the wedding day. And the final product turned out so well! They did a wonderful job of really capturing the day and our emotions. My family loves the video as well.

Peri was a real treat to work with. She's very responsive (VERY quick on email), which is great when you're trying to plan a wedding. Working with her on the actual day was fantastic. I'm not someone who likes having a camera in my face but Peri made me feel very comfortable and I could go about my day without worrying about anything. We recently received the final product and it was beautiful. So much fun to be able to relive that day. I was originally a little hesitant about hiring a videographer but I'm so happy I did. I got married in California and most of my family is in Michigan, so we decided to pursue a live-stream of our event to share with friends and family back home. We contacted Peri, who was incredibly friendly and positive. She responded quickly to our request, noting that she had not done a live stream before, but was willing to put in the work to test it out and make sure they had the equipment required to make it perfect for us.
She spent her own free time at the venue running a demo for us, and sending us the link, to make sure the quality and shots were what we wanted. It looked amazing.
I can't tell you how many text messages and phone calls I received from family and friends who were able to share in our special day via the internet. They were able to see our entire wedding ceremony, thanks for BigTime Video Services. My husband and I are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work with Peri and team. They made the process easy and affordable, while providing great quality video for us. I would high recommend!

I was at first reluctant to have a videographer for my wedding. I was not impressed with the ones I had seen from other weddings that consisted of interviews of guests primarily and people acting foolishly, and thought the money would be better spent elsewhere. However, I was persuaded to have one anyway.

We are so glad we hired Peri. The videographers were unobtrusive, but caught all of the important aspects of our wedding, before and during the ceremony and after. It is absolutely lovely and captured the feel or our wedding perfectly. The editing was superb, and the audio clear. I highly recommend her for anyone who wants a timeless and beautiful film to enjoy for years to come.

We didn't originally intend to hire a vidographer due to budget constraints, but we were able to find some wiggle room and decided to go for it. We're glad we did because the day flew by so fast, as everyone told us it would. Without a videographer present, we surely would have missed many memorable moments.

We decided to hire Big Time Video because they provided the most for our budget. Peri was very responsive and professional in our discussions over email. Steve, our videographer, arrived on time and was professional as well. We received some comments that they never noticed a videographer the whole day, and to us, that meant Steve was doing a great job. He was able to capture our entire day without being intrusive. He also worked very well with our photographer.

We haven't received our footage yet, but we have no doubt that we will be very happy with the outcome.

My husband was largely a bystander during wedding planning, but he did speak up about hiring a videographer... and I'm so glad he did! Having all of the precious moments from the most special day of our lives captured on film to relive whenever we please is a treasure we will appreciate for the rest of our lives. Peri was a pleasure to work with. She is extremely professional and responsive. She held our hands through the planning process, and the timeline we developed with her informed many of our interactions and decisions with other vendors. On the day of, she went above and beyond to make sure she captured every moment. The highlight video she made was absolutely beautiful. When I was planning my wedding and budgeting everything out, I considered not having a videographer. However, after talking with Peri on the phone she made me realize how important and enjoyable it would be to have a video of our wedding - and she did that without trying to "sell" me a product. We worked with Jayna on the day of our wedding and she was great. We didn't feel like we were being followed or suffocated at all, which some of our friends had mentioned they experienced. After our wedding, waiting to see our video was the most important and exciting thing - I couldn't wait! When we watched our video some months later, we found out Jayna had interviewed our bridal party and other family members which made it so special and such a surprise to us. Why to hire a videographer: When we were planning our wedding, my now husband and I went back and forth about whether or not to get a videographer and we are so glad we did. Like so many couples say when reminiscing about their wedding, the day went by so quickly! Having a video of the event lets us relive the joy and happiness we felt on such a special day.

I worked with Perri in the initial booking process and Jayna was our videographer. Both were easy to correspond with and were able to answer all my questions promptly. Jayna did a wonderful job capturing all our beautiful moments throughout the wedding day. She was very friendly and super discreet – our guests don’t remember a videographer being present! Our videographer was extremely professional, friendly, accommodating. She did an excellent job capturing the feeling and emotion of the day. I chose Big Time Video because they were on the preferred vendor list for the Monterey Plaza Hotel and Spa. They were willing to work within my budget and made signing up and reserving the day easy. Jayna was great! I am so glad she did our wedding. She is upbeat and fun to be around, which is exactly what I needed on the big day. The final result was awesome! The short video makes me cry every time I watch it, my family has also loved it. Plus I have all of the extra footage to watch at my leisure and to fully remember the day.
Definitely make sure you review your contract often. The dates and what you need to do are referenced there and are adhered to strictly. The contract itself is your best form of communication for all of your deadlines and responsibilities. I am very happy with the short video and the level of professionalism that Jayna displayed.

Incredible! If I could rate higher I would. I searched around for days upon days until I found BigTime Video Services. I am 100% with everything from start to finish. From day one Peri had been a pleasure to work with. She was super nice, very quick respond, and was very flexible about requesting extra time just days before my wedding. The price was great, for the coverage and well worth it. I don’t often write reviews, but if you are going to get married your day is going to go by so fast, you need to get video and BigTime is who you should use!

Let me just say my phone broke before I was going to propose so communication was very difficult on my part. I was very pleased with their ability to adapt to challenges from their customers. Essentially they were able to shoot our engagement video within 24 hour notice. They were very efficient and responsive to my requests and needs and provided fast feedback pre and post video. They are patient and will work with you to ensure that you are fully content with the material and who could ask for more than that. The quality and sound of the video was great and their crew are a pleasure to work with.Their video and film making skills and talent have easily met and exceeded our expectations. Serious advice to any guy thinking about getting engaged, or having a special event, get a videographer and make it Big Time Video Services.

We absolutely LOVE our long video and highlight video! Peri and her team just did an amazing job!

After the wedding was over, my husband and I said - WOW how is the day over? I know everyone says it, but your wedding day will go by faster than you can imagine. However, when we got our wedding video we got to relive every moment - which literally brought tears to my eyes. They captured the most important moments along with the special little moments that my husband and I didn't notice (which are almost my favorite now). It really is amazing how wonderful the video turned out and how they captured the wedding day so perfectly. My niece and nephew say it is their favorite movie and ask to watch it all the time (still after almost a year).

I will say that I was worried about having a videographer at first because I was not crazy about having a video camera following us around all day, but it was not the way at all! They just blended into everything going on around them. They did give us some direction on what to do in a couple situations, and am so happy for that because it all turned out so well in the video.

Also, Peri and her team are extremely professional. When talking to them about services and price Peri was very helpful and gave me all sorts of options that would fit in my budget. She also was quite prompt with all her responses!

Thank you so much Big Time, we are so so happy that we can relive our wedding day over and over again!!

Peri and her staff were incredibly priceless at our wedding! I know everyone says the one thing they regret is not having a videographer -- so that's the reason I hired Big Time Video Services to film our wedding. However, I didn't realize HOW MUCH the video means! This was going to be one of those options I "cut from the budget" -- never EVER will I tell a bride to do that after the amazingness captured from our day on video. Every detail mattered to me, but I didn't realize how important the video is to capture the emotion, excitement, and love of the whole day! The staff made me and my husband feel incredibly comfortable and excited for our special day. We've watched our highlight reel numerous times and have ended in happy tears each time. I can't speak highly enough about this company. Peri is AMAZING with her communication, makes you feel comfortable, and never oversells. Peri and her team were very professional. Initially, my husband and I had not anticipated room in our budget for a videographer. We are so glad we did! Peri and her team were amazing before, during, and after our wedding. Having a videographer was really important to us, and everyone we talked to in Carmel said we had to use Peri and Big Time Video. I am a pretty Type A kind of person, so I really bombarded Peri with emails and asked tons of questions, and she was so incredibly responsive and thorough. Always very professional and super flexible. We kept going back and forth on what we wanted, how long we wanted coverage, how many videographers, etc., and Peri took it all in stride. On the big day, the videographers were both amazing, made us feel totally comfortable, and put everyone at ease. I was really worried about a videographer being around and making people feel awkard, and having huge lights or something and taking away from our natural vibe, but that wasn't the case at all. They blended right into the crowd, and captured so many perfect and amazing moments and no one even noticed they were there. Your wedding day is so special and you spend so much time putting everything together to make it perfect, and once it arrives it goes by in an instant! There were so many things that happened that we didn't even know about and/or remember because we were so overcome with the day. Having the amazing video to look back on is so special to us, and we really cherish it already. All of our friends and family have commented on how great it is, and like other reviews have said, it's not a boring normal wedding video, it's really fun and funny and exciting, and keeps you intersted. My mom has shown the highlights version to co-workers who we don't even know and they're brought to tears and laughter! Great work Peri and team!!! We love our video, and we are so happy we chose Big Time Video as our videographer. Perri Basseri and Patrick are wonderful to work with, easy-going and professional. Perri was very responsive through email and phone and answered all my questions. She's very knowledgeable at what she does.
When we received the full edited video, we were amazed on how wonderfully it was done, they were able to capture our experience of the wedding, as well as, all the wonderful moments we missed.

Peri was very helpful throughout the planning process. First, we had to delay our wedding due to my husband's military duty, and Peri was very flexible and helped us modify all the paperwork. She was also patient as we were juggling the wedding and a move from the East Coast to the West Coast. The day of she was on time, and again flexible and patient as we were behind schedule. She was very responsive when it came to editing. My husband and I are both analysts for a living and can be somewhat picky, but we were so pleased with the final product!

Peri Basseri at BigTime Video Services was our videographer and an absolute pleasure to work with. Peri is very accessible by e-mail, and she scheduled a time for us to talk on the phone for our first conversation. She answered all our questions and provided a lot of options for packages so that we can get exactly what we want - I only wish all my vendors were so flexible! On the day of our wedding, Peri and the second videographer were very professional. They blended well with the guests, so they did not feel like intruders at all.

I waited to review until after I saw the videos, and I have to say that I absolutely loved them! We had a shorter video that perfectly captured the emotions of the day, and it's the perfect length to share with family and friends that could not attend. We also had a longer video just for us and close family. I was hesitant at first about hiring a videographer due to budget reasons, but I definitely think it was worth it - there were moments like all the great wedding toasts that couldn't have been captured by photographs, and we were so glad to watch them again after the wedding. I'm happy that we had Peri there to record our special day, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her!

I'll be honest - we didn't budget for a videographer. Hiring a videographer is an expensive proposition, but my mom decided it was something she absolutely wanted so she stepped in and hired Jayna at BigTime Video Services. Two videographers were there for the day and they followed us around. I felt a bit bad because we weren't able to carve out much exclusive time for the videographer so I was a bit worried as to whether they'd be able to catch enough footage - but let me tell you, they did a terrific job. I absolutely love the 10-min video they made for us and I'm so glad my mom decided to hire Jayna for the big day. Knowing what I know now, I would budget in for Jayna and her crew because the video is something you're going to have for life - and it isn't one of those cheesy ones!

When working on the budget for their wedding, hiring a videographer was not high on the list of priorities for my son and his bride to be. After the fact, having seen the video created by Jayna, my son and daughter-in-law are thrilled to have the beautiful video which absolutely captures the essence of their special day. Having shared this video with friends who were at the wedding, I was surprised to hear one say that she had not even noticed there was a videographer present for the event, much less 2 of them. We really love the results that Peri Basseri at BigTime Video Services produced with our wedding video. Their two-camera coverage and excellent editing made our ten minute video a fantastic wedding remembrance. The feedback we've gotten from friends who didn't even attend is that it looked marvelous. The video has literally brought tears to folks who didn't even attend. From folks who did attend, they have literally said it's the best wedding video they seen. They did a great job shooting and a great job editing in music caught on site with music delivered from the studio. In shooting he was unobtrusive, yet omnipresent. The only shame of never getting married again is not being able to hire Big Time again!

To be honest, videography was an after-thought for our wedding. We originally hadn't budgeted for it thinking that it would be an unnecessary cost. After talking with a lot of friends about it, they all urged me to hire a videographer. I'm so happy I did! Our wedding went by so quickly and I am so happy that I have a video of the day! Peri was incredible. She was super easy to work with and very professional. While we were on our honeymoon, we got a surprise email from Peri. Even though we had not paid her to edit our wedding video, she edited a small video for us. We got to relive our wedding on our honeymoon! I not only 100% recommend hiring a videographer, but I recommend Big Time Video if you are getting married in the Monterey/Salinas area!

My videographer was so sweet, she made me feel comfortable in front of the camera. I don't really like myself in video so it was a little awkward for me at first but she just told me to pretend there isn't a camera and just act natural do whatever you want play with your hair, make up, touch my dress or look at my veil and what not. She focused on both my husband and I equally, unlike my photographer who only focused on me and would get in my videographer's way. She asked great questions and when I was just so caught up in the moment and couldn't come up with an answer she just moved right along instead of waiting and making me feel on the spot or dumb. Nonetheless I am ecstatic about my video and will definitely use Big Time Video again in the future.

We had no idea it’d be so awesome... As we were planning our wedding, we thought a video recording of the ceremony and reception was going to be a great way to capture the day forever. Having seen videos from siblings and friends' weddings shot by videographers in other cities, the products ranged from pretty good to slightly boring... So hoping for the best, we called Peri at Big Time Video and she agreed to help us out. Peri met with us and we discussed all aspects of our wedding plans - she gave us great advice and we developed a plan to get the coverage we wanted most. Peri and her assistant, Jayna, were well prepared on wedding day, and blended very well with the event, capturing key moments in a very unobtrusive way. After the wedding, Peri sent a link to some samples of her post-production work from our big day. I was able to share the clip with my 4 sisters who are all married. Each is SO envious of the treasure Peri has created from our wedding day. Her work is superb. The full video is absolutely romantic, beautiful, engaging, scenic, and it captured so much of the people and little events of the day – things we would have ever seen, but are so sweet. Her timing, technique, and easy spirit put us all at ease - the DVD is an absolute treasure! We are so glad we asked Peri to work with us – we both agree that Peri not only captured the day, but her artistry made it so wonderfully romantic and so truly captivating. One sister said: “if you ever fight, just pull out that DVD and you can’t help but fall in love all over again”. As the groom I had only a few tasks in my wedding. One of which was hiring the videographer. My main concern was video quality and I ended up watching way more wedding videos than I had ever wanted to. It was a daunting task but one of the things that caught my eye about BigTime was how good their videos look. My next priority was of course price. From start to finish BigTime did a wonderful job and scored me points with my wife.
The pricing was better than anything I could find for what we wanted, which was basically getting everything possible on film. Peri had filmed our wedding venue before so we knew exactly what we would get and she took care of all the shots with out any problems. We actually picked our Officiant after seeing him in one of her videos!
During the ceremony she was very discreet and I only remember noticing her once or twice. She got some funny and touching interviews with guests and family and managed to capture everything we missed during our hectic day.
In the end, my wife said it is the best movie she has ever seen. Even the highlight reel was a tear-jerker. More than just capturing the footage, BigTime really shines in their editing. How they condensed a whole day into two hours, much less a 5 minute highlight and still capturing the essence of our wedding is absolutely amazing. We are extremely happy and it was definitely money well spent.

We were extremely happy with how our wedding video came out. We had a large amount of guests are at the wedding which made things quite a bit more expensive, and so I debated as to whether I should spend the money on a videographer. I am so glad I did! The wedding day goes by so fast (and my memory seems not be as sharp as it once was), so it is such a blessing to have the whole day beautifully captured on film.

Peri and her crew are not obtrusive or annoying with their video cameras; in fact, I hardly remember them being there. Peri also has a variety of packages she offers in order to work with different price points.

I looked at a couple of different videographers, but I really like Peri’s elegant and intimate style. She is an expert at capturing the most special moments. When I sent out the link to our video, I got e-mails back from my bridesmaids saying that they had tears in their eyes…..I didn’t cry at my wedding, but seeing the video definitely made me teary!

Again, if you are debating whether or not to get a videographer….do it! And chose Peri!

During the planning phase, we were contemplating whether or not to use a videographer for our wedding but we were convinced by some of our married friends to do it as a great way to capture the day for posterity. We are so happy now that we decided to do it and are especially lucky to have found and used Big Time Video Services. Picking Peri and her team was one of the best decisions we made for the wedding.

We first met Peri at her studio in Monterey and found her to be very personable, friendly, and warm. We liked her immediately. We even got a little emotional viewing some of the wedding videos she was currently editing. It was obvious to us she is very passionate and loves what she does.

On the day of our wedding Peri and her colleague were very easy to work with. They made us feel very comfortable and not overly directed. She is a true professional who also worked along very well with our photographer and wedding planner.

When we got our 7 min video of our ceremony and reception highlights we could not have been happier. It was brilliantly edited and showcased the best moments of the day. Peri is a talented videographer and editor who knows how to capture the right moments of the wedding without it becoming tedious. Big Time and Peri Basseri recently videotaped my wedding and I can't say enough poitives about the job she did for us. Coming in, I was skeptical on whether we even needed a videographer as I figured still pictures and memories would be fine. The wedding turned out to be an even more beautiful and emotional day than I had imagined it could be, and Peri managed to capture every single key aspect of the day.

I don't have alot of recollection of even noticing I was being videotaped- Peri blended into the event seamlessly. When we watched the final DVD my wife and her parents cried again as if they were back at the ceremony. I am very happy we had a videographer of Peri's caliber and I would highly reccommend Big Time!

My advice is to determine what you would like filmed and have a vision of the story built into your filming schedule. We didn't decide on having our wedding filmed until about three weeks before hand - we had been taking dancing lessons all summer and decided we especially wanted our efforts filmed. Peri was a pleasure to work with and was very flexible and offered a good amount of direction for what should be filmed. We are very pleased with the final highlight video- it captured so many key moments and will be enjoyable to watch in the years to come.

Peri and Big Time Video created an amazing video of our wedding. We just received the final product (a 10-minute short film) and we couldn't be happier with the way it turned out. Peri did a great job of capturing the emotion of the day with great camera work that consists of steady shots and nicely framed images and her top-notch, professional editing. Peri has been a pleasure to work with and she was one of our favorite wedding vendors. She's friendly, professional and quickly responds to both emails and phone calls. She's also very flexible. When I asked her to make some minor edits to our film, she was very understanding and made the edits right away. As an added bonus, Big Time uses state of the art equipment and shoots in HD, which was something that was important to my husband. We're very excited that Peri is making a copy of our movie in Blu-ray.

I cannot say enough about Big Time Video Services!! I was a frantic bride as I was marrying a man in the military and his orders were changed at the last minute. Our wedding that was planning in Virginia was suddenly canceled and I was rebooking everything last minute in Monterey, CA! I called Peri at Big Time and with less than 3 months to go, she made it happen and I am so glad she did. Peri, Patrick and crew are GREAT to work with. I was able to chat with her on the phone quite a bit and meet with them in person before the wedding. They took the time to discuss every detail with me and get a good idea of what we wanted.

Everything went well on the big day and Patrick and Charles were great. Every moment, detail and emotion was captured and my husband and I cried out way through watching it for the first time. They produced more than just a video for us...they made a movie of our day and we could not be more thrilled with the finished product.

If you are getting married in the Monterey area, there's only one place you need to go for your video! You will not be disappointed!

Ahhhhh to wedding plan and find everyone who will be working that day to help capture all your memories is a pretty hard decision.........We were at the end of making ALL our big decisions for our wedding and Big Time Video was the missing piece to our wedding team. Between Amy Bryd Weddings, DNA and Kim Lemiare we just heard so many raves about them all working together so we new that Big Time Video was what we needed.
As a Bride (who is pretty camera shy), Patrick did a great job of not making me feel uncomfortable in a way, honestly I felt like they were never there. Which we loved!!! He really went out of his way to make sure he got the best parts of our wedding.
The most important thing for my husband was to have a amazing video which captured all the love that was around us......"oh and for it to be high-def."<---- such a guy thing! lol.

When my husband and I started planning our wedding, neither one of us thought that we needed or wanted to have a videographer. However, when we realized that some of our closest family and friends weren't going to be able to attend our wedding, we decided that hiring a videographer was a must.

Big Time Video Services was on our wedding location's recommended vendor list, and after working with Peri and her team, I can understand why. Peri is energetic, friendly, and very professional. She is easy to communicate with and always quick to respond to any questions or concerns.

Patrick and Charles did an outstanding job capturing all the smiles and laughter, tears and tender moments of our wedding day. They were never bothersome or obtrusive. In fact, my husband and I, and even our guests, hardly noticed they were there.

When Peri sent me the completed wedding highlights video, I couldn't believe what an amazing job they had done. From the visuals, to the music and audio clips, the video completely captured the look and feel of our wedding day. It told such an emotional and touching story and it is one that my husband and I have enjoyed watching over and over again. I would highly recommend Big Time Video Services to anyone!

WE loved Peri and the Big Time Video team! For us, it was the best money we spent on our wedding and here's why. As a bride you are told over and over again how quickly your big day goes by and you think "ya, but I'm really going to stop and enjoy the day". The good news is we really did, but you still miss so much and your head is spinning with excitement, family, loved ones and of course your new husband/wife. Big time video did a GREAT job on getting all the little moments that you will treausure for a lifetime to come. I remember watching it for the first time and getting toally choked up saying "I can't believe how perfectly that they got that moment!". We sent it out to our family and friends and go comments like "wow! that's the best wedding video i've ever seen, and I don't even like these things!". We also heard "it brought the whole amazing day back to real time and we loved every second of it!". Of course as the bride and groom, we are over the moon that we have the whole day captured so we can watch it over and over - Thanks Peri! We love it!

Peri and er team are pros. Patient and easy to work with. I'd recommend them anytime. Our wedding video is lovely and I'm so glad we decided to do it.

Peri and Bigtime Video gave us a perfect wedding video! When we were planning for the wedding everyone's advise was to get a videographer; people who didn't have one said it was their biggest regret and people who did get one said the video was the best memento they had of their wedding. Luckily I took their advice and found Peri. Everyone was right it is absolutely the best memento of the day! They did a wonderful job matching the look and feel of the video to our wedding. I had seen many companies sample videos and can say without a doubt that I think ours came out the best. Tasteful yet romantic, emotional but not sappy, great shots of the guests and the whole thing put together beautifully. It really captured the essence of the day. I highly recommend Peri and Bigtime Video!

Working with Peri was a dream. From our initial phone conversation until final delivery of the DVDs, she was responsive and easy to work with. When Jason & I first started planning our wedding, I had already dug my heels in about not having a videographer on our wedding day. Ive been a bridesmaid in a lot of weddings and Ive seen some pretty pushy and obnoxious videographers. We were planning a very intimate beachside ceremony in Monterey and I felt it would be too intrusive to have a videographer there.

Then we decided to have a celebration party for all our friends and family that werent able to attend our wedding and do a movie premier theme to show our wedding video. I was still determined not involve a videographer! I thought we could just set a video camera up in the corner and let it rip! How hard could it be, right? ;)

My mom and sister STRONGLY encouraged me to contact a videographer since we were building the entire party theme around having a quality video. So I grudgingly did.

I am happy to say that I was sooooo wrong about everything!

I contacted Peri and Big Time Video through my vendor list and from my first interaction with her I knew it was a wise choice to use her services. Her sincerity and professionalism came shining through! It is obvious that she is an artist that loves her work and she works hard to dispel the preconceived notions about videography.

Our wedding video is my most favorite thing about our wedding dayother than marrying the love of my life!!! It is a multidimensional sensory experience that pictures just cannot captureno matter who your photographer is!
Peri and Jana captured all the energy, emotion, music, and vocal nuances of one of the most magical day of our lives! The visual experience of being able to relive it all in a beautifully choreographed time capsule is invaluable to me. I am so utterly grateful that my mom & sister demanded that I revisit the idea of having a videographer!

And lastly I would like to add something about the interviews that they did. It is so special to have our parents and family members well wishes and expressions of love captured on film. Our families tend to be very shy and I didnt want them feeling harassed. Peri is definitely a people person and was able to (in a very gentle, professional and often humorous way) create a space in which my family felt very comfortable opening up to her and sharing their stories.

I will treasure our wedding video forever. There really arent enough words to describe how special it is to see yourself, your husband to be, family and friends in the throes of love and celebration and to know that this moment is captured in real time, for all time.

Peri and Big Time Video made a fabulous video for our wedding. She is amazing! Her video captured the magic of our day and our families cannot watch it enough times! The interviews she has with the guests create a precious collection for the long version of the video and her highlights videos are just magical. At first, I did not think we needed a videographer, but now I couldn't imagine having a wedding without a professional videographer to capture the memories of your special day -- from the dancing, the toasts, the laughter. Take my advice, use her as your videographer and you'll thank me that you did!

Both me and my husband would strongly recommend Big Time Video Services. We are so happy that we went with them!! Peri was amazing and she captured our wedding day perfectly! We watch our wedding DVD all the time and we still shed tears of happiness. And the editing and the final product is truly magical!
Both me and my husband agree that we would not change a thing about our wedding DVD because it is simply perfect! "Our dream wedding video come true."

All our family is so in love with the video too, they love to watch it because Peri (and some of her crew) captured all the beautiful moments, but at the same time Peri has this way of capturing it all without being obtrusive! We are very happy we decided to get a videographer - and couldn't be happier we chose Peri at Big Time Video. Peri was extremely easy to work with throughout the process, was great to have at the wedding and we absolutely love the finished product (as does everyone in our family). We cannot imagine being without the wonderful memories on DVD of the ceremony, toasts, dancing and everything else we missed while busy with pictures, etc. The quality of the finished video is amazing - Peri blended our music choices perfectly with wonderful footage of the whole afternoon, truly making it "our" video. During the wedding day itself, Peri and her crew were totally unobtrusive - my wife didn't even notice any cameras at the ceremony - yet they captured every part of the day we wanted. We had a small ceremony in Carmel Valley CA. As we live on the East Coast and both have busy jobs we weren't able to do a lot of legwork but Peri and her team worked with us to get the information and details they needed to plan the video. They asked all the right questions and made great suggestions. Additionally, they came up with great ideas for footage we never would've thought about but I will be so glad we have. They also went above and beyond editing it in a way that perfectly captured the day and wasn't overdone. They even found our (rather obscure) wedding song without having to ask us what it was and integrate it with the footage. Bigtime Video did an amazing job and I'm so happy we found them.

Having a video of my low key wedding seemed a bit over the top, but by far it was the best investment of our big day. The moment happens so quickly that being able to see how beautiful the moments actually are live tells a far greater story than pictures. The only reason I didn't give 5/5 is I would have liked to know ahead of time that music choices would be required so the editing process didn't have to be postponed. Other than that my experience with Big Time Video was very positive and Imy husband and I are very happy with the outcome.

We decided to utilize a videographer at the last minute. Jayna, from Big Time Video was very responsive and helpful. The day of, she was very nice and organized, even giving direction to my husband and I when we were awkwardly cutting the cake and unsure of what we were doing with no vendor coordinator in sight! Jayna was there when we needed her and blended in seamlessly when we didn't. She only appeared in the background of one photo and was very respectful of the photographer. When we received our approval copy, I was amazed to see it was a very digestible hour and did not leave anything out. I was hoping for a few more interviews with my guests, but I think that was due more to the awkwardness of our families and not Jayna's lack of trying. I was worried my video would be a cheesy slog to get through and I would never watch it again, but Jayna did a great job editing it and listened to the feedback I gave her on nit-picky details. Can't wait to get the finished product!

Peri was amazing! She was so friendly, I really enjoyed talking to her on the phone prior to the wedding. It was as though we already knew eachother. She was very organized and professional gathering all the information needed to make our special day as perfect as it could be! She was very helpful giving us advice and ideas from her past experiences. On the wedding day she was everywhere she needed to be yet hidden in the background, it didn't feel as if a camera was in your face all night. Yet, she captured every single moment! When my husband and I watched our final copy of our video we loved it! She did an amazing job!!!! The video captured the day and all the special and funny moments from beginning to end. Peri and Patrick did an excellent job of getting the footage needed to make a lasting memory of our wedding. We put them through the hoops by having a last minute change in venue due to weather and they made things work without a glitch. Contact with Peri never rendered a time where we wondered if we were going to hear from her in regards to our questions about her services, all the way through the final editing of our video. We definitely would use her services again and recommend her to anyone in the Monterey/Central California coast area.

Peri was great to work with and provided a quality product. My husband did not want a videographer for our wedding, but I talked him into it and he loves the video. Peri was great in creating a custom package for us and even stayed over so she could capture the late night reception fun. I would definitely recommend Big Time Video for your special day.

Peri and her team did a fabulous job at our Carmel wedding in August of 08. She was easy to work with from start to finish! During the actual day, she managed to get all the shots we could have ever wanted, without being invasive (most often we didn't even notice her and her crew at work). During the editing process, she did the work to find and incorporate several of the songs from the event. She also included a voice over of our vows. The final product is seem less (and made me cry). Best of all though, she seemed genuinely excited to participate in our day ! She even called me as soon as the video went on line to let me know!!!

Most of my guests didn't even notice I had a videographer at my wedding. Big Time's ability to blend into the background while still being able to capture magical moments of my wedding day blew me away. Big Time is more that just a company who comes in on the day of your wedding and gets footage of the first dance, cake cutting, etc. They get to know you on a personal level before your wedding day arrives in order to get inspired by your vision of your day. The end result is a video that you will cherish forever.

My wife is very happy with Peri's service, therefore I am happy :) Isn't that all that is supposed to matter? Peri was fine to deal with, did a professional job and we were very happy with the final product.
