Best Venue and Ownership!!

We loved everything about Big Sky, the owner Lesli Logston, and our overall experience! Lesli was a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process and made everything so easy. I cannot say enough good things about this venue and all of the staff. You won't go wrong booking here!!

Calm in the Storm

My husband and I were married at Big Sky on June 14. It's taken me over 3 weeks to even begin to process what an incredible blessing Big Sky and Lesli, its owner, have been to us.

In Januray, after lots of research and a few visits to venues, we decided to go with Big Sky and booked for June 14. We were amazed by the gorgeous view, the open air indoor/outdoor setting (weather permitting), and how hospitable Lesli was. Fast forwarded to March and COVID hit. April, May, and finally June were filled with changing requirements, lots of fears and anxieties, and endless questions. Lesli was truly an angel! She was supportive, helpful, and put no pressure on us to make a call about the wedding. It was truly our decision on our timeline. Ultimately, with declining COVID numbers at the time and with precautionary measures planned, my husband and I made the prayerful decision to limit our guest list but move ahead with the wedding. The day was truly amazing and immeasurably more than I could have imagined. We hired Lesli to be the coordinator for the day so it was all a blurry, well-facilitated dream. :) I truly turned all my worries over to her and she handled it all with grace and a smile.

There aren't enough words to thank Big Sky and Lesli for all they did to make such a challenging time as wonderful as it could have possibly been. I've heard horror stories about how venues have treated couples during this time so I will shout my recommendation from the rooftops! You will thank yourself for choosing Big Sky for your wedding.

Very helpful! Beautiful venue!

I coordinated a client's wedding that took place on 5/19/19 at the Big Sky Event Hall. The venue and staff were AMAZING! Lesli and her team were so helpful, kind, and friendly! The venue is gorgeous and everything was set up prior to us getting there which made "set up" so easy! I will definitely recommend this venue to my future clients!

The experience so far has felt so easy!

We haven’t even had our wedding. Been booked with Big Sky less then 2 weeks and Lesli + her assistants have been super helpful and prompt on communication. I’m so excited to have our wedding here!

A diamond in the rough

We loved having our wedding at big sky! All the girls are so wonderful and kind! Lesli is an absolute angel to work with and always there to answer questions, no matter how many you may have! This place is gorgeous, truly none like it!

Jill and Lesli were so awesome! My original venue shut down 3 months before my wedding and when I spoke to Lesli she was so nice and made me feel at ease about the situation. They were so accommodating when it came to scheduling a time to go see the venue. They even let us set up the day before which helped create a stress free wedding day because I was able to set things up myself. They have an ice machine which is a huge plus and a walk in freezer where I stored my flowers since I had them since the Thursday before the wedding. The place is so beautiful all my guest were so in love with it! We live an hour away and so do half of my guest but after they got there and saw how beautiful it was they did not complain about the drive. Thank you ladies!!! I will share photos as soon as I get them.

I love this venue its so beautiful for an outdoor or indoor wedding. I worked with Jill through email throughout my whole wedding process she assisted me with everything and was there on my big day as well. Jill is such a sweetheart and it was a pleasure working with her. The venue is so breathtaking it definately had the theme I was going for. The staff at Big Sky are all so helpful I am glad I choose this location for my wedding ceremony and reception

Lesli & her staff went above and BEYOND to make or special day!! Their attention to detail, promptness, professionalism, contact list, reativity, vision, and execution were what really makes their wedding planning service and venue absolutely priceless! They surpassed my expectations by a landslide and were so attentive as I traveled and made sure to help pull all the details together! Because of them, our wedding was a dream wedding and our guests were so complimentary of everything they set up including the incredibly helpful staff at Big Sky! To top it off, the venue is on a gorgeous plot of land, with a fountain pond, lots of space, numerous photo opportunities, and has the perfect combo of whimsical, magical, and country all in one. Tons of parking, perfect open concept indoors with a great flow around the room, nice bathroom, and spacious bridal/groom suites! We were so pleased with the turnout and would HIGHLY recommend Big Sky and their planning service to any couple!!

Not only was the staff amazing to work with, but the venue is gorgeous! We got wonderful pictures AND our guests got to have beautiful selfies as well ;) The sunset is breathtaking over the water! I would highly recommend this venue!

If you want an outdoorsy feel with gorgeous scenery then this is definitely the place to pick! Also, if you are looking for the biggest bang for your buck I would recommend this venue. You don't even have to have a rustic theme to make this venue work for you. Big Sky's set up is very accommodating that you can dress it up any way you like :)

I celebrated my wedding at Big Sky on April 23, 2016 and it was amazing. This location was so beautiful and feels private and sophisticated. Jill and Lesli were wonderful the entire year leading up to my wedding about responding to my questions and Lesli worked the day of my wedding and was great. Everyone talked about how pretty the place was. I loved the fact that you got the venue from 9am-midnight which is something that most places don't offer-plenty of time to get ready. The bridal/grooms suite are an extra bonus and the whole place has such great character. Definitely recommend!

Big Sky Event Hall is absolutely stunning and the owners are just amazing!! They are so flexible and down to earth and really let the day be "yours." They don't try to push something on you that you don't want and they are so willing to help with anything! They're customer service is great and they respond in no time. The day of my wedding ended up being freezing and sprinkled here and there, and they were so willing and ready to still make the wedding everything we wanted. My husband and I had such a great experience with them and I would recommend this venue to any other bride-to-be!

Big Sky Event Hall is the perfect rustic chic wedding venue. It sits on hundreds of acres of farmland that is so picturesque. The venue itself is spacious, simple but elegantly decorated, and they don't "nickle and dime" you for every little thing. SO much is included in the price of the venue, and you can bring in your own vendors (DJ, caterers, etc) and your own alcohol at no extra cost. Jill and Leslie, the day of event coordinators, are SO helpful and patient, and they make everything run so smoothly. If you are looking for a rustic chic barn venue, this place is perfect for you.

Leslie and Jill were incredible to work with! This was the first and ONLY venue my husband and I looked at. With their kindness, hospitality and professionalism we knew within 15 minutes we wanted this venue. They are so caring that you feel welcomed by family and not just a business service. Anyone is beyond luckily to snag this place and these amazing people!

We LOVED Big Sky Event Hall. It fit the two of us perfectly for the kind of wedding vibe we wanted, and the venue has everything you could ever want or need. Plus the place itself is beautiful; we did minimal decorating because it already looked amazing. Having the whole day to set up was great, and the fact that Jill and Lesli act as day-of coordinators meant that neither of us worried about anything on the big day. Jill managed all the vendors, timing, everything. We’re so glad we chose them, they were perfect for us.

We want to thank the girls at Big Sky for helping us make our reception so memorable. They were responsive and offered to help us prepare with whatever we needed. Their coordination on the day of was so valuable in helping us stay on time from start to finish. In the scenery of the venue makes for great photos. Our guests loved the inside and outside.

This venue is such a gem! Absolutely beautiful inside and out. Jill and Leslie are so sweet, very helpful, and made planning a wedding there easy and fun! I absolutely recommend this venue!!

Just a heads up- the bridal suite got hot fast. They have an AC unit and added an additional fan to help, but it was still very hot (summer wedding) with lots of bridesmaids and curling irons and people inside and out constantly. We still made it work and they did what they could to try and make it cooler for us.

Big Sky Event Hall is the complete package this venue not only is gorgeous but Leslie, Jill and David are amazing to work with. As soon as i saw a picture of big sky i knew it was the perfect place for my wedding i love the country feel but it also has a nice rustic elegance to it as well. Our wedding turned out to be everything and more than i ever thought it would be.

Not only is this venue the perfect location for a rustic setting the coordinators alone are worth it! Lesli and Jill are helpful with ideas for your event plus are super flexible to your needs and will go above and beyond to help with anything that you want to become possible for your big day! They become your friend during the process and try to take off as much stress as they can during the planning process! The location and venue are perfect for a small or larger event and has all the accommodations you could need without having to go elsewhere!

My wedding at Big Sky Event Hall could not have gone smoother. Leslie and her team made the day of my wedding so easy on me. Throughout the year of my engagement Leslie kept up with me talking to me all of the time letting me know she was there and had many ideas to help out if needed. My mother and mother in law would come up there to the venue as often as we could to go visit and look at things and Leslie was totally fine with us doing that :). I had a very large wedding, around 250 people, possibly more trickled in due to my husband's very large family. I had a mini melt down when my daughter (3 yr old, flowergirl) through a temper tantrum and ended up falling asleep right before the ceremony started. Leslie was quick to help me through it and get my mind back on track. All in all I had the most amazingly beautiful wedding. I don't think it could have been better!! Thank you Leslie and the team for letting me celebrate this wonderful part of my life at ya'll's event hall IT WAS A BLAST!!!

Leslie is AWESOME!!! I cannot say enough nice things about her and the venue! She was patient with the 1000 or so questions that I had over the months before the big day, and did everything in her control to make the day perfect for my daughter and her husband. It rained unfortunately, but she had all the back up plans ready for us, and the ceremony was just perfect in the thunderstorm under the patio! She is professional, but down to earth, and that is the part I LOVED! The venue is gorgeous with the pond and fountain, and the indoor part is beautiful for the meal. Tasteful decorations and tons of options. Make sure you check them out when you are searching for your location!

This venue is perfect for a Texas chic wedding. We luckily got a beautiful, sunny day so we were able to have tables and chairs outside and roll up all the garage windows. We put cocktail tables near the lake and had the dance floor outside. Not only are Jill and Lesli completely professional and organized, they are fun and were excited for my wedding. They are sure to have every detail in place for the big day. Also, they allow you to have the FULL day (starting at 9am) so set up is not stressful and you can sip champagne and get ready with the girls in the bridal suite! Finally, they allow you to choose any caterer and roll in your own alcohol so you save a lot of money this way! My guests and family are still talking about how breathtaking my wedding reception was. The photos turned out perfect and it was a flawless, once in a lifetime experience. I highly recommend this venue … you will not be disappointed! I also recommend using Soulman's BBQ for catering!!

This venue has it all! It has the country vibe and is located far enough from the big city to not hear cars bustling in the background, but it has a classy elegance to it that makes it the perfect venue for any bride. My wedding in November was a dream come true and so many people remarked on the beauty of the venue.
With an outdoor ceremony overlooking a beautiful pond to an indoor reception area with a full bar and gorgeous lighting, the venue will take your breath away. They have a margarita machine on site and decorations which you can choose to use at no extra cost. They also have tablecloths in every color for no extra cost.
Lesli and Jill were a delight to work with and were easy to get in contact with throughout the wedding planning process. They took care of a lot of the little details on the wedding day and truly seemed to care about my big day.
Oh and there is a Holiday Inn Express located less than 10 minutes away for which all your guests can stay and not drink and drive home.
This place is perfect. Book it. You won't regret it.

Could not have been better! Leslie was attentive to our every need. So were her employees. The event hall was beautiful. The setting outside around the lake and rolling hills was beautiful. I think she even ordered up the weather!

This is the most beautiful place in the DFW area for a wedding...or any event...and, you "can not" beat the price for such beauty. Leslie lived up to her word on our agreement and Jill fulfilled all of our expectations of the wedding ceremony and reception for my daughter and now, son-in-law. All of the property is very well kept and the water level of the pond/lake stayed full even during the drought when other lake levels are low or drying up.

Big Sky Event Hall provided a beautiful venue for my daughters wedding. Lesli and her staff went above and beyond the call of duty and were very professional, accommodating and caring.
On the day of the wedding as I entered into the venue I was awestruck at all the details that were in place to make it a magical day.

This is a beautiful 225 acre ranch that is a perfect location for a wedding. Their fully equipped building has one entire side of it with fire-station type of glass doors. They retract up to the ceiling and provide an unobstructed view of the out door areas and rolling landscape which has roaming livestock way up on the horizon line. It is just lovely! The staff is experienced in the wedding industry with backgrounds in photography, food and the floral industries. In addition, they have a wonderful relationship with their support vendors which they provided to you or you can use your own. We loved having our daughter's wedding there and highly recommend Big Sky Event Hall for your families special event.

Big Sky was so beautiful and we are so glad we had our wedding there! I LOVE the bridal suite, getting ready there and having that space was so nice. Lesli was our photographer as well and she made us feel so comfortable throughout the whole process and I could always ask her anything. If I could do it over I would still choose Big Sky and wouldn't change a thing!!

Both of the girls that run this facility have been helpful in answering questions any time I have them to allowing me to come out 3 separate times in one week. Extremely helpful and responsive to my questions and needs.

As the groom, I really enjoyed the place and mostly the pond! My wife really loved everything and we felt comfortable and right at home the entire time!

Lesli and her crew were AMAZING! Completely professional and catered to our every need! Lesli and Jill were awesome communicators and were always available through call, text or email. I really couldn't have planned a better wedding with out them. We had a blast and our guest did too!

I absolutely loved Big Sky Event Hall. Both Leslie and Jill were extremely helpful throughout the entire process. They did a great job of making themselves available anytime I had questions or concerns. They were very flexible with the time that we used the venue; they let me come decorate on Wednesday! They also let me have my rehearsal at the venue the night before (Friday - again, since it wasn't booked).

The Venue itself is AMAZINGLY gorgeous. It is very secluded with the perfect scenery for any type of wedding. The pond behind the ceremony was gorgeous and the acres upon acres of untouched "country" was a perfect backdrop for pictures. Even though the ceremony was outside in JULY, and half of the guests were seated outside at the reception, the air conditioning billowing out from the indoors made it very nice. Most of my guests migrated to the outside patios. The lights are just perfect outside.

They also have TONS of BEAUTIFUL decor that they let you use including chandeliers in the trees outside. They have wood centerpieces, professionally arranged silk flowers in birch boxes and mercury glass vases. The chairs are very nice, sturdy wooden chairs. They have white linens with a gorgeous champagne satin overlay that goes perfectly with the venue. They offered us the use of a margarita machine and a soft-serve ice cream with all of the containers to put the topping in, and that was a hit! There's plenty of room for all your vendors!

The bridal sweet is ADORABLE and is a perfect background for all of the "getting ready" pictures. The Grooms suite is very clean and masculine, and they have CABLE, so they can watch football while the girls get pretty.

Big Sky was the perfect place for our meeting. There was plenty of room, people could walk around and visit as well as see new products.

Seating was made appropriate for our needs for our presentation.

The Venue was clean and ready for us to set up,
I would definitely use Big Sky again, not only for business but personal use as well.

Lesli and her staff were AMAZING! Couldn't have asked for a more relaxing or laid back atmosphere or group of people for my big day. I would do it all over again at Big Sky-hands down!

Big Sky has a gorgeous setting and the perfect venue for us! A country feel with a little elegance. The staff was extremely helpful and we couldn't have asked for friendlier people to work with. Thank you Lesli and Jill! Along with all your staff!

Big Sky Event Hall was the perfect place for our event! Great, hard-working staff that went above & beyond for us. Great indoor/outdoor setting with plenty of space for a large event. Big Sky is the perfect venue for your rustic wedding. With the venue being spacious both outside and in, having amazing views and having full use of the bar and kitchen; it fit right in with what my daughter wanted for her special day. Lesli, our coordinator, was very professional and flexible and so very helpful in pulling together what we needed. The value is exceptional. Big Sky has it all right there for 1 rate with no extra expense renting tables, chairs, etc. Working with the coordinators and crew at Big Sky made it so easy on us. Whatever we needed, they made it happen and I would highly recommend Big Sky for anything worth celebrating!

Lesli is amazing! We had to plan our wedding in such a short notice and Lesli went above an beyond to make It happen for us! Everyone at big sky event hall did an amazing job setting everything up and helping us get organized. Our wedding turned out so beautiful thanks to them and all there hard work!! Big Sky is a very beautiful location. Our wedding was by their pond at sunset. Then the reception was held indoors with huge open doors to the outside. It was absolutely gorgeous! The staff was very helpful from start to finish--professional yet very down to earth and fun to work with. We are very happy with our experience!

I absolutely loved my wedding! And I'm more than glad and blessed to have found Big Sky. This venue is beautiful! The picture in front of the lake came out to be so awesome and the guest enjoyed having so much space to walk around, hang out, and take pictures. I honestly had no stress when it came to planning things about the venue. The coordinators were always available to talk to me, reply to my email, let me go see the venue to take picture or just to dream about the big day. This venue has a lot to offer within the price of the actual place and then some add-on rentals that are great too. The wedding day turned out to be so awesome! They let me hang more lighting outside to have it the way I want it. They also allowed me to have my semi-circle ceremony chair arrangements even though that meant for their staff having to learn to do it and put in some extra work to make it fit. The day went awesome! My only complain would be (and I'm sad that I found out a week after the wedding) that my family and bridal party were rushed to clear the bridal room and take our stuff out during the rental time that we had agree. This made me sad because my family and bridesmaids missed part of the wedding action because they had to do that. Besides that, it all went great. I definitely recommend this venue to others!!!!!

Big Sky Event Hall is a beautiful venue for weddings, receptions and just good ole big parties. They are open and flexible to your needs: my husband proposed there and it was a complete surprise and upon arrival not event a hint of what was to come was make known from those working there- such a sweet moment. Throughout my engagement I received quick responses to my emails and the owners were always willing for me to drop by and ask my dozens of questions, play around with decor, or just get a better feel of the reception room. They had great suggestions on vendors but was open to new ones which allowed my wedding to be specific and special to my husband and me. The amenities that they offer is such a huge blessing and a rare perk in the industry. They do offer day of coordination services which was peace of mind to me yet I would probably ask an outside rep to do so in the future because I didn't feel adequately prepared with the information that they needed the day of the wedding. Overall, it was a stunning and amazing day of which I am thankful that Big Sky Event Hall was apart of.
