Christine was absolutely amazing! She handled myself and 11 other women on her own and I was never pressed for time! Everyone's hair came out stunning! They each requested their own styles and Christine nailed it each time! I was a nervous wreck on my wedding day and her calm demeanor really made me feel relaxed. She was professional, kind and a pleasure to be around! I could not be happier with the way my hair turned out and would definitely recommend her to anyone who asks! I should also point out that my hair stayed in place throughout the entire day and late into the night! Thank you Christine, for your help making my wedding day perfect!

Couldn't have asked for a better hair/makeup stylist!

Christine was amazing. She was quick to respond and so easy to work with. She was able to work with a variety of different types of hair and she did an amazing job with makeup as well! This was my mother's first time getting her hair and makeup professionally done and she made her feel so special. I felt like such a beautiful bride and I would recommend her to anyone looking for someone to do both hair and makeup! I cannot thank you enough for your accommodation and kindness. You have the ability to really elevate an already special day and you did just that, so thank you!

Christine is an absolute gem and rockstar!
She and Ashely did an amazing job! Everyone loved their hair and makeup. It looked so gorgeous!! I loved that each bridesmaid was able to choose her own look and everything came out flawlessly. We all loved the end results! Everyone looked so beautiful. Thank you Christine!

Amazing hair and makeup!

Christine and Ashley at Big Day Beauty were phenomenal to work with. They were easy going and flexible and were so accommodating to last minute changes and additions. They worked efficiently without sacrificing quality and were able to do every hair and makeup style requested. All of my bridesmaids also appreciated that for both hair and makeup each bridesmaid was able to go look at their hair/makeup and let Christine and Ashley know if they wanted any adjustments before they wrapped up. Christine and Ashley are so sweet and made the getting ready process so much fun, and everyone gelt beautiful with looks that lasted all day. My hair even made it through a windy ceremony without budging!

Highly, highly recommend!

Christine from Big Day Beauty is AMAZING. She did a phenomenal job for me and my bridal party - several of my bridesmaids commented that they had never had such a great experience getting their hair professionally done. I was so happy with the hair and make up that Christine did for me - I felt completely like myself in the very best way. She did my make up exactly as I asked (I wanted to look natural, just a bit more elevated, and she nailed it) and she did WONDERS with my super thin hair. Not to mention, she was incredibly efficient! She drove up to our venue (an hour from her salon), arrived early, and finished everyone well ahead of schedule. Highly, highly recommend!!

Beyond thankful to have chosen Big Day Beauty

I am so beyond happy I went with Big Day Beauty for my wedding day. Chrissy Libby did 9 different hair-dos between 7am and noon; each one coming out flawless, while Ashely did makeup that came out absolutely stunning. They were extremely nice, patient, flexible, professional and overall the best experience I could've asked for me and my girls to have. I couldn't have imagined using anyone else for that day!!

Amazing Wedding Hair and Make-Up!

I highly recommend Big Day Beauty for bridal and bridesmaids hair and make-up!! I did numerous trials with other professionals in the area, and Big Day Beauty gave me that natural yet elegant look I was going for. The day of, Christine looked at a couple of inspiration photos and created beautiful up-dos and curled styles for all of my bridesmaids that lasted through a humid summer day/night. My bridal updo was exactly how I described and did not move the entire day. Ashely did a fantastic job on everyone’s make-up, including the mother of the bride. She prepped our skin before applying products and all of our make-up lasted through the after party. Both Christine and Ashley listened to our hair and skin insecurities and ensured that we all felt confident and beautiful with how we looked. We had a great time getting ready with them and it was clear that they are very passionate about what they do!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Christine and Big Day Beauty! We had a large bridal party and not only did we all look and feel great but we were also ready AHEAD of schedule! She was polite, professional and FUN and she had wonderful ideas and suggestions to help us all look and feel our best! I highly recommend her!:)

We LOVED working with Chrissy! She showed up to the middle of no where Maine, at 7 am and was so energetic, professional and happy! One of my bridesmaids wanted to be her new best friend and begged her to stay later! She did hair for 4 bridesmaids, the bride, and a flower girl and make up for the bride and a bridesmaids in a matter of a few hours. She was so accommodating and a pleasure to work with! Everyone looked natural and amazing! Thank you!!!

Chrissy was amazing! She came and tactile my whole wedding parties makeup with time to spare. Everyone raves about their makeup. I would definitely recommend hiring her for any event you need a professional makeup artist!

Christine from Big Day Beauty did a phenomenal job for the hair and makeup of my wedding party and was an absolute pleasure to work with her throughout the entire process. I did my hair and makeup trial about 2 months before my wedding day, and Christine was able to replicate the look from the trial on the actual day-of, perfectly. When she finished my hair and make-up, and I looked in the mirror, I felt so beautiful and confident. On the day of (4/21/18), Christine was prompt on her arrival and then extremely efficient at keeping all of the bridesmaids on a strict schedule to be ready in time for pictures. She was also very fun to be around and kept all of the bridal party relaxed while we got ready to shine. Best of all, everyone’s updo and makeup stayed on through the entire day and did not smudge or fade at all.

I can't say enough good things about Christine. She was an amazing hair and makeup professional who really made getting ready a relaxing part of the day. With little to no direction (sorry Christine) she was able to create a natural makeup look with a loose up-do that I absolutely loved. She also got along very well with the entire bridal party - it was like having another bridesmaid! I've never had professional makeup done before, so I really appreciated her explaining everything to me, as well as providing instructions along the way. I've already recommended her to 3 other people who are getting married!

Christine was AMAZING. She did mine, my 2 bridesmaids and my mom's hair and make-up for my wedding day and everything could not have come out better! I had a hairstyle in my mind that just wasn't coming out how I had pictured, Christine worked her magic and I could not have imagined it coming out any better. My mom was so hesitant about getting her make-up done, (just because she never has had it done before), and she ended up loving what Christine did! I have been friends with Chrissy for three years. Ever since we met she has been my stylist for my regular cuts and color. She does an amazing job, so there was no question that when I got engaged she would be doing my hair and make up at my wedding. She took the picture I had in my head and made it a reality! I could not have felt more elegant or beautiful on my wedding day and I owe a lot of that to her!

Big Day Beauty is absolutely fantastic! I have worked with them as a bridesmaid and, most recently, as a bride. I have never been disappointed and they have always exceeded my expectations! Their price is extremely reasonable compared to a lot of other vendors in the area, especially when you consider how amazing their work is. Christine and Ashley are extremely flexible- I added a flower crown somewhat last minute to my hair and Christine was able to completely see my vision and execute flawlessly! Their makeup is extremely natural and light-feeling. Most of all, they are so nice to work with- extremely kind, friendly, and down-to-earth.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Christine and Kayla. Christine was patient, responsive, and a terrific problem-solver as I planned my (relatively quick) Maine wedding from out of state. She matched me up with an excellent hair stylist (Angie Adams) and Kayla stepped in to do a super job with makeup. I absolutely (and enthusiastically!) recommend Big Day Beauty.

I couldn’t be happier with Christine and Big Day Beauty! They were so easy to work with and very accommodating to me and my bridesmaids. Every one looked fantastic and loved their hair and make-up. One of my bridesmaids originally was not going to get her make-up done but after seeing everyone else’s asked if she could. Christine and her partner were so flexible and were able to get everyones hair and make-up done with plenty of time to spare for mine. I loved the way my hair came out and my make-up was perfect all night long, even through the after party! Having them come to the hotel was so great too because the girls could come and go as they needed (I had a few new moms in my bridal party) and it made the schedule run so smoothly. Big Day Beauty was wonderful to work with! They were perfect for my bridal party's hair and makeup needs! They were excellent with all lengths of hair, as well as skin tones and type. Big Day Beauty showed up prepared and on time while acting professional and friendly. Christine and crew traveled over 3 hours for our wedding and I'm so glad they did!! I am not one to wear lots of makeup/get all dolled up, so I asked Christine for loose waves and a natural look. It turned out so much it better than I could have hoped for! I was also nervous about wearing lashes for the first time and I am so glad that I did because they really made all the difference in pictures. The overall experience was relaxed, fun, and professional. I would absolutely recommend Big Day Beauty! If only she lived in Philadelphia- I would call her before every major event! :)

Christine did my hair and my bridesmaid's hair and her associate Ashley did our makeup/eyelashes. they did an absolutely incredible job! Working with Christine was easy, she understood what I was looking for and was very responsive to my emails! I trusted her and Ashley 100% on the day of the wedding. I am so happy that I found Christine and Big Day Beauty for my wedding. Christine and her partner powered through 7 bridesmaids (all of whom chose different styles and were happy with the results) before doing my hair and makeup. My hair turned out exactly as I had hoped and I had so many compliments on it. And most importantly, Christine delivered makeup which not only looked flawless all day and night, but also had the natural look I wanted. And for those bridesmaids who wanted a "glam" look with lashes - they got it! The whole process of Big Day Beauty coming right to your hotel made the day as easy as possible, and both ladies were upbeat and happy to chat with us through the day. Christine did hair for me, my three bridesmaids, and my mother and my make up for my wedding. Everything was perfect. She arrived right on time, and everyone was ready with plenty of time to spare before the wedding. And on top of that, everyone looked great. I loved my hair and make up, and it looked just as good at the end of the night as it did right when Christine finished!

I had such a great experience working with Christine for my Wedding on 10/15/2014. It was a small, destination elopement and Christine made the process so easy. She was extremely attentive to email and communication with her was a breeze. She even traveled all the way to my hotel to do just my hair and makeup (I didn't have any bridesmaids)--something that I had been worried about. She even found a way to make my bangs last (and not wilt) through the humid Maine weather--something I can never achieve! I highly recommend Christine and Big Day Beauty.

Christine did my hair and makeup for my 4/19/14 wedding, and I absolutely loved working with her. She made some excellent recommendations for both hair and makeup, and I'm especially glad that I had her do the airbrush makeup and fake eyelashes. They both lasted through the ceremony, reception, dancing, and even beyond our late night festivities. I felt so incredibly beautiful thanks to Christine, and would definitely recommend Big Day Beauty to any bride-to-be.

Christine did hair and makeup for me and my 2 bridesmaids. She was very patient and professional and was very responsive to feedback and questions during the process. Before the wedding, she was easy to communicate with via email. She was timely and efficient. Her rates were reasonable. I picked Christine mostly because she traveled to us- I loved not having to go anywhere on the day of the wedding- and she did a great job!

Christine at Big Day Beauty did an amazing job on my makeup, my bridesmaid hair and makeup and my mothers makeup. Christine was willing to travel to Portland to meet us, she was more than prepared and finished our makeup/hair in less time than predicted. She was professional, polite and willing to give her honest opinion on what looked best. Christine did a beautiful job on my hair & my wedding party's hair for our May 3rd Wedding!! I actually ended up changing my hair style after we did the Trial Run & Christine did a perfect job without ever practicing it on me! Christine was wonderful. I received an initial response very quickly after my initial contact to check availability. she was very enthusiastic and excited about the wedding and wanted to know details. Christine was very professional yet fun to work with and easy to talk to. she was quite flexible for hair and makeup trials before the big day. Christine and her staff were great! all of my bridesmaids looked fantastic very fresh and natural looking, with really cool hair styles. i would def recommend Christine for your wedding day beauty needs !

Christine and Ashley were incredible. Christine is the owner of Big Day Beauty, and she brought Ashley along with her to do makeup for me and my girls because we didn't have a ton of time to get ready and there were 7 of us. They showed up to the hotel perfectly on time, and brought everything they would possibly need to get all of us ready in time for my wedding. I couldn't have asked for a better outcome. My hair was exactly what I asked for, everyone else loved theirs, and those who had makeup done were thrilled with that as well. Christine is great to do business with, and very convenient and flexible. She came to us at the hotel, and is credit card equipped on her phone. I don't think there's anything I would change about their services, and I would definitely recommend them to any brides looking to have their hair and makeup done on their wedding day!

Christine and her assistant did an AWESOME job on my hair (bride), my bridesmaids, and my mother. Everyone absolutely loved their hair! Christine came to the hotel where I was staying so that I would not have to worry about driving to and from a salon and being on time. She came to me -- and that helped make my day stress free. I don't live in the state of Maine so I never had a trial done with my hair. I sent Christine pictures of what I thought I would like. On the day of my wedding she did my hair EXACTLY how I wanted. And my makeup looked amazing. Christine's assistant did my mother and bridesmaids hair. None of them knew what they really wanted -- she was able to give them all something they loved! Everyone was complimenting my hair and makeup and how gorgeous I looked. A big thanks to Christine and her assistant! I couldn't have been happier with the way everything turned out! Christine and her team were wonderful! They were friendly, but professional and made my hair as well as my 8 bridesmaids' hair look gorgeous. They also did my make-up (something I had initially thought I'd do myself, but got too nervous to do at the last minute), and it looked perfect. I had every bridesmaid choose her own hair style and Christine was able to accommodate their various choices effortlessly. Her prices couldn't be beat either!

Christine was AMAZING. From my 2 trials before the wedding to my actual event she was the best. I had tried out a few other hair stylists for my wedding prior to Christine, but could never find anyone I liked. From the first time I met Christine she was very professional. On my wedding day her and her other partner did my hair, 6 of my bridesmaids, 2 of my sister in laws and my mothers hair and makeup. They also did eyelashes for all of us. My hair and makeup looked fabulous. I am still getting compliments. My bridesmaids loved how everything turned out as well. I would HIGHLY recommend Christine and Big Day Beauty for your next event. They will make the day extra perfect. I cannot say enough good things!!!! She even drove 3 hours to my event with no problems! You will not be disappointed!!!!!!

Christine did my hair and make up, as well as my 6 bridemaids' hair and make up, on the day of my wedding. She and the other hair and make up artists were wonderful. We all loved how our hair and make up turned out. I met with Christine for a hair and make up trial a few weeks before the wedding. I couldn't make up my mind as to what I wanted, so I met with her again for a 2nd make up trial. Christine was great and very accommodating. She listened to what I wanted and I could not be more pleased with how I looked on my wedding day.

It was a complete pleasure to work with Christine and Big Day Beauty. From the very first email, she was extremely pleasant, organized, and amazing. I and all the bridesmaids received so many compliments on our hair and feel extremely fortunate to have worked with her and her assistant. She is an extremely talented stylist and her professionalism and easy going demeanor were such an asset.

She called in advance before arriving and kept to the schedule. Upon arriving, she arranged a work space and got straight to working. We had sent her pictures in advance of the hair styles we preferred and she had them handy and mirrored them picture perfect!

It was such a fantastic experience to work with Big Day Beauty on such a very special day.

Christine was the best possible choice to do the hair for the wedding. She was super flexible, knowledgeable and reasonably priced. Christine and her partner were absolutely fabulous!
The morning of my wedding, my maid-of-honor woke up with green hair! I called Christine an hour before they were suppose to arrive, let her know our crisis, and they arrived with everything needed to fix the problem! My maid-of-honor's hair came out perfect, as did all of my wedding party's and my own!

Christine did an amazing job with my hair and makeup. She exceeded my expectations. She took time and made me feel special on my special day! I had a fantastic experience with Christine on my wedding day! My hair and makeup were perfect. I looked like "the best version of myself" and not like a different person. She was lovely to work with and very professional. The makeup artist that accompanied her did a nice job on makeup for my bridesmaids. What fun we had with our day!
These ladies brought EVERYTHING and were afraid to tackle ANYTHING. Really, not only great hair and makeup, but great level of comfort as well! The hair designs in the wedding party ranged from simple elegance to complex and constructed. The weather in the morning was wet- and they managed to make hair do impossible things on a damp day. Christine and her assistant provided hair and makeup services for my bridesmaids and I for my wedding. Hair was awesome! I was an out of town bride so Christine accommodated a hair trial the week of. I even messed up the time and she still fit me in. Day of she did a WONDERFUL job with everyones hair (bride, three bridesmaids, and flowergirl). Everyone was extremely happy with it.
Her assistant did makeup for everyone and to be honest it was just OK. I probably could have done it better myself (with the exception of the eyelashes). If I could go back and do it again I would definitely have had Christine do my makeup herself.

Christine with Big Day Beauty was wonderful to work with while preparing for my wedding! During our "hair and makeup trial" she absolutely nailed the look I was going for, and we were able to discuss small changes to make for the wedding day! This made for a lot less stress going into the wedding day, because I already knew I LOVED my hair and makeup! On the day of the wedding she and a second stylist were there to do hair and makeup for me, all 6 of my bridesmaids, and my mom! Everyone looked amazing and we were all so happy with the results! Great service from these ladies! Christine was able to add on extra girls last minute which was a huge relief so we didnt have to wake up at like 5 am. I was very anxious about what I was going to do with my hair but Christine found the perfect style. The whole group was very kind and professional and I would definitely recommend them to any bridal party. Christine was a bit difficult to contact in the beginning, but just stick around because once she contacts you she will be very attentive. Thanks Big Day Beauty!!

Christine and Ashley traveled to the coast to do my hair and makeup for my wedding day, as well as the hair and makeup of a few other ladies. They arrived promptly, got right down to work and finished within the time quoted. My hair stayed all day and despite a fairly hot day, my makeup did too. Christine always responded to my questions via email within a few days and I thought her prices were fair. I would recommend Christine and her staff.

Christine did a great job on my hair and my wedding party as well. On the other hand, brought someone with her to assist with make up who seemed to know NOTHING about make up. Horrible job on everything! The lady did not even use coverage or eyeliner on us, forget about lipstick! Everybody was upset and we all had to redo our make up on my wedding day. I asked for a basic up eyeliner (wings) and the lady could not do it. She ended up irritating my skin around my eyes and not performing the service because she did not know how to make the "wings" on my eyes... very upsetting! If you are looking for a professional, you have found one. Just make sure Christine does both hair and make up. She rocks!!!

Christine was a bit slow to communicate at first, but was 100 times more communicative than all of the other many hair/makeup stylists I reached out to for my small wedding request (hair/makeup for bride, makeup for three others). Christine was very flexible in meeting for a trial and made my inspiration photos into reality. My overall look on the big day was spot-on to what I desired. The only con I can offer is that at my trial Christine used airbrush makeup and I fell in love. On the wedding day, she did not appear to have any of that with her, so she used standard makeup. As I expected with standard makeup, I was a ghost face by the end (but at least it was the END) of the evening!

I picked Christine for my hair and makeup after making two trips from New York to Maine to do consults with her. We had my "look" down and I was very happy with it, and I signed a contract with her that stated her name specifically as the stylist for my wedding.

Two weeks before my wedding we are emailing back and forth about her arrival times, and in the midst of this she casually mentions that she won't actually be there but someone else will be. Now, had Christine contacted me and told me directly that she couldn't make it for a personal reason- that would have been totally fine, I understand that things come up. But to replace herself with some other stylists without consulting me, is not at all okay. I found this very unprofessional.

She did offer to refund my money, which was good, but at that point it was too close to the date, plus I live 8 hours away. The girls she sent did do a good job, and my bridesmaids were particularly happy with their makeup. My "look" was done professionally, and looked pretty. But it wasn't the look that Christine and I had worked out, and I am disappointed.

I would recommend her team overall, but I think she should be more forthright.
