BHLDN helped us find the perfect dresses for 6 bridesmaids and a bride. They were always professional, creative, patient and helpful. Their dresses and other items are beautiful and reasonably priced. We made several returns/exchanges, and there were never any problems. I would highly recommend BHLDN. -

We had tried on dresses at all price points, but all of them were too lacy, puffy, or flowery for our tastes (seems like the higher the price point the more lace people use)
The Elinor dress was the second dress I tried and our favorite. It was perfect as a size 2, and fyi for tall women out there it’s just the right length for me at 6”1’. It did not need ANY alterations, which was very nice.
It was also so so under our budget I didn’t have to worry about keeping it pristine on the wedding day or preserving it for posterity or even dry cleaning it afterwards, because it will get hemmed and altered into a summer maxi dress. Unlike other wedding dresses, it really is a plausible addition to a summer every day wardrobe! Highly recommend, their hairpieces are lovely and practical as well. -

I went to David's Bridal for my first dress shopping experience, and all the dresses just felt like heavy costumes to me. I wanted something a bit more modern and fresh and light so that I could easily dance all night in my dress. While still having a touch of romantic vintage feel to the dress. The Willowby by Watters Geranium Gown was the perfect fit! As soon as I tried it on I knew. I still tried on 6 other dresses just to make sure (and they would have all been fantastic). -

I love Anthropologie's Bhldn for wedding dresses. I found a dress I loved on our first day, but then a week later changed my mind. I was able to return the first dress no problem. Then a week later I realized my second dress may be too big, they let me try it on again and return that one as well for a smaller size. So I finally got the perfect dress in the perfect size with a gorgeous cathedral veil and detachable train all with wonderful customer service!! -

I highly recommend BHLDN for wedding dress shopping. My mother, friend, and I went here on a Saturday during COVID. The store was very focused on keeping all safe, masked, and distanced.
The selection of dresses is gorgeous, and the ready-to-wear styles make it easy to envision a dress that actually fits you. The dresses are also clearly made to be enjoyed, danced in, and comfortable.
Most importantly, my stylist Olivia was fantastic. I felt completely at ease, and trusted her. I have been dress shopping now at 4 stores total, and Olivia provided us the most fun and down-to-earth experience. She completely understood my style, my wedding vision, and was attentive to my mom's questions. Given Olivia's background as a seamstress, she also was able to clearly explain the possibilities of dresses through tailoring. Olivia even made a point to ask me about my fiancé, helping to ground the experience in what it truly is about - LOVE! I feel very grateful to have met and worked with Olivia, and feel very confident about my future purchase from BHLDN for a wedding dress. -

Love bhldn
From the first time dress shopping to putting on my dress on my wedding day I was in love with BHLDN and my experience. The dress shopping experience they create is absolutely amazing, fun, and exactly what it should be. I bought my dress and had to return and get a different size which was incredibly easy. The dresses ship soo quickly which is very nice. I got all my bridesmaid dresses from BHLDN as well, and got multiple compliments on both my dress and theirs. -

I said yes to the dress at BHLDN last weekend and I cannot speak highly enough of my experience. The space itself is open, filled with light, and has lots of room for you and your friends/family to spread out and browse the dresses. We were immediately offered water/wine, setting the tone for a fun-filled hour. The two women who assisted me, LE and Laura, were both bubbly and kind, making sure I felt very comfortable as they helped me in and out of gowns in the dressing room. I had come into my appointment worried I wouldn’t feel beautiful in anything I tried on (I wear a street size 12). Instead, I felt great in every dress. LE and Laura were incredibly affirming and did a great job clipping the dresses (when necessary) so I got a good sense of what they would look like when tailored to me. I was in love with the first dress I tried on, which I revisited at the end of the appointment when I had ruled out other options. They brought out the perfect accessories to help me complete the look (a tiara and sparkly belt). Though I was 99% sure on the dress, I had an appointment at a different salon that afternoon and didn’t want to buy without doing my due diligence. They didn’t pressure me to buy at all (and in fact, didn’t do so at any point during my appointment). Instead they told me they wanted me to be 100%. I took pictures as if I’d found the dress and told them I was likely to call back/come back in a few hours to finalize my order—which I did! After a lackluster appointment at a very well-known bridal store just a mile south of BHLDN midtown, I was settled on being a BHLDN Bride. I went back to the store to place my order, and the staff brought out another round of drinks to celebrate. Both LE and Laura took a quick second from their current appointments to congratulate me. It was incredible customer service from start to finish and I am so thankful they made sure I had a wonderful day with my mom, two sisters, and best friend from college (who had flown in from Ohio). For them it’s a job they do everyday, but for the women shopping it’s a (hopefully) once in a lifetime experience and they went above and beyond to make me feel special. Thank you BHLDN—can’t wait to walk down the aisle in my dress this August! -

BHLDN is so wonderful and I'm so happy I got my dress from here.
I went to the store in Devon, PA and worked with Amara. She was the sweetest and most wonderful person.
I had previously bought a dress online that was okay and super cheap in terms of price, but I wasn't in love with it. After having a mini-meltdown with less than three months to go, I booked an appointment at BHLDN and oh my gosh am I so happy I did.
They had most of the dresses I had seen online that I was interested in trying on and others I hadn't. Amara was so kind and listened to all of my concerns and what I wanted in a dress. She pulled the ones I wanted and some that I hadn't thought of and weren't sure would work for me. I had always envisioned myself as a plain column kind of gal, but lo and behold she pulled a classic, timeless ballgown and it was PERFECT. As soon as I put it on I felt like a princess and finally felt like a bride. I had mentioned that I wanted to wear a black denim jacket with my dress and she grabbed one from Anthro downstairs to try with the dress.
The dress shipped to me in a day and some basic alterations fit me exactly as it had in the store. I really cannot say enough wonderful things about Amara and BHLDN, truly a dream to work with. -

Beautiful Bridesmaid Dresses!
We used BHLDN for our bridesmaid dresses. I loved that they had such a wide variety of dresses in the blush/burnt pink color that I was looking for and the dresses looked really beautiful together. The try on experience was better than any other bridesmaid store I've been to! They brought out mini champagne and we had the whole dressing area to ourselves. My girls all had the ability to order their dresses online AND they allow returns, so they could buy multiple sizes. Definitely recommend! -

This is for the location in Chestnut Hill in Boston, MA. Paris helped me the day of my appointment. She picked out about six dresses for me to try and even had suggestions too. I ended up trying on my favorite one twice and knew it was the one. The salon is small, but beautiful and I was able to bring my mom, MIL and MOH with me. The dress is gorgeous and I felt amazing on my wedding day. -

For my wedding I originally went to David's Bridal because it was a quick option for me. I found the best dress I possibly could there but it definitely wasn't "the one"! When my husband proposed in Philadelphia, we went into Anthropology and I discovered BHLDN and fell in love instantly, but unfortunately forgot about it when it came time to buy my dress. After purchasing the David's dress, something hit me and I remembered BHLDN. I went in a week later, tried on the one and only Jillian Gown, ordered it, and left (this was about two months before my wedding date). It came in the mail a week later and was even more perfect in person! I am SO happy I listened to my gut and spent the extra money. Everyone loved it, I felt so beautiful, and it was a dream to wear! Everyone at BHLDN was so helpful and encouraging as well. Thank you ladies! -

The perfect wedding dress consultation
I had been to two other dress stores to try on dresses. One was a big name, and the dresses were okay, and made me feel itchy. The other was nice but out of my price range.
Then came Bhldn. I am not the biggest girly-girl, but when it came to my wedding I felt like a princess trying on dresses here. It was that experience that I think everyone dreams of. The consultants were so kind and helpful in trying on dresses. You can let them know ahead of time what dresses you would like to try, so that they can pull them ahead. I tried on 6 I think, and the second one that I tried on was the one. It was perfect, and within my price range! They also had free shipping since I bought it in the store, and the dress arrived within like 2 weeks since it was in stock.
I later went here to find bridesmaids dresses with my bridesmaids, and again they made everyone feel so wonderful.
Just an amazing experience from a bride that was worried that she would never find that perfect dress. -

I love that they don’t have any dresses over $2000 so you don’t have to worry about trying on a dress that’s too expensive and they are all beautiful and flowy !! I went to so many other places and kept coming back to that dress and I love it. It shipped so quickly ! Such an easy experience
I went to 3 different boutiques before going to BHLDN in Orange County, and it was a breath of fresh air. They don’t have an overwhelming number of dresses, and I was looking for something with a bit more of a boho vibe. I found one dress that I liked but wasn’t set on. I was subscribed to their emails and fell in love with a dress they just came out with so I scheduled my appointment and was in and out within half an hour. I recommend unsubscribing from their emails once you’ve picked one otherwise you’ll convince yourself you need 5 costume changes during your wedding! -

I am so happy I went with BHLDN for my wedding dress. I got married on the beach in Aruba so I knew I did not want a big gown. BHLDN had the perfect dresses, lightweight and fitted for a beach wedding. I ordered my dress on a Friday and it was at my doorstep by Tuesday, and this was on a holiday weekend, too! -

This review is long overdue! I made an appointment at BHLDN Beverly Hills to shop for my wedding dress in October 2017. I came to the appointment with my mom, maid of honor, and younger sister. Anthony helped us and was beyond amazing!! He made my group feel at home while I tried on dresses, asked questions to help get an idea of what I was looking for, and pulled all the dresses I had pre-selected online before my appointment. I loved that he allowed me to discuss with my group what I liked/disliked about each dress, but if the dress wasn’t “the one” in any way, he ushered me along to the next. Anthony has an uncanny ability to listen and understand his client’s wants and needs; the entire experience was fun, comfortable, and felt like I was shopping with another friend. I ultimately narrowed down my search to 2 dresses that were quite different. Anthony alluded to already knowing which dress was “mine” but did not give his opinion, so as not to sway me one way or the other. I ended up trying each dress on again, and Anthony outfitted me in the veil, flowers, etc. for each. It was so clear after that which dress I was meant to buy, and I said “Yes” to the dress! I could not have asked for a more wonderful experience and could not have been happier with the dress or the service at BHLDN! -

She is the consultant at BHLDN Westport with whom I was lucky enough to work with when I had my first (and last) excursion wedding dress shopping. I was a little nervous! I had never been wedding dress shopping and I was not sure how things worked... I was afraid of fit, not knowing what I wanted, and the lingo surrounding fittings. Plus I am fairly indecisive at times. Upon first meeting Katie, she was very friendly, yet professional, and made both me and my mom feel immediately comfortable and confident we were in experienced hands. It was clear that she had really read the form I submitted because she had already spent time pulling dresses that fit my interests before I arrived. She showed me the dresses she'd pulled and asked my thoughts before taking me around the store for a quick view of other options. Katie helped me in and out of each dress and was a master at clipping me into the dresses so that I could really tell how they would look when fitted. She had a real talent for clipping various places to get it just right. Every dress I tried on, whether I liked it or not, she pointed out the similarities and differences to the other dresses so that I could articulate to her and myself what I liked and didn't. She was never judgmental or opinionated of my choices. And, she made me feel very comfortable asking questions about things I didn't understand--like "what do you mean by bustling the train?" It was very helpful for her to explain the fitting process and alterations. She explained what things I could do with the dress and what things might be harder to do. She kept me to a top 3 at all times, which really helped with my indecisiveness. Overall, it was a great experience and I would recommend asking for her when you sign up for an appointment! -
Lauren Sent on 09/21/2018I had such a great experience at the BHLDN at Chestnut Hill. My stylist was very easy to work with. She helped me stay in budget when pulling dresses, which is very different from a lot of bridal stores. She also was very body positive, by taking my measurements, but not sharing them or my size because bridal sizing is often completely different from street sizing. She was not pushy at all and really made it a pleasant experience. We were the only people in the store, which made the appointment much easier. I ended up ordering over the phone and the dress got to me in about 2 weeks!

Julia Sent on 09/12/2018This store is amazing. I only went to one other wedding dress vendor to try dresses, and even so, BHLDN’s service was far and away more comforting and calming. My attendant was not pushy but she also knew what she was talking about. She suggested beautiful accessories that perfected my look. The price is beyond right! The dress was comfortable and durable all night long even as high heels kept getting stuck in my tulle. BHLDN is the place to shop for weddings!

Leah Sent on 08/05/2018BHLDN at Rittenhouse was a dream location for my first (and only) wedding dress shopping appointment. My BHLDN stylist, Sarah, was kind, caring, patient, and knowledgeable. Although I came in with a dress in mind, she assisted with pulling other dresses that fit my style. I ended up picking the first dress I tried on, the Aurora Gown. I could not have asked for a more perfect experience. To make matters even more awesome, once I bought my dress from BHLDN, I reached out to their stylist team to help match perfect BHLDN bridesmaid dresses, mother of the bride dresses, shoes, and accessories. Caroline was such a sweetheart and responded promptly to all of my questions and also shared pictures of BHLDN brides that had also picked the Aurora Gown to help me picture color schemes on my big day. I found a fantastic dress for $350 and I was so impressed. The dresses are beautiful and they have something for all price points. -

I went with a few of my bridesmaids and my mom and upon arriving for the appointment they offered us champagne, making the day much more fun! I had selected 5 dresses to try on when I made the appointment but one of my bridesmaids told me that I HAD to try on one that she found on the rack. Thankfully the employee assisting me ( I feel awful because I forget her name, it was about a year ago) allowed for more time so that I could try it on because it ended up being the one! I liked the dress but I wanted a tulle skirt instead of the chiffon skirt my dress had. That's when the employee told us that they could make that work. She came out with a tulle skirt to put over my dress and it was PERFECT. Everyone started crying because they knew it was the one too. It was such a fun, wonderful day and I got so many compliments on my dress at the wedding last month! Best part was, after ordering my dress, I got it at my door within 7-10 days!

I ultimately didn't end up purchasing a dress, but I'd highly recommend this place to anyone looking for their dream dress. -

Nikaela Sent on 03/26/2018I went this weekend to the store in Portland. Jessea ended up helping me out and she was a doll. I brought along my mom, dad, and sister, and she rolled with the punches as put up with all of us so well. I chose three dresses online to try on and she brought out three others for me to get a really good feel for them. I ended up going with the third one. I was a bit nervous as this was the first shop I went to, but I decided it was better not to give myself too many options. :) All of their dresses are very reasonably priced but still felt amazing in quality. The dress I chose even has POCKETS!!! I had a wonderful experience and know I will feel so magical on my wedding day! -

BHLDN has a great system in place for brides to be, you can book an appointment online to guarantee the space and time needed for you and your wedding party to help select your wedding dress.
I went into the store with my sights on one dress in particular, my stylist already had grabbed it based on my comments in during my appointment setup. As soon as I put on the dress, I knew it was the one for me... but she still encouraged me to try on other dresses just to see how I felt. I appreciated her advice because the more dresses I tried on, the more I fell in love with my initial dress.
I purchased the dress and a hair piece and my stylist assisted me in ordering and shipping the items to my home. The entire process was seamless, my stylist even brought some champagne out for my bridesmaids and I to celebrate me saying yes to the dress :)
I loved my experience here and would recommend to all future brides, they have a wide selection of wedding dresses here at reasonable prices. -

Ashley Sent on 12/30/2017I couldn't have imagined a more perfect wedding dress. BHLDN had the wedding dress of my dreams. I looked up and down, high and low for a wedding dress that fit my personality...and one that made me feel like bride I wanted to be. My style is boho chic - I like a little bit of modern mixed in with a little bit of rustic, and I really didn't want a traditional wedding dress. After going to tons of bridal boutiques, I landed at BHLDN and knew that I wouldn't have to look any further. I love that so much of their bridal line is separates so you can mix and match top with bottom to find something that's uniquely you. I originally wanted something with blush but when I tried on the Brody Top (shown here) with the Tull Skirt in green, I knew this was the one. Sure, some might think it's more of a "Bridesmaid" dress but I wanted color in my dress while still feeling like a bride, and I couldn't have landed on a better option. The best part is I spent well under $1,000 for the entire dress! I felt like a million dollars in this dress. A few months after I picked it out, I went through that all-too-familiar period of doubt, but when I put it back on for a few minor alterations at the seamstress, I fell in love again, and I fall in love with it every time I put it on since then. Looking back now on the wedding 2 months down the road, it's still better than I ever could have imagined. My experience at BHLDN trying on dresses was excellent too. I was looking for something so different and my stylist was able to mix and match until we found the right style for me. I can't recommend them enough!

I was looking for my wedding dress 6 weeks prior to my wedding day, and purchased the Marivana Ivory Lace Gown in-store, the veil it's shown with online, and the Marla peep-toe heels. Everything was beautifully packaged and shipped quickly, giving me enough time for me to have the dress altered three times before my wedding day. The dress was very comfortable, beautiful, and appropriate for my fall wedding. The veil was a perfect complement. The shoes looked great but weren't comfortable. 5 stars for promptness and quality.

My girlfriends and I went to their Manhattan showroom to look at dresses and the girl was terrific at helping me decide which dress to say yes to! ALL the dresses in their shop are so stunning and beautifully made but what really won me over were the prices. They had stunning dresses under $1000 and the sale dresses are equally as stunning. The dress I ended up choosing was originally $700 and went on sale the following weekend for $350! I was beyond excited and it really was my dream dress! Thank you ladies so much!

The decor and atmosphere are just so nice. And the dress consultants are so friendly and accommodating. Once I said yes to my dress, myself and my guests got little cans of champagne to celebrate! So cute! I would highly recommend BHLDN if you want a fun and easy dress shopping experience. And if you are looking to spend not a lot on your dress. -
Joselyn Sent on 09/30/2017I bought my dress back during the holidays for my wedding on September 15th 2017. We went and visited the Chicago location. They were so accommodating. I had a very large group (15) and they were able to have space for all of us. The lady that helped us was very knowledgeable and helpful. She was able to speak to all the dresses i tried on. I did not buy a dress that day but called back a week later and I ended up buying a skirt and two tops. The pieces came in so quick and i was so happy with them. Thanks for a great experience!

I had a dress appointment the day before where I almost chose a dress, but had some uncertainty so I kept my appointment with BHLDN, and I am so glad I did. The shop itself is very appealing and inviting. The gowns are beautiful and great for a bride who may want something unique. I fell in love with my Cate gown which they helped me accessorize beautifully with a halo and veil. The sales associate helping me was very kind and helpful. We had a champagne toast upon choosing my gown and overall, I had a very "bridal" experience. I also utilized the websites "stylist advice" for general questions and I found this helpful. At the wedding, I received endless compliments on my gown and headpiece.
