If you are looking for a caterer that lives up to their name, this is the one you need! My daughter got married in Macon on November 13, 2021. Wayne, Lindy, and their staff are amazing. I can't say enough wonderful things about them. Wayne could certainly add being a perfect wedding planner/designer, etc. to his catering if he didn't already have a full-time job. He has the best ideas! Even though we did not order the cakes from him he put his magic touch on them and the tables. They are absolutely hands down the best! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! Courtney Sent on 10/25/2017Let me just say, that I don’t highly recommend that you book with Wayne and Lindy I absolutely FORCE you to make the hands down best decision that I, myself, made! Their name is exactly what they mean—they go beyond and ABOVE your expectations. Our wedding was an ABSOLUTE dreams. Our guests are STILL talking about the mashed potatoes!!!! The appetizers and the food was also amazing! I highly suggest you take them up on their offer to take you to the back to eat. This gives you that one on one time with your husband and vice versa. We gave Wayne and Lindy our vision and they made it into a reality. They were always available to communicate and anything we needed or had questions with they always responded. If I ever told one of them I needed something or wanted something differently neither one of them hesitated. They also loaded the gifts into our car at the end of the night. Their servers are wonderful and they ensured to pre bus every table to keep it nice and tidy. I would not change a single thing!!!! Their price for the accommodations and everything they offered was 100% worth every single penny! We love them like family now!

User2620276 Sent on 05/24/2016I cannot say enough wonderful things about Wayne and Lindy. They had beautiful flowers are the church and the club.. It was absolutely beautiful. Many guests told me that they had not seen the club decorated more elegantly than for my daughter's wedding. They were helpful and made sure everything was done seamlessly. They loaded all the gifts into my husbands truck for us and made sure that everyone was where they were supposed to be. I cannot say enough good thinks about Wayne ... he took me by the arm and escorted me into the ballroom before the guest arrived and let me see how beautiful it was. thanks Wayne and Lindy for the perfect wedding and reception. -

User2177354 Sent on 06/13/2015From the beginning of our planning, it was evident that our wedding reception was one of "the most important events" that Great Expectations had ever taken on (or at least that's the how they made this MOB feel)! They worked seamlessly & graciously with our other vendors. GE had recommendations for us to consider in our set-up which were greatly appreciated. The food was delicious, the service professional and presentation a visual delight. All through the evening, the owners, Wayne & Lindy Smith, were very sensitive to our guests as well as to us. They were insistent (in a very good way) that the bride & groom have a few private moments to eat and the checked on me periodically. At a time when the MOB feels that she's been "taking care of everything" it was great to feel that someone was "taking care of" me! The staff even loaded wedding gifts brought to the reception in a vehicle!
