We just had my granddaughter's quince at Betty's Total Events and everything was excellent. From the first meeting with Betty and Vanessa to the end of the evening everything fell into place. They listened to our requests and every detail was in place. The party was beautiful and the professionalism and care was seen throughout the event. Thank you again and God bless you all! Jasmine Sent on 05/23/2018All i can say is BEST WEDDING EVER!!!! i planned with Yohaidy for 2 years and she been nothing but awesomeness. They are very flexible with you in everything. The food was AMAZING my guest have not stopped talking about it. The price is very affordable. i gave Yohaidy my ideas and colors and told her to work her magic, and it came out OUTSTANDING and so beautiful. i would definitely recommend anyone here and ill be back for my daughters sweet 16

Trust in her...shr knows what she is doing...people are still talking about how beautiful everything was, the food, and the pinna coladas. Everyone has commented on how good of a service there was at my weddi.g. My husband and I are so thankful for this place. Is an affordable place that people will love. They will work with you to try to make everything just the way you want it. Betty even gave us stuff that was not o our menu or on our contract for free. She is just interested in making you and your guest feel like a million dollar that day. I highly rexommend this place. And I know whoever is reading this email does not know me....but I am one perfectionist person and this place met my expectations. Highly recommend. I also want to mention Jasmaris, she is such a sweet heart. I bothered her so much but she was always nice to me. She helped me so much and gave me ideas, answered my emails, wrote quotes for me. If you can ask for her when you go there do. -
User1516061 Sent on 01/22/2014Betty's made my wedding super easy, affordable & most importantly, BEAUTIFUL! I gave Betty my colors & she put together beautiful flowers to compliment the colors I had chosen. She also did an amazing job with the flowers & decoration in the downstairs chapel as well as the reception area. My guests are still talking about the flowers! The food was delicious. And the in house wedding planner, Yohaidy Pichardo....just AMAZING. She went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly and that i was stress free. I would definitely recommend Betty's Total Events & Catering Hall.

Lady Sent on 08/02/2010I loved BC!! It is a beautiful location with great food and service. It might not be perfect for everyone but it fit the bill for me. Betty and her staff are wonderful, they knew us for a year (since we booked) and always helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Here are the pros and cons in my opinion of the place:
PROS: The venus/skylight room is beautiful! if you are not having a gigantic wedding and want something intimate and elegant it's perfect. The neutrality of the room, no ugly carpet, wallpaper or chandeliers. The food is delish!!! not sure if it's still the case but the flowers are included (we upgraded but still thought it was a great deal) and so is the cake. Those were two expenses we saved on right off the bat. There's a homey feeling, we visited a lot and saw Betty herself or Johaidy who helped us throughout our process. They were both WONDERFUL to deal with.
CONS: I loved Betty! she is absolutely a lovely woman, but Betty's Catering is not exactly the chicest of names! I think something more "neutral" would give a better feeling to the invites, the location itself and add style to the wedding. The location isn't ideal either, if you want your guests to arrive to a dream location, you won't get that here, it's on a semi commercial, semi residential street and it doesn't lend itself to romance outdoors (that is of course until you step inside). They do have valet parkig which solved my issue and I was fine with the street.
The maitre'd we had was horrible!! I never met him until that day and he was the only person I can complain about but he was unorganized and downright clumsy. I know he truly meant well but he needs to get it together. -

I was supposed to have my wedding in August, the owner never called me back not even once to see if we wanted to change our date. I called her many times, txt, send messages on Instagram and Facebook. Whoever is trying to book this place don't do it. They are the worst in Queens.
