Scott did our engagement pictures for us. The first place we chose was flooded (which he helped us make the most of) and then allowed us to go on to a second place. We then went to Starbucks and reviewed our pictures immediately & told him which ones we wanted and what we wanted done with them. He rocked it! thanks Scott! -

Better Image Photography absolutely hit a home run with our wedding photos. It was very easy to work with them and they captured all of the special images we wanted, from the engagement photos to the candid's and ceremony pictures, we couldn't be happier with the results. I will recommend Better Image to all I know looking to get married.

We hired better image for our videographer, my only regret is not having him do our photos too. I couldn't ask for a better wedding video. They did such an amazing job and very professional. Did a great job at capturing every special moment. And the YouTube video that he put together with our first dance song playing in the back was remarkable. Thanks so much to Scott and his team. -

My wedding was the most memorable day of life!! Everything went perfect. Choosing my photographer was a huge decision though. I wanted someone to capture my perfect day and who would be able to handle taking pictures of my 13 flower girls and 4 ring bearers. Scott with "Better Image Photography" was awesome!! He was able to capture our huge family with such eases. All my pictures turned out beautiful!! We were so relaxed and that made for some beautiful fun loving shots. Scott has an eye for perfect lighting and timing of taking pictures. He spent all day with us and he took our engagement pictures too. Scott did an amazing job and I would recommend him to anyone!!

We hired Scott for the photobooth at our wedding. Everyone had a blast dressing up and taking photos. Everyone was able to take photos home. He even mailed us the cd and photos after the wedding. The price was great too! Thanks for making our day so fun! -

When I got engaged in May of 2009, the feat of planning a wedding seemed so overwhelming to me, but the one thing that was a no-brainer was that I would hire Better Image Photography to do my pictures! My good friend Michelle had used them for her wedding, and I was the Maid of Honor, so I knew that not only did Scott Painter take fantastic pictures, but that he was really easy to work with, and his rates were very reasonable! (Michelle, is really fantastic at finding the best value for the best price!) ;)
My 2 favorite things about my wedding pictures, and Better Image Photography, is that Scott captured fantastic shots when I didn't even know he was there, and the shots are creative, and not the typical cheesy "posed" pictures! In fact, newly engaged friends of ours that were at our reception, booked Better Image the following week because they witnessed Scott getting alll of the shots that were important to them too!
We were married at Church By The Side of the Road in Rockton, IL, and my biggest concern with that venue was the stained glass window behind the altar....Yes, it is beautiful, but I was afraid the light coming through would make it hard to get nice ceremony pictures....nope, that wasn't a problem for Scott! They turned out great!
Better Image makes choosing the pics for your wedding album insanely easy, which is something I was really worried about, because I am BAD at making decisions like that. They design an organized layout with the "best pics" from the day, which is ready a few days after your wedding, and it is so exciting to see! I barely made any changes to it, because it was pretty much exactly what I would have chosen!
One more thing that I most appreciate about Scott and Better Image Photography is how truly easy they make the entire planning, and ordering process. To say I was a procrastinating bride is putting it pretty lightly....Scott was so patient and helpful, and I thank him for putting up with me!
Trust me, booking Better Image Photography for your big day will be the smartest and easiest decision you can make!

My husband and I had Scott do both our engagement photos as well as our wedding photos. We have been nothing but pleased with both of our experiences working with Scott. He is extremely talented in what he does. His photos are always creative! Scott had our photos online within 3 days of our wedding. I would absolutely recomment Better Image to anyone looking for a photographer!

Scott was a wonderful photographer and I love my photos. His package was a great deal, if you ask me.
It was a bit hard to get in touch with him now and then, but overall he got back to us within a reasonable time frame.
Our pictures were ready REALLY fast after the wedding (less than a week) online and he had the album proof done within three weeks of the wedding. We had all our prints and formal album within six weeks of the wedding.
Would definitely recommend Better Image. -

Scott and his team did an amazing job with our wedding pictures. We had our own ideas for a few things and they were flexible and worked with us. Better Image offers photography/video/photo booth so it is a one stop shop. You can get everything you want in one place which makes it easier for planning. Scott is easy to work with. -

My husband Kyle has been a groomsman in two other weddings that Better Image photographed, so for us they were an obvious choice. Our engagement session with Scott was a special moment in our journey with Better Image Photography. Scott made two hours at Rock Cut State Park fly by with his creativity. When it came time to view our engagement photos we were thrilled, and had a difficult time deciding which would be showcased at our wedding and in our home, because he took so many extraordinary pictures. Scott's associate Mike accompanied us on our wedding day; we were blessed with another talented photographer. We made two stops for pictures after the wedding at Midway Village and at Target where we first met. Taking the time to go all over Rockford with us was really exceptional. Mike, our album is a showcase to your amazing work! Thank you both to Scott and Mike for capturing our special moments so that we can always remember the beginning of our life together, as husband and wife.

Our wedding was at the Rortary Gardens in Janesville and the pictures came out beautiful. We did not want the traditional type pictures and they turned out great. The pictures were on the computer within a couple of weeks. We were very pleased with this photographer. -

The pictures I got from Better Image were awesome. He didn't have a major out of focus issue, start a fight with a groomsman at the reception, miss key parts of my wedding, and purposefully avoid my communication for months so he did pretty good!!! They looked soo nice, and not to mention the Wedding Album!! Every single one of my family and friends are so in love with the album just as much as I am. Totally worth the money once you see the results! He even made sure to talk to both sets of parents before leaving which meant a lot to me! -

He showed up at the ceremony to take a picture and ended up talking with our ushers and before my wife walked down the aisle stopped her to try and talk to her. Was rude during the ceremony and talked during a part of it that was dedicated to all of our deceased loved ones. At the reception he wasn't at his photo booth that he had set up but half for about half the time and spent at least 30 minutes outside with our photographer talking. He has avoided contact with us since the wedding and was extremely rude. He tried to force his way to get my wife to have him video tape the wedding. -
