  Incredibly Talented!

  Ben and his team were incredible to have at our wedding this past summer. They captured all our special moments, while also being kind, responsive, and FUN to have at a wedding!! Their talents speak for themselves in their videos, and they truly know what it means to make someones wedding day feel like a movie! So beyond happy that we hired them for our day!

  Amazing Videographer!

  My husband and I hired Ben for our wedding at Beech Hill Barn and we are so thankful to have had him. Initially, I didn't think we needed a videographer but after some persuading from my husband he convinced me we should have Ben and I have absolutely no regrets! His easy going personality and incredible talent allowed for us to feel comfortable and know that we would have an amazing video. He was prompt with his email responses, was willing to take our suggestions as to what we were looking for, and was overall a pleasure to work with! I would recommend him to anyone looking for a videographer.

  Blown away

  I must be honest I did not see the necessity of a wedding video. I WAS SO WRONG! We just got the teaser video from daughters wedding and it was beyond words! You could feel how much they love each other and how beautiful the venue was. Better Half captured friends on the dance floor and many candid moments. I will finally get to see the full ceremony. As Mother of the Bride you get caught up in the moment and you miss so many things. Now I will be able to see them all. I am so happy that my daughter did not give up on convincing me this was a must have. The video will be something our family will cherish forever. If you are to hire a videographer for your wedding, make it Better Half Productions.

  Amazing wedding videography!

  Ben did such an amazing job capturing our wedding day! I originally thought we didn't need a videographer, but hiring Ben ended up being one of the best decisions we made throughout the entire wedding planning process, and we are so grateful to have these memories in video form forever. Ben was super responsive and organized, fun to spend the day with, and flexible and easy going when there was potential rain in the weather forecast. And, most importantly, the videos came out beautifully - he and did such a great job capturing the most important parts of our wedding day. I couldn't recommend Ben more for wedding videography!

  The Best Videographer!!

  We had the pleasure of having Ben at both of our wedding celebrations. The video from our original wedding is beyond beautiful. My husband and I can be awkward in front of a camera, but Ben made it comfortable and fun. He is professional, punctual and a great edition to the party. We’re so excited to see the final product from our makeup wedding!

  Happy I can relive this day

  This photographer/videographer is incredible. Ben helped make our special day last forever on video so we can relive it over and over. My wife and I aren’t the best in front of the camera but he made us look like professionals. Thanks Better Half!

  Where do I begin! As far as Ben’s talent goes, his videos speak for themselves. Our expectations were far exceeded when we received our videos. The teaser was just that, such a tease! The highlight video perfectly captured all of the special moments, it felt like we were reliving our wedding in a 7 minute video; and the full length video is just so special. For us to have the full ceremony, speeches and dances to look back on in the years to come, means so much. He is very prompt on his turn around times, we were very pleased with how quickly we got the final video. Ben also really takes the time to get to know his clients, so that each video is the perfect representation of the couples relationship. He was so easy going and fun to have around throughout the day, and has a way of making everyone feel so comfortable in front of the camera. I really can’t say enough great things about Better Half Productions. I would, without a doubt, recommend them to anyone thinking about hiring a videographer.

  JUST WOW!! The engagement and wedding video Ben created for my husband and I left us speechless and always brings happy tears to our eyes!! Ben captured our wedding day so perfectly. My husband and I always knew we wanted our wedding videoed so we could always look back and watch our day, and we could not have picked a better videographer!! Ben is not only so creative and talented but also very professional, hilarious, personable, and makes you feel so comfortable! Every time my husband and I watch our wedding video, it makes us feel like we are reliving our day, and we will treasure this video forever! I have and always will recommend Better Half Productions to any couple getting married!

  Ben was an absolute blast as our wedding videographer! He made the wedding more fun than we thought possible. He went out of his way to chat and meet with us on several occasions before the wedding to learn and understand more about us to ensure he captured those qualities in his work. He even turned around a teaser trailer within a week of our wedding! So excited to see the final video and share with our family and friends.

  Best videographer ever

  Having a videographer capture our wedding day was an aspect of our special day my husband and I knew all along we wanted. Pictures are wonderful too, but nothing helps you relive one of the most special days of your life like a motion picture. So with that said, we didn't want just anyone. We wanted a videographer that was exceptional!!! Well, Ben with Better Half Productions EXCEEDED every expectation I had, everything I thought I wanted in a wedding video, Ben did better. He made our wedding come to life and not only that but he spent time climbing around the rocks of Acadia National Park shooting an engagement video for us as well! These memories are invaluable to Eric and I's love story and I know we will look back on the content Ben created and fall more and more in love each time. Ben made sneak peaks to each video AND included a two hour long full content video including the ceremony, speeches, toasts, etc in our package. Ben is SO FUN!!! Seriously. He is the man. He is funny, adventurous, professional, a great communicator, and shooting with him was easy going, fun and so comfortable. I could not possibly recommend Better Half Productions more!!!! Thank you Ben!!!

  We had a great time working with Ben

  We reached out to Ben relatively late in the game to ask him to video our wedding. He was quick to jump on a call, and was helpful throughout the process both before and after the wedding. The final product was wonderful, and will provide us amazing memories for years to come!

  I wasn't even considering hiring a videographer for our wedding. That was a mistake. My, then, fiance persisted that we hire this duo, Nick and Ben. Not sure how she had heard about them but the graces of God brought them to us. I was still skeptical up until we met; Down to earth and very professional gentlemen. They made it incredibly easy to conduct business.
  
  On the day of the wedding, each one of them took the time to get to know the children in our wedding party so they were able to easily capture their personalities (which meant the world to my wife!). During the ceremony and the reception, I hardly noticed them which was a concern. However, after viewing the video, I was speechless. They had unbelievable footage from multiple angles. Hands down the best investment we made for our wedding.
  
  I would definitely recommend them for your wedding or someone you know that is planning a wedding. It's amazing how surreal it becomes when you watch it over and over. We feel like we are reliving the moment.

We added video to our wedding plan relatively late in the game but are so glad that it led us to Better Half Productions! We loved how Ben took some time to get to know us and what we were looking/hoping for ahead of the big day. We had numerous phone conversations and met up for some drinks to just hang out. Ben took the time to make sure we were comfortable and we so appreciated that! When it came to the big day, Ben and his second shooter blended in and worked really well with our photographer despite them never working together before. Ben turned around a teaser video within days and when we got the full video we were over the moon! What a special thing to remember our big day! He even sent the coolest digital video player! We just had our first anniversary and loved being able to relive our wedding in this way! We will cherish it forever! Thanks Ben, you rock!

  Big wedding regret

  Unfortunately I would not recommend hiring Ben/Better Half for your wedding videography if you are looking for someone who is professional and dependable to capture your day. We hired Better Half for the full service package (which was supposed to include the entire ceremony and all speeches) and were provided a video that was missing the entire father-of-the bride speech and part of another speech. Ben was not upfront about the missing footage and after several back-and-forth emails he finally admitted to what he called a “technical hiccup” with their equipment. He took no accountability and refused to provide a partial refund, citing that the contract mentions that “unforeseen technical issues” are not a basis for a refund (which is obviously ridiculous and upsetting). There was a second videographer present and it is unclear why there was not a backup system in place, but we will never know since Ben was not forthcoming with details. In addition, the full-length video we were provided has several distracting audio noises throughout it including during the ceremony. Overall, we were given a very poor quality product for the price we paid and I am deeply upset that I cannot rewatch my father’s speech for years to come. I would recommend avoiding this company – it is not worth the risk or cost.

  Unfortunately I would not recommend hiring Ben/Better Half for your wedding videography if you are looking for someone who is professional and dependable to capture your day. We hired Better Half for the full service package (which was supposed to include the entire ceremony and all speeches) and were provided a video that was missing the entire father-of-the bride speech and part of another speech. Ben was not upfront about the missing footage and after several back-and-forth emails he finally admitted to what he called a “technical hiccup” with their equipment. He took no accountability and refused to provide a partial refund, citing that the contract mentions that “unforeseen technical issues” are not a basis for a refund (which is obviously ridiculous and upsetting). There was a second videographer present and it is unclear why there was not a backup system in place, but we will never know since Ben was not forthcoming with details. In addition, the full-length video we were provided has several distracting audio noises throughout it including during the ceremony. Overall, we were given a very poor quality product for the price we paid and I am deeply upset that I cannot rewatch my father’s speech for years to come. I would recommend avoiding this company – it is not worth the risk or cost.
