Life of the Party!

Beth Mitchell went above and beyond on our big day. She was professional, energetic, and receptive to our ideas. Guests and other vendors at the wedding raved about the playlist, and she kept the dance floor grooving all night. We cannot recommend Beth more highly for your event!

Wonderful!

Beth was absolutely wonderful! She was right on the money with every song and her timing was wonderful. She helped facilitate releasing tables for dinner and was willing to help out with anything throughout the night! We couldn't have asked for more or been more thankful for her!

Beyond words!

Beth Mitchell DJ Service is THE choice for your wedding DJ. She is thorough, professional, and fun! She allowed me to create my own playlists, make special/non-traditional reception requests, and adjust the timeline as the wedding occurred (flexibility!). At one point, she and her assistant were helping bustle my dress when everyone else had given up! She's the one!

What a party!!

Beth did an amazing job with the lights and creating the party atmosphere that we wanted for our reception. She also took all the feedback we gave her and created the best cocktail hour for our friends and family. I would highly recommend her for any event you may have!

Beth was great to have on our wedding day! She was fun and took charge of everything. She made sure the day flowed and that everything stayed on schedule, which was very much appreciated. Would totally recommend her for your event! 10/10!

Best DJ and Photobooth around!

Beth is such pleasure to work with, she is great with getting back with you and makes sure that everything is taken care of. She even helped on the day of the wedding when we decided to change some things. She didn't mind what so ever and was making sure that i was ok with everything. She has good taste in music and keeps the dance floor alive. They also offer a photobooth which is ran by her husband, he does an awesome job with that and totally recommend getting them both! You wont regret it!

The coolest and the best

The best DJ in Central KY. Beth is super chill but pays attention to every important detail. She knows how to get the crowd dancing. Also her photo booth is top notch.

Beth is wonderful to work with! From day one right through the wedding she was so kind and easy to work with and really went above and beyond to ensure our music was exactly as we wanted! We knew we didn't have to worry about anything music related with Beth on the job!!

Best DJ & Photo booth ever!!!

I may be a little biased since I have know. Beth since middle school but her and Michael delivered a service that my husband and I couldn’t even imagine. Our guest had a blast with the photo booth and Beth played songs that we never would have thought of that made the night memorable. The dance floor was full all night long. You can not get more bang for your buck than going with Beth Mitchell.

She's awesome!

Beth was amazing, easy to work with and kind. She even cut a song for me and my wife for our first dance. She and her husband were confident and professional, they got to know us well and we wouldn't have been happy with anyone else.

Beth nailed our style!

Beth did a great job with picking the music for our wedding. We gave her a few suggestions and she ran with them to create a song list that we really enjoyed. It fit our style perfectly. Cues and timing of announcements were also great.

I cannot say enough WONDERFUL things about Beth. She was absolutely amazing. She made sure our day stayed on track, she kept everyone dancing and she made sure that I was okay throughout the day. She listened to what we wanted and made sure we were not disappointed. Also, GET THE PHOTOBOOTH! Everyone loved it! We got so may compliments and had so much fun. Beth is the best!

Beth was fantastic! My husband and I were looking for an affordable DJ that could coordinate our ceremony and reception, and Beth went above and beyond! She had some very detailed forms that helped us plan all the music we needed, held a call with us to talk through our selections, and came to our rehearsal to run through our ceremony music. In addition, she edited a song for us, added an extra song the morning of the wedding via text message, and made sure our event was arranged with everything from mics to uplighting! Beth was so professional, responsive, accommodating and on top of everything - we would definitely recommend working with her!

Best DJ you could ever have!! I never rate or leave reviews but Beth was amazing and get guests dancing until the end! She even helped us keep in time since we didn't have a wedding planner! This would be the best choice for you special day!

Beth was amazing. My wedding had a lot of older family members at it so it was pretty hard to get people to dance. But Beth keep trying all night. By the end of the night it was just my husband, myself, and all our younger friends left and we danced all night. She made it so much fun and was able to play any song that was requested. If I ever need a DJ again I will definitely go with Beth.

Beth Mitchell was an amazing DJ, she was very professional and a fun person. She is well organized and makes announcements. She helps you planned out the wedding reception by sending you questions about the schedule of events, and what types of music or songs you want her to play for each event (i.e. during bridal party announcements, bride and grooms first dance, and etc). What type of music you don't want her to play. The equipment she brings is top quality and was all set up before the event.

We were looking for a pretty scaled down DJ, we weren't doing a typical reception but really wanted someone else running the show music-wise. Beth was awesome to work with - she wasn't put off at all by us wanting to pick a bunch of songs, or by us changing things up a bit as we got closer to the date, or even by our lack of organization the day of! She took our laid back style in stride and was every bit the professional. She was able to run music into two separate locations (indoor and out) so everyone was on the same page and she was in and out with no fan fair or disruption of everything else going on around her. She was very personable and easy to work with, I wouldn't hesitate to use her again!

It's simple. Choose Beth. We had Beth DJ our ceremony music and reception. She has a rockstar personality and does an incredible job walking you through what's needed to plan music for your ceremony and/or reception. She's flexible and is all about making you enjoy your big party! With Beth, I never once worried about all the music, announcements, etc. because I knew she had it handled.

Book her! Beth is very affordable and easy to work with. She thoroughly sought out our song and artist preferences, advised us on the format of our reception, fulfilled everyone's song requests, was very organized, had a sweet demeanor with us the entire night (complimenting our music tastes), emceed the night, and worked personally with the photographer on the fly to expedite the reception's events so we could get photographs of all the reception's events. Beth adapted easily when our pictures threw off our timeline, ensuring the party and music kept going. She also helped us out with some special requests and tracks we sent her. 5/5, would definitely recommend.

DJ Beth was Amazing! Our guests loved her and she was easy and great to work with! Her equipment was amazing and was easy to access our venue that was spread out everywhere (sorry about that lol)! She also had a keen sense that if the crowd wasn't feeling a song to go ahead and change it rather than have it play out, which I thought was cool. You made our reception SO MUCH FUN and I'm so glad you were our DJ! Thank you thank you thank you!

Beth was a great DJ at our wedding! From the first contact she was professional and responded promptly to all our questions. Beth was also flexible and willing to work with us on the details of our event. In addition, she was willing to attend our rehearsal. On the day of the wedding Beth followed closely the timeline we had provided her, and she definitely helped our wedding run more smoothly. We had a great experience with Beth. She was very receptive to our suggestions and expectations, so the night was filled with the music that we love! Beth was flexible with us in our planning process, too; we ran late on just about everything we did, including returning requests and schedules to her... and she rolled with the punches. The uplighting that she provided looked nice as well. Everything went great at our reception and I definitely believe Beth played a part in that! Our only regret is that we maybe gave her TOO MUCH information, haha.

If you're not wanting to spend $1000+ for your DJ, Beth is an excellent choice and in my opinion, she's a better option!! :)

Beth was absolutely fantastic! We were so very pleased with her services. We had to plan our wedding from a distance and I work night shift so much of the work had to be done via email. Beth was always very responsive by email and provided me with tons of information. We have some odd musical tastes and she was so accommodating. We gave her a handful of musicians/songs that we wanted played for the cocktail and dinner portion of the evening and she played the artists we requested and found more music that fit in perfectly with our tastes. I was extremely stressed about the music portion of the wedding simply because having a dance party was absolutely ESSENTIAL to my vision of the perfect day and Beth did an amazing job bringing that vision to life. I can't even tell you how many times I was doing something else during the reception (at the photobooth, bar, talking to someone) and I had to stop what I was doing to run to the dance floor because a song I love was playing. The dance floor was always full. Our guests were also super complimentary of the music. She was also exceedingly friendly, flexible, and professional. I really cannot say enough nice things about Beth and I would recommend you book her now!

This vendor was great to work with. They were on time, had a great setup and everyone was thrilled with both their DJ and photobooth services for our organization's Happy Hour event. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Beth was a great choice for our wedding. We heard of her services through a mutual friend who knew Beth personally and professionally. She was quick to change the music to get people back on the dance floor if it seemed guests weren't enjoying our music selections and play group dance songs that she knew would be crowd favorites. Beth was quick to download music for requests if she didn't have the song and was not phased with technical problems or changes in the schedule. She really listened to our music styles and created a great flow throughout the night. For the "Generation Dance" she interacted with the oldest married couple and really made that a fun interactive moment for our guests. We can not thank her enough for making our day special and braving the snow.

Beth was amazing to work with from the beginning. She always replied to emails in a very timely manner. She was very prompt in setting up the day of the event and stayed until the appointed hour. She had a great song selection and came prepared with a great playlist, but was also willing to play any song that was requested to her. She had a great variety of songs, new and old. I would definitely recommend her for any future event in need of a DJ considering this was our second time using Beth for an event!

Beth Mitchell DJ Service was such a please to work with. She was extremely professional and the value couldn't not have been better. We used Beth Mitchell DJ Service to entertain at a middle school dance and the students had a wonderful time. She played requests for the students and tailored the music to the crowd. She arrived on time and set up her equipment. She even had some fun lighting equipment. I definitely recommend this vendor!

Beth was amazing! We had a few unique requests (i.e. family playing the ceremony music, etc.) that she went above and beyond to accommodate. She was professional, flexible, and totally down to roll with the punches. Also, she got everyone on the dance floor and had many guests remarking how great she was. Beth was fantastic at reading the room and us. Several friends made comments along the lines of "this song always makes me think of you!" or "I was just about to request this!". She was great at responding to unexpected things - like when my husband announced he was done with our first dance. I laughed and found it charming, but I can see how it could totally throw someone off their game, Beth was 100% on point - she didn't make any face or judgement.

We provided a somewhat odd and totally unorganized playlist - Beth did a great job incorporating some of that list and finding many great songs to enhance it. She was so easy to work with and such a blast at the wedding itself. I cannot say enough nice things and I plan to put up this review in as many places as possible because she was that great.

Beth is FANTASTIC! She traveled to our wedding in Corbin which I believe is a super plus considering many vendors are not willing to travel. Beth is accomodating, creative, and went above and beyond. If we ever need a DJ again, we will not look anywhere else. We cannot say enough positive things about Beth. We highly reccomend her.

Love love love DJ Beth. I wanted some odd and different things done with the music for my ceremony, and she came through with flying colors. She helped make my reception the best party ever. We never had any of those awkward moments when the dance floor was empty. She was able to read the vibe of the crowd, and kept the party going to a maximum all night.

She made my event stress free. She helped me pick songs and listened to everything we wanted. There were lots of children at our wedding so she made sure to make things appropriate while still playing our favorite tunes. She was extremely flexible when it came to time changes in our event and knew how to please the crowd at every point in the night! Her prices were fair and she worked with my stressful wedding planning schedule at all times.

Beth was super awesome to work with. I couldn't have gone with a better DJ. Growing up,my wedding dream was to dance the night away and that dream and more was met because of Beth's DJ skills. She was always available to talk to me and walk me thru the planning process. She not only was my DJ, but became my friend. We absolutely loved working with Beth at our wedding! She worked with us to figure out exactly which songs we wanted/didn't want played at the reception & took it from there. We had tons of people out on the dance floor & had a wonderful time, without having to give her any instructions - she knew exactly what she was doing! Beth was recommended to me highly by a friend. Her price is very good for her service. But I will say, I gave her a specific timeline for the reception and it wasn't followed, table numbers were supposed to be announced for getting in line for food and they weren't causing a big long line to wait in, and something we're skipped, example: like my dads speech.
