I could not have been happier on my wedding day! The entire team at Berry Acres was amazing. Angela and Emma were attentive to our every need. They worked hard to keep us on schedule to make sure the event ran smoothly, to give our guests a great experience, and so we were able to get those much desired sunset photographs. The food was amazing and Alan kept the music going, Alan made sure to stay focused on the playlists we provided and to blend/fade the music to create a celebratory atmosphere. I highly recommend booking Berry Acres for your wedding or event, and when you do, book it ALL...the food, DJ, and wedding coordinator. It was a seamless experience. Thank you so much for making our day so special! -

We couldn’t be more grateful for the incredible experience we had at Berry Acres for our daughter’s wedding. From the very beginning, the team went above and beyond to make everything seamless and stress-free. Angela, Allen and Emma, in particular, were simply amazing—attentive to every detail, organized, and genuinely kind. Their professionalism and support made such a difference throughout the planning process and on the big day itself.
The venue was absolutely perfect. The setting is stunning, with so many beautiful spaces that made the day feel both elegant and relaxed. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how gorgeous everything was—from the ceremony to the reception—and how delicious the food was.
We are so thankful to Berry Acres for helping us give our daughter and new son-in-law a wedding day they (and we) will always remember. It was everything we hoped for and more.

I do not actually know where to begin. My daughter got married at Berry Acres in June and it was the perfect day. Angela and Emma were so great to work with and were the perfect "hosts". They made sure that the bride and the mother of the bride were able to really enjoy the day and that means so much. They listened to our ideas and wants and made them happen. The property is stunning with so many options for pictures, and to just take a moment. We had some dietary restrictions and they were happy to work around them on the food, which was top notch. Absolutely delicious, especially the mashed potatoes. Lots of people mentioned to me that they were the best they had ever had.
I cannot recommend Berry Acres enough. My daughter and her new husband had the wedding and party that they envisioned. They had a day and an experience that they will remember forever and that is mostly because of Berry Acres. -

Berry Acres was everything and more for our wedding day! From the open house/tasting events, to the planning meetings and reminder emails, Berry Acres had everything covered! We loved being able to have almost everything we needed for our day through the venue! (Catering, DJ, Coordinator). We were truly able to enjoy every minute of the day because Angela and Emma had EVERYTHING taken care of. Even though the weather didn't cooperate for us, Berry Acres had a gorgeous ceremony set up inside for us! We would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding venue! (We even had guests looking at their packages during our reception!) -

Berry Acres really went above and beyond for our wedding. They helped with small details and made sure everything ran smoothly the day of the wedding. I loved using their online platform to help design and put together the atmosphere of the wedding. Angela and Emma made sure nothing was forgotten and the atmosphere of the wedding was perfect. Every question or comment I had they responded to quickly and promptly and made sure I felt things were in place and in order for the special day. Berry Acres was outstanding for our March wedding. The venue is absolutely gorgeous, and it is was so easy to customize to make our vision come to life. The gold curtain backdrop in the reception hall made our photos extra magical.
Emma was our planner and coordinator, and made sure everything went smoothly- from planning meetings months in advance, to the rehearsal, to our big day, down to making sure the tablecloths were just right. She made my dream come true of an outdoor ceremony, while wisely having a backup plan if the weather didn't cooperate. Our officiant shared how our wedding ended up being one of the smoothest he's ever been apart of because of her. My husband and I didn't have to stress about a thing because we knew we were in such good hands! If you're considering Berry Acres, go for it!!!! You won't regret a thing. -

Berry Acres made our wedding day such a wonderful day! It was the most magical, perfect, beautiful, and stress free day. It went so much better than I could’ve imagined. I could say 1,000 thanks yous and I still don’t think it would cover how amazing it was. I will forever remember this day thanks to Emma, Angela and Alan. They made wedding planning completely stress free by having food, decorations, DJ, tables/chairs, and table cloths available. You will definitely not be disappointed going with Berry Acres.

Berry Acres made our wedding day so absolutely amazing! It was stress free. I told them what i wanted, what i didnt and they made it happened. If i had any issues with anyone i went straight to angela and she took care of it right away! We had an absolute great experience at Berry acres and had so much fun 100% stress free. Berry Acres was absolutely incredible. From our initial tour of the venue to every step leading up to the wedding they made everything so easy. They were so quick to respond with any questions we had and always checked in to make sure we stayed on track with planning. Their food is incredible and Alan did amazing with DJ. We had people dancing on the dance floor all night long! Our day couldn't have gone smoother thanks to the help of Angela, Alan and Emma. They truly made our day perfect! Oh my lord this venue was phenomenal, they did every detail perfectly and were so helpful in every way. If we (my husband & I) could give them more than 5 stars we would the staff is great and Angela and Alen were on point with literally everything from the day we started planning to the wedding night itself!! The venue staff them self's we so helpful and what ever we asked for even if it was border crazy they got it. My parents were a big part of planning and well and they can be a handful and again Angela handle them with ease. So happy and thankful for Berry Acres they get 10 out of 5 starts! -

Berry Acres made our day absolutely flawless. I anticipated things going wrong and not one thing went wrong due to their planning and coordination throughout the night. They are not only some of the friendliest people I have ever met, their venue is full service and absolutely beautiful. I was calm all day and they helped me to be! I am so glad we chose to stay close to home when looking for a venue and found this venue 5 minutes from our house. -

From our first visit to the wedding, the entire staff at Berry Acres was spot on. They were quick to respond to all our questions and concerns!! The venue had everything we were looking for. It was a one stop shop. They know their stuff!!!
The accommodations (beautiful), food (delicious), staff (friendly and caring), the attention to details (wonderful), I could go on and on....
The Fireworks were spectacular!!!!

Berry Acres was the absolute best. They were the first I(and only) venue we looked at before knowing they were "The One". They helped all of my visions for what my wedding day would look like come true. I loved that they offered so many services (DJ, Catering, décor rental, planning assistance, set up/tear down) so it took away the stress of trying to find outside vendors. The food was AMAZING. All of our guests are still talking about how wonderful it was. The light up dance floor is a perfect touch and so fun. The grounds/venue itself is breathtaking. The fireworks display they offer was outstanding (and another part of the night our guests won't stop talking about!) Angela & Alan along with all of the other staff we met were so kind and excited to help make our dreams come to life. I am 1000% pleased with Berry Acres and still floating on cloud 9 thinking about how perfect everything came together. -

Berry Acres was a dream. All the staff are super friendly and very helpful. They made the process super easy with providing almost everything to make the day go off without a hitch. Even building a ramp for my husband (he's in a wheelchair) to get onto the stage. I will recommend them to everyone I can. -

Stress Free Day
My husband and I recently got married at Berry Acres on April 10th. Berry Acres was the first and only venue we looked at and I have absolutely no regrets. From the time we booked with them until the end of our reception, they were nothing short of amazing. They truly are a “one-stop-shop” and executed our big day flawlessly. Not having to worry about catering, DJ, set up and clean up was a huge burden off of our shoulders. Angela, Jazmyn and Alan really go out of their way to make sure your day is stress-free. I told them several times throughout the day that I have no idea how people pull off wedding days without coordinators. Except, I wouldn’t just call them coordinators…you can tell they genuinely care.
The staff at Berry Acres went above and beyond what I ever imagined. They were extremely helpful throughout the entire process and never made me feel like I was bothering them with the many questions I always seemed to have. They also provided us with a packet to fill out which was very helpful because it included many details that Justin and I never would have even thought about and definitely would have missed if we didn’t have that.
My husband and I had two special requests. To be able to have a last dance with just the two of us in the room and to sit on the bed of good ol’ “Butch” while we watched our firework display. Butch was being repaired HOURS away from the venue but Alan made sure to rush the repairs and have the truck back to Berry Acres just so he could accommodate our request. Our wedding had 277 guests. Angela made sure the entire venue was cleared out after the reception so Justin and I could have our final dance which ended up being one of my favorite moments of the entire day.
The food is amazing! *shout out to BK* Many guests commented on the food taste and quality.
The dancefloor was a huge hit! It really adds a cool, unique feel to the room. Everybody had so much fun.
The FIREWORKS! Oh my word…we received an abundance of comments on how great the firework show was. They were professional quality, and the show lasted a LONG time. I’m convinced Alan is some sort of pyro wizard.
Angela and Jazmyn made sure our ceremony started on time (and even held back those who were running a little behind so they did not disturb others) and the rest of the day stayed on schedule as well. We had several guests comment on how smoothly the day went. Everything flowed so well.
Our florist, Hope (Lavender & Lace Floral and Home Decor) who is also located in Odessa worked directly with Berry Acres. The flowers were STUNNING. We were able to meet with Hope a couple of times prior to the wedding but she was also in contact with Berry Acres the whole time which was very helpful.
They allowed us to store pre-ceremony food in their coolers for the wedding party to have while getting ready (and even delivered it to our rooms), drop off a car load of decorations and desserts the day before (only because there was no event scheduled the day before) assisted with our dessert table, fixed the bustle on my dress mid-reception, personally served my husband and I’s drinks, stashed my veil after the ceremony, drove us around the grounds to take sunset photos, took my bouquet when I didn’t need it and then they would magically appear with it when I didn’t even realize I was going to need it…pretty much all of the tiniest details you didn’t know you would need help with. I’m sure there is a laundry lists of things I’m missing because I could rave about this venue and staff all day. When I tell you they are miracle workers, I mean it! Our day was truly stress free because of them and their excellent organization. If you are on the fence or are considering Berry Acres for your big day, DO IT! You will not be disappointed. I’m trying to think of excuses to have an event just so we can use them again! Lol

This venue is truly one of a kind. From the moment I stepped foot in it for the first time to the day I walked down the aisle, I was truly in awe of this place and everything they do. Their attention-to-detail exceeds any other venue in the Kansas City area by a landslide and the people that run the place won’t just meet your expectations, they will exceed them. They are absolutely phenomenal at what they do. And they seemingly just keep getting even better with every day that passes.
But more important than just being incredibly organized and great at wedding planning, Angela and Jazmyn will also take you in and treat you like family. These ladies won’t just become your event planners; they will become your wedding gurus, your confidants, your second set of hands, your shoulder to cry on, your comic relief when you need it most and your mind when you’ve finally lost yours.
A year before I got engaged, my dad unexpectedly passed away to colon cancer. Angela and Jazmyn were right there to help talk me through and plan a special song and dance with all 3 of my brothers in honor and in place of the father-daughter dance. They helped offer song suggestions, put a giant picture of my dad on the projector behind us and helped queue each one of my 3 brothers in when it was their turn to dance. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room when the song was over and I know I have them to thank for how special and memorable that moment ultimately turned out.
While I can’t tell you what venue to book for your wedding - what I can tell you is that if you book with Berry Acres, you absolutely won’t be disappointed. This place truly is top notch. The people there will do everything in their power to make your day as special as possible. And I honestly have yet to see anywhere else in the Kansas City area that even remotely compares. -

The Berry Acres staff far exceeded any expectation I ever had for my dream day. They are professional, knowledgeable, organized, and my goodness, you could not find nicer people if you tried. Alan, Angie, Jazmyn and the rest of the Berry Acres team know how to prepare for and host a seamless wedding weekend.
To further speak to the patience and care we were shown by this team, we were a COVID couple who had not one, not two, but three different wedding dates when everything was said and done. They bore the disappointment of date changes with us, and then when the celebration came, they were some of our biggest cheerleaders. The Berry Acres crew became family through the 2+ years they worked with us.
When our weekend arrived, there were a few specific things I noticed that make this team top of the line:
- Angie and Jazmyn always seemed to be RIGHT where you needed them to be, whether it was helping with set-up, filling mimosas, calming my mother, or any of the other million tasks I put on their plate for the day
- Angie is SO engaging with the wedding crowd, and works seamlessly with the DJ'ing to make announcements between songs so guests were never confused when to get food, when to go to the dance floor, what event was occurring next, etc.
- The Bar and Kitchen staff - if you didn't pay attention to them, you would have never known they were there. Plates were cleared timely, people were never waiting for drinks at the bar, and everyone had smiles on their faces and were pleasant to our guests.
- Alan, Angie and Jazmyn know the grounds well, and are so willing to offer picture advice of where certain wedding day events photograph best. I thought I knew where I wanted my first looks with my dad and groom to be, but Angie had even better ideas, and I can't begin to express how thankful I am that she spoke up, because I have pictures that I absolutely adore.
- ALAN AND HIS FIREWORK SHOW!!!!!!!!! I cannot say enough. He blew everyone's minds, and we had so many guests tell us it was the coolest fireworks display they've ever seen. Worth every single penny of the investment!
The list of ways they helped bring our dreams to life could go on and on, and if I was to do it all again, I can't imagine picking anywhere else other than Berry Acres to get married. They are simply the best! -

Berry acres my words can not express how happy I am that we ended up having our wedding with them! Long story short we had picked a different venue and due to COVID they decided to sell the farm so here we were on the hunt for a new venue. Berry acres was the first one we went to look at, immediately did I know I didn’t want to look anywhere else!!
The day of they make sure the day is ALL about you and you absolutely have nothing to worry about, very professional but also very personable! I loved getting to see their faces each and every time we had planned to see them I will truly miss it all!!
10/10 would recommend them to anyone their venues are beautiful! -

When my family and I went to tour, we immediately fell in love. The space alone was incredible but it was the Berry Acres team that made it the easiest decision of my life to book my wedding there.
Angela and Jazmyn made my wedding planning sooo easy as they took on the stressful side of it for me. They met with me multiple times to make sure that they had every detail to make sure everything went smoothly.... and let me tell you... they literally thought of EVERYTHING. I was so impressed with how much they love and care about their clients to spend so much time going above and beyond just so you don’t have to lift a finger.
We got married a few weeks ago and our wedding completely blew me out of the water. Our day was absolutely perfect. My husband and I can’t think of a single thing we would change.
They took care of us all night, helped sneak us out so we could go take amazing sunset photos during the reception, brought us our first drinks, guided us everywhere we needed to be, and Angela and Alan (her incredible husband.... talk about a power couple) ran the whole wedding as our DJ / Emcee... they also did a million other things but they were so amazing that I can’t remember it all. They are phenomenal.
Everyone I’ve talked to after the wedding has told me that it was the best wedding / venue they’d ever been to. I’d divorce my husband and marry him again just so we could have another wedding here.
I just can’t see there being anyone who would ever regret booking their event here... however i can 100% guarantee anyone would regret NOT booking their event here. Berry Acres is everything and you just can’t go wrong with having your event at this amazing venue.

Hello, I am the groom. I am writing this review because Berry Acres, Angela, Alan, and Jasmine all deserve the highest praise and applause for every expectation they exceeded.
I little background: My bride went to about 45 venues. I unfortunately couldn’t make them all. So, when she had her top 5, I jumped in to check them out. My first impression with Berry Acres was that it is beautiful. Simply put they have created a venue that can cater to almost any theme/design/fashion you want. Like all venues, they have rules about what you’re not allowed to do. They are very strict with these rules. But their ingenuity and creativeness allow for anything to happen. They do a fantastic job at straddling the line of executing your vision while maintaining the integrity of their rules. In fact, you tell them what you want, and they WILL MAKE IT HAPPEN.
After seeing the venue my bride and I sat down with Angela to discuss what the venue has to offer. They do not allow outside caters or liquor vendors. You are required to use theirs. Upon hearing that, I remember I did not like that. I figured they were just trying to ensure they could capture other parts of the market. Well, if that is what they are trying then let them. Because holy shit was the food incredible. We did buffet style with an open, well, bar. I cannot remember the amount of people who came up to me and told me that was the best wedding food they have ever had. We had the fried fish (it has been over a month since our wedding and I still dream about), their home style fries were also raved about. I am failing to remember what else we had but, I do remember that it was all great. I am telling you, any doubt you have about the quality of food should be forgotten. If you’re worried that they are going to pour short drinks, then stop worrying. Their bartender did an amazing job at making drinks including ‘the bride’ and ‘the groom’ drinks. It wasn’t like going to P&L where they pour every drink short/weak. It was like going to a bar in the crossroads that doesn’t measure their liquor out. THEY SERIOUSLY CARE ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE YOU AND YOUR GUEST HAVE.
In case you need any other reason to pick to Berry Acres over another the you should know how accommodating they are. Our wedding was planned for June 6th. Because of Covid we had to reschedule. Berry Acres ensured that we would have our dream wedding by allowing us to pick an available date later in the year while at the same time letting us keep our original date so we could do our legal wedding. They were extremely accommodating and made sure we also had enough time to put decorations up. the amount of stress from coordinating vendors can be huge. Berry Acres takes that stress away. I seriously cannot imagine another Venue delivering an experience that is on par with Berry Acres. Every Award they have and every good review they have is earned. Because Berry Acres a titan of the industry. Lastly, I, the Groom who had doubts starting on day 1, cannot thank Berry Acres enough for making my Bride and I’s wedding day the best day of my life. I could not have imagined a more perfect choice for our reception venue than Berry Acres. Berry Acres has a rustic/country feel to it, but Angela and Jazmyn ensured my elegant vision for our reception came to life. It was more perfect than I pictured! This venue can be used for ALL wedding themes! The staff at Berry Acres treated us like family; they're so friendly and were accommodating to every little detail we wanted to make our day perfect. The staff made sure that I did not have to worry about anything on wedding day. My other vendors made multiple comments on how stress-free I seemed to be and it was all thanks to Berry Acres. I've received so many comments on how amazing the food was (the fried fish is to die for), how beautiful the venue was, and how much fun they had at our reception. At the end of the night, Berry Acres even had a shuttle to take guests to their hotels and picked them up in the morning to come back to get their cars. Our guests were so thankful they didn't have to worry about a ride at the end of the night. Throughout the entire planning process, Angela and Jazmyn were easy to communicate with and worked around our schedules for planning meetings. We even had to reschedule our wedding due to COVID, but rescheduling was a breeze with them. I wouldn't change a thing about our reception at Berry Acres; we would choose them again and again! -

I’m not sure if there was a better place we could have chosen to get married in the KC Metro! From start to finish the staff at Berry Acres was incredible and they were accommodating throughout the whole process. We were fortunate to have Jazmyn Pederson as our coordinator, and to say she helped create the most perfect wedding day would be an understatement. She is an absolute sweetheart who put so much effort into every detail and who has a “get it done” personality! Jazmyn was there from the beginning of the planning process until the day of the wedding, and she never missed a beat in getting things taken care of.
Berry Acres is an all-encompassing venue which takes care of nearly every aspect of the wedding. Outside of finding a dress/tux, a photographer/videographer, and flowers, we didn’t have too much extra required of us. Berry Acres provided the food (menu chosen by the bride & groom), all the linens, chinaware, tables & chairs (which their staff sets up & takes down), options for ceremony locations, and many optional add-ons such as a DJ, Photo Booth, fireworks, & decorations. Not to mention they have countless recommendations for hair & makeup stylists, florists, and photographers/videographers.
Throughout the evening, numerous Berry Acres staff were there to help facilitate the event, buss the tables after dinner & keep everything running smoothly. Another neat aspect about the process was getting to know the owners of the venue itself. Angela & Alan Berry were so personable and down to earth and they made it a point to get to know each bride & groom considering their venue (at their quarterly Bridal Open Houses). They have so much energy and personality that helped bring life to our entire wedding.
I could go on but hopefully you get the picture!! There are so many aspects to the venue that have been given incredible amounts of thoughtfulness & an extra level of “flair”— a few of these things being the meticulously cared for lawn & venue itself, the abundance of flowers in the courtyard, a beautiful waterfall at the top of the hill for pictures, the ever-so-fun light-up dance floor & the over-the-top fireworks displays!!!! The staff at the venue goes above & beyond to provide a stress-free & perfect wedding day & I am so thankful that we decided on Berry Acres for this once in a lifetime day!!
P.S. I never would have thought I would have fried chicken at my wedding, but it was amazing & the guests loved it! -

The Berry Acres family truly went above and beyond to make my wedding day spectacular. As a previous reviewer noted, there are truly no words to describe how perfectly everything went. From the moment we met Jazmyn, we knew that we were in good hands. She is highly professional and detail oriented which made the planning process run smoothly. She is truly a rockstar! I would also like to mention the fact that the venue owners, Angela & Alan Berry, utilize a hands-on approach that I have never witnessed before at other venues/weddings that I have been a part of or attended in the past. That to me speaks volumes about how much they truly care about their clients. Even my photographer told me that Berry Acres is a gem of a venue that offers amazing customer service since the owners are directly involved with every aspect of each wedding. I had guests from California and New York who commented on the convenient location of the venue as well as the professionalism displayed by the entire Berry Acres family. The cherry on top was the fireworks display. Alan really puts on an amazing show that is the perfect way to end the night. No matter how big or small your wedding may be, they will be able to accommodate your needs. I highly recommend this venue to anyone who wants a beautiful wedding at a reasonable cost. Where do I even begin?! From the moment I stepped into Berry Acres I knew it was meant to be. Not only is the venue gorgeous and full of little hidden details that make it extraordinary, - Angela, Alan, and Jazmyn make you feel like part of the family. There is a bridal and grooms suite that is plenty big enough for your wedding party. The food options are plentiful, and you can’t go wrong with any of the options because they are all so delicious! Angela, Alan, and Jazmyn made my wedding day STRESS FREE… yes I said it STRESS FREE! My family was able to enjoy everything, and the Berry Acres crew went out of their way to make our day extremely special. You cannot go wrong with this venue! They also offer DJ services, photobooth, and a limo service all of which we enjoyed at our wedding. I had so many family members come and compliment me on my choice of venue because of how nice the staff was and how organized they were in keeping everything moving smoothly. Okay folks, get ready for a gushing review because I cannot hold back how absolutely amazing this venue is. Berry Acres is a beautiful property with an abundance of usable space. The grounds are impeccably kept (so many amazing photo opportunities!) and the building itself is so beautiful in that romantic, rustic way. There are so many small details that come together to really make it special. They hang your and your partner's names on the big sign outside of the venue (talk about butterflies!), they change the color of the lights to match your wedding colors... I could go on and on. The staff are truly what make this venue over-the-top amazing, though. Angela, Alan and Jazmyn took such good care of me throughout the entire wedding planning process, as well as the day-of. Angela was always willing to lend a hand, provide a suggestion, or direct traffic. She kept our day perfectly on schedule, which is a rarity in the world of weddings! Jazmyn was always available to check on those last-minute details, and made sure that she had all of my materials well in advance. I would wholeheartedly recommend this venue to any couple. -

Angela, Allan, Jazmin and all the staff at Berry Acres took every word and every imagination I had of my wedding day and made it happen. Every detail was planned and executed just as we asked it to be. The staff at Berry have this perfected. From the first time we met and spoke to them they felt like they were just as excited about our day as we were. They take the time with you to answer the million questions you have, they sit with you and help you through the music and even shed a tear or two in excitement for your day. They plan out the ceremony down to every picky detail and laugh through the craziness of my 5 kiddos! They truly are amazing and gave me the 'Dream Wedding' that every little girl dreams to have. Kristina Sent on 08/15/2018We cannot say enough good things about Berry Acres! We got married on June 22, 2018 and every single aspect of that day exceeded our expectations.
My husband and I knew that we didn’t want a long engagement, so within just a few days of our proposal we went to check out Berry Acres. It was the first and only venue we looked at in person — With only 3 and a half months to plan (and, the first 2 months of that being done from out of state), they were able to accommodate both our desired date and budget, which other venues had been unable to do. They also were able to accommodate our vision. Initially, I had some worries that my husband and I had a less rustic vision for our wedding day than many of the brides and grooms that Berry Acres serves. Our style seemed different than many of the pictures I had seen from the venue. BUT, from our very first meeting with Jazmyn she assured us that they would do anything they could to capture exactly what we wanted (and, they did. It was gorgeous beyond all I had hoped for, and you cannot beat the setting and facilities of Berry Acres).
It was also so appealing to me that Berry Acres is as close to a one-stop-shop as you can get! It was such a relief and lifted a huge burden off of me in the planning process to know that our venue, food, DJ, rehearsal and rehearsal dinner, as well as ALL of the day-of coordinating would be taken care of by the Berry Acres team. Brides to be, this is HUGE. As your wedding quickly approaches, it is so easy to have just one point person for ALL of these things!
The day of our wedding was a dream. There was never a moment where I felt stressed or overwhelmed. We were able to do all of our decorating the day before, and on the morning of the wedding, we showed up to the bridal suite and spent the day together getting ready with FULL confidence that every detail was being taken care of by Angela and her t -

Lindsey Sent on 07/17/2018I will never forget this place. Angela, Jazmyn, and Alan made our day so spectacularly special. We booked the venue over a year in advance and they made it a point keep in contact with me to see if there was anything we needeD. This venue made wedding planning so easy. The did the table cloths, food, drink, the lighting, DJ. And that DANCE FLOOR! That’s the thing that caught my now husbands eye. After we toured Berry Acres we went to one other place and it did nothing to measure up. For the price and all we would still have to do. No thanks. When the day finally arrived it was perfect. From mimosas in the bridal suite to the organized perfection of the ceremony to the funnest reception I’ve ever been to. We opted for the first dance cloud and I would absolutely recommend it! It’s so worth it, the pictures turned out so good and you could hear an audible gasp from the crowd when the dance floor lit up the cloud. Also in the deep heat of summer it felt really nice after being outside haha. Then there was the food. Almost every guest I spoke to that night had to tell me about how good the food was. We got married a little under a month ago and people are still raving about the food! It was the most beautiful wedding. I may be partial but truly it was the best day of my life. My husband and I were talking because we still are living on the high and he said the only thing he would change about the wedding is to be able to have another one. I just can’t say enough. Lisa Sent on 11/04/2017Our wedding day could not have been more perfect! Everyone told me that something HAS to go wrong on your wedding day just be ready for it. Truly can’t think of anything that went wrong or didn’t drastically exceed my expectations. The Berry Acres staff knows what they are doing. They have been in the wedding business in one form or fashion for a long time and that comes through in how organized they are.
They are very responsive and not pushy at all. They are open to your ideas and very helpful in making your day not just special but unique to you. In the meetings to help you get organized they walk you through everything and don’t miss a note. If you need to talk it through more than once in person, email questions, or call them they are very polite and patient. Oh and don’t worry they have it all documented in an end to end packet you can reference as well.
Day of, I did not have to worry about anything and neither did my mom. That was so IMPORTANT to me. My mom was stress free and so was I. They made sure vendors where there, I was happy, my bridesmaids had enough wine and the guys had enough beer. They kept us on task without being rude or aggressive and if they needed to be the heavy (by request) to get things moving they weren’t shy.
Couple of key notes:
- More than organized and extremely professional
- The venue, bathrooms and all, very clean
- Location is beautiful and the pictures you get
- They have a space for the girls and guys to get ready so once you are at the venue you don’t have to leave until the night stops.
- I ate on my wedding day and the food was out of this world good and everyone got plenty
- Staff is always on point and keeps the day going. If you decide you don’t want to do something they will turn on a dime and adjust.
- Photo booth was a big hit and the hardback book you get at the end is perfect.
- Fireworks… You HAVE to get the fireworks. A memory no one will forget! -

Debra Sent on 01/02/2017December 17th was the coldest day of the year and we were hit with an ice storm early that am. I-70 shut down and many guests including the bridal party and a chunk of family (and the bride) just couldn't make it early as planned. As the mother of the bride, I had planned on being there early to take care of a few last minute details (including setting up over 100 candles) and having time to get settled. When we called Berry Acres to tell them we were running very late, Alan and Angie got on the phone and gave us wonderful suggestions. Alan stepped up and saved the day, finding a place for us to meet the hairdresser and makeup artist to get started as did Angie - when we finally did arrive after getting stuck several times, all the candles were set up and lit, the venue was perfect, and everything I had planned on getting done was already done for me! The staff was ready and someone was in ear shot every single time I had a request or question. We kept changing the plan as the storm and people arriving late made it difficult to get before pictures, but the bride wanted snow and darn it not only did she have it, but Alan and Angie made sure the pictures were PERFECT. The food was amazing, and the staff made absolutely sure that I got to eat, relax and enjoy my daughters wedding. I found out later that each time something went wrong - they had a plan in place and just fixed it. These guys are pros. Seriously - something that could have been a horrible fail was perfect. Not just salvaged - perfect. These guys are wedding coordinators - lifesavers - they thought of things I never would have thought of and busted thier butts to make sure every detail was taken care of. Looking back at the pictures I am just now seeing how many things they did that I didnt have time to do because of the storm chaos. Seriously - You could easily pay a wedding planner to take care of your special day, or you could pay Berry Acres and get a team of planners for free.
