  Bernard's work is out of this world. We're so happy with our wedding photos, they look absolutely lovely. Since I saw Bernard’s page I was in love with his work and immediately wanted to book him - it was the best decision we could ever made. We had an excellent time with him and his assistant Ian, they were so nice and make us feel really comfortable. We can highly recommend Bernard!!!!

  Bernard's work is out of this world. We're so happy with our wedding photos, they look absolutely lovely.   Having Bernard at our wedding as our photographer was one of our best decisions that we made! Bernard is a calm person and very stress resistant. These attitudes and his pleasant demeanor have helped us to put away our nervousness and to fully enjoy the wedding. The end result (photos) is excellent. He has beautifully portrayed us, as well as our families and our friends. We received a lot of compliments, especially because his technique is characterised by an eye for detail and by finest nuances. Thank you so much for the beautiful memories Bernard!!!

  We had the pleasure of working with Bernard and assistant Nick for our wedding in Mykonos. Being remote for both of us Bernard was very helpful in the days before scouting the location and meeting up with us to discuss photo opportunities together. On the day they were friendly, helped us relax and we all had a good time. It was a hot day so we made them go and change into shorts - we wanted a very relaxed intimate wedding. It was great to have them stay for dinner as our guests and happily chat to people, which helped with more candid shots of our friends and family. We love our photos of the day and they help capture the fun and relaxed atmosphere we were hoping for. We would definitely recommend Bernard for any photography assignment.

  Bernard is just amazing. Despite the fact, that he shoots the best photos he is a very organized and calm person, which helped us a lot at our special day. He is not the photographer that follows you all the time, but he is just there in the right moments to take shots, that capture the mood of single moments. We can highly recommend Bernard.

  Bernard is absolutely amazing! His photos are so breathtaking that made us really pleased. The entire photoshoot experience was a tough journey but made fun with Bernard's humour and he was also very accommodating to our needs!

  Choose Bernard for sure! He is always smiling, and makes you feel so comfortable during your shooting.
  He uses bright colors, which match greatly with the surrounding landscapes. And he makes everything to find the best location for a perfect result.
  No rush at all during the day, but he has a such great technique that he needs just a couple of shots in each place, to create his final masterpiece.
  Definitely, you will fall in love with his great professionalism and his amazing shots, dreaming on your fabulous day also once back at home.

  Bernard and Nick were absolutely professional and their service were top notch that we could ever asked for. We love every photo that Bernard shot for us and also how creative he was to come out with all the poses as we felt really awkward in front of the camera and passerby. Would definitely recommend Bernard to others!!

  You made us feel at ease straight away with your kind nature, friendly approach and upmost professionalism. You we unobtrusive on the day and we didn't notice you were there most of time which is what we wanted and as a result have so great natural photos capturing special moments to our guest dancing the night away!

  My wedding planner gave me a list of photographers for me to choose. The minutes I looked at Bernard's website, I was so attracted by his amazing pictures. The wedding pictures came out stunningly beautiful. I highly recommend Bernard and promise he is the best.

  If you want a photographer that is flexible and will adapt to your needs, Bernard is the right person for you.
  
  My wife and I were looking for a professional to take candit photos, without interrupting and being noticeable. Bernard and his team were extremely flexible and discrete from the moment they went to my wife's family house to take photos during her preparation, as well as during the wedding ceremony and reception. They also stayed at the reception for 2 more hours than initially agreed!
  
  We couldn't be happier with the result. The photos were exactly what we wanted and in-line with the sample of Bernard's work we saw prior to deciding (www.bernardpretorius.com/blog). Clear and bright, while capturing emotions and facial expressions. Having the right equipment with allowed Bernard to take indoor and outdoor photos during a bright sunshiny day, at sunset as well as under low light conditions later in the night.
  
  Lastly Bernard has a super useful online CRM system in place that made contractual matters and payments very easy. When you have to deal with a bunch of different vendors while planning a wedding, you appreciate these little added extras that give you peace of mind.
  
  Thank you Bernard and we hope you can be our photographer on the day of our baby's Christening too!

  It is lovely to have such beautiful photos to show friends and family. Making the right decision on photographers was such a big deal to me, as the photos are all you have after the wedding - other than memories! I can truthfully say that we made the best decision. So much time, precision and effort went into photographing the day, bernard and nick stayed with us until the end of the party (2am) which meant we captured the preparations, ceremony and party.
  
  All of our guests enjoyed Bernard and nicks company, they are lovely, fun, chilled out guys that make you feel automatically at ease. I whole heartedly would recommend Bernard to anyone who is looking for a talented, very likeable photographer , who will capture every special moment of the day and evening.

You are both so easy to be around and we think that shows through in the pictures. Suggesting the "first look" was something a little different and turned out to be our favourite part of the day; you captured it so well and you can tell by our smiling faces how relaxed we were. The pictures were everything we could have possibly hoped for and more. All our guests have commented on the standard of the photos, slideshow and blog. The pictures captured our day perfectly and are a great way to look back on all those happy moments. Who needs a videographer when we have you!

  Who better to capture the vibrant colours of our beach wedding in Greece than Bernard? His photos speak for themselves. What we can speak for is his professionalism. Bernard and his second shooter Nick worked quickly and smoothly on the day, ever-present to capture each moment, but never interfering with the action. They were friendly and made our guests feel comfortable under the lens - an important task with a more intimate celebration. We were thrilled with the quantity and variety of photos we received. Bernard not only captured the memories of our wedding day, but he created works of art that we will display in our home and treasure always.

Bernard Skyped with us from Greece to South Africa he made us feel at ease with his friendliness and he was willing to go the extra mile. Bernard added on a pre wedding drinks photo shoot and stayed at our wedding till the end. The professionalism that we experienced was phenomenal. Bernard quickly bonded with every guest on our wedding which created an even more relaxed atmosphere. Lastly our photos are spectacular and Bernard captured every moment in its truest form.   We had our engagement party at Hotel Senia, Paros Island. My fiancee and me have never been to Paros. Bernard has been very helpful to suggest to me what time will be the best for my engagement party (around sunset time). He also showed me pictures of Hotel Senia that he took before. On the day, Bernard asked us to take some photos at the town first because the sun was still high. That helped me to get the perfect timing for our engagement party. Bernard also delivered photos quick (i.e. within 2 weeks). We are very satisfied with his professional service.

  We were extremely happy with Bernard's services, professionalism and the quality of his work. He was able to wonderfully capture our day without being at all intrusive and his photographs really told the story of our wedding.

  As you can imagine choosing a photographer for one of the most important days of your life is no easy task. We reviewed about fifty photography websites narrowing it down to a few but Bernard Pretorius Photography with the vibrant colours and attention to details really stood out. Our faith in the great service was confirmed when we met Bernard and his colleague Nick for our Engagement Shoot. They made as feel very relaxed doing the shoot and they were very friendly and did not rush us, as close up romantic photos are not something you have taken everyday!
  
  On our wedding day Bernard and Nick were so friendly and accommodating with our family and friends. They made us feel relaxed and kept smiling throughout the day; all the guests commented how nice our photographers were. They appreciated that it was our day and made sure we had time with our guests while sufficiently getting the shots we wanted despite the tight timelines. And at the end of the day they did not rush off instead they made sure we were happy with everything before they left.
  
  In the run up to the wedding and after Bernard was very quick to respond to questions and was very tolerant to our requests of which there were many. We knew we’d have to allow Bernard time to edit our photos and as you can imagine we were desperate to see them and relive the day. We didn’t have to wait long as the link to our 500 plus edited photos came by email three weeks after our wedding which was very impressive.
  
  Bernard is a wonderful photographer, professional but extremely friendly. We would highly recommend his work.

  From the pre-wedding shoot, where we got to meet you and Nick and had some time to get used to being in front of the camera and attempting not to laugh during every shot; to the wedding day, where you guys we so unobstrusive and kept things relaxed and light hearted; through to the amazing slide show and beautiful photos that we will have to remind us of a fabulous day. I especially love how you captured all the aspects of the day, from the serious to the fun, the guests, the details, the surroundings and the emotions.
  Our guests were particularly impressed with you, and we've had so many people comment on how friendly, unobstrusive and smart you both were - most of them assumed you were just another couple of guests at the wedding.

  We had Bernard as second photographer on our wedding in Paros/Greece. He had already experience to work with our main photographer and he did an amazing job!!! His main responsible was, to take photos of all the details and support the main photographer. We just can say, He is Amazing! Now words to describe our wedding pictures with all the love of details! Bernard really managed to capture the whole details and vibes of the wedding. We can't stop to watch on the pictures, they are simply perfect!!
