Our dream wedding photos!!!!!

We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding photographer than Bernard! From the moment we met him, Bernard was warm, friendly, and instantly put us at ease. He did our "engagement" session with us the day before our wedding, since we already had engagement photos when we chose him as our wedding photographer, which worked out so well—it helped us warm up to the camera and made us even more excited for the big day.

On our wedding day, Bernard and his second shooter Joe made everything run so smoothly. He guided us effortlessly, helped us feel completely comfortable, confident, and captured every moment with such care and talent. The photos are absolutely stunning—memories we will cherish for the rest of our lives.

And of course, you can always find Bernard on the dance floor having an amazing time!! He brought the best vibes, and the best results. We can't recommend him enough.

Made my day perfect!

Our wedding day was perfect because of Bernard! He made everything for us so fun and stress free! We felt so comfortable working with him from start to finish! He captured every special moment and the pictures came out so beautiful!!! One of my favorite moments was him capturing a first look with my son. Best photographer ever!!

Bernard was so responsive and accommodating throughout the wedding-planning process. He was easily the best vendor to work with because I knew he would respond quickly and his work totally lived up to my expectations (and beyond). Our photos were delivered to use via email less than 2 months after our big day (during the holiday season I might add!). We received our "teasers" a little over a month after, which was perfect for Thank You cards. Bernard got all the shots I asked of on my wedding day and they are simply flawless. I highly recommend him!

he will be the best decision you’ll make

Bernard is the man ! From booking with him to engagement photos to wedding - he did the most amazing job ! He is funny , patient , and all around talented . He answered all my questions promptly . Bernard listened to what I wanted and sure delieverd. He made everyone feel comfortable and beautiful . The pictures all came out stunning . His partner Massimo was also great. Bernard Alexis is an absolutely amazing photographer!! Not only are his photos insanely beautiful but he is so fun to work with! Bernard is amazing!!

Booking Bernard is a MUST!! He truly made everything so easy since the beginning. He answered all of our questions and made us feel so comfortable throughout the process. We knew he would be great from the day we signed the contract. Our engagement photos were beautiful and it really showed us Bernard’s creativity. We took them in Dumbo and he knew exactly where and when to take the photos. On our wedding day, him and his assistant Joe (who was just as amazing!) knew exactly what to do and when to do it. They made us feel so calm and comfortable throughout the entire day. Our teasers came out beautifully!!

Bernard also went out of his way to recommend our videographer, who was also great to work with that day!

We cannot wait for our photos!

Bernard came highly reccomended from a few friends who had used him in the past. From the start, he was so helpful in answering questions, recommending other vendors, and making my husband and I feel so comfortable taking photos. He ran the show on my wedding and kept everyone on track. He also had a second photographer join, Joe Gov, who is very talented and worked so well with Bernard! One of the most important things, if not THE most important thing to me for our wedding was our photographer. The pictures are all you get to keep after your day has come to an end. I found Bernard via a recommendation on a bridal group and loved his style. Bernard's pricing was very reasonable when compared to other photographers that I had looked at. After speaking to Bernard on the phone, I knew I wanted him to be our photographer. He is very down to earth and laid back to talk to, but organized in his work. We had an engagement shoot with him, which helped us get comfortable being in front of the camera, and know what to expect for the day of the wedding. I was very stressed in figuring out a timeline, as there were photos I wanted taken that were not with the bridal party, and Bernard helped me tremendously in figuring out a timeline to make sure everything ran smoothly. Having him at our wedding was like having a friend there. He made sure we got all the shots I had asked for, kept us running on time, and was communicative throughout the planning process. I couldn't have asked for a better photographer for the most important day of our lives! We are beyond thrilled with the pictures we received back and with his level of professionalism, skill, and communication throughout. Highly highly recommend! You will not be disappointed!

Bernard is amazing!

Bernard and his team were nothing short of amazing. From keeping us calm throughout the wedding planning process to adhering to all of our strange requests, to just their overall professionalism and empathy, I cannot recommend Bernard ENOUGH! You truly feel as if you are with family by the time your wedding arrives, which was extremely helpful the day of when so many things from weather to timeline went wrong. Bernard and his team were there to not only keep us calm, but capture every single moment. For example, my husband and I didn't get a chance to see any of our table settings or decorations, and we were so happy to discover Bernard captured it all. If it wasn't for Bernard, we wouldn't have even seen our food truck at the end of the evening (no one informed us it was there, but Bernard came and found the both of us and pulled us outside so we could not only grab a bite, but capture some super cute photos, too), and we are SO grateful for that. Bernard is not only patient but creative and has such a beautiful style. Even after the wedding, Bernard's turnaround time was INSANE! I did not expect to get our photos, and so many photos, as quickly as we did. I can wholeheartedly say this man goes above and beyond for his clients. We cannot recommend him enough and hope to work with him again in the near future.

Book him now! Bernard is incredible. Not only is he extremely talented but he is also a wonderful human. I am not very comfortable taking pictures so it was so important to us that we had someone who made us feel comfortable and listened to us. Bernard did that and more! He has worked with a lot of my bridal party and everyone was genuinely so excited to see him and remembered them all which speaks volumes! I wanted people a part of our day who would only make it better and Bernard 100% did just that. We were able to be fully present and just enjoy our day. Everyone around us said how amazing he was. Wonderful!

My husband and I clicked with Bernard as soon as we spoke to him on the phone. We felt like we knew him and automatically felt comfortable with him. Bernard was always a phone call, email, or text away if we needed anything. I’d like to share this quick story because it was extremely appreciated- one day Bernard was supposed to call me, and before our scheduled time to talk, he messaged me over instagram saying that his phone broke and he was in the Apple Store, and as soon as it was fixed he would call me right after. Like, who does that!?!? He was so reliable, patient, easygoing, and just REAL. Even though it poured on my wedding day, he made me feel relaxed and happy. He also was the only photographer I spoke to that told me he would come ALL day, even for 12 hours if he had to, and the price would not increase. He ended up staying for 10 hours which we were so thankful for. I definitely recommend using Bernard for your wedding, you won’t regret it!

Incredibly happy!

Bernard was such a pleasure to work with throughout my entire wedding planning process. He was so easy to talk to, plan with and be with. We met with Bernard for our engagement photos and felt so comfortable throughout the entire shoot while getting to know him. On our wedding day, he was punctual, professional, and just a pleasure, truly. One of a kind photographer!

For many brides picking a photographer might be one of the most difficult decisions. You have a vision of what you want your wedding day to be like and you need to find the right person to capture that moment to have forever. Bernard did just that. Starting from our first phone call he was awesome. He asked all the right questions and we got to know each other. Once we figured out we were a match, we booked our engagement shoot. I was nervous because I feel like I’m not photogenic at all. But not to worry, Bernard made us feel so comfortable. When we got the photos back, I was in awe. They were truly incredible and I could not wait for my wedding day. Fast forward 7 months to my wedding day. Bernard was at my house promptly and took initiative right away. He looked around to find the most perfect lighting for pictures and made sure to get every single detail. Also, we did decide to do a second photographer and it was the best decision. His assistant was just as amazing as him. He got shots of the guys getting ready at the hotel and then at the venue followed us around to get candid photos off to the side. My husband and the guys loved him!!

Once we got to the venue and did our first look the fun started. Bernard took us to all different cool spots he found at the place and made sure to get all different shots of us. We were able to fit in pictures of us, our bridal party and our immediate family all before the ceremony. During the reception anytime I wanted a photo or turned around to get a shot, Bernard was there. He has such a great eye for a good photo moment. Just 3-4 days after the wedding I woke up to the most amazing teasers. Almost 30 photos from our wedding day that truly blew us away. I can’t even imagine what the other hundreds will look like. My husband actually said, “we need to have another event in our life so Bernard can come take photos”. From his professionalism to his talent, Bernard is truly one of a kind and I would recommend him a million times over.

I cannot say enough good things about Bernard. He was our rock throughout wedding planning from helping with timeline to suggesting picture locations and so much more. He goes above and beyond a typical photographer. He made me feel comfortable on our wedding day and kept me calm. Only 2 weeks after our wedding I unfortunately lost my grandfather and I asked for some pictures with him early. Bernard not only sent EVERY picture with him in it he also did it within an hour of me asking. I cannot say enough great things about him.

October 9, 2022 (Nelson Wedding, Hampton Bays)

When picking a photographer for your big day, Bernard is hands down your guy! My husband and I heard about Bernard through a friend, and she highly recommended him. She had nothing but amazing things to say about him, and her wedding day pictures proved it! When we first reached out to Bernard, he was quick to respond. He also called, which was great because we spent some time on the phone getting to know each other. Speaking to him was like talking to an old friend! We knew right then and there he was the photographer for us. He was confident in shooting our wedding, even with our crazy requests, and we knew he could after speaking with him. My husband and I were never really fans of having our pictures taken, but when it came time to take our engagement photos Bernard made the whole experience amazing. He was even willing to take pictures on a sandbar in the middle of the bay! Although the timing didn't work out, he took the most beautiful pictures of us on the beach. We even asked at the last minute if our dog could join, and Bernard said "Of course!" without any hesitation. Even our dog, Hedge, became best friends with Bernard that day on the beach. Bernard is so willing to go above and beyond to get the most amazing pictures, and his true craft for the trade shows. Prior to the wedding day, I spoke with Bernard a few times, and he was always willing to listen and answer any questions that we had. He spent as much time on the phone with us as needed, always making time and showing how much he really cares. As for the day of the wedding, we cannot say or write more great things about Bernard! He spent the entire day with us with no limit. He truly was with us from the start to finish! Bernard added so much fun to our day as well as a sense of calmness, especially in my bridal sweet. He even took unexpected pictures we had asked him to take with such flexibility and ease. Not to mention, the three different locations he drove to for pictures of the guys, girls, and ceremony/reception. Bernard was also amazing with the guests! After the wedding, all of our guests went on to tell us how awesome he was. My favorite part is that he brought a change of clothes after our getting ready photos and put on a jacket and dress pants for the ceremony and reception. A simple detail that did not go unnoticed. Every time we look at our wedding day photos, all we can do is smile and relive the amazing and perfect day. Bernard truly captured our wedding, us, and the guests perfectly and the pictures show for it! We highly recommend Bernard and tell everyone we know who is getting married to use him!

Beyond Amazing

I swear by the grace of God I somehow found Bernard and he was available for my date 4 months before my wedding. We did engagement photos which helped us get to know him. He is unbelievably talented and captured our day beautifully. I wanted more photojournalistic and wanted my photos to tell a story instead of having video and Bernard NAILED that! I got sneak peaks back from my wedding the night after! And a whole gallery in about 2 months which was amazing. All my guests were raving about him and how friendly he was. Best Photographer, best day!

I felt an instant connection with Bernard from our first phone call with him. His prices were very reasonable and I felt I got a great deal. The day of our engagement photos was like my fiance and I were hanging out with an long time friend. We laughed and chatted the entire time and felt so comfortable throughout the photoshoot.
The day of our wedding was magical! Bernard was able to capture every candid and professional moment that we wanted. Looking back through our album, were able to live the entire day all over again.

Bernard was so wonderful, we could not have chosen a better photographer to capture our wedding day. I literally could not imagine another photographer shooting our engagement photos or wedding. Bernard really took the time to get to know us during our engagement shoot, and he so perfectly captured our personalities and relationship. Then he absolutely blew us away on our wedding day. Bernard started with us at 10:30am and shot for 14 hours - capturing every single picture, detail, and moment we could have possibly wanted and more. He was so patient with our ~rowdy~ family and friends and even managed to keep us ahead of schedule the entire day. Bernard has the best energy about him. 9/23/22 Wedding - Bernard is the best!

Bernard is the absolute best in every way. I don’t think I can even express in words how happy we are with our entire experience working with him and his team. We just got our pictures back and we are completely in love with them. He managed to capture every single moment that we wanted, plus so many more that we didn’t even know we wanted. When I was looking for a photographer, I knew that I wanted that ‘light and airy’ vibe, and Bernard’s work is exactly that. Not only is he amazing at what he does, but he is the nicest guy ever and really goes out of his way to make you feel comfortable throughout the day. His prices are also very reasonable which is obviously a huge plus. He also includes an engagement shoot in his wedding package which was great because we used those pictures for our save the dates and it also gave us a chance to work with him before the wedding. And all of the communication leading up to the wedding was great – he was always quick to respond. I could go on and on, but overall, we would 100% recommend Bernard to any couples looking for a photographer for their wedding!

Bernard is amazing - I wish I could have my wedding again just so I can hire him twice

Bernard was a favorite of ours from the day we signed our contract. He made us so comfortable at our engagement shoot that we knew we made the right decision for our wedding. He was so communicative and we truly enjoyed spending our whole day with him. Our teasers from our wedding came back so quickly and there wasn't one photo that we didn't love. Best photographer

BERNARD!! Pictures were on the top of our list for our wedding day, you will have them FOREVER. We are so happy to have gone with Bernard, he truly is TALENTED. Think of these pictures as an INVESTMENT, it is WORTH IT! As handsome as my husband is, he hates taking pictures so we were a little nervous for the engagement shoot. With the help of Bernard, even if he doesn't want to take credit, we slayedddd our Engagement shoot. The pictures came out natural and really captured who we are as a couple. This just had us EXCITED for the wedding day! He arrived and was READY to go before the expected time. We got a few pictures back as a preview from the wedding day and let's just say we are in LOVE with the photos, we have gotten sooo many COMPLIMENTS on how beautiful the pictures came out. We loved working with Bernard for our wedding!

Bernard is a really talented photographer, and an excellent person to work with! We are really happy with all our photos, and thoroughly enjoyed all our sessions with Bernard as well. He was super personable and made people feel at home in front of the camera, and even though both of us are bad at smiling at lenses, he made us feel really comfortable. Our posed shots are exactly what we wanted, and he also captured all the important moments of our wedding day efficiently and unobtrusively. Bernard was really organized and communicative, willing to meet with us multiple times before the wedding, and had an excellent system for delivering photos. He has a talent for communicating with the people he’s photographing - when we were feeling really nervous about logistics and stressed before the ceremony, he took us aside for a session that put us more at ease. Plus, the photos that came out of it were great! We couldn’t recommend Bernard more.

Captured the best day ever!

We love Bernard!

We knew we had to book Bernard the moment we had our first phone call with him. He was so kind, professional, and down to earth. He made us feel so comfortable and kept us laughing for our engagement shoot and wedding day. We got married at a vineyard Bernard never shot at before but you would never be able to know by the angles and shots he got. I also got ready at an Airbnb where there lighting wasn’t ideal and the rooms got a little tight (it was an older house) but Bernard stepped right in to move things around to get some incredible shots. His responses are timely and he is a joy to work with. The edits were amazing and we got our pictures back within a month of the wedding! Truly amazing! Thank you Bernard :)

Winter Wonderland Dream Wedding

MORE than we expected!!

After looking for months for a photographer, Bernard became the perfect fit to photograph our wedding! He is so kind, experienced and creative and we knew that he would take the time to capture our day perfectly. From our engagement shoot to our wedding, Bernard's photographs EXCEEDED our expectations and blew us away with how beautiful they were. Our favorite wedding vendor!!

Booking Bernard was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding! For both our engagement shoot and wedding day he kept us laughing and comfortable behind the camera the entire time. He truly is someone we enjoyed spending our whole wedding day with (because let’s be real you’re with your photographer almost the entire day, and it should be a presence you enjoy– it makes a difference trust me) Not only is he a great photographer, but a fantastic down to earth individual. He captured us in such an authentic way and told the story of our wedding day so beautifully through his work. Hire Bernard ASAP!

Honestly, I could have written this 5 star review for Bernard the day after my wedding but I waited to get our photos back and if I could give 10 stars, I would. Bernard is something special. Not only is he a beyond amazing photographer but he is so kind, warm and funny, and exactly someone you would want to spend the most special day of your life with. We planned our wedding during the height of covid, so everything was phone and zoom calls. We were hesitant to book a vendor so important like photographer after a phone conversation but we never had a thing to worry about with Bernard. When we met for our engagement shoot, we were so excited to finally meet him and we had the best time together. As for the day of the wedding--my grandma is STILL talking about how much she loved Bernard and his partner Nazar. Both of our families were so impressed with their professionalism but also how personable they both were. We had lots of laughs with Bernard and Nazar. As for the photos......I CANT EVEN. Stayed up til 230am after Bernard sent us our gallery going through them all. And looking at them brought seriously happy tears to my eyes after looking at all the special moments that were captured that day. HIRE BERNARD NOW. Seriously. I was honestly sad when the wedding was over that we wouldn't get to work with him anymore :/ but guess that means we will just have to hire him for our next life changing event ;) THANK YOU BERNARD!

Highly recommend!!

I highly recommend Bernard for wedding photography. We had a small wedding (~50 people) in December, and, because of the rise of COVID cases, we had to be flexible with timing and headcount. Bernard was incredibly patient with us, especially on the day of the wedding, as we did not have an official coordinator to organize details. We did not feel forced into awkward photos. Everyone was calm and genuinely laughing, in particular when Bernard had to help the bride button up the dress because the bridal party was stumped. =) It was a really fun experience, and Bernard felt like a friend. Highly recommend for all couples, but especially those with social awkwardness and those looking for a natural, photojournalistic feel.

Bernard rocks!

My husband and I booked with Bernard in January of 2020. We were looking for a reasonably-priced photographer who specialized in organic, not-too-overly-edited photos, and Bernard totally fit the bill! When COVID struck unexpectedly, Bernard was so communicative, and worked with us to plan a safe and fun engagement shoot on Coney Island in June of 2020, even willing to drive out there and meet us at 5:00 AM for the best lighting. During our wedding on 11/12/21 at the Fox Hollow, Bernard was a consummate professional, while still being very down-to-earth and creating a comfortable environment for us and our bridal party. He had our amazing teaser shots back to us within 48 hours, which everyone RAVED about. Highly, highly recommend!

I cannot say enough good things about Bernard. From the moment we first spoke with him over the phone, to our engagement pictures, to everything in between, and then lastly, our wedding day, he put us completely at ease. He is truly an expert at what he does (it's evident in the way he executes photoshoots and the finished products, of course) and on top of that, he makes the entire experience so much fun! Throughout my wedding day he grabbed us for the important pictures we'd know we'd want to have without disrupting the flow of our day or any of the dancing! Simply the BEST!

We knew Bernard was going to be our wedding photographer from the first phone call. He's so easy to get along with and is always good for a laugh! Our wedding party and family raved about his personality weeks after the wedding! One thing that I will remember forever, the day of our wedding getting ready in the suite with my girls, I was going into a "black hole" of thoughts in the hair and makeup chair and starting to get nervous. In walks in Bernard with his HUGE personality saying "where's my girl?!?!?" and gave me a huge hug and kiss on the cheek. At that moment the energy just lit up and I was sure it was going to be a great day, and it was. Our pictures came out absolutely beautiful and we had so much fun. The BEST Photographer!!!

We had our wedding on 11/07/2021 & having Bernard as our photographer was the best decision we could have made. From the first phone meeting we had with him, he was amazing - honest, upfront, and kind. I could tell we were going to vibe together great, and then our engagement session solidified that! Then on our wedding day, Bernard (and Massimo, the second photographer), made our day to run so smoothly. We had a very large bridal party of 16, plus families, and they really took charge and did a fantastic job.

Our friends and family still comment about how great he was, and how calm and fun he was. Then, when we saw sneak peeks of our photos, we were absolutely in love. We can't wait to see more!

I can say this for certain: Bernard truly loves what he does, and it shows through his work. He genuinely cares about his couples. He's not just there to "get the shot". He takes his time to make sure he captures your personalities, and the story of your love on your day. You can trust that you will be in the best hands booking him for your wedding, or anything else. We cannot recommend him enough!

Hands Down the Best Wedding Photographer!!

We love Bernard! He’s so incredibly kind, easy to work with and skilled at what he does. I was nervous about feeling awkward in front of the camera, but Bernard made me feel so comfortable during our engagement shoot and, of course, again on our wedding day. Bernard worked with us leading up to our wedding and made us feel so comfortable that everything would be captured as we wanted. My husband and I are thrilled with how all of our wedding photos turned out! It’s going to be really tough narrowing them down to pick the ones we want to include in our album! Everything about the photos are beautiful. Bernard’s second shooter for our day was Danny. He was also amazing and made us feel at ease in all our photos. The two of them make a great team! Bernard was amazing to work with... and that is an understatement. He posed us for every photo- made us look and feel good even though we never had any experience with getting photos done. Best choice to capture our special day

Bernard was the absolute best choice I could have ever made to capture such a special day. He is genuine, laid back and truly cares about the couple. From day one he provided an above average experience when he met us at our local coffee shop to meet for the first time - he focused that meeting on getting to know the both of us as a couple, how we met, what we like most about each other and our interests to ensure he catered the experience to our unique needs. After that meeting we knew we had to book him. On our engagement shoot, Bernard was laid back and found beauty in every moment not worrying about the time we were spending (30 minutes turned into an hour and a half because we were having so much fun!) He would stop us when the light was hitting just right and even provide some helpful guiding tips since neither of us have been photographed like this before. On the day of the wedding he adjusted seamlessly to anything that didn’t go according to plan and made it fun for all of our bridal party members. He even went out of his way to ensure that my “must have” photo was captured even when I doubted we would have enough time. If you’re looking for someone who will capture the beauty of your day while also making sure the couple is having fun and relaxed - book Bernard now!

Truly Talented Photographer

Bernard is nothing short of amazing at what he does. From the moment my husband and I met Bernard it was an instant vibe connection, which for me that was a huge part of our decision making. We are so happy that we got to work with Bernard as our wedding photographer! From the first time we met him all the way through rescheduling our wedding during the pandemic, Bernard was so accommodating and responsive, which was so helpful! He is such a pleasure to be around and he makes you feel such at ease in front of the camera, it felt like we had a friend capturing our special day. He truly invests in his couples’ happiness and made the whole process easy going. Bernard is incredible.

Choosing Bernard as our wedding photographer was the best decision of our wedding. He is so talented. Bernard is accommodating, responsive and an absolute pleasure to be around. Photos and photo style were very important to me. I spent a lot of time researching photographers and I was blown away when I came across Bernard’s Instagram page. Bernard’s photos are not cookie cutter or basic he’s a true artist. Bernard is invested in his couples and he creates a real relationship with them. We loved Bernard so much and the photos he captured of us and our wedding day are so special. I’d hire Bernard a hundred times over again.

Beautiful artistic, natural, candid photos

My husband and I were looking for a photographer who could capture our day as naturally as possible. We weren't looking for posed photos but rather truly in the moment images. Bernard's photos were initially what drew us to him, but after speaking with him, we loved him even more. He made us laugh and made us feel so comfortable. He truly understood exactly what we were looking for and helped us pose to help us look our best, and took photos of every detail of the day. Our photos came back within weeks of our wedding and they were all truly impeccable. He took some of the most candid and artistic photos. I will treasure these forever. I highly recommend him and his team.

Bernard made our photos stress-free!!

Bernard was so amazing to work with! He was kind, funny and very personable. I really have no idea what to do when it comes to posing for photos, but Bernard has all the experience and knows what to do! He made our photo sessions fun and easy! I felt like I made a friend! We just received our wedding album, and the photos are AMAZING!!!! I get the chills looking back on our special day, and he made that happen. You have to put a lot of trust in someone to take your wedding pictures, and I 100% recommend Bernard. :)

LOVED working with Bernard!

Bernard is talented, personable, and absolutely someone you want on your team the day of your wedding, I highly recommend him! He did the photography for our wedding and our engagement shoot. For the engagement shoot we got the photos back within a month, and they were absolutely gorgeous. The website for viewing the images and downloading them was also very easy to use.
As for the wedding, he was wonderful. He kept everyone laughing and put people at ease; all of my bridesmaids said he was the nicest guy they met and they really enjoyed hanging with him throughout the day. My maid-of-honor even said that if she gets married, she would want him as her photographer. He made everyone feel comfortable, and I think the pictures will definitely showcase that. He’s sent me a sneak peek image from the wedding, and I absolutely love it. The colors, placement, and background look stunning, I really don’t know how he does it!
And that brings me to the best quality of Bernard’s, and that is he has a vision. I really didn’t have many ideas by way of photography, including what I wanted to have pictures of and who. It was honestly all a little overwhelming! But Bernard listens to your thoughts and ideas (even if you only have a few) and then extrapolates it. He created little photoshoots with everything—shoes, dress, veil, rings—while we were all getting ready, and then had lots of great ideas for taking pictures with everyone in the bridal party as well. I really didn’t have to worry about anything, he knew what I liked and what he wanted to take pictures of and I felt completely comfortable leaving it all in his hands. He would periodically show me photos he had taken on his camera, and I was shocked by how pretty I thought I looked! I feel like I don’t normally photograph well, but he knows all the good angles.
The best part of all, I’ve had guests tell me they really liked him, and my mother-in-law mentioned that he was always there to take a picture of anything significant or funny happening at the wedding. He did all this while still keeping to the background.
I loved working with Bernard, and I highly recommend that others hire him for their weddings or any other special events! You absolutely won’t regret it!

I cannot say enough good things about Bernard Alexis Photography!!!

I was in a pinch to find a wedding photographer about 2 months before my wedding and Bernard was our saving grace! I am SO happy I stumbled across his info, he was a pleasure to speak with, explained everything on the phone and really took his time to create the perfect wedding package for us that fit our budget. He worked AMAZINGLY well with my videographer, you would have thought they were a team! He was so professional and so sweet, my husband and I do not like taking pictures at all, in fact we were very hesitant to even book a photographer, but I am SO happy I chose Bernard he made things so comfortable, simple and easy for us. The most amazing the about Bernard - his turn around time. I was SHOCKED at how quickly I received all my photos after hearing other couples horror stories on how long it took for them to get their photos. The photos were absolutely perfect, he truly was outstanding at capturing all the special moments of our day, when I was looking through the photos I really felt like I got to re-live the experience. I can't say enough amazing things about Bernard Alexis Photography. Both Bernard and his assistant were so incredible to work with. They made the day fun and stress free and still managed to get all the amazing photos we wanted. Five stars is not enough!

We hired Bernard for our wedding and engagement photos and couldn't be more satisfied with his service. He was incredibly patient with us and met with us one-on-one multiple times ahead of our first shoot. His incredibly friendly demeanor immediately put us both at ease. Both my wife and I are naturally private people and neither of us would say we feel particularly comfortable in front of the camera or being in the spotlight, but Bernard was great at making us laugh and allowing our true personalities and love for one another to come through in the photos. During our engagement session and wedding day, he made us feel so comfortable that we forgot the cameras were even there. He was also incredibly accommodating in our engagement photos by allowing our little (and uncooperative!) dog to participate, and he captured photos of us all together that we will cherish forever. He was meticulous in his preparation for the wedding, asking us in the days leading up which shots we wanted, who we wanted included, etc. and in hindsight, we are SO glad that he knew which questions to ask, because there was literally not a single moment or person left out of the photos. He did such a wonderful job at capturing our big day, and our smiles are beaming every time we look through the album. The whole process and end result couldn't have turned out any better and we cannot recommend him HIGHLY enough.

Highest reccomendation

We hired Bernard for our engagement and wedding photos. Only after just meeting him, we recommended him to my brother and his fiancé because he was just such a GOOD GUY. We knew we would be comfortable with him on one of the biggest (and most stressful) days of our lives. And day of the wedding, he was fantastic. He was calm, professional, and fun. He felt like a friend. We have already asked him to take maternity photos when the time comes! We say one of our biggest regrets of our wedding is that we didn’t get a picture of him with us. Beautiful photos, great guy, we can’t recommend him enough.

My husband and I used Bernard Alexis for our wedding day on 11/4/17 and it was one of the best choices we made when planning our wedding!!!! Bernard is truly SO talented in his picture taking abilities and has "the eye" that every bride and groom wants for their pictures. Not to mention he is kind, funny, humble, flexible, accommodating, extremely professional and made us both feel super comfortable in front of the camera (which was a concern of ours that quickly faded once we took our engagement pictures). Bernard and his assistant captured the most important day of our lives so beautifully and you cannot put a price tag on that!!!!! I would recommend him to anyone; my best friend is using him next year and another one of my friends used him last year. Working with Bernard as our photographer was one of the easiest and best decisions that my husband and I made during our wedding planning. From the start he was very responsive and made us feel very comfortable! On top of all of that his work is incredible and he captured our day perfectly. We were so worried about having someone follow us through out the day but Bernard & his partner, Marsen, really fit in with our family, friends and loved ones to capture all of the intimate moments without making anything feel too forced. Bernard is a truly gifted photographer with an incredible eye. Words cannot express how happy my husband and I are that we chose to work with Bernard on our wedding day. My husband and I are two of the least photogenic people on the planet...we are awkward and uncomfortable in front of a camera and shy away from photos at every opportunity. I was dreading having to pay for pictures that I would hate and regret taking once I saw them.

Once we met Bernard, we knew that this would not be the typical "pose and smile" type of shoot that we so despise. His affable nature and sense of humor put us at ease, and we had a blast taking our engagement photos and were beyond pleased with the results. The process was fun, and working with Bernard was like hanging out with an old friend. Without any plan for our engagement shots, we let Bernard follow his eye and ended up with incredibly unique, gorgeous pictures I couldn't have thought of taking even if I had been scouring Pinterest for inspiration.

On our wedding day, Bernard and fellow photographer Marcin were such a joy to work with. Bernard had me cracking up as I went through the whole "Should I smile? Where do I look? Where do my arms go?" routine. He was very patient and was able to get natural shots that captured the emotion of the day. We ended up having heavy rain on our wedding day, but Bernard was quick to come up with ideas that gave us beautiful pictures. He went the extra mile at every turn. He got very wet. I even trusted him to take my not-yet-donned wedding dress outside in the rain to get a gorgeous shot and I was so glad I did-the picture was perfect.

I have been in many weddings and our experience with Bernard was like no other. His professionalism, craft, and personality are unparalleled. I can not express how fortunate we were to have worked with such an talented photographer and such an awesome person. You're the best Bernie!! SO, so highly recommended.

After searching for a photographer who took natural photos but also really understood lighting, I came across Bernard's work. I was thrilled with his portfolio and could not wait to book him! Bernard and his team were one of the absolute highlights of our special day. Bernard and his second photographer Marcin were not only warm and easy to work with, but they also kept us laughing and smiling the whole day. We never felt over posed or uncomfortable. Bernie is an exceptional, truly skilled photographer. His flexibility and ease during all aspects of our wedding day provided a perfect harmony of subtle, candid shots and beautifully directed portraits. He worked as a "fly on the wall" while we both were getting ready (to the point where we truly forgot he was there!) and found ways to gorgeously integrate our various accessories (jewelry, pocket knife, socks, clothing, bouquet, boutennieres) with the decor of the wedding venue, creating photos that are memorable and unique to our day.

His easygoing nature and lighthearted sense of humor helped him to blend in perfectly (WITH EVERYONE - my mom is still raving how much she loves him)! And he is NOT afraid to go the extra mile for that perfect shot - I don't know that I've ever witnessed a man army crawling in the desert to get a wedding portrait!

Bernie is passionate about his process and his artistry; this in turn resonates with his personality and the finished product. My husband and I weren't sure how awkward we would look in our photos just by nature of our goofy personalities - but Bernie coached us quickly and captured the best elements in all of our images; they are natural, emotional, and memorable. Bernard was GREAT!!! We used him for our engagement pictures in September 2016 and then at our wedding on 10/22/16. Working with him is like working with a friend you have known for years. He made us feel very comfortable on such an overwhelming day. Even when I didn't have my wedding day schedule set, Bernard was ready to roll with the punches! He was able to get all of the pre-wedding stuff, the guys and girls, even when us girls were 20 minutes away from the guys in a hotel getting ready. At the wedding he was never in the way or stopping us every second of a picture, like everyone said photographers do, we were able to enjoy our wedding while Bernard was snapping away taking amazing pictures! Bernard has a down to earth personality and he was such a pleasure to work with!!!

I could not be more pleased with Bernard as a person and artist. He is accommodating, talented and easy going. My fiance and I took our engagement photos in November with Bernard and were extremely pleased with the experience and the results. The shoot was supposed to be 90 minutes however, he spent at least two and a half hours with us and our golden retriever. My fiance and I do not conform to the selfie happy picture snapping culture and therefore feel a little uncomfortable behind a camera however, Bernard made us feel at ease. His reassuring manner made us feel comfortable making our pictures look natural rather than overly orchestrated. I am really looking forward to working with him again on our Wedding Day in July!
