The Reefs Wedding June 2025

Emily helped make our dream wedding come true! We live in New England so planning a destination wedding comes with its challenges, but Emily made it a smooth process and was very responsive. Everything came out perfect including the decor, the food, the minister (Pastor Dean Smith), the DJ (Allstar Productions), and the fire on the beach! We had several people tell us it’s the best wedding they’ve ever been to. The Reefs is a beautiful location only 20 minutes from the cruise port and Emily helped coordinate the transportation for all our guests. The venue has a wide variety of options to accommodate your budget. We definitely recommend both Bermuda Event Solutions and The Reefs for anyone looking to plan a Bermuda wedding, you won’t regret it!

Perfect Bermuda Elopement!

We hired Emily and Kathleen from Bermuda Event Solutions. They made the planning simple and easy. We arrived via cruise ship, and everything went exactly as planned. When deciding to elope in a foreign country you never know what to expect. They took care of the everything and left the dress shopping up to us! The perfect wedding thanks to Kathleen!

My husband and I had a destination wedding at The Reefs. We’d never been to Bermuda before and unable to visit during the planning process. Luckily, it all worked out beautifully due to fantastic wedding planning services from Kathleen.

From start to finish, Kathleen gave valuable suggestions that not only showed her familiarity with and connections in Bermuda, but also her wedding planning expertise. We thankfully took her advice with everything, because once we got to Bermuda, we realized she was right every single time. This ranged from where our hotel block should be and the best vendors to how much food there should be in the cocktail hour.

The day of the wedding, she was everything you would dream to have in a wedding planner: supportive (ran to grab me water and sweets right before the ceremony when she saw I felt faint), unobtrusive (easy to find, out of the way yet smoothly coordinating the timeline and vendors), and so professional. Beyond that, we’ve always been really comfortable with her as she has a great personality, so it was doubly nice to have her there on what is often a stressful day.

Ultimately, I was a bride who wanted a beautiful destination wedding without the stress, and Kathleen was able to achieve that for us. All of our guests were very impressed. We truly had the best day of our lives and were able to enjoy everything without worrying about the small details. We’ve already recommended her services and our venue to a few friends who might be looking into a destination wedding. Thanks, Kathleen!

Emily created the PERFECT wedding

We could not be happier with our experience with Emily from start to finish. From Day 1 we felt like we were in good hands. She helped us to plan the perfect wedding and made sure that it came in within budget (without sacrificing anything meaningful). She was always immediately available to answer questions and address concerns and always had a positive attitude. She is a great problem solver. Working with Emily significantly reduced our stress levels, which is greatly appreciated. She has vast experience and great relationships with Bermuda’s venues and vendors. I could go on and on about how positive our experience with Emily was. If you are planning a wedding in Bermuda, in our opinion it would be a mistake not to contact Emily. I can't say enough about our wedding planner Kathleen! From start to finish, she was beyond helpful, organized and absolutely delightful to work with. With a destination wedding, you're putting all of your faith into someone to take care of all of the planning and execution of the big event. And she delivered! Amazing experience with Kathleen

I can’t recommend Kathleen at Bermuda Event Solutions enough. She was amazing. We had our wedding at The Reefs and had to book everything without seeing it, as we were coming from overseas. Kathleen guided us every step of the way, even helping with little things like booking a rehearsal dinner. She was always responsive and flexible. As we got close to the wedding I feel like I emailed her 3 times a day but she was always happy to help. And on our wedding day she was INCREDIBLE, taking care of every detail so we could just relax and enjoy the day. Thank you Kathleen!

Kathleen (and team) are the best - Choose no one else!!

Kathleen is just amazing!! My fiancé and I had this crazy idea to get married in Bermuda and within about 6 weeks Kathleen made our perfect day happen. She was super responsive, answered all of my questions, offered advice and just made everything easy. We arrived in Bermuda a couple of days early to really soak everything in and enjoy the experience and that's when I spoke to Kathleen for the very first time. She planned every detail by email and never missed a beat. I emailed her a picture of the flowers I wanted, and viola that's what I got!!

On the morning of our big day, I called Kathleen and said "Ahhhhh there's rain in the forecast!!"... She calmly gave me all options and we decided to change our date the morning of the wedding! Kathleen went out of her way to rearrange everything... yes, everything on the morning of my wedding day!! She hired new vendors and set everything up while I sat on the beach sipping a cocktail without a single worry because I knew I could trust her. The vendors she selected were so amazing as well (hair, make-up, minister, photographer, videographer) - everyone was super friendly, professional and just wonderful.

Our (rescheduled) wedding day could not have been better! I wish I could go back and do it all again because every detail of the day was perfection. Kathleen even held my veil so I could get a perfect picture - who else would do that! Kathleen and her team can't be beat and my memories of Bermuda are so special. I appreciate every little detail!!

A Destination Bride's Best Friend

I cannot thank Kathleen Dodwell and her team at The Reefs in Bermuda enough for the easiest and most enjoyable wedding planning process ever! I am newly married, as of October 6th, 2018 and had the pleasure of working with Kathleen while planning my wedding from New Jersey for a little over a year. Upon speaking with Kathleen over the phone during our first interview my fiance and I knew that she was the right choice for us. We are a very busy couple and wanted someone to "hold our hand" throughout the process and Kathleen did that and more. She contacted us when we needed to make decisions and helped us select the absolute best vendors so research was minimal on our end. Kathleen's tireless work ethic and attention to detail shined through on our wedding day/weekend. It is one thing for the bride and groom to think that they had the best wedding ever but for all of your family and friends to make the same remark means that it truly was THE BEST DAY EVER! I would recommend Kathleen and Bermuda Event Solutions to any and every bride and groom who is looking to get married in Bermuda because she is the "Gold Standard" when it comes to communication, professionalism, attention to detail and knowledge of craft.

Kathleen Dodwell at Bermuda Event Solutions was the best! From our first chat on the phone back in November 2016 we knew we had to work with Kathleen in planning our destination wedding. Our June 2018 wedding at Coral Beach Club was everything we could have imagined and more. Kathleen made planning from NYC easy, after talking on the phone and getting an idea of our overall vibe, guest list size, and budget she narrowed down our venue options to 3 for our January 2017 planning visit. After selecting Coral Beach as our venue Kathleen was able to coordinate EVERYTHING else with our vendors- band, flowers, transportation, photography, makeup, etc. We loved all the vendors she selected for us and couldn’t have been happier. I loved working with Kathleen because I felt like I could be as involved (the menu) or uninvolved (table top settings) in decision making as I was comfortable - After meeting twice I knew she “got us” and totally trusted her choices and input. We also never felt any pressure around budgeting, there was no up-selling or awkwardness around our choices.

Kathleen helped us with everything from planning our family rehearsal dinner, buying supplies for our welcome bags, to even giving us a ride to our catamaran in her own car when our taxis were MIA!

Our wedding day was seamless, we and our parents truly got to enjoy the wedding as guests- there was no scrambling to make any last minute changes or talking with vendors, Kathleen handled everything. Our guests (all 110 of them) kept saying it was the most beautiful and fun wedding they had ever been to! We are so happy with our wedding and would recommend Kathleen to everyone!

Emily was instrumental in making our day run as smooth as possible. Kathleen was absolutely amazing. My family and I are so thankful that we were able to work with her to plan my husband and I's dream destination wedding. Kathleen from Bermuda Event Solutions planned our wedding at The Reefs. We choose to get married in Bermuda because we wanted a small (27 people) stress free wedding. Kathleen was absolutely amazing and managed to make the entire planning process completely stress free! I had never been to Bermuda before but I felt completely comfortable having Kathleen plan everything for us. I sent her several pictures for inspiration and she choose the minister, flowers (Flowers by Gimi), musicians, transportation, everything! Everything was better than we could have imagine. Our wedding was a dream! We had it at the Reefs and worked with Emily Boden. Emily was fantastic and made everything so easy. She was so accommodating. Her laid back demeanor put us all at ease. Kathleen at Bermuda Event Solutions made all of our wedding dreams come true! Our first meeting with her was also our first time in Bermuda. We were planning to view multiple venues during our stay but instantly fell in love with the idea of having our special day at The Reefs. It was exactly what we had envisioned for an intimate group of 25. From the setting to the amazing staff and the flexibility to make all of the details of our day exactly what we had imagined, it was perfect!

The planning process was very simple. She would send us the options, we would choose and she would take it from there. That was it.

On the day of, she was there to make sure everything went according to plan. It was because of her that we had no bumps in the road. Because it was the beginning of the season, we were able to have our reception at Coconuts with complete privacy. After dinner, she arranged an area on the beach for us surrounded by tiki torches. The venue, photographer, Pastor, violist, steel pan, food/beverages and even weather were all better than we could've imagined going in.

Kathleen gave us a completely stress-free and magical wedding experience, from start to finish. I will always recommend her and The Reefs to anyone I know thinking about getting married in Bermuda.

We met Kathleen when we visited Bermuda to look at wedding venues. We loved her and hired her immediately. From start to finish, she was absolutely amazing. She listened to everything we wanted, was incredibly responsive during the planning process, and found us the most wonderful vendors. On the day of the wedding, rain was threatening. She kept us calm, quickly switched some plans, and the result was a perfect day. Every single one of our 95 guests commented that it was the best wedding they had ever attended. I do not even know where to start! My husband and I decided a year ago that we wanted to get married in Bermuda. The marriage process in Bermuda seemed easy, especially living in the US. I shopped around for wedding planners online and was pleased to find Bermuda Event Solutions. I spoke to Emily Boden who was great every step of the way over the past few months via email and phone. She made it EASY, no stress wedding??? Is that even possible??? YES. It was. I sent her images of ideas of what I wanted and she made them all come to life.

I didn't do a trial run, never been to Bermuda, had no idea what to expect really but the entire day was magical.
Emily actually had a prior vacation planned so she explained to me early on that she would still love to plan my wedding but she would have someone else fill on on the actual wedding day. Christina( who was just as sweet and amazing and made the entire day smooth)
I called Christina the moment I arrived in Bermuda and she had everything all set and ready to go for me down to the hair and makeup appointments, flowers, transportation, music, ceremony, and even cocktail party. She was fantastic. We got married on the beach at Stonehole Bay (where Emily recommended, and had a breathtaking view and cocktail party at Casos Point) It was a hot day and Christina and her boyfriend were there the entire time making sure everyone was okay and happy. My pictures turned out amazing. All 32 guests are still telling me how perfect my wedding way. I would recommend them to anyone planning their wedding in Bermuda. Simply amazing. 10

I worked with Emily Boden of Bermuda Event Solutions, for approximately 7 months, to plan my destination wedding. I can't begin to describe how perfect it all was. Emily was wonderful. She made planning my Bermuda wedding, from Massachusetts, so easy. She took care of everything according to my specifications and understood exactly what I was looking for.

The Reefs was more beautiful than I could have imagined. Days later, my guests are still raving about the dinner at Coconuts. The officiant, photographer and violinist that Emily set up were wonderful and the cake and flowers were exactly what I wanted. Unfortunately, Emily couldn't be there the night of the wedding but she made sure Christina was there to make sure everything went off without a hitch.

I can't say enough about our experience to do it justice. Thank you for everything. It really was just perfect in every way.

Bermuda Events Solutions was top of the line. Kathleen was responsive and always had our vision in mind when making recommendations. She thought of things we hadn't thought of in advance and was on top of so many details all at once. We were blown away by every single one of our vendors (Gavin Howarth Photography, Flowers by Gimi, The Reefs Resort as a venue, DJ All Star for music, Moongate Productions for videography) and she clearly has a good relationship with all of them from previous events. She was calm and organized and our day was absolutely perfect, large part due to her. We would recommend Bermuda Event Solutions and all of these vendors to anyone looking to get married in Bermuda.

Before I even knew I was engaged, my mom had contacted Kathleen about meeting with my husband and I on our vacation (where we got engaged). Kathleen was quick to respond, and set up an appointment. We met Kathleen a year before our wedding, but we felt confident from the first second! She was extremely responsive, organized, and helpful. Any questions or issues that arose were answered and taken care of quickly. We are from the states, but Kathleen made time to meet with us when we were vacationing in Bermuda, which was really appreciated!

Emily Boden at Bermuda Event Solutions did a wonderful job helping me plan my destination wedding. I didn't know anything about planning an event like this, and she was very patient with me, making suggestions on how others have handled similar situations. She was always calm and easy about getting me the few extra or special requests I had. For example, I really wanted cheesecake for dessert, and although it wasn't on the official menu, it wasn't a problem at all. She contacted vendor on the island on my behalf and even contracted with them on my behalf to make the entire planning experience very painless. Emily was also extremely responsive and fun to talk to. I never felt overly stressed about anything. I'd recommend her in a heart beat to anyone I know.

Emily did a great job as our wedding coordinator. She also suggested other activities for our guests to do on their visit. Her suggestion of a sunset cruise on the Rising Sun II was very helpful. We had a fabulous time on the cruise.

As a first time Mother of the Bride, I can highly recommend the services of Emily Boden at Bermuda Event Solutions, Ltd. Emily was responsive (and we were dealing with Bermuda, Massachusetts, California connections), extremely flexible, open to the Bride/Groom's ideas/suggestions and so reassuring. The vendors she recommended were the best and although I may be biased, my daughter's wedding was one of the most beautiful and lighthearted I have ever attended. Venue (The Reefs) and Caso's Point was incredibly beautiful, food was delicious and flowers (GIMI) were bright and beautiful. I cannot imagine this wedding in any other setting and I certainly cannot imagine what the planning would have been like without Emily's guidance and assistance. Now, if I had only listened to her and not worried about every little thing because, in the end, Emily was spot on ... everything flowed smoothly and just as planned. Mother's of the Bride - Emily is, quite simply, the best! Work with your daughters and Emily and then rest assured that Emily will pull it ALL together so you can enjoy and savor every moment of your daughter's wedding day. Listen to her when she says, it will all work out fine!

I worked with Emily for about a year to plan our wedding. Everything was PERFECT! Planning a Bermuda wedding from California could have been stressful, but Emily's suggestions and responsiveness took nearly everything off of my shoulders. Every vendor we used was suggested by Emily (the cake, the DJ, the minister, etc). They were all fabulous. You can trust anything Emily suggests! In fact, you should take her suggestions! It will make it way easier on you! I admit to being a bit scatter brained at times and sending many random emails (I had trouble compiling everything into one!) but Emily kept up with my scatter brain wonderfully! All details during the wedding were exactly as I had hoped... if not better! THANK YOU EMILY!!!

Kathleen was AMAZING! I was a little hesitant from the beginning planning a wedding via emails and a few phone calls but it went off without a hitch : ) We cruised on RC from Baltimore to Bermuda and met Kathleen the day prior to our wedding - she gave us a run down of the events. Everything fell into place due to her planning and expertise! My husband (still feels funny to say) and I looked back on the day and literally there wasn't anything we would change. Having our closest friends and family at one of the most beautiful resorts made our destination wedding a hit!

I contacted Bermuda Event Solutions in late spring when I realized I would be unable to pull my wedding together in a destination by myself. Kathleen and I had a preliminary conversation and then I contracted with them. From there forward, the wedding planning was a breeze. She helped find a minister, musicians for the wedding, cocktail hour and a DJ for the reception. She also found us a great photographer. We had a preliminary face to face in July and then spoke again, as often as needed. She shopped for welcome packet ingredients and was there the morning after we arrived to finalize plans. She was there before the wedding and stayed until long after we had left. Minor issues that came up were addressed by her without me having to stop my enjoyment of our wedding. Superb support. Easy to work with and a really fun person. (I didn't meet her partner.) Oh, and immigration issues with my friend, who is a florist, were handled without my involvement.

My husband and I always knew we wanted an intimate destination wedding and began our location search soon after getting engaged. We spontaneously planned a trip to Bermuda and met Kathleen Dodwell at the Reefs. As soon as we met Kathleen and saw Reefs, we canceled our other appointments knowing that we had found the right place for our dream wedding! Kathleen was warm, friendly, honest, and professional; I immediately felt that I could trust her. Throughout the year, Kathleen and I corresponded regularly; she ALWAYS responded to me in a very timely manner, which put me at ease, especially as the wedding got closer. Kathleen truly made the process of planning a destination wedding simple and stress-free...Stress-free until Hurricane Gonzalo, a major storm hit and we had to reschedule our wedding for three weeks later. Kathleen was amazing through this difficult time; she immediately contacted all the vendors and helped me schedule a new date within a couple of hours. Kathleen truly helped me to get through the stress of rescheduling a destination wedding with 60 guests; I could not have done it without her! Our wedding at the Reefs could not have been more perfect. Kathleen was with me every step of the way, making sure that things were going as I hoped and planned. All of my vendors as well as each staff person at the Reefs were incredible; they treated myself and my guests with the utmost care and respect. The food was amazing, the view was spectacular, and the decor was perfect. I could not possibly be more pleased with the elegance of our wedding. I am so grateful to Kathleen for being such an integral part of planning and executing such an awesome wedding. I highly, highly recommend Kathleen as a wedding planner and the Reefs as your destination wedding location!

Kathleen Dodwell is amazing! Our wedding was at The Reefs on October 18, 2014. The majority of our interactions were email based since my husband and I live in New Jersey, but Kathleen always responded very quickly to every email I sent during the near 15 months of planning, no matter how silly or picky I may have been! She helped us secure all of our vendors, and she truly paid attention to every detail we mentioned to make our dreams become reality.

Even more amazing is how she handled the week of the wedding! When we arrived on the island we learned that Hurricane Gonzalo was scheduled to be a Category 4 hurricane headed straight for Bermuda. Kathleen, calm and positive, had already spoken to all of our vendors and said that everyone was still on board but that we could move forward with the wedding as planned or reschedule. When my husband and I decided to move forward, she came to our hotel the next day and helped us re-work the entire wedding day, as many of our guests were unable to join us. She also made us local celebrities by sharing our story with the Royal Gazette!

Gonzalo hit Friday, and we all went to bed not knowing what had happened beyond the walls or our hotel. While the rest of the island was assessing the damage, Kathleen was working her magic and by 11 am on Saturday morning she told us that there would be a wedding at 5 pm!

It was the most perfect wedding! We still can't believe that hours after a disaster everyone came together to make it happen with nearly every detail as we imagined! Rob and I will never be able to say thank you enough to Kathleen, Event Solutions and The Reefs and to all of the other key players in our day. Not only is the island beautiful, but so are the people! We can't wait to visit again on our first anniversary!

Kathleen with Bermuda Event Solutions is the absolute BEST at what she does! She was attentive, knowledgeable, caring, up-front and just an all-around amazing planner! We spoke back and forth for about a year prior to the wedding date and she was always accomodating. She helped giude us and keep us within our budget- never pushing us on anything we were unsure about and giving us as much information as possible- she also has access to some of the best vendors on the island! Wedding day came and went and if anything had gone wrong, i never knew about it! Kathleen was there from start to finish! I wish i could do it all over again just to work with her! I got married at the Reefs on June 28, 2014 and it was wonderful! I researched extensively online for the best venue and event planners and came across Bermuda Event Solutions and the Reefs. The venue is even better in person than in the pictures online! With the expertise of Kathleen Dodwell, we planned the entire wedding without ever visiting Bermuda beforehand. Kathleen was the best event planner a bride could ask for. She was extremely knowledgeable, very responsive, and made sure all of the details were taken care of. She took care of every last detail - the minister, ceremony, DJ recommendation, flowers, transportation, etc etc. My husband and I are so pleased with the wedding we had and the service we received from Kathleen and would highly recommend Bermuda Event Solutions to any bride/groom looking to get married in Bermuda. Working with Emily to plan our wedding was an absolutely phenomenal experience! Planning a wedding from a distance can be incredibly stressful, but with Emily at the helm my fiance and I were able to stay calm and just enjoy the lead-up to our big day. She was prompt in her correspondence with us, 100% professional but never stuffy or overly formal, and she managed to take my admittedly jumbled and confusing requests and suggestions on food, flowers, and decorations and turn them into our dream day. The vendors with whom she has relationships were amazing and provided great service as well!

My wife and I got married at the Reefs Hotel. Kathleen from Bermuda Event Solutions was the greatest. She made the process so simple even though she was in Bermuda and we were in NY. Everything went perfect the day of the wedding Kathleen really makes your wedding enjoyable by taking care of every detail. The Reefs Hotel was amazing and had the most amazing views for pictures best place on the island to have a wedding.

Emily Boden was so very helpful with not only the planning of our wedding, but also with the initial choice of venue. We went down in July 2012 to visit multiple sites to choose our wedding site. When we met Emily at The Reefs resort she was about pregnant and was due in the next couple of months. It was a hot and humid day and Emily walked around the resort showing us all the areas and answered all our questions. We knew after that visit that The Reef was where we wanted our wedding and we wanted Emily as our planner.

Throughout the planning process Emily was always sending us information and gave us multiple choices for all our request (flowers, DJ, decorations). She was so very helpful and we recommend her to anyone looking to get married in Bermuda.

I could not give Bermuda Event Solutions a higher review because from start to finish, our wedding was perfection. Emily met all of our needs, was always available and was very honest and calm throughout the whole 14 month planning period. I was an extremely hands on bride and Emily had my trust immediately. She got us not only the best value, but went above and beyond and made everything perfect. I felt like I was never in the dark. Our event was executed perfectly and I'm a tough customer! If I ever get married in Bermuda again... Ill totally use them again! ;)

Emily was very fast in responding to all my questions. She took all the worry out of planning a destination wedding for us. Everything went off without a hitch, and she took care of everything. The only negative thing I can say is that I still have yet to receive our photos and its been two months, but that is the photographer that they work with.So maybe request a photographer that is a little more speedy.

Kathleen Dodwell is absolutely amazing. She was honest and sincere and gave us advice every step of the way during our planning. Even though our questions were always answered promptly and completely we were a little apprehensive about doing everything by email.We booked a trip during the off season to meet her personally. Kathleen also arranged for us to meet with the pastor and photographer during our weekend there. There was no reason to worry at all - this woman knows her stuff! We went with all of her suggestions - pastor, photographer, make up and hair girls, transportation, food and drink suggestions. She did not allow us to spend money unnecessarily and gave "gentle" suggestions when we were about to do so! Our guests RAVED about everything and some are not easily impressed. We could not have had a more perfect day. Thank you SO much.

Emily was great. It was a wedding and reception that were at opposite ends of the island. We found Emily to be calming and assertive when needed. Lighting ideas for outdoors were fabulous. Water at Unfinished Church was a appreciated by the guests. All suggestions helped to make it a truly memorable event for everyone.
One thing for all destination weddings that I think would be helpful is to tell hosts to ask guests to not post pictures before the bride and groom have them up. Also not to take during ceremony as they can block other peoples view of proceedings.

Kathleen Dodwell was my wedding planner and she was wonderful! She helped the wedding of our dreams become a reality. We just celebrated our wedding at The Reefs with Emily Boden as our wedding planner. We were blown away by the end result! It was gorgeous, down to the very last detail! Better than I could have even imagined. There were a lot of details but it came together seamlessly. We had many dietary restrictions and all of our food was customized to our needs - which was incredibly impressive. There were no cut corners in terms of food. My sister and mom even got gluten free pies, while my husband enjoyed dairy free pie (we didn't think this was possible, but it was both possible and delicious!). Thank you so much, Emily, for blowing us away on our special day!

We hired Kathleen as our wedding coordinator for the day of our wedding which included a certain number of planning hours. Throughout the planning of the wedding Kathleen recommended vendors but we booked and coordinated with all of them, including DJ, transportation, and flowers/decorations. Kathleen also was our point of contact for the services provided at the Reefs (our reception venue). We found Kathleen’s wedding planning services most valuable the week of our wedding when a hurricane was scheduled to hit Bermuda on our wedding day. Four days before our wedding was to take place, Kathleen worked with all of our vendors to MOVE our wedding day to the day before. Kathleen was the best insurance policy we could have had. Within 2 hours she had the wedding day moved with the timeline and vendors all intact.

On the day of our wedding, having Kathleen look after all the details took the stress out of the day. We didn’t have to think or worry about any of the vendors or logistics. We just went where we were told and the day went off without a hitch.

We would recommend Bermuda Event Solutions, even if you’re on the fence about needing a wedding planner; they are there to help with anything that may come up last minute…like a hurricane.

Kathleen helped to organize our wedding at the Reefs in Bermuda. She took time to listen to what type of day we wanted and then recommended an array of suppliers to help us to achieve this - her recommendations were spot on every time and she was also great at chasing them for responses so that we could meet with them beforehand to ensure it would all work.

On the day Kathleen was fantastic at co-ordinating everything to ensure that it all ran smoothly - this made for a very stress free day for us both and a lot of our guests have commented about how helpful and organized she was - even arranging taxis for them at the end of evening - certainly going above and beyond expectations!

My husband and I were recently married in Bermuda. Our wedding planner, Kathleen did an excellent job from start to finish. She helped us arrange the wedding as well as several other events for our guests on the island. She helped make the day of the wedding go very smoothly and we were very pleased with how everything turned out. Kathleen is very responsive and helpful. We very much enjoyed working with her over the year leading up to the wedding.

Lovely, but disorganized.

I liked our wedding planner personally a lot, but I was disappointed in the attention to detail and in retrospect, I wish I had handled more of the wedding details myself. If partnering with this company, I highly recommend personally getting involved in the arrangements that are important to you. For example, we picked out our ceremony music more than 6 months in advance, we loved it and we wrote out the lyrics in our program so our guests could follow along. There were multiple conversations and notes to our wedding planner on the music. After all that, the musicians played the wrong music and it seemed clear out wedding planner had simply not passed on our music selections—after all that.

Not very detail oriented. Had issues in the end with them covering details we assumed were taken care of.

For example:
making sure the wedding party got into the correct cabs leaving the hotel for the wedding itself, putting out the favor cards at every place setting as we asked instead of scattered on the table in the middle where no one saw them, a basket for cards under our escort card table never made it there, gathering all of the leftover items at the end of the night etc...

Probably OK for a small wedding but they definitely had a hard time with the details of my wedding. I would have wanted someone more proactive and less concerned about getting paid early.
