I put this venue on our wedding tour list as a whim. When we got there, we fell in love with the reception space, their indoor ceremony option, and, of course, the incredible view.
Little did we know that the indoor option would be critical when a storm rolled through on our wedding weekend. While I was pretty stressed about this, Michelle made sure the change to an indoor ceremony was seamless. So seamless that you would have thought this was always how we had it planned (I think I actually liked our ceremony even more indoors!).
Michelle was extremely helpful throughout the process. I enjoyed working with her in the many months leading up to the big day. Just note, she doesn’t tend to respond on her days off (certain weekdays), but the week leading up to our wedding, she very promptly reassured me and my panicked texts on her off day (which I really appreciated!).
I loved the fact that all the food and bar staff were in-house — fewer things for us to plan, coordinate, and worry about. They had a good selection of menu options, and many of our guests told us afterwards how much they liked the food.
We were also glad we picked some of the recommended vendors (shout out DJ Sonny and photographer Yang Lu), who knew the venue, were reliable, and were overall a pleasure to work with.
As a planner/always-the-event-host kind of gal, I was so appreciative of how Michelle ran the rehearsal and the wedding day. My husband and I really felt like we could relax and enjoy our day because Michelle had it all handled. I also felt like she really went out of her way to make sure we felt taken care of and special.
If I had to think of a negative, the bridal room was a bit small, so we got ready elsewhere, but that didn't really matter to us (I also think it looked cuter on our wedding day vs when we had initially toured). We cared way more about having great space for our ceremony and reception!
Even with all the rain, we had a fantastic time partying inside. The rain did break around sunset, so we were able to run out and get the majestic pictures I was hoping for.
All in all, I would recommend this venue! -

BCC created the most memorable wedding day for me and my wife. We were amazed at the value compared with other venues in the area. Once we saw the venue in person we were immediately sold. Michelle was an exceptional planner and helped us arrange our vision from day 1. She kept the ceremony, photos, and reception fluid and we are incredibly grateful for her expertise in making the enitre event go off without a hitch. The sunset photos on the green were an extra special touch! -

Flexible, reliable, always available!
Michelle was an absolute pleasure. She is responsive, communicative, and extremely reliable. She made us feel like we were the only couple getting married there, and I know she does multiple weddings and events weekly. She answered all of our questions and understood all of our requests. We turned to Berkeley country club after our original venue fell through and they were nothing but understanding, reassuring, and patient with us as we frantically switched dates and plans and vendors. Unfortunately, it rained on our wedding day, but Michelle was so helpful in addressing our concerns and making our wedding day the most memorable day. Even with some timeline hiccups (my own fault), Michelle moved with ease and flexibility, and helped us make our wedding day the best day of our lives. The venue is beautiful on its own with the architecture and location, but honestly, the staff was the highlight of our experience. My wife and I without a doubt recommend the Berkeley country club for any event, but especially for your wedding. -

This venue feels like such a hidden gem. My husband and I visited for the first time when we were looking at wedding venues and immediately knew this was the spot for us. The view at the ceremony location is unbeatable, the indoor reception architecture is classic, and the staff is kind and supportive. We enjoyed working with Michelle, the catering manager, who off the bat showed so much enthusiasm for hosting weddings that it was hard not to get excited too. Between Michelle and our amazing wedding planner ("An Everlasting Moment" if you're looking for a great planner!) and her assistant, my husband and I did not worry about a single logistical thing during our big day. Only love and great appreciation for Berkeley Country Club, and hoping to do some future celebrations there too! -

Berkeley Country Club is an absolutely stunning venue. We hosted our wedding there and the views took everyone’s breath away. The ceremony mandap was set up on the deck overlooking the valley and it created the perfect backdrop for a Hindu wedding. The entire team was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. Even the golfers seemed to enjoy the celebration and danced along with our baraat, which made the experience even more fun. They also provided me with a get-ready room, which was incredibly convenient as the bride.
A special thank you to Michelle, who went above and beyond to make the day seamless. She recommended a fantastic florist, Katharina Stuart, who created the most beautiful bouquets for us. Michelle also helped set up the banquet hall for lunch beautifully and worked with us every step of the way. We really appreciated how flexible the club was about allowing an external caterer for lunch. Everything went smoothly from beginning to end and we could not have asked for a more perfect venue or a more supportive team.

We absolutely loved having our wedding at The Berkeley Country Club! The views are unreal, the atmosphere is relaxed but elegant, and everything came together perfectly.
A huge shoutout to Michelle, our day-of coordinator! So organized and kind. She went above and beyond for us, even helping fix my wedding dress zipper right before the ceremony! Michelle made sure everything ran smoothly, so we got to just enjoy the day and be fully present.
Our guests were blown away by the setting and how seamless everything felt. We’re so thankful to Michelle and the whole Berkeley Country Club team for making our wedding day so special. Highly recommend this venue! -

Could Not Recommend More!
We got married in May at Berkeley Country Club and it was everything we hoped for and more! The view and venue sell itself, but Michelle and her wonderful team really made the day so special and memorable.
She worked closely with our vendors to ensure a seamless event - adapting quickly to changes in the timeline day of and unexpected changes. They were super flexible with decor and really allowed us to create a customized experience that matched our vision - even hanging up decor for us the morning of the wedding!
The food really blew us and our guests away and we still get comments from our guests about how good the food and drinks were. They allowed us to craft our own twists on classic cocktails which was a fun touch for us and our guests.
The country club offers great packages we could choose from and helped us find exactly what we were looking for while also accommodating all the guests’ wants and dietary needs.
We couldn’t recommend the country club more! -

We got married one month ago at the Berkeley Country Club, and had a fantastic experience in the leadup to as well as on our big day.
Michelle, our event coordinator, provided so much help and top class service (hats off to Michelle!). The venue took care of the ceremony, table placings, food and beverage, and day-of coordination with all of our vendors... All for a really reasonable price.
The ceremony venue is a gorgeous overlook of the entire San Francisco bay. We caught really good weather on our wedding day (September 7) and the visibility was amazing. They setup ample chairs for our guests and allowed us to add audio along with a homemade arbor.
The food was great and drew rave reviews from our guests - we plated their short rib, frenched chicken and veggie ravioli. The staff was very attentive and made sure everyone had what they needed. Michelle gave us space to enjoy the celebrations but jumped in at the right times to guide us places for pictures in coordination with our photography team.
All in all we had an absolute blast in no small part due to the Berkeley Country Club and its wonderful staff. I encourage all couples to check them out for their wedding days and hope I get an invite!

There are no words to express how much Michelle made my wedding the most incredible day. She was very kind in explaining the process of the wedding like the food tasting, details on the tables, and setting up decorations. She was patient when my husband and I had to think about a few ideas. She remembered every detail I wanted on the day of the wedding. She even helped me with my dress when it wouldn’t button up. The staff was also very kind and gave their congratulations to us. Country is such a beautiful place. Thanks again!

We had our wedding at the Berkeley Country Club in August 2024 and we were glad we picked the club to be our venue. The club was classic with historical features. Since the club is on the top of the hill on the other side of the bay from San Francisco, the ceremony site has one of the best views of the city and Golden Gate Bridge. The food was very good as well. Chef Dan is very talented and provided very delicious fish, steak, vegan dishes and Hors d'oeuvres. My mom couldn’t stop talking about the delicious steak for days after the wedding. Michelle from the club was very communicative throughout the planning process. She gave us very good recommendations of photo shoot areas and made our photos during the golden hour look splendid. The wedding couldn’t run so smoothly without her help. We highly recommend Berkeley Country Club! -

Magical, Memorable, Celebration of a Lifetime, Everything we wanted
My husband and I were married at BCC in July 2024. It was the most perfect venue and Michelle took care of the heavy lifting. Beautiful setting inside and out, delicious food, our guests loved everything, and we went with several of their preferred vendors for DJ and florals which worked out perfectly. We joined as preview members of the club which gave us more memories there to enjoy playing the gorgeous course and also access for my bridal party to get ready in a larger space (the library) in the women’s lounge upstairs. Thank you BCC. Highly recommend. -

We chose Berkeley Country Club for our wedding venue because of its location, views, and beautiful archiecture, and also because it included everything we needed for our ceremony and reception. The food was excellent and the service was great, and having on-site catering made it so much easier to plan the wedding. The sales manager, Michelle Sand, was extremely helpful in figuring out exactly which package we needed. Renting out the whole site for the day was also a plus because there was a bridal salon and a room where the groom and groomsmen could get ready. On the day of the wedding, Michelle helped us make sure everything ran smoothly and also ensured we got the pictures we wanted on the golf course. You are in very good hands if you go with this venue. I highly recommend it. -

WOW......Berkeley Country Club!!
This was an amazing venue for our special day.
Many of our guests commented that this was one of the most beautiful weddings venues they had ever attended. Michelle was always available by phone to help with all the details required prior to our day. Michelle was with us the whole way during the wedding and reception.
The Berkeley CC catering/chef was on point......delicious Prime rib and Mahi Mahi as we had an Luau style menu. Served hors d'oeuvres were also amazing!!
If you want to be wowed by a venue this is the place....... the sunset views of San Francisco and the Bay was breathtaking!

Berkeley Country Club was the perfect venue for our wedding! The staff really went above and beyond to deliver on our vision for the day. We received so many compliments from our guests about the space and especially the views.
Even though Michelle only joined a few weeks before our wedding, she came up to speed very quickly and was a tremendous resource in making sure everything went off without a hitch.
All in all couldn't have pictured having our wedding anywhere else and would highly recommend for any couple who is looking for a great team and a gorgeous space for your wedding day. Thanks BCC for making our day perfect! -

Super long overdue review but had to leave one. BCC had me w their amazing views and the 1920s English architecture. But they really got me after we made a visit on site and we got to know Michelle! We also got married in March of 2021 in the midst of the Covid pandemic and I couldn’t have been more grateful for Michelle and the team in being super understanding, accommodating, focused on safety and flexible. -

Ann Groux the Sales coordinator is the nicest person you will ever meet and she is very friendly and easy to work with. The food is delicious, friendly staff, great location and fabulous view!!! My dream wedding came true at Mira Vista! You won't regret it. -

I had my wedding here on Oct 10th, 2010 and they were extremely flexible and allowed us to even bring our own alcohol (for a small fee). The food was great, the staff was courteous, and the location was ideal. Parking will be no problem for your guests. They can seat up to 240 guests in their main ballroom. -

Berkeley Country Club was the venue of my dreams! Our wedding day turned out to be absolutely flawless, thanks to the help of Michelle and her incredible team. The in-house catering and bar were fantastic, and everything went off without a hitch – we encountered no problems at all. Romantic indoor setting with wooden beams Tudor style & big bay windows looking out at on the amazing view. Delicious yummy food from Hors D'oeuvres (heard some of guests went back for 3rds & 4ths) to dinner entrees to cake. Executed design of our cake beautiful. Awesome director of sales, Ann, whom very organized & always answered our questions timely manner & advice on things we may have forgotten to think of. The current day of coordinator wasn't very helpful but overall the staff very professional & helpful even the banquet manager Jack help me accommodate a last minute guests. Overall the most awesome fabulous wedding day for the bride & groom. Also all of our guests had really fun time & tell us this was one of the best wedding parties they have been to in longtime. -

The staff there was very helpful and professional and Tracy the Event Planner helped us with everything along the way! September Wedding at BCC
My husband and I recently got married at Berkeley Country Club and we couldn’t be happier with our choice! This place is such a hidden gem in the Bay Area! The views of the city and the bay on a clear day are absolutely stunning and totally wowed our guests. The weather was perfect early September!
One of our favorite things was the food! It’s all made in-house, and everything we tasted was SO good. Like the menu tasting was actually hard because everything was delicious… Food was a big thing for us when initially deciding on a location, and it made us happy that guests made it a point to express how much they enjoyed the food.
Michelle, the event coordinator, was amazing to work with. She was responsive, organized, and made us feel at ease. I felt like I could really enjoy the day because I knew everything was under control. She was also really flexible with our outside vendors which I appreciated because a lot of venues I had talked to were not as lenient or made you use their vendor list.
The staff were also great! We got a lot of compliments about how great the bartenders were. We had just over 100 guests, and the space and amount of staff was perfect for that size.
Overall, we had an incredible experience, and we’re so grateful to the whole team for helping make our wedding day so special. -
