Hire these people!!

The Bergreens are absolutely amazing! Marc and Brenda did our engagement and wedding photos and we couldn't be happier. My husband and I are not the most comfortable people in front of the camera but the Bergreens make it fun and helped us to feel natural while taking photos so that they could turn out so beautifully. They are able to make you feel comfortable while simultaneously taking breathtaking shots.
The biggest thing we were looking for from our photographers was to capture the emotions throughout our wedding day as best as they could through pictures and they did just that!
We couldn't be happier with the whole experience!

The best wedding photographers around!

TLDR: Hire the Bergreens right away!

There is a lot of fluff out there in the wedding photography world these days, trendy filters slapped on mediocre shots for a crazy fee. The Bergreens are decidedly not fluff. They are thoughtful artists, hardcore adventurers, and two of the loveliest, kindest people you could hope to know. The pictures they take are brilliant beyond words; I have photographers in my family and even they were floored by the artistry and quality. If you want awesome photos and want to have an awesome time taking them, hire the Bergreens.

You should especially call them if you have an adventurous shoot in mind (they can keep up, promise), if you like to explore amazing places (they know all the good spots) and/or if you just like hanging out with wonderful people (pretty easy to look good in photos when you are enjoying yourself and at ease). Can't say enough good things about Marc and Brenda!

Above and beyond a photo shoot

So the most relevant question you might ask yourself is, “Why do this?” Why hike to a remote part of the wilderness and have your wedding photos taken? Because after the wedding is all over, other than the marriage, the memories are what you keep. Photography is a big part of cherishing those memories.

Before meeting them on our wedding day, they had kept good contact with us through e-mail, phone, and Skype throughout the year. They even sent us a beautiful care package for our wedding!

Our experience was all together adventurous, memorable, and spiritual. We met early in the morning at Sequoia the day of our wedding just before sunrise. Standing on this peak looking over the distant mountains and misty valley below as sunlight broke across the landscape was magical, and it’s a moment you only get once. Marc and Brenda knew exactly where and when they could capture the best shots. It was everything and more than we wanted and envisioned. Marc and Brenda were wonderful throughout the morning shoot, even sharing their incredible knowledge about the park! They moved around and took pictures from every angle imaginable; they were humorous and good conversationalists as well as minimal with posing instructions. They made us feel at ease and comfortable; we found ourselves cracking jokes, dancing, and making up silly vows while posing. While we were having fun, Marc and Brenda took care of the rest. Quite the opposite from what many may dread from a photo shoot, we felt refreshed, invigorated and already married! We still talk about this as a positive springboard into our actual wedding day.

The photographs Marc and Brenda took of the ceremony and reception were just as stunning as the pictures they took on Moro rock. At one point, Marc was up in a tree off to the side getting a great bird’s eye view of the reception. Brenda and Marc excel at catching spontaneous moments when everyone is just having fun and being themselves.

We did one more photo session in Yosemite. Again, team Bergreen was fantastic! They knew the area, where to get the best photos, and how to get there with minimal hassle.

In summation, working with Bergreen we got more than just beautiful photos. We got those moments, the hikes, the sunrise at Moro Rock, kissing inside the trunk of a Sequoia tree with dogwoods flowers blooming nearby, dancing under the sunbeams on a hiking trail, climbing atop boulders and tree trunks, strapping on hiking boots with our wedding clothes on, walking through the crowds at Glacier point, testing our nerves at the very edge of Taft point, and looking across all the beauty and majesty of these national parks in breathless wonder. We got an adventure that infused our wedding day with joy, beauty, nature, and love; we can’t recommend them enough!!

Bergreen Photography shot our engagement photos as well as our wedding and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome! Marc and Brenda were professional, calm and engaging during the whole process. Their eye for capturing the perfect shot was evident by the amazing reviews we received from friends and family. They truly plan the entire process for a smooth wedding day. Other than actually ending up married, photos were the most important item for us. We are cost conscious and had certain elements we were looking for in photographers. We are so thankful we came across this team for our Yosemite National Park elopement! As our only "guests", they made the day incredibly fun, yet made sure we had the intimate elopement vibe we were going for. They are so knowledgeable and passionate about the parks and their process. We loved having two shooters to provide different perspectives. Nearly a year later and we still hear from family and friends how blown away they are by our photos. The day goes by so quickly that the pictures are the only way to remember some of the little moments. I can't wait to have another reason to meet them out for a day of exploring and shooting. I would recommend them without a single hesitation to anyone.

As soon as we met Marc and Brenda we knew we wanted them to photograph our wedding. Not only were the pictures they showed us of their past work incredible but they were fun and easy to be around. The second time we met them was for our photo date. We met them a little early and were able to hang out for a little bit before starting to take pictures. We have never had professional photos taken and they made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. The turn around for our engagement pictures was quick and they were perfect. We were married at Piney River Ranch and we really wanted our pictures to capture the beauty of the surroundings. They certainly did this and more. They took so many pictures and we have great variations of close ups as well as pictures that capture the beauty of the environment. They really listened to our vision and made sure to give us exactly what we wanted. Marc and Brenda are amazing photographers but they are also professional, they respond quickly to questions, and they are so easy and fun to be around. I couldn't be happier that we worked with them for our wedding. I would highly recommend Bergreen Photography.

I say privilege because both of them are fantastic. They made us feel comfortable and were always looking for ways to get us the most amazing photos. We could not have been happier with the photography that Brenda and Marc Bergreen did for our wedding!!! We had an autumn ceremony and reception in Yosemite. Our priority was capturing the splendor of our natural surroundings while not losing the unique feel of our wedding. The Bergreens went above and beyond from the initial consultation that they did with us and throughout our wedding day. The photos were nothing short of spectactular! Shame this scale only goes to 5 stars - I would keep clicking as many stars as I could... We hoped to find gifted artists for our engagement and wedding photos and Marc and Brenda provided so much more than just their unbelievable artistry. We found kindred spirits, fellow backpackers and climbers, and two of the most genuine and thoughtful people you can imagine. They were incredibly communicative from the moment we contacted them, and paid close attention to our hopes and goals for the wedding. Their "day of" approach was professional without being stuffy, and we will forever be grateful to them for capturing every special moment. Our photos were ready amazingly fast, and they were infinitely patient with our anxious adjusting (and readjusting) our album proofs. We are left not only with impossibly beautiful photos, but with two new friends and fellow adventurers whose exploits we love to follow!

Bergreen Photography gave me the wedding photos of my dreams! I knew exactly what I wanted, and searched high and low for that. As soon as I came across Bergreen, I knew immediately they were the ones! I am beyond happy with our experience and I truly believe we have the best wedding photos I've ever seen. We got married in Yosemite and I wanted photographers who were experienced and familiar with the park. I couldn't have dreamed for more! They knew all the best spots, and they even met us in the park 2 days before the wedding to take our valley portraits so we didn't have to worry about that the day of. The photo date (engagement session) was a total blast! Marc and Brenda even let us choose a place we wanted to meet. They went above and beyond and met us at Point Reyes National Seashore. As soon as we met them, it felt like we were old friends. It was so comfortable, relaxed and FUN! We loved every moment and the photos are such a treasure. They really have a great eye for capturing not only the love between a couple, but this incredible scenery as well. I HIGHLY recommend Bergreen to any couple. I would choose them again over and over if I could.

My fiance and I really wanted unique engagement photos that were as much about breathtaking mountain views as they were about us - and that is exactly what we got! Marc and Brenda chose a gorgeous mountain location which allowed us to have a fun hike added into our session! I would definitely recommend for anyone looking for beautiful, unique, scenic photos!

Marc and Brenda were great and did an amazing job with our wedding photography! We could not have imagined more beautiful pictures that captured our wedding ceremony and the amazing landscapes at Yosemite. They are both extremely talented photographers! Not only that, but they are also both very kind and cool people and made the photography experience very laid back and fun. Leading up to the event, they did a great job staying connected and getting the details of what we were looking for. They were extremely responsive to emails/questions and very organized in planning the day so we would get all the pictures we wanted.
We had a reception about 3 days after the wedding and asked if it would be possible to have a few pictures we could display at the reception. They turned around almost 80 extremely high quality pictures for us in 2 days!! It made our reception so much more fun to be able to relive the ceremony through the great photograph. We could not have asked for more talented photographers, or for more awesome people to have spent the day with! Very highly recommended!

We love the Bergreens!! We're getting married at Yosemite National Park, and it was really important to us that the photographers knew how to capture good photos of us AND the scenery. They did whatever it took to get the right shot -- whether it was hanging off the edge of a bridge or lying down in the snow. The photos are magical because (though there were often crowds of people gawking at our entourage) we look like we are all alone in the wilderness. After we got our engagement photos back, we decided we had to get married in the same place because the photos were so spectacular. Book the Bergreens -- you won't regret it!!

From My Husband: Our engagement photography session with Mark and Brenda in Yosemite inspired us to also get married there. (We got them to do our wedding photos too). Their pictures for both events were top notch and we had a lovely time. They're really easy to get along with, which makes the whole being a model situation feel much more comfortable. We were extremely impressed by the lengths the two of them go all out to get the right photo. Mark would hang off the bridges to get the angle or put his camera inches off the river water. Brenda laid down in the snow so she could capture a picture of my wife and I with the entire lower Yosemite falls. That specific picture was so wonderful with how they managed to make us look alone with hundreds of people behind us. Our wedding photos were beautiful as well, and everyone we have shown them to have been very impressed by the quality of the images and the prints.

I can’t even begin to describe how wonderful Marc and Brenda are. An outdoor mountain wedding was super important to us, and not only did they capture every detail perfectly, but they were so easy and fun to work with throughout the entire process. Brenda and Marc were always quick to respond to my emails with millions of questions, and were very flexible when my fiancé broke his leg just days before our engagement photo shoot. They checked in regularly to make sure no detail was left out, and sent us such thoughtful surprises in the mail. In addition to being extremely talented photographers who love outdoor adventures as much as we do (and have had some of their work featured in Backpacker Magazine!!), Brenda and Marc are also amazing people. We never felt like just clients, it was more like we were hanging out with friends, and we always looked forward to meeting with them. We had so much fun with Brenda and Marc on our wedding day, and couldn’t imagine having anyone else capture it. They even set up an iPad with photos from earlier in the day so our wedding guests could see them! We’re so glad to have made two new friends, and our engagement and wedding photos are more spectacular than we ever could’ve dreamed. Brenda and Marc are the best husband-wife photography team out there. Hiring them will be the best decision you ever make!

If you’re looking for amazing, talented, and wonderful photographers, look no further! Marc and Brenda are willing to go the extra mile (literally) for the perfect shot. Both my wife and I had been following the Bergreens for quite some time, and even before selecting a date for the wedding, we already knew they were the perfect fit. We were impressed from day one of communication, all starting with the Facetime session, the gift in the mail, and speedy emails back and forth during the planning process. They are both extremely professional, but also easy-going at the same time. Marc and Brenda provided direction well and were also open and accepting of our thoughts and wishes, including our smoke bomb and entire guest list group photos. The one thing we loved the most at the reception was the sneak peak photo slide show, which was a pleasant surprise. Also, they held true to their two-week turn around time for all photos. We couldn’t have asked for a more kick ass photography duo than Marc and Brenda!

I can't tell you how many photographers I spoke with at bridal shows, but the only ones that really stuck out were Marc & Brenda at Bergreen Photography. I'd give them a 10 if I could, they go above and beyond. Not only are they skilled photographers, they're great people. No business I've encountered has ever had such wonderful follow-through, attention to detail, and true care for meeting their clients' expectations. If you enjoy the outdoors, it's a no-brainer to hire Marc and Brenda as your photographers. They will capture your moments in ways you've never thought possible. And even if you don't like the outdoors, these two would still be awesome because they're great listeners and are very accommodating to what you as a client are looking for. But seriously: "I prefer a boring, staged family photo over a romantic sunset view of the mountains," said No One ever.

We really wanted photographers who could capture the outdoor beauty of our mountain wedding, as well as draw out our personalities in our photos. Brenda and Marc were friendly, approachable, always accessible, and set our minds at ease. It really helps to be surrounded by calm, and happy people who enjoy their job on your big day. All of our family and friends were blown away by the quality, creativity, and fairytale quality of the images (not to mention the sheer quantity). The photos are a really balanced mix of the small details that made our wedding personal (e.g. cake, rings, centerpieces), the people we love, and the gorgeous outdoor setting that we really wanted to incorporate. They even had a brief running slideshow on a tablet at one of our tables during dinner of the photos they had just taken hours before (so cool! Our guests were thrilled!). The photobook we received recently is one of our most treasured keepsakes and will help us relive the magic every time we look at it. A million thanks to a couple of amazing photographers and all around delightful people!

I have nothing negative to say about these photographers, in fact only great things! Everyone feels like their wedding was the most beautiful day ever (and we are no exception!), but Bergreen Photography captured the beauty and energy of the day so impeccably, it comes to life when we look at the pictures. In preparation for the wedding weekend, they helped us think through what kinds of pictures we wanted and how to work them into the wedding day plan. On the day of, they were organized and they naturally work so easily with people that we got through the family portrait session super efficiently – it was amazing - and then could get back to the cocktail hour! They also used the outdoor space creatively to make really gorgeous compositions for our portraits. Their dual-camera partner approach is very effective so you get different kinds of shots and angles of the same event. Their outdoor photography is what drew us to Bergreen Photography originally, but I would also say that their indoor pictures of us getting ready are really fantastic as well, and the pictures from the dance party are priceless. On timing, they were super quick to get us back a bunch of highlights to share immediately after the wedding, and then we had the full set of photos very soon thereafter. Marc and Brenda are professional, easy to work with, such sweet and kind-hearted people, and do a great job!

I knew I wanted to hire them to be our wedding photographers years before I was engaged, as I had found their blog and loved their pictures. Their ability to capture the couple’s personality and bring out the beauty in their surroundings is incredible. They were a great team working with us to help fill many roles in our wedding: photographers, advisors, friends, editors, graphic designers, and date idea providers. They exceeded all of my expectations for wedding photographers. They were very easy to contact and gave timely responses throughout the wedding planning process for my husband and I. On our wedding day, Bergreen Photography raised the bar with their levels of professionalism, charisma and flexibility. We are forever grateful that they were able to capture the joy we felt on our wedding day. The turn around time on the pictures is amazing, and they have so many fun personal touches they send with their products.
Bergreen Photography took the time to get to know my husband and I and helped create a photodate for us that helped to tell our story. The pictures from our photodate in Sequoia and Kings Canyon felt adventurous and outdoorsy even though we were mobility-challenged at the time. They worked to find places that were accessible to people with broken hips, but were still off the beaten path. At the end of the day we relaxed around the campfire with tacos in our hands, and we felt like more than clients – we were friends.

One excellent piece of advice I was given when I started the wedding planning process was to invest in the photography; it's these pictures that you'll have years from now to look back on to remember your special day. Choosing Marc and Brenda was, without a doubt, the best wedding investment we made!
The first time my husband Tim and I met the Bergreens was at Starbucks and we chatted over a cup of coffee. It was a casual setting and not stuffy at all; and that’s just the way we like things! They made us feel comfortable from the get-go. Tim feels pretty awkward in any picture-taking event, so it was very important to have someone photographing us without adding any stress. Our engagement photo-date in Sequoia National Park was such a fun day! Marc and Brenda did give us some direction, but basically let us do our own thing. They have a keen eye and were able to capture moments that I would have completely overlooked. The time between our engagement photo-date and wedding day, they kept in touch with us and if we had any questions, they got back to us in a very timely manner. The day of the wedding went by so quick; most of my memories are from the pictures that were taken. I cherish every single candid snapshot Marc and Brenda gave to us. One last thing that I highly enjoyed was all the little gifts they sent us; like the wedding “emergency kit,” the notebook, and even the wrapping our photo album came in. They pay attention to the details, and it makes things that much more magical. They are the epitome of professionalism and are great people in general! We cannot thank Marc and Brenda enough!

The Bergreen's are fantastic! We couldn't have been happier with our pictures. We really wanted something that wasn't the traditional cookie cutter photos. They created a great mix of traditional shots and beautiful unique pictures. It was extremely comfortable working with them and fun to have them at our wedding. I can't be more grateful for such excellent photographers in both in the sense of artistic skill as well as interpersonal and professional strength. They were so available and clear in the entire planning process, and at the actual wedding they were incredible - capturing so many special moments without entering them, being fun and respectful to all of us in the photo shoots, and using a creative eye to really maximize the beauty of our venues and our experiences.

While they specialize in adventure weddings, ours was not terribly adventurous (church wedding, community center reception) and they did as an amazing job on our wedding as the other more exquisite weddings and locations they have captured. I also must add that my parents were so impressed and grateful for their work as well. I cannot recommend the Bergreens enough!

We truly cannot rave enough about Marc and Brenda Bergreen - they photographed our wedding in the Sierras and made our weekend so memorable. They did a photo date session for us on Friday, and then photographed our wedding on Saturday. They scoped out photo locations ahead of time, and found the most beautiful and unexpected areas. They got to know us, listened to our ideas, and then used their talent to create really authentic photos that capture us as a couple. They are such professionals, plus really really nice and genuine people - they are the real deal. Brenda and Marc are amazing at capturing who you are with their cameras. They made us feel very comfortable and photogenic, and every picture was gorgeous!

They kept us laughing and having fun on our photo date and our wedding from the staged photos to the candid shots in between. They are very eager to please and willing to try any ideas you have or saw on Pintrist.

They also work incredibly fast! After both our photo date and wedding photos Marc and Brenda made a preview slide shows for us the same day!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed working with Bergreen Photography for our wedding. We found their wedding packages to be competitive and affordable and the quality of their work is amazing. Hiring Marc and Brenda of Bergreen Photography was the best decision my husband and I made when planning our wedding. I can't say enough about how wonderful it was to have a TEAM of photographers; especially ones who communicate so well, and most importantly, understand love and marriage. My husband and I were married this fall, October 26 2013, in Porterville, Ca. We hired Marc and Brenda almost a year prior to our wedding. They were the first photographers we met with (after having several disappointing phone and email exchanges with other photographers) and we knew instantly that these two people were knowledgable, prepared, and would be emotionally invested in our wedding day. If you are concerned about price, don't be, not only were Marc and Brenda's services well worth their (very reasonably priced) fee, but the level of comfort and personalization that you will receive from them is above and beyond what is expected. They will listen to your every wish, ask you questions about your photography desires that you never thought about yourself, work within your financial constraints, and offer you advice and helpful tips on ALL aspects of your wedding day. They are the true definition of the ideal small business; efficient and personable. I truly feel that my husband and I gained two friends in working with Marc and Brenda Bergreen. We are so pleased with our wedding photos and with their presence at our wedding. I know that for the rest of my photography needs, whatever that may be, I will look no further than Bergreen Photography.

Brenda and Marc photographed our 4 day wedding event. They captured all memorable moments of our wedding at Cove Point Lighthouse in Maryland. All the special lenses that they use gave the sailing adventure, fireworks, bonfires, and beach swimming great effects. During the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner, we have photos that relive the moments. We relive OUR Wedding Day through Marc and Brenda's professional photos.

Marc & Brenda were awesome & so much fun to work with! It was great working with such a happy couple. The photo date was so cool, a very nice addition to our wedding pics. Marc and Brenda did the photography for my recent wedding, and they did an amazing job! We did a lot of shopping around for photographers and found that not only did Marc & Brenda's style suit us best, but that their prices were extremely competitive as well.

Our package included both an engagement shoot and our wedding day. My husband and I were very nervous about the engagement shoot (neither of us enjoy being photographed) but within minutes with Marc & Brenda, we were totally at ease and actually ended up having a great time!

They also really do live up to their "Love Adventurously" motto and were more than happy to go to any of our off the beaten path locations. Not only that, but they had taken the time to scout the locations prior to our shoots to make sure to get the best shots. They really just seem to love their work and want to make sure your day is represented. When they heard that my husband was going surfing the morning of our wedding, they showed up bright and early to tag along. Brenda was waste deep in the freezing water (September, north of Santa Cruz= no joke.) to capture some amazing photos!

We also received a photo book as a part of our package. Marc & Brenda put together dozens of spreads for us to review, within weeks of our wedding. I was extremely impressed by how quickly they had turned around the photos. Other friends of mine have had nightmare stories of getting their wedding photos. Not with Marc & Brenda.

Overall, we were extremely impressed and are very happy with our beautiful photographs.

We don't know where to begin about Marc and Brenda but the fact that they are the most amazing people you will ever meet! My husband and I knew they were the photographers for us the second we sat down and had a conversation with them. Not only do they take AMAZING photos but they make you feel like friends not another customer and we loved that about them. They truly go out of their way to make you feel like you are getting the best you can get. At our photo date they brought us a marriage survival kit. It had champagne and chocolate and massage oil and candles, and they told us to relax and enjoy it while they got set up! After the wedding was done my husband and I got to work with them to put together our wedding album. The quality of the wedding album is by far nothing I've ever scene! And just when you think the fun surprises stop, Marc and Brenda throw in their crafty touch! Our wedding pictures were sent to us on a handmade flash drive in a handmade little bag with charms on it, we were blown away. We highly recommend Bergreen Photography to be your photographers for any event you have coming up. You will not be let down by their quality of work. Marc and Brenda were the best part of our wedding experience and we will always cherish our new friendship and work experience with them:)

I hired the Marc and Brenda Bergreen as the photgraphers for my wedding, and they did a fantastic job. They were professional, flexible, full of ideas, and fun to work with! During the engagement photoshoot, they made it easy to relax and be ourselves as a couple. They took the time to get to know us and our story so that they could do a better job of showing it visually. For both the engagement shoot and the wedding, they arrived early to scout out the places and angles where they could get the best shots. Having both of them working on the day of the wedding was also a plus, because there were many shots during the ceremony one photographer working on his own would have missed. The actual quality of the pictures are quite good, and a handful of the pictures are just magical. Now we have beautiful pictures of our wedding to share with family and friends, and Brenda is doing a very artful job of designing layouts for our wedding album. For the service they provide, their weddign package was a great deal. Would definitely hire them again!

We had the Bergreens photograph our wedding this summer and they were the perfect choice. Marc and Brenda did an AMAZING job! All of the pictures turned out beautiful and better than we could have imagined. Planning beforehand was fun and easy. They photographed our wedding in August 2013 in San Luis Obispo, and everyone was very pleased. Marc and Brenda are awesome... they are super helpful, have great ideas, are easy to talk to and work with, are fun, and most importantly take beautiful pictures! They helped me plan the timeline for the day, and they made sure that I was comfortable with how the day was going to go. After the wedding, a lot of our family and friends told us how much they loved them, as people, not just as photographers. I am so happy that we chose them, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

We were very pleased to have had Marc and Brenda photograph our wedding! They were kind, punctual, and above all, professional. They were on-time with all deadlines and very easy to communicate with. They were also very flexible in where/how we wanted particular shots. Their prices are very reasonable for having two highly skilled photographers, the high quality of the pictures themselves, and the album, USB drive, etc. that came with the package.

We got along right away and they really understood how to represent our unique and awkward personalities (in the best possible way)! We particularly liked that they were able to capture us in our element, not in strict poses that they made us get into. They gave great ideas for some poses, but also did a great job of letting us be us and capturing that.

We got a lot of compliments on them from our guests and we would definitely refer them to anyone. They shot our engagement pictures, rehearsal and wedding day and are already on our minds for future photo dates!

Although getting married isn't something we do often, we believe we couldn't have had a better set of photographers than Marc and Brenda. They are both very friendly and easy to work with, helped us out however they could, with ideas, and shots during and before the wedding. Their posed pictures were unique and beautiful, and their candid pictures caught the mood and ambiance of the day and how everyone just seemed to enjoy themselves was expressed perfectly in their photos. The overall experience was only reinforced by our chance to be able to experience their excellence in our friends' wedding. We were not disappointed with their work in either our or our friends' wedding. We highly recommend them, they are fun and easy going, easy to work with, and both very dedicated to what they do.

They were amazing! They moved from WA to CA between the time that we signed the contract and the wedding and they travelled all the way back to WA just to do my wedding. They were so much fun to work with and I couldn't have been happier with the pictures. They didn't have limits like all of the rest of the photographers I met with. And they did an incredible job capturing the day my husband and I will remember forever.

We had a "shotgun" wedding without an angry father in law. Just one of those things where we knew it was right to get married sooner rather than later. We called Bergreen's and let them know the date, and they didn't have anything going on in 2013, so they were happy to schedule us. They were super surprised to find out that we meant next month! At any rate, they were able to help us out and scheduled the rehearsal dinner and the entire day! The follow through was simply stunning. When we arrived at the reception, they had already set up two iPads running photos they had taken throughout the day, and it caught everyones attention! Afterward, they sent us digital copies almost immediately, and have been wonderful to work with to complete our wedding album! Very professional, fantastic photos, and amazing people! Well worth the phone call!

Marc and Brenda photographed my wedding about a year ago. Whenever I sit and look at all the amazing photos they took, I am so happy and grateful that they were the ones to share that wonderful day. They caught moments that I would have never seen, every shot looks fantastic, and they made the experience stress free and fun. Having a married couple taking pictures is perfect for wedding photography. They have been there and know exactly what to look for. They know how stressed out and nervous you might be, and they make the whole experience better with their happy attitude and great planning. I would absolutely recommend them for any kind of photo shoot. In fact, they shot my brother's engagement pictures! And those came out beautiful!

This husband and wife team make the ideal photographers for any event. Not only do they work seamlessly together but their laid back, go with the flow attitudes, put any anxiety or stress at bay. We had the pleasure of their services at one of the most important days of our lives. Our wedding day. They were completely prepared and everything went smoothly from start to finish. They sat us down to talk about all the shots we were looking for plus suggesting awesome ideas of their own and working out a timeline for the day. They would do anything for the perfect shot to make you happy, even if it meant putting their mountain climbing experience to use and hanging from the side of a building!! These two are fantastic: Super-talented, unassuming, friendly, patient, and did I mention super-talented? I highly recommend them and I don't think there's any way you'll be disappointed. They're especially amazing with detail shots and documenting anything natural. (You should see Marc's nature shot portfolio). Marc and Brenda are a wonderful and dedicated couple. What a fantastic team. They provided a package that included our engagement photos and our entire wedding day. Of all of the qualities we have listed below, we most enjoyed their dual perspective of our important moments. Highly recommend the Bergreens!

We had a superb experience with Brenda and Marc, who we hired for our wedding. They are fast communicators, timely upon arrival, very calm and collected, know how to make you feel at ease, know great spots for photos, and more. We honestly had a lot of fun with them at an engagement shoot and our pre-wedding ceremony photoshoot in the mountains, hiking around in our wedding clothes! Their shots came out great and they sent us the full gallery just 1 week after our wedding. The services are pretty expensive, but they are very up front with pricing and it is on par with other photography services. We were happy we had 2 photographers instead of 1.

Lovely pics, great experience!

My fiance and I did a trip to Aspen to celebrate our engagement. Brenda and Marc did a photoshoot for us. First, the photos turned out great. My fiance framed one of them for me as a present on this Valentine's Day! We spent more than half a day with them. They were quite flexible in customizing the package for us so they are good to work with at the organization stage. They arrived earlier in the day to scope out a few locations ahead of meeting us and then picked us up and drove us around. We got to see some new areas around Aspen with them that we hadn't seen before so thanks for showing us around also! Finally, they are great company, so it was just fun to hang out with them for a few hours. What else could we ask for?

I rated value at 4 stars. Marc and Brenda are well within the range of other good photographers and I think we got a good deal. Its just that overall, the photography is quite expensive in the US as compared to say, Europe, so the rating is more of a feedback to the industry from a consumer rather than specifically to Brenda and Marc.

Terrible Customer Experience

Terrible customer experience. Would give zero stars if allowed. Too busy to respond via Phone and email responses are sparse. Tried scheduling multiple times via email based on what Marc communicated as his availability. Marc does not return calls and only will respond via email (seems a bit shady). I requested to get on his schedule and for a date that he said would work for him and instructed him to send me the agreement. After I sent that email, I got a response stating he was no longer available, even though it was only 1 day since he said he was available and 2 days before the agreed upon day for the shoot. After this first last minute reschedule, he did supply some alternate days/times and I emailed back stating I would like to secure one. I asked for the agreement to be sent and to actually be added to their schedule to avoid the previous last minute change. He did indicate that I was on the schedule now and to finalize everything I would need to sign the agreement linked to the email. In that email, he also informed me that it would be his wife taking the pictures, not Marc which was a bit surprising but I decided, OK since this is time sensitive and I assume she is qualified. After reviewing the agreement I had several questions I wanted to ask prior to making a payment and asked to speak on the phone to avoid multiple emails again. I left a VM and sent an email stating this as I wanted to make the payment ASAP. After waiting multiple days for a phone call back I finally got an email stating that neither one of them can do the photo shoot now and suggested I find someone else stating they are too busy. Is it that they did not want to deal with my questions and would of had to actually talk to me on phone? My guess is that it was not enough money for them even though they are the ones who set the price. It would have been nice to let me know that upfront so I did not waste multiple weeks assuming I had a photographer for this time sensitive shoot. What would have happened if I had signed the agreement and put my money down only to find out at the last minute they are too busy? Terrible customer experience and they apparently will not speak to you on the phone to discuss details or answer questions. I would avoid Bergreen Photography unless you want to deal with them only via email, have a high dollar shoot, have no questions, and are prepared to deal with multiple reschedules at the last minute.
