David and Gaby were an absolute dream to work with on our wedding day. From the very beginning, they were incredibly communicative, organized, and attentive, making sure they understood our vision and every detail that was important to us and made the entire process feel effortless. I had complete confidence in them leading up to the big day.
On our wedding day, they went above and beyond anything we could have imagined. They captured every special moment so beautifully and naturally while making us and our guests feel comfortable and at ease. Their professionalism, creativity, and genuine kindness made the experience even more memorable. Since the wedding, we've had countless guests tell us how wonderful David and Gaby were to work with and how stunning our photos are. Looking through our photos brings us right back to each moment of our special day, and we couldn't be more grateful.

The best decision we made for our wedding was booking Jon as our photographer

From the moment we met her, Gaby made us feel completely comfortable and at ease in front of the camera. Neither of us are professional models, but she guided us naturally throughout the session, making the entire experience fun, relaxed, and enjoyable. Her warm personality, creativity, and attention to detail truly shine through in every interaction!!!

Gaby and Dave with Benoit & McCarthy are nothing short of amazing. Having worked in the wedding business for years I have seen my fair share of photographers and not many even come close to them and their experience. I had my eyes on them for years and they where the first thing I booked as soon as I picked the date, and luckily for me they where available even on about a months notice! They really know how and where to put you to give you the absolute best pictures. They are extremely creative with their shots which was perfect for our Halloween theme. Working with them was honestly my favorite part of our wedding and I truly had the "princess for a day" feeling that every bride wants. Most importantly, I could not be happier with the pictures we have now. I cannot wait to work with them again in the future for whatever event comes next. Our wedding venue had Benoit & McCarthy listed as a recommended vendor and I'm so glad that they did! We knew we wanted a photographer who was familiar with our wedding venue and the area of Gloucester and David ended up being a perfect match for us! He was able to answer all of our questions quickly and knew all the best locations to go for photos and had a perfect timeline planned. We also received all of our photos less than a week after our wedding!! On top of an amazing wedding day, we also had a great experience with our engagement photos. Both Gaby and David were there, they were the sweetest and made us feel so comfortable the whole time. We truly had such a fun time taking our photos! We are beyond thrilled with our experience working with Gaby as our wedding photographer. From the moment we met her, Gaby exuded warmth, professionalism, and a commanding presence that made us feel completely trustworthy of getting things done in a timely fashion—something every couple needs on such a high-stress day!
Gaby has an incredible eye for detail and emotion. She captured every meaningful moment of my now husband and I AND also included our golden retriever, Archie who has high energy as a 1.5 year old! From candid glances and laughter to the quiet, tender moments, we didn’t even realize were happening. Every photo she delivered feels like a piece of art after she did our touch-ups - completely full of life, love, and the atmosphere of the day. Her use of natural light and composition is just stunning. It was on and off raining on our wedding day and Gaby made sure we got outside whenever possible. The overcast clouds made for great lighting that she took advantage of and at "sunset" (there was no sun), she took advantage of this darker blue storm cloud coming by!
What also stood out to us was how seamlessly she blended into the day. She was somehow everywhere, yet never intrusive—guiding us gently when needed, and letting the magic unfold naturally the rest of the time. Our guests even commented on how lovely and professional she was! My parents in particular really appreciated that she went to all of the tables and took pictures of the couples (we didn't even ask for this, but we're so glad she did it!).

Gaby and David are true professionals. I have been in multiple weddings they have shot, and had such great experiences that they were a natural choice for our own wedding.
Communication is always excellent and transparent, we never had to worry about the details with our photographer. In addition to being amazing photographers, they are experts on weddings in general. They were very helpful in fine tuning our day of schedule, wrangling the bridal party, and making everyone feel at ease.

Gaby was an absolute pleasure to work with! We were lucky enough to have both Gaby and David photograph our wedding. They were incredibly professional while also high energy and fun, we loved their dynamic. I had a few surprises for my Groom, including a fake-out first look and dancers with lightsabers joining our first dance. Gaby was absolutely down not only to keep them a secret but to help facilitate them! We weren't able to get some of our outside shot wish list due to the weather, and some things changed day of due to the general chaos of a wedding day, but Gaby and David absolutely rolled with the punches and the final shots were beautiful, and we got them very quickly after the wedding! We also used their photo booth, which was a huge hit with our guests!

An Amazing Photographer!
We couldn't have chosen a better photographer for our wedding than Gaby Benoit. From the beginning she was lively and fun and kind; she was always quick to get back to us with any questions, and certainly with the pictures. They are great pictures! We even had her do our engagement photos as sort-of a dry run to see what the wedding experience would be like, and we couldn't be happier! I've been to weddings where the bride was not satisfied with the photos; or the photographer was intrusive during the ceremony; or bossed around the family members trying to get everyone in line to get the shot: Gaby was 100% opposite. We would hire her over and over, hands down. It rained buckets on our day, and she got magical photos even so. We cannot say enough great things about her and Benoit & McCarthy Photography! -

Nailed it!
We had the pleasure of working with Benoit & McCarthy Photography , at Black Swan Country Club, and I would totally recommend working with both David & Gaby!
We first contacted David after seeing their work at Black Swan hung up on the walls. The quality and uniqueness stood out to us right away! We were looking for a photographer who would have fun with us but also get us timeless photos.
After speaking with David and letting him know I would be having a darker wedding, I knew right away we were making the right decision. I had one single request and he NAILED IT!
We also ended up adding the Photo Booth option, which every single person who used it has went out of their way to tell us how much fun it was. They were able to receive their photos instantly and we got a link with all the photos from the night.
If you are looking for timeless photography and want someone who will listen to your wants and go above and beyond that look no further.

Beyond the extra mile!
We were incredibly pleased with our experience with Benoit & McCarthy!! What a team, Gaby & David are. They did our engagement photos back in May and we were very happy with them as well. So many different shots of us in relaxed "lifestyle" poses that we loved them. During our wedding preparation, Gaby communicated with us clearly & often to let us know exactly what would transpire on our special day. A timeline of the photo taking was created and it made us confident as how the day would unfold. Ultimately, they met our expectations & beyond, kept the flow of the event moving with the photo taking, And, they really knew how to work with us, our wedding party and guests to transform the event into a memorable one. My husband and I had an extremely positive experience working with Benoit & McCarthy photography for our wedding photos. We were planning a wedding on a tight budget and reached out to Gaby because we loved her portfolio. To our excitement and surprise, her price quote was the most reasonable quote that we received in the dozens of photographers we reached out to.

David and Gabby were very professional and prompt. As I am not very photogenic (and shared this with David and Gabby) they ensured that my wedding photographs came out beautifully. We started our search for photographers with a preferred list from our wedding vendor and didn't have to look any further after talking with Gabby. Having her familiar with our venue was an added bonus. Going into the wedding planning process, we knew that we wanted someone who could guide us through those signature wedding shots and poses and suggest when/where to take them. We felt so confident after our first interactions that she and her team were going to take care of us. We also had our young nieces and nephews included in the wedding party and photos. As can be expected with toddlers, the younger ones began to lose interest in having their picture taken - but Gabby and her partner interacted so well with the little ones to gather their attention back to the camera and had us all smiling and laughing. Benoit & McCarthy was our top pick for our wedding photographer and boy let me tell you, choose them!! You will not regret it!!
We had Dave and Tom the day of our wedding and we couldn't have been happier with how everything turned out!! We are absolutely in LOVE with all of our photos!!! Everything during the process (booking to planning to day of) was amazing! Dave was able to capture me getting ready, while Tom went with my husband and his groomsmen. They were both able to capture so many aspects of the small details to different angles from our ceremony to our reception! We were a little worried with our photos because when my husband and I normally take photos, one of us is smiling and the other isn't, but Dave and Tom were great! They told us when to smile and when to be serious, or give a little bit more attitude!
To be honest, we didn't even see them capture our big moments, because we were so present in what was going on that we didn't even notice our vendors. So being able to see what they captured is truly amazing and we're in awe!! We can't stop looking at them. My husband and I worked with Gaby and her assistant for our September 2021 wedding. We had booked them for our wedding back in 2019 for our original wedding date of June 2020, but of course with the pandemic, we've had to move our wedding date 5 times. Each time we had to move it, the team at Benoit&McCarthy were super friendly and flexible. They were very responsive and understanding, and they updated our contract immediately to reflect our new wedding date. We also did not get charged for any fees for moving the date, even after 5 times! We were so grateful for their understanding in regard to this situation as I'm sure it was a very difficult time for their business. When it came around to our wedding in Sept 2021, we had a quick call with Gaby to go through our timeline and she asked us some questions so she could better understand our family dynamics and traditions. She was always very professional and had great communication. On our wedding day, it was wonderful working with her and her assistant - they had great energy and made us feel very comfortable (we don't usually like being in photos!). She also helped keep us roughly on time even though my family delayed us by an hour. The final photos with edits were delivered to us roughly 1 month after our wedding. Considering how busy photographers are during the Fall season, we were very happy with the timing and the photos came out beautiful. We couldn't have been happier! We want to thank Gaby and her team for all the hard work and for being such great people to work with! -

We booked with Gaby right away and this was one of the easiest and best decisions I made throughout my entire wedding planning process. Starting at our engagement photoshoot Gaby was amazing! She worked amazingly with our dog, location, and all our photography wishes! Our engagement photos came out amazing and everyone wanted to know who did them, and we got so many compliments. A few months before the wedding Gaby called to finalize the details, timeline, etc. She was professional, ahead of schedule and organized (something I loved). If you are looking for someone who knows photography, is personable, friendly, fun and takes breathtaking photos, look no further!!! After only a week and a half we got all our photos back and they were beyond our expectations! Gaby is a phenomenal photographer and does a wonderful job capturing the love and moments of your special day.
Gaby also made me and my wife feel no less the entire process. We are a same sex couple and throughout the wedding process there were numerous times vendors made us feel awkward or strange. She NEVER made us feel less than and was LGBTQ friendly the entire process. As a same sex couple I am very grateful for this and wish more vendors were like Gaby! -

Fantastic day despite a rainy wedding day which ran late.
Gaby was fantastic, I highly recommend her and would give her 10+ Stars if I could. I got married on Memorial Day and the day prior she called so we could re-plan the day as my
Original plans wouldn’t work in the rain. She always made sure the bridal party stood straight and evenly spaced. She also got right out in the rain with my husband and I to make sure we had the photos we always dreamed of. Additionally, due to the rain our wedding ran behind schedule - when it was her time to leave she came over to me and offered to stay longer for a fee. I am in love with all of my photos and can’t say thank you enough! -

Gaby was absolutely phenomenal! We first learned of Benoit & McCarthy at a wedding expo and their team at Nu Image was super helpful, transparent, and warm! They're sample images were stunning and when we went in for a meeting they made us feel at ease and were true professionals. We chose them for our wedding because the value for the product felt like a great buy. Then…..we had Gaby for our engagement photos….she blew me away. We were dodging rain all day, and she was more than accommodating with us on time and location. She was able to scope out a new location, since we had to reschedule, and I couldn’t have been more pleased! She made me feel so comfortable in front of the camera, and really captured our love and personality in film. We got the photos back super fast, and had so many to choose from! Fast forward the wedding, she captured all of the small things and big things. She accommodated families, extended families, and friends---and did all of that with swift expertise! The pictures are TIMELESS and her gift is a treasure. -

She has a mind filled with creative imagery, an eye for the perfect shot and lighting, and a patient, relaxed demeanor that made her a fun and easy person to work with. The entire experience was immensely enjoyable.
The only word that can describe the final photos is STUNNING, far better than anything we ever thought possible, and super prompt! Within days we had the images in our inbox, including over 50 selected shots that had additional edits to make them look even more spectacular.

Picking a photographer is so nerve wrecking, I must have contacted about 50 different ones. Then I talked to Benoit & McCarthy, they were so easy to talk to, answered all of my questions and had great prices. We did not do an engagement session so I was a little nervous how we would interact with the photographers on the day of, however Gaby and Kamal were amazing!! We talked a multiple days prior to the wedding so I felt more comfortable and then the day of, it was so easy going, it felt like we had been working together for years. Taking the photos was effortless! They went with the flow and we even went to an extra location the day of. They are experts at their job and it shows. Our family and friends loved them, we loved them and I would recommend them over and over again. We just got our photos back and they are AMAZING!! Let me start by saying I am not usually the kind of girl who likes her picture taken. I’m shy, and usually pretty nervous. One of the reasons I chose Gaby is because she made these feelings go away.
Gaby was a “preferred vendor” at my venue, Misselwood. After seeing the photos that Gaby, and her equally talented spouse David, were able to create, I had to have her.
Gaby did my engagement photos, and after an amazing session at the beautiful Good Harbor Beach (Gaby’s suggestion!) I knew she was my perfect match.
When Gaby arrived at my mother’s house on my wedding day she had such a calm and professional vibe. I was able to relax and focus on ME because I knew Gaby had the ever-important wedding pictures totally covered.
