    Wildman wedding

    There are not enough words to describe how wonderful Ben Wheeler photography is! He is absolutely a delight to work with and omg is he helpful! He truly went above and beyond helping me keep tract of everything to helping round up family for pictures and on a absolute heatwave of a day he always was positive and cheery and just absolutely a pleasure to work with! 10/10 would recommend and have recommended all my engaged friends were impressed and even asked for his number!

    Beautiful Pictures and Personalized Service from a professional who truly cares

    Ben made our day very special. Besides being extremely talented, he was down to earth, easy going and flexible. We felt like he really cared about us and had contagious enthusiasm. Our pictures are beautiful. We are very happy we selected Ben Wheeler!

    Absolutly flawless!

    I could not be happier. I have a few pictures that Ben has sent over and they are so great!! I can't wait to see what he does with the others!

    Throughout the planning, engagement shoot and wedding day Ben was professional and passionate about his work. Ben was flexible and took the time to listen to what we were hoping to get out of our photos. The photos came out beautiful! We highly recommend Ben Wheeler :)

    We had the best experience with Ben as our photographer! He took gorgeous photos and it is obvious that he enjoys his job! We had so many guests at our wedding comment on how awesome our photographer was! Ben was flexible to our requests, very responsive, and had great energy! Highly recommend him to anyone looking for a fun and professional wedding photographer!

    Though Ben didn't know us personally when we asked him to be our photographer, he immediately caught our enthusiasm for the challenging venue. Since our wedding was on an island with no direct boat access, we had to make some adjustments for the tide. Ben rolled with the changes. Not only did we truly enjoy his company, he took the most gorgeous photographs, and captured our personalities perfectly.

    Nearly one year after our June 2017 wedding... I am finally able to write a review for Ben Wheeler. I am glad I waited to wrote this review. Because as time has passed, I have become even more grateful and appreciative of Ben's work. Our wedding was the second marriage for us and the most important part of it was having our family and friends with us - especially our parents. Sadly, just a few months after our wedding, my husband's father passed away. One of the photos Ben took of him is the last photo we have of him smiling and one we will cherish for the rest of our lives.

    We knew Ben was "the one" right after we met him. HE is so easy to talk with, he is sentimental, professional and we wanted a lot of candid shots - more than poised one's. Ben did NOT disappoint! Our Wedding was in the coast of Maine - outdoors. the weather was perfect and Ben helped us capture our wedding, our guests and the amazing beauty that is the coast of Maine. He also captured our "dog" - Jethro perfectly! Our favorite photo is of us and Jethro on the rocks by a lighthouse. Breathtaking and so personal.

    Ben stayed the entire night of our wedding and after-party. He blended in so well - many guests thought he was one of the family. You know what - he is! Thank you Ben:)

    My only advice is this... BOOK BEN! If he is available for your date... don't hesitate. Not only did we receive stunning wedding photos but our guests really enjoyed interacting with Ben during our wedding. From date discussion to final product we couldn't be happier with Ben Wheeler Photography.

    My experience with Ben Wheeler was wonderful. I thoroughly enjoyed working with him from the beginning phases of the contract all the way through the day of our wedding. Ben made the whole process simple and enjoyable. On the day of the wedding, Ben was fun, easy going and professional. He made the whole process seem so natural. Ben had the perfect attitude, he was focused and hard working, but also hilarious and fit right in with our wedding party. He is the type of person that you meet and immediately want to be friends with, which makes the photography aspect of the wedding so fun. I was also so impressed with how many photos he took, the quality of them and his creative and artistic touch. He covered everything from the wedding party, the decorations and shots of the venue, which I am so happy to have as it was such a special and important part of our wedding weekend. Ben really captured the magic of our day, and it shows in the photos. I would highly recommend him as a wedding photographer. He does absolutely fabulous work and has incredible energy!

    such creativity and passion for capturing those perfect moments! I felt like Ben was a special part of my wedding day and it wouldn't have been the same without him! Everyone loved him, and his work is truly breathtaking!

    My experience with Ben was fabulous.
    Ben has the perfect attitude to be a photographer. When I first met him, he told me how much he loves weddings, and loves photography. It definitely shows in his work. He brought that same enthusiasm to the day of the wedding. He was friendly, upbeat, and kind.
    He took away any jitters or awkward feelings I had about being photographed, and made me feel beautiful and special.
    Ben was creative with our formal pictures, and allowed our personalities to come through. My groom and I enjoy having fun and being silly. Ben encouraged us, and captured the day wonderfully. Best of all, I love the candid shots from the wedding.
    The pictures came out wonderfully! I would recommend Ben to anyone

    There are certain special people in the world that have the natural ability to make others feel instantly comfortable - I mean completely, 100%, it-feels-like-we've-known-each-other-for-years type of comfortable. And Ben Wheeler is absolutely one of those special people, and it is one (of many) reasons why he rocked our wedding day. He captured it perfectly and he made it seem effortless (though we know he was working his butt off), and he made us feel like there wasn't anywhere else he'd rather be than there with us. We enjoyed every minute, and I think he did, too - we loved him, all of our guests loved him, and we would without hesitation recommend him to anyone and everyone. He took amazing/stunning/gorgeous pictures that make me relive the day every time I look through them. We are forever and ever grateful.

    Ben was a wonderful photographer! He took both our engagement and wedding photos and we had wonderful experiences with both shoots. Neither my (now) Husband or I are particularly natural in front of cameras but Ben made us feel very relaxed. Ben did a wonderful job photographing our wedding: he got great quality shots and he really covered everything that anyone could want photographed at their wedding: from the decorations to candids on the dance floor, to formal family photos to impromptu group photos at the reception to nature shots of the surroundings of the venue, he covered it all! I was particularly impressed by his ability to get photos of my husband and I as well as our parents and all the bridesmaids and groomsmen during the service without any of us noticing (i.e. taking truly candid photos and without disturbing the service at all). Overall, I would highly recommend Ben if you're planning on having professional photos taken in the Central Maine area.

    Ben has become a good friend of ours after a year a planning our wedding! He was confident , reliable, and listen to every detail we discussed. We couldn't have asked for a better photographer. We still have friends say how beautiful our wedding pictures are some of the best they have seen. All thanks to Ben! A quality that we loved about Ben is that he listened, help guide us , and really made the day calm during all the wonderful business!

    Ben and his wife Heidi are the absolute best guests-I mean photographers-you could ever hope to have at your wedding! They felt like part of the celebration with their upbeat personalities, really getting people excited about taking group shots, and blending in perfectly for the unplanned shots. Several of my guests then booked Ben based on how fun he was at the wedding-and how gorgeous his pictures are :) When we had our son the following year we wanted Ben to be the photographer to hold a newborn session. I plan to use Ben as a photographer for as long as he's snapping photos!

    Ben's amazingly personal photos always bring me back to the feelings I had on that special day! We treasure our photos. Ben was a fun part of our wedding, fitting right in with the party! He really captures the essence of people and feelings!

    Amazing job!

    Ben did an amazing job on my wedding! I had originally reached out to a few different photographers who were booked for my date and one of them sent me Ben's contact. And I'm glad they did! He was super laid back and fun but got the job done. He could have easily been mistaken for one of the guests on the dance floor dancing with everyone while simultaneously capturing incredible photos. I had so many people tell me how much they loved the photographer. He was very personable. I couldn't be happier. Thank you so much Ben!

    Ben was fantastic - we used him for both our engagement shoot and wedding. For our wedding, he was there early and left later than promised. He also gave us way more pictures than specified in our contract from the goodness of his heart. He was very friendly and the guests loved him. I will note that he was incredibly busy the summer he shot our wedding, so he might have been able to spend more time on our pictures had it been at a different time. However, in terms of value and feeling like you have a teammate at your wedding, he was absolutely great!
