Working with Ben Ramos Photography was easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.
We first met Ben for our engagement shoot, and he was incredible. He didn't just take high-quality photos; he truly captured the essence of our relationship and how we feel about each other in every frame. Plus, he made the entire session so much fun!
For our wedding day, we worked with his associate, Yoni Gill, who brought that same amazing energy. Yoni made us feel so loved and seen throughout the entire day. He has a gift for being everywhere at once without being noticed, capturing every beautiful candid moment. Looking back at the photos, we are able to relive the raw emotion of the day over and over again.
To top it all off, the turnaround time was mind-blowing. Ben edited the entire collection and had them back to us in less than two weeks! The edits are stunning and the quality is top-tier. We are so grateful to Ben and Yoni for giving us these memories. If you want photographers who make you feel comfortable and deliver breathtaking results, look no further! -

We reached out to Ben last spring in advance of our March 2025 wedding. Ben got back to my initial inquiry via text within an hour on a weekend. He asked my questions extremely fast and encouraged me to view his associates’ portfolios to give me an idea of who we’d like to work with.
We selected his associate Jeremy and Ben put us in touch on signing the contract. Our package included an engagement session with Jeremy and also allowed us the opportunity to meet him. He put us at ease throughout the session and even sat down to have a drink with us afterwards.
Fast forward to our wedding day, our package included 10 hours of continuous coverage with Jeremy and another associate. McKenzie accompanied Jeremy for the day and the two of them did a great job getting a large quantity of photos in before the ceremony so that we could enjoy the cocktail hour with our guests. Jeremy arrived at my hotel for the getting ready photos and instantly put me at ease during a truly overwhelming morning.
Ben personally reached out with our wedding preview photos (at least 50+) about a week later so we got to enjoy them while still on our honeymoon. Ben personally edits all photos and we couldn’t be happier with how both the engagement and wedding photos have turned out. I highly highly recommend Ben and Jeremy for all special event photography needs. -

We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Ben Ramos Photography! Ben and his second shooter, Mike, made our wedding day so incredibly special. Not only did they capture every meaningful moment beautifully, but they also brought such positive energy that made us feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the day.
We also had Ben and Mike cover our rehearsal dinner, and it was worth every penny. Having them there allowed our close family and friends to meet them before the big day, which made everything feel even more natural and seamless.
Ben and Mike are the perfect duo — like yin and yang. They have the most incredible eye for capturing both the big, emotional moments and the small, candid details that mean so much. When it came time for family and wedding party photos, they were incredibly organized, ensuring everything ran smoothly and efficiently — which was such a relief.
Ben also captured our engagement photos, which I would highly recommend! Having the same photographer for both events made things feel so comfortable and natural, and it allowed Ben to really get to know us as a couple.
Since our wedding, we’ve had so many family members and friends reach out to tell us how impressed they were with Ben and Mike’s work. Their talent, professionalism, and warm personalities made them such a joy to work with. We are beyond grateful for the memories they captured and would highly recommend Ben Ramos Photography to anyone looking for truly exceptional photographers! -

Where do I start??? Ben and Yoni (his second shooter of the day) absolutely KILLED shooting my wedding. The photos are bright, crisp, and captured the moments of our big day with no distractions. We are absolutely obsessed. I also appreciate the true-to-color editing style of ben and his team, it truly feels like re-living the day as it happened!!! AND he somehow got my super dark church to look BRIGHT and gorgeous!! The pics speak for themselves! -

Ben Ramos and his team are AMAZING!!! We chose to hire his associate photographer, Mikaila Dunsenberry, who brought her assistant Claire with her. The two of them together captured our wedding in a way we had always dreamed of and were so wonderful to work with. They were extremely easy-going, fun and calm throughout the entire day which really helped with any nerves we had. Not only that, but in the weeks leading up to the wedding, Mikaila was such a huge help in creating our wedding day timeline and making sure we had every detail covered, which was heaven for a bride with a type A personality. In fact, I know that our day would not have gone as smoothly as it did without her assistance and expertise. In addition to photos, we utilized the Hype Booth which Ben set up and took down himself and our guests had a blast with it! After the wedding, the editing process went wonderfully and Ben was more than accommodating with any last minute requests we had. Him and his team all have such fun, bubbly and kind personalities and are truly just phenomenal at their job. We cannot recommend Ben and his team enough and we will be obsessing over our photos for the rest of our lives! We hope to use his services again in the future for other life events! -

Highly Recommend!!!
Ben's associate, Mikaila, shot our Chicago wedding in June of 2022. I cannot recommend her and Ben's services enough! Ben was highly responsive and we got our entire wedding gallery back in just 4 weeks! Mikaila and her assistant Madelaine were such a wonderful presence on our wedding day. Mikaila worked easily with our other vendors and arrived on time. She was laid back and very easy to be around but also confident in her working directive when needed. Mikaila also shot our engagement photos and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. This team was an absolute pleasure to work with and I would recommend them to anyone for their event or wedding day! -

We were lucky to have Ben as our wedding photographer! Working with him was incredibly smooth and easy from start to finish. We set up a call with him several weeks before the wedding to go over our wedding timeline and the meeting was extremely efficient, productive, and fun! Ben manages to strike the perfect balance between being incredibly professional while still being absolutely hilarious and a joy to work with. On the day of the wedding, Ben was thorough and captured all the beautiful details of the day, including our time getting ready, photos of the venue, of the flowers and place settings, the ceremony space, etc, and of course captured amazing shots of our family and friends throughout the evening. He is energetic, lively, and just a lot of fun to have around, especially on the dance floor! Not to mention, the photos came out better than we imagined, and we are so thrilled to have these as keepsakes forever. We cannot recommend Ben enough! -

The absolute best
Ben and his team are worth every PENNY… even my penny pinching fiancé admitted to this! Every guest thought Ben was a friend of ours we hired, but that’s why he’s the best. Him and his team make you feel like family or lifelong friends. His energy, spirit, and talents can’t be matched. He is able to capture the best photos because he makes you so comfortable with the process, which truthfully can be awkward or time consuming at times.

If you want the best of the best, you ONLY hire Ben Ramos. He went absolutely above and beyond when it came to me and my husbands elopement that was an 11 hour flight away. Ben was extremely accommodating, warm, and made you feel super comfortable. My husband and I didn’t know what to expect since we’ve never had professional photos done before, and Ben had us feeling (and looking) like supermodels. From start to finish, everything went smoothly and perfectly. Ben always made sure we were okay. If we ever hire a photographer for some reason in years to come, Ben is the only person we will end up hiring. You will not be disappointed!!!!! -

Ben is the most amazing wedding photographer! We booked him back in 2019, and finally had our wedding celebration in Nov 2021. We also had a mini ceremony in summer 2020, and Ben was so gracious to photograph that day as well! He captures the sweetest and most fun moments at a wedding, and we could not have had a better time with him. We aren't camera shy per se, but he helped guide us through poses and made them look natural (even if our cheeks were feeling stiff from smiling so much haha). We got so many compliments about Ben from our guests about how he was so engaging and fun to be around! One of our guests noted how well Ben is able to capture groups of friends together and notice all of the joy and love that people are sharing during the wedding. I met Ben from a friend years before I got married and from the second I saw his work, I knew I wanted to hire him.
His enthusiasm, his professionalism, his work ethic, and his pure talent to capture the best moments in your life are truly what he does best.
This was the third time I've worked with Ben and he truly out does himself each time.
I've worked with other photograhers in the past and I can clearly see how Ben stands out. Ben takes the time that Ive seen others NOT do. Ben takes the time to make sure your hair is in place, your head is right, he makes sure everyone in the photo is even, smiling and every background is PERFECT.
My family, co-workers and friends told me over and over again how AMAZING Ben was, how fun he was and just how over all wonderful he was on our wedding day!

Planning a wedding in the middle of a global pandemic is…what’s the best word? Interesting? Disheartening? Challenging? Hard. It’s hard. You know what made it easier and helped to breathe life and refocus us on the things that truly mattered in our day? Our awesome team of vendors who ooze joy for what they do. When we first met Ben and his adorable puppy, Norman, we instantly saw Ben’s genuine heart and authentic attitude. From the start, he proves himself as your ultimate hype guy. We could instantly tell that he truly wants what’s best for his couples. We could have never known when we booked him in February how much we’d need his overflowing joy and positivity throughout our planning process. We planned for a big July 2020 wedding and to no one’s surprise, had to postpone until we could host at least our close family and friends for a much more intimate gathering in September of 2020. Unfortunately, postponing a wedding that was 95% planned comes with its’ challenges—one of them being that our ultimate hype guy was already scheduled to shoot another wedding on our new wedding date. This was one of those moments that could have caused a pandemic wedding-planning tailspin, but not only is Ben insanely positive in the face of a challenge (and in literally every situation in which we’ve interacted ever), he’s also a legit business owner and has so many insanely talented people on his team. You know how quality people attract quality people? Well, Ben, a super quality person, set us up with his amazingly quality Associate, Wes, for our big day, and we could not have been more pleased! We were instantly in the best of hands with Wes, and his calm and confident demeanor was a wonderful match for how hyped myself, my husband, and our bridal party were. He made sure to get to know what was important to us and capture all the little details of our day. Our photos are beautiful, and many family and friends commented on how Wes truly captured our personalities and the joy of the day. Ben even stopped by at the end of the reception to say hi (and to pack up the photo booth he supplied for us). Yet again, he was the ultimate hype guy and we loved having his energy as part of our day, if only for a little while. We will cherish these photos and memories forever and are so grateful to have met Ben and Wes in this process. Please hire Ben Ramos Photography. You won’t regret it. And legit, if pandemic wedding planning has you down and you need a hype guy, that’s a good enough reason to inquire with Ben. Happy wedding planning! -

From start to finish, Ben made us feel SO comfortable and hyped! He was just as excited about our day as we were, and I'm telling you, that makes all the difference. He listened to our vision and executed it perfectly! The day of, he went above and beyond to get shots that he knew would be INSANE (we were on a golf course by a lake and near the lake was blocked off - he made it happen so we could bypass and get STUNNING sunset pics by the lake). At the end of the night, EVERYONE was coming up to us like omg, who is your photographer, he is AMAZING and that just made me soooo happy that they got to experience the same thing my husband and I did from the start. Where do I even begin?! Finding the perfect photographer to capture our wedding was something most important to me during the planning process. I came across Ben’s work on social media and was instantly BLOWN AWAY. I knew I had to have him shoot my wedding. I was a Covid bride and did have to reschedule my original wedding date and one of my fears was that Ben wouldn’t be available for my new day. He was so communicative and accommodating as we had to navigate something so unpredictable and for that we are grateful. My husband and I were THRILLED when we found Ben Ramos Photography - Ben is hilarious (you should follow his Instagram, @iambenramos), very easy to connect with, and his team is STACKED. His associate Aaron Bean was the one who shot our wedding, and we both quickly realized that hiring him was the best decision we had made. Aaron is extremely personable, a BLAST to be around, and was so kind to our entire wedding party - they told us afterwards that he had so many wonderful words to share with them, and that meant a lot to us. Aaron was down to party the entire time, kept our photos moving and grooving, and we are so excited to see them - I am writing this pre-them coming back because I have full confidence they will exceed our expectations. We were so happy with our experience working with Ben! My husband is usually pretty camera shy, but Ben was able to make him feel comfortable, and he actually ended up enjoying getting his picture taken! This is not just a job for Ben...it's a passion and it shows! We first worked with him January 2016 (my sisters wedding), so of course when I got engaged he is the only photographer that I wanted! Ben is one of the most positive and energetic people I have ever met! He knows exactly what to say and do to make you feel comfortable in front of a camera..and he doesn't even try! It all comes so naturally to him! I can't say enough about his personality, but I promise you there is nobody like him!
Now regarding his skills...just look at the photos! Each is unique, each has so much emotion captured in it! My fiance and I are pretty bad at posing but Ben made us feel like models 🙈. Pictires last and when I look back at them 20 years from now I want them to convey all or the emotions I felt during the shoot. We could not have picked a better photographer to capture our love.

We are so very happy that we worked with Ben for our wedding. It’s been about a month since we got our pictures back and I still look through them every day (and he gave us nearly 1000 pictures!!). We picked a 10 hour package with two shooters, and it was perfect for what we wanted. We had the cutest engagement shoot (featuring our dog) and it was so valuable and reassuring to us knowing that we could vibe with Ben ahead of the wedding, and that his pictures were what we were looking for. At the wedding, Ben and Emily were so relaxed and go-with-the flow the whole day/night, and took amazing shots of us and our families. Even though we were running late to get to the landmark portrait part of the day, we were able to hit every location we wanted (including Wrigley Field during a game day) and made it to the venue on time. Ben was great at making sure pedestrians milling about didn’t get in the way, even at packed places like the Bean and Wrigley. In all of our photos, it’s so clear that we are all having a carefree great time, and it looks like the whole city stopped just for us. I could go on and on, but ultimately, we picked Ben because his photos capture the kind of candid moments we knew we wanted to capture, and he absolutely lived up to that. We both are shy when it comes to taking pictures, but he’s such a great hype man (!!) that you can’t help but get into it and feel more confident. I know all of our guests felt the same way. I’m going to go look at our photos again now…thanks Ben!! -

UPDATE after our 2021 Wedding...
Ben and his team were nothing short of perfection for our 8/7/2021 wedding! After postponing a year due to COVID we needed to use his associate, Aaron, for our big day- but Ben made sure we were in amazing hands! Ben still was in touch with us leading up to the day and after as well! And OMG... Aaron could not have been a better fit for us! His energy kept the day fun and it felt like he was one of our besties partying with us! His team was flexible, fun, and kept the day running smooth. Would 100% hire Ben AND his associates for your big day!
We recently booked Ben for our 2020 wedding... he was legit the FIRST person besides family that knew I was engaged.. that's how bad we wanted him! Our Engagement Session with him was AMAZING. My fiance isn't a huge fan of standing for photos.. but the 2hr session FLEW by! It felt like we were just being us and hanging with a long time friend! The previews we have gotten from our session are UNREAL... all our family and friends can't believe how perfectly Ben captured our personality & love for eachother through a photo! At first I was worried I wouldn't be able to find someone who fit my vibe and expectations that would also fit into my budget. Although we ended up paying a little more for Ben, it was worth it 100000%. He was the most attentive, professional, fun, and talented photographer I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I did not have a wedding planner and Ben literally took over an hour of his time and helped craft my timeline for the day of, which is above and beyond a photographer's role. He also texted me the morning of the big day and asked if I needed anything which was super sweet. He ALSO made the photo sessions fun and relaxing which is hard to find in a lot of photographers (bridal party loved his vibe). Besides the fact that he is an awesome human....he produces THE BEST QUALITY PHOTOS. They are better than I ever could have imagined. All of my friends and family are obsessed with them. I cannot wait to recommend him to many more people in the future. So, moral of the story, stop looking and book Ben now, I promise you won't regret it. :) -

We found Ben on Instagram even before we seriously started looking for a wedding photographer, and we are SO GLAD we did!! Let me help you right now: call/email Ben and get your date reserved because you will NOT regret it! I first met Ben when he shot my girlfriend's wedding. His energy and approach are different than any other photographer I've seen! He shoots from the inside-out and is every bit part of your day. My husband and I did that thing where you go back-and-forth, say, "Ohh, I don't know, sigh..." but wound up pulling the trigger! O.M.G. I cannot honestly put into words how amazing Ben’s work is. He traveled all the way to Alaska (and stayed in a tiny house 🤦🏼♀️) to shoot for my husband and i’s Wedding! I still tear up looking back at our photos. It was SUCH a special day and he captured it perfectly. We did a destination wedding with just our immediate family, so photos were extremely important to us. We wanted to make sure everyone who wasn’t there felt that they experienced it! And thanks to his photos that was accomplished ♥️ Most people when asked what they would change about their wedding, day they wanted a different photographer or more photos...but we definitely will NEVER say that. I wouldn’t change a thing about this day. -

We knew instantly that he was the perfect fit for us. We spent quality time with him during our engagement session and it was an instant bond. He has a way of making you feel comfortable and confident. We felt like we knew him for years. Our wedding was this past weekend and we couldn't ask for a better day. The pictures are flawless and all my friends who got married before me were jealous they didn’t use him for their wedding! From scheduling our engagement session to being prepared for our wedding day, I could not have been happier with everything he did for us. I was so nervous for the weather on our wedding day and as soon as Ben arrived in my hotel room he calmed every nerve I had by saying "I'm here, your photos will be bomb either way." Which of course I knew was true, but it was so comforting that he was so calm, cool and collected on our big day. Ben is also the life of the freakin party! He gets everyone so hyped up, I don't think there was a time where our entire wedding party didn't have a smile on their faces. I highly, highly recommend Ben for your engagement photos, your big day and beyond! We plan on using him for a lifetime if he'll let us!

The only think that lasts for a year, 5 years, 30 years is the pictures, so for me, it was worth putting my money into the photos. His editing skills are amazing and we are so thrilled with the almost 1,000 edited pictures he sent us! On our wedding day, and always, Ben was so fun and kept everything going smoothly throughout the whole day. Everyone loved him! We can’t wait to work with Ben in the future!

Overall, my family and I had a very disappointing experience with this company for my wedding. Our photographer McKenzie showed up an hour and 15 minutes late which threw off the schedule for the rest of the day and pushed back our reception (we missed quite a bit of our reception making up the photos). She also left about 20 mins earlier so we did not get our full 8 hours. McKenzie told us she had never shot a wedding before despite Ben telling me she had experience. She was quite unprofessional and rude to me and my husband, the wedding party, and our families in ways I cannot go into detail about without the post being removed. The worst part is that when my mom and I tried to express our frustration with Ben the owner day of and in the weeks following, he would not believe us that she was late until I found proof of her lying about when our start time was several months later. No partial refund, no additional services, all I have now is a flash drive with thousands of incorrect and unedited photos. I will not be using the company again and would not recommend it. I just feel that people deserve to know what they are buying and I wouldn’t want this experience for anyone else. They were both entirely disrespectful to me and my family. -
