Great Wedding Photographer!

Ben was not only an amazing photographer, but also a great guy. He kept s at ease the whole day of our wedding and we really enjoyed him! We loved that he stayed behind the scenes and didn't ask for posed photos all night. He took quality shots that really captured the fun throughout the whole wedding day that will last a lifetime. Talented photographer

Ben is so kind and easy to work with. He made every laugh and feel comfortable during our wedding. We also did a trash the dress session with him, with was the best decision we ever made!

Excellent wedding photographer!

Ben was wonderful to work with and was an excellent wedding photographer. We are so happy with our wedding photos and could not recommend him more. He was great at making sure we got all of the photos we had requested, and he was a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. Highly recommend him!!

Amazing Wedding Photographer Experience in Nassau, Bahamas!

We absolutely loved each part of our wedding experience with Ben! His immediate responsiveness and flexibility, enthusiastic energy, and over all approachable character made our wedding photographer selection an easy one. Ben worked with our budget and around our crazy work schedules to make sure that all the nitty-gritty details in ‘the-day-of’ planning was tailored to our liking and comfort. On the big day, Ben’s energy and expertise made each moment fun and upbeat, and even he even relaxed us by keeping our ‘formal picture time’ on-schedule. His vision for a beautiful sunset backdrop for our wedding pictures exceeded all our expectations and we absolutely love them. We truly could not have imaged a better wedding photography experience than the one we had with Ben!

Amazing photography from an even more amzing individual

Ben is without a doubt the best photographer my wife and I have ever experienced. His level of professionalism is top notch and the pictures he captures is better than what we could even imagine. Everyone says that photography is the what ends up being timeless from your wedding and Ben has definitely done that for us.

I cannot recommend Ben enough for anyone that gets married in the Bahamas! Thanks again Ben!

There's Ben, & then there's the rest....!

Having our dream wedding over 7000 miles away, & with it being just the two of us & no guests, we knew how important it was to choose the right photographer.

Ben set himself apart from the competition with his very first email to us! Literally everyone else wrote back about their fees, extras, accom & transport surcharges, etc. Ben just wanted to know about us!

He wanted to know about who we were as people, what ideas we had for our big day, & he was never short of offering up creative suggestions of his own. His passion & enthusiasm was infectious.

Meeting Ben for the first time on the day of our wedding was like meeting an old friend. He vapourised any hint of nerves with his calm & relaxed manner. We laughed from minute one, & spent the rest of the entire day laughing together.

Working with Ben was a dream - professional & assured, he knew exactly where to be & when. Discrete during the most intimate moments of our ceremony, dynamic in orchestrating shots during the more interactive periods.

Ben didn't just capture digital snapshots of our special day, he captured the feeling & the emotion, the intimacy & the love. His photographs are 3-dimensional living memories that we can relive forever.

booking Ben to do our wedding photos was so easy and his communication was 1st class
On the day he came and picked us up from our hotel and instantly put us at ease.
we were taken to lots of locations and the results were stunning..the comments from friends and family back home in Scotland have been amazing.
We are so happy with the whole experience ,nothing was to must trouble for Ben and his attention to detail is 1st class.
I would recommend Ben to anyone . The results we have completed a truly memorable day

Ben was an amazing photographer! He took beautiful pictures that we will cherish forever! My husband and I really loved working w Ben. The most unbelievable part was how quick I received our wedding photos. My friends had told me nightmare stories about how it takes over a year to get your wedding photos. Not only did Ben have all my photos to me in 1 month but they were amazing photos. I particularly loved our photoshoot on the beach. He is extremely professional and fun to be around. I would highly recommend Ben for photography. My husband and I had an amazing experience with him.

We found Ben Jamieson Photography online after looking for some help with wedding pics in the Bahamas. We specifically wanted a creative photographer with more of a photo-journalistic style vs posed. Not only was Ben extremely accommodating as we worked out a schedule but his pricing and ease of payment is user-friendly as well. And let me tell you Ben Jamieson is worth every penny. He drove us around the island, finding random spots for us to get the perfect shot. (I also was willing to climb rocks in heels, so that helped!) He's creative, spontaneous and really passionate about making sure that capture "you" (the couple)! Even after staying at Atlantis on Paradise Island for a week (which I do not recommend), our Trash the Dress session with Ben was hands-down our favorite experience of the whole trip. But most importantly, the Customer Service he provides is exceptional. He sent us a sneak peek gallery within days and fully edited photos to oooh/awww about only a week later!!! HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Ben Jamieson Photography for ANY celebration or event that you want stunning, magazine-quality photos to enjoy for years to come. Our friends and family have not stopped gushing over the images either! THANK YOU, BEN!

Ben was awesome to work with and my pictures were amazing. I'm old fashioned I guess and didn't want to do the "first look" pictures, we also didn't want to miss much of the party. We banged out the important pictures we wanted at record speed and were able to get back to the party. I wouldn't change a thing. Everything was perfect!

Ben is amazing. He was great to communicate with in the months leading up to our wedding, and he had some great ideas. He hiked cheerfully to the back of beyond on South Andros, and was very fun to work with. Our photo shoot with him was really fun and relaxed, and the pictures are absolutely fantastic. He even served as our witness at the wedding! I can't say enough about what a fantastic experience it was to work with him.

I don't have enough wonderful things to say about Ben. From the very first email and interaction with him..he was professional and helpful. When I saw his website the first thing came to mind about his pictures was "work of art"....his pictures are truly amazing, and I could only hope that our pictures would be the same. Well on our wedding day Ben truly delivered. He captured the essence and beauty of our wedding day. When we got them in the mail I was speechless...the angles and locations were truly remarkable. We recieved so many compliments from friends who saw them; and wanted to find out what photographer we used. You will not be disappointed by his work. If you want your unforgettable moments captured in a way that will embody the essence of the day; then he is your guy. He is very personable and makes you feel at ease during the photo shoot. When me and my husband return to the Bahamas for our 2 year wedding anniversary...he is the only photographer we are hiring.

Ben just shot our wedding last month and sent the pictures to us so quickly. They are incredibly gorgeous! I was hoping that we would have at least one perfect shot that we could hang over the mantel, and we got a bunch of beautiful choices. We chose him from the preferred list of Atlantis vendors and we could not be happier. He has a great personality and helps you to feel relaxed. We are so so happy with our choice to work with him. Ben Jamieson is professional, friendly, helpful, personable and his photographs are amazing! We got married in Atlantis on Valentine's Day. The package that I received through Atlantis included a photographer but after doing research, we decided to hire Ben Jamieson, based on his style of photography. We live in Texas and Ben did a wonderful job of keeping in email communication with us throughout the entire process. He also met with us in person for a pre-wedding consultation which he was on-time and incredibly helpful. On our wedding, he went out of his way to get unique pictures that captured our special day perfectly. After the wedding, he delivered our pictures timely and in a very elegant presentation. We were completely satisfied with Ben Jamieson Photography and would highly recommend him for your photography needs.

Ben was great! We hired him to have my maternity pictures taken. He met us on our agreed upon time and took time to find a location so that the beautiful paradise island sunset can be captured! He was fun to talk to but also very professional :) I got so many compliments on the photographs that we got back from him in the following week! By far, this was one of my most memorable moments while visiting Nassau.
My fiance and I decided to get our Engagements taken while in Nassau (because who doesn't want professional pics on a beach?), and spent days researching different photographers that would be available. Based on quality alone we were both drawn to the work completed by Ben. We fell in love with his portfolio and decided he would best capture what we wanted. He did not disappoint. The session itself was fun and energetic, and we both felt very comfortable while standing in front of the camera. He gave great direction, but at the same time he let us be ourselves so he could really capture our relationship on film. I would 100% recommend using him as your photographer if you will be in Nassau. You will not regret it. We are still trying to chose our favorite pics because every last print is beautiful. A wonderful experience and well worth every cent spent. I am so glad we had the opportunity to shoot with him. Thanks Ben!

Ben was wonderful. Our wedding was captured beautifully by him. He is incredibly creative and a true artist. I would recommend him to anyone. The "must have" shots are discussed ahead of time so you don't have to worry/remember on your big day to get the family members together for the portraits. He does it all! And all my guests loved him! He makes everyone feel comfortable and directs the shot seamlessly for a beautiful photo everytine. I also ordered albums from him which came out AMAZING and quickly! Thank you Ben for making our wedding truly special and capturing every moment!

Our wedding in Nassau was incredible and every moment was captured by Ben and his artistic ability to capture all the emotions thoughout the ceremony, cocktail and reception. He is truly talented and very professional. From beginning to end the process was seamless. He keeps in touch and goes through every detail of what you want from the photos and delivers! The USB with the photos came promptly and the album came shortly after and came out beautifully. Everyone that has seen it has never seen anything like it!
Pictures are one of the key elements to a memorable wedding and hiring Ben takes the pressure off, you won't be disappointed!

All I can say is wow. If you are having your wedding in Nassau don't waste your time with anyone else. The photos were amazing, his personality was amazing, and put it all together and it made our wedding amazing. Ben has a great personality and makes you feel extremely comfortable while you are taking your photographs that can feel awkward at times. He knew the beach inside and out and took us to the best locations for great shots. Ben was extremely flexible and stayed up to the final moments. The best part of the whole thing was when we received our photos. They were stunning. Ben returned them to us in less than a week and when we received them it looked like something out of a magazine. Just perfect! I rarely do reviews but I couldn't wait to get home to write this one which says it all.

Ben Jamieson captured my wedding in the Bahamas in April of this year. He did a wonderful job and was able to get fantastic shots of the wedding party beforehand, the ceremony, and the reception. All of his work was fabulous but, the best shots were on the beach. Ben was professional, engaging, and very easy to work with. During my wedding i didn't worry about whether or not the photographer was getting all the shots I wanted because I knew Ben was on top of it. I would highly recommend Ben Jamieson to friends, family, and brides-to-be!

Not only does Ben produce stunning images, but he's also a truly fantastic person to work with. Although it rained on our wedding day, you would have never known looking at our pictures. We had a destination wedding, so it was critical that we have the best photographer available or bring one with us. Well, there was no need to import one, Ben is the most AMAZING photographer I've worked with. Great sense of humor, yet a penultimate professional. He far exceeded our expectations. During the ceremony he was unobtrusive, we didn't even know he was there. He captured the moment phenomenally! Great artistic eye! No boring photos, (unless we requested them). Recommend him highly, in fact, we are going back to do a photo shoot with him in September.

Working with Ben Jamieson Photography was such a pleasure and great success! Being a bride who is quite uncomfortable with taking pictures, I was a bit anxious about having a camera flashing in my face all day and night. To my fortunate surprise, Ben managed to make me feel extremely comfortable from start to finish. Instead of making the bride/bridal party feel like they were working around him, he worked around us as we got dressed and ready for my big day. We even forgot he was in the room at one point! In the mix of all the wedding drama and chaos, Ben seamlessly captured every memorable part of my wedding without making us feel like we had to keep stepping away from all the fun to pose for a photo shoot. The candid shots he took are memories that I will forever cherish, love, and share. His flexible, calming and professional presence were truly invaluable to my husband and I on our wedding day.

We had a brilliant day and the photos that were took by Ben were amazing. He listened to everything my wife and I wanted and even took photos of of things that we didnt think of. All in all it was a great experience and we would recommend Ben for any occasion. Thanks a lot Ben for everything.

From the moment that we met Ben, we knew that he was the photographer that we wanted to capture our wedding day. He is a true professional with a creative eye and really listened to our ideas. Ben did such an amazing job shooting our wedding, everyone that has seen the pictures can't believe how great the turned out.

He was super flexible, created a custom package for our needs, and flew to the island where we were getting married. We cannot say enough about this guy, not only was he extremely professional but he was just a great person to have around on your wedding day. He has a nice, calming effect about his persona...that helped to transcend into a perfect a perfect day for me and my husband.

We highly recommend Ben, he is worth every penny! :)

Words can not begin to describe how amazingly talented Ben is. His kindness and quality of work went above and beyond our expectations. As a wedding photographer myself it was one of the biggest decisions for our big day. We are blown away at how amazing our photos turned out from our wedding and trash the dress session. There is not a thing bad I could say about Ben or his work. I highly recommend to book now!

In one word, Ben was amazing. The process of picking out a photographer (from such a great distance away) was rather daunting to us, as we were not quite sure what we were looking for. We presented four choices of photographers that we had found to a friend of ours who is a photographer to help us choose. It did not take him but a few minutes to pick out Ben as the clear winner, and best choice. We never looked back. From the get go, Ben was responsive to emails, friendly, and explained any and all questions that we had. We had the opportunity to meet Ben 5 months before our wedding, and it was a pleasure! He drove over 45 minutes to meet us at our hotel, and spent a great deal of time getting to know the two of us. His personality, confidence, and experience left us KNOWING that we were in great hands. In the days leading up to the wedding, Ben kept in touch with me, and made sure that he knew exactly what I wanted, and how the flow of things would be going.
The day of the wedding, Ben showed up (right on time) and just started clicking away. He stayed with us for the whole day, and he was a pleasure to have around!
Before we even were able to get back from our honeymoon, there was already an email waiting for me with an online gallery of pictures! And THEY WERE AMAZING!!!!!!!!! Less than a month after the wedding, he already has the first draft of our wedding album in my inbox. Can you ask for more? I dont think so! I would highly recommend Ben to anybody and everybody. His pictures were phenonemal, and we were extremely happy with him, his services, and his pictures!!!

Ben was so wonderful and easy to work with from every moment leading up to the wedding, the day of, and even AFTER the wedding when it came to putting our album together (which by the way, came out ABSOLUTELY beautifully). Ben is extremely accommodating and was so fun to work with. You know you have a wonderful photographer when you don't even notice him the entire wedding day. He just zipped around and snapped pictures without making a scene. HIGHLY recommend working with Ben!

We loved Ben Jamieson Photography! The pictures turned out gorgeous. He was great to work with and so down to earth. Makes you feel so relaxed and never rushed felt like one of the family! We found him online never met him till the day of the wedding what a great choice we made.

Words cannot explain what a wonderful job Ben did photographing our Destination Wedding! Not only was he professional and personable, but we instantly felt comfortable around him, almost as if we had known him for years! I cannot find enough good things to say about Ben!

Though I planned a small wedding in the Bahamas, I knew I wanted pictures to capture my special day. In my search for a photographer local to Nassau, I ran across Ben's website and immediately fell in love with his style of photography.

I viewed the work of others, but found myself coming back to his website time and time again. Before even having met him, I shared his online work with friends and family. He was the one I wanted, and there was no changing this bride's mind.

Ben is punctual, amiable, and great in helping the subjects of his work feel at ease.

I love the end product, and cannot wait to display them at home!

We can't say enough about how lucky we were to have Ben as our wedding photographer. His work is amazing and we loved all of our pictures. Not only that his turn around getting the pictures back to us was unheard of! We had all of our pictures back from him before we even returned from our honeymoon! We loved working with Ben- he captured every single moment of the wedding more perfectly than I could have even imagined. Without a doubt, if you are getting married in the Bahamas, you have to have Ben as your photographer. In fact, anyone getting married anywhere should consider him!

Planning a destination wedding can be scary! Due to my fiance (now hubby :) ) and I not getting to visit our location before the actual wedding meant not getting to meet with my photographer before I walked down the aisle! I was so nervous because pictures of our wedding was the most important thing to me. All my worrying was pointless!!!!

Ben did an amazing job with our wedding and trash the dress pictures! He captured our personalities and our guests' perfectly! Ben was extremely patient with us and took the time to ensure we had photographs we would love. He made both of us feel comfortable and made sure we were always happy!

Each and every one of our pictures is incredible!!!! He has an incredible artistic eye and waits until just the right moment to take a shot. I love our photographs and will cherish them forever. I am so thankful to have our wedding memories preserved in such a gorgeous way!

Ben is FANTASTIC!!!!!!! Anyone going to the Bahamas would be crazy not to use him!!!!

Honestly, Ben is THE BEST! Planning a destination wedding can be a little nervewracking. Atlantis gave us a few recommendations for photographers, but we weren't impressed with their portfolios. After searching through wedding blogs, we found Ben. He was amazing. His pictures are stunning and all of our guests loved him. He's got one of those personalities that makes you feel like you've known him forever. We didn't want a videographer so we needed pictures that would tell the story of our day. We got that and more!

Unfortunatly it rained on our wedding day so we couldn't take any outdoor pictures. Since we were staying for a week following our wedding, Ben was super flexible about coming back to take some portraits of us on the beach. He checked in with us the day after to let us know the weather for the next few days and gave us a tentative time based on the weather. Basically if it ended up raining late afternoon on Tuesday he would come Wednesday instead. How flexible is that? The pictures from that day are some of our favorite.

My husband does not like taking pictures and wasn't excited for that part of the wedding. Ben's style is one that he's not in your face making you pose in awkward positions. He makes you comfortable and the photos look effortless.

The most impressive part about Ben is when we got home from our Honeymoon, the disk with all of our pictures (over 1,000) was already delivered to our house in the states. I have friends that waited months for their pictures to come back; we waited 10 days!

If you're getting married in the Bahamas and Ben is available you need to book him. Just look at the pictures on his blog and you'll see how talented he is. You won't be disappointed.

When it came to my wedding, photography was probably the most important factor because those photos are one of the few things you will always have to remember such a big day. I couldn’t be happier to have worked with Ben. He was professional, very hard working, but also a really fun person to have around. Ben was wonderful because he wasn’t just there to snap photos, collect a check and leave. He had a personality where everyone felt comfortable around him (we’re not all supermodels who are used to getting pictures taken all the time). He was so professional in that he kept everyone moving efficiently in the short windows you have to take group photos. We have gotten many compliments on our photos from friends and even strangers on Pinterest! Our jeweler was absolutely thrilled with the photos he got of our wedding bands. He took a ton of photos, but he is so hard working and dedicated that we got our stunning photos within a week after the wedding. I’ve had friends who have had to wait months! I would definitely recommend Ben to any bride, I feel like I got way more than what I paid for hiring him. His photography skills are just stunning!

Ben was the best photographer we could have ever asked for. He made us feel relaxed and knew exactly what to do to and where to be to get the best photographs. They came out just beautifully. We not only used him for our wedding day, we also used him for our engagement photos and trash the dress. His pricing for everything was extremely competitive and the quality far surpasses the amount we paid. We were absolutely delighted with Ben and his talented work and have remained friends after. We HIGHLY recommend using him as your wedding photographer, his work is absolutely timeless!

Ben was there for every detail I wanted captured at my wedding and my welcome party! He made everyone feel comfortable and also did my dirty work for me- bossed everyone around and got all the pictures I wanted before the sun set! We hired Ben for our destination wedding in the Bahamas. Our shots came out stunning! Anytime I show anyone our pictures they say they look like they came straight out of a magazine. During the ceremony and reception I barley even noticed he was there but he still got beautiful pictures and he helped keep the order with my relatively wild bridal party during group shots. I would highly recommend Ben!

Ben was warm, friendly, funny and fabulous to work with. We really debated about hiring a professional based on cost, but are so glad we did. He was low key and flexible, making us feel entirely comfortable. His artistic eye, attention to detail, awareness of the surroundings, light, weather, etc., enabled us to have some amazingly beautiful keepsakes of our special day. I was looking for a photographer for my wedding in the Bahamas and Ben's website came up through an online search. It is a well designed, informative website, and I could see that his way of capturing that special day was what I was looking for. As I was planning my wedding from over-seas (Ireland), I found Ben to be very helpful by keeping in touch through email. We were able to meet up before the wedding date and Ben instantly put me at ease. He is very professional, considerate and a talented photographer. He captured our most important day in a wonderful way. Despite the inclement weather, our photos are beautiful and very unique.
As we left the Bahamas the day after the wedding, Ben was very thorough in getting our photos to us promptly. I would highly recommend Ben for your special day.

Although Ben was nice and professional the day of our wedding, my husband and I were not happy with how our photographs came out. Our wedding was not very large, and there were still a lot of moments that were missed. Most of the photos were taken from the same angle (going upwards) which is hardy flattering for many people. It seemed that we were always looking down and there wasn't any originality with the poses. He did not ask for us or advise us to give us ideas for what we wanted in terms of fun pictures until the week of the wedding! We sent him a few pictures of fun ideas, none of which were implemented anyway. We suggested one pose in the middle of the shoot which he did, and it was among our favorite photos. Thank goodness there were a lot of people taking pictures and videos informally, without them our photo album would have consisted of approximately 20 photos. I sort of wish we didn't pay for a professional photographer at all. Thousands of dollars for two dozen or so great photos... and we are both very easy going people!!
