Incredible experience, start to finish
I was thrilled to find out the ring I’d been dreaming of for years already existed at Ben Garelick (one of their original designs), but I was even more excited to find out it was surprisingly affordable and customizable. I reached out to ask about pricing and spoke with the owner himself, who really took the time to answer all my questions and provide upfront quotes. He never tried to upsell or pressure me and he offered to price-match the diamond, which saved me enough money to upgrade a full half carat and still come in under budget. Financing was a breeze and shipping was fast and secure. Buying from an individually owned and operated jewelry store instead of a big box retailer made all the difference in the world. I wasn’t treated like just a number on an invoice and I have peace of mind knowing they stand behind their work. This ring is a dream come true and I’ve enjoyed every step of the process with Ben Garelick. I can’t wait for my kids to fall in love so I can introduce them to Peter for their engagement rings! -

Beautiful custom creation!
I have always wanted an Art Deco ring, but had been unable to find what I was looking for. After seeing the positive reviews, I decided to hire Ben Garelick to create a perfect custom design for me. Peter was very professional, responsive, attentive, and just a pleasure to work with. He and his team were able to create a beautiful ring in the updated Art Deco style I was looking for: a round brilliant center diamond in a square double halo platinum setting. The work is excellent and the price extremely fair. Thank you! -

Peter provided honest transparent information. He was patient and insightful. He provided very clear and constant communication.
We live in Florida. After being misled and taken advantage of by a couple of jewelers, we had our hesitations about working with a jeweler in a different state. I’m so glad I stumbled upon Ben Garelick while searching the web! -

Engagement
My fiancé purchased my engagement ring from Ben Garelick in November of 2022. He received the engagement ring and wedding band in December of 2022.
The process of the design and purchasing this rings was extremely easy. He could have just purchased it right on the website but since he had a particular design in mind he wanted to consult with with a specialist. Peter Manka Jr. our consultant at Ben Garelick Jewelers was incredibly responsive to his numerous email inquiries, exhibited an impressive degree of resourcefulness with making such an important purchase online. They also gave him a realistic time frame from development to shipping right when they expected it to.
Buying an engagement ring remotely is a leap of faith, but I'm glad that he put trust into Peter Manka Jr. from the first step to the last.
As for the quality of my rings, I think the picture does it justice. The detail and quality of these rings are unmatched. I'm completely in love with them!

Top Notch…AGAIN
Peter and Peter Jr. did it again going above and beyond with professionalism, service, and quality. This is my second transaction with them. Bought our engagement ring, super impressed, came back for our wedding band, super impressed. Peter Jr went the extra mile and found my fiancé’s matching wedding band when I only gave him a generic picture of what we thought we wanted. Leave it to the professionals y’all! These people know what they’re doing, A++, highly recommend!!! -

Customized engagement rings
Peter and staff are incredible. Both my fiancé and I customized engagement rings for each other. We worked with Peter to get the specific design we wanted and he responded timely with a drawing of what it would look like, worked within our budget, and was very knowledgeable throughout the process! I definitely recommend them to anyone who is just looking or even those who do have an idea in mind. Everyone we worked with was friendly and very personable! We will definitely be back for future purchases. -

Pete Jr. is the very BEST!!!! He communicated with me so many times back & forth by email, phone & texting. So after at least a month of trying to find My Perfect Ring we were engaged on November 19th, 2019! We could not be happier with the quality of the ring & the customer service we received buying this ring! I am in Ohio and they are in New York, which is ironically where my fiance is from! Can't say enough about Ben Garelick Jewelers! I work in retail & customer service is EVERYTHING!!!!

I would go to Ben Garelick just to deal with Peter and his team over and over again if I had to (but I don't, because my Fiancee and I are over-the-moon about our engagement!) -

Ben Garelick - Best Quality & Customer Service
Both my engagement ring and my wedding band was purchased from Ben Garelick. We're not local and making an online purchase of this magnitude was unsettling. However, I had fallen in love with a Simon G ring that seemed to be exclusive to Ben Garelick. We took the risk and are so happy we did! They went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with our purchase and checked in with us after receiving the engagement ring to make sure it was perfect. They sent us an email when the matching wedding band went on sale and even though I missed the sale by a day, they gave me the code and made sure the order went through. Shipping was quick (about 2 - 3 weeks) considering they had to make the band. Oh and even though we ordered the engagement ring and the band separately, it looks like they came together since they fit the curves so well! The only think I would say is that the pictures definitely don't do these rings justice! I was so scared they would be dull since they're not very bright in the photos but they far exceeded my expectations. Peter and Patricia get an A++ from me! -

Great experience, great selection
I searched high and low for a unique engagement ring. Only at Ben Garelick was I able to find the one! Their selection was very unique and far superior to any of the many jewelers I had visited before finding them. The experience was beyond pleasant, not only were they extremely patient with me and endless email chains to narrow the search but when it came to the sale itself they were very fair and did so much to help me get my fiance the dream ring. So much so that I traveled 2+ hours each way to buy from them (and they even offered to ship for free to save me additional trips to pick it up/resizing). The pleasant experience also brought me back to get the matching wedding band from them. I can not say enough positive about buying from BG and their selection is tough to beat if you're looking for something unique that is going to blow your wife-to-be away. The ring draws a ton of attention and gets compliments all the time which is further patting on the back for a job well done to both myself and BG. I hope my review helps bring them more awareness so others can see the big expense of buying an engagement ring can be easy and even those on a budget can find a beautiful ring fitting of the woman who will wear it. I encourage everyone to look past the big chain stores and find BG, you will not regret the way you are treated here or the gorgeous ring you will bring home at a far better price than you'd find at a chain store. To address the men who may read this: If you're like me you get a lot of 'gee thanks' responses to birthday/anniversary... gifts. This is one purchase you DO NOT want a 'gee thanks.' Instead, I got tears, excitement, attacked like a wolverine (in a good way) and to this day she randomly stares at it, tells me it's gorgeous (better than all her friends, which believe me is important) and thanks me. Do yourself a favor, do it right, go let BG with their unique selection take care of you and redeem yourself for any and all past/future failed gifts. Thanks BG! -

We had such a wonderful experience. From the moment we walked into the store, we were treated like customers who mattered. Peter Sr. made the experience enjoyable, special, educational, and so comfortable. He was very conscious of budget and, not only did he not try to upsell, he showed us ways to get exactly what I wanted well within that budget. When it came time for my fiancé to order, he had some trouble getting to the store with his schedule but, between online ordering and a phone consultation with Peter Jr., he purchased a ring that I absolutely love. I cannot recommend this jeweler enough, and I am very much looking forward to a return visit for wedding bands.

We had to move our wedding date up sooner than expected and Peter was so kind to work with us and providing the Artcarved Corinne wedding band we needed without any hassle and on time. No detail was left out and we felt like we were they're number one customer throughout the whole experience. The quality of diamonds they have easily surpasses any other store in the area and the prices were amazingly reasonable! Had we gone to one of the chain jewelry stores the diamond would have been a lot smaller and not even half as brilliant for the same, or even slightly higher price. Peter Sr. was amazing! He never showed us rings out of our price range and let us take our time when choosing the right diamond! I highly recommend Ben Garelick and will be returning for our wedding bands, and any other jewelry we purchase in the future! -
