Simple and Easy to work with Jodi

It was a pleasure to work with Jodi at the Belvedere Banquet. She was amazing and made it very simple and easy at every step. I saw the prices and we talked about any changes along with the price for any changes. I got a packet that clearly stated what was included so I did not have to guess or question anything. We agreed on everything and I put down a small payment. Next payment could be spread out or in my case since the wedding was so close, I just paid in full. No extra fees were added on. Over the next few weeks, I had a few questions arise and she answered everything within the same day or next business day. My vendors were able to set up earlier than expected which was nice for them. I stayed next door at the hotel which was very convenient. They have doors that open between the hotel lobby and the banquet lobby. Plus a beautiful indoor lobby and outdoor courtyard for pictures. I loved the tall ceiling and the windows at my wedding. The food was amazing as well. I got many complements from my guests about the quality of the food. Many guests also enjoyed taking pictures in the lobby. Food was served at a timely manner. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

Excellent Service AND Gluten Free!

Karly was extremely helpful, welcoming, flexible and understanding when helping to plan our daughter's Bat Mitzvah party. We needed safe Gluten Free options for many of our guests, in addition to other dietary needs, and Karly and the chefs were very accommodating and patient with the menu and seating. They were VERY easy to work with, available to talk on the phone or in person, and went above and beyond to make sure our evening was perfect and special. Thank you to Karly and ALL the staff!

A Fairytale Day

The whole event was easy and stress free. From the staff to the food we could not have asked for better service. It was truly a magical day and we are still receiving compliments from our guests even after months later. Would definitely recommend for any event.

Couldn’t of been more perfect!!!! Everything we ever wanted!

My husband and I cannot say enough about Monika and her team at the Belvedere!! Our wedding went off without a hitch! The room was stunning and the food and drinks were amazing! Whenever I needed ANYTHING from Monika or has any questions at all- she was always a phone call or email away! I’m already thinking of what other celebrations we can have here in the future because our experience was so PERFECT!!! Thank you to Monika and her whole team for making our dreams come true!!

Belvidere Events and Banquets

Catherine was an amazing coordinator and reminded us about details we didn't even think about! We had a short engagement (5 months), so it was extremely helpful having someone to walk us through each step. There were minor hiccups, but Catherine worked with us to resolve them quickly. We had our dream wedding here! We had our ceremony in Suite I and our reception was in Suite III and IV. Our cocktail hour was in the lobby.

Best Night of Our Lives

We had our wedding at the Belvedere on 9/13/19 and we are beyond happy. We had Catherine as our coordinator and she was fantastic. She has a very welcoming presence and such an amazing personality. It was refreshing to work with her. Not only did she make sure we were clued in on every detail but she also got to know us on a personal level. We had visited a few other venues and the people we met with did not measure up to Catherine at all. The venue is beautiful itself but Catherine was the cherry on top.

We had the ceremony in Suite 2 and the reception in Suite 1. The Belvedere has high ceilings and large floor to ceiling windows which made for a beautiful backdrop. The decor is elegant and modern. For dinner we chose the duet (steak and chicken) and everyone loved the food, especially the soup (creamy potato). We also chose late night snacks (pizza and wings) and a dessert bar (ice cream and brownies).

Every aspect of the night was PERFECT, we could not have asked for a better night. The whole venue staff made sure we were all taken care of. I 100% recommend the Belvedere for any event. And if you can, definitely work with Catherine. She will make sure you have the night of your life.

Great from start to finish.

My daughter lives in Australia so I was in charge of planning her reception. We met Catherine Johnson upon walking in and couldn't be more pleased. Her professionalism and bubbly personality was very refreshing. Even up to the day before when I received a couple cancellations at the last minute she was calming to me.
As far as the venue goes, it's just beautiful and I received many compliments on the ambiance, service and food. I also received good words on Mike the bartender who was very attentive to the guests.
Great job to the entire staff for making our evening so special.

Beautiful venue and amazing food!

We just had our wedding this past weekend at the Belvedere and couldn't have been more pleased! Our venue coordinator Catherine Johnson was amazing and so helpful all the way till the day of the wedding! Catherine was always super responsive and was readily available whenever I had any questions or needed her the day of the wedding. The venue itself is beautiful and modern and we also wanted a place with a hotel nearby and this checked all the boxes! When we first walked into the room with the staircase at our initial appointment, we immediately fell in love! And most importantly, the food is amazing here which was the one of the most important things for us! We decided on doing the action station menu and everyone absolutely raved about the food, saying it was probably one of the best wedding meals they've had thus far! The guests could not stop talking about how great everything turned out and how great of a place we picked! The venue is one of the most important pieces of a wedding and we're so happy we decided on the Belvedere!

Absolutely Perfect!

Where do I begin! When my husband and I went to visit Belvedere as a choice for our wedding, we knew it was the best place right after we left our meeting. We were married on April 06, 2019. We initially started working with another coordinator, but later worked with Joanna. From the minute Joanna started helping us, we were so confident everything would be perfect, and it was! Joanna is so patient and knowledgeable. She answered all our questions and is the nicest person. You will be so lucky if you work with her! Not only was Joanna fantastic, but the Manager Doro was equally as amazing. He always made sure everything was exactly as we wanted, and he made sure our parents were happy with everything as well. We heard nothing but wonderful things about how great the two of them were while we were busy with other things and we couldn’t agree more.
Belvedere is not only a beautiful venue, but the food was fantastic as well and turned out exactly as it did for our tasting. Everyone told us how much they enjoyed the food and how much fun they had. We are so happy we chose Belvedere for our ceremony and reception. We booked two different rooms and the transition was great. Everything from start to finish was perfect, our pictures were lovely, and we couldn’t be happier with our decision. I would highly recommend!

Absolutely wonderful, everything was handlers in a timely matter and everyone was very polite!!

My wedding was on January 4, 2019 and it was myself and husband’s best day of our lives yet! From the Ceremomy to switching it up to the reception the amount of work and effort that went into it, it really meant a lot to us. You could still tell that they took their time with every little detail. The food was absolutely amazing and turned out just like from when we did our tasting, and that really meant a lot to us to know that the cook took his time and preparing all of those meals for everyone. The soup was the biggest hit out of everything, people have never had that soup and we’re asking for more! Again we could not have been happier with belvedere banquets for giving us a day to remember forever!

Our New Year’s Eve wedding was a blast!

Our New Year’s Eve wedding was amazing! I can’t say enough about the venue, food, service and most of all our wedding coordinator Catherine Johnson for putting everything together and making sure our day was perfect.

We loved the venue so much. It was chic, beautiful and decorated exactly how I pictured it! We had a Blackhawks themed wedding with casino gaming thrown in. Catherine kept all our vendors on task and ran the day flawlessly. I cried when she opened the doors and I got a glimpse of our tables for the first time. The linens were stunning! Black, red and white accents made the room for both our ceremony and reception classy and fun. .

The lobby area where we held part of our cocktail hour was gorgeous. The lighting, candles and fountain made a wonderful backdrop for wedding pictures and candids for our guests. We also loved the appetizers. The deviled eggs got 5 stars from everyone.

The food and bar service was impeccable. We heard nothing but amazing things about both. Especially the soup! People raved about it all night long. The entrees were also 5 star with our favorite being the roasted pork.

The bridal suite was perfect. We loved the small touches of champagne and appetizers that were left for us. They were delicious! And it was nice to have a place to disappear when we needed it also.

Most of all I want to compliment Catherine Johnson for making sure every detail was covered. She made me feel like the only bride getting married there! I felt special, taken care of and I knew she would handle everything. She worked with all our vendors (we had a lot going on!) from the casino guys, photographers, DJ. She made sure everyone was where they were supposed to be and she was truly the key to everything going off without a hitch! She even stayed late the night of our rehearsal / dinner to insure I was confident in our ceremony.

I would recommend Belvedere Banquets to everyone who wants to have their wedding/ party there. Great staff and service!

Beautiful venue, amazing food, great staff!

AMAZING!! My husband and I are so happy to have hosted our New Year's Eve wedding reception at the Belvedere. It was absolutely perfect! I have truly enjoyed working with all of the staff at the Belvedere. From our first meeting to the day of the wedding, Catherine and the rest of the staff went above and beyond for us. They were excellent handling our last minute changes, and a joy to work with. Catherine was very quick with answering any questions we had, she made excellent recommendations, and provided honest feedback in what would help our day run smoothly. Besides the staff, the venue itself is truly beautiful. Every guest was blown away by the lobby area where the first part of cocktail hour was hosted. The gorgeous fountain and decor provided some unique backdrops for our wedding photographer as well. The reception area decor is neutral colored, which we loved, because we could transform it with uplighting and decorations very easily to create the NYE atmosphere that we wanted. We rented the fire pit and heat lamps for the patio and that was a huge hit for many people cooling down outside. The catering was delicious!! We received so much amazing feedback about how good every course of the meal was; and the appetizers were to die for - my personal favorite being the cheeseburger slider on a waffle fry!!

We 100% would recommend the Belvedere to any engaged couple planning their wedding day!

A Dream Come True

We did several tours prior to touring the Belvedere. We were not expecting much going in, but the moment we walked into the room, I knew. The whole entire place is so elegant and we got so many compliments how beautiful the venue was. We felt confident with the decision as the woman who toured with us went over every detail. A few months down the road we got an email stating she was no longer with the company and Lorna would be taking over, initially we were nervous but we connected with her right away. Right away she took care of us and made sure everything we needed to understand was clear to us. Throughout the entire process she communicated with us and even went out of her way to accommodate our schedule since my husband and I work weird hours. She was extremely helpful with the millions of emails I sent her way with every small question that popped into my head in the middle of the night.

Although Lorna wasn’t there for our reception, we were assigned another event coordinator named Taylor. I don’t even know enough adjectives to properly talk up and describe how awesome Taylor was. When we arrived for the cocktail hour the lobby was completely slammed with people. She offered to let everyone into our rooms early to make sure it was a great experience for the guests. She also asked me multiple times throughout the night if my husband needed a drink (which she delivered on multiple times).

The food was delicious. I cannot count how many times people said that the soup was some of the best they have ever had in their lives. So if you really enjoy chicken soup, make sure you choose that. The chicken we ordered wasn’t dry either. The salad was phenomenal and everything came out hot.

From the food to the staff, we rank this place 5/5! If you are looking for a venue that notices and cares about not only the major components of a reception, but also the little things that end up making the day even more special, this is the place for you!

My husband and I had our ceremony and reception here on New Year's Eve! 12/31/2017 everything was perfect! The decor at the Belvedere is so elegant from the minute you step through the door! Candles lite, water falls flowing! A complete gorgeous look that fit right in with our taste! Lorna was our coordinator and she was extremely responsive to all our questions and helped in making our vision come to life! The day of service was awesome, the drinks kept flowing, and the food was exceptional! I'm still hearing today compliments on the food from the hors d'oeuvres to the main stations, to the desserts!! We requested a complete gluten free menu and belvedere made it happen! We chose stations instead of a plated meal and the presentation was awesome!! We decided on small pastries instead of a cake (along with cupcakes and a candy station) to make it all pick up and eat food. People keep asking about them, and couldn't say enough about the delicious sweets offered! Never ran out of food! The flow was smooth and we have heard nothing but raving compliments about the whole night! We chose late night pizza that Belvedere provided, they served it at the right time and it was gobbled up! Thank you belvedere for making "our best day ever" the best day ever!!

I have been told The Belvedere's quality of service is over the top, the professional sales staff has many years in the wedding sales industry. Belvedere responds to all of your last minute needs, wants and request. The Belvedere lobby fountain bar area is the perfect space to greet and meet your guest when they arrive. The courtyard is lovely cocktail area during warm summer evenings or a great space for cognac and a cigar around the fire pit!

We loved everything about this venue! Cathy was so accommodating and flexible! We had a large wedding so we had our wedding in suites one and two and having the patio was a wonderful addition. The food was delicious and all of our allergy concerns were met. Every dish that needed to be gluten free was accommodated as well! The service was great and everyone there was so flexible with letting us come in a day early to set up since there wasn't an event being held in that room prior to our wedding. We still have family and friends talking about how beautiful and modern the Belvedere was and how big the portions of food were!

My husband and I chose to use Belvedere Events & Banquets for our wedding reception and it was truly such a great decision! Originally I didn't want to use a banquet hall, but once I saw the Belvedere I knew it was a great choice, because of the beautiful venue, amazing food and reasonable price tag. We picked the biggest suite, Suite 1, which has beautiful windows and a terrace your guests can use. We worked with Orla, who was such a pleasure to work with and such a big help. I must have emailed her at least 100 times, but she never minded and always answered my questions. The food on the day of the wedding was even better than the tasting we had, and everyone raved about it! The chef was able to accommodate gluten free and dairy free restrictions for some of our guests, which was greatly appreciated. We had two bakeries to choose from because a basic cake package was included. Orla ended up throwing in a complimentary back drop draping and lighting behind our head table, which I was so happy about because I had wanted it anyway but wasn't going to do because I was trying to save money, and it looked absolutely GORGEOUS. We also got the draping and lighting above the dance floor and along the staircase, which were both beautiful as well. The service was great and all of our guests said how wonderful the wedding reception was. Orla checked in on my husband and I a few times to make sure everything was going well, which was very appreciated. Our bridal party had a private suite that connected to the room, which was great for a bathroom break or just getting a breather, as well as, putting our gifts in a safe place. We also were given a complimentary bridal suite at the Country Inn & suites that is connected to the Belvedere.

We were both so happy with how everything turned out and would recommend the Belvedere to any couple looking for a great place for their wedding reception with amazing food, service and ambiance, as well as a reasonable price!

My husband and I are so happy we chose the Belvedere for our wedding reception! We did a little shopping around, but as soon as we walked in, we immediately preferred this location to others. First, there business IS receptions. They don't have another restaurant inside the venue to take care of. Their focus is solely on you. The food was superb, the basic bar package was the premium bar package at other locations, and they were very detail-oriented. Our coordinator Orla was just amazing and made our special day perfect. Highly recommend!

Orla at the Belvedere went above and beyond to make our reception perfect. The entire process from beginning to end was enjoyable as she was able to tailor the event to what we liked. Anything we needed and questions we had along the way were answered quickly. Service was excellent the day off and all our guests had a great time! We couldn't have had a better experience than we did with the Belvedere.

Highly recommend the Belvedere! Caroline was my wedding coordinator. She was very responsive to all my emails. She met with me several times to go over the details. If I asked to change anything, she would make the changes and send me a new contract immediately. The venue is also gorgeous inside. We had some of our pictures taken there before the wedding because we loved the way it looks.

My tasting was scheduled for 11/29/14 and I was definitely impressed with the food. My family & I was totally satisfied with everything on 1/3/15. The food was exceptional. The venue is definitely beautiful. Everybody is still complimenting the venue & food. I served sun dried tomato salmon & veloute chicken breast. I'm definitely pleased with Belvedere and I would certainly recommend this venue.

The staff at the Belvedere did an outstanding job of accommodating our many guests with food allergies and intolerances. Everything was set up just as we had asked. The Reception turned out beautifully! We are still getting positive comments from guests. I would highly recommend the Belvedere!!

We absolutely loved everything about our wedding day at Belvedere Events and Banquets. Lorna was our event coordinator and she made sure every request we had was met and that everything ran smoothly the day of. It was beyond our expectations. We got compliments on every little detail from the decor and beautiful staircases, to the food (especially the roasted salmon) and the service of the staff. Friends said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. It was truly a dream come true!

Me and my husband booked the belvedere for our wedding this past weekend and before we did I obviously read all reviews and ultimately we decided to check it out. I have to say, it was so elegant and modern , I fell in love with the place. My coordinator was Orla , she was so friendly, and accommodating , and oh so professional. She really knows what she's doing!!! As a matter of fact every single staff member was so attentive and happy. The food was outstanding, everyone kept complimenting us. We had the turkey medallions with the creamy potato tart ( OMG!!! ) They set up so beautifully , it was truly our dream wedding. We are so glad we booked at the belvedere , it was worth every penny . I highly recommend this place ,it won't disappoint!!!

We loved working with Orla and her team! They worked with us and were very accommodating. We were only in town one weekend, and they were able to fit us in for our tasting that weekend, (we planned our wedding in Illinois while living in Texas). The food was wonderful the day of the event. We also had the dessert table, and our guests raved about all of the food and the desserts! Our guests loved the entire setup of this venue! It is wonderful the way it is connected to the hotel, so no one has to drive. There is also a sports bar next door to the hotel, so again, you can go out after the wedding and no one has to drive. Everyone is able to thoroughly enjoy themselves! There is even a pool in the hotel next door, so some of our guests had their older children stay at the hotel while they celebrated with us at the wedding! It was a wonderful evening! Orla was the best! She checked on us and our parents all evening to make sure we had everything we needed. She made sure our guests with special meal restrictions were well cared for and that we knew they were taken care of too. I would absolutely recommend this venue to anyone! Our friends and family raved about it!

The wedding reception was outstanding - from the beautiful Belvedere decor, to all the pre-planning discussions, through the excellent, tasty, gourmet appetizers and entire meal, to the beautiful, yummy cake and gelato.

The guidance provided by the wedding coordinator throughout the entire planning process gave us confidence that the day would turn out as special as we all had hoped. Everyone on the Belvedere staff that I talked to was professional, pleasant and helpful.

Compliments to the chef on outstanding, deliciously prepared food! I can't even tell you how many guests came up to us that evening raving about the food. They loved the appetizers. They loved the soup. They LOVED the filet preparation. They loved the potatoes. They loved the vegetables. They kept saying they couldn't BELIEVE the meal they were served. It was obvious to us that most receptions people have attended in the past have NEVER matched the high standards of The Belvedere's. My girlfriend told me that her one regret was that she didn't have a baggy in her purse so she could take the remainder of her steak home. Ha ha! We are extremely grateful that The Belvedere is so accommodating about cooking food to guests' preferences. My cousin had a vegetarian meal and she simply raved about it. She told me that it's been her experience that large venues cannot offer a delicious vegetarian meal, however, she's completely impressed with the food she experienced at The Belvedere. Everyone's food was piping hot when served. To me, that's amazing for the number of guests served.

Compliments to the wait staff. Everyone was courteous, prompt, inconspicuous, efficient, helpful and just totally nice. They were all very helpful at the end of the evening when we were all packing things up to leave.

Compliments to the bartenders. Our daughter and son-in-law wanted a reception venue with a large bar area. The bartenders were professional, courteous, and fast.

Our wedding was absolutely perfect thanks to Caroline! The amount of compliments we have gotten on service, the food and the decor of the venue are endless and I couldn't agree more! I felt like people were able to enjoy themselves longer on the dance floor due to the service being so efficient! Dinner wasn't hours long which we loved! We couldn't have chosen a better a venue! The servers were so personable and they even laughed with us and made jokes! We felt so comfortable there from the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out the day after our wedding! Thank you again for making our special day so amazing! We couldn't have done it with you!!

We recently held our annual company party at Belvedere Banquets and everything was absolutely fantastic! The staff was very pleasant and accommodating and our bartender Mike was awesome. He was very friendly and remembered your drink! On top of the great service, the food was incredible. I have been to several events there and have always had a good experience. I would highly recommend Belvedere Banquets.

Great food, beautiful atmosphere and very friendly staff. Wedding was great and our guests raved about the Prime Rib!!! Very flexible with last minute changes we didn't anticipate... I highly reccomend them.

We worked with Lorna and everything went very smoothly over the year of planning. She is very easy going and helped me with tough decisions. The night of the wedding she was there to get everyone in order and helped whenever anyone was confused with where to go or what to do. We were able to get a room for the reception that we never dreamed we could get and it all turned out beautiful. There was some miscommunication on our end regarding who would be cleaning up everything at the end of the night and one of the amazing people there helped pack everything up without any complaint.

The venue is gorgeous and so many people commented that they just expected a normal banquet hall but were pleasantly surprised at how gorgeous the space is all on its own.
The food was great (especially the tomato soup).

From beginning to end Lorna and everyone there made the process very smooth especially for someone who had no idea how to even start planning a wedding!

We had our weddiing 9/1/12 (I know im a little late on this review, better late than never)
The belvedere provided excellent service for my wedding. My coordinator was Carolyn and she was very attentive, she responded right away to every phone call and email. We were not her easiest clients and made some unbelievable requests and she make them all happen! The entire staff went above and beyond on my special day (like the security guard who helped me pin my ripped dress at the end of the night or the bartender who made me a special drink after the bar closed just because I hadnt had one yet). All of our guests were having such an amazing time we decided to extend the party an hour last minute with no problem. The food was excellent and our guest still complement us on the food and sweet table.

We hired Belvedere Banquets for our wedding Friday, September 6th. The first time we walked into the venue we were sold! We had a great pricing for the event. Our wedding coordinator was Orla. Orla was awesome!!!! She was such an awesome wedding coordinator to work with. She was very attentive to our needs. SHe was flexible in our meetings with one another. I communicated with Orla via email. SHe responded to my emails in such a short period of time. Our wedding was beautiful and perfect! Thank you to the Belvedere staff for providing such an amazing wedding day/night. All of our guests had a wonderful time! Orla, you rock! Kevin and I were very happy with the outcome!!!

My husband and I had our wedding here on August 10, 2013 and throughout our whole planning process we worked with Lorna. Let me say this... Lorna was a lifesaver and the most amazing person to work with! She was so helpful, responsive, timely, knowledgeable, patient, easy going and most importantly understanding. Without Lorna and all of her help, our dream day would not have turned out quite like it did. All of our guests from our wedding are still raving about everything, especially the food and the venue itself. We could not be happier with how everything turned out all thanks to Lorna. Anyone who ever needs a fabulous hall and consultant, go to Belvedere and ask for Lorna... we promise you she will not disappoint!

I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this place...they gave me my dream wedding and more! Jodi was extremely helpful and knowledgable. I would recommend The Belvedere to everyone. It has been 3years since my wedding and I still have people telling me how amazing the lobster bisque soup was. This place is worth every penny!

The Belvedere was the first venue I saw and immedialty knew it would be the one I chose. The lobby is so modern and very appealing. The rooms are big and the bars are huge. I worked with Caroline and she followed up with us regularly and was very helpful with recommendations. She was willing to work with us on little details and the night of the wedding everything was just perfect! Every guest commented on how beautiful the atmosphere was and how great the food was! I had my reception on a Friday and it was very reasonably priced! I will and so recommend the Belvedere to everyone!

I can not begin to express how amazing and wonderful our wedding reception was. The staff at the Belvedere went above and beyond our expectations and we couldn't have asked for a better place. Everything was set up and was executed perfectly. The food was AMAZING!!!! Everything that they did was outstanding. Anything I wanted they had done and with no questions.

Caroline was by far the most amazing person and I can not thank her enough for making our day perfect. I cant wait to tell all of my friends and family about the Belvedere.

I hope to be able to have other events/parties at the Belvedere and with Caroline.

The Belvedere was wonderful. A great value for what you get. The entire staff was very professional and very helpful. The foyer area is beautiful. There is a bridal suite located above the foyer area where the bridal party could go to relax, prep, clean-up etc. They had a staircase leading down from the suite into the reception hall which my wife absolutely loved. The set-up of the room was fantastic. All of the guest raved about the food and the overall set up of the reception hall. Overall, we were very very happy with the Belvedere and would recommend any and all friends and family to have a reception there.

Orla was our wedding coordinator and she was awesome! She helped us so much and gave us so many great ideas. We couldnt be happier with the service we received all around at Belvedere. The entire staff was so attentive and nice. We honestly had the best wedding here. I would recommend it to anyone, not only is it a beautiful place to get married but its very unique. About a year and a half ago I began looking at wedding venues. I knew of The Belvedere located in Elk Grove Village so I decided to go on their website. Instantly, I fell in love with the venue and I didn’t want to look anywhere else. I’m the type of person that knows what I want when I see it. Dave and I made an appointment to speak with an event coordinator, and I brought my Mom along as well because she knows all the right questions to ask. Our meeting went very well and I knew there would be no other place to look at. Dave wanted to check out a few more places to compare prices but, he soon realized my heart was set on The Belvedere and shortly after our visit, we signed a contract. We had two rooms, draping on the entire wall behind our sweetheart table, special linens (to match my color scheme), and chair covers with sash bows. I wanted a very classy and elegant wedding from my invitations down to the tables at my reception. During the planning process, I was in contact with my event coordinator, Cathy and she would update and make any necessary changes to our contract. She always answered my questions and helped me along the way, and wanted to make my day everything I wanted and more! When we went for our tasting, I was thoroughly impressed with the food, and couldn’t wait for the wedding date to get closer. We decided to have our ceremony here as well to make it easier on us and our guests; everything in one location was the best decision. The Belvedere was very accommodating to us, especially right before the wedding. The day of the wedding (before the ceremony) my girls and I took pictures in the beautiful lobby of The Belvedere as did the groom and his guys. The ceremony was beautiful with the stage, draping, candelabras, and lighting. Before cocktail hour my girls and I went into my bridal suite and we were greeted with Moscato, Champagne, and the three appetizers I chose for cocktail hour. I took the opportunity to go into my two rooms to see the set up of my tables and it took my breath away. My tables were gorgeous with the apple green linens and shimmer sheer overlays I chose, as were my ivory chair covers with the matching sashes of my table linens. My menus I made were wrapped into each napkin and the favors were laid out. When I went out to join cocktail hour, everyone seemed quite delighted and couldn’t get enough of the appetizers. Once the reception began, everything ran so smoothly. Dave and I enjoyed our sweetheart table and had the best vantage point. The dinner service was top notch. The courses came out perfectly; nobody had to wait a long time between courses or to be served in general. The food was hot and delectable, and the serves were right there when you needed them. Throughout the entire evening everyone complimented our dinner and venue. I had people tell me I’ve never had such a delicious meal at a wedding. All the little extras we had added to the ambiance of the night. The night was absolutely perfect and we could not have chosen a better venue and I’m glad I stuck to my gut. I’m so thankful to the entire staff of The Belvedere for making my night so magical; it truly was everything I wanted and more! If you’re looking for a venue that will make your night memorable beyond words then I HIGHLY recommend The Belvedere. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn’t change a single thing!

Our ceremony & reception at the Belvedere was perfect. Jodi was our coordinator from day one and patiently answered all of our questions. Our wedding day went so smoothly that my husband and I were able to be guests at our own wedding. All of our guests loved the food, the bar selection, and that everything was all in the same place. We are so happy we selected the Belvedere for our ceremony and reception. We had the perfect day and wouldn't change anything.

Belvedere puts on a wonderful wedding! I received so many compliments on how beautiful my wedding was and many complements on the food! We had no issues with this venue! I had Lorna as a consultant, she was very professional and dealt with my consistent mind changing hehe. She did a wonderful job helping me out and everything came out great.

I used Belvedere Events & Banquets for our New Years Eve wedding. I began working with Caroline back in May when we were engaged & began the planning stages. I visited the venue and immediately fell in love with the whole feel & ambiance - it is very modern, clean and just absolutely lovely.

I planned our wedding from Washington DC so all of my correspondence with Caroline and the Belvedere was via email. She was always responsive to all requests, flexible & very easy to work with. I'm glad I can say it, because planning the wedding from far away was EASY with her!

The day before the wedding we took all of our reception items in, I explained how I would like everything to Caroline in about five minutes & went on the way. The evening of our reception, I was highly anticipating seeing our room and when I walked in, all I can say is it took my breath away, literally.

Absolutely what I imagined it would look like, it did, only better! From the table decor, head table set up, room staging & beyond, it was fantastic. The food was terrific, the staff superb, the lighting perfect, the white winter wonderland theme I dreamed up was executed PERFECTLY! I do have to give credit to Yanni Design Studio, who displayed our drapery and light background, which looked stunning with the whole theme.

There are not enough adjectives to describe the Belvedere, even their entrance foyer is beyond gorgeous, the Christmas decor was tasteful & lovely. I give this venue an A++ and would highly, highly recommend working with them for your wedding. In fact, we were already discussing having our 25th anniversary there :-) THANK YOU to the wonderful staff of the Belvedere, our wedding reception was perfection!

Belvedere was perfect!! I fell in love with it first on-line and knew it was the place for our reception the minute we stepped foot inside. The place is beautiful with so many modern accents. They are so accomodating and work with you through all your questions and concerns. We worked with Caroline and she was wonderful. She answered all our questions and gave us so many suggestions that were extremely helpful. Our wedding day was beautiful and everyone was in awe with our room! Belvedere did an amazing job setting up everything and making our day so special. The food is fantastic! I lost count on how many people came up to us and told us this was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. The service is amazing and everything is so eloquent and professional. I would suggest Belvedere to every bride! Thank you Belvedere for helping us to have such a beautiful and special day!

Orla was my contact person and she was very helpful and accomodating. The Belvedere staff were all very courteous and professional. It is a beautiful location and I would reccommend them to all my family and friends.

Do you know how you have a vision in your head? That is definitely me, once I walked in Belvedere Banquets I was like this is the place! We were pleased with the process from start to finish. Jodi and Orla made my day very special. The day of rehearsal we had rain and sleet and of course that made EVERYONE late but Orla was very patient and we were able to finish everything. I loved my ceremony and reception room, it was more than I ever would have expected. I would definitely recommend Belvedere Banquets to any of my clients!

Belvedere was great. We had our ceremony and reception there in July. Christina helped us sooo much! She has tons of creative ideas, cost cutting solutions, and patience for bridezillas like me! :-) The food and service was wonderful, the bathrooms were spotless, there was tons of parking, and the seperate entrances were a real plus! (We never saw or heard the other wedding) Also, they're prices are significantly less than their competition AND include more! Only two downsides are: 1) We booked in Sept 2009 and they only had like 5 dates available for 2010 and all Saturdays were booked until 2011.
2) The other sales women (unsure of her name, a little older/red headed) was very hard to work with. I felt like she couldn't answer my questions and it became very irritating. After speaking with her twice, I decided to ONLY meet with Christina from that point forward.
Overall, I would definitely recommend Belvedere to everyone!

My husband and I were completely satisfied with Belvedere Banquets. First of all, we received a 20% discount for having our reception in November. The wedding coordinators at Belvedere were extremely helpful and had answers to all of our questions. The meal at the reception was amazing. From the soup, to the salad, to the cake (which was included in the price). Everyone is still raving about the meal. The service during dinner was quick and the bar was well stocked. Also, the room we had our reception in was beautiful with a long staircase and huge picturesque windows. Overall, we were very satisfied.

We worked with Jodi and she was willing to answer all our questions and go through all the details whenever we had any questions which were a lot regarding our ceremony and the reception. Everyone that came to the ceremony and the reception loved the location and thought the place was beautiful and couldn't believe how wonderful the food was. We got so many compliments and wouldn't have changed the location for either the ceremony or reception. We new as soon as we saw the location that it was the place for our wedding day. Thank you

Everybody is still taking about how great the food was... even the foodies! I did the stations.. with the pasta and a meat! Everybody swarmed the pasta because they could pick how they wanted it made... to funny! Package also come with cake from Rolf's.. who makes cakes for Whole Foods!

All the planners were extra helpful and gave us great suggestions about the event and tips on crowd pleasing gestures. The hall is naturally beautiful so minimal added decorations! Stacie, Orla, and Caroline are fantastic!!!

I had my wedding at the Belvedere it was perfect. Jodi was my event coordinator she was amazing, she was ontop of everything. My wedding could not have been more perfect. It has been 2 years and our guests still tell my parents what an amazing wedding we had and how great the food was. The food was delicious, the service was great. I highly recommend the Belvedere for your special day you will be sure to have an amazing wedding. I loved it so much we went back for our Baby Shower this past June and it was amazing.

I worked with Orla at the Belvedere and she was great. The food was excellent we had the beef wellington for dinner and it was cooked perfect with the asiago potato tart and asparagus and carrots. I received so many compliments on the food the setting was beautiful. I also had a dessert table that had a large assortment of delicious treats. If I ever have a party again I will definately go there it made my wedding everything I wanted it to be.

I loved this place. It is great that there is a really nice hotel connected to the building. We also ended up with a better room because no one else booked that day. The interior is amazing. Perfect backdrop for pics.

My husband and I were married on April 4, 2009 and chose Belvedere for our reception venue. I can whole-heartedly say that not only was it the best day of my life, but that my room was the most beautiful I had ever seen for a wedding reception. Orla was our wedding coordinator and from the day we booked with her all the way through the reception she was extremely helpful and attentive to our every desire and detail. When I walked in the room before the reception started I think my heart skipped a beat and tears filled my eyes. The room was gorgeous. It was everything I could have ever dreamed it would be! I can't say enough good things about how wonderful Orla treated not only my groom and I, but my family as well. The food was amazing, the service was friendly, timely, and top-notch, and the drinks were plentiful. As for the food, MANY people have told us it was the best food they ever had at a wedding. Every time we needed something, Orla or another staff member was there to assist and on the flip side nobody was ever "bothering" us or pulling us away from our party. Every bride and groom should feel the way we did on our wedding night! A+ Belvedere.... a job VERY well done!

I recently held my reception at the Belvedere in Elk Grove and it was truly the most amazing experience of my life! Jodi was my event coordinator and she helped me with every single thing I needed. Their level of service was above and beyond any other venue I've been to! Even downtown! I would recommend Belvedere to anyone who wants to have a dream wedding and have no worries on their wedding day!!!

This reception site was perfect for our wedding. The coordinator I worked with at the Belvedere was welcoming to my constant questions, was able to incorporate ideas that I had (such as a specialty "blue" drink for all of our guests that tied in with the wedding colors), and went above and beyond our expectations. My mom and I had loved the way the main ballroom was decorated for a wedding before mine with tulle and twinkling lights hanging from the ceiling and draped around the railings, but we didn't think we'd be able to afford to have both of them with the budget we planned on. We decided to only do the railings, and I was thrilled when I walked into the ballroom on our wedding night to find that our coordinator had also had the tulle and lights hung from the ceiling as a surprise/wedding gift to us. Our food was amazing, the staff was accommodating and polite, and everything was perfect. I highly recommend Belvedere Banquets

Belvedere has the best food I've ever had at a wedding. My cousin had her bridal shower there, & when my husband & I started looking for a venue for our wedding, we knew we wanted to at least try to get a tasting there. Given how beautiful the hall is, we assumed there was no way we would be able to afford to have our wedding there, but it doesn't hurt to look. We were surprised to find that they were actually one of the most reasonably priced places in the area. Jodi was who we officially dealt with, but at one point or another every person working at the Belvedere helped us in some way. They were all incredibly accommodating, not only with their services, but also with advice. If I had it all to do over again, I wouldn't change a thing.

The Belvedere was FANTASTIC to work with!!! Orla was our wedding coordinator and was always quick to respond to any questions I had. She was also more than willing to accommodate any special requests (adding specific beer to the bar package, last minute additions of a sweet table). If there is anything that you want make sure to ask. From my experience it appears that they will do whatever they can to make it happen.

The food was GREAT! I received many compliments about how great the food was. And the venue itself is beautiful. I'm so happy with my choice!! I've received many many compliments about how beautiful it was.

The only reason I marked lower on professionalism was because of a last minute change. Through out the whole process Orla was our coordiantor. And Belvedere's policy is that your coordinator sees your event through the end (ie is there the day of). Orla happened to be a bridesmaid in a wedding the day of my own. She informed me about 2 weeks before my wedding. I was disappointed that she hadn't let me know sooner. But she introduced me to Jodi who was there the night of my wedding and would be available if I needed anything. Of course everything went off without a hitch so I didn't need to see her that night :)

If you choose The Belvedere they are contracted with 3 different bakeries, you choose. Make sure to pick The Baking Institute. I got more compliments on my cake than anything else. So many people told me it was the best wedding cake they ever had.

Wow! This venue is amazing... my husband and I were glad we picked this place to host our wedding ceremony and reception. At the time of planning the wedding, I was in Canada, and had to send my husband to do most of the running around for the wedding. When he told me he chose Belvedere, we immediately had contact with our new wedding coordinator Orla, who was amazing. We couldn't have had the wedding go as smooth as it did without her. Even though I wasn't in the country and had to plan the wedding in 30 days, Orla was quick to respond through emails, phone calls, it was as if she never left her office! She was always trying to see if there was a way to make things easier for the bride.

On the day of the wedding, she was there throughout the whole process (even rehearsal the day before), helping my wedding party and I feel calm and keeping us on track. There was another man named Doro (I think) who was awesome and very helpful. My family kept commenting on how kind Orla and the staff were, and how good the food at the reception was!

My husband and I also had a reserved suite for the night of the wedding at the hotel beside the venue, which was also one of the perks of us booking our wedding package with Belvedere.

So I'll say, brides, book with this venue, the venue itself if beautiful (we didn't need much decoration because of it!) and I'm sure all of the wedding coordinators there are amazing, but if you can ask for Orla, ask for her!! She is awesome.

From the initial tour of the facility to the day of our wedding, Jodi from The Belvedere was extremely helpful and friendly. She was willing to work with us to make our wedding the most memorable day of our lives. The facility is absolutely beautiful and The Belvedere was extremely attentive to our needs the entire night. Our wedding was perfect. Our only suggestion would be to ask The Belvedere to put extra food and cake in their refrigerator for the night so you can pick it up the next day. Our food went bad because the tray they put it in didn't fit in our tiny hotel room fridge.

Extremely pleased! We selected Belvedere because of the extremely beautiful and elegant decor. None of the outdated gold gilded mirrors, floral carpets, or tacky "crystal" chandeliers here!!!! Sleek, modern, yet comfortably elegant!

We booked our wedding about 11 months in advance, on a Sunday and got one heck of a discount!!!! There is a hotel next door which was WONDERFUL! never had to even go outside, as a hallway adjoins the hotel and banquet hall.

They are all extremely friendly and SO accomodating! I was at the hall looking at things and asking questions several times throughout the planning process, and never once did any of them seem bothered by my presence.

Our co-ordinator was hard to get a hold of, and was seldom aorund when I had questions, but the other ladies there were always able to access my information and help me with everything I needed!

From the moment that we walked into Belvedere we knew that we were going to get married there. We worked with Caroline and she went above and beyond to make sure that we got everything that we wanted and more. From booking our wedding to the tasting to the day of the wedding and all those question filled days in between everyone was professional and helpful till the very end. I loved the venue so much that I recommended the venue to my friend and she is actually getting married there this summer. Needless to say I can't wait to go back there for another celebration.

We had our wedding at The Belvedere in Elk Grove this past January and had 200 guests attend. We were EXTREMELY satisfied with how our wedding went. The staff was professional, helpful, super friendly, and prompt. The food was delicious! The décor turned our EXACTLY how I dreamed it would. The venue itself is beautiful, and with some small upgrades looks personalized but not over the top. (one upgrade I thought was WAY overpriced, but once I saw it realized it was SO totally worth it- was the draping we had hung behind the head table. It was gorgeous and completed the entire event) The bridal suit was nice and big, bathrooms were clean, it truly was perfect from the entry/lobby to each venue room. Another great things this venue has to offer is the fountain for pictures in the lobby, beautiful staircases, a room with a fire place, and gorgeous built in bars- SO many great places for pictures! I had both my ceremony and reception here, which was awesome. Guests didn't need to travel in between, and there is a hotel that is attached! It is off to the side so it doesn't feel tacky or as if you are in a hotel for the wedding, but it is extremely convenient. We are SO happy we decided to have out special day at The Belvedere. We had been to 6 weddings within the past year and looked at over 10 different venues- The Belvedere was by far our favorite, and very affordable too. All of our family and friends were amazed at how beautiful our wedding was, from start to finish. Everyone enjoyed themselves. Everyone kept telling me that something would go wrong and to try to let it go on the big day...so I tried to prepare myself for that.... not a single thing went wrong. Literally, everything was on time, set up perfectly, fun, great quality... I cant say enough great things about the Belvedere.

We had both our ceremony and wedding at the Belvedere in Elk Grove - they both were wonderful! The venue is absolutely stunning and we had so many compliments from our guests! The food was great (though I didn't really eat that night) - again many of our guests had positive things to say about the menu. We worked with Jodi and she was very accommodating and easy to work with. The only complaint that I heard was there should be a bathroom on each side of the venue. There was our wedding (200+ people) and another wedding the same evening and it got a bit crowded in the lobby and bathroom area. Other than that, everything was absolutely perfect! Thank you for making our day wonderful!

I held my wedding and my reception at the Belvedere almost two weeks ago, and I am still getting comments from guests on the beautiful decor and the amazing food. When I first walked into the Belvedere for a preview, I was blown away at how beautiful and modern it was, without the standard "wedding hall" vibe. I was greeted by so many staff members, all eager to help with anything I needed. Cathy was my wedding coordinator, and she was always available to answer all of my questions and respond to any and all of my requests. She had great ideas in planning and setting up the hall and it looked amazing. The day of my wedding, our Pastor was 40 minutes late, pushing back our timeline of events. Cathy and the staff were flawless in making a backup plan, that turned out wonderful. Overall, my experience with this location was fabulous and I would highly recommend having any event here!

Belvedere did a beautiful job!! Everything was gorgeous and the food was great. We got tons of compliments on the steak (my parents - the pickiest diners in the world - said it was the best wedding steak they have ever had), the salad, & the ice cream bar. The chicken and veggie dish (what I got) were only okay. Belvedere was good at working with some of our unusual requests (family style pasta served in lieu of soup course). There was a mixup early on in our planning with Belvedere which made us pretty nervous, however they offered us plenty of compensation for the mixup and the night of the wedding everything was wonderful. The day-of-coordinator was so helpful!

the staff at Belvedere was wonderful to work with. Our wedding coordinator was Orla and she was very responsive and always willing to help out. On the day of the wedding they go above and beyond to make sure the day is special to you and listen to all the little quirks and nuances that you want at your reception. Whether you talk to your coordinator or another member of the staff, everyone is there to make you feel like the special couple and serve whatever needs you may have. What a great place! We had our wedding there last month and they were very accommodating with the organizing the ceremony and reception. The only thing we did not care for was the servers and manager walking around asking how everything was. Having the hotel connected to the building is a big plus, too!

We would definitely recommend the Belvedere!! The food was really good! Orla was very helpful in answering any questions we had in the whole wedding process!

When my husband and I started looking for venues for our wedding reception, the Belvedere was the first venue that we looked at and compared it to all other venues that we saw after that. We should have stopped looking right then and there. I fell in love with this venue from the moment that I walked in. I loved the contemporary and elegant look and feel to the Belvedere. I fell in love with the bridal suite and the purple couch in the lounge in the women's bathroom. The fountains in the lobby make for a great cocktail hour also. The food was fantastic. Our friends and family still complement us about the food that we had served at our wedding. The Belvedere was very accommodating with special needs diets such as Gluten Free meals too. We worked with Orla and she was fantastic. She made sure that everything went perfect for not only my husband and I but all of our guests too. If I could relive my wedding reception again, I would not have changed one thing about how our night went at the Belvedere.

The Belvedere was a fantastic place to hold a wedding reception! Coordinator Orla was incredibly responsive and helpful during the planning process. The food was excellent and we received many comments that it was the best wedding food they had ever had. The premises is gorgeous and modern and everything is very clean and well presented. I recommend this site to anyone getting married in the Chicagoland area.

I am the mother of the bride, and chose only to share venues that would accommodate my budget, and thankfully, the venue of my dreams, Belvedere, was able to work with me to make this happen. Caroline was our coordinator, and what a gem we found with her! She was receptive to all my ideas, and always making her own suggestions and was helpful with every twist and turn. She calmed my nerves, soothed my fears and I feel truly blessed to have had her help and guidance throughout this adventure! If you trust your venue/and coordinator, your experience will be so much nicer for you. Lay your cards on the table up front and build a good relationship with these people, they are truly godsent and I will forever be indebted to Caroline for her help and patience.

Absolutley amazing! Everyone was VERY helpful through out the entire planning process. The site looked beautiful on the evening of our reception and the food was AMAZING!!

Orla was very helpful and very flexible on all the different things we wanted to do.

The room was beautiful and everything turned out perfect.

The only bad thing was that we only had 3 special meals (2 gluten free and 1 vegetarian) and they messed all 3 up. Be sure to reiterate all the special meals to them because that was embarrassing.

All in all it was a great night and very affordable.

Belvedere Banquets do a good job updating you about price changes and/or time changes withing meal service pre-wedding. The banquet could hold up to 1000 people. We had a 550 wedding and we used the entire banquet, plenty of space. We recommend this place.

All in all, it was a beautiful reception and wonderful night. The lobby is gorgeous when the sun goes down and the fountain lights dance on the ceiling. We got a great deal since we had to choose either between 500 or 730 cocktail hour and the only available room left was the middle room. The middle room was a little squishy for our 175 guests, but it was not a problem and we never heard either of the other rooms unless you were in the lobby. The late night snack was delicious and hit the spot. I highly recommend the mini cheeseburgers and pizza.

Orla was great and friendly throughout the whole process. I thought she would stay the whole reception but ducked out early. It turned out not to be a problem though. I saw her there early in the morning and know she had a long day.

The location was fantastic. Loved being directly next door to the hotel. Worked out great for families with children who were able to put the kids to bed and come back down for a drink. The hotel receptionists only handed out hotel bags to some of our guests though. I think they forgot about the rest of the bags. Real Time Sports bar was a nice and close venue for a couple drinks for those of us not ready to call it a night yet.

Now for the minor issues I had. The chicken was great at the first tasting but just ok at the reception. We wanted a second tasting and they charged us for it! If we hadnt signed the contract already, Im sure they would have comped the second tasting. Appetizers didnt seem plentiful enough. The middle banquet room has space for 14 people at the head table. Unfortunately, we had 15 in our wedding party. It was a rather tight fit up there and trying to maneuver those heavy King and Queen chairs was difficult at times.

Like the the past reviews say, Belvedere's decor was beautiful, very modern and fun. There was no problem trying to get a hold of anybody. Our event coordinator was Jodi, and she was great during the planning process. She responded to my emails immediately, if not, the within the same day. Although we did have a few issues the day of the wedding.

The day before the wedding I went to drop off the favors and place cards. That's when I found out that Jodi would be out the office and someone else will be helping us. Now this wouldn't be a problem if somebody contacted me before to let me know, just some professional courtesy. But I was a pretty laid back bride and didn't think much of it. The next issue was the hors d'oeuvres. We had about 320 people at our reception and many people complained that the hors d'oeuvres weren't being served and some had to chase down servers just to get a few pieces. We brought this to the attention of the staff and still nothing was done. The same issue happened with the cake. A lot people mentioned they didn't receive any cake.

Now I'm not sure if the cake was too small (it was 5 tiers) or if the servers didn't get to everyone. When I brought this to Belvedere's attention the week after the wedding, i was pretty much told that the staff said everything went well, family seemed happy, and there were plenty of hors d'oeuvres left over (thats probably because they weren't served!). They also said that they understand that there's two sides to every story and offered a gift certificate (which i haven't received yet) for any inconvenience. Now we have been to weddings before at the Belvedere and the service was great.

We were just disappointed that we didn't get the same level of service. But like everyone else said, the food was awesome and the bartenders were the best, very professional, very courteous.

I would definitely recommend Belvedere. The food was wonderful and I have never seen service like this before at any wedding that I have been to. All the food came out at the same time to every table and the staff was especially attentive to the head table and the parents' tables...asking us if we needed anything and they would bring us drinks from the bar.

The only downside was prior to booking the event we were told that the rooms were sound proof. However, while we were having dinner and soft music was playing ... the party next door was playing extremely LOUD music that could be heard in our room. It was very distracting and put a little damper on the evening. However, the Belvedere staff tried their best to the the other room to lower the music.

Wedding Event

Professional, alittle chaotic at times but I think due to being short staffed it was understandable. Very responsive and accommodating. Definitely recommend for a simple wedding nothing to big.

We loved the elegance of Belvedere’s venue. Lorna was our event coordinator. She was prompt to respond to all emails and phone calls. She was clear in explaining the process and ensuring our vision was achieved. She was extremely helpful in helping us decide all of our details! The food was delicious and the servers were extremely polite. The bartenders did awesome job at making delicious drinks. The only complaint from a few guest that night was that the were mistakenly not served their dinner since they were in the restroom when their table was being served, despite their name tag being out with their food choice. The server did not come back to check on the table until it was time to clean up the main meal, and at that point, the guest felt uncomfortable asking for their dinner meal. I wish I had known sooner to fix the issue for them.
