I had the most amazing experience at Sophia's! As a plus size bride I was so scared to go dress shopping and that I wouldn't find anything that looked good on me. Chadsey was seriously amazing, she listened to everything that I had to say and helped me to find the dress of my dreams on the 6th dress. Everyone I spoke with at Sophia's was kind and helpful. Gina helped me at the Southport/ Indy location and she made everything SO EASY. First, she always made me feel super comfortable and never even a little self conscious. She listened to what I wanted and didnt want in a dress and gave me honest opinions. I never felt forced or pushed to purchase. I live in Daytona Beach and she helped accommodate every appointment I needed when I flew home. We had an issue with the designer and before I could even blink she solved the problem! I visited several bridal shops in search of my dress and will never recommend anyone else. Top notch service.

Helpful Service and Lovely Dresses
I bought my dress in December 2019 for a September 2020 wedding. The entire process was great. I loved that I was able to look at their dress collection myself, as well as try on dresses my consultant selected. My wedding was postponed and after a lot of thought, I decided to reach out to Sophia's because the dress no longer represented the wedding we would end up having another year later. They worked with me and my budget and we were able to find a new dress that I absolutely loved. It was so special to be able to let go of what we thought our wedding would be and embrace a new reality with a new dress.

Fantastic stylists and tons of dresses to choose from
I had an amazing experience at Sophia's! I came for the sample sale, but when nothing was working my stylist Sarah started pulling dresses she thought could work for me that could be ordered instead. She stuck with me trying on dress after dress and made sure I was still feeling good and not overwhelmed. I I knew we were over my appointment time, but she was so supportive and ready to do whatever I was comfortable with going forward. She made sure I knew it was okay to stop if I wanted and that we'd made huge progress in narrowing down what was working and not working and what I liked and didn't like, but she also said she was totally on board to keep going until we found me a dress if that was what I wanted. I decided I wanted to give a few more a try and she let me go back and find more sample dresses to try on and then she would go to the back and look for styles from the orderable dresses that she thought would work for me. I was nearly ready to give up and she pulled one last dress and it had EVERYTHING I wanted - somehow, she'd found a dress that combined all of the elements I'd said I loved from the previous dresses I'd tried on that day. It was definitely the one!! When it came time to order the dress, she happily answered my one million questions. Sophia's also has a system in place to double check measurements for ordering and then they confirm which you the size that will be ordered, which made me feel really reassured (maybe this is the standard for ordering dresses - I'm not sure). This was especially important for me since I ended up measuring between two sizes, so they helped me pick which would made the most sense and told me where it would likely be big on me when it came in. The Saturday of a sample sale (I would assume) must be one of their busiest times, but it never once felt like that - I felt like I had my stylist's full attention and dedication the whole time I was there. Loved this store and the whole experience. Everyone was so kind and supportive and fun - definitely go to Sophia's!

The best wedding dress experience ever
As a plus size woman.. its so hard to find things that make me feel beautiful. After a few bad experiences I walked into this beautiful location thinking it wasn't for me....I was so wrong. They had plenty of designs for my size and was able to take my vision and find something that matched it. On top of that.. they were 100% attentive to me throughout my entire process. I looked and felt amazing!!! And thier alteration company was quick efficient and so spot on.

It was me and it was perfect
This was the last salon I visited and the experience was so different than the others. I was literally the only person there for my appointment and they took the time to measure me and talk with me about what I wanted. Open back, maybe a little color, a little different and OMG they found the perfect dress. It had a bit of art deco feel which I loved! It was me and it was in my budget! By far the best experience
I was SO impressed with Sophia's! I worked with them for both my bridal dress and my bridesmaids. They were always so kind and accommodating. Jade made me feel so comfortable and beautiful during my dress appointment and was very conscious about being discrete with my sizing information which I appreciated. Mackenzie was also wonderful to work with while trying to decide on bridesmaid dresses! Overall they were so patient, friendly, and had great advice. There were several other people who helped us as well that were just as wonderful. Would DEFINITELY recommend!

Love my dress!
I had a wonderful experience at Beloved Brides (now Sophia's, I believe). I went with my mom and sister the first time, and it was such a nice experience. I went in already knowing basically what I was looking for, but I did try on a few other things to make sure! It was a super relaxed process (they only have 1-2 brides in at a time) which I greatly appreciated and all of the sales associates were so nice and super helpful. The alterations were all done in a timely manner also, it was nice that it was in-house. I loved my dress!

I had browsed at another smaller shop before actually going to Sophia’s in Columbus, IN. I didn’t have an appointment, and I didn’t really know what I was looking for, but the ladies welcomed me in anyway and we’re great to work with! I said “yes to the dress” after trying on my first dress! I was impressed with the variety of styles/brands and the amount of dresses in the shop, as well as the affordability of many of them. So... just saying I went to a few wedding dress shops and this one definitely outshined the rest! Amber was so fun to work with and you can tell she loves her job! Her presence and personality was contagious! She was not pushy at all and made sure I was having fun. Like this girl deserves a raise she’s awesome! I am so glad I choose this store! Right off the bat they were very professional and listened to what I wanted and what I didn’t want. Than they took you to a room and had you put on a robe that said bride on the back, which made me feel like I was royalty. They really do make you feel special and that it is all about the bride. Trying to stick to a budget can be hard when you want to find the perfect dress for your special day. I was able to find a dress that I looked beautiful in, and in my budget. They also do alterations in house, plus store it if you need to, which worked out amazing, because I didn't have to spend extra time going different places to get my dress altered or ruin it by changing locations of the dress multiple times.

I loved my experience with Beloved Brides. I've recommended them to several friends already and sing their praises anytime anyone asks me about them. Everyone was awesome. They listened to what I had to say and found my dream dress immediately. I actually asked to try it on second because I was afraid that I wouldn't trust the first dress that day. They had a questionnaire that they asked me to fill out to help them zero in on what I was looking for. I showed them pictures of things that I had seen online. They got it right away. It was such a difference from the first place that I went wedding dress shopping. That place kept trying to put me in expensive dresses that weren't anything like what I was asking for. I cannot stress enough how awesome it was to have someone listen not not try and get me into something at the top of my budget. My dream dress wound up being a lot less that what I was prepared for, which was the icing on the cake. We had appointments at two other stores planned for that day and I canceled them once I found my dream dress. Beloved Brides were easy to work with and really accommodating. I found out the day before the appointment that a childhood friend was coming as a surprise, which put us over the recommended number of people. When I called them up to ask if that was okay they were understanding and worked with our large group. They had suggestions for alterations and even wound up putting me in two dresses at once just to make sure that I could see what it would look like. I cannot wait for my dress to come in.

Sophia’s is my #1 dress shop for many reasons.
I had been to two other bridal dress appointments prior to walking into Sophia’s. I wasn’t quite sure what type of wedding dress I wanted until I saw Sophia’s bridal dress collection. The professionalism in the studio was so refreshing. The atmosphere was clean and well organized. It was hands down the best experience I’ve ever had when dress shopping (including previous shopping experiences as a teen for prom dresses).
Kelsey was kind, fun, professional and funny. She knew just what my tastes were after a brief discussion. She also knew everything about the dresses to the dress designs, name brands, styles, etc.
I felt comfortable through the whole experience as Kelsey and I chatted about life and my wedding in October 2019. I felt even more comfortable and confident for the fact of Sophia’s having dress sizes to try on that actually FIT me. My previous experiences of wedding dress shopping left me down about my body. I shop once then didn’t shop again for 5 weeks because I was so upset with my previous experience. The previous dress shops had me trying on dresses 2-4 dress sizes below my body type. Women should not be body shaming themselves when finding a dress for the most important day of their life. I did not leave Sophia’s feeling this way. I left Sophia’s feeling confident, comfortable and loving myself for me and absolutely loving my dress!
I would 100% recommend Sophia’s to all my friends!

The dress of my dreams
I might have found out that my partner was going to pop the question on accident. So... I obviously went pre dress shopping with my mother and sister. It was the third dress I tried on, and the owner told me I should try it on even though it wasn't anything I'd dream of wearing. I didn't want strapless, bling, or a tight dress. As soon as I put the dress on that is all of the previous three things tears streamed from my face. I have never felt more beautiful and comfortable with my body than standing infront of the mirror. I can't wait to stand infront of my friends and family confident and in the most beautiful and romantic dress I've ever seen. For the details I believe my dress should've been 3k or more and I got it for $1,600. The owner was my dress attendant and she was great and professional to a tee. She even let us drink mimosas :). I hope this place is still around when my children are ready to get married one day because I can't wait to go back. I LOVE THIS PLACE!

Perfect Experience
I had the best experience at Sophia’s when purchasing my wedding gown. The sales associate listened to everything I said, gave suggestions when I asked, and made me feel beautiful. I had a short engagement (5 months) and had plenty of beautiful options. I loved my wedding gown so much and truly had an ideal experience picking it out with my mom and best friend.

Wow! I was crunched for time trying to schedule an appointment for the upcoming Saturday on a Thursday. They worked with my schedule and were able to get me in when they had a cancellation. The two ladies who helped me were such sweet women. My nerves were calmed and the perfect dress was found! I'm so grateful to Beloved Brides for making my wedding dress shopping a beautiful memory. The dress might only be for the day but the memories I have of trying on dresses, showing them to my mom, sister and aunt are forever. I would recommend this shop over and over again!

The staff was so friendly! We ran over on our appointment time and I was in and out of 2 different dresses multiple times! Kelsey stayed with us to help me find that perfect dress! It’s a beautiful building!

Such a fun and smooth experience! I haven't lived in Indiana for years, but came back so my mom was able to come with me to shop for my dress with me. Not living in the state, the girls were very accommodating and easy to work with on terms of sending the dress out to California. They were also very responsive and on top of it when it came to letting me know my dress was in and then setting up an appointment to come in and try-on when it was time (I had to have them store it for a few months before I was able to get back to the state). Thank you guys so much for everything!! Highly recommend :)

If you recently got married, go here! We made the trip from Nashville, TN, and the other bridal stores we tried paled in comparison. I worked with Sarah, and she took time to listen to what I wanted out of the atmosphere of my wedding. In addition, she only gave me dresses that were within my budget. She knew the dresses like the back of her hand, and I was in my perfect dress within the 3rd dress I tried on! I honestly would not have even stepped foot into another bridal store had I known the service I would receive here. Incredible experience!!

Sophia's Bridal is amazing. My sister actually bought her dress here first with Ericka so when I went to get my dress I knew I wanted to get my dress there. It was amazing because Ericka saw my name on the day and said that she wanted to work with us. I actually got my dress at one of the sample sales which I was very nervous about because I'm not a size 2, but there were so many choices and options. Also Ericka was the absolute best, she knew the moment I didn't like a dress without me saying anything but she always gave me different options. I could keep going on and on about how amazing this store is, but I have only gone to the store maybe four times at the most and they remember my name. That is what customer service is about. I'm even trying to find my way to work at their store, haha.

After checking out several shops, my best friend and I both found our dream dresses at Beloved Brides. They had a wide selection of dresses with prices that are unbeatable. I found my dream dress at Beloved Brides!! I worked with Missy and she was great - friendly, enthusiastic, and helpful without being pushy. After going to another off-the-rack bridal shop in Indy that tried high- pressure sales tactics on me, Beloved Brides was a breath of fresh air. They are able to handle all of the alterations too, which is convenient compared to other shops that send you to a tailor. My dress was reasonably priced and I can't wait to see the end result. I would highly recommend Beloved Brides!

I walked in and was immediately greeted with a friendly smile and enthusiasm. I wasn’t sure what I was looking for but once I put on my dress I immediately fell in love. The dresses are very beautiful and unique. You won’t be wearing a dress that everyone else would have. I liked that my dress was so dreamy and fit me perfectly.

After trying on what seemed like 10 dresses and towards the end of my appointment I began to feel a bit discouraged especially since my Mom flew in from out of state just to go dress shopping with me. At a last ditch effort I tried on the dress in the window and it was absolutely beautiful and just perfect to the point of happy tears! I HIGHLY recommend this shop! You will not be disappointed! I had a great experience. When you first arrive they take a quick measurement and give you a general suggestion of what sizes to stay within in order to preserve the integrity of the dress when altering. We took several back and began trying them on. I had the entire place to myself (we went on a Monday) and was able to take my time in each dress. I even put two of them on twice with no issues (I went determined to purchase a specific one and was very surprised when I ended up liking another better so I tried them on a again!). This was our first stop of the day and we arrived early and were able to get the process going early too. Since we went on a Monday I was also able to put the dress on hold and go to the other shops that I had scheduled for the day and then return and purchase the dress no problem. I also got my dress for much less than originally marked! All in all, wonderful experience.

I had a wonderful experience with the entire staff at Sophia's, but cannot thank Katie enough for all her energy and help! They really took the time to make sure that I loved the dress I choose, they never once watched the clock to see if I was going over my scheduled time, and stayed very conscious of my budget. I came in not really knowing what I wanted in a dress, and walked out knowing my purchase was perfect! Very pleased with this bridal shop! My dress was PERFECT, but more importantly it was affordable. The staff was awesome. They are polite, and knew how to match things well. I have suggested this place to many of my friends. This is off the rack though, so i would suggest looking at some dresses that are a couple sizes bigger, and work your way down to the size you actually are. (you can always alter and have them take it in some). Which is what I did, worked like a charm. I found my dream dress.

Beloved Brides was the fourth place I visited when trying to find my wedding dress. Just walking into the store was like night and day compared to the other stores. Aside from one bride visiting briefly when I was there, we had the entire store to ourselves which was so rare on a Saturday afternoon. My consultant Kristen went above and beyond to help me. She was as involved as I wanted her to be in helping me find the dress. I received nothing but kind words all day from the team. Seriously, no words can describe how incredible the staff is there. I dreaded going to bridal boutiques because I was not looking to spend a fortune on my dress. I wish I would have come here sooner! I was able to snag a beautiful gown for $775. I can't wait to wear it on the big day!

Sophia's staff was so nice and helpful. They where extremely warm and inviting. The listened to me and showed me great dresses. They also recommended I buy a size up and I am glad I did because it fit perfectly. I really appreciated their guidance and expertise.
My dress came in a month early and was exactly what I ordered. I got so many compliments on it, it makes me sad I only got to wear it once! Would definitely recommend!

I had a great experience at Sophia's. From the time I made the first phone call to schedule an appointment, which they worked me in so that my friends and family could be in town for, all the way to picking my dress up the day before the wedding everything was great. I went in with a particular style in mind and the girl helping me was great to pull dresses in the style. After determining that was not the style I liked, she helped me find the perfect dress and accessories. They were super friendly during the entire process and great to work with. The new facility is perfect and very girl feels like a princess. I would recommend this place to anyone!

The most professional and down to earth employees in the whole world!! I was super disappointed after making multiple appointments at other bridal boutiques. I felt like I was thrown to the side and just another sale to them. Alyssa and her team at Sophia's not only made my friends and I welcome, but we felt like we were part of the Sophia's family. Alyssa asked me questions and the very first dress she picked out for me was THE ONE. She picked out so many dresses that were right up my alley. She listened to my needs and wants and also helped me branch out into things I had never thought about but LOVED. Not only this, but multiple other employees jumped into my appointment too (which I loved) to compliment and admire. I felt like such a princess during this appointment! I purchased the steaming package for before my day (which I HIGHLY recommend) and my dress was so perfect the day of! They recently moved into a new location and OMG YOU HAVE TO SEE IT. It is the most incredible building I have ever seen. The design and decorations are so beautiful. The staff, building, dresses, pricing, everything is perfect. Ladies, make your appointments with Sophia's and request Alyssa or Anna! You will absolutely not be disappointed. You will leave your appointment with the biggest smile on your face and new friends. Opposed to the typical mermaid, lace gowns that are extremely popular right now, I walked into Sophia's wanting a big, puffy, princess gown and they sure did deliver! I found the dress of my dreams and their services were extraordinary during the entire process. I ordered my dress in November 2015 and everything was perfect come our October 2016 wedding. I opted to store my dress at their store which was a GREAT relief. They also allowed me and my large group to come in on more than one occasion and try it on. I couldn't be more pleased and highly recommend their services!

This place is fantastic!!! Absolutely gorgeous dresses and the sweetest and most knowledgeable staff! I absolutely fell in love with a dress there and bought it for my wedding which was a few weeks ago. I got so many compliments on the dress! Thanks, Sophia's!

I wasn't sure if I was suppose to find THE dress on my first time shopping. Not only that, it was the second one I put on! I didn't think I would find the perfect dress within my thousand dollar budget, but it's beautiful. It's a small boutique but many options available. The staff was lovely and very respectful when it comes to letting you pick the dresses you want to try but offering advice when needed. I would highly recommend this boutique to any bride looking for their dress. They also gave a small token of appreciation after deciding on my dress! You won't be disappointed! I'm so happy with my experience.

This was the craziest experience: after trying on a billion dresses in several different stores, we went to Sophia's. They did not allow pictures to be taken, which really bugged me, but the experience was really nice, regardless. Here's the crazy part: Out of their beautiful and unique Maggie Sottero selection (MS dresses I hadn't seen in other stores), I bought a dress that, much to everyone's surprise, turned out to be out of production. Sophia's staff apologized profusely, and offered every deal they could come up with. Heartbroken, I fumbled around the store looking for inspiration when my mom pulled an even more amazing MS gown that was way over my budget. The shop had already closed but the staff helped me put it on, accessorize, make me feel like a cherished customer, and I LOVED IT!!! Because of the error, Sophia's offered to do an even exchange despite the huge price difference between gowns. My gown is the most gorgeous thing I have ever owned or worn, and I'm SO happy I got the chance to find it and have it. Thanks Sophia's!

I went to try on wedding dresses during their annual sale last fall and I received the best service compared to the other two stores I had previously been to. The girl that helped me was friendly, excited and genuinely wanted to help me find "the dress". I couldn't have had a better experience with anyone else. I would highly recommend that brides to be check out sophia's bridal. You won't be disappointed.

Sophia's was an amazing experience. I tried a few other larger shops in the area and was really disappointed. Sophia's not only made me feel special but when I asked for an extra appointment so that my step-mother could come and be included in the process, they not only agreed but helped me think through how to set up the appointment. Katy was amazing--she made me feel beautiful and special!!

I can't say enough good things about Sophia's. They were so helpful and professional! I came in April of this year and left having found my dream wedding gown. I know it will be perfect in November for our big day! The girl who helped us was so friendly and really paid attention to what I liked and didn't which helped to find the right fit! Great place! :)

I traveled to Sophia's from Milwaukee to look at a Maggie Sottero dress during a trunk show. They never made me feel rushed, showed me plenty of options when I realized my "dream dress" was not going to work with my body, and properly got me measured when I did find a dress I loved.

Sophia's is the cutest boutique to find a bridal gown. They have a pretty nice selection given their boutique-ness, and with the thoughtful help of my consultant, I found my gown within 2 hours. The entire experience was very personal, and I felt as if the staff members were genuinely invested in finding the absolute most perfect gown for me. I never once felt overwhelmed as I had in larger stores that were a bit more chaotic. I had five women with me, and the space was no problem (though we had made an appointment on a Monday, so it may have been a bit crowded if other brides were there). They do not sell bridesmaids dresses, and most grooms' tuxes require ordering without trying on so I only got my gown here. This didn't bother me, though, as they had good recommendations for other vendors for bridesmaids dresses and tuxes. I only wish they would have held the dress in the store for free (it was an extra cost), because I instead brought it home to my closet, which I shared with my fiance. I felt like a princess at Sophia's and would definitely recommend them!

There is a beautiful variety of dresses at Beloved Brides at a great value and the service is excellent. I ended up selecting a dress I never would have imagined would look good on me or I could afford! It's a must for your first (and most likely only) stop for wedding dress shopping!

I was very happy with how many beautiful dresses there were to choose from -- don't be dismayed by the seemingly small floor size! They have all sorts of styles in a wide range of budgets. The service was great too, very helpful and professional.

This place is amazing! This was the 3rd shop I went to while searching for wedding dresses. I was uncomfortable with my body at the time and was getting discouraged. I didn't think I was going to find anything that looked good and almost settled for a dress at Alfred Angelo I could deal with. One of my friends mentioned Sophia's and I went in to give it a shot and I fell in love! I worked with Stasia and she was amazing. After taking a survey to get an idea of the style I was going for, she grabbed a few dresses off the racks. She knew exactly what would look good on my body type. I felt beautiful in everything I tried on. She was very patient with me when I had to schedule a 2nd appointment because I couldn't decide between 3 particular dresses. When I went back I tried them all on a few times and finally made my decision and I am so in love with my dress. I can't wait to show it off in a month!

Sophia's was the second dress shop I went to. My first experience left me feeling like it was going to be an uphill battle to find my perfect dress. However, as soon as I came into Sophia's, I felt welcomed, and everyone was super helpful and sweet! The first dress I tried on was perfect, but I went ahead and tried on other dresses too, and the girl that helped me was very understanding! There was no pressure to buy or trying to hurry me up to get to the next appointment. They made me truly feel like a bride, and a satisfied one at that!

We wanted to keep my dress within a certain budget but more importantly support local businesses as much as we could. That is a huge theme to our wedding day festivities. When I heard of Beloved Brides being locally owned I knew I had to check it out. Not only was this the first place I decided to start my dress shopping at but it was the only place! After trying on 5 dresses I found the one. I highly recommend this store. I'm looking forward to my wedding day in this absolutely beautiful dress!
