Best selection and service!

Shopping at Beloved for my wedding gown felt like a dream! The sisters who own the shop are so unbelievably sweet, helpful, and committed to making the experience unforgettable for every bride who comes in. They were so knowledgeable about their selection of dresses and accessories, which made it very easy for me to find the perfect gown, veil and jewelry all from Beloved. They made the experience so special for me, my mom and my sisters even though we came in while COVID restrictions were still in place. They also made a great recommendation for alterations and I couldn't be happier with how the overall look turned out. So grateful for the talented team at Beloved!

So thankful for this place

I had such a hard (and discouraging) time finding what I was looking for before I found Beloved Bridal. I had an even worse time with the attitudes of those salespeople.

The woman that helped me at my appointment at Beloved Bridal found exactly what I was looking for, and it was absolutely PERFECT. She really actually cared about me finding my dress, and not just about making a sale like all the other shops I had been to. She was so sweet and didn’t rush me at all, she made it super fun by taking pictures of me and my family members and just made it feel like I was shopping with a friend rather than a salesperson.
Beloved bridal was one of my BEST wedding planning experiences BY FAR.

Best bridal store!

Beloved Bridal is by far the greatest bridal shopping experience I could have ever imagined. If you want to be surrounded by authentic, kind, and thoughtful bridal stylists, this is your place. Not once did I feel rushed or pressured, which is different from other stores I have visited. Ashely made me feel so comfortable and beautiful, my party and I absolutely loved her. Ashley went above and beyond to help me customize my dress to my own style and truly listened to my vision. She even emailed me and included me on picking out the particular fabric swatches so I feel like I played a part in designing my dream dress. I still am filled with so much gratitude when I think of my experience and I recommend this shop to all of my friends. Besides having such awesome stylists, the shop could not be decorated any cuter! In my information sheet, I also got to add my favorite Spotify playlist which played in the background, making me feel right at home. I wish getting a wedding dress was a routine activity, just so I could visit Beloved more often haha but I cannot wait to pick up my dream dress to visit the shop again. Seriously make an appointment now so you can feel exactly what I am talking about! This is the best bridal experience a girl could ever dream off. Also very reasonably priced!

Best bridal shop I went to

This bridal shop made shopping for the perfect dress during COVID still feel special, easy, fun, and safe! Posting all of their dresses online so that you can pick your style ahead of time was a major plus! Ashley and Megan are so helpful and kind and made the whole experience wonderful. I went to two stores before COVID and another store after the pandemic hit, and this store was the best BY FAR regardless. I highly recommend this store.

Incredible Experience!

I had an appointment with Meg at Beloved Bridal and couldn't have had a better or more successful experience! I was a little overwhelmed at the thought of dress shopping and this was my first appointment, but Meg made me feel so comfortable and I loved the experience. After chatting about my wedding plans and style, we started out with 5 gowns and then Meg picked out more as we figured out what we liked/didn't like. Ashley and Meg have an incredible selection for any bride and style. I am so thrilled with the dress we purchased and cannot wait to wear it!

A true 5 star experience

I went to 4 different bridal shops and this was hands down the best experience. It was so easy to schedule an appointment online. The shop is right downtown on Main St and is super cute, bright, and modern. Meghan and Ashley were kind, welcoming, and attentive. They listened to my dress ideas, allowed me to browse their collection myself and they also picked some for me. I had a very specific vision in mind for my dress after tons of online research, and not only did they have many gowns that fit my style, but they had THE ONE for me! They were not pushy at all, respected my budget, didn't set a limit to how many gowns I could try, and gave me lots of time to think in each dress. They even took pics of me in the dresses (no other shop had done that - one shop even prohibited pics!). The appointment was private, which I didn't think was a big deal until I experienced it. TGS was the only place I went to that offered private appointments, and this was extra special for me because I specifically chose to go alone so I could process the dresses myself (in other shops the other customers would comment on the dresses I tried - which is exactly what I was trying to avoid!). I came back a second time with guests to buy the dress, and the second experience was just as good as the first. They also gave recommendations to local seamstresses and cleaners, which was so helpful. I cannot recommend TGS highly enough! Thank you, Meghan and Ashley, for such a wonderful experience!

Amazing service

I made an appointment to purchase a dress for my wedding. At my appointment the girls made me feel like a million bucks! Prior to the appointment I completed a questioner with what I was interested in. When walking into my appointment the girls had dresses pulled based on my interests. They made a stressful event, easy, stress free and a breeze! I was worried that I was not going to find a dress, but four dresses later I said YES to the dress and can't wait to get married!

Relaxing and fun!

Went to TGS as my first stop for wedding dress shopping intending to get an idea of styles I liked. I really liked the relaxed feeling and attention with the private appointment! Meghan was easy-going, helpful and funny. Didn’t feel like I was being rushed or pushed into a decision at all. I really liked a few dresses the first day and Meghan offered for us to come back the next day if we wanted. Long story short, I did go back the next day and ended up buying a dress! Bought a beautiful gown off the rack at a great price! Can’t say enough positive things about this place. Don’t hesitate to make an appointment here- you won’t regret it!

Found my dress with ease!

I had previously been to the gown shop to try on dresses and didn't find "the one" I got a notification that they were having a sample sale and figured why not try it out? I went in and found my dress off the rack and they even let me try it on to make sure it was the one. These women genuinely care about brides and enjoy helping them find their dress and any accessories as well!

Highly Recommend

I had a great experience at The Gown Shop recently. It is an adorable shop downtown Ann Arbor and it's totally private, by appointment only. Ashley and Meghan were extremely friendly, listened to what I was looking for and gave me some great options to try on. I ended up being torn between two dresses by the end of my appointment and still had another appointment to go to at another gown shop. I ended up going back to TGS a few days later to do a retry on and knew I had found the one. I LOVE my dress and cannot wait to wear it. The girls were very professional and made the experience a fun one. I went to a few other shops while dress shopping and I found a lot of my experience to be stressful and/or rushed. You can tell Ashley and Meghan love what they do and truly want brides to be happy.

Stacy & The TGS are amazing!

I had the BEST experience at the Gown Shop.
Stacy was amazing from the moment we stepped in the door. At the gown shop, they shut the entire store down for you so that she is able to give you her undivided attention. Stacy had dresses already picked out based on the styles that I sent in the pre-visit questionnaire. This saved so much time as I did not need to spend my apt. time shuffling through the racks. She is truly amazing at her job and knows her stuff. She can read your face and direct what type of dresses you try on just based on the vibe you emit as you are trying them on. Not to mention the quality of dresses are amazing here. I ended up finding my dress here and it was such a special moment. I cannot recommend TGS & Stacy enough.

Audrey and Kat helped me find my dream wedding gown!

The Gown Shop in Ann Arbor was literally like a fairy tale! I was visiting a family friend in Michigan, happened to have an hour to kill, happened to have been around the corner from the store, and they happened to have an appointment in 10 minutes. The Gown Shop only allows one bride in the store at a time, so me and my family were free to look around and try on for an hour. I had never tried on a single gown, so we got help finding and picking different styles. When we had time for one gown more, my family showed me one they had been eyeing. They thought it would be at least $10,000 by the looks of it but when we looked at the tag, it was less than 25% of that! Although it was still a little more than I wanted to spend, it combined a few of the details that I liked from other gowns. When I put it on, I had a gut feel; it was comfortable, flattering, and spectacular. When Audrey opened the curtain, my family knew the same. We talked with Audrey extensively about recommendations for a veil (found a perfect one), jewelry (found perfect earrings), and alterations. However, because of my Type A personality I just couldn’t bring myself to buy it that day (even though there is a 10% discount for purchase day of) when I hadn’t been looking seriously and hadn’t been anywhere else. Over the next week, I went to David’s Bridal (their top tier gowns were more expensive than the one I loved and not nearly as nice, very ‘manufactured’ feeling) and one other boutique. There was not a single gown that held a candle to the one at the Gown Shop. Within a couple days I decided that there was no way I’d find anything better, even though I was about 16 months to my wedding and had plenty of time to look. Between Audrey and Kat, they helped me feel comfortable purchasing the gown and accessories from afar due to their best-in-class customer service and because Audrey took measurements when I was in the store. After ordering, they made everything better by keeping in touch through a hand-written note during the wait, letting me know when the gown arrived at the store (~ 7 months later), and packaging my gown safely and with a personal touch. Every step of the way Audrey, Kat, and The Gown Shop treated me like their most important bride. I would highly recommend any bride-to-be to visit The Gown Shop because if your dream gown is anywhere—there is a magical chance it is waiting for you there!

AMAZING Experience!

highly recommend The Gown Shop in Ann Arbor! If you want a bridal experience that makes you feel important, this is the place to go. They only do one on one appointments, so you have the whole boutique to yourself and your entourage. Natalie was my consultant, and she was very attentive and listened to everything I did and didn't like. She made sure to pull a wide variety of dresses for me to try on, just to make sure I wasn't missing anything. She also did whatever she could to make sure my dream dress was within my budget. I couldn't be happier with my decision or with my experience. This was my first experience trying on dresses and I don't regret it at all! The one on one experience is definitely worth the drive!

The Gown Shop was the only place I needed to go for my dress! I gave Stacy a few ideas of what I might like and how much I was willing to spend. She didn't have a lot to go off of from me, but every dress she pulled was beautiful, fit great with my body type, and was within my budget. The third dress I tried on was PERFECT and the one! I cannot wait to go back and put it on again. It was such an exciting moment for all of us and we have Stacy to thank for all of her help. She also found the most beautiful veil and headpiece for me in the same appointment! We had such a fun time at the Gown Shop!!

Audrey and Stacy were incredibly helpful in setting up my appointment and making sure I had the dresses and styles I wanted to try on (the Ann Arbor shop had more of the gowns I wanted to try and the style that fitted me best, so we set up my appt there). Natalie was my stylist for the appointment and she was absolutely wonderful, I can’t say enough about her! She made the experience special and enjoyable and was able to keep the focus on what we were there for— finding the perfect dress for me... And we did! She was instrumental in helping me decide between 2 dresses that I was conflicted over, and now I have a beautiful gown that I can’t wait to wear on my wedding day!

My experience with The Gown Shop was wonderful. Audrey helped me find the perfect dress! As I tried on different dresses, she asked the right questions...which led to finding THE dress. Thank you for patience Audrey :) Maybe it's worth mentioning that I actually live in DC, and I've been looking for a dress for months and didn't find the right one because the assistance in the various bridal shops I visited was never as helpful as the one I received in The Gown Shop. I had the most incredible experience finding a dress at TGS. My mom was in town so we booked a few bridal appointments to try on some dresses. TGS was the first store we went to. From the initial phone call I knew this would be an incredible experience whether I found the dress or not. We were wow'd by the beauty of the shop and the privacy we had with the whole store to ourselves. Audrey was so sweet and listened so well to all of my feedback on each dress I tried on and ultimately pulled dresses off the rack that I never thought I would wear. One of those dresses turned out to be the dress for me. I needed some time to process so I told her we would be in touch after our next appointment. As soon as I was done trying on dresses at another store I called them back and asked if I could come try on the dress again that day because I think it was the one. They made time for me shortly after that and next thing you know....I said yes to the dress! I can't wait until my dress gets in and I get to go back to the store for another great experience!

The Gown Shop is WONDERFUL! I visited 5 or 6 other shops before coming here and TGS definitely stood high above the rest. The one-on-one service is so refreshing and makes you feel so much more relaxed. My consultant was Erin and she listened to exactly what I was looking for and knew the perfect dress for me instantly. She was enthusiastic and kind, and my mom and MOH loved her too. Audrey was there to help take my measurements and made me feel so comfortable about going through the process of ordering a custom gown. At another appointment, Kat helped me pick out the perfect jewelry to go with my gown. All in all, my entire experience with TGS and their staff was wonderful. I would recommend it to any bride within reasonable distance. They are a step above the rest!

I thought it was a great experience . I liked having the store By myself for a appointment. I went a few weeks later to look for a child's dress at Davids Bridal and was very happy that I didn't have to go there!

Oh my goodness- the girls at the Gown Shop are INCREDIBLE. I had an absolutely perfect experience; they were so helpful, personal, accommodating and fun. I felt completely comfortable with them and immediately felt like Erin understood the "feel" of my wedding and the style of dress I was hoping to find (and we found it!). My experience at The Gown Shop was nothing short of wonderful. I wish I could give The Gown Shop Ann Arbor more than five stars! I had the most incredible experience with Audrey. I was feeling somewhat defeated going into my appointment as I had tried on quite a few dresses prior. Audrey sat down with myself and my entourage at the beginning to find out more about me and my fiancé and my vision for a wedding dress. She made me feel so good before the appointment had even started. She was absolutely incredible! She knew exactly what I wanted in a dress before I even knew. I said yes to the dress that day which I did not anticipate I would do. I cannot recommend this bridal boutique enough. From the appointment setting up, to the appointment itself, to the follow-up, absolutely wonderful experience. With the help of Audrey and TGS Ann Arbor I found the wedding dress of my dreams!

I had the most wonderful experience at The Gown Shop after having several not so good experiences at other stores. I honestly think walking in to the gown shop and having the store all to yourself and having someone there to work with only you is the most calming experience. I felt like Stacy and her team truly listened to things that I liked and disliked and only brought me dresses to try on that they knew I would like. Never once did I feel pressured to buy anything or spend any money at all they were simply there to help me find my dress which I ended up doing. I walked through those doors with a negative attitude and left with a smile on my face so thank you to The Gown Shop for turning my experience positive.

I had such a great experience at The Gown Shop Ann Arbor! Audrey was helping me pick out my dress during my appointment, and she was so amazing! She was very accommodating when I told her what my budget was, and was so professional throughout the entire experience. I had never tried on bridal gowns before, and did not know what to expect. I was also a bit worried about the fact that I would be the only person in the shop and that all attention would be focused on me. I usually just like to browse through stores on my own, and was unsure about how the whole process would go! I actually had such a wonderful time and it was not stressful being the only person there at all. I ended up finding my perfect dress that day, thanks to Audrey's help and keen eye! I would absolutely recommend this bridal shop to anyone looking to get a top-notch experience with people who will take the time to hear your wants, needs, and desires when it comes to picking out your perfect wedding dress. I have always been the type of person that doesn't particularly want anyone to help me when I'm shopping in a store - I just like to browse and try things on at my own pace. So needless to say, I was somewhat dreading the idea of a formal wedding dress try-on experience. I had also searched online for a specific wedding skirt that I wanted and knew that The Gown Shop had it, so I planned to just try that one thing on. However, once I got there, I had such an amazing experience from beginning to end: Kat was my stylist, and in addition to the skirt I originally had my eye on, she picked out a beautiful variety of dresses and skirts that I absolutely loved. Some of them were things I wouldn't have picked out myself, but since Kat had such a good eye for what would flatter my body, they all made me feel amazing when I tried them on. She was super efficient and offered great advice and suggestions about my various options, the best way to style them, what would work best for the hot/humid location I was getting married in, etc. I ended up choosing the skirt that I originally wanted, but it was a tougher decision than I expected with all the beautiful alternatives that Kat showed me, and I was surprised that I had such a good time trying so many different dresses on! Audrey was also wonderful to work with -- She helped advise me on the sizing and length for the skirt, and was always super nice even when I called and emailed multiple times about the length because I was paranoid that it wouldn't be long enough (I'm very tall, but it ended up being plenty long). I also used an alteration studio that The Gown Shop recommended for tailoring my skirt, and they did an incredible job as well. I absolutely adore my skirt (which I paired with an ivory lace top), and I received so many compliments on my wedding day. Thank you Audrey, Kat, and the rest of The Gown Shop team for making my wedding dress shopping/try-on experience so easy and enjoyable!

I went to the Gown Shop because of a veil they carried that I wanted to try on. I contacted them 3 weeks before my wedding, and they were able to get me an appointment, choose a veil, have it ordered and ready all within about 2 weeks. The brand, Sara Gabriel has a wonderful working relationship with the store and accommodated my request. As an Ann Arbor native, I walked past their beautiful dresses in their window storefront on main street and always wondered about the beauty inside. What a fun experience to go with my Mom into the store and try on veils for my perfect touch. The staff was sweet and professional, and gave me advice on how to steam my veil, store it and secure it to my head. The store itself is a dream. I can only imagine the experience of trying on their beautiful gowns. Thank you for providing my special touch for my day.

Cat at the gown shop was able to take my ideas of what I wanted and translate it into my perfect dress. No other gown shop in the area fit my bridal style the way that the gown shop in Ann Arbor could. I originally attended one of their sample sales, but I'm a bit of a bean pole and the 8-10 sizes just didn't work. While I was there, I couldn't help but drool over a dress in their Amy Kuschel collection. I looked it up on their website as soon as I got home and knew I had to schedule an appointment to try it on. They book up fast, and I had to schedule an appointment out a little farther than I was hoping. But, they reassured me the designer I was interested in was wonderful on timing, and turns out she really is.
The appointment itself was perfect. Having the room to yourself really gives you a fairytale bridal feel. If it hasn't hit you already that you're getting married, standing there in that gorgeous space with the sweetest ladies fussing over you smacks you in the face in the best kind of way. Amy Kuschel's Jules was the first I tried on and the one I ordered that day. Heather had me try on a handful of other options, so I wouldn't have buyers remorse wondering if I made a decision too soon. Because of that, I went home happy and confident. Heather was straight-forward, honest, and genuine. We all appreciated her so! The dress arrived on time, and picking up was as smooth as the purchasing process. I went in, tried it on, swooned for a solid ten minutes, and took it home. Simple as that.
I'm over-the-moon about my experience and truly couldn't recommend The Gown Shop Bridal more!

My experience was amazing, so personally I can't come up with anything outside of good feedback! The Gown Shop is beautiful inside! My experience was very personal which I loved!! I was willing to pay some money for a dress and I got everything I had ever dreamed of in a dress their! I would recommend The Gown Shop to every bride unless you're willing to share your personal experience with 30 other brides and workers standing around like at other bridal stores. I really enjoyed my experience at The Gown Shop. Everything from the appointment booking process to the confirmation to the actual day-of was easy and professionally coordinated. I particularly enjoyed the fact that the bride-to-be and her "entourage" are the only people in the shop during the appointment. This was a last minute trip planned the night before at 5 pm! This was the first salon I visited when I was looking for my dream gown and honestly no other shop compared. I found my dress, Modern Trousseau's Mina, that first trip and of course the "wonder" of something else topping it was there, so I went on my way and continued to look at different shops and try on dress after dress just to have my mind wander right back to The Gown Shop... After not too long I stopped searching and followed my heart and I am so glad I did! The dresses at TGS are the best of the best that you can find in the Metro Detroit Area, and I still cannot get over how perfect my gown was for me and my special day.

I was lucky enough to work with Heather and Audrey and both of them were SO sweet, helpful, and fun! I had such a great time looking for my gown with them and I am so thankful for the experience they gave my mom and I during one of the most important milestones in my life! I would certainly recommend The Gown Shop to anyone looking for something special for their perfect day!

I also got my hair vine from TGS and I have to say... best. splurge. ever!!! I loved the jewelry, veil, and accessory selection they have there, too!

And when none of the dresses they were bringing were piquing my interest, they brought me back to the selection they had and allowed me to choose. I ended up purchasing my dress from them that same day (and definitely did not think I would find it this soon!), and I would HIGHLY recommend anyone to go and visit them!

Oh my gosh, my experience felt like a movie! Kat was phenomenal! She listened to me and watched my reactions... then still listened to my mom and sisters ideas. We hadn't even noticed my wedding dress but Kat knew it was the one for me.... THEN she helped me for an extra 30 minutes customizing it! The whole experience was just amazing. The girls were so sweet and the atmosphere is calming. I would recommend these girls and this shop to ANYONE as I found my PERFECT dress and felt like an absolute princess :)

My five star rating is for The Gown Shop itself. I would give the designer Tara Keely zero stars though. The Gown Shop is a beautiful place and makes trying on wedding dresses feel like a personalized, classy experience. They schedule 1:1 appointments and you are the only bride in the very spacious room. The only downside is you're only allowed to take pictures of the dress you actually order. I ordered my wedding dress from here last November. The skirt had three tiers and since I'm shorter, TGS suggested that I pay an additional fee to the designer to have them alter the length of the dress before I received it which sounded like a great idea in theory. The thought was that the designer would take time to even the three layers out vs. just chopping one off. However, what happened was the complete opposite. The designer literally just chopped off most of the top layer leaving that one unproportionally short and also all bunchy, not laying correctly. I was so upset when I took it to the seamstress and they told me they would have to spend hours taking it apart and to fix the top layer, they would need more lace. I figured there was no way I could get more lace. But when I talked to The Gown Shop about this, I was so pleasantly surprised. I worked with Audrey and she was so accommodating. She happily agreed to overnight lace from the designer, plus a check for the additional fee I had paid to have it specially altered, plus a portion of the additional alteration fee since my seamstress now had to spend hours rebuilding the dress. Audrey's response to what could have been a complete nightmare situation makes me have the utmost respect for this place. She couldn't control what the designer did to the dress but how she hadn't it couldn't have been more professional. And ultimately, I did end up with my dream dress!

What a wonderful wedding dress experience this was! I am not a girl who ever dreamed of the day I would buy my dress, but they still made me feel every bit like a princess. They clear the entire large room out except for you and your party, and make you the center of it all. They are very supportive and really make it a wonderfully memorable experience. Oh and the dress selection is absolutely beautiful. Thank you ladies!

She made wedding dress shopping a breeze! If only there were more stores like BeLoved in this world, the world would be a better place! I can't express to you the amazing work ethic this wonderful woman has, she truly cares about her clients! She was so attentive and we had wonderful service the whole appointment. She accommodated to my every need and I was amazed at how BEAUTIFUL all of their gowns are! It was so hard to choose only one, but she made me feel like the most important client she has ever had! The gown shop was the first place I went to look for a dress and I didn't need to go anywhere else! They had an amazing selection and I have trouble deciding on 2! I would recommend The Gown Shop to any bride. I was never the girl who had my wedding planned out since I was young, but I was a someone who day dreamed about my wedding gown and the experience I would have selecting my dress. The Gown Shop exceeded my expectations and then some. Picking out my dress was a moment I will never forget and The Gown Shop is the reason for that.

I had a great experience at The Gown Shop! We were able to get a Sunday appointment, which was helpful because I came from out of town to shop in Michigan as that is where my mom, stepmom, and MOH live. We had the store to ourselves for the appointment and got personalized attention unlike any other store we had visited previously. The store itself had a cute, boutique feel and only added to the entire experience. Since buying my dress, anytime I have contacted them via phone or email with a question, they have gotten back to me very quickly. I highly recommend making an appointment at The Gown Shop - you won't be disappointed!

Before coming to The Dress Shop I felt hopeless. I tried on countless dresses at one two many stores and felt like there was no "perfect dress" out there for me.

At first, I thought the experience here would be the same. However, as soon as I walked into The Dress Shop I knew this would be where I would find my life long dream gown. Front the moment you walk into the door you feel like a bride. I absolutely loved how it's just you, your family and friends, as well as the bridal consultants and no one else. It really sets them apart from any other shop I went to. That alone made me feel so special, as a bride should during these memorable moments!

I could go on and on how great this place is as well as their entire staff! I would highly recommended them to anyone!

The service at The Gown Shop was absolutely wonderful from the start of the appointment, to picking up my dress. When you go for your appointment, you are the only bride in the whole shop. This really creates an intimate feel and makes you feel like the staff are just focusing on you. When I decided on my dress and placed the order, staff worked were really flexible and modified their pick-up protocol for me. They have everyone sign a contract stating that if the dress isn't picked up within 10 days, it becomes property of the store. I live in Chicago, and can't always go back to Michigan at a moments notice. They were flexible and worked with my schedule when the dress came in, so I didn't need to bend over backwards to get back to Michigan on a time crunch! They also recommended a wonderful seamstress for alterations in Chicago. Overall, they were incredibly helpful throughout the whole process and made a potentially stressful appointment very fun and relaxing!

I could not be happier with my experience at The Gown Shop!

Heather was my bridal consultant. She took the time to get to know me and asked many questions about the wedding. She pulled some gorgeous gowns for me to try on and I ended up purchasing the most beautiful wedding gown EVER! I can't wait for my fiancé to see me in this gown...it is perfect!

Heather was an absolute pleasure to work with! I would highly recommend this store!

I had a great experience at the Gown Shop in Ann Arbor. I went in expecting to get a better idea of what I liked and walked out after having bought my wedding dress. Every dress I tried on was gorgeous. The staff was very helpful, providing honest input on the dresses I tried on and selecting styles that they knew I would like based on my Pinterest boards. The only thing that I didn't like was that I was not allowed to take pictures until I decided on buying my dress. Also, I wish that they had an in house seamstress for alterations, even though they provide recommendations for local tailors.

I can't wait to wear my Gown Shop wedding dress on my big day!

I absolutely loved this place. I was able to have a private appointment, with no fuss. The staff really listened to what I wanted and then adjusted their search accordingly. I also love the attentiveness to detail that they put into finding me a dress. The icing on the cake was being able to get my dress discounted by buying it right off the rack. I cut my dress budget in half and I got the dress of my dreams!! 5 stars amazing! I will be recommending this shop to all my friends.

I highly recommend The Gown Shop, besides being super cute, the girls that work there are awesome!!! I had no idea what to expect on my first visit, but my friend and I were blown away...we had the entire shop to ourselves, and Heather made me feel very comfortable. I had no idea what kind of dress I wanted, or where to even begin, but Heather just started bringing in dresses, and listening to what I liked and did not like, and would bring in more dresses based on my likes and dislikes. Heather was very attentive and made me feel like I was the most important person in the world. I had another dress in mind (from Pinterest), and she encouraged me to find that dress and try it on, as she was convinced it fit my style and vision..and she was right! Because the dress I fell in love with is by a designer they carry in the Perrysburg store, Heather told me I was able to order the dress from her, which was important to me, because she spent so much time and effort making sure I found my dream gown. Heather was in contact with me through the whole process, and answered every question I had (a lot), and made me feel at east with the whole process. (It's hard trying a dress on once somewhere else, and then ordering it two weeks later, without trying it on again!!!!) When my mom and I went to order my dress, Audrey was awesome! She was also very attentive, and calming and supportive of my dress decision. I will tell everyone I know to go to The Gown Shop to buy their wedding dress. Hands-down...best experience! I can't wait for my dress to come in, and go back to try it on, and accessorize! Thank you Heather and Audrey for making dress shopping so special and fun!!!!

This was my third Store I visited to shop for a dress. Audrey was so welcoming, professional and GOOD at what she does. She asked me questions about our wedding, my taste, and my fiancé. And she really listened. I was pretty open to styles and looks but she asked the right questions and just by listening was able to figure out what I was looking for. Every single dress she pulled was stunning and I would have been happy to be married in. I cannot say enough good things about this place, Audrey, and my experience generally.

I just happened to be in Ann Arbor last summer when I stumbled upon the gown shop. I am so glad that I did because they have a great selection of gowns that weren't too flashy, but just straight gorgeous! They have an ongoing sample sale in a separate room where I found the perfect dress for my wedding. They were very accommodating! One reason this shop stood out among all of the others was that they weren't pushy, didn't force me to find my dream dress in a short amount of time, and were just super helpful and patient all around. I am so grateful for that experience and I encourage anyone to check them out. I'm sure you will have nothing, but a positive experience. I ended up getting a 2015 Sarah Seven gown at the sample sale for less than full price :)
