I used Bellelite hair and make up services for my wedding at Villa Woodbine on 3/23/25. Besides myself the bride, we had 6 others ladies in the bridal party. Each person had their specific vision for hair and make up, and Bellelite team (3 talented ladies) nailed the look for each of the women in my wedding party. Even my mom who is always so picky was so happy with her look! As a bride, I felt like a princes and a movie star at the same time! Both hair and make up have exceeded my expectations and lasted the whole day! I will definitely use Bellelite again in the future and highly recommend them to everyone! Kai who coordinated everything was super helpful, knowledgeable and available and available to answer all the questions.Bellelite's reply:

I couldn’t have found a better team to do my and my wedding party’s makeup and hair. We all felt like queens after Bellelite’s team was done with us. My hair and makeup lasted the whole event, at the end of the night I didn’t want to take my makeup off or my hair down. I had the pleasure to work with Kai from the beginning who was so helpful and sweet. We had a couple obstacles but Kai was able to help me and made the process so smooth. Then I had a trial with Randy and Janais and omgggg. They asked all the right questions and honestly I couldn’t believe how amazing everything turned out. They had great energy and were very punctual. I’ve had some bad experiences in the past and was a little hesitant but trust me you can’t go wrong with Bellelite. All of the Bellelite team were amazing to work with. They were very professional and responsive in their communications. They managed to get our large group done with plenty of time and made sure everyone looked flawless. Phenomenal Stylists!
If you’re looking for hair and makeup artists for your wedding, look no further than Bellelite. These stylists went above and beyond to make my entire wedding party feel beautiful. I recently had to undergo brain surgery. The doctors had to shave part of my head and I was left with facial paralysis on my left side. As you can imagine, I’ve felt very self conscious of my appearance and worried about how I would look on my wedding day. Jessica and Cynthia were my guardian angels. Jessica did an incredible job with my updo. She managed to give me the look I always wanted! And you would have never known that part of my head was shaved for surgery. My hair not only looked gorgeous, but it stayed in place the entire night. Cynthia was a miracle worker when it came to my face. She was able to use her makeup skills in order to make my mouth and eyes look even. I was completely stunned by my appearance. I haven’t felt that beautiful in a long time. You have no idea how grateful I am to Bellelite. -

Bellelite blew me away. I don’t wear a lot of makeup, and had a bridal party with a variety of skin tones, hair types and lengths, and comfort with makeup. Our photographer, Masson Liang, suggested Bellelite. I trusted him, liked their Instagram, and thought Kai was fantastic on the phone. Still, I didn’t realize how nervous I was until the trial. Randy and Vilma did a phenomenal job, and I was blown away that that they were able to make me look so gorgeous and glam while still letting me feel like I looked like me! The whole team was amazing on the day of the wedding, and everyone looked amazing!! -

Bellelite is the best possible choice for a bride who wants to look the most beautiful on her wedding day without compromising her natural beauty. The team includes amazing professionals, so very talented and by your side every step of the way. The service is customized because no woman is the same, and the result is simply incredible. I don't think I've ever looked so good in my entire life! I'm not big on makeup and most of all I wanted to look like myself on my big day, with my freckles and all. And that's exactly what happened, my makeup artist enhanced my natural look to a level never seen before! For hairstyling, I wanted to keep my hair natural with all my curls. We found the perfect hairstyle and once again, the results were stunning! My bridal party and my mother were beautified by Bellelite as well and it was really worth the investment!! We all look so gorgeous! We are island women with different types of hair and complexion and Bellelite works with every woman, which is something I really loved about them. I strongly recommend this company to all bride out there who want the best of the best, la crème de la crème, for their wedding day. You just cannot go wrong with Bellelite! -

December Wedding in Miami
These girls were incredible! Always timely, in good spirits, and amazing at what they do. My bridesmaids and mother/mother in law said it was the best hair and makeup they've ever had professionally done. I would highly recommend Bellelite! Definitely get the trial ahead of time so the wedding day makeup/hair look goes smoothly (i did the trial and it really helped me feel secure with my vision and the team) -

my daughter and I had our hair and makeup done with bellelite for my daughters quinceñera. I was extremely impressed with everything they had to offer.. Kai was my contact person who was so incredibly wonderful with us I even invited her to our event! .. she went above and beyond to make sure we felt like every detail would be taken cared of.. her staff was AMAZING, Marabel did our hair and makeup and she was EVERYTHING you would want!! She was kind, patient and professional.. not to mention super talented!! Everyone at the event kept asking me who did our makeup and hair.. I will forever use them for any upcoming events I may have.. super grateful to have had them take care of us on such a special day, they truly made it that much more magical.. -

Excellent, from start to finish
Bellelite is the most professional, comprehensive beauty squad in South Florida. They responded quickly, every time, and sent incredible artists to me for a trial and for the wedding day. I wanted a really natural look and was worried that no one in Miami would be able to do it. They gave me a beautiful, understated, timeless look and I am so glad! They are perfectly punctual and did an absolutely flawless job. I recommend them to anyone who is getting married in South Florida! -

We had such an amazing experience with the team from Bellelite. My hair and make-up trial went extremely well, and my stylist gave me some great tips to plan ahead of the big day. Fast forward to our wedding date, the whole team was on time (even though we started pretty early!) and did a great job pacing to get everyone done ahead of schedule, with some leftover time for touch ups. The photos of myself and the bridal party are absolutely stunning. Everyone's hair and make-up held up in the Miami heat ahead of our ceremony for photos. The ladies were so sweet and friendly, we had so much fun getting ready. Would definitely recommend! -

I debated writing this review because I don’t like shaming small businesses, but I did not have a good experience for my bridal hair and makeup (which every bride deserves) and I’m still not over it months later. It’s a lot to sum up but here we go…
First it was so hard to get in touch, I had to follow up constantly just to book. Although the woman who did my hair/makeup was a lovely person, she did not follow my inspo or verbal feedback for clean makeup and insisted that “it’s just how the colors in your inspo look on you.” I wanted a light and natural glam, but ended up with full, cookie-cutter bridal glam, a look which I am not a fan of. She also was not able nail my hair inspo either, and I looked like I was wearing a men's toupee. I also ended up doing my own eyebrows on day of the wedding because I didn't like how painted on they looked in my trial.
And because the trial was a complete disaster (and they wanted me to pay for an additional trial, which I passed on), my wedding day was essentially another trial. She spent 85% of the time working on my maid of honor despite my vocal concerns about time, and I ended up with only ~45 min for my hair and makeup…can you imagine, on your wedding day!! I wasn’t able to take proper bridal beauty shots because we didn’t have time, and it set into motion the whole day running behind, which resulted in me not getting enough time for photos. When you’re paying an insane amount of money for photographer and videographer, this is heartbreaking.
Makeup was slightly better than the trial though not what I envisioned, and she assured me her updos last all day. One hour later, pieces were falling down and I looked disheveled in my photos. I hated my makeup in my photos and had to have them photoshopped. I even had close friends comment on how my makeup just wasn’t me, and I didn’t feel my absolute best.
A horrible experience for a bride and for a price tag of $1100+. I would have been better off doing my own hair and makeup.Bellelite's reply:

The company was founded to provide makeup and hairstyling for women of all colors, races, skin tone, hair types and textures. Further, there is a specific emphasis on providing beautiful, natural, and timeless artistry. It is our mission to create looks that are delicate yet stunning and truly transcend through each era.
Although turning a profit is key for any business, our primary goal is to provide all of our clients with an experience that is stellar and second to none. This is our priority! It is personally fulfilling to all of us when we are able to hit the nail on the head in terms of the looks and when our clients are overcome with joy because of the artistry that we have provided. If this was not the case for you, this is not only heartbreaking for us, but also disappointing that we were unable to make your wedding day dreams a reality.
Unfortunately, we were unaware of the fact that you were not happy with the results, as we did not receive any communication about the wedding day looks after the wedding took place. The last email received is dated as of 4/20/2022 (prior to the wedding date) and it was strictly related to confirmation surrounding the logistics. The review which is shy of 11 months to the date of the wedding happens to be the first time that we were alerted of any issues. Had any form of communication been made prior to today's date, our team would have gone above and beyond to make sure that we addressed the situation firsthand because again our clients are the priority, not the profits received.
Leading up to the trial, there was significant issues with the email system which was unfortunate, but outside of our control and something that we looked into thoroughly with IT.
Post the trial taking place, our initial communication suggested that you were happy with the results which was synonymous with the artist's feedback and confirmed via email from you. Upon completion of the services, artists are required to submit all photographs and notes. We received the following images from the artist on the day of your wedding which have been attached.
Please note that the images shared of your look were aligned with the Great Gatsby / Studio 54 Dance theme requested including a dark lip and the Bella Hadid hairstyle. Unfortunately, we were not asked to provide a very natural look in any emails or telephone communication as the vision was aiming towards the "dance era" which calls for slightly more glam. Given that our approach is more of a lighter touch in regards to hair and makeup, we did however make sure to remain a subtle as possible in terms of the foundation and colors used. Our goal was to replicate the pictures in your mood board as shown below. Based on your email, you did indicate that you had concerns surrounding your hair length which would have an affect on the overall style; however, we were able to address such concerns and the bun was styled and appeared full as requested. Please note that the look requested by you was that of the Bella Hadid updo shared by you days before the wedding and included as your official "wedding day guide".
In regards to the correspondence, we were more than willing to switch artists in the event that you preferred to try someone different; however, you preferred to move forward with the same individual. You then requested to have the artist arrive early on the day of the wedding in order to iron out the look and try different styles, which we were more than happy to do at no extra cost, because again we wanted to make sure that you were ecstatic about the look. In the event that a client is not happy with the results of a trial, we are more than happy to work on a new trial or amend the team and have no issues offering a complimentary or discounted trial; however, this occurs in the event that the artist provided sub-par work. Based on your initial feedback and our internal review, this was not the case. We understand that after our clients actually see the look that they have chosen as their wedding day hair and makeup style on themselves, the vision or direction may change. This is perfectly okay and understandable as inspiration images are to be used as a guide and the point of the trial is to try out different looks; however, at the end of the trial the feedback was initially positive.
In regards to the cost of the services, we do understand that we are not at the lower range when compared to the industry; however, we remain very much aligned with our peers when compared to the overall fees. Our rates are considered mid tier pricing within the market given our desire to maintain a certain level of quality in regards to our staff, services, and products utilized. The total price that you quoted in the wedding wire review is all encompassing, including a trial, travel fees, gratuity, day of wedding hair and makeup for yourself along with an additional service appointment for an additional client.
Timing is a significant component of our business model and as such, we embed cushions for every wedding on our books in order to avoid delays. In your case, we arrived 1 hour prior to the official call time in order to provide time for the artist to amend the looks per your request. We were not made aware of any delays after the wedding.
Again, our primary focus is to make sure that our clients including our brides receive stellar services. A negative experience is not taken lightly and given that this is a first for the company, it would be great to connect and discuss further if your schedule permits. -
