They were so amazing and helpful!

Bella's was amazing. The team helped me find my dress and were knowledgeable. They understood it was overwhelming and helped me deal with that during the process. The alterations department was also amazing and did my alterations perfectly to fit my body.

Excellent experience from start to finish

I came to Bella's on a tight budget, with a very specific style/look of dress in mind. The girls were able to find me the exact dress of my dreams on the friggin clearance rack!! Eek! Only one problem... The dress was a size 12 and I am a size 4. Fortunately, their seamstress is an absolute magician (along with being very sweet and a pleasure to work with). She was able to alter my (very lacey) dress to lay perfectly and fit my every curve. This whole process took 6 (or maybe 7?) alterations, but she was so patient and just as concerned with getting it perfect as I was. I would be willing to pay much more for a dress just to get to use her for alterations. Everyone who works here is very sweet and accommodating. What an excellent experience!

Best Bridal Boutique!

I loved my experience at Bella’s! They have a HUGE selection of dresses of all different styles! My consultant, Carolyn, was so sweet and patient with me and my guests. We had the best time popping champagne when I found “the one”! I highly recommend!

Dream Wedding Dress Shopping Come True!

I cannot say enough good things about Bella's Bridals! I went to 2 other bridal salons and had terrible experiences from the tiny dressing rooms and crowded waiting areas where strangers were looking at me walk out in dresses. Bella's was the total opposite. Each dressing room has a private sitting area for your guests so it's far more intimate. My consultant was Ashley and she was so sweet and helpful. Even when I wanted to think on a dress and come back after lunch, she didn't mind one bit! When I came back to try on the dress I was thinking about, she helped me try on several accessories until I found a look I loved. So glad I went to Bella's!

LOVE Bella's! I bought all of my prom dresses from here and I knew I would get my wedding dress from here! Carol was amazing from the beginning! She let me try on everything I wanted to! I described the dress I wanted and she pulled the perfect dress! rom the minor alterations I had to cleaning it before and after my wedding, Bella's has been amazing! Because I purchased my dress from here my girls were able to get a small discount on their bridesmaids dresses! They worked with me to get all the girls sized and ordered their dresses in a great amount of time to get them here. overall exceptional quality dresses and service!

Bella's was the third store I visited, after two disappointing visits to other stores in Birmingham. I loved the experience I had at Bella's, and had a hard time choosing a dress because I liked so many! They offer great pricing and a huge range of styles. The store associates were nice, friendly, helpful, and non-judgmental. I wanted to wait until after alterations to review, and we ended up having a great experience with alterations as well. Both I (the bride) and my mom bought and had our dresses altered here, and we were very happy with the results.

Bella's Bridal provided such a wonderful wedding dress experience. My consultant was Darelle and she was so fabulous. I had an idea of what kind of gown I wanted, but everything I had chosen just wasn't making me jump for joy. Darelle told me she had a dress in mind and when I tried it on, it was PERFECT! I am so glad that she was able to pick up on what I liked and disliked about each dress and recommend a dress that turned out to be "the one". I would highly recommend Bella's!

Bella's Bridal is the best dress shop in the Birmingham area, hands down! They were recommended by a friend who had just gotten married. Carolyn was my bridal consultant and she helped me find my dress in the 3rd one I tried on! She gave great recommendations and picked out a blush dress for me that I would have never considered because I thought I had to have an ivory dress. We had to postpone our wedding for a year so they were very understanding about me picking it up and bringing it back later for alterations. The seamstresses at Bella's are also amazing! I had been very consumed in wedding planning that I forgot to get my dress altered sooner than later. My mom and I went to Bella's 2 weeks before my wedding (which is NOT a recommended time frame, ladies!) to have my dress taken in and let out in all the right places, and the train was also bustled. It ended up being done 5 days before the wedding and was a perfect fit!

I would recommend going to Bella's Bridal to any of my friends. I got my dress and my bridesmaids dresses at Bella's and the experience was fantastic. The staff is friendly and competent with what they do. There is enough space that brides are not on top of each other trying on dresses. We all said yes to the dress at Bella's!

Great experience here! They have a great selection for every girls' style and dress shape! The prices were reasonable and I thought the value was fantastic. Darelle was the specialist that helped me pick out my dress. I would recommend her when you go in / make your appointment! She was amazing! She was professional, helped pick out dresses for my style and body shape, she was respectful and extremely patient. It felt like she was having as much fun as we were! I'd definitely recommend stopping here during your dress search!

Bella's was wonderful! All in one day I found my wedding dress and my bridesmaids! They set the dates for measurements and payments for my bridesmaids and went over everything with me. Their dresses are beautiful! They were so helpful and listened to what I wanted that I tried on only five dresses till I found the perfect one! They also can change anything on a dress that you want to make it perfect just for you!

Bella's bridal is absolutely amazing. I first bought my wedding dress from them and it was a wonderful experience. Then the place I ordered my bridesmaids dresses from fell through and Bella's was able to order them. Not only were they able to order them, but they went above and beyond to serve us and do their best to make it as easy on us as possible. I had a great experience with them.

From the moment I walked in the door, the staff at Bella's made me feel like I was their #1 bride. They were super attentive and gave honest opinions. The girls at Bella's were not pushy like at other bridal salons I had visited and never made me feel rushed. They were so easy to work with and I got my beautiful dress at a fabulous price! Great women to work with. I went on a very busy Saturday but got full attention by my consultant. Was able to find the perfect dress and under my budget. Would recommend to anyone on a small budget or looking for quick turn around on a dress.

I had a great experience at Bella's. Carolyn was extremely helpful in helping me find my dream dress on the first visit! She put me in a style I didn't initially want, because she thought it would look beautiful --- well, I started crying (happy tears!) as soon as I looked in the mirror and said yes to the dress!!! Rita was awesome at alterations and was able to help me get my dress done quickly to have it for my bridal shoot. A very welcoming environment! I would highly recommend to any bride to be!

Bella's Bridal & Formal has a wide variety of weeding dresses. I felt like a princess trying on all the dresses. The customer service was out of this world! She actually helped me make my final decision on the dress I chose. I was completely happy with it and the alterations I had to get done. Really Great

These ladies were really amazing. Due to a series of unfortunate events, we needed a wedding dress in 4 days. They got us in right away, treated us well during the appointment, and had the dress we picked fitted in time.
We had tried 2 other places before Bella's, and did not enjoy the brief and very rude experiences. It was a relief to explain what we needed and be helped rather than chastised for our very short time frame.
They had a wide range of options available, and I can only assume that pool would expand if your time frame allows you to order something. We didn't have an opportunity to compare their prices with anyone else, so I have no clue if we got a deal or overpaid.

I recently found the dress of my dreams. This beautiful bridal shop (seriously, you have your own fitting area with a cute little couch and such and great lighting) has the most unique and gorgeous dresses around. If you're thinking somewhat out of the box and a dress unlike any other, go here!

After trying on multiple dresses that I thought I would look good in, I tried on one that was suggested by the girl helping me. I loved it and ended up choosing that one! Walking down the aisle, I actually heard a guest say, "Oh my, that dress is amazing!"

When I first got engaged back in 2010, I did what any other bride does and went out and bought the Brides magazine! I was flipping through the magazine and came across an advertisement for this gorgeous dress! I had to have it. I looked the designer up on line (Essense of Australia) and at the time there was only one shop that sold there dresses in AL and that was Bella's. So, I called them and they said they had the exact dress I found in the magazine and I was sold. I lived about an hour away, but my mom lived about 3.5 hours away from the store. So, I wanted to wait until my mom could drive up and go with me try it on bc I wanted the whole mom/daughter wedding dress experience. So a month or so goes by and we finally decide to go try on the dress. I call Bella's and set up a appointment and tell them which dress I want to try on and they confirm that they still have the dress there. Well, the day finally arrives and we go to try on the dress. We get there and they are obviously very busy and we didn't get help for about 20 min. I am walking through looking at dresses and I can't find "the dress". Finally, a sales consultant comes to help and they spend like another 15 min looking for the dress. I am about to cry. 35 min of my appt was spent looking for the dress that me and my family just drove approx 3 hours to see. They finally find the dress and it turns out the sample had been sold.. So, it was right in front of me and I couldn't even try it on bc another bride had already put money down on it. I was devastated. That is why I gave them 4 stars. I was told twice they had the dress and twice that if I came I would get to try it on and they end up selling it. But, despite all my negative emotions I decide to make the best of it and try on other dresses. I stick to the designer I love and try on probably 5 or 6 dresses. Nothing is impressing me bc my heart is still with the other dress. The sales consultant brings me one last dress and I try it on. I am in love.

I had a small window to be able to find my wedding dress. I live in Washington, but my parents and I were visiting my sister, who lives in Birmingham, for the holidays, and I knew it would be the only time to try on dresses with both my mom and my sister. We had tried making appointments at 2 other stores. One said they were closed the entire week of Christmas and the other ended up having a water main break and their store was ruined. It took me a while to find Bella's because I kept confusing them with Bella Couture (who was closed all week). When we called and made the appointment, they were extremely helpful. The day of our appointment, there ended up being a huge storm and they kept the store open late just for us because we couldn't go in until my sister got off work. We were the only people in the store and they were fantastic, letting me look around and try on whatever I want. They even picked out some great dresses for me to try on and perfect accessories to complement the dresses. I would definitely recommend going to Bella's Bridal and Formal, they were wonderful to work with and made my first wedding activity a great one!

I originally went to Bella's Bridal because there was a specific wedding dress that I had found online that I wanted to try on, and had found that Bella's carried the dress. Personally, I had a really great experience at this boutique. I came in with an entourage of my friends and mom, and I had a very nice and helpful assistant that helped me try on 7-8 different dresses. She was extremely patient and sweet about finding veils to match each dress, and laughed along with my girlfriends while I pranced around in each dress. It was a great experience, and I actually ended up buying the dress that I had originally gone in to try on. The dress came in on time, and they had done such a wonderful job with the measurements that my dress needed NO alterations at all when it arrived! Talk about stress-free wedding dress shopping!

My bridesmaids all ordered their dresses from Bella's as well, and to my knowledge almost all of them had good experiences as well. Their dresses looked great, and alterations were done quickly and accurately. I know that my MOH had a bit of a rough time with Bella's - for some reason her dress was ordered incorrectly, and then alterations were a huge hassle, but ultimately she was able to get a discount on her dress because of all the trouble that she went through.

Overall, I would recommend this vendor to anyone.

I got my wedding dress, an Essense of Australia, and my veil at Bella's. I was referred to Bella's by a former Miss Alabama, so it came highly recommended to me. I loved Bella's selection, and found my dream dress. The overall experience was very relaxed but also organized and formal enough to make you feel so special. I had "the moment" in my dress once I realized it was the one, and I got to celebrate with all of my female family members and champagne. I ordered my dress and veil in August 2017, and I picked both up from the store in November 2017. Everything came in correctly, and the entire process was smooth. Thank you Bella's!

We were looking for a specific design line for my daughter's wedding dress, and Bella's carried it, so we made an appointment. Although the store was very busy, we were treated courteously and didn't have to wait long. Our attendant was FANTASTIC! Very enthusiastic and helpful, she made suggestions for how a dress could be altered to make my daughter more comfortable. She didn't bat an eye at our modest budget, but searched the store for dresses in the style and price range we needed. Although my daughter didn't find The Dress at Bella's, we had a wonderful experience and will definitely go back if she doesn't find something she falls in love with.

The girl who helped me was amazing! I described to her what I was looking for and she said she knew the perfect dress. As soon as she brought it back to me, I put it on and it was definitely perfect. I ended up buying that dress! Great customer service

I enjoyed going to Bella's. My consultant was amazing - she found out what my likes were and my budget and made a point of finding me dresses that fit into both. She only pulled dresses above my budget if I specifically asked to try them on. I never felt pressured or rushed - things ran at the speed they needed to. She was even able to find the exact veil I was looking at so I could try it on with my dress.

I made an appt. back in March while my mom was on Spring Break. We tried on a few dresses. They don't carry a lot of different sizes so we had to visualize how the dresses may look on me. I found "The Dress" and they accepted military discount. I chose my dress on my first visit they gave me a $100 credit towards anything in the store :-) My dress came in a month earlier than they originally told me. That wasn't necessarily a bad thing but, I had to get the money to pay for it because they claim they couldn’t hold it for more than 2 weeks. Angela my Rep. was very helpful and attentive. Even when she wasn't available someone always asked us if we needed help. The in store seamstress was sweet and her alteration prices were affordable.

I love Bella's. My experience at Bella's was great. They provided great customer service and my dress was great quality and I absolutely loved my dress. I would definitely recommend Bella's to any future bride, I was sad when I didn't have to come back anymore. Great team of women..

I definitely did not expect to find so many quality wedding gowns at such reasonable prices! Great selection of styles and designers at all price points. Smaller veil selection, but it helped to bundle everything and they were very responsive and helpful throughout the decision process! Carolyn is great!

Sales consultant was very helpful, but did not pin the dresses on me very well. It was very difficult to tell how the dresses fit because they were so large. Do not go on a Saturday because the shop was very crowded and they were understaffed and we were all very overwhelmed.

I had a great experience as a Bride at Bella's. I enjoyed how they let you choose dresses to try on, instead of picking them for you. It helped a lot and made me more comfortable than previous places I had visited. My two complaints are: they won't let you take pictures of dresses until you choose one and they aren't as friendly if you go to look about bridesmaids dresses. It's strictly just a place I would get my bridal dress and for that it is pretty great!

If I had written this after my dress buying appointment, I would have given them 5 stars. However, be cautious with the fitting! I walked in to get my dress and they started doing my fitting before I could even get a word in. The alterations person mumbled and I never quite understood what she was saying. The whole time I felt like I was the one who was supposed to know what was going on, but I've never been married before, so how was I supposed to know? It was a ver frustrating experience, and I've had to make a few calls to get everything from that appointment straightened out. I love my dress and veil, but make sure you know what you're doing when you go to a fitting!

Dress was very slow coming in and the communication as bad. Alterations were wrong first time.

Although my dress was beautiful. The service at this small boutique was not great. And no one made an attempt to notify me that my dress would arrive 3 weeks later than the original date. Overall I was not happy.

I got the most beautiful wedding dress here. The day we found it everyone at the store was so nice and helpful, the owner was so great and even helped pick out other items including my bridesmaids dresses. Those were perfect and after the owner even helped with getting them shipped to all of my girls out of town. After I purchased my dress and the other dresses however the service went downhill. Some of the people that work at this store are not very professional. My girls had a very hard time when it cam to calling about payments on the dresses and I was very bothered by the fact that I kept receiving calls to help them take care of things when I was told they would handle it all. When it came time for my fittings they started out fine until I showed up the day before we were leaving for my wedding for my dress and to my surprise my dress was not even in the store. I had to return to the store 4 hours later and it ruined my entire day. After returning and trying on my dress it looked like it had been in a sewing room for weeks there were strings all over it, after I thought everything was all over with and I was leaving with my dress, I found a tear on the back. We were there for hours while I was hysterical and the ladies tried to fix it. I was very unhappy that I pair $150 for alterations and had to go through such a ordeal with it. When I got back from my wedding I thought it was so nice that they had sent me a coupon towards getting my dress preserved for $25 come to find out they give that to all brides towards the $200 cost. Something more should have been done to acknowledge what I had to go through the day before leaving for my wedding.

My dress from Bella's was absolutely beautiful. The sample size that I tried on was the perfect fit so not knowing anything about bridal dresses this is the size I ordered. The lady working that day did not inform me that the sample dresses tend to stretch after many people trying them on. Therefore, when my dress came back and I had my first fitting the dress was extremely too small. Bella's proceeded to tell me that it was my fault that I did not order the right size. They wanted to take no blame for the situation. So I will not be spending anymore of my money at Bella's. Although there was a lady that worked there by the name of Laura, I do believe, and she was very helpful after that incident she was the only one I would deal with there when getting my dress altered.

My experience was nothing short of a nightmare. I came for my second fitting, my dress was too short, stained, one side taken in, and all I got in return was free alterations. Their second alterations employee fixed my dress, which ended up having some ripples that could not be fixed. After bringing my dress home after being steamed, the veil was missing. I was told on the phone that they "thought" they had found it. It was a mess. I guess that is what you get when high school girls are handling $3k wedding dress details.

I would recommend that you get your dress elsewhere. The trouble began when I needed to get the dress altered. The seamstress took my initial measurements and I returned a month later for my first fitting. At my first fitting no alterations had been done. The dress had to be taken up, hemmed, lace added to the back and a sash attached. She explained that the lace had not come in so they were waiting for it. She assured me that she would get working on it right away and that the dress would be completed on time. I returned a week later with my mother and with my shoes and accessories to try the dress on again. The dress had been hemmed but no lace added, it had not been taken up and the sash was not added. Again I was told that it would be fixed, still waiting on lace etc. I gave them 3 more weeks-one week prior to my wedding to have the dress completed. I returned the week before my wedding and lace had been added but not in the manner that was discussed. The dress was taken up but was tighter than expected but the top was still too big and the sash was not added. I talked to the manager and explained to her that I live almost 2 hours away. I had been there 3 times already for alterations and my dress was still not ready. She apologized and assured me that they would fix it and I could pick it up on Wed. She did agree to cover the cost of the alterations after I had complained about the service. The Wed before my wedding I went to pick the dress up but did not have time to try the dress on it. The sash was added and I assumed she had fixed the top. Thursday when I tried my dress on I could not even get into it. Mind you I had just tried it on 4 days before. At this point I am over 3 hours away from the shop and 2 days away from my wedding. The manager offered to come get the dress to fix it but I did not trust them to do anything right at this point. The whole experience left me stressed and I feel that it could have been prevented or at least handled better.

You can't get service. You'll be standing there for 20 minutes without having anyone acknowledge your existence. They will purposely fit you for you for the wrong size to make more money. This place is a fraud!!!

WHEN WE WENT TO GET FITTIED FOR THE DRESS WE HAD CONCERNS. THEY put MY DAUGHTER IN A SIZE 8 DRESS AND SHE HAS ALWAYS WORE A 4, WHEN WE LEFT THE STORE WE WENT BACK AFTER WE GOT DOWN THE ROAD. TO MAKE SURE THE SIZE WAS RIGHT. THEY.SAID YES. THEN AFTER ABOUT 6 MONTHS AFTER THE DRESS CAME IN . WE WENT TO TRY ON THE DRESS. THEN AGAIN WE WERE WORRIED ABOUT THE DRESS. IT WAS WAY TO BIG AND SHORT. THEY HAD TO TAKE UP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DRESS WHICH MADE IT EVEN SHORTER. I even call them to talk about the dress and my worries but was told it would be ok. the day we went to get the dress after we had been put off cause they were behind on prom alterations. now it two weaks till the wedding and we go to get the wedding dress. I Was so upset asked to speak to the manager. said she was not there working at another job.said she would call and still to this day no one has called. so that tells you if they care or not if we of happy or not. When we first went in to look at dress could not have been any nicer, could not do enough. Look out after you pay!!!!!!! wont even offer to help try on the dress after its been alterated. some of her brides maid had to go in, to get there shoes and they said they were very rude!! Its a shame to pay this musch for a dress and it to short and they dont care they got there money. and they also get you with the alterations one her brides maids paid 175.00 for the dress and had to pay 125.00 for alteration she wore 18 and put her in a 24, You dont pay this much money for a wedding dress to be to short. And thank you Laura Arececo for not even calling us. I would like to talk to the store owner Carol Riney but I wont hold my breath!!! have a good day,

Truly horrible customer service. Brides, please do not put your out-of-town bridesmaids through the pain and misery of ordering from these people. Their customer service is terrible. When ordering my dress over the phone, the lady would not let me order a size 2 dress instead insisting that i am a 4. While it may be your policy not to force anyone to order a certain dress size, you may want to remind your employees. The lady ordered me a size 4 dress because my "chest is a 0, waist a 2 and hips a 4." If the associate would have taken the time to note the style of the dress, she clearly would've realized the insignificance of the size of hips because the dress is flowy. It is customary for sizing recommendations to be based off of measurements IN ADDITION TO the fit of the dress. If the associate would have done due diligence and noted the fit of the dress, I would not have had to pay an additional $98 in alterations. Truly horrible customer service for forcing me into the wrong dress size despite my objections! .Additionally, they do not send you any confirmation email, text etc. so you can confirm your order and size. Ridiculous. Perhaps their customer service is good if you are the bride but they certainly don't attend to anyone else.

I never felt welcome here. When we first walked in excited to look at dresses we were assigned a consultant and she just sat and watched me put on dresses and pull my own dresses. Once I decided on one dress that I absolutely loved we came back for a fitting and they didn't have my name in their system. For my final fitting I walked in, this is 2 weeks before my wedding, they inform me that they haven't even started altering my dress and asked to come back at a later date. From start to finish my experience was terrible! I wouldn't suggest my worst enemy go here to get their wedding dress! I can say the dress and veil were both beautiful.
