  Hire Maya and BellaRu Catering

  Maya and her team are amazing. The food was outstanding. Everyone is raving about it. Maya worked with what we wanted in our budget. She got me from day 1 and was an absolute joy the whole time. She and her team are the reason my wedding day was such a joy. All I had to do was put on a dress. She did everything else and all my guests are raving about the wedding.

  Great experience with BellaRu for our wedding!

  Maya and her team helped with the catering for our wedding and we were so happy with how it turned out! They got involved last minute and even so, were able to make all of the logistics work and allow for the day to run smoothly. Maya asked all of the right questions as were planning to make sure we had thought through all of the details and then executed it all perfectly on the wedding day. Would recommend Bella Ru for any event!

  Fabulous!!

  Great food, service and presentation. Had a small party and everything was on point. I didn’t have to worry about anything. The food was tasty and delicious, the presentation was lovely and the service was excellent. Couldn’t have asked for more!

  Best catering company ever.

  This was one of the best experiences I have ever had. The owner, Maya, was wonderful to work with. Why anyone would choose another catering company is beyond me. Phenomenal menu choices.

  Outstanding

  I am SO HAPPY that I was able to find this catering company. Maya was incredible to work with and the wait staff was fantastic.
  Maya worked with me only a few weeks before my wedding as I had to make location changes. She was quick to respond and was able to create a FULLY gluten free menu for us for 3 day. All 3 days there was something different on the menu. I was so impressed with the selections she chose and the of course to food was delicious.
  
  The staff that BellaRu sent Richie and Hugo were amazing. Very responsive, flexible and man did they get everything that I asked for done! They were everything you could ask for and more.
  
  VERY grateful to this company for the amazing service they provided and for a fair price.

  A+ wedding experience

  Our wedding last weekend was a great success in part thanks for Maya and her crew at Bella Ru! Everyone seemed to love the food (including thesteak, which is tricky!), from apps to dessert. We also got great feedback about the bar staff. Maya already had a relationship with our venue, so everything was super smooth and she was on top of everything and very responsive with our communications leading up to the wedding.

  I HIGHLY recommend BellaRu for ANY event!

  I am SO GLAD I found BellaRu! Maya is the BEST! She went above and beyond! My wedding could not have been as awesome if it weren't for her. She is SO MUCH MORE than a caterer!! We had horsd'oevres that were served, prime rib, tuscany chicken, vegtables, potatoes and a gorgeous dessert table. There was not a kitchen at my venue and Maya knew exactly how to handle it. She was unbelievable and the food was out of this world! The staff was phenomenal... I just cannot say enough!!!

  BellaRu Crew is the Greatest!

  Bride: I would not be married today if it was not for Maya at BellaRu catering. A bride's worst nightmare came true when our wedding venue cancelled on us two weeks before our wedding date. Maya was so much more than a caterer, she was a wedding planner, florist, everything in between, and a friend. Maya did everything in her power to make our wedding one that we could be proud of. She went to great lengths to accommodate us and our original menu. The food was PHENOMENAL. Our guests were beyond pleased, and the desert was delicious. I cannot thank Maya enough for truly bending over backwards for my husband and I. We truly owe our whole day to her. BellaRu is without a doubt the best caterer you can chose.
  
  
  
  Mother of the Bride: BellaRu is the greatest. They came through for us in a very short amount of time 1 1/2 weeks!! Due to my daughters wedding venue being cancelled in the suburbs Maya and her crew stepped in to give my daughter the most tremendous wedding experience. Tons of complements from the guests about the food and service. Everything was perfect! Maya and her crew even stepped in when the florist did not do the table arrangements that my daughter had agreed to. As soon as Maya caught wind that there was a problem she started making the tables centerpieces into what my daughter had expected to see. Maya did not have to do that at all. She had enough to do with all her own arrangements to be made with food and service. I highly recommend this caterer for any occasion.

  Amazingly tasty food

  The food prepared by BellaRu is incredibly tasty and so fresh tasting. Everything at the tasting was amazing, that it made it hard to narrow it down. I can't wait until the wedding to have more!

  BellaRu catered a party at our home for 35 persons.

  BellaRu was very professional and cheerful. The food was delicious. At the end, they cleaned up everything and quietly left. I would use them again without any reservation.

  BellaRu catered my son’s outdoor wedding.

  BellaRu catered my son’s wedding and they were very professional, full service, high quality, and the food was delicious! We received so many compliments from our guests on the food and service. I would definitely hire this company again.

  Staff is friendly, easy to work with, and the attention to detail is incredible! Used for a corporate event but would highly recommend for any wedding/party/get together. Food is beyond any expectation and arrived promptly on time, hot items piping hot, cold items ice cold. Desserts - AMAZING. Vast number of food items are offered based on cuisine/theme. Our chosen meals were absolutely delicious and we will definitely use BellaRu again!

  Maya takes care of everything and makes sure you special day is about and beyond your dreams. Maya and her staff were very professional and so helpful and wonderful. I could not have selected a better cater and would HIGHLY recommend them!

  The good, the bad, the ugly

  My wife and I got married in July and we used Bellaru as our catering service. This company gave me mixed feelings.
  
  When it came time for the wedding their team was efficient in getting things set up and getting food to guests.
  
  However the customer service, professionalism and integrity were seriously lacking. There were several examples in which guests were disrespected by staff. For instance, the grandmother and father of the bride asked for coffee creamer while coffee was being served and the owner said “—- in a hostile tone.
  
  In a walk through meeting a question was asked about guests being asked to move out of the way during a transition period and the company owner said “I’ll tell them to get their asses out of the way. This day is about the bride”. This put an uneasy feeling in both mine and my wife’s stomachs. Our guests are an extension of us. We do not appreciate them being disrespected.
  
  We had three meetings with the company owner, the first meeting was a tasting. She had prepared a totally incorrect menu for my wife and I. (I will say she did have a chef on site to prepare everything we asked for. This impressed us.) Our second meeting was very different. She was about 20 minutes late and then was uncomfortably hostile to the woman who owned the venue. The third meeting was the day of the wedding. She was late again which pushed everything back about 25 minutes.
  
  We paid more than 22,000 dollars to have Bellaru cater pizza to our wedding. Bellaru assured us that there would be leftovers of both pizza and desert but neither were to be found. Which is concerning since we had ordered an excess amount for our buffet. Nobody got seconds which raises the question “where did all that pizza go”? I cannot for sure say it was taken by the caterer, but servers were seen putting pizza boxes in there cars.
  
  I do not recommend this service to anyone who values their guests being treated respectfully.

  I apologize for any discomfort I, or my employees, may have caused you at your wedding in July of last year. That is certainly not how we operate and we are disheartened to read this review. Sometimes the spaces we work in are physically restricting for large crowds and our servers do have to do a delicate dance around people and food. That said, there is no excuse for rudeness from anyone. The extra pizza and dessert you requested was indeed given to your family. We do everything we can to meet the expectations of our Brides and Grooms AND the expectations of the venue. There was a strict policy in place at your venue for us to discard our waste off-site, so we did have to pack up all of the empty pizza boxes and remove them from the venue to be discarded at our facility. Perhaps that is what you saw.
  
  I’d like to offer you my apology in the form of a romantic dinner for you and your wife, personally cooked by me in my kitchen or one of my smaller venues. Please reach out to me directly to put a date on the calendar.
