Absolutely Amazing Service

I absolutely loved my shopping experience with Bella Bridal. This was the second dress shop I visited and found the perfect Martina Liana dress for my wedding without feeling pressured. Even though I found my dress 5 months before my wedding, I was able to get it ordered and alterations done in perfect timing. They were amazing!

I couldn’t get over how wonderful my experience was at Bella’s Bridal and a huge thanks to Hannah who helped me find my dream dress. Found my dream dress with AMAZING help

I absolutely loved the atmosphere at Bella Bridal! Hannah was so helpful, knowledgeable and sweet. All of the staff kicked in and helped which made it an even better experience. Everyone was so friendly and it felt like family, if I'm being honest. I would recommend to everyone! It was my first day looking for dresses and I chose the second dress that I tried on. Everyone there made me feel so beautiful and special! I'm so glad I went here!!

Dream dress

The team at Bella Bridal helped me find my dream dress! I booked an appointment with Bella because they carried Aire Barcelona dresses, and sure enough, the dress I chose was from that designer. My consultant knew exactly what I was looking for and the first dress ended up being the one. The reason I would highly recommended Bella though, is because my consultant took the time to understand what I was looking for but also explore just enough to be extra confident in my choice. The other dresses I tried on were also beautiful and exactly my style, but none of them ended up beating out the first dress. I also added a long cathedral trail from one of their trunk shows. Celeb Status Experience

The absolute BEST experience! Bella was my third shop in my dress hunt and by far blew everything else out of the water. I walked in and was greeted so welcoming - I really didn't know what I wanted, but had a few inspo photos that I did like. In the (2) images I showed that ladies they responded with, "we know just the thing"...well, that "thing" was the 2nd dress I tried on and the dress I ended up saying yes to.
These ladies made me feel like a celebrity! I felt so beautiful in anything I came out in and it was a fun fashion show with my mom and sister.
There was zero pressure on picking a dress! The ball was all in my court and they wanted to support however possible. I honestly feel like I made new friends that day and will forever carry this memory

Bella Bridal was AMAZING!!

I had a great experience at Bella Bridal! Everyone was super friendly and made you feel like a Queen. Bella Bridal was the second place I went to and I was struggling to find the perfect dress that I wasn't trying to reconstruct in someway. As soon as I walked into Bella Bridal, it was love at first sight and I ended up with the first dress I tried on there! They were all really helpful in creating the perfect look for my day. From the dress, to the hair piece, to the veil. Everything was perfect and I absolutely loved my Martina Liana dress! Pros to a covid wedding is that I get to wear this beautiful gown twice!

Amazing Service

This was the first wedding shop I visited and within the first 7 dresses I found the one. Everyone was amazing and helped out so much. My husband is in the military and was deployed when we started planning and then the coronavirus hit, but everyone in the store made sure I had what I needed by time I could finally have my wedding. The dress was to die for and the alterations were perfect!! Highly recommend them :)

Amazing staff!

I found my dress at Bella Bridal! This was the first place I went to try on dresses and I was a little nervous going in. However, the staff were all so friendly and very helpful!! Very organized, clean, and professional.

The nicest experience

Amazing Experience

I bought my wedding gown at Bella Bridal Gallery. I had an amazing experience here. The staff was very knowledgeable and truly listened to what I wanted in a bridal gown. They took into consideration my unique venue and wedding vision, to help me find the perfect gown for my big day! The owner was absolutely wonderful and truly wanted to meet each bride. When you buy a dress at Bella Bridal Gallery, you know that you are important to them. You are not simply another girl in another white dress at this salon, but they make you feel like family. The seamstress took extreme care to make sure my dress fit perfectly and looked flawless. I highly recommend starting your shopping here! You will not regret it!

A truly special experience

I sought out Bella Bridal to specifically try on Essence of Australia gowns. From first stepping foot in the door, to taking home my dress a few days before the wedding, Bella Bridal staff made me feel special, beautiful, and encouraged. I went in to try on gowns by myself (which I highly recommend!) and Marlene, who helped me find my dress, was patient and kind. When I found "the one" I was able to FaceTime my family in the store to show them. I ended up purchasing both my dress and veil in the store. I never felt pressured or forced to decide on anything--the staff were utmost professional. I had alterations done in store by Clara, a gem of a woman with vast seamstress gown experience. While the alterations were more pricey than I was expecting, the gown fit like it was made for my body and I didn't even need a bra because the top was so supportive and fit so well! I feel completely confident with my whole Bella Bridal experience. I was greeted with a smile every visit and sent appointment reminders. They truly get to know their brides and make you feel like family. Thank you Bella Bridal for helping me to feel like an absolute princess on my wedding day!

Amazing experience

Heather and the owner made it easy to find my dream dress. They were super friendly and helpful. They were honest and I had a lot of fun with them picking out my dress. Customer service is amazing and I look forward to going through them to get my dress altered and to get bridesmaid dresses! Heather was outstanding and I'm so happy I got to work with her :)

Bella Bridal and particularly Marlene was so very helpful in finding the wedding gown of my dreams. I had been to at least 10 other stores with no luck. I knew exactly what I was looking for and wasn’t willing to settle until I found it. I attended a Martina Liana trunk show at Bella Bridal and told Marlene exactly what I had in mind. She pulled a few dresses for me to try on- the first one I put on was it! I was so in love with my dress and got so many compliments on it. Clara, the seamstress was a pleasure to work with and is very talented. Because my dress shopping experience was so great I sent my bridesmaids there for their dresses- Marlene kept me informed throughout the whole process-calling me when the girls placed their orders and updating me when the gowns had arrived. The entire experience with Bella Bridal was stress free. I would recommended them to anyone!

Bella Bridal helped me find my dream wedding dress and the entire experience was a fairytale! After visiting multiple bridal shops, I had seen a few dresses that caught my eye, but nothing that felt like "the one." The team at Bella Bridal went the extra mile to understand what I was looking for and to select a number of different dresses for me to try on. I knew right when I walked into the store that Bella would be where I would find my dress. I love sparkle, lace, detail, and unique dresses. Bella had so many dresses for every style that could could be looking for, but what really struck me was the fact that they had so many detailed dresses that would truly make a statement on the wedding day! As predicted, I purchased my dress at Bella and found a veil and headpiece there as well! The entire experience was incredible! From the initial ordering of the dress to the fittings and other details, Bella goes above and beyond to make sure your dress and accessories are perfect! I would highly recommend Bella and am so thankful to them for such a memorable "say yes to the dress" experience!

The team at Bella Bridal was an absolute pleasure to work with. Their dress selection was beautiful and the staff was so willing to help to find the perfect one! Bella Bridal(associated Marlene) was so wonderful! It was the very first bridal shop I have ever went to! I found my perfect dress at Bella Bridal! They were very accommodating with my budget! I went to Maria's Bridal Salon before this and had a horrible experience with them to the point of me being in tears and not wanting to continue on with the dress hunt. We ended up going to Bella Bridal and they were WONDERFUL! They were respectful of our budget and really took their time with me. I tried on about 10 dresses and found my dress :) It was absolutely stunning and exactly what I was looking for :) All the ladies there were wonderful to work with and i would highly recommend them. I got married on NYE 2016 and the dress was perfect!

Bella Bridal went above and beyond to make the dress of my dreams become a reality. The amount of detail and attention put into my gown was more than I could've expected. The staff was a absolute dream to work with and the seamstress was amazing! The ordering process was very easy but the alterations process was even more of a breeze with the seamstress' expertise, I was beyond impressed from start to finish! When my wedding day came, I was so elated to put my gown on and by the end of the day I didn't want to take it off. A true dream experience through and through.

First I would like to start out by saying that my dress turned out absolutely stunning! Everyone complimented me and I felt like a true princess. Bella Bridal had been there for me from day one and never stopped letting me feel beautiful in my gown. From the very first time I stepped foot into Bella Bridal, I knew that you guys would be my dress shop. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything. My dream day was even more perfect with the perfect gown. I honestly wouldn't have changed a thing. I would vouch for this boutique and recommend it to everyone that I know and then some. I would not hesitate to recommend Bella's Bridal!! My daughter loved the first dress she tried on and ended up buying that one! The salon knew that my daughter was living in England and would not be in until the week before the wedding. They did not blink and eye and said they would make it work. My daughter had her first fitting the Monday before her wedding, and the second fitting the Wednesday before the wedding. The dress was magnificent!! Everyone in the salon was so accommodating, warm and bent over backwards to make us happy!! They made us feel like family! I will be there when my next daughter gets married!!!

For a small shop Bella Bridal delivers BIG. Sophia and her crew were so very helpful, always made us feel welcome. My daughter found the right dress, but never felt pressured to purchase. Clara tweaked the dress to be just what Katie wanted, the results were nothing less than spectacular!
I would highly recommend Bella Bridal to any bride. The atmosphere at the gallery is always upbeat and fun. Wonderful people to work with.

I couldn't be more thrilled with Bella Bridal. They have the best designers and made finding my dress so easy (FIRST one I tried on there!). They were VERY accommodating with scheduling fittings, very responsive, and did a wonderful job. The ladies there are always so welcoming and sweet.

Elise helped me a find a dress while I was sick and tired! She was so sweet and helpful. I thought there was no way that I would be able to enjoy the day or get through it feeling 'pretty' but Elise and the owner were SO helpful.

I felt like they weren't pulling the same 'EVERYTHING looks good on you' garbage that most sales people try. They were honest with me (which was exactly what I needed). They helped me find the best dress (after I had amazing experiences other places as well... I thought I had found 'the one' elsewhere).

The Martina Liana dress I picked was spectacular and the store owner and the seamstress (Clara) were a joy to work with, My Mom can be picky and a pain in the ass, yet they were GREAT with her. They even helped me convince her to 'leave the bustle alone' after the ceremony and not 'care if the dress gets dirty'. I really felt like they were all on my team. My Mom and I were so happy with all of their help. Alterations seemed impossible because of the lace details and the fact that I kept fluxuating- yet they made a PERFECT dress for me. I was really pleased with the entire experience, start to finish.

Got my stunning Martina Liana wedding dress from here and was absolutely delighted with the service. The staff were always honest, kind and professional. They were not just trying to make a sale and saying what you want to hear but instead really listened to your likes/dislikes and teamed up with me to find my dream dress.malterations were a little on the higher range, but their service was extraordinary and timely. Definitely recommend to check them out!

Bella bridal was by far my favorite shop I went in. I already had my dress picked out for months and was waiting for the trunk show, but once we got there they were very helpful and made me feel at ease. The fitting area isn't very private, but it wasn't very busy when I went in for fittings. Everyone I worked with was extremely nice and helpful, they really make you feel special and beautiful. I found shopping for my wedding dress to be very stressful, until I went to Bella Bridal. I felt at ease and comfortable with the bridal consultant. In no way did I feel pressured to purchase a dress form them. She listened to what I wanted and pulled a dress that met all of my qualifications, but was completely different than anything I had tried on before. I absolutely love my dress and I can't wait for my first fitting.

My time with the women at Bella Bridal was wonderful! The women there were kind and patient. I knew I wanted an Essence of Australia dress, and they were one of only two stores in Michigan who sold them. They shipped a sample of my dress into the store and allowed me to try it one there. It was perfect! Also, their seamstress is meticulous and affordable. I was able to keep my whole look in budget easily.

Gabriel was a dream to work with! I live in Arizona and ordered my dress from Bella because the price was amazing. The same designer dress was double the price in another store. I was a bit hesitant at first since I was out of state, but Gabriel was absolutely wonderful! Him and his wife were prompt in responding to me, they customized my order and helped me make changes with the designer, and even came in on their day off to accomodate my schedule! I can't say enough how much I would recommend them and their staff. On top of all of that, they carry some of the top designer brands that you can't find anywhere else. I'd give them 10 stars if I could!

Heather at Bella Bridal Gallery helped me picked out my wedding gown. When I arrived, I was not sure what style of dress I wanted and she was amazing at finding the perfect gown for my body type…and while I tried on several gowns, it was the first dress that I tried on that I purchased. During the buying process, I was not rushed or pushed into purchasing a gown, which made my experience very pleasant. I received countless compliments on my gown and I am extremely happy with the service I received from everyone at Bella Bridal Gallery.

The team at Bella Bridal is fantastic. They helped me find the perfect dress (which I was struggling with before going to Bella). The girls there were fabulous at helping me work on my entire look. The seamstress was impeccable and the dress fit like a glove after alterations.
I decided to wear my mom's veil and they worked with me to sew loops into it so I could wear it- helpful all around.

Great team and beautiful selection of dresses.

Bella Bridal is FANTASTIC! Sonia, Heather, and Jessie have all helped me greatly! I was recommended by a friend and went in to try on dresses, Heather pulled 5 that she thought would look good on me and as soon as I put on the second dress I knew it was the one! In the same day we found our bridesmaid dresses. About a month after purchasing my dress I returned to Bella for a trunk show where I also purchased a veil, headpiece, and earrings. They have a HUGE selection of just about anything and everything you can imagine. My dress just came in last week and immediately the ladies called to let me know it was in and even made time for me to come in THAT SAME DAY to try it on! They are so incrediably accomadating its spectacular. All the staff refers to you by name as soon as you enter the store which is VERY professional and thoughtful. I would recommend to my family, friends, and anyone else looking for a bridal gown/bridesmaid dresses to go to BELLA BRIDAL! I've had a wonderful experience and cannot imagine going anywhere else. I bought my wedding dress from Bella Bridal Gallery. It was an amazingly beautiful dress, and they did a fantastic job with the alterations. It fit me perfectly, and the bustle was easy to use! They had a nice selection of dresses to choose from. I also got my earrings, veil and hair comb from them as well. There were a lot of options to pick from, and it was nice to try everything on with the dress in order to make sure everything went well together.

This store is a must for your bridal needs! I went in there to look for my dress, and I had tried on over 100. Sonia, the owner, helped me turn a dress I liked into the dress I love. We worked together throughout the year to create my perfect vision of my dress through custom alterations. Her staff did an amazing job on my dress, and I received so many compliments. Sonia always remembered me when I came in the store, and greeted me with a smile, and tons of support. Her prices are very affordable for the level of service you receive. Please visit this store for your wedding dress, you won't regret it!

I had gone to one store and had the worst experience of my life with the staff. I was feeling so discouraged to the point of being scared to try on more dresses. I then found Bella Bridal online and made an appointment. I walked in so nervous but as soon as I was greeted by the amazing friendly staff I was excited. The store is very well organized and has an amazing selection. My bridal consultant was so helpful and fun, She brought out many dresses that were exactly what I had described and wanted! I tried on 6 and found my dream dress. I was so happy and absolutely loved my experience at Bella Bridal. I even returned for their headpiece and veil trunk show and had yet another fantastic experience. Thank you Bella Bridal for the wonderful helpful service and the help of finding me my perfect dress, I cannot wait for my dress to arrive.

Everyone at Bella Bridal was absolutely fabulous, and made the whole wedding experience so great for me! The very first time I came in to try on wedding dresses everyone was so nice and accommodating, everyone had a smile on their face and you can tell you all love what you do. I love how personable everybody is, and I always looked forward to coming in the boutique. I found the perfect gown, accessories, and bridesmaid dresses, for my wedding, and thanks to the alteration lady, she did an amazing job. I will recommend Bella Bridal to everyone I know getting married.

I loved everything about Bellas! The staff is amazing, especially Sonia. She is the one that actually found my dress, a gorgeous sophia tolli dress. Her opinion was so genuine and kind. I really apprieciated that. All the girls there were amazing everytime I went into the salon. The store itself is gorgeous. I love the spaciousness of the rooms and having the area to try on my dress. The dresses are very organized in the store. You dont have to dig through plastic bags. All the dresses are open to look at. The entire experience for me was so easy. Everyone knows finding a bridal gown can be stressful but this wasn't at all. The staff was so flexible with my schedule as well. I live about 40 minutes away and did not mind driving there just for the great service. I will recommend Bella's to all of my friends. They will take great care of you !

First of all ... Bella Bridal has the best staff. My matron of honor was amazed that every time I went into the store for a fitting or just to look at it again the staff knew my name from the minute I walked in the door and had my dress already in a fitting room just waiting for me.
When I was looking for my wedding dress I went to 3 other places but the minute I walked into Bella Bridal I immediately saw 10 dresses I wanted to try on. They were also in my price range of $500 - $1500 which is a bonus.

I would recommend Bella Bridal to everyone.

They were so accommodating with appointments and were extrmemly friendly. I always loved going in there for my fittings to visit with the girls and chat about my wedding. Cant wait to show them the pics of the dress!

Like most brides, I tried on many dresses at many stores. I went to Bella Bridal upon a recommendation of a friend and found my perfect dress there! On my first visit, I explained the "look" I wanted and they quickly found several dresses that fit my criteria. I tried on the one that they thought would be best and it was even more beautiful and unique than I had hoped to find! They worked with me over the upcoming months to make sure the dress was altered to fit me perfectly. The dress was completed and ready well before my wedding date. I loved working with everyone at Bella Bridal, they were so friendly and helpful!

After trying on many dresses, I finally found "the one" at Bella Bridal! I popped in by myself on a Friday when I unexpectedly got out of work a little early. Although I did not have an appointment, they still helped me browse the dress racks and listened to what type of dress I was looking for. They were very patient as I tried on many dresses, and eventually found my dream dress on one of the mannequins (a Martina Liana).

I also purchased my veil and some jewelry at one of the headpiece trunk shows. Each time I came into Bella Bridal, they remembered my name and were quick to help in any way possible (a huge deal for a stressed out bride). My alterations were done very well, and I felt so beautiful on my wedding day! I cannot recommend Bella Bridal enough!

I didn't get my bridal gown from here but I did get my bridesmaid dresses from here because they were so helpful. I went in to try on dresses and I also brought a picture of a dress that I liked from a magazine. They were going to have a trunk show in a month with that designer. They arranged to have that dress in the picture in their store. I went back to try on that dress and good grief, I looked terrible. However, I was so happy that they went out of their way to have a dress I was interested in brought in for the trunk show that I decided to get my bridesmaid dresses from them. They were able to take orders over the phone from my out of town bridesmaids and did alterations for some of the in-town bridesmaids. Great experience and I'm very happy I went through them to get my bridesmaid dresses.

Sonia and the staff at Bella Bridal were extremely friendly and helpful and made me feel genuinely cared about. Expect to pay anywhere between $800-$1500, but it is worth every penny.

I love my dress and loved it the most on the day of. Bella's was the second place I went after Macy's (which was too expensive, but a great place) and I bought my dress that day. It was on sale and I got credit towards shoes. The saleswomen were very helpful and careful to stay within my budget. My dress came in ahead of time, the owner Sonya was there everytime I went and greeted me by name, and the alterations came out lovely (I had them change the neckline to a slight sweetheart). I know they were more expensive than if I went to an independent person, but I liked not having to think about storing my dress or whatnot. Everyone was always friendly and helpful.

I found the dress I wanted at a store in Lansing, but have never heard of anyone having a good experience at that particular store, so I had to search for something outside my area. When I contacted Bella Bridal, I spoke with Gabriel who was extremely helpful. Within a couple hours, he had contacted the designer of the gown I was looking for and arranged to have a sample in a size closer to mine, the correct color, and with the optional detachable train. After trying the dress on, the ordering process was simple, and the staff were always communicative and friendly. I would definitely recommend Bella Bridal to other brides.

Bella Bridal is top notch. Imagine the amount of traffic flow in and out of a bridal store in a span of two years.........then flash to my experience...my dress was bought just over a year before my wedding...with a few trips to them prior to my buying, yet each and every time we entered the store, they knew exactly who I was and were ready to grab my dress and get me going with whatever I needed.

The dress was unique, yet traditional and it was unlike anything we had seen. It was truly "one of a kind". The designer was local and you could just see the detail that went into the dress. The women were honest and helpful at each turn of the way.

In fact, I returned nearly 8 months after my wedding to help my sister purchase her gown there and they still recognized all of us and were extremely, and genuinely excited to hear about our day!!!!!

Great customer service! Wouldn't go anywhere else!

I bought the wedding dress of my dreams from Bella Bridal in April/May for my wedding in August. I fell in love with the Martina Liana dress on my first appointment with Sonia. She listened to what kind of style I was looking for and pulled it for me. The dress was 100% organic dupioni silk in classic Champagne. The second I tried it on, I knew the dress was perfect. Due to the time constraint, I had to get the sample size 12 and had it altered in-house. At first, I was slightly worried with the drastic size change from 12 to 4, but Clara did an amazing job! You can tell that she is a master of her craft. The dress fit like a glove, as if it was made for me to begin with. I wanted a slightly off shoulder dress and Clara made it happen. The dress was absolutely gorgeous and being in it made me feel amazing. I went through the whole dress picking process alone and the Bella Bridal Team showed great excitement and made me feel comfortable. I couldn't be any happier with the level and quality of service I got from Bella Bridal. Thank you Bella Bridal!

I enjoyed choosing my wedding dress from Bella Bridal. It’s a nice small store so many of the times that I went for fittings I was the only one there so I got lots of personal attention. That makes it a great experience. When I bought my dress, the owner told me to come back if I was ever having a bad day to put the sample dress on and it would make me feel better. Sure enough, I did and it was very fun! The girls were full of helpful tips for getting dressed that day too. I was slightly unsatisfied with their seamstress though. I’m not sure that she did what I asked her to do when letting my dress out a little, and though I asked over and over if it would be a problem, she told me no. However, when I look at the pictures, I can still see how it was snug on me. Overall, I’d still recommend Bella Bridal though.

Go see them!!

Chances are, if you have a dream wedding gown in mind, Bella Bridal probably has it. Their dresses are absolutely STUNNING and they brought my vision into reality with the first dress I tried on. That being said, if your dress is the item you're looking to get a deal on, Bella Bridal is not going to be your most competitive option. However, if your dress is a budget item you're planning to invest in, I highly recommend visiting Bella Bridal! The entire staff were a joy to work with from the first visit to every alteration. Their seamstress on staff did an incredible job (even when I lost 2 inches at my waist due to wedding stress!) This team has high ratings for a reason. Go see them!!

In a word? They're WONDERFUL! I just about lost all hope after my first experience in a bridal dress shop. I left that appointment feeling absolutely down on my luck, and relatively convinced, I was never going to find my dream dress (if it even existed at all). So... I went into Bella Bridal, holding my breath, and I couldn't be any more thrilled with the outcome.

They not only feel like family there, they treat you like family. My consultant was excellent, but their entire staff pitched in, offering comments and suggestions. It really felt like I was with all my best girlfriends trying on clothes, when in reality, I didn't know a single one of them.

The owner was actually the one to pick out my dress. She brought it to me when I was flipping through the racks, and (on the hanger) I wasn't convinced, but relented, wanting to please her. She insisted it be the first dress I try on, and I'm so glad it was! I instantly fell in love. Nothing else compared. All the other employees came out, and ooh'd and ahh'd, and offered their suggestions on other things I could do to personalize the dress. I just couldn't (and still can't) get over how kind they were, and how it felt like I had known these people forever.

They even have special "reception" lighting (see: low lighting) near their platforms, so you can really get an idea of what your dress will look like at the reception. So cool!

All in all, they helped me find the dress of my dreams, and not only worked with me (but supplied me with all the information I needed to make the dress my own. I would definitely recommend to anyone searching for their dream dress!

I had nothing but a positive experience at Bella! The ladies there were always very positive and upbeat, and I ended up getting a discount on my dress (because I impulse-bought, but I did know it was what I wanted.) The ladies there were very attentive as I tried on dresses and came up with great ideas that fit the style I had in mind. I knew when I tried on my dress that it was my dress.

The dress and alterations were very costly, but as I understand it, are competitive rates in the industry. They were definitely worth it--the alterations especially were done flawlessly and the dress ended up fitting me perfectly. They may not be for every budget, but I do recommend Bella Bridal based on my own positive experience.

The family at Bella bridal is like my new family now. My dress received a million compliments. The alterations were expensive but perfect. They even added hand seen on gold beads which I wanted to make the dress a custom original for me. These people are great!!!!

I had an amazing experience at this bridal shop.

I found a dress online, found the designer and then found local shops that carried the designer. I called all 3 shops and Bella Bridal Gallery was the only shop that offered to call their supplier to see if they could find this specific dress.

It didn't even cross my mind that hunting down a dress was an option outside of having it or not having it in stock.

They gave me a timeframe of when they would be contacting me back. They stayed true to their word and called me a few days later to say YES they found it and could bring it in (at a fee for shipping). I said absolutely.

When my dress came in a few days before my appt they called to let me know it arrived. When I went in for my appt. We decided to pull 4 or 5 other dresses for me to try on before my ordered sample. I tried on some beautiful dresses. But when I tried on the dress they so kindly hunted down for me...I had the moment when I just knew that this was the dress.

The staff was so helpful and complimentary. This is a smaller more intimate boutique which I loved because I never felt overwhelmed. I had a great experience and HIGHLY recommend this bridal shop. They went above and beyond for me.

I have had a great experience thus far with Bella Bridal! My sis got her dress from here in 2004 and another friend in 2008, both with positive experiences. Mine has also been positive thus far!

I am not a "girly-girl" and the whole "planning a wedding" process was not my thing. I don't wear dresses on a regular basis and I only enjoy shopping at REI. When I first arrived at the store, they were beyond excited to have me and my family there. The excitement level scared me a bit because I am simply not like that; I don't get excited about wedding planning. However, this didn't deter the attendant one bit - she kept positive and was willing to work with me (and I know I was probably difficult). She did a great job focusing on what would suit my body and our wedding style, while keeping in mind the style I wanted.

After that appointment, I went to another bridal shop down the road and they were plain rude to me... my mother and sister both told me that the experience at a shop is just as important as the dress itself. They were absolutely correct! We left the other shop quickly and went back to Bella Bridal to try on my top favorites once again... leading to my "saying yes to the dress" moment! My initial intent was to just "try on styles" and have my dress custom made. However, the Essence of Australia line was just too beautiful to pass up. Turns out, I had bookmarked "my dress" as a Pinterest inspiration - it was meant to be!

Our wedding is in May and I bought the dress in October. I was told it would arrive ~April 1st - leaving just 1 month for fittings/alterations. However, my dress arrived months early, removing that nervous stress. The dress fit perfectly at my first fitting and looked so much better than the trial dress did. I am having a few custom alterations done to the style, which I have yet to know the cost, etc. Overall, I have had a positive experience!

Bella Bridal was a great shop to get my wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses from. Everyone who worked there was very attentive to what I wanted and made me feel like I was the only person in the shop when I was there. They have a wide variety of dresses and prices to fit any bride's budget. I would definitely recommend going to Bella Bridal.

I went to Bella after I received a coupon for 20% off my purchase and a free pair of shoes. I had also been to several stores before that. When I went in there, I told them what kinds of things I was looking for and they were able to find many beautiful dresses in my price range. I found my dress and the alterations were done at a reasonable price too. I did end up paying $20 for the shoes because the free shoe coupon was for a $60 value. I didn't think those shoes were worth $80. I also bought my tiara there at a great price and it matched my dress perfectly. I would recommend this store to anyone!

We made a lot of purchases for our wedding through Bella Bridal: my wedding gown, my veil, my mom's MOB dress, and five bridesmaid dresses with shoes (and received discount because we ordered so many items). Bella Bridal was referred to me by a friend who had just used them for her wedding dress. I went into the salon having a pretty good idea of what I wanted, but was disappointed when the style I thought I'd like just wasn't working. One of the ladies pulled a dress they thought might work and, to my surprise, it was perfect. I think that they took a lot of time to help me find the right dress. Despite the fact that there were others in the salon, I felt they were very attentive to me. After choosing my dress, everything was smooth sailing. My mom also had a great experience with her MOB dress; no issues/problems. The only problem (and in the grand scheme of things, it was very minor) was with ordering our bridesmaid dresses. Long story short, the dresses were made in China and due to the Chinese New Year holiday, we had to order the dresses earlier than I expected. It was a bit frantic trying to get all of the dresses ordered on time, but everything worked out in the end. I gave quality of service and flexibility a 4/5 simply because I wish I had known that we needed to order the bridesmaid dresses so much earlier. Overall, though, I thought Bella Bridal was great and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding dress.

The only bad things are that they charge a lot for alterations ( I needed only a 1/2 inch hem and cups put in and they charged me $195) and they won't let you take pictures of the dress until you buy it, which a lot of salons do.

This is the only place I tried on wedding dresses. I tried on about 30 dresses and the sales person was so patient and helpful. I narrowed it down to 3 and then 2, and then pretty much settled on my dress. I can back with my mom the next day and bought the dress.

I came back for a fitting when the dress came in, and then again to make sure it was okay and pick it up. Every time, the service was fantastic. They were also really understanding when I rescheduled appointments or was late.

they have a great selection of dresses at all price ranges, including some that aren't all bedazzled and poofy, which is what I wanted. I ended up paying $600 for my dress and I loved it

The staff at Bella Bridal are so friendly, patient, and helpful. I came to the gallery alone and purchased my dress there after going to about 8 other places. The seamstress has been amazing so far. I pick up my dress next week!

Bella Bridal and Sonya were great to work with. They made me feel like I was the only bride they had, which we all know they're a bridal shop so they have hundreds if not thousands of brides they deal with on a yearly basis. I also purchased our bridesmaid dresses from here, my veil, shoes and they did the alterations for my dress. They have a great selection of dresses to chose from. I went to several other dress shops before and it was Bella's stellar customer service that brought me back!

Good variety of dresses, had many in the style I was looking for. Helpful staff. I felt a little pressured to get my alterations from the shop, though I chose to go with an independent seamstress. Offered "free shoes" with dress, but this meant up to $65 and most shoes were over $100. Headpieces and veils were quite expensive, but dress was reasonable.

I was pretty sure I knew what dress I wanted before going into Bella Bridal. They were the only ones in the area who were willing to order the sample ahead (at my own cost) for me to try on along with others during my appointment. I loved the dress but wanted some things taken care of during alterations, which they assured me could be done. When I came back in to try on the dress, I was unhappy with how it was made. They made me another appointment after I had called back to discuss if changes were possible or if I would have to reorder the dress. They assured me again that it could all be taken care of with alterations. When I came back in for my first fitting, I was told that some of the alterations were not possible and I had to pay extra for a slip that I did not initially want. Another of my concerns was brushed off and contributed to the dress not being pressed yet. The problem did not go away with pressing (but I wouldn't find that out until I picked it up just days before my wedding), and was not taken care of when I brought it up repeatedly. On top of all that, the price given was well above that quoted initially. I was not able to take my dress elsewhere and had to sign a waiver giving up the right to take pictures of the dress I had already purchased. After multiple fittings and things not being taken care of as they should have been (at my second fitting nothing had been touched), in the end the dress fit but I was mostly ready to just get my dress back. They wouldn't let me take it until 2 days before my wedding so even if something had been wrong, it wouldn't have had time to get fixed.

Bella Bridal is wonderful. Sonia and her team give you 100% attention and ideas that you want and deserve as a bride. No one in the state of Michigan carried a dress i really wanted to try on, so they were first hand with the designer and flew the dress in for me. After trying it on, i knew i had to have it, so they special ordered it for me. Making appointments and having a sales girl dedicated to me was awesome. I must comment that i didn't care for the alterations lady once my dress was ready for fitting. I had a 7 layer, heavy dress that she insisted just 3 bustles would keep it up throughout the night. I had to trust her, but sure enough every bustles snapped within 10 minutes of my reception. I spent half the night trying to find different ways to keep my 6 foot train off the ground or anything that would just allow me to dance. Needless to say, it sort of put a damper on the biggest night of my life. I would 100% recommend the salon, just go elsewhere for alterations.

As long as you can deal with caddy girls.....My dress was amazing. Selection of dresses were unique from even the larger stores. The only store in Michigan to have my dress, however, they talked down to my sisters on numerous occasions. I wanted my sisters to come with me (THEY WILL GIVE ME THEIR HONEST OPINION). The girls were trying to sell... sell even if it wasn't the best dress on me.

Just be aware. Pushy...

I went to Bella Bridal when I first started looking for a wedding dress (in fact it was my first stop). The dresses were very nice but on the expensive side (most around $1K or more) but they did have some lower priced dress as well. The ladies there were nice and attentive and suggested dresses to try on. I did not end up getting my dress there but would recommend going to see their selection.

The dress was so beautiful, it was my dream dress. However, everything was so expensive, I only needed my dress hem and bustled and it was $600! I felt ripped off. I couldn't believe it, and the ribbon they used to tie my bustled broke at the end of the day!!! I was disappointed with some of the service, they rushed me in paying my dress off in full. I wouldn't say I would not recommend the store to anyone, but I would really think about it...

good beginning, poor ending

I am an out of state bride that came to look for a wedding dress in Michigan with my mom, mother in law, and best friend. I made 3 appointments in two days knowing that I would only have this one weekend with everyone together to find THE dress. Bella’s was my second appointment. This store is small but has a lot of charm and nice dresses. Heather was my sales consultant and she was lovely. She made me feel completely comfortable and brought me the perfect dresses to try on after listening to my vision. We were the only appointment at the time which was great because we also had the owner I believe, and another sales consultant that helped select and give feedback. There was a dress I absolutely loved but knew I still had one more appointment later in the day that I wanted to go to as I was not 100% on the dress.
I asked if they could take my measurements since I was flying back home to Florida the next day when they were closed. It was a flat no. Absolutely not, to take your measurements we have to have a contract signed. It did not even matter that I lived so far away. I did not realize a couple quick measurements could cause so much concern.
I am an analyst by nature and occupation and I think everything through, at least twice. I never make quick decisions especially when the dress of my lifetime is involved. I felt like this is where everything fell short for me. I started feeling pressure from the probable owner to buy the dress, why look elsewhere if this is the one, is it because of the $50 no-show for the other appointment, and on and on. Her tone quickly changed with me. The other consultants stayed nice and I felt could sense I wasn’t appreciating the pressure, so they did their best at trying to take a step back. However, I started to become offended after I politely explained although I was definitely deciding by the end of the day on a dress, I was not going to say “Yes” on a whim. It is just not my personality to do that.
This was also the only place we were not allowed to take pictures of any of the dresses. So later on at the next shop when I tried to compare, I only had an online picture of a model wearing the dress. This among the intense pressure and offensiveness given to me to buy a dress confirmed my decision to order the next dress I loved. Overall, although everyone was pleasant for most of the visit, I would like to recommend to not make someone feel pressure to buy. This is a very important decision and such a special moment not only for the bride, but also for the parents and this situation definitely took away from that once in a lifetime experience.

Bella Bridal carries a nice assortment of beautiful gowns (priced around $1000-$3000). While I did find the perfect dress there, I found the experience to be less than stellar. The shopping experience was rushed and lacking in personalization. The alterations process was off-putting. I was quoted $595 for my lace hem. When asked if I could take my dress, I was informed that they would not honor this "alterations deal" if I took my paid-in-full dress home. Unsure that this was truly a deal, I sought out other quotes and happily picked up my dress when a local seamstress quoted me $60 for my hem. Unfortunately, a friend is having similar difficulties with the alterations process at Bella Bridal.

The day of my first dress fitting, it was extremely HOTT in this shop so my dress was fitting too high. It felt as though the air was not on. It's vital that your body is cool when you try on a wedding dress so that was extremely disappointing. The bustle was uneven and it was very difficult to schedule dress fitting appointments in the evening.

Originally had a great experience with the buying process-however, once the dress actually came in... it all went downhill from there. They do a great job of selling you on a dress and pushing you to buy something. The staff was very rude and they are a complete rip off when it comes to alterations. I work in the wedding industry and I have never been treated more horribly than from the staff from Bella. The owner would not even call me back and her consultants were horrible to communicate with. The owner really needs to train her staff in customer service and email email etiquette. I ended up taking my dress somewhere else for alterations and they charged me half the price I was quoted by Bella. If you insist on buying your dress from Bella- take it somewhere else for alterations. They carry great brands but It is truly not worth the hassle. There are plenty of other options in the metro Detroit area.
