Bell Flowers is the BEST
Bell Flowers came highly recommended to me by another bride and I could not be more thankful that we worked with them! Cathy was super responsive from initial outreach. She was so helpful in guiding us (as flower novices) through picking a beautiful color scheme and affordable selection. They also created specialty pieces like an archway and flower garlands. The Bell Flowers team coordinated set up and tear-down that made our day easy. Everything they made was stunning and I couldn't have had a more beautiful bridal bouquet. Thankful for Cathy, Chad and the team! -

I loved working with Bell Flowers for our wedding! They’re a family-owned business in Silver Spring, MD, and I felt like we had a really personalized experience. Cathy worked with us for two and a half years through two COVID-related postponements, and she was so accommodating the entire time. When we decided to have a small legal ceremony in 2020, we had Bell Flowers make us a bouquet and boutonniere so it would feel a bit more special. Cathy worked with me through a Pinterest mood board suggesting flowers, and even had me come by to see a mockup in person prior to our wedding. In 2022, she was very communicative and made a mockup of our centerpieces to make sure it was what we expected. On the day of, everything looked amazing. The prices were extremely reasonable compared to other quotes I received from DC-area florists, and I wouldn’t hesitate to work with Bell Flowers again! -

Great Florist, Amazing Value
Although I love the look of flowers I know absolutely nothing about them or how expensive having them at my wedding could be. However, when I discovered Bell’s Flowers all my worries slipped away! They’ve been in this business for a long time and it shows. They are true professionals and know how to transform a space and stay within budget. Bell’s Flowers was by far the most approachable and inclusive florist I found in my search. I never once felt out of my realm or talked down to. Cathy the head florist was soooo easy to work with, she walked me through the entire process and really understood my vision and price concerns. Cathy created a full portfolio that met all my requirements and stayed within my budget. Additionally, when I realized that my guest count was creeping up and needed to add more florals she was able to accommodate that and worked with me to think outside the box and repurpose flowers from the ceremony to the reception. Cathy was the genius behind using the arch flowers as the table runner for the head table. It was absolutely breathtaking and when I walked into my wedding and saw everything I was truly blown away! I will recommend Bells flowers until I am blue in the face! They are the absolute best and you will be in good hands with them. -

Choosing to work with Bell Flowers was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Chad and Cathy put together the most beautiful floral arrangements-- they listened to my vision, guided me on the small details, and ultimately created exactly what I had envisioned and more! Leading up to the wedding, Cathy and Chad were easy to communicate with and were transparent throughout the entire process. They were able to take my ideas and create something beyond beautiful. From my bouquet, to the incredible floral arch, all the way down to the corsages, they created something that we will remember forever. To my DMV brides, look no further! -

Everything I could have asked for!
Andrea was incredible to work with. She was open to my ideas and helped me create the perfect setting for our wedding, from the most beautiful bouquet, to lovely ceremony flowers, stunning centerpieces and a floral and green wreath that was the talk of the night. I’d recommend her to anyone! -

From the beginning Andrea was extremely organized and communicative, completely understanding my vision and adding her own thoughts and ideas for various floral arrangements. Her experience and confidence made me feel very comfortable that she was taking care of our flowers, and I was blown away by how beautiful everything was! The flowers were extremely fresh and looked even better than I imagined. Chad delivered the flowers and arranged our centerpieces and he did a fantastic job!
Andrea and Chad were both a pleasure to work with, and I would absolutely recommend Bell Flowers to anyone looking for excellent customer service and stunning floral arrangements! -

Elizabeth Sent on 12/14/2015My husband and I had a wonderful time working with Andrea at Bells Flowers, who we chose as the florists for our wedding in August 2015. From the initial email; wherein I gave Andrea my wedding colors and bridesmaids' dress color, I knew she would be perfect, when she immediately sent me a list of flowers that would adhere to my requests. Throughout the planning process, she answered every question via email, followed up via phone for more in-depth explanations, in addition to offering valuable insight and helpful suggestions.
Their prices are not only affordable, but their customer service is impeccable. This was definitely important, considering I needed not only the usual bouquets/boutonnieres, but also, altar flowers, and decorations for two reception venues.

Amy Sent on 06/19/2018Andrea and the Bell Flowers team were the heroes of our May 19th wedding!! They were recommended to us by both our venue and a wedding planner friend and from our first meeting with Andrea we knew we were in good hands. I sent a few inspiration photos beforehand and during our consultation she actually built both a sample bouquet and boutonniere. Seeing my vision come to life was incredible and reassuring. Throughout the process Andrea was quick to respond to any changes, even right up to the day when rained forced us inside for our ceremony. I was worried I'd overwhelm her with the sheer amount of mercury glass to be arranged with the flowers as centerpieces, but she's speedy and professional and made our already gorgeous venue even more stunning, and used the extra flowers originally for outside in creative and beautiful ways. Overall, she was a rockstar to work with and the quality of the flowers was incredible. Everyone gushed over the color palette and flower choices and holding my bouquet brought my entire bridal look together. I'll cherish the flowers I have pressed and dried forever, and cannot thank Andrea and the Bell Flower team enough for making our day so utterly beautiful.

Laura Sent on 07/09/2012Flowers was where I tried (and succeeded) at cutting costs. I went low key on all my centerpieces and did not have additional decor besides the bouquets.
That being said, I was very pleased. My hand-tied bouquet was under $100 and very pretty. It did drupe a bit by the middle of the night, but it survived the ceremony fine.
I was pleased working with Andrea. There were a few times that it took her a bit longer to get back to me, but I found she was more responsive through phone than email.
Overall, Bell is great if you are trying to cut costs. If flowers is where you want to splurge, you could probably find a fancier florist. But I was pleased!
