The original location for my daughter's reception was to small so we sought out another location. We happened to stumble on The Belair Armory online and gave them a call. From the moment we spoke to Julia our experience was TOP NOTCH. Communication from day 1 until the end was superb. The Venue itself is unique in appearance and large enough to accommodate several guests easy. The restrooms were clean, bright and supplied, and get this, there's 2 sets of restrooms so there's no standing in line. You don't really need extra lights but we placed some around the room which easily turned this place into a palace. Staff was there on time to open and went well beyond their ability to assist us with anything we needed This place is a hidden gem. We had my daughter’s wedding this past weekend. She picked that date knowing there could be a chance of a freak snow storm that could ruin everything. Well a snow storm just happened to be coming our way and a big one at that. The Armory reached out to me with date and time change options just in case I was thinking about it. We decided to move things up in the day and everyone got home safely before it started. They were so accommodating. Outside the Armory is so awesome, especially if you are into castles like I am. Inside there is so much room. You have enough space to set up almost anything you can think of. There are plenty of bathrooms. Several rooms where you can change. Easy access to the kitchen and loading dock so you can get all your stuff inside. I can’t recommend this place enough. If you are looking for a venue to host your event, this is it.Bel Air Armory's reply:

Really good experience hosting our daughters wedding event we really recommend this venue to everyone I have two other kids we already planning hosting there wedding event at this place it was really beautiful and really good space also special thank you to Julia and family they are very good with handling everything so well all my family and friends really appreciate both of you Emily and Julia thank you for everything we’re looking forward to have a another event soon. Thank you.

Everything was perfect , you can transform the space for what you want .

We were married at the Bel Air Armory on May 31,2025. Our experience with the Armory was absolutely amazing! The coordinator was responsive and very accommodating in meeting with me. The venue is very spacious and clean. There are so many options for your decorator to be creative. You will not be disappointed! -

I cannot say enough wonderful things about our wedding experience at The Bel Air Armory! From the moment we toured the space, we knew it was the perfect place for our big day. The venue itself is absolutely stunning—every corner felt like a dream come true. The setup was flawless, and the atmosphere was magical from start to finish. Julia was also amazing, keeping us on track, and providing us with all the details we needed from start to finish.
What truly made our day exceptional was the incredible staff. They were beyond amazing—friendly, attentive, professional, and genuinely invested in making sure everything went perfectly. They handled every detail with care and made us feel so supported throughout the entire process. They assisted us with our wedding party getting out during the ceremony on time, and that wasn’t even their job.
Thanks to them, our wedding was everything we hoped for and more. We are still getting compliments from our guests on how beautiful everything was and how smoothly the day flowed. If you're considering this venue for your event, do it—you won't regret

Our original venue fell through so we had to find another, and the Armory was PERFECT! Julia (the manager and contact person) and her staff, especially Emily, were great to work with. We really loved having our wedding at the Armory. We were married outside in the park adjacent to the Armory, and then had the reception inside. Everything was perfect! -

My husband and I got married May 18, 2024 and we had our reception at the Armory. The price was reasonable ($150 per hour) and the hall was spacious enough to hold all 100 of guests with plenty of room for dancing! The staff was very helpful and easy to communicate with. Staff is so helpful and answered all our questions with no fuss. Everything was reasonable and flexible and honestly the wedding couldn't have gone better. The photos are fantastic, the main room is perfect for all we needed, and the look is the castle feel without needed an endless budget!
I would book this venue again for other events besides weddings. It's fantastic. -

Great Venue
This venue offers a blank slate for endless opportunities. We divided the room using curtains (different vendor) and had a space for cocktail hour and dinner. There are 2 sets of restroom, so no lines were created, even for the ladies room. They had plenty of parking for guest and the location allowed us to walk downtown for a small after party. We also took advantage of the stage and gave the DJ plenty of space. -

March Wedding Reception
I cannot say enough good things about Julia and her team! All questions were answered quickly and the Bel Air Armory was the perfect location to hold our reception. Beautiful on its own, but also so easy to transform into whatever you can dream of. Cannot wait for another occasion where I have the ability to book the armory. -

Hall was exactly what we were looking for. Beautiful open space that had plenty of room for our guests, DJ, photo booth & dancing.

This venue was over the top magnificent. With the Winter Wonderland outside, it set the perfect tone for guests as they entered our event.
The facility was really clean and we had access to most of the building. All chairs and tables were sturdy and uniform.
The gym floor, walls, and lighting are beautiful. Working with the staff was easy and they were both accommodating and efficient.
Thank you for this very classy experience on Main Street, in my hometown Bel Air. We highly recommend this venue for any kind of event or celebration 👏 -

The Authors & Artists Holiday Gift Sale has used the Bel Air Armory with great success in the past. Our most recent experience was the best ever. Julia Potler, Events Manager for The Town of Bel Air, was most helpful and always available to answer questions, and work with us on set-up and the operation of sound and other equipment. The staff assisted us with the layout and assisted with moving and setting up the tables and chairs provided by the Armory. Both interior and exterior is a great backdrop for any public, or private event. The hardwood floors and stage area create a warm environment. We are planning a return in November 2021 and will definitely use them again. -
