We absolutely loved Behind the Bash catering! Their staff was super courteous, professional, and helpful. The food. I can’t say enough good things about it. Everything tasted just the way it did at our tasting so there were no surprises. The red beans and rice (the groom’s favorite food) was awesome. The gumbo and the Cajun pasta were amazing. The beef was cooked perfectly. The beignets and the bananas Foster were the icing on the top. I have received so many compliments on the food that night. Thank you so much to Behind the Bash for making our daughter‘s dream wedding come true. -

Can’t say enough wonderful about BTB!! They made our wedding dreams come true! The couple wanted something different than the typical wedding menu. BTB invited us back to do a second tasting of the foods we requested. They went above and beyond to make the day exactly what we wanted. The entire staff was very professional and efficient. The guests at the wedding raved about the quality of the food! Ashley and Jennifer were a dream to work with - paying attention to every detail. We also had BTB cater the bridesmaids lunch in the bridal suite while everyone was in hair and makeup. They provided a fabulous feast for the pre-wedding festivities. -

This is our 3rd event with Behind the Bash and I could write the same review about all 3 experiences. Aside from the food being amazing, BTB is a joy to work with. From the beginning stages and working with Ashley and Jennifer, to the event day and working with the wait staff, every member of the team is a pleasure to work with. They all have a client focused mindset and aim to ensure each event is exactly what you want it to be. Choosing Behind the Bash for our wedding was the best decision we made. Our wedding planner (Kelly @ Eventology Weddings) recommended them, and we had a fantastic tasting experience. We felt very at-ease by the professionalism and personal touch they provided. One thing that we loved was that they cook on-site, and even though our venue did not have a full kitchen they brought their own kitchen set-up to ensure the food is fresh and delicious. Additionally, they provided linens, chargers, etc., and since our bar was self-stocked they also had a bartending package. Overall this made planning much easier, to know we could use all these services. They had a variety of food options and a customizable menu.... -

It is with such pleasure and gratitude that share this review. Behind The Bash catered our wedding on April 2nd. It has now been 5 weeks, and I know for years to come, my husband and I will always remember their attention to detail, the absolute deliciousness of the food and the magnificent cocktails they prepared for our most special day.

I recently got married. BTB was our caterer for our wedding and they were AMAZING! From top to bottom, they knocked it out of the park. Prior to the wedding, BTB gave us a WHOLE EXPERIENCE for our tasting. From the ambience, to the kind and attentive staff. Did I forget to mention the roughly 20 plus course meal that was provided that made it way more difficult to choose an option since EVERYTHING was delicious. The owner herself waited on us and explained everything we were eating. She is completely hands-on. Leading up to the wedding BTB would just check-in to ensure that I was okay. I appreciated that. If I ever need anything catered ever for as long as I live in and around Houston, I will be calling Jennifer. Every bite was a new little celebration in my mouth. The care given to the presentation and the perfect balance of flavors far surpassed my wildest expectations. It was so good, I was half-ready to send everyone home and just have some private time with me and my plate. AND she made it all happen on February 20, 2021 despite the historic winter storm that took out power and water across the state for almost the entire week before the event. We couldn’t be happier that we chose Behind the Bash for our wedding. Everyone says that people judge a wedding is based on how good the food is, and I have no doubt that our guests loved ours. I know because they told us. To this day, I still think back on the food we had and how happy I was that we made sure we had the chance to eat it. It was honestly hard to pick the final menu for our wedding because everything at our tasting was so delicious. We ended up adding a late night snack just because the mac-and-cheese was THAT GOOD. Rachel and Jennifer at Behind the Bash were unbelievable. Interestingly enough, it just started "okay" because we went to a large tasting out in Richmond, but they didn't have a lot of the stuff we had wanted to try. From there, WOW - Jennifer met me at somewhere on multiple occasions to give me samples of what we'd wanted. By "sample", I mean multiple chicken breasts or a whole tray of appetizers, not just one or two bites. Rachel was phenomenal to work with, not only with the specific food we wanted, but helping us keep it within our budget. I got married at Briscoe Manor on 12/07/18. Rachel Plunkett is so amazing and so sweet. She helped us customize our dream menu for our wedding. She even went over some napkin designs to make everything look more elegant. Everyone LOVED the food and was so impressed with everything. Behind the Bash is top notch and I highly recommend them! We used Rachel for our pre ceremony catering, and all ceremony needs (bar & food). We loved working with Rachel and seeing all our different menu options. She definitely gives you the most bang for your buck. Not only were we able to take her menus and customize them, but she even let us create some of our own items to fit our guests taste. She recommended my cake, and flowers and they were absolutly gourgeous as well. I didnt go with her suggestion on the limo, and I regretted it! Mysti helped me with all the details of my day, and although she had like tons of other weddings and events, I felt like mine was her only concern and that she was my personal wedding planner (and she wasn't). Could not have imagined a better group
Everything from start to finish was amazing with BTB!! From the initial meetings to tastings to the big day- it was seamless. I’ve got some food snobs in my family and they could not stop raving about the food. They all wanted contact info for their future events. I am so pleased with this whole experience, I highly recommend them for anyone on their wedding day or any other occasion!! -

Great People and Great Food
We cannot say enough of about the wonderful people at Behind the Bash. Jennifer and her staff were truly a joy to work with from our first tasting to designing a menu that fit perfectly into the vision we had for my daughter's wedding. We were lucky enough to not only work with Jennifer, but Ashley D was an added bonus.
The day of the wedding they knocked it out of the park beginning with passed appetizers to the perfectly prepared tenderloin to the brownie bar, boozy milkshakes and the going away honey-butter chicken biscuits!! Our guests raved about the food and presentation.

Amazing Caterer and Awesome Food
After all these months after our wedding, our guests are still taking about how great the food was and the great customer service they received during the cocktail hour and the reception from BTB. We agree with them that Behind the Bash was absolutely perfect and the best caterer for our wedding. Jennifer and the entire staff were just AMAZING. We recommend them 100% to anyone who is planning an event. We will not change any of the details of our special day. We want to thank BTB for making one of the best days of our lives a day that we will never forget. We were in love with their professionalism since the day we went to try their delicious food on their presentation. -
