This is our 3rd event with Behind the Bash and I could write the same review about all 3 experiences. Aside from the food being amazing, BTB is a joy to work with. From the beginning stages and working with Ashley and Jennifer, to the event day and working with the wait staff, every member of the team is a pleasure to work with. They all have a client focused mindset and aim to ensure each event is exactly what you want it to be. From table cloths, to custom menus options, we were beyond pleased with each element you provided. Thank you all for being a bright light in the middle of all the stress of planning our wedding! We would recommend you all to anyone.

Choosing Behind the Bash for our wedding was the best decision we made. Our wedding planner (Kelly @ Eventology Weddings) recommended them, and we had a fantastic tasting experience. We felt very at-ease by the professionalism and personal touch they provided. One thing that we loved was that they cook on-site, and even though our venue did not have a full kitchen they brought their own kitchen set-up to ensure the food is fresh and delicious. Additionally, they provided linens, chargers, etc., and since our bar was self-stocked they also had a bartending package. Overall this made planning much easier, to know we could use all these services. They had a variety of food options and a customizable menu. Our favorite part was the month-before meeting, discussing the final plan. It was great knowing they were able to accommodate all our guests dietary restrictions. They were also able to provide kid’s meals, which was above and beyond what we expected. The day-of was incredible, and we received SO MANY COMPLIMENTS about the food. We noticed they were very on top of things, very well organized and well executed from set-up to tear-down. We cannot speak highly enough about Behind the Bash and we are thankful to the whole team for making our day spectacular. -

It is with such pleasure and gratitude that share this review. Behind The Bash catered our wedding on April 2nd. It has now been 5 weeks, and I know for years to come, my husband and I will always remember their attention to detail, the absolute deliciousness of the food and the magnificent cocktails they prepared for our most special day.
Our friends & family continue to rave about how delicious everything tasted, many commenting "best wedding dinner experience" they've ever had - from appetizers, salad, dinner, and drinks, and how beautifully everything was displayed as well. Ashley, Jennifer, and Jennifer‘s husband and all their staff were just absolutely amazing people to work with, their professionalism and dedication make them stand out above any other.
We had a beautiful outdoor venue that was a DIY set up and BTB was ready for the challenge, they made our planning process extremely easy, seamless and so smooth. BTB offered many of the crucial services we needed to pull off an amazing event that we made sure they would become our main vendor - they took care of preparing high quality food, bartending service, cutlery, dinner wear, linens, coffee service, cake cutting, and more. Zero stress and high quality. We also had a couple of guests w/ allergies and food restrictions and without hesitation, BehindTheBash made sure to attend to them carefully.
BehindTheBash also made sure to prepare to-go plates for us, and boy! Was that a treat! After a long and beautiful day, we were quite hungry and how sweet it was to enjoy it all once more. -

Great People and Great Food
We cannot say enough of about the wonderful people at Behind the Bash. Jennifer and her staff were truly a joy to work with from our first tasting to designing a menu that fit perfectly into the vision we had for my daughter's wedding. We were lucky enough to not only work with Jennifer, but Ashley D was an added bonus.
The day of the wedding they knocked it out of the park beginning with passed appetizers to the perfectly prepared tenderloin to the brownie bar, boozy milkshakes and the going away honey-butter chicken biscuits!! Our guests raved about the food and presentation.

I recently got married. BTB was our caterer for our wedding and they were AMAZING! From top to bottom, they knocked it out of the park. Prior to the wedding, BTB gave us a WHOLE EXPERIENCE for our tasting. From the ambience, to the kind and attentive staff. Did I forget to mention the roughly 20 plus course meal that was provided that made it way more difficult to choose an option since EVERYTHING was delicious. The owner herself waited on us and explained everything we were eating. She is completely hands-on. Leading up to the wedding BTB would just check-in to ensure that I was okay. I appreciated that. BTB (Jennifer and Ashley) made my life easier. The day of the wedding BTB provided excellent service from cocktail hour on through dinner. My guest and I were so pleased. After the wedding BTB continued the excellent service by checking in on us. Who does that?? They do! I am transparently sad that I am currently having no event that I could hire them for, but you can rest assure that when I do have an event, they will be the ONLY caterer on my list. Love them

Amazing Caterer and Awesome Food
After all these months after our wedding, our guests are still taking about how great the food was and the great customer service they received during the cocktail hour and the reception from BTB. We agree with them that Behind the Bash was absolutely perfect and the best caterer for our wedding. Jennifer and the entire staff were just AMAZING. We recommend them 100% to anyone who is planning an event. We will not change any of the details of our special day. We want to thank BTB for making one of the best days of our lives a day that we will never forget. We were in love with their professionalism since the day we went to try their delicious food on their presentation. -

If I ever need anything catered ever for as long as I live in and around Houston, I will be calling Jennifer. Every bite was a new little celebration in my mouth. The care given to the presentation and the perfect balance of flavors far surpassed my wildest expectations. It was so good, I was half-ready to send everyone home and just have some private time with me and my plate. AND she made it all happen on February 20, 2021 despite the historic winter storm that took out power and water across the state for almost the entire week before the event. She and her team worked so hard to make my wedding perfect and they 100% delivered everything I could have hoped for and more. I couldn't be happier (unless she gives me the recipe for that roasted corn and poblano risotto!) and would absolutely recommend her to anyone for any event. -

Rachel and Jennifer at Behind the Bash were unbelievable. Interestingly enough, it just started "okay" because we went to a large tasting out in Richmond, but they didn't have a lot of the stuff we had wanted to try. From there, WOW - Jennifer met me at somewhere on multiple occasions to give me samples of what we'd wanted. By "sample", I mean multiple chicken breasts or a whole tray of appetizers, not just one or two bites. Rachel was phenomenal to work with, not only with the specific food we wanted, but helping us keep it within our budget. On the big day, BTB came early and stayed late, and their staff went almost unnoticed by anyone (they were that good). I can't rave enough about the food - all of our guests had full, happy stomachs. I usually find wedding food to be pretty "meh", but I could've eaten everything they had for weeks. Tip: the bacon wrapped shrimp, the Chicken Briscoe, and the truffle mac and cheese are not to be missed. 5 stars all across the board. -

We couldn’t be happier that we chose Behind the Bash for our wedding. Everyone says that people judge a wedding is based on how good the food is, and I have no doubt that our guests loved ours. I know because they told us. To this day, I still think back on the food we had and how happy I was that we made sure we had the chance to eat it. It was honestly hard to pick the final menu for our wedding because everything at our tasting was so delicious. We ended up adding a late night snack just because the mac-and-cheese was THAT GOOD. BTB was so wonderful to work with. They came highly recommended from my planner, and now I can see why. I even had a special request for peach cobbler (my favorite dessert), and they made it happen. I would recommend BTB to anyone! -

I got married at Briscoe Manor on 12/07/18. Rachel Plunkett is so amazing and so sweet. She helped us customize our dream menu for our wedding. She even went over some napkin designs to make everything look more elegant. Everyone LOVED the food and was so impressed with everything. Behind the Bash is top notch and I highly recommend them! The pecan crusted chicken and south west egg rolls are to die for!
