Don’t hesitate – choose Jennifer as your photographer!

Firstly, leading up to our wedding communication was efficient and prompt. It might seem like an insignificant thing but when you’re working with multiple suppliers having quick sensible answers to questions is very helpful.

We had the honor of Jennifer at our wedding and she is incredible. From the beautiful engagement shoot to our perfect wedding Jennifer was brilliant from start to finish. She is professional, efficient, friendly and, most importantly, took the most fabulous photographs of our wedding

The photos tell the story and bring back every feeling from our wedding day and we look at them feeling laughter and tears. Jennifer is truly talented and captured everything and we will treasure these forever. We look forward to working with her in the future. Thank you so much!!

Jennifer completely exceeded our expectations. From the moment we met with her for our engagement shoot, we felt so comfortable and had a blast. On the wedding day she arrived with my favorite coffee beverage, stayed for the entire day and captured TONS of priceless moments. She was ready and willing to help in any way during our day. My brother split his dress pants (a hilarious moment) before the ceremony began and Jennifer was the one to come to the rescue and sew them. My husband and I choose not to do a first look which we assumed would mean a lengthy photo session following the ceremony. Jennifer was quick and concise and took the most incredible bride and groom portraits. She was very attentive during the reception portion of the night - taking tons of candids and smiling photos with various friends and family members. Her attention to detail, creativity, professionalism, and awesome personality made for the perfect wedding photographer fit for us. We can't say enough about Jennifer's talent. Everyone continues to gush about the photos and they've only seen the sneak peak. We were able to view photos on her blog immediately the following day which was such a fun way to relive the best day ever. We highly recommend Jennifer. The quality of her work is exceptional. We wish we could do it all over again. :)

We have been working with Jennifer over the past year and a half. She did our wedding photography and also our newborn baby's pictures. She's very easy to communicate with, pays attention to small detail, gets to know her clients, is very professional, and is quick to get pictures back. We couldn't have found a better photographer and love the work that she does!

Jennifer was the utmost professional for our engagement and wedding. Not only did the pictures look amazing, but she had so many great ideas that really went the extra mile. Jennifer took tons of photos but worked so well behind the scenes. We hardly even saw her during most of the wedding day!

Jennifer was simply amazing! She is a true professional. I loved having her with us all day and not having to worry about a particular time limit. She was very flexible when it came to taking photographs with friends and family but she also was able to guide us effortlessly through all the standard wedding pictures. Finally, Jennifer is so quick to edit her photos! We had a preview posted on Facebook the night of the wedding! It was so nice to be able to reminisce about the wedding in the days right after!
Jennifer also is great in a crisis. She is trained as an EMT and is currently in nursing school. Our nephew cut his hand during our wedding and Jennifer sprang into action, cleaned and evaluated his wound, and recommended his parents take him to the ER. She did all of this without my husband or I having any idea about what was going on! Our family chose to tell us later so that we could enjoy the rest of the reception. We are so thankful that she was there to support our family in a stressful situation.
In sum, Jennifer is an amazing photographer and a wonderful person, chose her to document your special day, you won't regret it!!

We met with a number of photographers and photography companies before we selected Jennifer and Beck and Call Photography. Some tried to oversell us, and force us to buy albums or to pay for the rights to our own photos and other add-ons we didn't want, others out priced themselves trying to rely on the quality of their photos as their main selling point.

Not Jennifer, she allowed her excellent work speak for itself. Her prices were far more affordable for what she offered then the other vendors. She was also far more accommodating in traveling around the region for our engagement shoot and our wedding (other companies charged by the mile from an arbitrary point). From the beginning, Jennifer exceeded all of our expectations for our wedding photographer. She helped myself and my fiancee feel at ease and truly enjoy our experience both during our engagement shoot and throughout our wedding day.

If you are looking for a photographer to go the extra mile for you, to provide packages to help you stay within your budget, or for a photographer willing to crawl around on the ground to get just the right shot that you will love forever...then select Jennifer...she will exceed your expectations and help provide beautiful documentation of your special day.

Jennifer was an absolute gem to work with! She produced amazing photographs that really captured the spirit of the day. Her approach was fun, creative, unobtrusive, and most of all made me feel relaxed. From our engagement session to wedding day there are photos that truly capture the relationship between me and my husband. Our posed shots are beautiful but I think Jennifer's ability to capture the candid moments are some of my favorite pictures. She was with us all day so all the moments from start to finish were captured. She was the only photographer I found that did NOT have an hour limit in her packages! She even helped bustle my dress when we just couldn't quite figure it out :-). I would definitely recommend Beck and Call Photography to any bride out there who wants a photographer that is responsive, professional, produces beautiful pictures, and is a joy to spend the day with!

I cannot say enough good things about working with Jennifer from Beck and Call Photography for my wedding. She was there from beginning to end and took such amazing photos. She really captured everything. She had great ideas for poses and candid shots. She also was really helpful with day of things for my wedding and helped us coordinate even though that wasn't her job. My train ripped and Jennifer was there to pin it up. She was amazing to work with and I would highly recommend her for your wedding or any event. We are so pleased with all the pictures we have seen so far and how quickly she gets them posted.

Jennifer was wonderful! She spent the entire day with us and truly captured the essence of our wedding. She had a very quick turnaround time with her photos and they are all very high quality. She is also professional and unobtrusive. I didn't even notice her throughout the ceremony, and yet she took so many amazing photos. She is very creative with her poses and uses light in amazing ways. I highly recommend her.

We could not have asked for more out of Jennifer as our photographer. From the very beginning she was extremely easy to work with and she is very talented. She is also reliable and went above and beyond both during our engagement pictures and on the wedding day to make sure everything ran smoothly. It is obvious she has been around weddings for a long time and even stepped in and assisted with things that were not her responsibility (placing my veil, helping with timelines, placing the flowers in my hair, making sure I always looked perfect). She worked her tail off and she is extremely reasonably priced. She was also good at "reading" my mother and was able to get the pictures she knew my mom really wanted, even when we were a little pressed for time to get going to the chapel! I would absolutely recommend Jennifer and would use her again if I had the chance! You will be so happy you did. One really cool thing she does is put up a "sneak peak" of your shots on her blog the night she takes them. The sneak peak is at least 20 of her favorite shots and it is so fun to be able to see the pictures so quickly. She will also get the memory stick of all of the pictures in the mail to you within days of your event. I was blown away with how quickly we got the beautiful photos!

I had the pleasure of working with Jennifer after searching through all vendors obsessively- because thats what brides do, right?!-I kept going back to her webpage and fell in love with her style of images, her way of capturing candids, and the value was just unbelievable. We first met her with our engagement session and we used those images for our save the dates, got constant compliments..and had me even more excited when she did a midnight release on our wedding night of our images from just a few hours prior! Nobody can believe how stunning her quality of work was and how diligent and helpful she was all night. I would highly recommend her to anybody, and have already referred a few people who have asked in just a day.

Jennifer was absolutely amazing! She was at my hotel bright and early and stayed with us through the end of the reception, late into the night. She was ready to help with anything and everything, from fixing my hair to suggesting a game of limbo when our DJ's equipment stopped working in the middle of the reception. She was such a big help and her photos are absolutely amazing! I couldn't have asked for a better photographer and I highly recommend her!

Jennifer is super excited about her line of work and the passion she has pays off in the photos she produces. Jennifer made our budget wedding look like a million bucks. The shot, angles and personal vision she has; her choices in space and light made our wedding pictures a treat to share with all of our family and friends. Jennifer is also super happy, always upbeat and very personable to work with. I can not thank her enough for her care in scouting a local space for wedding party pictures, her open and consistent communication, the quick turn over time and most of all the quality of the pictures all at an extremely reasonable price. I cant say enough about Beck and Call photography services! Jennifer was very fun to work with. She came to my wedding 6 hours before starting time and took lots of candid pictures of the family bonding before the event. During the wedding, she captured all the moments I couldn't witness due to my bridal duties. When I receive my photos in the mail, it came neatly packaged in a wooden box with a wooden thumbdrive. Just too cute! My husband and I thumbed through thousands of photos which were all so beautiful. I would definitely recommend Beck and Call Photography for your next event. I surely look forward to working with Jennifer in the future!

Jennifer was awesome, she showed up bright and early and brought treats, and hung out with us for the whole day. It was great to have every moment captured and she's so sweet and friendly that you don't feel awkward with the camera following you around. Highly recommend her to anyone.

Jennifer was beyond amazing! She did our engagement photos on short notice- the session was fun and the pictures turned out beautiful. For our wedding she made sure everyone was comfortable, was there with us all day and night and took more pictures than we could have hoped for. Our photos turned out perfect! Jennifer was amazing!!!!!! Beck and call is not just a name but her style of doing business. My hair stylist never showed, and Jennifer got right in there and created a masterpiece in a matter of minutes. She is truly a wonder. Jennifer is absolutely the best. Our Engagement and wedding pictures turned out beautiful. Whenever I show them to anyone they comment how great they are. Jennifer was wonderful to work with. We got married after the derecho hit our area leaving us with no power. Jen stayed a true professional through it all and helped in every way she could. She truly went above and beyond to make our day go as smoothly as possible. As for the pictures, she is truly amazing at what she does. My husband and I loved our pictures. I absolutely adore Jen and cannot thank her enough for the fabulous photographs she took at our wedding. She spent the entire day with my bridal party and I, starting at the salon in the morning, and by the end of the day she truly felt like a friend and part of the wedding. She made us all feel totally comfortable and made the formal portraits after the ceremony a breeze (even despite 110 degree weather!) Beyond the day of, Jen was truly diligent in getting our photos to us -- days after the wedding the photos were available online and in less than two weeks we had all the digital proofs in hand! Love our wedding photos and Beck and Call!

We were very nervous about choosing our photographer. We were referred to Jennifer by multiple friends that had used her for their weddings. They all had nothing but praise. We met her at her home and she sat down with us, answering our 1,000 questions and really calming our nerves. We loved her style and personality. My husband and I left the appointment and called her 10 minutes later to book the date!

As we were preparing for our wedding, she would respond to my emails within the hour! On the day of the wedding, she arrived at my hotel room at 8:00 AM to capture our entire day (even offering to bring me my favorite starbucks!). She caught all the most important details and the smallest moments that we didn't know we wanted.

She was so accommodating to all the guests that wanted pictures with my husband and I. Jennifer didn't miss a beat. She is affordable and the turnaround time for our pictures was less than a week. We came home from our honeymoon to an awesome surprise in my email. Jennifer had prepared a slideshow that told the story of our day perfectly.

Our wedding pictures are simply beautiful...

We recommend Jennifer to all couples. Jennifer, thank you so much for everything. You captured the most wonderful day of our lives and we are so thankful to have your photography to look back on.

Overall, Jennifer's services with Beck and Call photography is an absolute bargain compared to what you get for your money.She was always prompt with emails and answering any questions. She walked me through exactly what her photography would look like and how the day of the ceremony would go. Jennifer will spend the whole day with you on your wedding day, capturing all the memorable moments. However, her pictures (despite looking at the galleries on the website-which are BEAUTIFUL) far exceeded any of my expectations. She takes gorgeous photos without being intrusive. She very rarely gives direction-which was perfect for me. Her photo-journalistic style ensured that she captured priceless moments that did not look staged. Following the wedding, she had a youtube slideshow and the photos ready within a week. The youtube slideshow just by itself is worth the price of the package.

Jennifer from Beck and Call Photography in Fredericksburg was very responsive on every avenue for our wedding. The first time we saw the video that was apart of our package, I cried. The pictures were awesome. She was very personable, friendly and most of all knew what types of shots worked best. Jennifer was absolutely terrific! My husband and I liked her immediately when we first met her, and were drawn to her photojournalistic and candid photo style. (She also accommodated our must-have family photos.) She offers many services, but we just had pictures taken. All 1000(?) of them were terrific and tell the story of a wedding that was fun and just magical.

Perfection! Jennifer was just amazing. She works fantastic with every personality and kids to boot. There is absolutely nothing negative we could imagine saying about her. Jennifer has been a blessing to have as our photographer!!!

She was wonderful during the initial meeting and then at the bridal and engagement photo shoot she made it so fun and uplifting!

The wedding photos were incredible that she took of the whole event from start (at the hair salon!!) to the very end!!

My husband and I have been so blessed to have her involved in this so very special moment in our lives.

She cares and it shows 100%. She is very flexible and has been very flexible with us since we have been on the go since the wedding.

If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing!!!

Thank you so very much Jennifer for all that you do for all of us, to capture that special moment and have the patience with us when situations arise.

Jennifer was fantastic!! She was at my hotel room on time for pictures!! She brought here professionalism, personality and a smile. She even helped one of my bridesmaid get into her dress. She caught all the most important details and the small ones that we didn't even realize she got. She was so accommdating to all the guests that wanted pictures with my husband and I. Jennifer didn't miss a beat. She is affordable and the turnaround time for our pictures was less than a week. Our wedding pictures were simply beautiful...my husband and I are planning a private bridal session with Jennifer in the near future. We reccommend Jennifer to all couples and families too. Thank you so much Jennifer for everything. You caputred one of the most beautiful moments of ourseleves.

Jennifer was absolutely amazing!! She was worth every penny and I paid additional travel expenses. Even with travel expenses she was cheap. But most importantly, she was good. Very good. She had some great ideas about some posed shots but was also able to capture shots that were 'in the moment'. She also edits them which was nice because she has great taste. The cherry-on-top was that she is a really nice person. She was very flexible and accommodating to whatever my (now) husband and I needed.

In conclusion she had it all: cheap package (with DVDs of our photos), good quality photography, wonderful person that you don't mind hanging out with you all day

Jennifer is an amazing Photographer. The best part about her besides her ease to work with is that she absolutely loves what she does. She is very affordable and is definitely willing to work with those on a tight budget. She is reliable and with you every step of the way. Once the reception started she seemed to disappear only she hadn't, you just didn't notice her there capturing every moment. We sorted through a lot of overrated and overly confident photographers that to be honest I don't know how a couple of them could even call themselves professional photographers as a lot had very stiff and boring techniques. We are very happy with our decision to use Jennifer of Beck and Call Photography and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer. Meaning not just a wedding photographer as she doesn't focus on just one style of photography and I think that's what makes her stand out from all the others we looked at.

I am so glad I went with Beck and Call Photography. It is a small business run by Jennifer Catron. We absolutely loved working with her. She is incredibly nice, flexible, and professional. She totally bent over backwards to make our engagement and wedding photos incredible. You can tell she loves what she does. And her rates cannot be beat in the DC area!

Jennifer appropriately named her company Beck and Call. She was flexible with our schedule and did whatever needed to be done. She was very helpful to me, who knew very little about the wedding process. She captured some very beautiful and special moments without getting in the way because her photojournalistic style allows her to move about inconspicuously. She used cutting edge digital photography techniques and was very quick to send the CD of finished pictures (right after the honeymoon). Her pleasant personality and professionalism eased my mind on my wedding day!

Wedding Photos!

Beck and Call Photography did a wonderful job with my wedding photos! We got so many pictures within a few days after the wedding. She got all the pictures I was hoping for. The price was amazing! Other photographers are around $10,000 for a very limited amount of photos. I am glad I was able to get great pictures throughout the whole day for a great price. She also did my engagement photos which were wonderful as well. If I remember correctly, these photos were included in the wedding package. Overall great company/photographer. I would recommend her to anyone!

Jennifer was great! We did our engagement photos and wedding photos with her! She was up beat, fun, and a great person to have around on my wedding day. I never felt uncomfortable around her and neither did any member of my wedding party. I would definitely recommend her to anyone. The pictures were gorgeous!

Besides deciding to marry my husband, hiring Jennifer to be our wedding photographer was the best decision I have ever made. She was not only great at handling the large family I have and remaining calm, but the pictures she took were absolutely stunning. The best part was that she posted some of her pictures just hours after the wedding. All my friends and family have been not only commenting on how amazing she was, but also how jealous they are of our wedding pictures. One of them even told me she was thinking about buying a new dress and re-taking all of her photos with Jennifer. She is AMAZING!!!

Jennifer is a beautiful photographer with a beautiful personality that puts any bride at ease! She is very professional and had a smile on her face every second of the 12 hour wedding day she was with us! Thank you for everything Jennifer!

I wish several more posed pictures of me and my husband were taken out by the lake! There were only a few. That is one thing that I regret from my wedding because it is never going to come back again.

Beck and Call Photography is top notch. Jennifer was so great through the entire process from the first meeting all the way up to the wedding. She was with me literally all day and did such a wonderful job. Everyone loved her! You had no idea so was there taking pictures which is exactly what we were looking for. You'll get more action shots than you ever thought possible. Wedding photography is one place you should allocate money and these services were worth every penny and more.

Everyone thought my wedding pictures were stunning. I liked having the extra photographer (and he got a lot of nice shots). I just was disappointed in not really having any full length shots of me in my dress. Practically all the pictures cut off before the bottom of the dress. I also was disappointed there weren't more nice shots of me and my husband and me and my bridal party. I understand time is an issue but I thought a few more snaps could have been taken. Maybe less jumping shots that didn't work out so well.

The pictures we did receive are very nice-I just wanted more of those types of pictures. I really liked receiving a preview the day after our wedding.

So tips for future brides, let the photographer know exactly what you want. I know she would listen. Don't be afraid to tell her to take this picture or that. Think about time management (before the day as it can be overwhelming that day).

Overall, I think Jennifer takes stunning pictures. I just didn't receive quite the types of pictures I personally wanted to see.

When we booked Jennifer we were very excited. However, as we approached our wedding day we became concerned as she couldn't remember the package/pricing in our contract and kept losing forms we had given her among other things. On our wedding day she did a good job but we have had post-wedding issues. First, the jump drive of our photos was missing a good chunk of our photos and when asking her to send us these photos she avoided responding to us. Second, the online album proof had so many mistakes it was obvious she hadn't put enough time in to working on the album. Pages were left blank, photos had partially cropped peoples heads out, etc. When we sent our revisions/concerns back to her, we were told any more changes would be $50! We were more than upset given that her lack of attention was the reason we had made changes in the first place. After receiving our album, we found many of the pictures were not aligned properly on the page (you can't see this online). Since we didn't get anywhere with her via email & we live out of town, my mother met with her and finally got her to recognize pictures were left off our jump drive and the album had errors. She placed fault on the publisher and when they refused to reprint stating it was user error she told us there was nothing she could do. She won't fix and reprint our album even though she didn't do her job and made careless errors. If I can go on Shutterfly and make an album with aligned photos then she should be able to do the same. We believe that part of her carelessness is that she is in high demand now and doesn't have adequate time to devote to clients (which isn't an excuse!). If you want someone who will take decent pictures but not give them to you without hassle and/or charge you a pretty penny for an album you won't show people because it is poor quality then Jennifer is your girl!

After having this photographer do our engagement photo shoot and seeing the pictures, we decided to go with another photographer. The pictures were amature. There were pictures with her shadow cast on us. We were very unhappy and didn't even accept the engagement pictures she took. We walked away from our deposit. Don't be fooled by her personality. Her work is nothing like that. She relies on Photoshop to edit her pictures.
