Omg, I absolutely fell in love with Sarah! She was so much more than just a makeup artist. First of all, the makeup was phenomenal…truly gorgeous. She made me feel like an absolute angel on my wedding day. I decided to go with the luxury package and when I tell you it was so worth it, I mean it. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, and I felt so beautiful and taken care of the entire time. The professionalism, quality in products, quality of work!!!! I couldn’t recommend her more! Do it! Book with her!! I told my husband she was a nonnegotiable and boy was I right! -

Best Makeup Artist Ever!!!
I truly cannot recommend Sarah enough! She is so talented and such a lovely person. She’s not only great at application, but also knows how to make sure the makeup lasts all day, and my makeup looked amazing from the beginning to the end of my wedding night. Sarah was super helpful in giving me direction for my look, and while I had a general idea of what I wanted, she helped me refine it into the perfect look for my wedding day. I’ve truly never looked better or felt so confident.
Along with her skill, she is incredibly kind and laid-back, which made spending so much of the day with her really easy and fun. I booked the bride-only package, and it was a relief to have someone so calm and professional helping me throughout the day.
I had kind of forgotten that she mentioned the bride-only package included taking iPhone photos when/where she could throughout the day, so it was such a pleasant surprise when she shared hundreds of really well taken and beautiful iPhone photos with me the next day. They were a special bonus and were amazing to have while waiting for my photographer’s gallery. AND she also applied a little color correction to my now husband’s lovely face sunburn that he got the day before…and it looked SO much better. Truly a life saver. Choosing Sarah as your makeup artist guarantees you’re in the best hands and I cannot thank or recommend her enough! -

I had the pleasure of working with Sarah Mae for makeup services for our 25th wedding vow renewal, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From our very first interaction, she was warm, professional, and incredibly accommodating——and I have to say, she’s absolutely stunning herself, which immediately gave me confidence that I was in great hands! She really took the time to understand the look I was going for and made it come to life beautifully. I felt elegant and radiant all day, and the makeup held up perfectly through every moment.
Not only is Sarah Mae extremely talented, but she also brings such a calming and positive energy, which was so appreciated on a busy and emotional day. I felt truly pampered!
I also booked her touch-up service, and I have to say—it was 100% worth it. Knowing she was there to do quick refreshes between photos and before the reception made a huge difference. I looked fresh and camera-ready all day and night!
What made the experience even more special was that Sarah shared behind-the-scenes photos and videos she captured during the day. It meant so much to be able to relive those sweet, quiet moments that might’ve otherwise been missed.

I am a bride who has some experience with makeup so I guess you could say I’m a bit particular with my style! Sarah Mae listened to my requests and adjusted to my feedback like no other. I felt so confident working with her because she really understood the look I was going for and made sure she had the right products to accomplish that look. Outside of her skill and professionalism, she has the best personality and is such a positive, warm presence on your wedding morning. I would recommend Sarah Mae beauty 100%! -

The best MUA!
I am so glad I chose Sarah as my makeup artist for my wedding. Not only is she the sweetest person but if you keep having technical difficulties with your music while getting ready, she'll sing to you. Lol
Sarah is a rock solid makeup artist, she listens to what you want and even if you don't know what you want she'll recommend certain colors or products. Not only did my makeup come out amazing but so did my moms and my bridesmaids. Everyone looked AMAZING. -

Bridal makeup
I am 49 year old woman. I was blessed to find a second chance at love and got married to an amazing man this past weekend. Of course as a bride I did all my research especially for make up and when I found Sarah I knew she would be the one to make me look like beautiful on my wedding day and I was 100% correct!
From the moment she arrived she went to work, setting up her area. She made sure everything was sanitized and in autoclavable bags with brushes with all of our names on them. She is the Nordstrom of makeup artists I must say.
She not only made us beautiful, but she noticed I was a bit shaken and feeling overwhelmed. She started talking to me with her soothing and calming voice, and even suggested a patch to help take the edge I was feeling off. She applied the patch to my wrist and after about 15 minutes I can say I felt much better. She continued with my 83 year old mom and my mom is beautiful and has amazing skin. Sarah managed to bring out all her beauty and make my mom look the prettiest I’ve seen her, all without making her look overdone, not to mention she made up my 25 year old daughter, who is looked stunning, and she placed lashes on my stepdaughter as well. She then touched me up and made me glow!
We all felt beautiful that day because of Sarah. I cannot thank her enough for not only her amazing talent, but for her calming voice and demeanor.

Sarah is so kind, professional, and really knows her stuff! She is also always on time, quick to respond, plus is very sanitary with her products which is important! If you want someone who cares, listens to your requests/concerns, and is the ultimate hype woman on your big day, then look no further! Sarah is your gal! We did a trial on my engagement photo day, and although it was beautiful, I still wanted some tweaks for my wedding day makeup and Sarah knew how to pivot and achieve the makeup look that I wanted on my big day. She also did my mom’s makeup as well as a couple of my bridesmaids which turned out stunning! Highly recommend! -

Start to finish, Sarah was a delight to work with. Her kindness and patience is admirable. She has a ton of experience and the before and after photos are very impressive. The smile on the brides faces is what did it for me. I did a trial run and decided wedding make-up/ photoshoot make-up is not for me. Therefore, I decided to cancel day of wedding makes-up, simply because I prefer a light weight/ natural coverage and the love the way my own products look on me. Sarah handled my decision with grace. I am throughly impressed with Sarah her art, professionalism and experience is top notch. -

I chose Sarah for my bridal makeup because her work spoke for itself. However, once I had worked with her, I discovered that she offers SO MUCH MORE than just amazing, flawless makeup. She is the epitome of positive energy - the exact person you want around you when you are dealing with the endless list of wedding to-do's. She is upbeat, hilarious, supportive, and someone I wish I would have been friends with my whole life. Sarah did my makeup for my engagement photos, bridal shower, and wedding. The makeup for the engagement photos was beautiful, but after reviewing the photos, I decided I wanted a more 'natural' look for the day of the wedding, as I am someone who rarely wears makeup at all. She went above and beyond to make sure her art reflected my vision, and the end results were even better than I had hoped for. She is a perfectionist, a cheerleader, a hype-woman. Every single one of my bridesmaids (and my mom) raved about Sarah, and if you hire her, you will too. -

Sarah is a 5 star makeup artist!
Sarah is a dream to work with and you'd be seriously missing out if you do not choose her as your make-up artist. I hired Sarah to do my wedding makeup and engagement shoot makeup and she completely nailed it! As a WOC it was really important to me to make sure makeup didnt wash me out, undertones were neutral (not too pink or yellow) and I still looked like myself-- She gave me all of that and more! I got married on the hottest day of the year and my wedding makeup was on from 9am-4am and still looking perfect! No sweat, dancing, kissing, drinking or 100 degree weather budged it. My look was glowy, glam, but still kept my oily T-zone under control. Sarah really is amazing inside and out and her work speaks for itself. Save yourself the trouble and go with Sarah. -

Recommend for any event you want to look great
Highly recommend Sarah as your MUA. I’ve had her do my makeup a couple times since our trial and she is just great. She listens to what you want and delivers. I had her do my makeup for my engagement shoot, a friend’s wedding and my own wedding. (She did the makeup for my mom and I)I just need more events to go to so I can have her do my makeup. It always looks so flawless and fresh, the whole night. She gave me things to refresh my makeup, but I never needed to use any. 10/10 would recommend. -

Boy am I so thankful that Sarah was highly recommended by our venue. I have had the most amazing experience planning with her. She is so sweet and over the top talented!! It was such a pleasure getting to meet her for my trials. It was so much fun sitting in her chair and chatting like old friends. I booked her for myself, 5 bridesmaids and my mother in law. Makeup lasted ALL night and everyone loved their makeup. My bridesmaids took so many selfies I was a tiny bit worried about my mother in law since she really never wears makeup and OMG she looked amazing!!! So glamorous and elegant. everyone said I was glowing. I was stoked to see that she had pre-packed brushes for each girl, there was no concerns at all with sanitation She really goes the extra mile. Thank you for making it all perfect and making me the most beautiful bride and my girls the most beautiful bride tribe -

Flawless Every Time
Sarah is hands down the best makeup artist I have ever used. Sarah has done my makeup for my engagement photos, bridal shower, wedding, and maternity photos, and my makeup has been flawless every time. She takes the time to listen and understand the look you want so that you are happy with the end result. You also don’t have to worry about your makeup lasting all day and night, it will still look flawless hours later!
Sarah is also so friendly and easy to talk to, the time goes by so fast while she applies your makeup! -

Sarah did my makeup for my engagement, bridal trial, and entire wedding party! From my 12 year old daughter to my 70 year old mom she nailed every look! Everyone looked absolutely stunning in their own special gorgeous way. And the wedding morning was so peaceful and fun. She scheduled everything out for me so there was no rushing no stress. Just joy! Sarah brings a light and an energy into your day that is so needed and her makeup is flawless. I don’t know why I haven’t written this sooner! Sarah has helped me try two different looks for my wedding day and help me hone into the style I felt was more me for the big day! I’m so lucky to have found Sarah, I can’t imagine how it would have turned out if it wasn’t her. Do yourselves a favor and book her!!!
She is very talented and knows what to do, and on the plus side she ensures brushes/sponges and other items are clean, and safe for use. She is very professional, on time and will work with you until the end. Personally I have really, I mean really oily skin. I was touched because she made sure to find out products that will work on my skin, even if it meant doing a second trial.
The day of my wedding, our make up was on point! My make up battled with wind and rain that day, plus my already given condition of oiliness. But it held up and lasted until the end.
I’m truly grateful to have worked with such an amazing person like Sarah Mae. -

Couldn't have picked a better makeup artist for my wedding on 10.22.2021 than Sarah Mae! After stocking her Instagram for months I knew I wanted Sarah to do my makeup for my wedding! She was one of the first vendors I booked based on all the amazing reviews and I can say without hesitation that she totally lives up to the hype. From the moment I met her at my makeup trial, she put me completely at ease and I knew I'd made the right choice. My Mom and Bridesmaids loved her too! All of us wanted different looks and she was able to execute them flawlessly. She made us all feel so beautiful on my big day! The touch-up kit she provided is such a nice and thoughtful gesture and I used it all night long! Amazing and Perfect!
There are no words to perfectly describe my experience with Sarah. After my trial run with her, she asked me to be brutally honest, what I liked or didn’t, etc. She took it all into consideration for the wedding day, went above and beyond, and my makeup was PERFECT! I don’t usually wear makeup so I thought I’d be uncomfortable the whole day, but I loved how I looked and it lasted the whole night! She was on time and stuck to her schedule so that we were all done exactly when she predicted. She was so clean with all her products and how she applied the makeup. I have absolutely NO complaints! My go-to MUA will be Sarah from now on! -

Sarah is fantastic at her job! I am trying to find reasons to get my makeup professionally done just so I could hire her services again! She made me like absolutely stunning. I have never felt as beautiful as a princess until she did my makeup. She is so talented and listens very well on what you want. Sarah was a godsend! We had a COVID19 wedding and my makeup artist cancelled last minute before the wedding. My wedding coordinator highly recommended Sarah and thankfully she was still available! She's super sweet, easy to work with and was very responsive to my emails. For me, having natural looking long eyelashes was at the top of my list, including eye glitter, and she nailed it! -

I was recommended Sarah through another makeup artist through Wedding Wire, and I'm so glad I booked with her! I did a bridal trial run on the day of our engagement photos and my makeup held up for the beachy weather and even beyond after the shoot!! Sarah is a very sweet lady and professional and was understanding when COVID hit. She uses all vegan and cruelty brands which I love and it lasts! I highly recommend her and I wouldn't have wanted anybody else to do my makeup for my big day! -

I am so happy that I found Sarah for my wedding make up! I originally contacted her to do my engagement photo make up and instead did a wedding trial on the day of my engagement photos. Best idea! I was so happy with how Sarah treated me and how she made me feel like myself, just a more beautiful and confident version. She tried to understand my skin behavior (in my case oily) and tailored everything to fit my skin. This is huge! Sarah was always very responsive, and when you're planning a wedding this is so important! I was so happy with how I looked on my wedding day and received so many compliments!
