I cannot recommend Olay enough. She is an absolute professional and an expert! I booked Olay about a month or two before the wedding—after receiving advice that I should have a wedding hair stylist (rather than my normal stylist). If you are Type A like me and have limited time, you can stop your research here. Book Olay!
Despite the heat, my hair held beautifully all day and night. My curls never dropped, never frizzed, and still looked incredible the next day. That alone speaks volumes about her experience. She worked seamlessly with my makeup artist. She also helped with touch-ups throughout the day and framing my hair for the photos. Beyond the results, her calm, confident presence made the morning so much smoother. I felt listed to, and cared for, and completely confident that my hair was in the best possible hands.
From our initial consultation, I could tell that Olay had so much expertise. I showed her pictures of what I wanted for the wedding day, and she was able to point out differences between them (some were Hollywood curls, some had looser curls, etc.). She worked with the look that I wanted. I like the look of a side part, but my hairline is not there yet. During the trial when she installed clip-ins, Olay was able to show me how the hair would look with each different part. And while I loved the look that she did during the trial (and my hair was beautiful so much so that I kept those clip-ins in for some time), I decided to go with a different style for the wedding that I felt more comfortable in.
Olay was also well-versed with all the hair extension companies, and how the hair would hold up with the heat. I wanted Heat Free Hair in particular, but the wig I purchased did not look right once installed by another stylist. Two weeks before the wedding, I made the decision to purchase bundles from Heat Free Hair so the install would look more natural. After several bad experiences with stylists in the DMV, I only go to my normal stylist in Philly for a weave, so I was very nervous about getting a weave installed. When I tell you—my hair looked fantastic and was flat! Even though the hair was high maintenance (For Kurls), Olay was able to straighten it. In addition, she was thoughtful in how she installed the weave (to make sure it framed my face correctly).
Separately, it was also important to me that Olay was very responsive, organized, professional, and friendly. When reaching out to other stylists, I found this was often not the case.
And after the wedding, I went to Olay for a weave maintenance, and I’ve never had such a thorough maintenance experience. It was completed by her assistant, Quianna. Usually, stylists will avoid getting the braids wet, or will put minimal shampoo and conditioner. I think my shampoo experience was at least 45 minutes.
Also, when I removed the hair, my braid down was so moisturized. Usually, it is dry, and I lose hair, especially around the anchor braid. I believe Olay uses a different method (beehive), which helped me keep the hair growth I achieved. I am now booking her for my hair going forward!

Olay Executes perfection and embodies professionalism.
I would choose Olay time and time again! From the moment I sent my initial inquiry, I was impressed by her professionalism and prompt communication. During our consultation, she truly listened, taking note of my preferences, dislikes, overall vision, and helped me determine what would work best for me when it came to color, extension length, etc.
On my wedding day, Olay and her team arrived right on time and brought such calm, positive energy to the room. She worked efficiently, kept to schedule, and went above and beyond — even helping me get into my dress and giving my matron of honor tips for placing my veil perfectly. My curls were everything I envisioned and lasted for days after the wedding!
It was such a joy working with Olay, and I’m already looking forward to booking with her again in the future. If you’re considering her, don’t hesitate! choose Olay. She’s everything you could want and more. -

Olay is truly an expert in her field. She knows hair — natural hair, how to care for it, maintain it, and style it beautifully. So for me, choosing Olay to do my hair for my wedding was a no-brainer. I knew I could trust her with one of the most important looks of my life.
But what made Olay even more special wasn't just her skill — it was how she showed up for me emotionally on the morning of my wedding. As weddings go, things didn’t all go as planned. But Olay was there, not just as a stylist, but as a calming, supportive presence. She played gospel music to ease my nerves, reassured me when I started to feel overwhelmed, and went out of her way to make sure I felt pampered and peaceful.

1000/10 experience that every bride deserves!
Working with Olay was really special. I had two initial consultations with Olay because I was a bit concerned about maintaining my natural hair on my wedding day with all the dancing and moving around but Olay assured me that the products she uses and the upstyle would last me many hours. From that point, I knew that I would be booking her as my wedding stylist. I was really impressed with Olay's creativity and professionalism. She was very responsive and accommodating from start to finish (for example, when my hair extensions and hair color weren't an exact match, she dyed the front pieces the day before the wedding to help everything blend a bit better. I couldn't even tell there were different colors in my hair on that day and looking back at pictures). On the day of, Olay was a pleasure to talk to while I was getting my hair styled and the final product was EXACTLY what I wanted and then some. She really exceeded my expectations, and I appreciated that she put her own spin on the inspiration I provided her. I would recommend her to any and all brides looking for a top notch bridal stylist! -

From start to finish, Olay exceeded every expectation I had for my wedding hair experience. From our first communication to the day of my wedding, she was nothing short of amazing—professional, knowledgeable, kind, and incredibly flexible.
We began with an initial consultation to discuss my desired style, options, and some valuable veil advice. Olay thoroughly explained her process and made sure I felt comfortable with everything. The day before my wedding, I went in for my install, and it was absolutely perfect. Her salon was beautiful, clean, and comfortable, and she provided a full service—washing, deep conditioning, and styling my hair with expert care.
On my wedding day, Olay and her assistant, K, arrived right on time and immediately got to work. Despite a scheduling issue with another vendor that delayed the day by almost two hours, Olay remained calm and stayed with me throughout, making sure my hair was perfect. Not only that, she went above and beyond by helping calm me during a brief meltdown and even assisted with getting me dressed, along with helping other members of my bridal party.
Olay's care and dedication were more than I ever expected, and I’m so grateful to have had her by my side on my special day. 20/10—highly recommend! Brides, do yourself a favor and book Olay. She has gained a forever client in me, and I cannot thank her and her assistant enough! -

When I booked with Olay, I was so excited to work with her based on photos on line. She did not disappoint. I had no problem communicating with her and she was always so responsive and kind. She dedicated time to speak with me prior to our install appointment and I was able to make it clear what kind of style I wanted. She was very thorough in telling me what she needed to make my dream hair style for my wedding come true. It was truly a pleasure working with her. I felt even more comfortable in her salon during my install. Her and Quianna took time with my natural hair and I could tell that they cared about my hair and not just getting the style right. On the day of the wedding, she arrived on time and she was very patient and professional even with minor interruptions such as people talking to me or asking me questions. She gave me a time line in advance and it was so helpful in order to coordinate with the make up artist. I enjoyed this seamless process so much. I have never felt more beautiful in my entire life. The hair style came out even better than I could of imagined. I only wish I could have rocked that hairstyle forever. Thank you Olay for everything. Olay was recommended by our wedding planner and I am SO GRATEFUL! First and foremost my hair looked AMAZING! I have had plenty of terrible hair experiences, but Olay had me on cloud 9. My hair has never looked so good.
At the start of my planning, I reached out to Olay to determine if she'd be a good fit. As soon as I spoke with her I was immediately sold. I had two ceremonies with only a day in between. I explained my situation and Olay had the perfect plan already in place. She explained her process, what she would do and what I would need to do. By the end of the conversation I was ready to lock in my date and secure her services.
Once I locked in her services she had my official consultation and my install appointment scheduled. I went about my planning and didn't have to think about my hair again. I received multiple reminders of our consultation. However, I was the worst and so overwhelmed. I completely missed my consultation appointment. Once I realized I made the mistake, I was absolutely MORTIFIED. Despite me wasting her time, Olay was so professional and understanding. She helped me reschedule and had me covered.
On the day-of Olay and Quianna showed up on time, set up and had me done ahead of schedule. They made getting ready so fun and relaxing which definitely helped ease my day-of anxiety. We were in the corner laughing and making TikToks!

Olay was phenomenal to work with for my wedding day! When booking her service, the website was super easy to navigate and very detailed in the different styles and packages she offered. First Olay Hair the actual location is a very pleasant atmosphere, place is extremely clean area! On arrival you are on appointment ofcos and Greeted very warmly upon entrance and seated almost immediately. Truth all the times I have had my hair washed never had it done like it was done at Olay’s, it reminded me so much of spa 🧖♀️ treatment I enjoyed it and it had me relaxing 😌. Absolutely cannot recommend this salon enough, i found them while searching instagram for a bridal hair stylist because I wanted someone specific for natural hair and I don’t regret it, quality services.
Their Pricing is more than reasonable because their results speak for themselves, honestly after you see your hair done (you will just give her all your money) their work is just so neat trust me. I highly recommend Olay Hair. On my wedding 💒 😀 she was the first vendor on site talk about time management. I was truly impressed.Her team was amazing! She’s so skilled and so sweet with her clients .
After booking her for your wedding you can do trials if you want but when I saw her previous works and reviews from previous brides truth is I didn’t want one because I know and can tell what and who is good when I see it or her . And for me wedding hair , this is the only salon that I could trust to properly deal with my hair exactly like they did. Her extensive knowledge and skill are truly unmatched.

Like every bride, I wanted to ensure I had the absolute best bridal hairstylist for my big day. I found Olay via Instagram. Words cannot express how elated I still am to have found her. From the moment we discussed my intricate TWO hairstyles for ONE day, she was caring about my wants/needs. During my consultation, she reviewed options (even down to hair pieces) and explained everything in great detail. From the moment she arrived to my bridal suite, she was warm, caring, professional, and extremely down to earth. She moved with such ease and went far beyond her duties as a hair stylist. The biggest compliment you can receive is sometimes by someone who does the exact same work that you do and let me tell you, my bridal party is still raving because they saw first hand the level of creativity she possesses. She’s truly a gem and any one who hires her is absolutely blessed to have her. I can’t promise any more vow renewals but she definitely has a customer for life. -

I can not thank Olay enough! Olay brought my dream wedding hair to LIFE!!! I booked her services super late(like 2 weeks away from my wedding) but she was super responsive and VERY helpful with a vision! She recommended a quality hair vendor(still wearing the hair) which she was confident that I would receive the hair on time(I did).
Install day was so fun and relaxing! Her cleanliness is outstanding!! My install was perfect! On wedding day, she came in and set up her station! With so many things going on around us, I was her focus! She was fun, personable and slaaaayyyyed my wedding hair!!! She had full creative control btw!
But wait, there’s more!!!! My hair was finished but with time getting away from us, Olay and Q(her assistant) got me dressed! Wow! She even lotioned me up! Lol!! Recommended very highly! I love the way Olay made me feel, so comfortably along the way from beginning to end! My experience with Olay was great! From the moment I got in touch with her she was very responsive, personable and willing to listen to all my wants/ needs when it came to my hair for the big day. Having short and natural hair for almost two years at the time I was feeling some pressure leading up to the wedding to do something special but, also not so sure what styles would hold up through an outdoor summer wedding ( I still thank the lord the weather was perfect). Initially, I wanted my hair to be straightened but, when it frizzed up immediately after the trial I was in full panic mode about what to do. Olay kept it cool and came up with the perfect style both fun and elegant that matched me perfectly. Not to mention the styles I selected for my bridesmaids were nothing short of Boho Perfection. She's great when taking into account all factors and really does her best to make sure you are satisfied with her work. Thanks Olay! -

Olay has taken care of my hair since October of last year. After several months of looking for a hairstylist that works with all textures of hair (straight, curly, permed, and natural) I decided to book Olay for my wedding. Best decision I made. We booked a hair trial and I fell in love with the style. A few months later I saw a completely different style that I wanted and hesitated to tell her but she was responsive and so nice about accommodating the change. I also changed my getting ready time for the big day and she was very flexible about it! My bridesmaid loved their hair and most importantly I loved my hair. Olay stayed during my bridal suite pictures and touched up my hair. She even followed us outside and touched up my hair after each gust of wind!. Her assistant was also very nice and helpful. Olay even whipped out a needle and thread and sewed up my bridesmaids dress after it started to come apart. She served many roles that day and I would not have wanted anyone else to do my hair. She waited for my husband and I to get in the Uber as we were the last ones to catch our Uber. Olay is professional, sweet, and has a very wonderful personality. She is full of life and I am so thankful for her -

There isn't enough space to express how AMAZING my experience was with Olaitin Olay's services for my wedding! Olay and Quianna were the absolute best choice for my wedding. From the looks on her Instagram page, I could tell she was talented but the experience in her shop for my install, her interaction on the morning while getting ready, and even the extra help she provided once I put my dress on was outstanding. She doesn't just make sure your hair looks good, she makes sure you look great in every detail. She makes sure your comfortable and calm on your big day, so you don't have to worry about anything! Plus my hair was PERFECT!!! Don't look any further, Olay is all you need! -

Olay was contacted by my planner when we were in a pinch where another hair stylist canceled my wedding day hair at he last minute. I immediately went into panic mode and stylist referrals came my why to review work etc. I made a decision to go with Olay and we had a lengthy consultation to discuss my vision of wedding hair etc. She communicated well through the process . My hair was installed a few days prior to the wedding and the day of the wedding she completed my style. My only reservation was the braids were a little loose for my liking, the actually laying of the extensions were perfect.
Day of wedding she and her team arrived on time and began to set up and started working on my updo her style. She notified my in the beginning, she wouldn't be staying to the end (well at least until after makeup was complete), which was kind of a bummer in the moment what can you do. This process did take some and seemed a little to long for the kind of style I received since my entire head was not being curled just the bang area. Nonetheless, she completed my style placed hair piece on my head, put the earrings on as well and showed one of my bridesmaids how to place the veil once it was time to do so. I really loved my hair style as I rarely wear it up as it is always down. Olay does beautiful work and has a really soft touch when styling my hair. -

I did prior business with Olaitin and was surprised I was blocked from setting future appointments with her. I left a voicemail message on her cell phone, as well as a typed message via Styleseat. No response. I recall sending her a text message some time back before then asking a question and she never responded. This was one of my weirdest encounters with a stylist. I was not a difficult customer and there was never a bad exchange between us, which makes this even more bizarre.
I had 2 on time visits with her. The last appt I had to cancel because she did not offer any payment options accept Cashpay app for deposits, nor did she seem the least bit interested in other options.
Months later I tried to reschedule online and realized I was blocked. ???
What I did not understand is how someone who is as STRICT as she is about No calls and No Shows ignored my text(s) and voice mail message. And based on one of her reviews on another site, I’m not the first one she “ignored”. It was OK for her NOT to return phone calls or texts but it’s NOT OK for someone to stand her up and NOT call her or NOT show up. Hypocrisy at its best.
I thought she was a professional. But, no, she'sreally just a professional hairstylist. A consummate professional doesn’t do business this way and then hide behind their phones.
