  Sue goes above and beyond

  I am so happy I booked Sue for my wedding day! She did my pre-wedding tan and wedding day makeup! She also helped my leading ladies absolutely GLOW by doing their makeup too! In the days leading up to my wedding, when Sue heard that my hairstylist could no longer do my hair after getting COVID, she immediately reached out to my hairstylist to try to help someone fill in so I didn’t have to stress about it! Sue is the absolute best and really went above and beyond to help me look (and feel) beautiful.

  Beautiful Hair and Makeup

  Sue did a fantastic job! I ended up doing two hair and makeup trials due to postponing the wedding for a year (COVID), and Sue remembered my feedback from the previous time and worked on updating my look a little bit. Also due to COVID my bridal party changed drastically as did our ceremony timeline, and Sue was really easy to work with to reconfigure the contract and services for the day. Sue is so sweet in person and provided tons of good makeup and hair tips to people as well, and she gave me good recommendations on skin care to prep for the big day. She also provides this really great packet of information for your big day - to include pictures of your trial looks, schedule for the day, and many other pieces of information that were easy to copy and paste for the other girls getting services. Most importantly, my hair and makeup turned out amazing - I'm totally obsessed with the look!!! I normally don't wear makeup at all, but I honestly forgot I was wearing makeup. It was really light and didn't feel gross by the end of the day, and she used individual fake eyelashes since those seemed to be the only ones that didn't bother my eyelids. When I initially told her that I wanted bright red lips (to match my "Lisa Frank" wedding color scheme) she actually had me try 4 or 5 various shades of pink and lighter red before putting the bright red on just to make sure that was what I actually wanted because it's so strong. I appreciated that she really wanted me to look my best and wanted me to be sure of what I wanted, and in the end the bright red lip was amazing!! My hair stayed up all day - which is incredible given the sheer volume of very thick hair that I have. I got so many compliments on my look, I have never felt more beautiful. I would absolutely recommend Sue to anyone, and I would use her again in the future. Thank you Sue!!

  I cannot thank Sue enough for all she did to make our daughter’s wedding day so special! Her professionalism, kindness, calm demeanor, supportive nature, and true talent with hair and makeup set the tone for what proved to be the perfect wedding day for Caroline and Tyler. The assistant she brought along that day was equally kind and professional, and deserving of high praise for her talent and helping to set the perfect tone of relaxation while offering top-notch beauty services. Every one of us getting our hair and makeup done felt listened to and pampered, and beautiful!! Wonderful experience!

  The best hair and make up artist!

  Sue was beyond amazing to work with. She was responsive and extremely organized throughout the whole process. She took my vision for my hair and make up and knocked it out of the park. My hair and make up lasted the entire day/night (and we were hardcore dancing on the dance floor). I could not be more satisfied with Sue's work. She was so fun and easy to get along with. If you are looking for a hair and make up artist look no further than Sue. You will NOT be disappointed.

  Sue and her team are one of a kind!

  My wedding planner recommended Sue and I could not be happier that she agreed to do my hair on my wedding day! Sue and her partner were there early to set everything up and to make sure everything went smoothly for everyone. They were both kind and patient with the entire party and I could not be more thankful- as this kept the day calm and enjoyable. Every single person loved the outcome! I opted for an up-do so my hair would stay out of the way for the entire day. It was elegant and absolutely beautiful! We picked out the hair accessory during my trial. My veil loosened my hair up a bit, but Sue was nice enough to give me a bridal kit with emergency supplies. Thank you for being a part of my dream team, Sue!

  10/10 recommend! I felt so beautiful on my wedding day!

  Don't hesitate to hire Sue for your wedding hair! She did a phenomenal job on me and all 6 of my bridesmaids. We were not rushed for time and everyone was so pleased with their hairstyles that matched their style and personality. For day of, I wanted a little more volume than trial, so Sue seamlessly made the edits and I LOVED how the style turned out. Feels like you're hanging with one of your girlfriends which also helps make the day that much more special! Also, her communication is so thorough and clear, which made changing dates a few times so smooth. I knew I could count on her! Highly recommend. :)

  Sue made us all look our best

  Sue was very understanding of my own wants and needs for my wedding day make up in addition to all of my bridesmaids. She even gave us helpful hints on how to steam my dress while she did our makeup. She was flexible with my schedule when I had to multiple times reschedule my trial make up session due to unforeseen work circumstances. She was also able to do 6 women in only 4 hours. Would highly recommend!

  Sue was very easy to work with. I thought she did a fantastic job with my hair and makeup without making me look “overdone”. I felt like the prettiest version of myself, which is what every bride wants on their wedding day!

  Sue is an amazing makeup artist and hair stylist! She is incredibly easy to work with - not only is she responsive (usually responding within a few hours), but she’s also a genuinely kind person. She was super understanding when I messaged her to schedule a second hair trial. I also loved that she gave me a little touch up kit on my wedding day, which I found really thoughtful. She really made me feel amazing on my wedding day and I can’t recommend her highly enough!

Sue was prepared, timely, used incredible products, very knowledgeable about all the products she was using, and overall was a great person to work with! My trial (in her home) was fun and relaxed and she really listened to my vision for the day. And the day of, Sue re-created that vision perfectly! Would definitely recommend her to any Northern Virginia area bride!

Sue listened to what I wanted during my trial and even accommodated me for a second pre-wedding hair trial when I had a minor freak out about changing the style. She was easy going on my wedding day and was able to make small changes throughout the styling process to give me the perfect look! Her makeup application is natural and lasted all day and night! My mom and sister were extremely happy with their hair and makeup as well. Highly recommend!

  Outstanding service

  Suzanne was very accommodating and extremely professional. When I changed my dress last minute (a week before the wedding) I also needed to change my hairstyle even though I had done a trial. She was very responsive and helped give me the exact look I wanted. She arrived on time and was so fun to talk to! I would absolutely recommend her service to anyone in the northern Virginia area.

  We hired Suzanne to the makeup and hair for our wedding (mine, my mom’s, and my husband’s mom and sister) – she was absolutely fantastic. We had our wedding close to home in Baltimore, and Suzanne happily made the trek. Throughout the process, she was attentive and responsive to all of my concerns. I was initially a little apprehensive that as she would be working alone, hair and makeup would take a significant chunk of time on the day of. Not only was it totally it to have her apply everything herself, but she even worked around my schedule so that I could be done first and head out for the first look. It worked out perfectly – she did an incredible job and my hair and makeup held up for the following 10 hours, even through an outdoor ceremony and some sweaty dancing! I really can’t recommend Suzanne enough. She is a tireless professional and really goes out of her way to make sure everything is done flawlessly.

  Sue is the best! I wouldn't trust anyone else with my hair or makeup for such an important day. Did did beautiful loose curls, a side braid, and extensions because I've always dreamed of long hair on my wedding day. She even died a few of the extensions blue so I could have my "something blue"

  Highly recommend Suzanne

  Suzanne did an AMAZING job with my and my wedding parties hair and makeup! She is the sweetest person and really wants to make sure you feel beautiful and confident on your wedding day 😊 When I had my trail I was happy with the look however later on I felt that my hair might have looked a little too flat and I communicated that to Suzanne, she told me that she had some ideas to add more volume to my hair and that we could certainly change that. On my wedding day we talked about the changes and honestly she made my hair and makeup look BETTER then what I ever imagined!! I got so many compliments and everyone kept on asking me who did my hair and makeup. My bridal party and my mom also LOVED there look, Suzanne did an amazing job!! The entire process was a great experience, Suzanne always answered my questions right away and really listened to what I wanted 😊 Also, Suzanne also provides other services which was great! A few days before my wedding I got a spray tan from her it was my first time ever and she explained everything to me and I absolutely LOVED my tan (did not look orange at all which is what I was worried about), I got so many compliments! I also got my eyelashes permed, also first time and absolutely LOVED it!! I would HIGHLY recommend Suzanne!!!

  Suzanne did an AMAZING job with my and my wedding parties hair and makeup! She is the sweetest person and really wants to make sure you feel beautiful and confident on your wedding day 😊 When I had my trail I was happy with the look however later on I felt that my hair might have looked a little too flat and I communicated that to Suzanne, she told me that she had some ideas to add more volume to my hair and that we could certainly change that. On my wedding day we talked about the changes and honestly she made my hair and makeup look BETTER then what I ever imagined!! I got so many compliments and everyone kept on asking me who did my hair and makeup. My bridal party and my mom also LOVED there look, Suzanne did an amazing job!!   Suzanne was an absolute dream come true! I had originally booked hair and makeup with a different artist who was closer to my venue, but after the trial turned out less than perfect, I contacted Suzanne with only a couple months before my actual wedding date. She was so quick to respond and fit me in to her schedule right away. We had a trial where she made me feel right at home and comfortable. Even after I went home and decided the hair wasn't exactly how I wanted it, Suzanne scheduled me for another trial to make sure everything was perfect! Suzanne even took initiative and contacted me herself to tell me she was going to look for other fake eyelashes for me since she didn't thing the ones she had used in the trial fit me as well as they could have.
  
  On the day of Suzanne arrived promptly and gave everyone exactly what they wanted. My mother-in-law and bridesmaids all commented on how great she was and how she showed them pictures of different options so they could make informed decisions. All-in-all Suzanne was an angel. She calmed my panic at my last minute change of hair/makeup artist and did a perfect job to boot! I'm so glad she fit me into her schedule because I looked exactly how I wanted and it held up all through the night!

  Sue was absolutely incredible. She did exactly what I requested. My hair held the whole night long and I got compliments from everyone. I really wanted airbrush makeup and with Sue she made it possible. She brought everything she needed to complete my look. I felt stunning!

  Everything about working with Suzanne was easy. She was prompt and reliable and even managed to fit in an extra person on the day of the wedding (when she would have had every right to say no). Everyone loved the results with hair and makeup, and she managed to be both friendly and professional.

She was a true professional - she responded to all my emails with questions and requests pretty quickly and was very accommodating to my wants and needs. She came all the way up to Frederick with her assistant for the wedding, and they worked with me, my bridesmaids, my mother and stepmom and mother-in-law on their hair and/or makeup. Everyone looked fantastic! I'd highly recommend her for anyone's wedding!!! THANK YOU SUE!

Plus she made me look nice nd tan with a spray tan I did a few days prior. Pics came out great and I felt like a Hollywood star thanks to Suzanne! And she did my mom and sisters make and they looked just as fabulous as I did!
