I’ve had my makeup done professionally many times over the years, and Katie is truly the best I’ve ever worked with. She did both my hair and makeup for my wedding, along with my entire bridal party, and everyone looked absolutely stunning. I’ve never had so many bridesmaids rave about how much they loved their hair and makeup—it was such a testament to Katie’s incredible talent and attention to detail.
Not only is she incredibly skilled, but she was also such a calm and kind presence on a busy, emotional day. I also booked her for touchups (highly recommend, especially with the July heat in Nashville!), and I’m so thankful I did—she made sure I looked flawless from start to finish and even waited in between pictures to make sure everything was perfect.
She’s incredibly talented, professional, and kind — the kind of person you need by your side on such an important day. I can’t recommend Katie and Beauty By K2 enough for your next big day! -

Katie is amazing! I was able to go to her for bridal skin prep and facial prior to the wedding and it was so fun getting to know her. I cannot thank her and her team enough for accommodating for a huge bridal party and a tight schedule we had. Her team was even able to add on a few last minute hair and makeup’s for my aunts. Katie made me feel my most beautiful and really listened to what I was wanting on my wedding day.

The BEST skincare, tanning, hair & makeup
Katie is AMAZING!! She was top notch in terms of communication & truly making you feel super special during the planning process and during the wedding weekend. She does everything a bride would hope for in on (skincare, tanning, hair & makeup) which really helps having the same vendor for everything related to skin & hair. She puts together a short deck on what to expect and how to prepare for each session which made it easy for me to understand expectations and was something I could just forward to my bridesmaids so they’d also be prepared. She is very responsive and flexible and was magically able to make a last minute hair & makeup request work for my rehearsal dinner. I was OBSESSED with both looks that I had for my rehearsal dinner and for my wedding day!! She not only made me look unbelievable but she also was feeding me compliments to truly give me all the confidence. Everyone else who had hair & makeup done by her or her team also said it was the best hair and makeup they’ve received. 10/10 would recommend her for all the services she offers. She truly was my favorite vendor to work with. -

Working with Katie was one of the highlights of our wedding. I went to Katie at Nashville Skin Studio for all my facials and skin prep in the lead up to the wedding week, and have never felt better about my skin even amidst all the stress! Katie handled making a schedule for the day of, so my bridesmaids and I never even had to worry about it. We had a variety of hair types, lengths, and everyone had their own personal styles - and Katie and her team made everyone look and feel like the best version of themselves. Everything they used was high quality and executed flawlessly - our hair and makeup held up through crazy wind taking pictures outside, and all the way until the end of the after party. I cannot recommend Katie enough, and hope to work with her again! -

Katie is SO precious, and I cannot say enough great things about her! She went above and beyond to make sure that everything was perfect for our wedding day. She was so communicative, which I very much appreciated. She is very easy to talk to in person (HUGE for me!), and from the trial to the big day, I was so impressed with her work. Her team also did hair and makeup for our friends' wedding, which is how I heard about her, and I got so many compliments on both occasions. I cannot say enough great things about this team! Katie and her team were amazing! I usually don't wear a lot of makeup so I wanted it to look more natural and it was perfect and not overdone. My hair turned out exactly how I wanted it as well. I did a half up half down look with extensions. I got so many compliments on both my hair and makeup. My bridesmaids' and mom's hair/makeup up was gorgeous as well and they were all very happy with it. My reception was mainly outside in the August heat and my hair/makeup stayed perfect the entire night. Everyone couldn't believe how good it still looked at the end of the reception. -

Wow! Where do I even begin!? I've worked with Katie a few times for photoshoots and makeup lessons (I'm completely hopeless when it comes to makeup) so when I got engaged, I knew I needed Katie to do my make-up for my big day (and rehearsal dinner) and she was one of the first vendors I booked. I cannot say enough great things about Katie! She truly is an artist and always make me feel like a super model. She really listens to what your vision is and executes it perfectly (even when I have no idea how to describe what I actually want). She was so easy to communicate with and made everything so simple. Prior to my wedding day, we did a trial run to make sure we were on the same page and she also did my makeup for my rehearsal dinner which I loved! All my bridesmaids loved their makeup too and couldn't stop raving about what a great job Katie and her team did (we've been in enough weddings and have some horror stories so that's saying a lot). My makeup lasted the entire day/night which is no easy task with an outfit change and hours spent on the dance floor. Not only are her makeup skills incredible but she is such a kind person and someone I've loved getting to know over the years. Seriously. If you need a makeup artist for your wedding day, book Katie! You won't regret it! -

Katie and her team are truly outstanding. We had a large group of women getting ready, and they worked quickly and efficiently to make sure everyone was ready on time. In addition, they were just all-around lovely to talk to!
Also, as a bride who had an allergic reaction the night before the wedding, I was immensely grateful for Katie, specifically, for making it look like it never happened.

A professional who truly cares!
So amazing! Very prompt with responses, arrived early to the venue and was very efficient with her set up so we could get started quickly! She and her assistant were very creative and listened to exactly what we wanted. They were also both kind enough to help us with our makeup and give us advice since we didn’t have a professional make up artist on the big day. To me, that was above and beyond anything I could have asked for! Once we were all done, they both gave us some touch ups on hair right before pictures, really shows they care about their work. I would definitely hire her again! -

I would hire Katie over and over again. She was accommodating when we had to change our wedding date shortly after booking. My hair looked EXACTLY like the photo I showed her. Chatting with her during my trial was so much fun and it made me look forward to seeing her again the day of the wedding. Katie is the BEST of the BEST! She was hired for hair and make up at my friends wedding and remember thinking, I have to hire her when it is my time to get married. Fast forward 3 years and she was the first vendor I booked. She is beyond accommodating and makes everyone feel at ease. I had a dermaplane facial the week of my wedding as well as a spray tan all done by Katie. Everything looked AMAZING. The K2beauty team was able to easily execute hair and make up for 8 bridesmaids, 2 moms, 1 aunt, 1 flower girl, and the bride without any issues. My makeup and hair stayed put all day and night and I couldn't have been more pleased with the experience! HIGHLY RECCOMEND KATIE and her team! You will not be dissapointed. -

Katie and her team made us feel pampered and relaxed the entire morning. Every other hair and makeup vendor I contacted was unwilling to travel to the venue to perform their services or charged a ridiculous fee to travel to us. Katie’s pricing was very reasonable, her team traveled to us for no extra cost, and they used high-quality products. I never had to reapply or touch up anything! My hairstyle was also comfortable and never fell out of place despite my cathedral veil accidentally tugging on it at times. 10/10 recommend Katie and her team! -

Katie was amazing! I used her for my wedding makeup and also for pre-wedding facials and derma-planing, which I highly recommend because not only was my face in perfect shape for wedding day, but I got to know Katie a little more leading up to the big day. She listened to what I wanted makeup wise and was able to create it amazingly for the day. I loved the airbrush because it made my skin look amazing without feeling the heavy weight of typical foundation. She also did an incredible job on my mom and bridesmaids. Everything was perfect!
Katie was recommended to me by a friend and I am so glad I booked with her!! At the trial, I had some adjustments I wanted to make for the hair and make up and she absolutely exceeded my expectations on my wedding day— creating the hair and make up I had envisioned! Definitely recommend booking a trial and bringing pictures so she can make your vision come true, too. I did a boho up-do for my hair and a more natural look for my make up. She and her team were timely, professional, and so fun to be with while we were getting ready. If I could get married again, I would choose her again!! Also, my make up (and my bridesmaids’ make up) looked flawless in the wedding photos. Katie also offers skin care services, so I did dermaplaning and an oxygen facial with her almost a week before the wedding— my skin felt so clean and I felt like the make up applied better because I had done those services. Katie is perfection at her talents! My makeup trial was so smooth and fun. She was on time and was enjoyable to talk with. We also did a trial for a spray tan which I was very nervous about. She talked me through every step and I felt so comfortable. Couple days before my wedding I did my spray tan- went home and messed up my tan. I texted her in tears about it. She waited for me to come back to Nashville, offered me wine, and fixed my tan with no charge.
The day of my wedding was also perfect. She applied my makeup beautifully! She was on time and just so sweet through the entire process. I highly recommend her for makeup, hair, and tanning! -

Working with Katie from Beauty By K2 was the most PERFECT decision I could have made for my wedding. She is an incredibly kind, down to earth person and very talented at hair and makeup. Her communication was timely and organized, and she listens to your vision, takes in any pictures you show her, and gives you exactly what you ask and more!
Katie and her team also did hair and makeup for my mother and mother-in-law, along with 8 of my bridesmaids and everyone felt beautiful and flawless! AND all of our hair and makeup stayed all day and night in the summer 90 degree heat!
Not only is Katie’s work absolutely stunning, but she is a genuine, fun-loving person which makes the experience of getting ready so amazing! I highly, highly recommend Katie and her team- my wedding wouldn’t have been the same without her! -

Dreamy wedding hair and makeup!!!
You cannot do better than Beauty by K2! I was definitely not the most organized bride and waited until kind of last minute to find my beauty team for my big day- Katie went above and beyond to fit my wedding into her schedule last minute. I had FIFTEEN women that needed hair and make-up done in about a 3 hour time block before we started pictures before the wedding. Katie and her team were not only efficient, kind and fun to work with but every single one of my girls looked BEAUTIFUL! And she brought my bridal hair and makeup dreams to life- my makeup was glowy and dewy with a hint of glam but I still felt like I looked like myself. And I am a girl with a LOT of thick wavy hair and Katie put it in the most beautiful, romantic up-do. Could not have made the getting ready portion of my day a better experience! Katie is the best and I've got all the beautiful wedding pictures to prove it :) -

Katie is simply the best!
Katie is absolutely wonderful! She has the sweetest disposition and her talent is exceptional. Katie did my hair and make up for my wedding day (along with my bridesmaids) and she did a phenomenal job.
She made me look and feel beautiful inside and out. I trusted her implicitly and simply asked her to do whatever she thought would look best and she did not disappoint. The look was natural with a hint of glam and was better than I imagined.
Not only is she super talented, but she is also Superwoman! Katie spent all morning getting us dolled up and she was 3 weeks postpartum...can you imagine?!?! I know it had to be difficult to be away from her sweet little one and still recovering. I can't praise this kind, sweet, and brilliantly gifted mama enough. Anyone that hires her is in good hands! -

Beauty by K2 did such an incredible job with not only my hair/make up (the bride) but my entire bridal party’s (there were 10 of them + 3 additional family members)! The entire night everyone was complimenting us! Katie was so flexible with my bridal trial since I was an out of town bride! Can I just also mention she also was 9 months pregnant the day of my wedding and didn’t miss a beat! Her entire team arrived on time, completed everyone’s hair/make up timely and just were a fun, easy to talk to group to be around! Wonderful Experience
Katie was amazing! Our big wedding got postponed due to COVID and we decided to do a small intimate ceremony. With a change of plans, I needed to find hair and makeup ASAP. Katie was responsive and informative as I asked questions ahead of time. Day-of, she was just as wonderful! She was friendly and warm and managed to keep things moving on time. I cannot tell you how lucky I was to find Katie. Leading up to the day, she was on top of everything putting me completely at ease. On the day, she was early and immediately understood what kind of look we should do when seeing my dress. She made sure I was comfortable and constantly asked my opinion. I spent a long time researching hair and makeup artists, and Katie was the perfect fit! Katie did an AMAZING job on my hair, makeup, and spray tan for my wedding day. She also styled my three bridesmaids, my mom, and mother-in-law with the help of one assistant.
I wanted to feel beautiful, and l wanted to look different than I normally do but didn't want to be overdone. I will be honest, at my trial, I was very hesitant about the makeup. I am not one who wears it a lot so it took me getting used to seeing myself with more than just mascara on. I got my bridal pictures done the day of my trial (which is so beneficial to see how your makeup photographs and to practice posture, just FYI). Katie told me to see how the makeup looked with professional pictures before we made any changes, because I was very anxious that my husband wouldn't be able to recognize me. I uploaded pictures of how it looked through the lens of a cell phone versus that of professional pictures. I am SO glad I listened to Katie, because the pictures were beautiful! I still looked natural and my eyes popped; my face did not looked 'caked' on. I actually told her to add more makeup on the day of the wedding! The professional pictures that I included are from the day of the wedding with the additional makeup. I have a LOT of hair, and she managed to pin it all up and used all the hairspray to make sure it stayed. And I now have a new favorite hairspray because my hair did not look crunchy/shiny AT ALL, and my hair stayed in place all night even through 90 degree heat and dancing for hours! I can't say enough about Katie and her work!! She even sent me hair gel recommendations for my husband to use on the day of the wedding because he would have ended up looking like someone from the Jersey Shore, otherwise.
P.S. Future brides, airbrush makeup is amazing if you have never had it. I had a summer wedding and knew I would be sweating a lot. On the day of my trial, I wanted to really test out its durability. I took a bottle of water and sprayed my face profusely. I blotted it dry, and it was like it had never been touched. It's amazing! -

WOW! Where do I even start? Katie is an incredible makeup artist, hair stylist, and person!! I love that she offers a trial before your wedding day to be sure your look is exactly what you have envisioned. Katie did my hair, makeup, and spray tan for our special day. Nichole, Katie's assistant did a wonderful job as well! They worked their magic on all 6 of my bridesmaids, me, and my mother. Not only did they stay on schedule, but everything looked perfect! It was special to see my mom all made up. She never dresses up and Katie made sure she was happy and comfortable throughout the process. I scheduled a spray tan a few weeks before the wedding day to try it out and she did a wonderful job. My skin had a beautiful glow both times. Very natural! Michelle Sent on 10/14/2018I cannot say enough wonderful things about Katie! Finding the right individual to entrust with your hair and makeup for your wedding day can be an incredibly daunting task. Not only was Katie incredibly professional – always immediately responding to my emails when I had inquiries, sending me a detailed schedule for services she’d be providing the day of (and sticking to it), and also making sure that I was 100% happy with how I looked both at my trial and on my wedding day, but she is also incredibly talented. At my trial Katie played around with different techniques based upon my skin tone, preferences, and even developed the perfect lip shade by looking at a photo of my bouquet. Katie also did both my mother and MIL’s makeup (neither of which wear any makeup regularly), and they looked absolutely stunning - and continue to receive compliments!
After receiving my photos I still can’t believe that Katie was able to make me look as good as she did. Choosing to work with her was one of the best, and easiest decisions, I made. As a self-proclaimed newbie when it comes to hair and makeup, the only thing I knew that I wanted for sure when it came to both was a minimal look; I wanted to look like the best version of myself. I didn’t want heavy foundation and eye makeup or hairsprayed-to-death locks on my wedding day - and I was worried before our trial that’s what I might get with a professional hair and makeup artist.
