Perfect hair and makeup!

Working with Jill was the best. I had my makeup trial and engagement session makeup done by her. She was very professional and very responsive to my emails. On my wedding day, she was right on time and my makeup and hair were perfect for my special day. I can't thank her enough for making me feel beautiful on my wedding day!

Wedding hair & make up

This is my second time working with Jill, first time was for my sister’s wedding. For my wedding, I had contacted Jill because I already knew her work and had a great experience working with her. She did a lovely job with my hair and make up for both my trial session and wedding day. Jill and her team were prompt and professional on my wedding day and my bridal party looked beautiful. Beautiful & Affordable

When researching for a makeup artist, it’s easy to get overwhelmed with all the options and competitors, but I chose Jill because of her beautiful work (looked up her IG profile) and affordability. She offers packages and I chose the engagement & wedding day makeup. Her and her team did my bridesmaids, mom and mother in law makeup day of the wedding as well. Jill and her team were all so sweet, accommodating and were able to make everyone’s preferences and ideal look possible.

Amazing make up and hair!

Jill did my hair and make up for my wedding, just the way I envisioned for my big day! I couldn’t be happier! My bridesmaids all loved their hair and make up as well! Jill is super professional, prompt, easy to talk to and super nice. Just overall the best!!

A wonderful, stress free, beauty experience

I highly recommend Beauty by Jill. I spoke to many hair and makeup professionals looking for a person who I felt comfortable enough with to do hair and makeup for my daughter's wedding—after speaking to Jill, my choice was made easy. I could tell she was an experienced artist.
My daughter’s and bridesmaid's hair and makeup turned out beautiful. Jill was also prompt and finished within our timeline.
I would definitely use Beauty by Jill again in the future.

Jill is great! I tried my bridal trial and I was amazed at how well I looked. The day of my wedding I looked even better. She knows exactly what she is doing. The airbrush makeup is something I had not tried before but I really liked it for my wedding. It stayed on the whole night and also the fake lashes. My eyes looked amazing. Lots of my guests commented on my makeup. Thanks Jill. Very responsive and professional. felt like a princess

I have 8 bridesmaid, so Jill and her team were amazing in getting everyone's makeup and hair done on time, and top notch skills too! My makeup and hair was amazing, and I didn't even need to reapply! I was super budget conscious and Jill fitted within my budget, but she delivered beyond that!

I asked Jill to do my makeup for a maternity shoot, and I am so happy that I found the right makeup artist! She is professional, thoughtful, and very talented. I gave her an image of a certain look I was going for, and she made it happen, without disappointment. I was thoroughly pleased with her work and will definitely hire her again in the future.

Jill is the most accommodating, professional, and dependable vendor I had! She did my trial, my bridal shower, and wedding day makeup. She always showed up on time (that's so important Bc as a bride, the last thing you want to be stressed about is wondering where your vendor is. I know some brides that had this issue!). She listens to what you want and executes it effortlessly. I did a ton of research on makeup artist before I hired one and she had the best value for the best quality of work. I had absolutely no problem with her and highly recommend her!

I recently got married in June and hired Jill, who I found on yelp, to do my hair and makeup for my special day. I cannot say enough about how amazing of a job she did. My makeup looked natural and stayed on all day and night in 95degree heat. My hair looked amazing too. Even with short hair she was able to use my clip in extensions to creat a beautiful look. The assistant she brought to help was wonderful as well. She did a great job on my bridesmaids and everyone looked their best. Also very reasonably priced. I highly recommend Jill for any special occasion especially weddings!!

Jill is very accommodating and an amazing person to work with. I've worked with her twice, once as a bridesmaid and then as a bride! Highly recommended. She is very talented and can do a lot of different styles of make-up and hair. The assistants that come with her are also very good and talented. Her pricing is very fair and in my opinion you get more than what you pay for.

For my wedding plan, I have tried 2 other make up artists before I got to Jill and my husband was really satisfied even with the trial make up since he wasn't very satisfy with the previous artists that I have tried. We were blessed to work with Jill. She took my picture at all angle at the trial to see what need to improve during the wedding, my make up was perfect. My bridesmaids also looked beautiful as well.

I don't know why the stars won't fill up to 5. It only allowed me to give 4.5 stars.... But I give Jill 5/5 stars!

I found Jill on Yelp and read all the good reviews and saw her work through the pictures. I emailed her and she responded within a few hours.

I showed her pictures of what I wanted for my hair and make-up and she gave me exactly that. I don't wear much make-up, so I was a little nervous I would feel like my face was caked on or that I would break out after...thankfully, .neither of those happened.

I went to her house and we started on time. I think it only took about an hour or an hour and a half, I don't remember. I also remember asking the day of if I can come in earlier, and she was kind enough to let me, which I definitely appreciated.

Jill is super nice and I'd recommend her to anyone looking to get their hair and make-up done RIGHT. :)

Jill was a very nice and professional hair and makeup artist to work with. She listened to what I wanted/preferred, and did it accordingly. She was also always on time for our appointments.

For my hair and make-up during my wedding day, it stayed on the whole day and the airbrush makeup that she used on me didn't get oily even if I have really oily skin! I received a lot of praises and positive feedback for both my hair and makeup.

I would definitely recommend Jill to anyone looking for a hair and makeup artist. If you are looking for a talented and pleasant person to work with, go with Jill.

The single best decision I made in planning my wedding was hiring Jill to do my hair and makeup for my wedding day. She perfectly balanced giving me what I want, while encouraging me to try things that she as a professional thought would look good on me. I did not hire Jill directly, but she was one of the hair and makeup artists for my wedding day on September 12th, 2015. She did the hair and makeup for both my and my husband's moms, as well as one of my bridesmaids. I was nervous for whoever got this job, as wedding day moms can be pretty particular, but thankfully Jill did an AMAZING job!! All three ladies that she worked on looked spectacular. People are still talking about how beautiful and elegant my mom looked at my wedding!! Thank you so much Jill for providing such a great service!

I met Jill when she did my hair and makeup for one of my best friend's weddings. I hired her on the spot for my own wedding three months later (and that bride was one of my bridesmaids as well--so we both love Jill!). Jill was wonderful to work with, especially as I live overseas and could only communicate with her over email. Her team was super friendly and also patient with my large bridal party! They made our morning run so smoothly and Jill even packed me a little bride-to-go bag in case I needed to touch up later on in the day. I'm really glad Jill and her team were there for my big day and I would highly recommend her!

Knew about Beauty by Jill from a friend's wedding where they did my bridesmaid hair and make-up. I was so happy with how my hair and make up turned out, that 3 years later I reached out to Jill for my own wedding. The bridesmaids, flower girls, and moms were satisfied and happy with their hair & make-up the day of the wedding. The stylists were professional and very personable. Jill is very professional! She made my make-up trial easy and fun, like i was in the hands of a friend.She addressed any concerns I had and we were able to communicate through texts and emails. For my wedding day she said she was going to be there at 6:30 am, she knocked my hotel door at 6:31 am. Best wake up call ever!

I was referred to Beauty By Jill but Jill's mother-in-law and I am so glad that I was. Jill was accommodating, kind and really listened to what I wanted. I did two make-up hair trials, the first one was great but I realized did not match the style of my dress. The second trial was perfect! AND my hair and make-up was even better for my wedding day. Jill's team also did my 93 year old grandma, my mom, and two friends. They all look amazing. Thank you Jill!

Jill and her team were great to work with. They did hair and makeup for all of my bridesmaids and mom. Jill was so responsive and easy to work with especially leading up to the wedding when girls were changing their minds about what services they wanted done. Jill made a schedule for the girls and really really stuck to it. Everyone was pleased with their hair and makeup. A few girls had some small things they wanted changed with their hair or makeup and Jill and her team were so accommodating. One of my bridesmaids is getting married later this year and booked Jill's services on the spot for her own wedding! Thanks Jill for being so wonderful to work with and for making my girls look amazing.

Jill did my make-up for my 25th wedding anniversary vow renewal. As always, she did a wonderful job. She made me look and feel so beautiful. She was so accommodating with the scheduling so that I could get everything done on our special day. I'm so grateful for Jill's great work in helping create my wedding look! I don't wear a lot of makeup on a normal basis, and I didn't want to look uncomfortable and not like myself on my wedding day. During the trial, Jill helped try a few looks on me (hair and makeup), and worked with some ideas I had in mind (and some looks I found on Pinterest). She gave great suggestions and helped create a look that was suitable for me and my overall look. On the day of, she arrived on time and did a great job with recreating what we had discussed during the trial--I loved it! I would highly recommend Jill if you are looking for a makeup artist or hair stylist for your wedding or event!

Jill and her assistants were awesome to work with. Jill was responsive to my emails, easy to get a long with, flexible to my needs, and even did last minute hair & makeup for the flower girls. Her pricing is reasonable compared to other makeup artists.

Jill did my hair and make up for my engagement photo session, bridal shower, and rehearsal dinner. She also did my make up for the day of my wedding, as well as providing services for my bridesmaids and Mother. Jill is truly talented at what she does, she is hands down the best make up artist I have ever worked with and does a fantastic job with hair as well. I know that I am a VERY picky person and so was the MOB, but Jill gets it right every time. I have always had issues with the way make up artists have done my eyebrows, but Jill did a great job for this picky bride. You can tell that Jill is very good at her craft as she is just at ease while doing her work and she really cares about making her clients happy, if you want something changed, she will gladly do it. In addition, the make up she uses lasts all day. I opted to use air brushing for all of my events, and by the end of the day the make up was still holding and still looked really good. Jill and her team are prompt, efficient and overall do a fantastic job. I cannot recommend Jill enough, she deserves 5 stars and more, if you are considering the Beauty by Jill team, please do a consultation with her, and you will not be disappointed. I will definitely use Jill in the future for any special events I have.

Jill and her team handled hair and make-up for me, my six bridesmaids, and my mom for my wedding. I called Jill after finding her on Yelp and she was very nice and I felt comfortable with her right away. I scheduled two trails with her because I wanted to try a couple of different looks, both went very well. The trials were done at her house, which I was weary of at first, but it was a nice environment. She is very willing to listen to your input and make any changes that you request, which was SO important to me because I am very picky. I wanted a more natural look and was happy to find someone that did not insist on making me wear tons of make-up! Throughout the whole planning process she answered my questions promptly and was willing to do whatever was necessary to help me feel more comfortable and confident.

On the wedding day Jill and her team were on time and were very professional! They had everything they needed and were set up in no time. They kept on schedule so that we had extra time at the end, which was awesome. They helped make the day so stress free and relaxing, which allowed everyone (including myself) to just have fun and enjoy the moment. My bridesmaids were various ethnicities, with different hair and skin types, and different style preferences (everyone picked their own hair and make-up style). Jill and her team happily made minor adjustments throughout the day that were requested (extra curls, more blush, etc..). I was so relieved that all of the girls (including myself) were happy with the way they looked. Oh, and I would highly recommend getting the airbrush foundation. It feels so light and lasts the whole night; it is definitely worth the extra money. My main concern was that everyone felt pretty and confident, and this was definitely achieved. I was thrilled with the results and I would highly recommend Jill and her team!

Jill, Angie & Ellie were AMAZING !! I was so picky about finding a hair and make up artist and being that I am a professional wedding coordinator I was looking for the best of the best when it came to my hair and make up, I found it when I met Jill and her crew. I searched all around and even through experiencing so many hair and make up artist in my career I wanted to make sure that on my wedding day knowing that there were many specific things I was looking for in finding the right Artist which was making sure they had airbrush make up( I knew that between the tears and the sweat because we were in palm springs in 100 degrees I was not ready to melt), being able to stay on schedule and finished in a timely matter to be able to we did not fall behind, and most importantly making sure that the make up was natural looking (I have Asian unique eyes that tend to be hard to work with)and that we were able to show her a picture of our vision and Jill and her crew were able to provide ALL THE ABOVE... We started with just hiring them for the our Ceremony date but, they did such a great job we hired them for our reception too. I first met Jill when she did my and my family's hair and make-up for my sister's wedding back in 2010. Since then, I have used her services twice more -- once for my graduation in 2011 and another time for a wedding I was attending in August 2014. Every time that I have used Jill's services, she has been punctual, professional, and kind. She has always done an amazing job doing my hair and applying my make-up so that they both stay intact throughout the duration of the event that I am attending. Jill was well worth the money for my wedding. I was the bride, and if you are a bride, you know how picky and particular you can be through this process. Hair and makeup are one of the most important parts of a wedding, and with Jill, she made it easy to feel confident. She was flexible with change, always prompt in responses (email, text, phone), and a friendly person. She never made me feel like what I was asking or what I wanted was wrong. I had a great time working with Jill! I found her online as i was planning my wedding from afar. I live in the Bay Area and our wedding was in LA where all our family is. I contacted a few makeup and hair people and I felt Jill's prices were fair and she was very accommodating to my travel and trials I booked with her.
I had 2 trial runs with her before I was happy with my hair and makeup for the big day!
A week before my wedding day she sent out a timeline with arrival and when each of my bridesmaids and flower girl was having hair and makeup the day of. It was great to have constant communication with her and knowing that the day of was going to be great and she and her team would be there ready to work.
They were professional and fun! She brought music and great energy to the morning when we were having our makeup and hair done.
We were ahead of schedule and it was great to know everything was going smooth.
I highly recommend Jill for anyone who is looking for a fun, outgoing hairstylist who loves to have fun with colors!

They can replicate the look you want! They even ask for photos rather than assume the style that would look best on you. On my actual wedding day, I changed the look I wanted and they managed to recreate my vision! Feels like they're mind readers. If you ask me, I know you'll love the hair and makeup for ANY occasion. My wedding entourage (I did not have a wedding party) had different visions ranging from loud and funky to demure and very formal. These were captured in all the wedding photos and were exactly what we wanted and expected.

Jill was so wonderful to work with. Not only was she responsive to my emails but she was very personable to talk to as well.

Jill was beyond amazing for my wedding!! She was super easy to get a long with, totally flexible to my needs, made sure I ate food before the ceremony and even did my two junior bridesmaids hair/makeup very last minute. There were around 9 girls that needed to get ready for Prom, and even though previously there were some appointment cancellation issues, Jill and her crew were flexible and they were able to get us ready for Prom in time looking fabulous. Jill is the best! She did my hair and make up for our engagement photo shoot way back in 2013 and for our wedding on 4/4/14. She's flexible with my schedule and always responded to my questions and requests fast through e mail or phone calls. She listened to my opinions and ideas and make them happened with her wonderful skills. She also allowed me to try on many different styles of hairs and make up and let me compared to see what I liked best. She arrived early on the wedding day and was all set up with her assistant at the venue before I even arrived with my bridesmaids. They did a great job on doing similar style of hair and make up on different bridesmaids, and yet somehow they all looked a bit different and unique in their own way. All my bridesmaids looked gorgeous and they all loved Jill. Jill also did my mom's make up and she got so many compliments from our guest the whole day. Then, Jill personally stayed and did my hair and make up for two plus hours just to make sure everything was perfect for me on my wedding day. She stayed even later than promised just to posed for my photographer and videographer. By the way, she did all of these beautiful work while eight months prego! AMAZING woman! My make up and hair turned out so perfect and stayed all through the end of the night. All I can say is I love love love Jill and will recommend her to everyone!

I had to go to a wedding, as a guest, and not as part of the wedding party. I was feeling a little lazy, so I didn't want to do my own hair and makeup. I can tell you: I'm so happy I didn't do my own hair and makeup because Beauty by Jill did an AWESOME job. I received several comments that my makeup looked so natural and not caked on. Jill was very responsive to my request for her services, very professional and very attentive to my needs, likes and wants. She and her stylists were very flexible with me and worked with me to get the look that I wanted. Jill and her assistant were great to have as a part of my wedding. Jill is truly a talented makeup artist and I have never felt more beautiful then I did on my wedding day. I found her on weddingwire and after consulting photos and prices with many, many others, I decided to do a trial with Jill. At the wedding, everyone was extremely happy with their looks and the price was right! She spent a a lot of time making sure each one of us was happy with our looks and even gave me a touch up kit with tissues, powder and lip stain to use during the night. Jill and Page did a wonderful job on our hair and makeup! Jill touched up my hair and makeup at my reception as well. I had a "meltdown" due to an unexpected event, but Jill was so patient and comforting. She basically had to redo my makeup. I was very pleased by her talent, professionalism, and sense of humor. My best friend used Jill at her wedding and so I decided to get my make up done as a bridesmaid. I got so many compliments that I decided to use Jill for my own engagement shoot and wedding. She is amazing. The eyebrow and eye make up is of course great, but what sets Jill apart is how she makes your skin just glow. I was blown away. The contouring and matte but still dewy look I got every time was amazing. My skin looked flawless, my cheekbones more prominent, and best of all, it lasted the entire event. She gave my bridesmaid a touch up kit, which we barely needed to use.

Since Jill did all my bridesmaids make up and we wanted to be done by 11, she came over super early and diligently worked on each of us. And did i mention she was pregnant doing this? Amazing. I would recommend her to everyone and I actually can't wait for another event so I can use her again :)

When it came time for me to find someone to do my wedding make-up and hair I didn't have to look far. Jill had done make-up/hair for two of my nieces and came highly recommended. Thanks to Jill, my wedding make-up/hair experience was stress-free. She did a beautiful make-up and hair job on me, my Mom, my sister and my goddaughter (ages ranging from mid-20s to mid-70s). Jill was very easy to work with and I loved how my hair and make up turned out! I don't usually wear a lot of make up but how she did it was perfect for my wedding..very natural. I had to contact Jill very close to the wedding date, as my first make up person fell through. Luckily, she was able to squeeze me in for both a trial and day of. She is so friendly and totally makes you feel at ease during the whole process. I don't normally wear a lot of makeup, and neither do my bridesmaids, but she did such a fantastic job of making sure that we had the perfect makeup to look great in pictures without feeling like we didn't recognize ourselves. Jill was also very flexible in that she came to the hair salon I already had an appointment at and did our makeup there.

Jill was a pleasure to work with and I'm so happy with how beautiful I looked on my wedding day! Jill and her assistant came to our hotel at 9am and had 7 of us ready by 1:30. Jill did my updo and airbrush makeup, which both lasted all day in the heat. Jill also did hair for my mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, 2 sisters, and sister-in-law, and her assistant Whitney did everyone else's makeup using regular foundation, which also held up well in the heat. I like that everyone looked naturally beautiful, not too overdone. I planned my wedding from the East coast, so I had sent all of my information and requests to Jill via email and never met her until my wedding day. She was always very responsive to my emails and everyone was comfortable working with her and satisfied with their results.

Jill did a great job for my engagement shoot and wedding. She was super responsive with emails (even though I wasn't on my end) and during the makeup sessions themselves. Very attentive and plans ahead. A real professional who puts her clients first, and knows what she's doing.

Jill and her team were awesome! She was prompt and always responded back right away. She always had a smile on her face even at 4 in the morning! My mom is a very simple woman who does not wear any makeup and is really bad at maintaining a skin care regimen. The only thing she does is dye her hair to hide her grays. Since her only daughter was getting married, she reluctantly agreed to let me book an artist to do her hair and makeup. She preferred a Chinese speaking artist so she would be able to communicate. My mom was really nervous because she doesn't speak much English and she doesn't like to get dressed up at all. I was getting ready at another location so I wouldn't be available to help translate.

I found Jill through a Facebook link and checked out her work on her website. I liked what I saw and decided to contact her. My mom told me what she wanted and didn't want and asked me to tell Jill. She was very responsive to my emails and didn't mind that I sent her very loooong and detailed emails.

Jill arrived on schedule at 6am to beautify my mom and did a wonderful job bringing out my mom's features. When I saw my mom that morning I honestly did not recognize her. She looked gorgeous but not too made-up. My mom told me that Jill was funny and patient with her and is a very, very nice person. She really liked her and was glad that I found her!

My mom was very happy with her hair and makeup and it seemed like she had more confidence in herself. I know she felt and looked like the Mother of the Bride!

Overall, Jill is great!!!

I am so glad I chose Jill to have my make up done for my wedding. She's super sweet and very very talented. I wish she can do my make up everyday! Jill and her crew showed up on time on my wedding day and my bridesmaids looked awesome! My hair appt ran a little late and when I got back to the hotel, Jill was waiting for me with a smile! I highly recommend Beauty by Jill! My wedding was scheduled at 11AM in the small mountain community of Idyllwild, which is about a 2 hour drive east of Los Angeles and Jill's team arrived bright and early on the day of the wedding (which means they left LA around 3-4AM!). They did a wonderful job, listened and understood how I wanted the bridesmaids and flower girls to look, and finished everything with time to spare. It was an outdoor wedding in June and hair/makeup lasted all day with no touch-ups needed. The entire process went smoothly: everything from contacting Jill (she's very responsive and answers all of your questions), to setting up the trial session with Chelsea (who is awesome), to making arrangements for her team to come out for the wedding (we had four people total). They really did a lovely job on all of us and I can't thank Jill & team enough for helping make that day special.

Jill was so fun to work with and did a wonderful job on my wedding day! The main reason why I chose Jill was because of her experience in making brides glow naturally (just look at her portfolio!), her experience with Asian brides, and because of her incredibly affordable services :) She arrived early to set up, was finished with plenty of time to spare, and even flexible with some last minute additions to my hair :) I LOVED how my makeup turned out on my wedding day! Honestly, Jill is amazing. I can say that on my wedding day, she made me feel like a million bucks. I love that I can talk to her and not be judged . She is also very flexible and understands how weddings are. Never once did she make any remarks or comments, but she made me feel calm and just talked to me during the times when I felt nervous. If I had to do this over again, I would choose Jill.

Jill did my bridal makeup, and did a fantastic job! Even though she was busy earlier that day with another event, she made time for me and I'm so glad she did. The makeup suited me perfectly, with no direction from me needed (which was great, since I wasn't 100% sure of what would look best on me). I found Jill thru yelp in 2009 when I was a bridesmaid at my friends wedding and I was very satisfied with the hair and make up that she did. A year later I got engaged and booked Jill for my engagement photo shoot and for the wedding day itself. I couldn't be happier! Jill was amazing!
