Helping you feel and look your absolute BEST through makeup and emotional support!
Jacquelyn is not only exceptional at her craft, but more importantly she is THE person you want in your corner during the entire wedding process. I used her for both my bridal makeup, as well as for emotional support sessions. I couldn't recommend her more for both!
Makeup-wise, she is so intentional about focusing on how you FEEL, not just the end result of how you look. She makes sure to emphasize YOU throughout the entire process, reiterating that anything can be changed at any time. Jacquelyn is gentle, encouraging, and uplifting throughout the entire application process, and will be your number one hype woman throughout. On wedding day, she'll be there to teach you how to cry properly (a very important piece for my day), and she even helped out with odds and ends between my application and my moms to make the day go smoother. She (along with the makeup that she applied) made me feel so confident and glamorous, but still authentic. I never felt like I was in a costume, but rather that my natural beauty was enhanced. She also did my mom's makeup, and my mom was so pleased by everything Jacquelyn did, but even more so with who she is.
The emotional support sessions are something so unique to the wedding world, but so needed! We focused on my communication style throughout the wedding process, as well as how to navigate fears, worries, tough relationships, and new feelings that come with the territory of planning and experiencing a wedding. It was so nice to have someone to listen as an unbiased third party, as well as offer suggestions and tips on how to navigate big feelings, conversations, and stressors. There were feelings and worries that came up during the planning process that I could not have anticipated, and having someone as seasoned as Jacquelyn understand my feelings, validate them, and work through solutions with me made the day even more flawless. I was the calmest I'd been throughout the entire wedding planning process on my wedding day, and so much of that is thanks to her.
Jacquelyn is a bright light in the wedding world. She is intentional, authentic, energetic, kind, and caring. She highlights her celebrants in the most beautiful way, and supports you as a human being, not just as a client. I highly recommend Jacquelyn for both makeup and emotional support for your wedding day. You will not regret it. -

Jacquelyn is the most amazing makeup artist I have ever had! I would HIGHLY recommend her to everyone to have her be part of your celebration. I used her for my wedding on August 20th, and she made me look and feel the most beautiful I have ever felt. My makeup looked AMAZING and I got soooo many compliments on it. Jacquelyn uses a really great technique to put on the makeup that makes you feel at ease and relaxed, especially on a day that can be as busy and potentially stressful as your wedding. She can also dial it up or down based on your personal preference. She made my mother and bridesmaids look amazing as well! One of the most amazing parts of working with Jacquelyn at First Looks LLC is that she is also a counselor, and for the bridal packages she provides a 30 minute session with you that I used the week of the wedding to help me relax and and mentally and emotionally prepare for the big day. I truly don't think I would have got through my wedding weekend with Jacquelyn, and I am forever grateful for her making me look and FEEL so amazing! THANK YOU!!!! She is truly a one-of-a-kind and you would be so lucky to have her as your makeup artist! -

Book Jacquelyn NOW for any and all makeup needs for your wedding! She is an absolute amazing artist and a fantastic human, who will make your wedding day makeup experience so fun and flawless. Jacquelyn did makeup for myself, six bridesmaids, my mom and mother in law, my husband’s two sisters and our two flower girls and she did not skip a beat! Everyone was absolutely in love with her and had only rave reviews about their experience. My cousin and sister both said at the end of the day that they each want Jacquelyn to be their “best friend.” Jacquelyn is extremely professional, timely, caring and super communicative. She will respect your wishes for whatever direction you want to go in for makeup for your day and will make the experience super fun while she’s at it! -

Jacquelyn is so much more than a make-up artist. She is so kind, thoughtful and gentle during the make-up process. I felt like I knew her for years and we were meeting for the first time. I showed her many pictures and she was able to pick up that I wanted warm colors on my eyelids and knew that I was looking for glam! I felt so pretty after leaving her chair! I would definitely like to be Jacquelyn's customer again. -

J was an amazing makeup artist! She was professional and reliable. During the time leading up to my wedding J was not only my makeup artist but my coach. She offered emotional support and sessions to listen and guide me to feel ready and calm for the wedding and marriage. I ended up learning a lot about myself and found how much I really do love myself in talking through my worries with her. She made me feel calm and relaxed while also being BEST hype girl! Jacquelyn has the type of energy any bride would want for her wedding day glam team. She is kind, collaborative, and goes above and beyond so that her brides and bridal parties feel comfortable, confident, and radiant from the inside out. I met Jaquelyn at my make-up trial a week before my wedding, and she explained her products, along with what she was doing, thoroughly throughout the entire night. It was a really fun, stress-free learning process. She listened to any adjustments I wanted for my actual wedding day and stuck true to her mantra: "It's about you feeling good about how you look."
She is professional, communicative, bright, and just a lovely person. I recommend her wholeheartedly to any bride. Plus, she has the cutest love story herself. She was early for the appointment and did an amazing job on both of us and was able to get both of our make up done in time to make it to the wedding. Jacquelyn is hands-down the best in the business. I have had my makeup done multiple times for different events with other makeup artists and Jacquelyn is the first one to completely nail it! Due to Covid-19, I will be having two events in order to celebrate safely with friends and family. I have zero regrets hiring Jacquelyn for both events! For our small ceremony, Jacquelyn created a flawless look for myself, my sister, and my best friend. The day I got married it was very humid and all of our makeup held up all night and looked beautiful in photos. Not only is she extremely talented, but she is so positive and enthusiastic. She will be your biggest cheerleader on your special day! I can’t wait to have her do my makeup again in June for round 2 of our wedding festivities! -
