  Anne is simply amazing

  Anne is perfect. I think I said as much on the day of the trial, the days leading up to the actual wedding, and several times on the actual wedding day. My biggest concern with my hair for my wedding day was the fact that it is naturally curly with a mind of its own. It was really important to me that I look like ME on my wedding day, so I wanted to find someone who could help me harness the crazy to do a curly style for the day. I wasn't interested in doing a straight style or a blow out but was really hoping to find a stylist who would embrace the natural curl, and help me come up with a style that would stay put all day but still let that element shine. Anne is 100% that person. We did a trial a month or so before the wedding, and actually landed on two different styles I couldn't decide between. One was a half up half down style with some small natural ringlet curls in front, and the other was the same but with the back in a low, loose bun with some stray tendrils. Anne came up with an incredible idea to incorporate BOTH by starting off with the half up look for the photos pre-ceremony (so first look and then the outdoor photos with the bridal party) and the move to the low bun before the walk down the aisle. This also led to us deciding to keep Anne and one of the makeup artists on for touchups up until the ceremony and I could NOT recommend anything more! It worked out absolutely perfectly, and I am so glad we had the touch up help as we battled the Chicago Autumn wind and my curly hair. The first style was so much fun and such a great vibe for the photos with our friends, and the second look with the low bun just added that extra bit of elegance for the ceremony and dinner. Anne truly made such a world of difference for our day, absolutely 10/10 would recommend!

  Perfect experience and perfect hair and makeup!

  Ann and her team were incredible and made me + my bridal party so happy! My mom and I did a hair and makeup trial a few months before my wedding and were so happy with how everything looked. We had a great time getting to know Paige and Vicki as well - they were so fun! They listened to everything we wanted and took the time to get our feedback after the trial. On the big day, they were punctual, friendly, and helpful. All my bridesmaids were so happy with their hair and makeup. The whole day was flawless. Throughout it all, Ann made the whole process a breeze and was very responsive and kind. I can't recommended Ann and her team enough!

  Do not hesitate to book with Ann!

  Can’t say enough positive things about Ann and Tilly! From the start, it was easy and straightforward to plan both the hair and makeup trial as well as the big day and Ann made it even more special by mailing a personalized letter to my home before wedding day!
  
  My bridesmaids and my mom loved their hair and makeup. I usually prefer to do my own makeup, but ended up loving the way that Tilly was able to pull it off on wedding day! Ann’s a master with hair and it showed. I still can’t believe how she was able to match my inspiration photo in real life.
  
  I highly recommend using Ann and her team for your wedding day beauty needs.

  Ann is so incredible to work with! She is professional, responsive and all around a great person. From the hair/make up trial to the big day, Ann was always there to answer my questions and provide guidance when needed. All of my bridesmaids loved their hair/make up and it lasted all day/night. I absolutely loved my wedding day look that Ann and Giselle brought to life for me. I can't remember this team enough!! I know a handful of couples who have used this team and all provided positive feedback!

  Amazing experience - highly recommend!

  Ann and her team were amazing! We used them for my wedding for bride + bridesmaid hair and makeup. Ann was so wonderful about communicating and responding quickly, professionally, and with very helpful detailed answers to my questions. She was also great about explaining our timeline and helping me think through which timeline would be best for the day - honestly it felt like she was somewhat of a wedding planner in this sense, which was super helpful for us! It is clear that she cares a lot about her brides and does an excellent job taking care of her clients - she even came to my trial hair and makeup session at my apartment to introduce herself and check in with me! Ann also checked in with me the day after the trial to see how my hair and makeup lasted throughout the night and asked if I wanted to make any changes (but everything was perfect!). I would love to work with her again. For the hair and makeup artists, we worked with Nikki for hair and Viki for makeup. We loved them both! I showed them a few inspiration photos and my final hair and makeup looked exactly like what I wanted! Even in the trial run, they completely nailed it. I haven't ever gotten professional makeup done before this and I don't wear a lot of makeup so I was worried about looking overdone, but the makeup that Viki did looked very natural - I was so impressed. For my hair - I wore a traditional Middle Eastern hat and veil that I had no idea how to attach to my head. Nikki was amazing at quickly figuring out how to pin the hat to my head in a way where it stayed secure all day and she also figured out how to beautifully drape the veil over the hat and pin it in place - I absolutely loved how it looked and was so impressed with her ability to figure this out to quickly. Nikki and Viki were also both very fun to chat with even stayed overtime to do touchups for me - they were so sweet. My bridesmaids all loved how they looked as well! Also these services were very reasonably priced and the quality of service was excellent. I highly recommend Ann Krause and working with Nikki and Viki!

  Best all around vendor you will hire

  Ann is the best vendor you will hire for your wedding. Hands down. From initial outreach, to my bridal look trial, to the final wedding day, Ann is the most professional and thorough in her communication. She builds trust from the start. Her team of hair and makeup artists did an excellent job on my wedding day. I never had a worry! We were actually ahead of schedule the entire day, all of my bridal party loved their looks, and Ann dealt with any change with such grace and poise (me adding on a few wedding guests to the end of the schedule last minute). I was above and beyond pleased with her service.

  Ann is the best vendor you will hire for your wedding. Hands down.   Couldn't have been happier!

  Ann and her team were amazing from start to finish. Ann is a dream to work with and truly goes above and beyond to bring the most beautiful looks to life. When I tweaked my vision after my trial, Ann rolled with my new idea and I ended up being unbelievably thrilled with my hair. Her makeup team (Liz and Giselle) were friendly, funny, punctual, and brought such a fun and calming energy to my house as we got ready. Loved having them from start to finish and would recommend to anyone!

  I felt so beautiful on my wedding day!

  Ann and Michelle were such an amazing bridal team. They were so responsive and reliable throughout the entire process as well as making relevant recommendations as necessary (I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to makeup). The trial went great but there were a few things I wanted to change after I saw pictures and they were super receptive and made all the necessary changes on the wedding day. Not to mention, they were an incredibly calming and joyful presence on the morning of such an important day! After my hair and makeup was done, I honestly have never felt more beautiful and confident! I truly can't thank them both enough for helping to make my wedding day the best ever!

  Ann is the best!

  Ann is SUCH a delight to work with! I booked her as my wedding hair stylist and she's amazing! First, I saw her to get a haircut to freshen up my locks a few months before the wedding. I could tell from the very beginning that she is great at what she does and she's so sweet and personable. I had two hair trials to get my wedding day look just right, and by the time the wedding came along it felt like an old friend was helping me get ready! My bridesmaids and mom loved her as well. I definitely recommend Ann for your wedding needs, but she also gained a customer for life from me!

  I have been going to Ann for blowouts and haircuts for several years, so although I was having my big wedding out in California, there was no question about who was going to do my hair for my private ceremony in Chicago. As part of my trial, Ann discussed different options to make sure she created a hairstyle that was exactly what I envisioned, and she also shared some tricks for how she was going to ensure my hair stayed secure throughout the entire day. For my wedding day, Ann was incredibly sweet and professional, and made sure everything went smoothly. She finished ahead of schedule and my hairstyle was even more beautiful than I could have imagined - she is truly an artist! I only wish I could have flown Ann & her team to California, but I was sure to bring my California hairstylist a picture of Ann's work to re-create!

  Perfect hair - amazing work!

  I can only recommend Ann and her team, they are amazing to work with, super professional and I loved my wedding hair.
  Ann was recommended to me by our wedding planner Grace from Lionhearted events. They were really accommodating for my hair trial, Ann and Athina let me come in on a Monday as I was only in Chicago for a long weekend (we live in London).
  I received the timeline for the day well in advance, they were super flexible and even able to schedule in a friend of mine who wasn't part of the bridal party.
  Athina was super nice and professional on the day, she was calm and had everything under control from the start. She was aware what hair my bridesmaids wanted and all of them were super happy. As for me I have long black hair and she was able to put it up in the prettiest up-do and we integrated some spare lace from my dress in it. I absolutely loved it.

  Ann is amazing

  Ann and her team are absolutely fantastic. I met Ann when I was a bridesmaid in my friend's wedding and she was so professional and so talented, I asked for her contact information and hired her for my wedding. I tell her all the time, she is a hair architect! Her skill is matched by her professionalism and I couldn't have been happier to have Ann and her team with me on my wedding day.

  Perfection

  I contacted Ann & Tilly for my wedding hair and makeup pretty late in planning and I lucked out that they were still available! (I was also getting married on a Monday so that helped!) They made everything so easy, with just a few photos I found off the internet they were able to capture the look I was going for and executed everything perfectly. They arrived on time and had everything all ready to go, the time flew and before I knew it they were already done. My hair and make up were perfect! I will absolutely be recommending them to my friends!!

  Ann was perfect and understanding!

  ann and her team were great for my wedding! i am a self-proclaimed bridezilla in that i had a lot of ideas in regards to what i wanted with my hair and makeup which ann listened to and was able to bring my dream wedding hair to life. having a pixie but means there is not a lot which can be done for my hair but i knew i wanted something classy yet also edgy - basically complete opposites of each other. what we decided to do was have something classic for my wedding which in the long term i am glad because i know looking back on the pictures years from now, i am going to be happy with having classic pixie style. for my reception - we did go a bit edgy with giving me a undercut that definitely made me feel like the life of the party! as for my make-up, we did a classic smokey eye for my wedding and then a bejeweled look for our indian reception which worked out perfectly!

  A Beautiful Experience with Ann!

  Ann is so lovely and professional. I was extremely happy with both my trial hair appointment and my wedding day appointment. My hair honestly looked so amazing for the entire evening -- through rain and all the fun. I didn't have to worry once and I truly felt so beautiful. Thank you, Ann!
