Alyssa was so wonderful to work with. I found her on Instagram and loved all her photos of the work she has done. I reached out and she responded quickly and was very informative. I don’t usually wear makeup so I did a trial and Alyssa listened to my request of wanting a “soft glam”. The makeup didn’t feel heavy at all and I loved it! Alyssa was so responsive to all my emails leading up to the wedding and she made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day! My makeup lasted all day with no touch ups needed! She’s also so sweet and kind and had us all ready on time. She also made my mom, matron of honor and maid of honor feel so beautiful! She also did my sister’s hair which looked gorgeous! I wish she could do my makeup everyday! I highly recommend Alyssa! Book her you won’t regret it! -

Alyssa provided her services for my wedding on 10/10/20 in Farmington, CT. Being a COVID bride, there were a lot of changes to my wedding plans over the course of the year and Alyssa was nothing short of courteous, flexible, patience and just genuinely kind through it all.
The makeup of my bridal party and myself was FABULOUS. And it stayed on all day and night. I received so many compliments and I wish she could be my MUA everyday! She was prompt, offered suggestions and even listened to whatever changes I wanted done. I was so very lucky to have Alyssa as one of my vendors because she made the whole process as easy as she could and she is uber talented. Thank you so much, Alyssa! -

Alyssa did a fantastc job, she was so easy to work with and kept us all on schedule. My bridesmaids and I all wore fake eyelashes which looked AMAZING and were super comfortable to wear. Our makeup stayed on all day and night - even after many happy tears! -

Alyssa was amazing to work with. She was responsive, professional, nice, and so easy to get along with! Not only is she great to work with, but the quality of the makeup she does is unmatched. She took her time on all of my bridal party as well as myself and everyone was beyond satisfied with how they looked.
I think I’ve had atleast 3 upcoming brides ask me who did my makeup, which is the biggest compliment. I love recommending them to Alyssa and know they will be just as happy as I was!
I wish I could give more than 5 stars!! Simply the best. -

Alyssa is the absolute best! She not only is sweet but she is very professional. She efficiently did my entire wedding party including myself, mom, grandma and MIL, all while providing the highest quality results. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Alyssa was easy to work with and felxible. Provided great advice to have my make-up and bridal make-up ready in time for the photographer. We looked flawless and I did not have to re-touch my lipstick the entire night. I never felt more beautiful! -

I cannot say it enough – Alyssa is the most talented make-up artist that I have ever met! The entire process was incredibly smooth; she is so responsive and prompt with all correspondence and always willing to answer my 101 questions. Seeing her previous work online and on her social media I knew that I would be in good hands on the day of my wedding. I arrived at my make-up trial with only a vague idea of what I wanted for the wedding as I do not wear much make up regularly, but she listened to my ideas, offered her own based on my personal style, and I left confident that I would look exactly the way I wanted on the day of the wedding. Come the day of the wedding, Alyssa was able complete a total of 9 people’s make up, but worked meticulously on each person until they looked exactly the way they wanted. The products she used were very high quality and accommodated a few of my bridesmaids with sensitive skin. I was so happy with the way I looked on the day of my wedding and I know that is in large part to Alyssa’s talent. I highly recommend her to every future bride! -

I knew of Alyssa because I work in the beauty industry as well, and we followed each other on social media without knowing one another. I am particular about the beauty pros I trust and have a good eye for talent being in the industry myself, so when my now-husband and I got engaged, she was one of the first people I booked and checked off my list after the really big stuff! I wanted to make sure I booked with her because she really does do such beautiful work! She was sweet and attentive to me and my bridesmaids the day of the wedding, and everyone looked so beautiful! Both his and my moms also got their makeup done, which they have more mature skin and the makeup obviously had to be a different, more natural style. Alyssa did a fantastic job on them as well, and the moms both looked so pretty! I could tell my mom (who is not much of a girlie, makeup type) felt so giddy and confident after she got her makeup done, which meant a lot to see on such a special day. Alyssa is amazing at knowing how to do makeup that will pop and be flattering for photos, but also not overboard in person so that you’re still beautiful and soft . Which is SO important, especially on your wedding day! I think it’s hard to find a MUA who can make you look glam, but doesn’t go overboard, and Alyssa has that balance perfectly! Thank you again so much Alyssa! -

I was SO nervous trying to find a MUA in CT, but I got beyond lucky stumbling upon Alyssa! I am from New York and didn’t know where to start when trying to find a MUA in CT where my venue was. I browsed Instagram and thank god I found her! Everything was amazing from her products to professionalism to personality...EVERYTHING! My makeup lasted ALL night and trust me I’m a cryer lol My girls all loved her too. I felt like every bride should feel on her wedding day, which is stunning! It’s all thanks to Alyssa. I’m forever grateful! -

This review is long overdue! Alyssa did my hair and makeup for my wedding on 10/21/18. From the start she was so professional and listened to me when I told her the look I was going for. Everyone agreed my hair and makeup looked beautiful on my big day. I would without a doubt recommend Alyssa for your wedding or other event. She also travels and will accept smaller wedding parties unlike some other artists. -

From beginning to end, Alyssa was an absolute joy to work with. Her professionalism, flexibility, and responsiveness put my mind at ease throughout the entire wedding planning process! The day of the wedding, she arrived and set up in our bridal suite quickly and was very mindful of working at the right pace. She was able to glam up 6 bridesmaids, 2 mothers, and me all in a timely manner that kept all of us from feeling rushed! She used nothing but the best quality products, and I’m not kidding when I say that my makeup didn’t move AT ALL, which is a HUGE accomplishment given all the happy tears throughout the day! She also does a wonderful job at achieving both the natural glam looks that some of my bridal party wanted and the full glam look that I was going for. EVERYONE was SO happy with how their makeup came out, and I am forever thankful for how fabulous she made us all look. I wouldn’t have changed a thing! I also think her pricing was very reasonable given the quality of work she produces. If you’re in the market for a makeup artist, HIRE ALYSSA. You will NOT be disappointed! -
Candace Sent on 02/28/2018Alyssa is by far the best makeup artist! She did my sisters makeup for her wedding in October 2017 as well as the bridal party. I have hyperpigmentation in some spots that I was concerned about but Alyssa made sure my face looked flawless!! Not only did our makeup look flawless but so did my 65 year old mothers. Thank you again Alyssa. Any event I have I know who to book!

Melissa Sent on 01/14/2018Alyssa is a truly professional and talented stylist/ makeup artist with a calming presence. Alyssa did my hair and makeup as well as my bridesmaids and mother. It was as if we were receiving a spa day ( which was so needed with the prewedding jitters!). We all felt like celebrities and received so many compliments about the naturalness of our makeup . Our makeup stayed flawless for the entire night and our hair did not budge, yet still looked soft and romantic. As someone with very oily skin that has her makeup “melt away” by 10am daily I was shocked at the longevity and perfection of my hair and makeup!
Our photos turned out amazing because of our photographer and Alyssa’s natural talent. My makeup even managed to “pop” in the black and white photos!
Any bride would be lucky to book Alyssa for their special day. She is worth every penny! I have already spoken to her about doing my hair and makeup for my one year anniversary photo session!

I was disappointed with the professionalism I received on my wedding day. Three people and myself (the bride)had Alyssa do our hair and makeup for our wedding day. My mom asked Alyssa the week before if she could get a Voluminous blowout and Alyssa agreed ,but instead she flat ironed her hair straight . When we asked Alyssa if she could just throw a few curls in it she said no that you can’t curl straightened hair. One of my moms eyelashes was also crooked when my sister and I asked if she could just please just take them off she insisted she would have to remove all the eye makeup and couldn’t do it. She was using more excuses than taking the time to fix the issue. We were not in a time crunch by any means, in fact she finished early and started packing up and left before putting the veil in my hair. On my wedding day the last thing I wanted was to worry about my mom not being happy with her hair and makeup and Alyssa didn’t step up and put me at ease that she would just take care of it. I ended up curling my moms hair after she left which as a bride I shouldn’t of had to do for an expensive service that wouldn’t taken much effort at all to fix.I was happy with how my makeup and hair turned out but overall I did not appreciate the overall attitude of the day.
