Karen provided the perfect wedding table name-cards for our wedding! She was proactively communicative, kind, carding, and with an exceptional level of attention to detail and creativity! We had a very unique/special request for our 'table namecards' -- we wanted to have smooth white stones with guests names and table numbers written on them. My wife and I do a lot of hiking and have a collection of rocks from all over the world for every unique hike we have done together! We wanted our guests to experience that part of our relationship and be able to take home a personalized rock as a token of their very own to remember our wedding day. Karen jumped right in and helped us pick out the right type of rocks, prototyped /experimented on her end with different pens and writing styles, and provided several samples. She then was able to turn around nearly 200 rocks in only a few weeks due to our tight timelines. Not to mention -- I had made about a dozen or so mistakes on name misspellings which she corrected for no additional charge once I realized the errors! All of this was done for a very reasonable price for the high quality outcome! Karen was great and would highly recommend her for any of your calligraphy event needs (even special projects)! -

Crystal Sent on 08/22/2017My wedding was literary-themed, and my husband and I decided to create personalized bookmarks for our guests. We were trying to save as much money as we could, so I enlisted the help of my artsy friend to make and cut out 100+ bookmarks from heavy-duty art paper. We hole-punched/riveted the top, added ribbon, and then found Beautiful Writing / Calligraphy to help us with the lettering of each guest's name. This project was a labor of love, and I am thrilled with how it all came together. Beautiful Writing / Calligraphy was a wonderful value for the expense -- Karen sat down with me and made sure we were completely on the same page before putting ink to paper. As they were all handmade, we only had a few extra for mistakes or demonstration, and Karen was extremely diligent. I wish I could show a picture in the review...the bookmarks were beautiful. I recommend! -

Elizabeth Sent on 12/28/2010Karen wrote BEAUTIFUL calligraphy for our invitations. She addressed our inside and outside envelopes. She was very professional and easy to work with. I definitely recommend her calligraphy services to those brides that want to add the special touch of calligraphy!
