One sentence: Book the Beauport Hotel for your wedding. The magic they created for me, my husband, and our entire family is unmatched. We started this adventure wanting three things for our wedding: Christmas decor (the hotel's is incredible!), the ocean view, and a hotel option for our guests. While those factors convinced us to book the venue , the people of the Beauport are what made the day beyond perfect. ). I was planning for this wedding for two years and went back continuously for different things, and the entire staff knew my name, asking how the planning was going and how I was. From the front desk, waiters, valets, event staff, cleaners, and everyone else we encountered, we were welcomed with warmth and kindness. One person stands out. This wedding would not have happened without Melissa Nolet. I met her at the food tasting, and she presented herself so warmly and professionally that I knew she was the planner I wanted. Every need and question she answered within a day or two. I wanted a customized meal; she made it happen. I wanted four dances; she organized the reception to prioritize that. I wanted a completely cozy Christmas wedding, and she introduced a pho fireplace and helped us brainstorm how we could bring the decor into the venue space. She calmed my nerves the week of the wedding, responding to concerns (literally 5 paragraphs on a Tuesday night) to ensure I replaced those nerves with excitement. The weekend of the wedding the hotel was buzzing, Christmas music was softly playing, and the most stunning decor was up. We got our welcome bags at check-in with no issues, and thoughtful gifts were placed in our rooms to welcome us, my parents, and his. The day of the wedding, Melissa saw me leaving the venue for the church, and I honestly cried because she was so happy to see ME. When we got back, she was always in my preferal for the entire day. She ensured every picture was taken on my 3-page list; she organized a wedding group of 24 with ease and professionalism. Every question had an answer. There were no hiccups, no stress, and no timing issues. She was considerate of the entire wedding party and provided us with food in the bridal room with all of our things (the appetizers were to die for; I ate so much before the meal). After running across the beach, she was on her hands and knees, carefully wiping seaweed and sand off my dress (we even found a sea urchin lol). When the reception began, she tucked away my veil and shawl safely with our things. I didn't even realize I didn't have those things until I saw them nearly folded in our decor pick-up bin. She ensured I had a drink all evening, guided to where I needed to be, and I kept hugging her and looking at her like "This is the perfect night, how is this so perfect?!" The food was spectacular, and the bar was fast and efficient with drinks. The shortcake bar was fantastic as well. No one was rudely dismissed when it ended. We were slowly guided out to the lobby. Her job was really done. Yet, in the lobby of the Beauport, my uncle asked me for a dance and obliged. She came up behind me and said, "Just keep dancing, lovely, pretend I'm not here," and PINNED my hair back for me before wishing me well for the evening. So yes. Go to the Beauport for the venue and the staff. Hire the planner that cares about YOU and ends the night pinning up your hair, as you dance around the lobby in your sparkly wedding dress. We held our wedding at Beauport on 5/16/26 and it was the best decision! It is such a gorgeous venue that gives that coastal New England feel without completely breaking the bank. For the price point and everything it included, it was incomparable to everything else we toured and the easiest decision to have our wedding here.
Our event coordinator, Mindy, was there with us every step of the way during our planning process and was so attentive and responsive to all of our questions and concerns. She truly made our day so special, and she even took time out of her day to come ask us how married life has been when we visited Beauport again a month later. We still are having guests reach out to a us a month and a half later saying how beautiful the space is, how friendly and helpful the staff was, and how delicious and filling the food was. The staff are truly a well-oiled machine there, and they will take care of so much behind the scenes and ensure your day is perfect. There were a lot of little touches throughout the planning process and weekend of that Mindy and the Beauport team orchestrated that just made it feel so special and so personal, like we were more than just a client to them. The bar staff also got to know us very well over the weekend and were so friendly and good to us and our guests.
Our only critique, and we say this lightly as our day was still very overwhelmingly positive, was that when we brought up the restaurant next door as a concern for noise during the ceremony, we were told that someone would go around and ask the restaurant goers to try to keep noise levels down for the ceremony and that the outdoor music would be turned off until after. While we were so engrossed in our ceremony it did not bother us, a few of our guests did comment on the music still playing and it being a bit noisy and disruptive to them hearing the ceremony even though we discussed it a few times during our meetings and our initial tour. We also had a slight interruption during our ceremony due to a walkie talkie being left up front by the altar space.
We heard nothing but praise from the guests who stayed in the hotel, with a couple of great notes about the rooftop pool and hot tub, the breakfast at 1606, and the cleanliness. Our room block process was simple and easy and made it easy for all our guests traveling to be in one place. We took the shuttle the next day which was also convenient and a nice touch for guests. We are so happy we chose a place that we can return to for anniversary stays or just a meal with a view.
Overall, Beauport is such a special place to host your wedding, and we would 1000% recommend to anyone looking for a New England coastal vibe. Thank you Mindy and staff!

We couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue. It was the most perfect place to celebrate: on the water, guests/we could stay on site, the restaurant/bar is great, and most importantly they know what they're doing. Our coordinator, Melissa, met with us twice leading up to the wedding. We live in South Carolina so we met virtually and she was very flexible with us. She helped me feel at ease with the planning process since we did not have a planner (and truly didn't need one with all that she helped with).
The day of, all of the bridesmaids/moms were able to get ready in the bridal suite (there were 11 of us total). It was so great to be able to wake up and get ready on site. We catered breakfast to the suite which I highly recommend.
We had our ceremony on site and it was perfect. Since it was April in MA (unpredictable) we were able to make a day of decision on whether it would be indoors or outdoors. It was a chilly day but they had heaters so we opted for outdoors. Melissa was there to make sure that I had my veil (I forgot it in the room) and put it on properly for me. She even helped me bustle and un-bustle my dress multiple times for pictures etc. She went above and beyond to give us the perfect day. If anything went wrong we surely don't know about it because she was so organized and kept us on timeline. The food was absolutely incredible. I don't have enough good things to say about this venue and their team other than book it!!!Beauport Hotel Gloucester's reply:

Perfect Winter Wedding at Beauport
Beauport Hotel Gloucester was the perfect venue for our wedding. Even though it was February and we had a blizzard earlier in the week, our wedding day turned out to be sunny and the ocean views were absolutely stunning. We were even able to take photos on the deck, which made the day feel even more magical.
From our very first tour, I knew our wedding would run smoothly and effortlessly at Beauport. A huge part of that was our incredible venue coordinator, Mindy. Mindy was highly communicative and supportive throughout the entire planning process. She truly listened to what mattered to us—she even worked with the kitchen to include a special chicken dish on the menu to accommodate my picky-eater tendencies! Every detail of the vision I had for the day came to life because of her care and attention.
During the event itself, Mindy checked on us and our parents multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed, which helped us all feel completely at ease. The entire Beauport staff was professional, thoughtful, and incredibly attentive. From the champagne and chocolates waiting in our hotel room to Mindy personally making sure my veil made it back to our room at the end of the night, we felt so cared for and celebrated all weekend long.
I truly can’t imagine a more beautiful place to get married or a better team to make it happen. -

The Beauport absolutely knocked it out of the park for our Valentine's Day wedding, and Melissa specifically was unbelievable from start to finish. Every single detail had the upmost care put into it from delivering on the room setup with all the decor we provided, the food was exceptional, and the entire weekend went off without a hitch. With Melissa we knew we were in great hands from the first meeting, and she far-exceeded expectations across the board. She was two steps ahead of everything, was meticulous in preparation and execution, even pulled a last minute hail mary securing a photographer two days prior after ours had to cancel with a medical emergency. The staff at the hotel saw to every need we could come up with, and made every guest feel welcomed. My wedding at the Beauport Hotel was better than I had imagined! Everything leading up to the wedding was so professional and their event team was always responsive to all my questions. As the wedding got closer, Melissa was assigned as our coordinator and she is phenomenal! She is clearly an expert at what she does. As I would tell her the things I wanted to make our wedding special she had the perfect ideas for how to make it all come to life. The day of the wedding she perfectly organized our bridal party so that everyone knew what they were supposed to be doing and when. She truly put everyone at ease. She was there to clean the sand off my dress after beach photos, she got a makeup stain out of a groomsmen’s suit, and she jumped right in to help bustle my dress so I could get right out to cocktail hour. Melissa silently made sure that my husband and I always had everything we needed throughout the day. The next day Melissa had all of our stuff including my veil, wedding dress, cake, and decor perfectly organized and ready for us to take. If anything didn’t go exactly as planned, we truly had no idea because everything ran so smoothly and seamlessly.
Beyond that, the food at our wedding was delicious, my husband and I loved it, and our guest are still raving about it. The bar service was quick and efficient. We were also lucky enough to have perfect summer weather, which allowed us to get married outside on the deck overlooking the ocean. The setting was absolutely stunning and made our day feel even more special. Professionally executed coastal summer wedding
My husband and I got married at the Beauport on August 3rd 2025, and we had an incredible experience working with the Beauport Weddings team from the beginning of the planning process all the way through the big day itself. Our event manager Melissa was an absolute joy to work with, helping us craft a timeline to match our priorities for the big day, answering all of our questions in (and between) our planning meetings, and making us feel comfortable and taken care of on wedding day with her professionalism, poise, and kindness. She even helped prepare our young ring bearer and flower girls for their walk down the aisle so that their parents and grandparents could focus on their own duties! Melissa and the rest of the event staff were clearly knowledgeable and experienced, ensuring that everything went off without a hitch so that Daniel and I were able to relax and enjoy our big day. The beautiful location and ability to stay at the venue the night before and of the wedding was a huge plus for us and our wedding day VIPs. Everyone who stayed at the Beauport for the wedding mentioned how generous and helpful the hotel staff were during their stay (chocolates and wine for us and our wedding party was a generous touch!) Both the outdoor and indoor spaces at the Beauport are beautiful, and our guests raved about the quality of the food and signature cocktails. We can’t express enough how pleased we were with our venue choice, and we’re excited to dine and stay at the Beauport to celebrate anniversaries or just have a fun weekend away! -

We were married at Beauport on September 27th, and it was beyond magical! It truly was the most perfect day, and we are still floating on cloud nine. From the very beginning, our coordinator Melissa delivered a spectacular experience. She handled every detail with flawless professionalism and always went the extra mile, checking in throughout the planning process and on the wedding day itself.
The venue is stunning, and our guests are still raving about the food. As a vegetarian, I was thrilled by how many delicious options were available for me too. We would recommend Beauport to absolutely everyone, and we already can’t wait to come back for our anniversary!

Literally the BEST. Our coordinator Brittney was excellent. She was kind, knowledgeable, responsive and just overall so amazing to work with. She answered every question and concern and gave us so much confidence along the way.
From the moment we checked in, everything was absolutely perfect. Our room was ready early and we were welcomed with a bottle of sparkling wine and a nice card. The bridal suite was spacious and had great lightening. We had breath taking views of the ocean and even got to over look the event deck. The roof top pool was a favorite spot for us and our guests to hang out during the weekend. The food was AMAZING and the staff was great!
Our wedding day was absolutely seamless, it ran like a well oiled machine. All of our guests were commenting on how great the apps and dinner was and how great the event space was. One thing our older guests enjoyed was that there were some tables set up in the side room where dessert and coffee was served. They could enjoy themselves without the loud music/ partying. The dance floor was the perfect size for our 170 guest wedding.
One thing that really stood out to us was when we returned to our room that night, our large floral arrangements were set up in our room with a very nice hand written card and gift from the Beauport. We felt so special.
I feel like I could go on and on and on about how amazing this venue was. Worth every single penny and second we invested planning.

Most Amazing Day Ever
Our wedding at The Beauport this past July was an absolute dream come true! Amanda, our coordinator, was a true gem. Her communication was beyond amazing, and she effortlessly guided us through the entire process.
Our guests were blown away by the beauty of the venue and couldn't stop raving about the incredible food. My husband and I married at the Beauport last month on November 4th. It truly was a fairy tale and we couldn't say enough great things. Our journey with the Beauport started almost by accident, as we were in the hotel not realizing it could be a potential wedding venue. We stumbled into the ballroom and immediately were taken by it's brightness, with 2 full walls of ocean-facing windows, by the huge bar in the center of the room, and by the wood floor (meaning the entire room could be a dance floor!). Going out on the deck gave us both chills, envisioning saying "I do" next to the ocean, in the New England coastal setting of our dreams. We didn't have a formal tour set up that day, so we asked some folks working there if anyone was available. That was the first moment we experienced the impeccable Beauport service. Members of the staff were not only accommodating but they truly shared in our newly engaged excitement. They were so enthusiastic about us considering them and so helpful. We immediately felt like we we'd be in good hands if we chose to marry there. From the moment we signed the contract, the events staff was extremely prompt in answering any of our questions and always so helpful. Caleb from Group Travel was amazing with managing our room block. I think he probably did 5+ crosschecks of our entire guest list against the reservations that weekend which couldn't have been a quick task. He always did so like it was no big deal at all and always so fast! Before we knew it it was time to be assigned a wedding coordinator and we were so lucky to have gotten Amanda Pollock. She was an absolute dream. From the first time we met with her we felt like we were in the absolute best hands possible. She answered all of our questions without any hesitation, knowing the Beauport as well as all flower/photo/dj vendors in seemingly the entire North Shore/Boston area like the back of her hand. Beyond this was her calming and warm presence. Amanda had a way of making us feel SO at ease and like there was no need to stress, cause she had our backs. We left each meeting with her feeling on top of the world with a new sense of excitement about our upcoming nuptials. The weekend of the wedding, Amanda and the entire Beauport team made us feel so special and truly made everything go off without a hitch. All of the little details around timing and coordinating all of the vendors were all taken care of for us so that all we had to do was enjoy ourselves and soak in the moment. We were so lucky to have a gorgeous fall day, and to see our visions come true – saying "I do" on the deck, the sun coming out from the overcast sky just as I walked down the aisle. I'm getting emotional writing about it because it was truly, truly just perfect. The rest of the evening was too – the space was airy and bright and big enough for all of our 150 guests to feel like they could move around, get a drink without waiting in a long line, and DANCE! The arrangement of tables all around the dance floor made it feel so inclusive and like there was not a bad seat in the house. The afterparty being at the Beauport bar was SO convenient and fun! All of the firepits were open to us outside and to see all of our family and friends sit around them enjoying the end of the evening was a sight we'll never forget. Truly could never recommend the Beauport enough and say enough great things about Amanda and the entire staff. -

My husband and I got married at the Beauport this past Sunday, 10/29 and it was the most perfect fairytale wedding! It was everything I ever imagined and more. Melissa was our wedding coordinator and from the second we met her for our first meeting she was nothing but helpful and made everything so stress free. She is amazing at what she does. From helping us choose our menu, deciding with us on our signature drinks, answering my endless questions on logistics and timeline, helping us with our room block - all the way to helping me set up my escort cards and stringing oyster shells during our decor drop off while letting me set up my own arbor. She relieved all my pre-wedding nerves, made the day run so smoothly, and helped create the most perfect day. So many guests at the wedding complimented the food saying it was the best they ever had at a wedding as well. Melissa was also the talk of the night by our families as they couldn’t believe how easy she made everything for us! I will always have amazing things to say about Melissa and the Beauport and am so sad that the day is over.
We can’t wait to visit every year to celebrate our anniversary! I highly recommend having your wedding here! Everything was so beautiful! -

10/10 Experience
The most magical day at the most perfect venue. My husband and I got married at the Beauport on Labor Day weekend of 2023. I truly am speechless and am at a loss for words when it comes to the day. To say it exceeded all of my expectations and wildest dreams, would be an understatement. I had the pleasure of working closely with Amanda, who was absolutely fantastic. I know everybody says this, but we really had the best day ever. We were lucky enough to have the most insane weather of the summer (and if you live anywhere in the Boston area, you know summer 2023 has broken records of rainfall). It was also Schnooers weekend, which is a sailboat festival in Gloucester every LDW, so picture the unbelievable ocean backdrop, with a bunch of sailboats – magic. My husband and I (and a few friends) started the weekend on Thursday, had dinner at the 1606 restaurant (which was phenomenal) and spent Friday all day at the pool with our closest family and friends (this was seriously one of the best days). Saturday was the day of the wedding and it was a fairy-tale. The entire day, everything went as planned. I was fully prepared for something to go wrong, but there was not one thing I could pinpoint. We did get married offsite (at a church in Manchester-by-the-Sea and took pics at Bass Rocks (which was a beautiful spot @ future brides!)) but were lucky enough to have the cocktail hour outside on the deck starting at 5pm. We purchased the raw bar, which was a HIT! My guests cannot stop talking about it! All of the other passed appetizers were amazing (the short rib grilled cheese and the rice balls were my favorite). I was very adamant on getting on the dance floor ASAP and that’s exactly what Amanda did. She was able to execute all of my (crazy) ideas (@ brides, you understand) without fail and the execution was absolutely seamless. All of my décor, my direction, every single thing we talked about in my meetings leading up to the day was fully fulfilled. Dinner was amazing – like seriously, the best food I’ve ever had at a wedding (and my guests can account for this)! I’ve never received so many messages about the food alone – people LOVED it. We were also lucky (and brides if you are getting married LWD on the Saturday keep this in mind), to have a firework show (put on by the city of Gloucester) at 9:30pm, which was absolutely surreal and just a perfect ending to an amazing day. The Beauport really blew our wedding out of the water and I would not have changed a single thing about the day. It is not only the most beautiful venue but the staff and people are really wonderful and make you feel so so special. Also shout out to Alisha Norden for these amazing pics (she's so special). -

My husband and I got married at the Beauport Hotel in Gloucester MA on June 2, 2023 and are over the moon for how our experience and day panned out. Our coordinator, Amanda P., was extremely thorough, thoughtful, and always a step ahead of us. Amanda made us feel so welcomed, heard, and worked effortlessly help customize the wedding package to include everything we wanted to make our day so "us" including sourcing in specific wine that was not on the original bar list, and ordering me a special meal for dinner that we did not offer to the guests. She handled all our decor gracefully (and we brought in A LOT!) and she was able to set the space up exactly how I envisioned it in my head, without having to ask us questions day off. The ballroom and venue space at the Beauport Hotel offer a unique and beautiful view of Gloucester and Cape Ann. For most of our guests, this was their first time at the venue and all have shared such positive reviews some have even booked future weekend stays to go back! The food was incredible, fresh, and so delicious - our guests all have said it was the best wedding food they have ever had. My husband and I are trying to convince our friends to get married at the Beauport Hotel so that we can attend as a guest at a place that is so special to us!
The entire experience with the hotel was perfect from arrival, the valet and concierge, housekeeping staff, bartenders, a special gift on our wedding night, chocolates on our pillows at turndown service, and more. All the staff are cheerful and so happy to assist. If you are considering having your wedding here, stop thinking about it and just go book it! We could not be happier!

Dream wedding
The most beautiful wedding venue! My husband & I got married at Beauport on 5/19/23 and it was the day we’ve been dreaming of, plus more! From the moment we walked into the hotel for our venue tour, we knew that we would be getting married there. We had to wait over 1.5 years to get the date that we wanted, and it was 100% worth it! From breathtaking views to amazing food and attentive staff, the Beauport is five stars. We also want to thank Melissa, our coordinator, who made sure our wedding day was perfect. I wish we could re-do our wedding, just so we could experience the day again! My husband & I will be visiting the Beauport many more times in the future. Definitely recommend! -

My husband and I recently got married at the Beauport the weekend after Thanksgiving. From the very beginning, before we had even decided on the Beauport as our venue, the communication and accommodating nature of the Beauport stood out to us. The entire team of coordinators worked together to accommodate out needs, and we were set from the moment we walked in. Our wedding coordinator, Melissa, was AMAZING. She always promptly responded to my (many) emails, and was flexible with accommodating our schedules so we could do all of our meetings in person. Living out of state was challenging and often meant we needed to meet on a weekend morning, which she always made work. Day of decor drop of, was seamless, even with a holiday weekend. Coordination between Melissa, and all of our vendors was stress free. On the big day, Melissa made sure everything went to plan. I was a little nervous about not having an option for a rehearsal due to the nature of their schedule, however, we trusted in Melissa and her teams experience, and we are so glad that we did, everything went PERFECT! Melissa made sure I made it down to the appropriate space without my husband or guests seeing me. She accommodated a first look with our pup and communicated clearly so all of our bridal party knew where to be and when during the ceremony. When our bridal party had accidentally eaten my tray of GF apps, she very kindly refilled it so that I could be sure to eat during cocktail hour. She attended to my husband and I throughout the reception to make sure we stayed on schedule and always had what we needed, without feeling like we were overwhelmed. Overall, thanks to Melissa, and the entire Beauport wedding team, we had the most beautiful dream wedding. We cannot recommend them enough. We are so glad we took the recommendation from a family friend, and have been able to pass that along to others! -

Beauport Wedding July 2022
We were a COVID wedding rescheduled a few times original date in 2020, then 2021 and finally 2022. The Beauport event staff was incredible at managing this and keeping us at ease throughout the pandemic, working with us through all of the challenges with rescheduling. We finally had our day in early July and our event manager, Nichole Aramo was absolutely amazing. I cannot put into words how perfect our wedding day was with her help. She helped us outline every detail, highlighting what was most important to us, and ensured that we had the most amazing time throughout the day/evening. Our entire wedding party commented on her positive and friendly demeanor, organization and just overall helpfulness with everything and anything. The Beauport is such a dream venue already (the only one we saw to be honest) but to have such an amazing team that ensures people have their perfect day, the way they dream of it is something so special. I only wish we could do it all over again. Thank you so much for everything you did for us! -

Where do I even begin?! My now husband and I booked the Beauport as our venue back in the summer of 2018, our wedding was originally scheduled for October 2020 but we unfortunately had to postpone. We are lucky we did because we wouldn’t have had the opportunity to meet Kendra. We scheduled our first meeting with her and were instantly blown away. She was SO incredibly nice and an absolute pleasure to work with. She was so sweet throughout the whole process. As many know, planning can be stressful. One night I think I blasted her with emails because my mind was just spinning. She got on the phone with me and answered all my questions and helped me work through everything. She was so patient through it all. Fast forward to the big day...she came to check on me and let me know how things were going with set up. She made sure everything was in the right place, people were where they needed to be and didn’t skip a beat. Our day was just absolutely seamless. We are SO grateful we had Kendra’s support on our wedding day and she will forever hold a special place in our hearts for helping us make our day so special. -

Best venue!
The Beauport Hotel was the first place we looked at when trying to find a venue. Nothing else compared and we could not be happier with our choice. If you are looking for a venue with breathtaking views, professional staff, a place for everything (ceremony, reception, guest accommodations), amazing food/service and a place to go to celebrate future anniversaries this is THE one!
The food is INCREDIBLE - Numerous guests have told us it was the best they have ever had at a wedding.
The rooms are SO nice. In the warmer months, it is great to have access to the rooftop pool and even during the winter it is so beautifully decorated and cozy!
The view and atmosphere is BEAUTIFUL and you will get the best pictures. Unless you are having your ceremony off site, you don’t need to worry about having transportation.
The staff is so professional and accommodating. Everyone at Beauport goes above and beyond to make your time enjoyable. The sales/events team at Beauport is top notch. We were matched with Devan Taylor as our coordinator from the day we toured and were so lucky to stay with her 3 years later. Devan is so amazing at what she does and helped us navigate through all the unknowns of covid. Not a detail was missed and she truly gave us the wedding of our dreams. She kept us so organized, was always responsive, and continued to be flexible and accommodating throughout the whole process. All we had to do was drop our decorations off the week of the wedding and she did EVERYTHING— even packed it up so perfectly for us to take home the day after. We also had the pleasure of working with Nate Gaul. He was so personable, proactive, thoughtful and so organized especially during times that our room block situation was impacted with rescheduling from 2020. He continually went above and beyond to make our experience so enjoyable.
Our guests are still talking about our wedding day and weekend spent at the Beauport Hotel and we can’t stop thinking about how perfect it was! We can’t imagine having our wedding anywhere else and are so excited to have such a beautiful spot to go to for years to come! -

Cannot say enough great things about our wedding at Beauport Hotel! We were married on 9/25/2021 and had both our ceremony and reception on site. Could not have been happier with our experience. All of our guests had an amazing time, raved about the food (which is EXCELLENT), and commented about the professionalism and politeness of the entire staff - leading to a smooth and effortless event. The space is incredible; essentially you get an entire wing of the hotel including private deck space, foyer, side room, and private space for the wedding party to place all items prior to ceremony entry. The hotel rooms themselves are beautiful, clean, and great for "getting ready" pictures. Beauport also offers a King Suite complimentary for the night of the wedding for couples getting married, which we booked for Friday, as well. The hotel room bookings can get complicated due to the amount of weddings in the area on a given weekend. Although they only host one event on site per day, out of town guest may have difficulty booking outside of the wedding night due to the demand and other weddings in the area who may be utilizing the hotel for room blocks. And while they say they try and prioritize the weddings on site, we would still recommend booking hotel rooms early. All together it was a great experience.
We truly couldn't write this review without commenting on our amazing event coordinator from Beauport, Kendra L. She was assigned to us about 3-4 months before the wedding and acted as a true day-of extraordinaire. All we needed to do was coordinate drop off of our personal decorations, and Kendra did the rest! From coordinating with our vendors, fielding all of our covid concern questions, to helping set up the beautiful ceremony and reception space. She even had our decorations packed and ready for pick up the next morning! Truly a hands off approach for couples, which ensured we took in as much of our day as possible without worrying about the little details. Our parents and wedding party (who tend to get rowdy) were also very impressed with her professionalism, polite yet firm attitude (which is tough to pull off as gracefully as she did), and her organization. Thank you, Kendra, for helping make our day perfect!
Would highly recommend Beauport for any couples looking for a truly professional, classy, and stunningly beautiful wedding!

We got married here on 9/11/2021 and we cannot say enough about the Beauport hotel. Our experience was incredible from start to finish. Our night was perfect beyond measure. Things that could have been stressful were made fun, worries (of any kind at any point in this process) were eliminated with an email to our coordinator Kendra. Ask for her by name, book with her, have FUN and let her do her job. She was the glue that held this together, the sanity in a sometimes crazy stressful environment - managing not only vendors and details like where and when our decor would go but also being aware of family dynamics and ensuring that every little thing went flawlessly. We don’t know what they pay her but we can assure you it isn’t enough. Luckily, tips are never expected but always appreciated and we showed ours 😂.
The food at the Beauport is a seafood lovers dream. Raw bar, cheese table (get it everyone eats it even if they say they don’t), passed apps, *fried oyster shooter was amazing*, guest favorite was the shrimp and grits. We did the lobster and steak which was awesome but the cod dinner was really I think my favorite. For vegetarians the artichoke raviolis were SO good.
The staff here was flexible to any and all of our requests and they were quite efficient. We don’t like wedding cake or any of the formalities that go along with a cake so we passed out snickers ice cream bars. The waiters came back around with plates of them and everyone continued dancing and having their Snickers ice cream. It was amazing.
The Beauport hotel itself is an amazing environment. Every little detail of the place has that New England coastal charm - dock cleats for the dresser drawer handles, seashells for door knockers. It’s beautiful and to have an out of town wedding like ours, our guests LOVED the location, felt the hotel was truly luxurious and are even planning to go back!!
We look forward to our honeymoon but are already planning our trip back to enjoy this space once again in the fall.

100000% recommend Beauport Hotel as a wedding venue. The hotel itself is beautiful, ocean views are incredible. We worked with Devan as our coordinator and she was amazing- so easy to work with and very responsive and patient with us. She made sure everything ran smoothy, from the planning the months before, to organizing on the actual wedding date. I felt like I didn't need to worry about a thing! It unfortunately rained so they had to pivot from our outdoor ceremony to inside, but it was still just as beautiful. We could not be more pleased with how everything turned out. Food was also incredible- we've been getting nonstop compliments from our guests. We would choose Beauport again and again. -

Best Wedding Vendor Ever!!!!
My husband and I finally got to have our bigger wedding/celebration at the Beauport last weekend and it was truly a dream. We booked our wedding for May 2020 and unfortunately had to postpone due to lockdown. All the staff are amazing but particularly Nichole and Danielle. They were incredibly supportive and accommodating as we navigated moving our wedding to 2021 and adjusted for MA state reopening guidelines. I got multiple compliments from our guests that our wedding was the best they’ve ever been to. The food is AMAZING! Every staff member working at our wedding was so kind and professional. Nichole ensured every detail was perfect and exactly how I envisioned. We are so incredibly lucky we got to have our wedding here and dance the night away! Gosh, where to begin. Like other corona-brides, this year has been a total whirlwind. Lots of emotions, decisions, and changes. However, working with the Beauport has been the most amazing part of this year. They were behind any decision that I wanted to make—postponement, cancellation, or down-sizing to mini-wedding, which is the choice we eventually made. Although we had to majorly slash our guest list due to state regulations, the mini-wedding package offered by the Beauport really seemed to be the best of both worlds—my husband and I would be able to celebrate with our closest family and friends and not feel like we had to wait another year to get married. We thought to ourselves, if we feel like this mini-wedding isn’t enough, we could always have a bigger celebration later.
It was enough. MORE that enough. It was the perfect night. I felt like I lost nothing, gave up nothing, to have my perfect wedding in the middle of a pandemic. Nichole and her team are AMAZING. I can’t say enough good things. About six weeks before the wedding I met with Nichole in person to talk about details and honestly, with all the back-and-forth with corona, I hadn't put back on my planning hat and had very few of those last-minute details figured out. I was overwhelmed and had suppressed my excitement for so long. Nichole has this infectious energy and truly loves what she does—I left that meeting with so many new ideas and genuinely excited again for the big day.
I could go on, and on about the Beauport, but besides their care during this crazy year, its a gorgeous venue (even indoors, where we had our ceremony due to OCTOBER snow!), with amazing staff, and incredible food. We looked at many places for our wedding before deciding on the Beauport and we are so happy we did. Everything was top-notch - it is a beautiful hotel, Alex our coordinator was great to work with, and the food was outstanding! We received many, many compliments from guests on how delicious their meals were and how much they loved the beautiful setting. Plus, all of the staff there, from the door men to the concierge to the front desk, were so welcoming and helpful. It was just a lovely experience all around - for bride, groom, and guests! Our Most Perfect Day!
When our 40 person small cocktail party celebration, morphed into 150 people invite and ceremony on site, we were regretting not sticking to our original plan. The planning, the cost, the headaches that just come along with it all. However, when the day came we had a complete change of heart. I couldn't have asked for a more PERFECT day. Danielle and her time, managed to execute this day flawlessly and there was not one detail missed. This coming from a little neurotic, detail oriented bride. Leaving "your" day in someone else's hands can be challenging for brides, but rest assure The Beauport will provide you with your dream day. -

We got married on New Year’s Eve at the Beauport hotel. I cannot explain how magical the entire night was and that is all due to our wonderful vendors and Alex Ferraro our wedding coordinator. He took great care of us from day one and I love his no nonsense approach to his weddings. I knew when I met him he was the guy that would make sure everything went smoothly and he certainly did. If you haven’t visited the Beauport yet- GO- NOW- even for a drink at the bar or to have dinner at the restaurant. It’s like nothing this area has ever had and will please everyone in your family. It’s top notch. As for the food at our wedding it was out of this world. Vinewood catering is unbelievable and will serve you food more along the likes of a five star rated Michelin restaurant rather than your typical boring hotel chicken. I cannot recommend the Beauport more but I will say when you do book them as the bride and groom take an extra day at the hotel to stay and unwind after all the guests have left. We did that and had a lovely quiet dinner in town and enjoyed our stay in the wonderful wedding suite for one more night.
Ask for Alex if you want the best. He is phenomenal and will go above and beyond for you. -

The most amazing wedding venue! We got married here on 11/17/18 and truly had the best day of our lives thanks to the Beauport. From the moment our guests arrived they were blown away by the charm and beauty of the hotel as were we the day we checked it out. We knew right away we wanted to get married there and we are so glad we did. Caroline was our wedding planner and she made our day absolutely perfect. She is so helpful and makes the process so easy, along with her co work Mackenzie! The hotel staff is so friendly and welcome and the restaurant is amazing. The huge bar is a comfy, cozy spot to hang out after your wedding also! Not to mention the food at our wedding was truly delectable, from the appetizers, to the entree to the late night snacks. We got so many compliments on the food. We truly cannot say enough good things about the Beauport, Caroline and the rest of the staff. They go above and beyond to make your special day beyond spectacular with so many nice little touches. If you're thinking about getting married here, do it! -

My husband and I went through the whole wedding venue selection process of trying to find the best location for us while still staying within our budget. Growing up on the south shore of MA, we tried all of the typical locations from Cape Cod up through Boston. On a friend’s recommendation, we decided to look to Cape Ann and we’re thrilled that we did. The moment we walked into the Beauport Hotel, we whispered “This is so fancy, we’ll never afford this” to each other. From the get-go, the staff was overly attentive, accommodating, and happy to help in any way possible. They have the absolute best customer service of any company we’ve dealt with; really reminds us of the old-school “the customer is always right” mentality, and every worker goes out of his/her way to make you feel like the most special guest at the hotel. They were exactly what we were looking for, and we booked a November 2020 wedding, with plans to have 125 guests.
Fast forward to COVID-19, and all of our plans changed. Listening to the news projections that COVID-19 could be much worse in the fall/winter months potentially jeopardizing our wedding, we expressed our concerns to the Beauport. We asked if there was any potential to move our date up to one of the summer months in order to take advantage of the outdoor patio space. The Beauport staff (especially the event director, Danielle, and event sales manager, Devan) were completely understanding of our changing plans and were very eager to work with us to find something that worked within the state’s restrictions. They were so flexible and accommodating, and truly wanted to help make something work, and make it special. They ultimately created a beautiful ‘micro’ wedding package that allowed us to hold a small reception in a private section of their outdoor deck on a gorgeous day in August 2020. Danielle and her team were very reasonable with regards to our contract, considering our wedding party size and venue requirements downsized significantly from our original plans.
We cannot say enough about how great our experience was that weekend. The Beauport was serious about following COVID-19 safety policies, and everyone in our small wedding reception felt very safe celebrating and staying at the Beauport. We were all incredibly impressed by their customer service and attention to detail. The food was excellent, and the views were from the deck were amazing. Overall, we had an incredible experience in a beautiful venue that I highly recommend! My husband and I can’t wait to go back!

We could not have asked for a better wedding! Everything was set up and went exactly as we pictured. We also appreciated all the flexibility - we were able to change around meal options however we wanted. I would recommend this venue to anyone!
