  My husband and I absolutely loved Kay! We had originally planned on having her and plans changed, but we were able to grab her again. We couldn't be more happy with this exchange! The more experience we have had with her on both a professional and personal level, the more there is to love. Definitely the highest on the list of recommendations!

  Kay did a wonderful job of making my husband and I, as well as our guests, feel very comfortable getting our photos taken during our wedding. She was professional, unobtrusive, easy to work with and great at getting us to feel at ease in front of the camera. The photos are amazing! We will forever have vivid memories of our wedding because of Kay's skilled work with capturing both posed and candid shots. We are very pleased with our overall experience working with Kay Beaton!

  Beaton Photography was by far the best possible choice to shoot our wedding! Besides the fact that she is affordable, the quality of service is beyond anything I ever imagined. After our ceremony, we snowboarded down the mountain and Kay was with us every step of the way. She was skiing backwards, on the ground, and flying down the mountain to capture all the best moments! She had the perfect mix of candids and posed. She was able to capture both the beauty and the excitement of the day. Everyone at the wedding kept remarking at what a phenomenal photographer we had. We could not be happier with Beaton Photgraphy and highly, highly recommend to anyone and everyone in need of a great photographer. She will not disappoint!

  Kay was wonderful at our wedding! She followed our wishes when it came to the style of photographs that we wanted, she was fun and pleasent to be around and had a great knowledge of the area. We got married in Keystone, CO. I still look at our photos on a regular basis and adore them!

  We couldn't be happier with our choice to hire Kay as our wedding photographer. She was so easy to work with and took the most beautiful photos. You can tell how much Kay loves what she does by looking at her work. The photos she took through out our wedding day capture all of the emotion and energy of the day. Any couple would be lucky to have Kay as their photographer.

  I give Kay Beaton the highest recommendation for wedding photography. We were married in a semi-secluded area of the Rocky Mountains near Silverthorne. She was on time and had all her extra camera batteries on-site! Kay not only provided candid photos from our Friday evening rehearsal party and got to know several of our guests, but was just so pleasant during the time I was dressing for the ceremony (I was late and a tad frantic). She took really unique and wonderful candids throughout the entire process of all attendees (even the musicians). Between her personality and talent, the overall result was tremendously satisfying for my husband and I.

  The Worst Experience in Quality and Professionalism

  I would not recommend this photographer for any couple, family or professional. She has refused to provide the minimum number of photos we have paid $3,000 for, refused editing and refused to provide us the photos without making us sign away that we would not write a negative review on any social media platform. Please save yourself from a disaster and do not use this photographer for your family, wedding or professional photos. She has no ethics and is a narcissist. As you can see from the attached photos no attention to detail was given (photos of the groom's parent's shoes) and we have a photo of a complete stranger, possibly from a different event.
