The "Best" In Motion

If we could give Bear-in-Motion (BIM) 100 stars, we most definitely would. They just made everything so easy and flawless, and the final product was unbelievable. There is so much to say about them, though we wanted to share just one moment that captures the team's greatest trait and gives BIM the ability to film and produce great content; empathy. As in most wedding days, our schedule got pushed back by ~30 minutes. We had a special dance (Zorba Dance) that we definitely wanted recorded, though with the delay, the dance wouldn't make it in the video, since we only had BIM until 9:30pm. Despite that, I asked Josh on the spot at 9:00pm if he would be willing to stay an extra 30-45 minutes past 9:30pm to record it, and with the biggest smile on his face, he said absolutely, and ended up staying free of charge. Our experience with other vendors was not the same. This simple moment shows BIM's unique ability to walk in the wedded couple's shoes and do the best job because they understand the significance of capturing the special day to the couple. This sort of empathy and human connection is easy to lose when you record tens of weddings per year. BIM still got it! Thank you so much. We would be happy to share more about our experience with BIM if any couple is interested in hearing more.

Josh - Bear in Motion

Josh went above and beyond and created the most amazing feature film, trailer, and documentary edit for us. Josh and Rob were with us from start to finish on our wedding day and captured every moment we could ever want to relive from our special day. From even before our wedding day, Josh took the time to answer any and all questions we had. Receiving our wedding trailer, feature film, and the documentary edit which captured every important part of the night, from our first look and vows, to speeches, ceremony, introductions and first dances, and our cake cutting and so much more was so special for us. We’ve rewatched our videos countless times already, and we look forward to watching them many more times to come. Every time we rewatch, we notice something new, and Josh’s artistic abilities continue to amaze us. We cannot recommend Josh and Bear in Motion more highly, and can confidently say that they will provide you with the best experience and will leave you with a product you’ll appreciate for the rest of your life!

If you’re reading this, you’re probably wondering if you should book Bear in Motion for your wedding. Let me save you the suspense: YES. Do it. Immediately.

I’ve worked in the television industry for 15 years, and I can honestly say Bear in Motion creates some of the most premium, heartwarming content I’ve ever seen. They were such a priority that I checked their availability BEFORE booking my venue—yes, they’re that good.

They captured everything: the emotion, the love, the fun, the energy, the comedy. Their “fly on the wall” approach means you barely notice they’re there, yet somehow they manage to capture it all. They take the time before your wedding to ask all the right questions so nothing important slips through the cracks (and so if there are moments you’d prefer to keep private, like private vows ahead of your ceremony, they’ll respect that too).

Their gear is next level—the cameras, drones, audio, etc. so you get a highly cinematic production that feels like a feature film.

But what really sets them apart is their storytelling. This isn’t just a highlight reel of pretty shots—it’s the story of your day, it’s your love story, and you can trust Bear in Motion to tell your story with such artistry and care.

Watching our film feels like reliving the day all over again. Honestly, I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. If you’re lucky enough to book them, don’t think twice.

Josh and his team were absolutely a dream to work with. We simply can not put into words how amazing they were to work with. We have re-watched our video every single day since receiving it and are amazed every single time! He paid attention to every single detail and we are so grateful we got to work with this team. Bear in motion was our only option for videography- we would have picked another day if they were not free! Truly the best of the best.

Hire Bear in Motion!!!

Anyone second guessing whether or not to hire a videographer to capture your wedding day, DO IT and hire Bear in Motion! My wife and I have so many amazing things to say about Josh and Rob. Our photographer, Mary Kelly, recommended using Bear in Motion as they have worked closely together in numerous weddings and hiring them for our wedding in September 2023 was one of the best decisions we made for the day. We were interested in finding a videographer who could capture all of the major moments throughout the day and distill it into a short video that we would be able to watch everyday and truly feel like we were transported back to our wedding day - and Josh did just that. From our initial conversation, we immediately knew we wanted him to be a part of our day as it truly felt like we were speaking to an old time friend. Initial planning all the way through to our wedding day was seamless. Prior to the wedding, Josh helped put together our timeline, which had a challenge of capturing two brides getting ready since we are an LGBTQ couple, and discussed our vision for our wedding film. He also spoke to us in detail about our mic needs and concerns, and walked us through exactly how we would be mic'd during the ceremony (which was a BREEZE with the mini mic pack and leg strap he provided and barely noticeable). On our wedding day, Josh and his additional shooter, his brother, Rob, were extremely professional, easy-going and were barely obtrusive to our guests' experience. In just a little over 2 month turnaround time, Josh already had all of our wedding video and footage ready for us!! We received a large amount of footage in hour and a half wedding documentary film that included us getting ready/reading our vows, our first look, our full ceremony, our entrance and first dance, dances with our fathers, full speeches, cake cutting and a bunch of other great dance floor footage! Our short film was even more than we could have asked for, capturing so many feels in just 4 minutes and 45 seconds. Bear in Motion truly exceeded all of our expectations, and we have video footage and new friends that we will cherish for a lifetime!

Incredible video and group to work with!!!

Josh and the bear in motion team are incredible!!! They are prompt with responses, open to questions and professional. Not to mention extremely talented at what they do! Being recorded isn’t natural for most people but Josh and his team make it easy for my fiancé and I to relax and simply enjoy the day. They truly captured all the joy and gave us a video and memories we will cherish forever!!! If you are debating on whether to hire Bear in Motion trust me you will not be disappointed!!!!!

Beyond anything we could have dreamed of!

As the daughter of a retired wedding videographer, we were absolutely blown away by the professionalism, quality of work, and artistry that Josh and the entire Bear in Motion team exemplified before, during and after our wedding. Our wedding portfolio exceeded all of our extremely high expectations, and we were so happy we chose Bear in Motion to create our film. Josh and team filmed our day with a drone and high quality video equipment, never missing a beat.

The audio was extremely clear and visuals were crystal clear. They created an amazing portfolio with digestible videos for our friends and family to watch. Josh got to know my husband and I so he could get a feel for us personally as a couple and to help select the most perfect music to accompany our film, and I mean perfect. Amazing music to masterfully create a truly classy and sophisticated film.

We would choose Bear in Motion over and over again to film our day. From the moment of our first call with Josh, we knew we had found a spectacular match to capture our special day. Best Investment Ever

Please book Bear In Motion. You will NOT regret it. During our wedding planning process, I had to convince my husband that a videographer was an essential vendor, not an add-on, and now that he has seen our videos, he totally gets it. A video captures your day in a way a photo just can't, and Josh and his team are truly artists in their craft. They were an absolutely joy to work with and blended seamlessly into our wedding day - I never felt uncomfortable or like the cameras were instrusive. I honestly haven't stopped sobbing since I've received my wedding recap video, and having the footage of our ceremony, speeches, special dances, ketubah signing and cake cutting is seriously priceless. I have been able to share the content with our closest friends and family, and look forward to watching with generations to come. Couldn't Give a Higher Review

I don't even know where to start. We were recommended Bear in Motion by our good friends (we have multiple friends who have worked with Josh and the amazing Bear in Motion crew). We started with some really friendly emails and then had a Facetime call and we hit it off immediately. As this was one of our biggest investments we were unsure at first if we would want a videographer, and everyone else we had contacted did not make us feel we should make the commitment. But after just a few minutes on Facetime with Josh, we knew we couldn't say no. He was so passionate about his work and cared so much for us. So we booked them. Well.... COVID struck and we were so worried about rebooking our vendors and he was so flexible understanding, and reassuring the whole time we were not only relieved but once again reassured that we had made the right choice. They were so generous with accomodating our schedule and went above and beyond anything we expected. On the day of I woke up very hungover and was not feeling great, but when Bear in Motion got there they completely changed my mood around, it felt like they were long-lost friends that were just a part of our day celebrating with us. I felt the love from the entire team and I couldn't recommend these videographers enough. I honestly have already started brainstorming what we could celebrate next so we can hire them again. I read another review on here that questioned Bear in Motion's integrity and passion, it made me so sad because they were the complete opposite of anything that was said. They were so kind, made sure our day was amazing and helped my husband and me have the most amazing day of our lives. We recently got our films and what an emotional rollercoaster of love and happiness we felt. My husband and I watched it twice. We cried happy tears and were just so validated in our choice to have chosen Josh and Bear in Motion. It was so nice to have these moments captured to share and watch each year. One last thing that I have to mention is that Josh and the team were not just our videographers they practically helped us schedule the entire day and let us know what to expect just based on their own experiences including giving us time frames, helping with the DJ and so much more. They really provided us with so much more than just a videography service but so much more you don't even think about going into a wedding day and it was beyond helpful and generous. I could cry just thinking how much they became a part of this amazing day. I honestly had SO much fun with Josh and I am SO happy and blessed we were recommended Bear in Motion. I seriously can't recommend Josh or the team enough. If you are here looking for a videographer, I promise you have just found them.

Absolutely outstanding videographer!

Josh from bear in motion was nothing short of absolutely amazing!! From the day we booked their company, they were extremely responsive and helpful during the entire covid pandemic and having to postpone our wedding. He was accommodating, polite and very easy to work with. On the day of our wedding, josh and his crew made sure to capture every special moment of the day. They were punctual, personable, and made the day stress free for me and my husband. We received our video in a few short weeks and it was even better than we were hoping for! We can't wait to one day show our kids our wedding video and cry all of the tears watching it over and over again. In my opinion, your wedding video is one of the most important ways to capture your special day and there is no one else I would trust with this job! I would choose bear in motion again and again!

Incredible work!

Josh and team were amazing. We weren’t 100% sure we wanted to hire a videographer but we are so glad we did. Josh went out of his way to host multiple calls with me to make sure we were a good fit and was so incredibly nice and professional to work with. The day of Josh and his team captured all of our moments including things I didn’t realize (DRONE FOOTAGE!!!!) and our final trailer and documentary footage was amazing. I sobbed the whole time watching it as it brought back so much and I got to see so much that I had missed. I cannot recommend them enough! Incredible team and incredible work. Definitely a memory we will be able to treasure for a long time.

I am blown away!

Oh my goodness!!! I knew Josh's work was special when I stumbled upon the Bear In Motion website 30 days before my wedding- but special isn't a good description. Josh's work is magical! His attention to detail, kind nature, and his passion deserves more than I can put into words. Josh and his brother Rob were so accommodating during such a stressful time due to COVID. Josh was quick to respond to all my questions, we spoke many times over the phone and via email to come up with a day of plan that was executed flawlessly! I am so obsessed with my highlight video!! Bear in Motion is 5 stars!

My husband and I hired Bear in Motion for our wedding this past July and we could not be more pleased with the final product! Josh and his team spent the entire day with us filming aerial footage of the lake and moments we may have missed. They customized our video to exactly what we had dreamed of. Josh is everything you’re looking for in a wedding vendor and more! He’s kind, reliable, organized, a great communicator, and absolutely amazing at his trade. Although we had an army of outstanding vendors, Josh stood out as our favorite to work with. He was always quick to respond to emails and left us feeling confident that he had everything covered. More importantly, he’s just a great guy who we were glad to have “on our team” for such a momentous life event.

My husband and I were so excited after wrapping up our planning session with Josh. We had a great time getting to know him, and it was clear that Josh was listening and processing our vision for the day. He helped us to brainstorm elements about the day which were important to us and could make our video unique. He took notes while we were chatting, and this showed in the final product. For example, we told Josh that my husband would be wearing his 95yo grandfather’s wedding ring. Josh made it a point to get a phenomenal shot of my husband and his grandfather on the wedding day, together with the ring. Josh’s attention to detail, thoughtful approach, and overall care for his clients/the quality of his work makes him an invaluable partner.

It’s barely worth mentioning Josh’s actual work product, because the videos can speak for themselves. Josh was recommended to us by a friend, and his wedding videos put to shame every other videographer we had researched. His videos truly demonstrate his artistry and aren’t the cliché templates that you see put out by many other vendors. Josh took care in choosing meaningful sections of the family speeches, and the flow of the video leaves you in tears every time.

Josh’s work is worth every penny. We cherish not only the 10 min film he masterfully created, but also the wedding footage he captured from the rest of the day. He was in touch with timing updates during the production process and was professional from start to finish. Thanks for everything, Josh!!

We absolutely LOVED working with Josh and Rob for our wedding video! They captured our wedding so perfectly, and they blended into our wedding seamlessly - by the end, they felt like part of the family. Wow. There is nothing but excellent things to say about Bear in Motion. Josh is simply the best. I feel like I have known him forever! He was on the ball starting with gathering the details and information about our big day, fitting right in with our guests, capturing all the special moments, making us feel comfortable and relaxed during all our takes, as well as keeping in contact with us months after our wedding. Our wedding video is truly magical. It is pieced together better than I could have ever imagined. The music chosen is perfect. This review is long over due! After first meeting Josh, I felt like we had known each other for years. Feeling completely comfortable around him I knew he was going to be able to capture our feelings from our special day. We were planning an entire weekend of festivities and Josh knew how important it would be to capture that too. He offered to came to Lake George a day early to film our rehearsal dinner, followed my groom and his guys to the golf course, and perfectly filmed our wedding so that we can relive our day for many many years. Josh and Vanessa also worked seamlessly with our photographer and other vendors, so they both were able to get beautiful shots. I can’t give Bear In Motion enough praise, we watch our video each year on our anniversary and get just as emotional as we were on our wedding. I recommend them to every bride I know and I always tell people how important it is to plan for a videographer in your budget. Pictures are great to look at but the video will bring you right back to that day.

For as long as I can remember, I have had an obsession with wedding videos. I have watched way too many by a plethora of talented videographers however the game changed and I found the best of the best when we saw my husband’s best friend’s wedding video, created by Bear in Motion. When I watched the teaser, I knew – right away – that we needed get in touch with BIM…ASAP! We reached out to Josh that day (no exaggeration). LUCKILY, they were available the weekend of our wedding. Josh actually recommended a photographer, Erin Covey, who we ended up working with (so grateful) and we couldn’t be happier! She is beyond talented! BIM was an absolute pleasure to work with – from start to finish. Josh & his team were always accessible to answer questions, walk through / clarify details, etc. They are incredibly professional, out-of-this-world talented, open-minded, clear and made the planning process and day-of so much fun & enjoyable. They always knew where to be and how to get the perfect shots. When we received the 3-minute teaser, we were (and still are) truly speechless. It is absolutely magical — above and beyond anything we could have ever imagined. We continue to receive compliments from those who have seen it (some we don’t even know!). Most say that it is the best wedding video that they have ever seen. My favorite comment was “Is this on Netflix because I need to see the whole thing NOW!”  BIM exceeded our expectations… BIG TIME! They managed to capture every emotion and the essence of the whole day in less than 3-minutes. We can’t wait to receive the feature film as I can only imagine how brilliant it will be. We couldn’t be more grateful to have had the chance to work with Josh & the BIM team as they gave us with the best gift we could have asked for – being able to re-live the best day of our lives for years & years to come! We had originally decided not to do a wedding video to save money, but once our photographer shared a video Bear In Motion had done for another couple, we realized how valuable having that footage would be. Josh and his team were such a pleasure to work with and the final product was ABSOLUTELY worth the money. They did a tremendous job really capturing the day and summing it all up in a beautiful 15 minute video. it was truly a motion picture quality! This is one of the best things we spent money on for this wedding because now we have a great way to relive the day for years to come. Josh and his team worked seamlessly with our photographer, the band, the wedding planners, and other vendors to capture the day without adding any extra stress or movement. I've written and rewritten this first sentence three times now. It's hard to express just how meaningful the package Josh and his team put together for us is. It takes my breath away every time I watch it and brings so much joy and LOVE to our families to have that weekend captured so perfectly. You'd think wedding photos would be enough, and they are great, but the videography catches these tiny little moments that become a blur after the big day (especially as bride/groom/parents) that are SO important to the bigger picture. The artistry is amazing, the final product has quite literally taken my breath away. I cry happy tears every single time I watch it. This is something we'll truly treasure forever. Josh- your team is amazing. You guys were behind the scenes and looking back blended right into the family (we hardly noticed you in a good way!!!) your laughter and light heartedness made you a pleasure to work with. Our wedding video is by far our favorite memory of our wedding day -- we were blown away by Josh's work! The way Josh wove together our engagement story, wedding prep-time, wedding ceremony & toasts, moves the piece away from simple documentation of the event, to create a real experience of the day for those who attended, and for those who were unable to do so. As a result, we've received so much joy from watching this video ourselves, and from sharing this piece with our family and friends.

Leading up to our wedding day, he guided us to think through all important aspects relating to our video, while genuinely getting to know us and picking up on small details that allowed him to craft an account of our day that was real and true to who we are. Josh and his entire team at Bear In Motion did an absolutely incredible job on our wedding video. Not only was Josh responsive and flexible from the very start - before we even booked the team - they continued to be understanding of our specific needs and executed flawlessly. We are a very private couple and didn't want certain aspects of our wedding filmed and/or posted on social media or Bear's website. Josh could not have been more understanding in this regard, and it made the quality of service truly exceptional. More than that, the final product was stunning. I have seen a number of friends' wedding videos who got married around the same time as we did, and there is just no comparison. The quality of the work, and the thoughtfulness of the composition, made for a truly beautiful trailer that we feel really captured our special day perfectly. We opted for the cinematic trailer, along with full versions of our ceremony, toasts and dances. Josh and his team captured every moment of our day beautifully, and we are so grateful to have this footage to enjoy for a lifetime. We also barely noticed they were there filming, which was very important to us because we wanted to enjoy the day and not be worried about cameras everywhere. Words cannot describe how happy we are that we were able to have Josh and his team capture our wedding day. The editing of raw footage alone is amazing and something we will have for years to come to allow us to relive a perfect day. And then there is the trailer... Josh's editing and creativity is beyond words. I think I have watched the trailer every day since it was finished and every day I get the same emotions that I had on our wedding day, it is the perfect length and incorporates all the special details to bring us right back to that day. The videos and trailer we have from our wedding are our most cherished documentation and they are well worth the (amazingly reasonable) price. Josh was always so professional and flexible to work with us. In our case he had another wedding booked on the same day so he was not able to attend the wedding and get the actual footage himself, but his team was amazing, courteous, professional, and helpful at the wedding and, again, we could not be happier with Josh's editing and the final product. Josh and his crew take professionalism and creativity to the max! We heard of Josh through friends that used him. We were not even thinking about having a video made until we saw their video. The entire experience was positive. We guided them with a few ideas of things we were doing or wanted recorded but truly without even telling him who was important to us and what events we wanted to see, he was able to capture everyone and everything important to create a wonderful memory for us.

Josh was PHENOMENAL to work with! From the very first point of contact, he was extremely responsive to questions, and followed-up frequently. As we approached the big day, we met via Skype (since we had a few hours of distance between us), and he asked great, insightful questions to gain an understanding of who we are as a couple, what's important to us, etc.

The day-of (and the night before - as we hired him for Rehearsal footage, as well), Josh and his wife, Vanessa, were incredibly professional, energetic, fun and accommodating. Plus, in the BEST way possible, most of us didn't even realize they were there!! They captured amazing footage while remaining subtle and inconspicuous.

The final product was BEYOND fantastic. Both the 5 min. Trailer and the 20 min. Feature Film captured the day perfectly -- from major highlights, to intimate moments and details. We are so happy that we decided to hire Josh and the Bear in Motion team to shoot our wedding.
They were highly recommend by a good friend and we loved the video/documentary from their wedding weekend and Josh did not disappoint.

We always thought we didn't want video from our wedding as I was picturing the big video camera and in-your-face lights that I had seen at other wedding. Josh is the complete opposite--the approach taken to capturing your special day is truly unique. Josh and his crew were almost invisible (in the best way possible) throughout the day--they obtained all the best footage but never felt like they were remotely taking over or trying to control the day. Josh worked so well with my other vendors especially my photograph and made the whole day that much easier for me and my husband!

I am so happy that I will have the wedding trailer as a memory to view (and re-view) for years to come and so glad that I was able to share the same with my family and friends as a wonderful tribute to the day and how special it was. Josh and his team are honestly incredible. Throughout the entire wedding planning process, they were super patient with our millions of questions and demands - always available to chat or Skype, and really took the time to get to know us as a couple. The absolute best vendor! Using Bear in Motion was one of the best decisions we made. From communication to quality to value, you can’t go wrong with BIM. From our initial contact, Josh was attentive, interested & excited-3 things you want from any wedding vendor. In a time when so much contact is done over email, Josh was eager to setup phone calls & meetings. We live in CT & were planning a wedding in Lake George, NY. Despite the distance, Josh was flexible & accommodating & asked all the right questions. He found it important to know what & who to film. Giving him this info weeks in advance was extremely helpful & made our wedding day stress free-we didn't have to tell him "Film Granmda" b/c he already knew what we wanted to capture. This clearly showed when we received the final product. The week of the wedding, Josh made it a point to check in again on the phone & finalized all the plans & details well in advance. On the day of the wedding, working w/ him & Vanessa was a dream-I barely even knew they were there. When I did notice them, they felt like friends & were a huge help. For example, at the church Josh & I realized my husband had not read the pre-wedding letter I had written. Without blinking an eye, Josh assured me he would handle it & there was nothing to worry about. His calmness & down-to-earth manner were reassuring & when we received the video, there was my husband reading the letter! After the wedding, Josh stayed in touch. He provided us w/ honest recommendations as to which package we should upgrade to based on the footage they got. When we received the DVDs (w/ popcorn & candy), we were absolutely blown away. The quality was incredible, the story was beautiful, the details were noticed & the footage was perfect. Josh & Vanessa have impressive talent & it shows. We always knew we wanted Bear in Motion to shoot our wedding video; they had done a gorgeous video for my sister two years prior, and were so nice and easy to work with. We booked them a year and a half before our big day. Bear in Motion (Josh Baron and his wife, Vanessa) helped us every step of the way and were always available to discuss our wedding weekend schedule, song possibilities for the video, you name it! They went above and beyond to cover everything for our wedding weekend... traveling to different venues (rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception) and homes to make sure everything was captured.

Josh and Vanessa are super nice and very professional - we felt completely at ease with them and felt 100% confident with their process. We received our video within the timeline they laid out for us and were so thrilled with the final result. We received a beautiful package with three wrapped DVD's, a bag of popcorn and chocolates (love their thoughtfulness) and a thumb drive with additional edits. On each DVD, we have the trailer, full feature and then edits of speeches, dances, toasts, our ceremony and more. The thumb drive provided us with more edits (cake ceremony and dancing) in addition to what was on the DVDs. The sound was very good and Josh's sense of storytelling definitely came through with his pacing, choice of songs and imagery, and the spoken words he chose to highlight.

I would recommended Bear in Motion to anyone looking to capture their wedding on video. We are 100% pleased and wish we could do it all over again... what a fun day!

They really did such a phenomenal job - many of our guests commented on how great they were. After the wedding, they gave us a time estimate as to when we would receive our wedding film. And as for the finished project - we were absolutely blown away. It was such a beautiful film that I know we will cherish for the rest of our lives. I very highly recommend Bear in Motion for any film needs!

I can't say enough about the Bear in Motion crew. They were so nice, responsive, professional and just overall amazing throughout the whole wedding process. We really enjoyed getting to know them and loved having them there on our wedding day.

Our video is more than we ever expected. The filming, editing and even the packaging was very high end and high quality.

I would highly recommend Bear In Motion to anyone getting married. I shopped around a lot for videographers and found Bear in Motion's videos to be of such a higher quality than then other vendors in the Capital Region.

We got married this past weekend and Josh and Justin were great to us. They were the perfect balance of making sure they got what they wanted to without being intrusive to us at all. There were a few cool shots that they worked hard to get, and other than that, they were all around the wedding venue, the dance floor and getting shots of the guests while not getting in anybody's way. They also worked very cooperatively with our photographer the entire time. Moreover, Josh really did his homework with us beforehand. We spent an hour with him on the phone so he could find out more about us, what we were looking for from him, and making us feel comfortable. Both Josh and Justin are just cool guys, and we'd definitely recommend them! We can't wait to see how the video comes out.

My husband and I went back and forth on whether we wanted to spend the money on a wedding videographer. After seeing a video that Josh and Vanessa did for friends of ours, our minds were quickly made up. From the first time I reached out to Josh, he was incredibly responsive and very professional. Since my husband and I live in Boston, we first "met" Josh over Skype. He does a great job really getting to know the couple, which carries thru to finished product. Josh and Vanessa shot footage both the day before our wedding at a golf tournament and rehearsal, and the day of, catching every single detail over the two days. A couple of months after our wedding we received the trailer and shortly thereafter, the end video. The finished product was beyond what we could have hoped for! It captured our wedding weekend perfectly and was so unique. My husband and I both agree that the video was the best investment we made for our wedding!

Bear in Motion was fantastic! I don't remember even seeing him at the wedding or reception, but when I got the video he didn't miss a thing! The end product was fabulous - beautiful quality, great artistry and such a wonderful way to re-live our big day. Our video is a precious keepsake we will treasure for a long, long time.

Upon writing this review for work done by Josh at Bear In Motion Filmmaking, I realized that I am practically speechless. It is hard to explain in words what he has created with his raw filming talent and unmatchable editing skills. He captured the sense of love between to people, the support of their friends and families, and the beauty of the location of our Big Day - and did it better than we ever could have imagined. We feel genuinely blessed to be able to share our film with our children and families in the future; because as any married couple knows, words don't do the day justice, in a sense you "had to be there." Josh's tremendous abilities do just that, put you directly into the moments for which there are no words. If you are fortunate enough to be able to work with him, DO IT! Believe me, you will not regret it.

Josh is a true professional and amazing artist who captured all the special moments of our wedding, from the rehearsal dinner speeches to the day-of preparations to the ceremony and reception. He has a keen eye for detail and very thoughtfully and artistically created a video that told a story. Josh was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. It is evident that he is truly passionate about what he does, which shines through in his work. We have already enthusiastically recommended him to friends and family who are planning weddings, although his work speaks for itself: we constantly receive compliments from friends and family on our video! We cannot express how happy we are with our video and are so glad we had the opportunity to work with Josh.

Josh was fantastic to work with. Matt & I were indecisive about hiring a videographer but, after I had looked at some of the videos that Josh had created, I wanted him to be at our wedding. Josh was extremely quick to respond during our planning process. On the day of the wedding Josh was very professional and seemed to blend into the crowd. I can hardly remember him there for all the moments that he captured in the video. We had initially only purchased the trailer but afterwards Josh had been flexible and easy to work with when I had asked to purchase all of his additional footage. Matt & I cannot say enough good things about Bear in Motion and how much we love our video. Our only regret was not getting the longer version.

Josh and Vanessa are an awesome team of videographers. They perfectly captured my wedding day and gave me an original product to cherish forever. We hired Bear In Motion after deciding we wanted a more creative way to capture the memories of our wedding day. We Skyped a month before our ceremony to review the schedule of events and final details with the videographer (Josh). The questions he asked us were reflective of his friendly deamor, professionalism, expertise and creativity. When our big day arrived, Josh and his second shooter blended right into the crowd, only checking in periodically -- and never intrustively!-- to make sure they were capturing shots of family and loved ones. The final product arrived right on time in a beautiful (and very personalized) package. The video tells an amazingly detailed story of the day (one that is even better than we remembered!) narrated by the toasts and speeches of our family and loved ones. We got to re-live all of our favorite moments and feel as though we still got to take part in the ones that we missed out on while managing other details of the day with the caterers, DJ, etc. We got to see our ceremony from another angle, listen to the voices of friends and family greeting each other and remember the details of the beautiful scenery (and weather!). Josh also brought us our wedding rings after we forgot them on the way to the church! Our friends are so impressed by the quality of the video and videography and it meant so much to us to be able to send the film to friends and family who couldn't make the trip for our wedding. It made them still feel like they were a part of the day. We can't recommend Bear In Motion enough! And we haven't stopped watching the film since! Thank you, Josh and Co., for these wonderful memories.
