Luke was such an amazing addition to our wedding! He was our first choice for wedding photography and was originally booked up on our date. With Covid changes, we were able to get Bear Beau for our rescheduled, smaller wedding, and we couldn't be happier! Luke brought such a joyful, calm, and helpful presence to our wedding. All of our guests noticed how kind and happy Luke was as he ran around taking pictures, and still talk about how great he was a couple months later.
I really couldn’t imagine our day without the help of Luke. He brought such a calmness that made me and my fiancé relax and just enjoy our day. I was able to rely on him to know our schedule, help with the flow, he remembered details like my veil and bouquet- all sorts of things that helped our day run smoothly. Luke even arrived an hour and a half early than planned to get more getting ready photos and detail pictures, which I appreciated so much!
Luke also worked amazingly with our videographers. Guests thought they were from the same company because their work together at the wedding seemed so seamless! Luke was really kind and respectful to make sure the videographers were able to have their time and space to capture the day as well. Luke is so skilled and quick that we got amazing photos all day long but never felt like we were busy taking photos- the whole day felt natural and easy.
And of course Luke is so extremely talented! We love our pictures so much as they captured the genuine happiness and feel for the day. All the pictures are beautiful!! My husband and I couldn't be happier with the photos we got back and feel so grateful for Luke's above and beyond talent and service for our wedding day. We would recommend Bear Beau to everyone! Out of all the vendors we hired, he was one of the most valuable and made the biggest difference for our day. -

Luke was such a joy to work with, and I can't recommend him highly enough! From our engagement photos to our wedding day, Luke made us feel at ease in front of the camera and captured our love and joy so beautifully. His bubbly personality is infectious, he was so communicative and responsive, and everything turned out perfectly. 10/10 would recommend working with Bear Beau! -

We hired Luke for our micro wedding at Treehouse Point and have no regrets! He was so easy to work with and his photos are beautiful! We received sneak peeks within a couple days and they are amazing! He made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and knew where the best lighting would be. Not only did we get the traditional posed photos, but he captured candid moments and authentic emotion. It really tells the story of our day and how we were feeling! Highly recommend! Do I need to write anything...just look at our photos 😊 Outside of that, Luke seems like such a kindhearted warm human. He also communicates quickly. He always arrives early to the event to scout out the perfect spot in conjunction with the weather. He is helpful at giving directions on how to pose. This probably comes naturally to some, but I can feel a little shy with all the attention. -

We cannot say enough good things about Luke and his skills! From start to finish Luke was attentive, responsive, flexible, and super knowledgeable. During our initial meeting, he was able to answer all of our questions, even putting us at ease during all things covid, and his friendliness and professionalism are so well balanced it felt like talking to a good friend. He kept in contact with us leading up to the wedding, helped us with any last minute things, and even helped put together our day of timeline! On the day of the wedding, he brought such an uplifting and positive energy, and made taking photos a fun experience rather than an awkward task and all of our guests loved the way he was there to capture everything; even the littlest candid or goofy moments! The photos we received from our wedding day are absolute perfection and it feels like reliving our day! His prices are very reasonable considering the amount and quality of edited photos we received. There truly is no one better and we highly recommend Luke to anyone looking for a photographer for their engagement and/or wedding! -

He was responsive leading up to the wedding, so much fun on the wedding day (made us feel comfortable, made us laugh, was kind to every guest), and sent the full photo gallery within the timeline the contract stated. Luke was absolutely a dream come true. Getting married during COVID-19 and having to postpone, cancel and change things over and over again isn't easy. Working with Luke made the process just a little bit easier. He was very flexible and understanding. Great communication and helpful with planning leading up to my wedding. On the actual wedding day, he made me feel comfortable and like we had known each other for years. It almost felt like my best friend was shooting my wedding for me. Above and Beyond (Engagement Photo)
Highly recommend! We came across Bearbeau’s portfolio while looking for an engagement photographer and instantly fell in love with the warmth of his photos. Luke is really good at catching the perfect moments, and he listens to your needs. He is super easy to work with! His easygoingness and friendliness make those awkward photo-taking moments natural, smooth, and FUN. Our photos turned out PHENOMENAL. What can I say… his service and work were just above and beyond our expectations! -

Luke was absolutely amazing!
My husband does not like taking pictures, but Luke found a way to make it fun and enjoyable and really capture the natural, happy moments. Luke responded very quickly each time and made the process so easy and seamless. He was attentive, listened to what we wanted and then totally delivered! His style is so rustic and beautiful and the photos turned out even better than we could have imagined. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a wedding photographer! -

From start to finish Luke, with Bear Beau Photography, was amazing, He was was the rare trifecta of 1) Fantastic and talented photographer, he invisioned and executed the most beautiful shots 2) super fun personality, he made us feel comfortable and really enjoy the day and 3) value, I shopped around a ton to find the right photographer and he was the best value for his skill level I could find. Luke made our day amazing, He not only was an incredible photographer but he also helped to make our day run smoothly by coordinating with our wedding planner and stepping in to help with whatever we needed that day. He also got our photos back to us super quickly. If you are lucky enough to book Luke then you rest assured that your photos are going to be above and beyond. -

Best wedding-related decision we made!
Booking with Bear Beau Photography for our wedding was one of the best wedding-related decisions we made by far! We had a great time shooting with Luke, he made the experience a lot fun and also made us feel so comfortable! (We didnt get to meet his wife Mo who usually shoots with him but heard great things about her too!) We just got all of our pictures back and they are better than we could have ever imagined. He really captured how special and magical our big day was. He has such a great eye and totally nails it when it comes to getting that picture that says a thousand words. I can't express how happy we are with all our pictures and I definitely recommend Bear Beau Photography! -

My partner and I are pretty camera shy and Bearbeau was able to capture us in our natural state without being intrusive. Our photos look so natural and effortless, thank you!! Comfortable, professional and beyond excellent!
We were so thrilled to have Luke capture our sunrise wedding at Tenaya Lake in Yosemite this past September, and for helping make our day so special. Working with him and Mo was so easy, and felt incredibly comfortable and natural. Stellar photography, and genuine, authentic, great people. Not to mention, they were so flexible and accommodating - our wedding started at 6:30am in the middle of a national park! Were forever thankful to have met them and had them capture our day. -

Surpassed my expectations!
Bear Beau knocked our wedding out of the park! Beginning with our engagement shoot, Luke and Mo created the most beautiful and unique images that my husband and I will cherish forever. Our wedding was no different. Luke was so professional all day. He got the shots we wanted without being too demanding or a buzz kill, as I have experienced with other wedding photographers. Our photos turned out so beautifully and we get compliments all the time on how stunning and unique they are. And the turn around to get them back was exactly as promised. I cannot recommend Bear Beau enough! They value cannot be matched. -

They captured our wedding beautifully and my husband and I are so grateful we found them. Not only did they came all the way down to San Francisco for my engagement shoot and took amazing pictures, they withstood the cold SF wind and was accomodating on the locations. It was our first time getting professional pictures taken and they made it so easy for us to be comfortable with them. And the turn around time for our pictures were just a week! When Luke first told us that, I thought I heard wrong but I rally did the pictures in a week and got more pictures that expected. Thank you Bear Beau. You guys are amazing!
