Wedding DJ
Charles was the BEST person to work with. He edited a song for me for my dance with my dad because I needed it to be slowed down, he met with us beforehand a couple of times to make sure that he understood what we wanted, and was very responsive when we had questions. On the day of, he exceeded our expectations by being personable with our crowd and helping us to keep the dance floor packed! His transitions between songs were smooth and it felt like we were at a club. IT WAS AMAZING! I cannot emphasize enough how much we valued having Charles at our wedding. He was reasonably priced and he even impressed the venue owners to the point where they commented on wanting him on their recommended vendors list. We highly highly recommend Charles Beam especially above any other DJ company that sends a random guy out. -

Beam Entertainment Was Awesome!!
We had a great experience with Charles from Beam Entertainment. From the beginning, he was super professional, responsive, and was great at offering advice and listening to what we had envisioned for our wedding. With his set up, he was able to accommodate our outdoor ceremony, our indoor/outdoor cocktail hour, and our outdoor first dances. He was able to transfer the music wherever we needed which was exactly what we were hoping for. Also, during the dance, he played the right music to keep the guests out on the dance floor from start to finish. He played some awesome remixes and almost every song we included on our request list. We would certainly recommend any couple to book Charles as their wedding entertainment! -

Chucks prices are extremely reasonable and his music quality was the best we’ve seen at a wedding. Absolutely loved this DJ! -

Absolutely amazing!
Charles was absolutely amazing! He answered all of our questions during the planning process, paying attention to every detail. On our wedding day, he made sure to check in with us frequently and kept the dance floor packed all night long. We had so many positive comments on the music throughout the night and couldn’t have asked for a better experience—highly recommend! -

Amazing!!!
Charles was beyond amazing at our wedding this past weekend! The entire day was perfect, in part because of the music, announcements to guests, and clear communication from Charles. Better yet, our dance floor was full from start to finish and even after an encore song, our guests wanted to keep dancing! It was the dance floor of our dreams! I would absolutely recommend Charles/Beam entertainment to anyone in need of a top-notch, very talented DJ! -

Amazing wedding dj
Charles did an amazing job as our wedding day DJ. He went above and beyond to help find solutions for our ceremony music and sound when we ran into difficulty on the day and even did so IN THE RAIN. We felt so lucky to have someone willing to go above and beyond for our special day. He helped with timing and announcements throughout the entire day, including dinner, and gave great introductions for our grand entrance and speeches. Not only that, but he willingly complied to all our the songs on our request list and helped to make the dance an absolute blast. I will be highly recommending Beam Entertainment to all of my friends needing a DJ for their wedding or other events! -

Best in the Business!!
We just got married on 12/28/2024 and we couldn't have asked for a better DJ! In preparing for our wedding Charles was outstanding with communication and answering any questions we had. He executed on all of our requests for our big day and made sure to check in if needed. He was also fantastic in coordinating with the rest of the event staff. We provided him specific songs for the ceremony music and he was able to modify them to fit our needs. We also provided a reception song list and he matched the vibe all night based on what we provided. The dance floor was rocking all night! A true expert in the industry. If you are looking for a worry-free entertainment for your wedding or any other event, Charles with Beam Entertainment is the guy!! -

You read that right - 100/10! Charles was great to work with and provided his expertise to help us have the best celebration. He was extremely easy to work with and kept the party going with a great song selection and amped up energy! He brought out these glow foam sticks, which was a great hit with the kids (and myself, too)! I had set songs and time stamps for the procession, recession, grand march, first dance, father/daughter, and son/mother songs and Charles made it happen! If you are looking for a fantastic DJ, great communicator, and overall fun guy, Charles Beam with Beam Entertainment is the way to go! -

What an amazing experience we had with Charles Beam Entertainment! He was very professional from the first call explaining everything we needed to know. In addition to providing superb equipment for the reception area he was also able to setup equipment it for the ceremony which was awesome, great sound. He also had amazing up lighting that added to the reception area. I provided him with all the songs and information and I did not have to worry about a thing, he absolutely had everything taken care from all the songs and announcements. He also did such an amazing job with getting the guests excited. I would 100% recommend Charles for your wedding. I think a good DJ can make or break your wedding, Charles will make great, and one less thing for you to worry about which is exactly what you need on your big day. Thank you, Charles! -

The best DJ!!
We loved our experience with Beam Entertainment. The quality of the music was excellent, he was very responsive through email and made sure to have backups for songs that he didn't have. He was great when it came time for dancing and helped keep the dance floor alive. He played the songs our guests and we requested and was great to work with. Not to mention his price is unbeatable compared to others. If you're looking for a professional DJ, he's your guy!! -

Lord of Ring themed Wedding
Charles did an amazing job for my themed lord of the rings wedding!
He had all music organized and was a breeze to work with.
His communication was great, he went with the flow when plans had to change, and he did a great job setting up his equipment in many different locations throughout the night.
He made the guest feel welcome and he played the best music.
I would highly recommend him for any event!

Beam Entertainment is AMAZING
Charles was great from the beginning.
A fellow friend was getting married and referred us to Beam Entertainment, upon reaching out about availability we were lucky enough to be his last available opening for 2023. He held our date until we were able to make a deposit.
Charles was great with communication, presentation and going with the flow.
My now husband and I are very laid back and just want to have fun, but like to stay organized which Charles fit in just fine with that!
He helped us create a perfect day and we couldn’t thank him and Beam Entertainment more.
We highly recommend Charles for any of your entertainment needs! -

Charles did an amazing job DJing for our wedding. All night he was very responsive to song request by both my husband and myself as well as our guest. He read the room very well. Chuck did an OUTSTANDING job providing music for my ceremony & he flawlessly executed my reception music and first dances! Chuck went above and beyond by surprising my husband & I with Cold Spark special affects that BLEW US AWAY during our first dance!! From set up to tear down Chuck was amazing and easy to work with. He has got it all!
Charles worked at both my sister's wedding in 2020 and my wedding just a few days ago in 2023. He is very responsive and collaborative. The mics worked great and everyone could hear clearly. The music had everyone on the dance floor until the end of the reception! Charles has SO much knowledge about his industry. Definitely recommend! -

Very Professional
Less than two weeks before our wedding we had to find a replacement DJ as we were having difficulty getting ahold of our previously book DJ. We found two DJs in the area that were available and Beam Entertainment was a very affordable option. Charles was responsive and answered all of our questions. He was very professional and helped ease the anxiety of booking a new vendor. Day of, everything was lovely. The ceremony sound was amazing and we felt confident that everyone could hear it well. He made sure to play all of our requested songs and got all of the songs for the ceremony and reception correct, while also incorporating requests of our guests. The dance floor was hopping all night! We only wish would would have booked him from the beginning! -

An Incredible DJ
Charles was awesome! We can't say enough good things about him. He was incredibly easy to work with and very accommodating throughout the whole process. Even taking on last minute requests without any hesitation such as coming up with a way to announce our bridal party into dinner. He made sure to accommodate to all the guests by playing different genres of music that everyone loved. Charles seemed to pick up very quickly on what music was most favorable to keep people on the dance floor and having fun. Charles is a fantastic DJ and I would recommend him over and over again to everyone I know! -

If you need a DJ, look no further!!!
Charles did an incredible job at our wedding!!! Our ceremony was outdoors and there was no power at the ceremony site. Charles helped us determine what kind of generator we needed in order to get sound at the ceremony site. Someone in our wedding party FORGOT that generator and because of this Charles very expensive speaker was destroyed. We were mortified, but Charles handled the situation with grace even though it was a huge loss for him. I cannot say enough good things about him! Professional, fun, organized… the whole package! I highly recommend Beam Entertainment! -

Best Wedding DJ EVER
Charles was such a fun DJ for our wedding and he really knew how to keep the party going! He was also very helpful with figuring out timelines and the order of events since I had never been to a wedding before. He made our wedding so special and high energy and he knew exactly what music to play while also keeping all of our "must play" songs and artists in mind. Everyone who we talked to after the wedding kept saying this was the best wedding DJ they had ever experienced! I would reccomend Charles Beam for all events! -

Charles was THE BEST DJ for our wedding. From the first time we met him, he was professional, easy to work, and so personable! He made the planning process stress-free & helped us plan our reception just like we wanted! Our wedding was a day we’ll never forget– and Charles is a huge reason why! His song choices were spot-on… they kept people dancing all night long! He played music to please all age groups, accommodated song requests, and interacted with our guests the whole night!
Charles made the night flow so seamlessly & helped keep the flow and structure of the reception as planned- all while making sure we were having a great time! I am so thankful Charles was there to guide us through the reception & make the night stress-free!

Great Wedding DJ
Awesome work! Charles was easy to contact, responded quickly, and was very organized during our planning process. He is kind, knowledgeable, and helpful in making these important decisions regarding your special day! His equipment is gorgeous and he has a great setup. During our reception, he played music that pleased all age groups (we had lots of compliments from guests of all ages) and played pretty much every song we requested both before and during the reception. Great DJ! Throughout the wedding planning process Charles was always quick to respond to all emails. Very easy to work with overall and that was really nice, especially when you have a ton of other wedding planning to worry about as well. I also know two other people who also had Beam Entertainment for their wedding and were very happy with both the personal and professional aspects leading all the way up to the event, and the event itself. Highly recommend Beam Entertainment. -

Great DJ, highly recommend!
After being recommended by a friend, we put our trust in Charles to DJ our wedding this fall and couldn't be happier with our decision. He took the time prior to our wedding day to review a questionnaire to understand our audience, take our suggestions and requests, and handled our last minute changes like a pro. The dance floor was full all night and our guests had an amazing time. He arrived early to set up all of his equipment, worked extremely well with our other vendors and took the stress of making sure the night went according to plan off our plate. We can't recommend Charles enough! -

Hands down, Charles is one of the best, hard working, easy going people you will meet. He went above and beyond asking myself or the groom questions as to how we wanted our day to go.
He not only killed the music portion of the evening, but he was a huge help in keeping the buffet line going, introductions, and making sure the night went smoothly. The dance floor was never empty and that was a huge priority for our wedding. I promise you won’t regret Charles! Well deserved 5 start rating! THANK YOU! -

Amazing is an understatement, Beam Entertainment went above and beyond for our wedding! The entire time leading up to the wedding he was right there for every question, he responded back very timely, and he was professional yet personal! The day of the wedding he was right there for anything we needed, he kept the crowd going, and he was such a blast! The perfect DJ for our wedding.

This is your dj
I originally had just wanted one of our friends with a laptop to “dj” our wedding, but we couldn’t think of any one of our friends that we could trust to do the job. So we turned to a stranger 😂 We could not have made a better decision, by the end of the night, Charles did not feel like a stranger, but rather a trusted friend. He kept us on track, updated us on what he needed and rolled with us making changes through the night. At the end of the night, when the last guests were leaving, he was playing really cute songs and I dragged my husband to the dance floor, just the two of us, slow dancing until midnight. It was one of my favorite parts of our whole day and I will cherish that memory forever 🤍🖤 thank you so much Charles!! -

Best DJ ever!
Are you getting married, or have a bar mitzvah, sweet 16, a birthday party or any other occasion where you might want people to dance and have AN AMAZING TIME? Well, Charles is your guy. We made the decision to hire Charles for our wedding within minutes of talking to him for the first time. What sold Charles and his services to us was his attitude and personality. We had a fusion wedding that mixed Punjabi culture with Catholic traditions in the middle of nowhere WI. Charles saw this as an opportunity and came prepared with music that represented both our cultures and I could not have asked for more. He went above and beyond to make sure that our ceremony and reception went without a hitch (and that included him having to set up twice). It was very easy to work with him to create custom mixes that we used to make our entry for our ceremony.
Charles knows how to read a room and keep people entertained. He felt less like a vendor but more like a friend who made our special day even more special with his DJ skills and his personality. So if you are looking for someone who is not just someone playing songs off a playlist, but is a real DJ who knows what they are doing, values quality, and is committed to his art, then Charles is the person you need to hire. -

great wedding DJ!!
Charles was great to work with for our wedding DJ! He was very professional & took the time to get to know us as a couple and the expected crowd of people we'd have! He was great at playing what we wanted, but also knowing what songs/genres to play to cater to the guests that were on the dance floor and also those that maybe weren't dancing to get them up and moving! Having Charles as our DJ took the stress of the "dance" part of the reception off of us as a couple! Thanks Charles!! -

Simply the BEST!
Let's face it, after the ceremony and the dress, the entertainment at a wedding is what your guests are left with when they walk away at the end of the night. I am so THANKFUL to have secured Charles for my Son's wedding! Charles was extremely professional, knowledgeable, worked with the photographer to coordinate pictures, played PERFECT dinner music, and then allowed our guests to dance the night away in style! Charming and charismatic, he blended right in with our guests, so they were more than comfortable to make requests. He did the traditional reception dances that my son and his new wife wanted, and guided us to make sure we provided the best guest experiences and amazing memories! My youngest son is engaged and once they select a date, you can bet I will call Charles FIRST to check his availability. Charlie is so great and wonderful to work with! He is so good at his job! He arrives early to make sure he has everything set up and ready to go. He makes sure his client is happy with the set up and well taken care of. He has great equipment and his set up looks very nice. He always makes sure to play any and all requests and does such a great job at keeping everyone dancing the night away. Amazing DJ!
Charles was amazing to work with and he went above and beyond! When some details for my wedding began to go downhill Charles was able to recommend other vendors. He gave great suggestions for many of the traditional dances. He communicated really well so I knew what to expect and so that he knew exactly what I wanted. During the wedding he made sure to ask if there was anything I needed. He was flexible when the old building which was our venue made things difficult for his equipment. The best part was that he did everything he could to keep my guests on the dance floor. He played music for every age group that attended my wedding while making sure that my husband and I's suggestions came first. I would highly recommend Beam Entertainment to anyone! Charles was awesome and so great to work with! He gave great suggestions the day of my wedding to make everything go a little more smoothly and also made sure that everything was done the way that I wanted it. Charles also made sure to communicate with the videographer and photographer to make sure everyone was on the same page about when things were happening so they didn’t miss those moments (grand entrance, garter toss, etc.) When it came to the reception he did a fantastic job of keeping people on the dance floor and playing a variety of music as well as playing all the guests’ song requests. I would highly recommend Beam Entertainment to any friends and family. Charles did a phenomenal job and I don’t think my day would have been as great without him! -

Charles did an outstanding job for my ceremony and wedding reception. He was a pleasure to work with, always open to ideas and song choices we chose (even when we sent some requests in the week of the wedding!) He kept the dance floor full all night and played a great variety of music.

Don’t look any further for your DJ!
Charles Beam of Beam Entertainment made my wedding day AMAZING! He had a great professionalism for the whole evening and my guests loved him! He could take requests but also respected my wishes on requests. He is very easy going and just wants to make your day very special! He will meet with you before the wedding to make sure all the details you need are not forgotten. His sound system was great and is filled up the room perfectly without the sound being distorted and the lights that were put around the room created an awesome atmosphere. Another thing that I liked with Beam Entertainment was the fact that he was there for the full day. I didn’t have to figure out a price for 4-6 hours, and then any additional after that or adding extras on for lights or ceremony/cocktail hour/dinner music. Everything was included in the price and it was very reasonable from the other quotes that I got. Looking back on it now, he was absolutely without a doubt, worth every single penny! -

Chuck was so amazing!!!! I couldn’t be happier with how the music and dance floor turned out. If you are wondering about booking him or not, just do it and don’t look back!! I had many requests and he was always sweet and completely accommodating to all of them. I have never attended a wedding where the dance floor was entirely full all night long, except for my own when chuck was the DJ. Chuck did an absolutely outstanding job! All of my guests told me, your DJ is so great! We love his calm attitude and he never made me feel bad about giving him a request!! Again, book him and don’t look back. He is well worth it!!!! -

We were very happy with our DJ service! Charles is top notch and did a great job with our wedding. We received many complements from our guests. Charles uses BOSE surround sound which means no one is blasted with the loud speaker. I could tell a difference in quality after attending 5 other weddings this summer. Overall Charles listened to what we wanted in a wedding DJ. He was very professional and did a great job. If we had to redo the day again we would choose Charles Beam to be our wedding DJ in a heartbeat. -

Charles was entirely accommodating, professional, fun, and easy to work with. We had ceremony flowing right into reception in the same room, so we were able to have Beam Entertainment setup and handle it all. Our ceremony went perfectly. We wanted an oldies cocktail hour which he happily accommodated and rocked! The extra setup with room uplighting and his DJ area looked fantastic with our decor and took it to another level. I couldn't get off the dance floor to cool down... I couldn't miss a beat!! In fact, from the time our ceremony finished; kids, family, friends were dancing... even before dinner! I couldn't have been more pleased! -

Charles of Beam Entertainment should be recognized as a leading professional in the world of DJ and entertainment. We hired him for our October 2017 wedding. He took the time to understand exactly what we wanted as a couple and never once tried to sell us anything more or less. Additionally, he worked to make contact with and meet our other vendors so they could all be on the same page the day of our wedding. I don’t doubt there were questions behind the scenes that they worked through together! To us, it was flawless.

Charles was so awesome to work with!!! We met him through a referral and we do not regret bringing him on for our big day. Our initial conversations were so easy and fun and I absolutely trusted him. He does what he says he’s going to do and will be the least of your concerns leading up to the wedding. On the big day he arrived on time and got right to work. He did the audio for our ceremony, which was perfect, dinner, and the reception of course. I didn’t need to check on anything because he truly just goes to work and delivers perfection. I loved having him around on our big day because he loves what he’s doing, he made everything so much fun! The reception music was exactly what I wanted and more. He played exactly the type of music we liked, he “got” us, and all of our guests rave and rave about how much fun they had. Loved how easy he is to work with, how kind and professional he is, and how dang good he is at his job! You have to book Charles, he is WAY above and beyond a “wedding DJ”. I wish I could bring him to all of my celebrations! -

Charles exudes professionalism. From the very first time he started speaking at our reception, our guests knew exactly what was going on. He did not rush me and my husband and was extremely flexible and understanding of our needs. He kept the dancefloor full all night and was a joy to work with. We could not have asked for a better DJ for our wedding reception! Charles was so polite and attentive during the entire event. Our dance floor opened up at 8:30pm and it was PACKED the entire time until the event shut down at midnight. He played appropriate/classic songs towards the beginning of the night and started to slowly tailor the music to the crowd that was left at the end of the night. All of our friends and family had such a great time dancing. Charles even went above and beyond with his regular responsibilities and helped out wherever he was needed that night. We will always recommend Charles for anyone who asks about a DJ. You will not be disappointed!

He was very responsive to any emails with questions we had throughout the planning process and was very helpful in picking a version of the song I wanted to use to walk down the aisle. Our bridal party introductions for the reception were done perfectly and the music chose for during dinner was great. The best part was how he always kept people on the dance floor throughout the whole night! We had so many guests compliment on how great the music was and how their requests for music were always played. We will definitely be recommending him to our friends/anyone we know getting married in the future! -

It was great working with Charles Beam for our recent wedding. He was always professional and accommodating of everything we wanted. When we had some technical issues with the sound system being used for our slideshow, he set it up with his system so that all of our 350 guests could hear it. He also worked with our bridal party for some special sound effects they used in their speeches. He also has uplighting that really added to the atmosphere of our venue. I would highly recommend Beam Entertainment! -

We had Charles do our wedding earlier this month (July) and we couldn't be more happy with everything! He is the prime example of a professional in every aspect. As our timeline changed throughout the night Charles made sure to adjust accordingly so we didn't have to worry about a thing. We still have guests talking about our wedding and how much fun they had. The dance floor was full the entire night. We honestly can't say enough about the job Charles did and would most definitely recommend him for any event you are planning. Next time we are in need of a DJ there is no question who we will call. Charles and Beam Entertainment did an amazing job at our wedding reception! There are not words to describe his amazing work. Charles was enthusiastic and added the perfect dynamic to our wedding that made it a memorable experience for us along with all of our guests. We have received so many compliments on our wedding reception and the music he played to keep our guests on the dance floor. He played music for all ages from the classics to the latest hits and even the music for the surprise flash mob at our wedding.
Charles arrived early to have his equipment set up and was ready to start the dance as soon as we finished eating. Wow...Charles did an AMAZING job! From the very beginning he was very informative and prompt in responding to my questions and ideas. Charles did our ceremony and reception. As I was getting my dress on I had a bridesmaid run over to him and just make sure everything was lined up and ready to go. She came back and just said "Yeah, he's definitely got this". And he did...everything went as smooth as I could have hoped for.
I think it's also important to throw out there that he has just a ton of a variety of music! Our wedding went from classical, to big band, then along with the slow dances there was the country and hip hop sprinkled in there. He knew when it was time to switch it up and that's how he kept many people dancing all the way to the end.
Both mine and my husband's family were raving about him. He would take requests (and actually play them), was super easy to talk to, and was funny and energetic! Come to find out, people in the cabins across the lake were telling the resort staff how great the music sounded!
You won't be disappointed with this guy. He's very reasonably priced too. Thanks Charles! I know where I'm sending anyone asking about a DJ! -

Charles was the perfect musical compliment for our wedding. He was a great communicator and open to any requests made by us and our guests. He had people out on the dance floor all night which was huge for us because as the bride and groom we aren't huge dancers, so it was important that our guests have a fun night on the dance floor even if we weren't out there to encourage them. He played age appropriate music for our Grandparents to dance to and we were given many compliments by our guests as to how nice and accommodating he was. This last year I was at weddings where the dance floor was completely empty all night with the exception of the dollar dance and a few other songs. So I was seriously worried that I would have to pull people from their tables and chairs on to the dance floor. However, that was not the case at all. Charles played such an array of music that everyone enjoyed that our dance floor was PACKED all night long! There were times where my husband and I could barely find a spot to dance. Now that is a phenomenal problem to have!!! There was even still a huge group of people on the dance floor when they turned off the lights that night!
Almost a month after our wedding and we are still having friends and family say how much they enjoyed our special night and how much fun they had dancing! They also say how perfect it was having him play music as guests arrived at the ceremony and as we all walked down the aisle and the music during dinner. These perfect little details that Charles had preformed so perfectly is exactly why we hired him, it was surly our extra WOW factor of the day!!
I have and I will continue to tell anyone and everyone about how absolutely extraordinary of a DJ Charles Beam is!!!! -

Charles really did an amazing job for our wedding. I don't think we could've asked for a better DJ and we've had numerous guests tell us how much they enjoyed the music. We had a good mix of younger and older guests, and Charles really knew how to weave between the different decades of music so that everyone present had ample time on the dance floor. We also had a slightly non-traditional wedding and Charles was able to adapt without a hitch. He handled our ceremony music as well which worked out great. He even stayed later than expected due to the guest shuttles running a little behind schedule. Overall, Charles was great to work with and very professional. And last but certainly not least, his rates were very affordable. I highly recommend Charles to anyone needing a DJ in the area. Thanks so much for making our wedding day amazing! -
