  Beacon Street Band Nailed It

  Steve, Emily and the rest of the Beacon Street Band played at our wedding this past September and truly brought the house (tent) down! They catered to our musical requests and threw in some of their own ideas that got our crowd dancing hard. We got so many compliments from, not only our guests, but other vendors working at our wedding. My wife and I would truly recommend The Beacon Street Band if you are looking for memorable, high-energy musical entertainment. They play it all from oldies and Motown to nostalgic 90's and present day hits. Thank you Beacon Street Band for making it a memorable party.

  Hire them for an incredible dance party!

  The Beacon Street Band made our wedding the party of the decade!!! Everybody was on the dance floor. They have such incredible energy and Steve did an amazing job emceeing our reception as well. I highly recommend hiring them for your event!

  Steve MacDonald is Amazing!

  The Beacon Street Band were so flexible and wonderful to work with for my wedding. We had a smaller wedding, and they were able to work with us to have only a duo (guitar and keyboard) paly at our wedding and they KILLED it! They were so fabulous and we got TONS of compliments. Steve MacDonald was a joy to work with and can't recommend enough.

  The Beacon Street Band were so flexible and wonderful to work with for my wedding.   Made our special day perfect!

  I couldn’t recommend Beacon St Band enough! We booked them during Covid so couldn’t see them live and went off of the videos on their website. We are so glad we found them. They helped the night run smoothly, starting with playing the perfect songs beginning with jazz at cocktail hour, MC’ing the whole night, all the way to playing two encore songs at the request of the wedding parties “one last song” chants. They had everyone on the dance floor and having a great time. They were receptive to our requests, continued to check up to see if we had any further requests, and made our night feel so special. They were great and easy to work with-highly recommend!!

  We're still talking about how good the music was!

  Don't hesitate for another minute about whether to hire Beacon Street for your wedding or event. The music was the most fun part of our wedding reception. We went with the 6 member package and are so happy that we did! The combination of instruments really added a depth to the music and got everyone dancing. The band played a wide variety of genres and even took a request! We received so many comments and notes after the wedding complimenting the band and we couldn't agree more. Steve and Emily were so easy to work with and very accommodating. Thank you!

  Best night of our lives! So much energy!

  We couldn't be happier with our decision to hire the Beacon Street Band to play at our wedding on 8/17. We had a 3 piece play at our cocktail hour and their whole 9 piece played for our reception. From the very first song, you could feel the energy in the room. It was upbeat, nonstop fun for young and old guests; all of whom are still talking about how awesome the Beacon Street Band was. We never left the dance floor! They were so accommodative with our requests and put everything into ensuring we had the best night of our lives. 10/10 recommend!!

  Beautiful Celtic Music

  Beacon Street Band has so much to offer. Our son’s wedding was held in a landmark building. Amplified music was not permitted. The bride and groom decided on Celtic music. Beacon Street said no problem. They sent just two members from the band who play Celtic music. They worked closely with the building management. The musicians arrived 9 hours early in order to catch the last ferry coming to Martha’s Vineyard during a major storm. The performance at the ceremony and then reception was lovely. Beacon Street was an important ingredient added to a wonderful evening.

  5 Stars! Great Band

  Beacon Street Band performed at my wedding and absolutely rocked! From the ceremony, to the cocktail hour, to the reception, the band was super impressive and professional all night. They really know how to bring the party and control the room. My wife and I can not recommend BSB enough. Would hire again 10/10.

  Best Band Around!

  We had In Session, now Beacon Street Band, play at our wedding and they were AMAZING. They set the mood by doing an acoustic set during our cocktail hour and then transitioned seemlessly for the dancing portion of the evening. Their sound and talent had everyone on the floor, from my 86 year old grandma to our 3 year old flower girl. The horn section added allot of depth and the vocalists were out of this world. Would hire them again as they were responsive and easy to work with willing to incorporate our wants and needs.

  White Mountain Wedding

  We got in touch with the band after getting engaged in 2020. They worked with us and saved the date 2 years out. When the day came, they traveled all the way to the White Mountains of NH and had the entire room on the dance floor. They played an instrumental set for the ceremony with acoustic guitar and stand up bass, a silky jazz duo for the cocktail hour and the five piece band was ready to rock n' roll the rest of the night.

  We got in touch with the band after getting engaged in 2020. They worked with us and saved the date 2 years out. When the day came, they traveled all the way to the White Mountains of NH and had the entire room on the dance floor. They played an instrumental set for the ceremony with acoustic guitar and stand up bass, a silky jazz duo for the cocktail hour and the five piece band was ready to rock n' roll the rest of the night.

He was clear in asking our expectations, schedule of events, and making sure we understood his crew’s capabilities (which was amazing). The whole band set up without a fuss, got everyone dancing (including the 94 year old with a walker), and kept the bride and I on the floor all evening! Payment was known months beforehand without any day-of surprises, and seamless. We were, and will remain thankful for Steven and the Beacon Street Band for creating a perfect and memorable soundtrack for our entire day.

They even let my wife's uncle come up and play harmonica with them for a song and it sounded like they'd been playing together for years. Communication can be a little relaxed at times, but if you stay on top of the details and confirm everything beforehand, you'll have the night of your life with these guys.   St. Patrick's Day Event

  We hired Beacon Street Band for a corporate St. Patrick's Day Event for our tenants and they were the perfect addition to our event! The song selection was great and everyone really enjoyed the entertainment. Working with the band and manager was a great experience. They were very professional, responsive, and friendly. I highly recommend using Beacon Street for any event, especially if you're looking for a traditional Irish twist!
