When we first started planning our destination wedding, we assumed we would need a traditional wedding planner to help us navigate the process. Then my husband came across Beach Bridal Vacations on social media and noticed that they created personalized wedding websites for their couples. After our initial consultation with Saundra, we quickly realized she offered so much more than travel planning.
Saundra helped us narrow down resort options, compare venues, get answers to countless questions, and ultimately choose the perfect location for our wedding. She guided us through every step of the process, from researching resorts and reviewing contracts to securing a room block that worked for both us and our guests.
One thing we learned through this experience is that, for our particular wedding, we did not need a separate independent wedding planner. Saundra expertly handled the travel, resort selection, guest accommodations, and overall logistics, while the resort’s wedding planner managed the wedding-specific details and coordination. We met regularly with the resort planner throughout the planning process leading up to the wedding day, and I worked directly with my wedding party on personal details and preferences. Together, this support system provided everything we needed and made the planning process far more manageable than we initially expected.
From our very first meeting, Saundra was warm, professional, transparent, and incredibly knowledgeable. She never set unrealistic expectations and took the time to explain not only her process, but also how destination wedding resorts operate. We always felt informed and supported. No question was ever too small, and if she didn’t have an immediate answer, she worked diligently to get one.
One of the biggest challenges we encountered involved pricing. Shortly after we signed our contract, the resort launched a major sale that created a significant difference between our contracted room block rates and publicly available pricing. Rather than simply accepting the situation, Saundra advocated for us and worked persistently with the resort to renegotiate pricing. Her willingness to go to bat for her clients is something we genuinely appreciated.
Just as importantly, she took exceptional care of our guests. Throughout the planning process, she was responsive, patient, and kind with every question that came her way. The feedback we received from friends and family was consistently positive, and knowing they had someone they could rely on gave us tremendous peace of mind.
What truly sets Saundra apart is the level of care she brings to her work. She remained available to assist not only before travel, but during and beyond check-in when needed. At every stage, it was clear that she was invested in helping us create the best possible experience for everyone involved.
Patience, kindness, communication, efficiency, and genuine care are the words that best describe Saundra and her approach. Planning a destination wedding comes with countless decisions and moving parts, but having someone knowledgeable, responsive, and committed to your success makes all the difference.
Perhaps the most surprising part is that all of these services are provided at no cost to the couple. The value Saundra brought to our wedding journey was truly priceless. We wholeheartedly recommend Beach Bridal Vacations to any couple planning a destination wedding and looking for someone who will not only guide them through the process, but genuinely advocate for them every step of the way. -

My boyfriend and I embarked on a trip to the Dominican Republic for a friend’s wedding. They had chosen Beach Bridal Vacations as their travel agency. Our agent, Saundra Peterson, was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. Whenever we had any questions or concerns, she promptly responded. Additionally, she sent out email reminders to ensure that we adhered to all deadlines. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed using their services and will definitely be using them again in the near future. -

Beach Bridal Vacations was nothing but helpful through our entire process of booking our accommodations and assuring that we had everything covered. Saundra, our Travel Advisor, guided us through everything with great communication and was accessible to answer all of our questions. Our experience with her was simply great and we highly recommend her! My husband and I were very happy to hear that she deals with many other places as well. We will be using her services again soon! We can’t wait!

Amazing destination wedding for 70 people!
Saundra handled everything seamlessly for our 70 guests. From transportation, contracts, resort info, room blocks, etc. we couldn’t be happier we decided to go with her. She was amazing at helping our guests and because of her it was such an amazing and smooth wedding. If you’re thinking about using BeachBridal Vacations - do it! -
