Kept Me Sane

Debra and her team are fantastic! Menu options offer a wide variety for different preferences and they are very accommodating to food sensitivities. Chef Nick definitely knows what he is doing in the kitchen too. Debra was extremely responsive and offered solutions to each hurdle along the wedding planning process. She offered her professional opinion and guidance even for non catering questions. I would recommend this team to anyone who asks for a catering company. I hope to host events in the future that I can work with Be My Guest again.

Be My Guest Catering was absolutely phenomenal for our brunch wedding! They were one of our venue’s preferred vendors, and now I completely understand why. From the planning process to the day of our wedding, everything was seamless and stress-free. Their team was professional, attentive, and a pleasure to work with.

The food was incredible. The chicken and waffles and the French toast were to die for! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Our guests are still talking about how amazing the brunch was and continue to compliment us on the food months later.

If you’re looking for a caterer that delivers exceptional food, outstanding service, and an effortless planning experience, I can’t recommend Be My Guest Catering enough. They truly helped make our wedding day unforgettable!

We could not be more grateful that BMG catered our wedding. Sandy was incredible with communication from beginning to end. She was very organized, which helped keep us organized lol, and answered any questions we had. The tasting was LOVELY and made us even more excited for the day of.

Leading up to the event, we also decided to utilize their Day Of planner option. Debra was SO amazing. We met with her a couple times before the wedding and that’s all we needed. She was incredibly gracious during the reception and always made her we had what we wanted. She kept the flow of the night running smoothly and was just wonderful to work with.

Everyone at BMG made our wedding day so special!

Fantastic Food & Service

Huge thank you to Deb and the BMG staff. From our first tasting, the communication and coordination with everyone at Be My Guest was amazing. Deb really made planning our menu and rental needs so easy - she knew exactly what to ask and what details were needed - which shows how experienced she is in the field. The food was FANTASTIC. Weddings have the reputation of not having good food, but all of our guests raved about how good their meal was. When it comes to service, they are top notch. Servers coordinated to bring food out quickly, bartenders were friendly, and Deb always made sure my drink was full. If you need a caterer for your wedding (or any event), Be My Guest is the way to go

The Perfect Day

From start to end, the process of working alongside Be My Guest was seamless and easy. We did not have any worry that the caterer would show up and execute the plan. Firstly, it is so important for communication to be clear and prompt between a customer and vendor for weddings, and this company went above and beyond to ensure they had all the information, venue details, and opinions needed to move forward in each part of the process. They were very up-front and detailed with all the options available from the very beginning, and the different offerings for the menu are clear and organized. This made initially picking food options very easy. Also, pricing is extremely fair, and they worked alongside you as a customer with a budget, rather than trying to upsell you on more expensive options.

As far as planning is involved, the vendor was very detailed in doing a slow walkthrough around the venue, explaining the timing of dinner, where all the tables and placements of bar/food will be located. This was so beneficial to us as novice wedding/party planners.

The food itself, arguably what you care to know about most, is absolutely delicious. The dishes are elevated, but not to the point of not tasting good anymore. We were able to do a food tasting of all our initial picks for dishes, and it was almost more difficult to narrow it down after tasting everything because the food was all that good. If I were to host another large event of any kind, this catering company would be the first ones I call. All I can say is please book them, they are lovely!

Sandy and her team made the entire catering process easy and delicious from our tasting to the last piece of dessert and executed to the highest degree on our wedding day. We had a vision for what we wanted and when no one else could deliver or would cost a ton, they made our wishes seem simple and not crazy. The food was great, decorated beautifully, reasonably priced, and excellent service. They went above and beyond and never once did we doubt they would deliver. Thank you Sandy and Team for a truly incredible day!

I am so happy we chose Be My Guest for our wedding. Debra has amazing organizational skills and everything was planned perfectly! She kept detailed notes and made sure all went smoothly. The food was amazing and I’m still getting compliments. It tasted just as good on our wedding day as it did at the tasting! The service at the wedding was second to none. Wonderful Wedding with BMG

Choosing Be My Guest as our caterer was one of the first decisions we made for our wedding, and one of the best! They were so organized and responsive, and helped us with everything from choosing apps/entrees to renting table linens and china. Sandy and her team are clearly very experienced, and their professionalism made us feel confident that our wedding was in good hands. Also, their food was delicious! Incredible from beginning planning to post wedding

Sandy & her team were so professional & helpful from start to finish. They grasped that we wanted our guests well taken care of with bar service & delicious food served efficiently so we could then proceed to the dance party celebration we all wanted! Chef Nick is so talented & our guests devoured the delicious rockfish & grilled flank steak! Many of our guests shared that they hadn’t eaten meat in years but the steak was so delicious they couldn’t resist! Quite impressive!!! Every suggestion of Sandy’s was spot on including the band recommendation! Everyone really took the time to make the vision we had into reality! Be My Guest is exceptional in every way! Whitmore Wedding June 2024

Be My Guest Catering was the perfect choice for our wedding. We were offered different menu options and styles, which was great. The bacon wrapped scallops, coconut shrimp, and bruschetta were fantastic for our summer wedding by the water! Also, the key lime pie tarts were a delicious touch for our desserts and the guests loved them. Sandy was amazing at helping to create the vision for our layout, ceremony, and reception. We could tell that she had many years of experience and I was able to consult with her multiple times throughout the planning process. She was a delight to work with and stepped in to assist when one of our vendors failed to show. We would highly recommend Be My Guest Catering.

Delicious Food & So Great to Work With

I cannot recommend Sandy and her team more. The experience of working with BMG from start to finish was so seamless. Her team really understood our vision and worked tirelessly on the details to execute, taking feedback and suggestions under their wing with a lot of grace. It felt like Sandy was so invested in the success of the event and it showed. Every detail was executed flawlessly and she is SO on top of planning. When the final weeks of wedding planning got insanely stressful, Sandy helped eliminate barriers and kept us at ease and confident things would go well on the day of the wedding.

Now on to the food - it was simply excellent. I had multiple compliments from guests that this was the best food at a wedding they've ever had. From the cocktails, to the passed appetizers to the entrees and cake. It was outstanding.

May 2024 Wedding

We used Be My Guest Catering for our wedding and they were amazing to work with! They were so responsive, friendly and accommodating to what we wanted. We were looking for a catering company who could make Ghanian food, and they were able to make that happen for us. Debra, the lead cater was AMAZING and helped the wedding day go so smoothly. Takes the Cake

Sandy and the BMG team helped hit our wedding out the park. They worked wonderfully with the rest of our vendor team. Most importantly, the food was AMAZING. We did all our favorites via stations and there was something for everyone, from tacos to tots. Even our vegan guest said “this is heaven.” The bartenders were fantastic. The whole team was incredible. We did several small cakes from BMG rather than a traditional tiered wedding cake and it was a hit. People actually ate the cake, which from my experience never happens, and we got so many compliments the next day asking for BMG’s name and saying it was the best cake they have ever had. The peanut butter and chocolate was to die for. You cannot go wrong with Sandy and her team!

The food was amazing!

Sandy was amazing to work with and her team delivered the best service during our wedding. Unfortunately, the weather was NOT in our favor leading up to the event due to a hurricane coming up the coast from the South. Sandy was able to work with us on last minute changes to have all activity inside our venue (we had planned on pictures outside before and after the ceremony). She even emailed on the morning of my wedding to say it was going to be beautiful no matter what and provided the best advice on if we should leave some of the tent open for views of the bay during our ceremony. Because of her advice, we took a risk and left one side of the tent open, which ended up being the best decision as the wind was coming from the other direction, and we were able to still have the view of the bay in the wind and the rain with little interruption in our ceremony (this will make for unforgettable pictures!). Her team was able to deal with a last minute change after the ceremony when we needed the deck for pictures. They were also able to accommodate all my guests with food sensitivities, allergies, and special diets, and the menu was amazing! I could go on, and if you couldn't tell, I highly recommend Be My Guest!

Wonderful to work with!

Be My Guest was very easy to work with. Guests loved the food choices(chicken and waffle appetizer a favorite) and Sandy helped us select a menu and presentation that fit our more casual style wedding. They coordinated with our alcohol distributer and helped set up and take down some decor for us as we did not have an official coordinator. Would hire them again! Gave great suggestions on other vendors as well.

Incredible food but more amazing service

When looking for a caterer, Be My Guest had all the main qualities we wanted when searching for a caterer. The food was great but the real reason we went with Be My Guest was due to their service and responsiveness. They were there every step of the way and made sure every second of our wedding was accounted for and covered.

The perfect day!

Sandy and her team are absolutely fabulous. I had all kinds of different menu ideas and Sandy was so patient, helping me work through all the concepts until we settled on the perfect menu. She was truly so supportive and caring throughout the planning process, working closely with my wedding planner and me to ensure that everything was perfect for my big day. On wedding day, the Be My Guest team was on top of everything and so organized - Sandy made sure I had a nice big plate waiting for me when I finally had a chance to have a seat :) Besides the incredible team, the food was fabulous and nearly everyone I spoke to at the wedding raved about their dinner. As a big foodie, it was so important to me to have delicious food and Be My Guest delivered! Delicious and Personal

Sandy and the whole team at Be My Guest (BMG) are outstanding. I cannot recommend them highly enough. The food was absolutely delicious from the pierogi bar during cocktail hour, crab cakes and filet mignon at dinner, and to-die-for chocolate and key lime tarts for dessert. Sandy even incorporated St. Louis favorites of toasted ravioli and gooey butter cake into our menu. The servers were so friendly and helpful throughout the evening, as (naturally) we had a few last minute guest changes that they helped resolve. Trying to plan a wedding reception from another state is difficult, and BMG helped bring it all together. BMG worked seamlessly with the Chesapeake Bay Foundation venue, Mills Liquor, Floral Expressions, and the rental company for an overall exceptional event. All my friends said it was one of the best parties they had ever attended!

Yummy food & very helpful staff!

All the food we tried during the tasting was so good, it was really hard to finalize our menu but Sandy & her staff were great at helping us stay w/in budget and still have delicious choices for our buffet dinner. Lots of our guests mentioned how much they enjoyed their meal.

Be My Guest Catered my daughter's wedding at the Annapolis Maritime Museum on 7/17/21. We couldn't have been happier with the quality and presentation of the food with lots of compliments from the 130 guests! Amazing!!!

If you're looking for a caterer, look no further---BMG is amazing!! I can't say enough good things about them. We were a covid delayed wedding and BMG was responsive and willing to work with us to reschedule. Fast forward to planning our wedding, Sandy went above and beyond by helping us not only to make catering and beverage decisions but also providing suggestions about other aspects of our event that we were trying to figure out (ceremony setup, where to have our afterparty etc etc). BMG was extremely thoughtful in so many ways I can't even remember them all----One that I do especially remember is their team seeking me out during the wedding reception to offer me coffee (I had mentioned how excited I was about it during planning). It was SUCH a wonderful gesture, with how busy the night was I'm not sure I would have gotten any otherwise!

Lastly, THE FOOD. We decided to get our wedding cake through BMG as well. Everything we tasted was absolutely delicious, I wish I could re-attend my wedding for many reasons, but one big one is to eat all of the food, cake, and drinks (a white sangria BMG concocted) again! I'm already talking to my husband about ways that we can get their catering services again!

The Entire Process Was Amazing

From the first call we had with Sandy, to our tasting, to many questions in between and the day of our wedding - Be My Guest Catering was great to work with! All the staff was extremely friendly, food was great, and there was never a long line at the bar because the bartenders worked so efficiently. Definitely recommend

Great Service & Delicious food!

I received a proposal very quickly and was able to customize the menu to fit both our palettes and budget. Sandy and her team was very good with communications over the months and provided a timeline for meeting deadlines, which was helpful. On the day of the wedding, I hired one of their staff to be my "day of wedding planner" since we did not have a wedding party who could assist throughout the day. Paula handled all of the "day of" details so that I could enjoy everything and the reception went off without a hitch. BMG also helped me to get the tables all set up with the tablecloths, centerpieces and place settings. I would hire them all over again without hesitation.

Absolutely Recommend

I don’t even know where to begin when describing my experience with BMG. I wasn’t your typical bride in the sense that I wasn’t super eager to plan my wedding. The thought of where to even begin was overwhelming. After choosing our venue, BMG was the next vendor we booked and I couldn’t be happier with our experience. For starters, Sandy is absolutely amazing. She is responsive, organized, creative, and flexible when helping you make any decision. She will do whatever it takes to make you happy! We also used their day of coordinator, Paula, who was essential in making sure our big day went off without a hitch. Aside from the great staff, the food is also amazing. Great people with delicious food!

COVID-19 Wedding Saviors!

My husband and I got married on September 25, 2020 and had hired Sandy and her team at Be My Guest Catering right before the onset of the pandemic in March. Sandy was patient and kind, and navigated the uncertainties and obstacles alongside us. Amazing Food & Even Better Service!

Sandy and her team were amazing to work with. Even though COVID drastically impacted our plans, BMG took all the stress out of re-planning and came up with creative solutions that allowed us to keep our original vision while adapting. Our guests all said that this was the best food they'd had at a wedding, and we were thrilled with the results from start to finish. Sandy and team not only delivered a fantastic spread, they also helped with planning, walk throughs, rentals, setup, coordinating with the venue, and took last minute details off my plate so that we could enjoy the day, stress free! Look no further!!! More than just GREAT food!

Okay, play along: You are getting married in less than one week. All your hard work, the painfully detailed planning has finally taken life. Everything is paid in full. It is time to relish is the joy. You and your person are about to celebrate the union of marriage. Sounds great right!!
Well yep, that was us! Literally days before our wedding just when we thought we could sit back and relax… came COIVD-19. March 16th 2020 we have to put all of our wedding plans on hold. Some vendors had to cancel and or postpone, some vendors were gracious enough to walk through our uncertainties with kindness and grace. Some vendors were our saving grace!
The reason I preface with our short story of a Covid-19 wedding is to highlight just how remarkable the people hired to support our big day are. It is times of crisis that you see the true content of character.
Sandy and her AMAZING team at Be My Guest (BMG) Catering really were a saving grace in a time of such need. I now know what Sandy is capable of; what BMG Catering is capable of. Sandy (Owner of BMG Catering) can make anything happen. I mean this woman was ready to support a complete re-plan of our wedding and make it happen for us in a global pandemic. I am talking changes coming at her from all directions. Her support was never wavered and I always respected that fact that she was honest and hard working.
We hired BMG Catering for the friendly staff and organized service; and of course the delicious food. Oh how good the food is! They went above and beyond and there support went beyond what they were paid for. It was clear that they put their heart into all they do. I couldn’t be happier with what BMG did for us.
So if you are looking for catering services, be it large or small event. You won’t regret choosing BMG Catering!

Be My Guest Catering was great! I am still getting compliments on all of the food from the reception. They were able to help walk us through the wedding planning process, coordinate rentals and the day-of timeline, communicate with the venue, and provide delicious food and excellent service! BMG was flexible, timely with their responses, and happy to provide advice during wedding planning. Not only was the food outstanding, the service was above and beyond! Covid weddings

Welcome to 2020 weddings! We were supposed to have the perfect wedding on April 25, and wound up with in August instead. BMG helped make the switched date (and COVID wedding craziness) seamless and stress free, to include making our wedding cake. Sandy had great ideas to keep both guests and staff safe, and helped manage shifting guest lists and state mandated changes. I look forward to working with them again in a post-COVID world.

Easy to work with, great food and professional!

I hired Be My Guest Catering for a 60th birthday party and was blown away! The food was amazing, the staff was incredible and Sandy was a joy to work with in planning the event. Her staff was also very professional and did a wonderful job handling all of our safety concerns with COVID and keeping everyone healthy. The staff was outfitted in PPE throughout the entire event, even though it was an outdoor event and was 90 degrees. Would recommend them for any event!

Coming from a couple who loves food, this was one of the most important decisions in our wedding planning journey - and boy did we make the right one! Sandy and her team were truly a pleasure to work with and they went above and beyond, exceeding our expectations. Do yourself a favor and have Be My Guest cater your wedding!

We had our June, 2019 wedding at Chesapeake Bay Foundation and chose BMG to cater the event. Sandy and the BMG team impressed us from the moment we contacted them with how quick they were to respond and answer all our questions. Throughout the entire planning process, the BMG team followed up on every detail, not just with the food but also coordinating the rental of linens and table settings, drawing up layouts of the tables based on our ever changing guest list, and setting up meetings at the venue to walk us through the details. As an out-of-town bride, knowing the BMG team would help me cover all the details so that the wedding would go smoothly reduced a lot of stress. Not to mention the food, which was delicious. The tasting offered many options to choose from, and we received many compliments from guests on how great our food was. We chose the stations option and had plenty of food to satisfy all guests. BMG also made our desserts and wedding cake, all of which I would recommend. The wedding food and bar service was excellent, the BMG team was very professional and friendly.

Sandy and Amy were amazing. What a great team to work with they went above and beyond just being a caterer for my wedding they helped plan out my timeline and set up everything. Wonderful caterer!

Sandy and her team at Be My Guest were completely wonderful in helping us for our wedding! We had a difficult menu- asking her to try a new dish with on-site frying- and she came through for us 100%. We also had a difficult weather situation on our day of and really took charge to make sure everything stayed on task. The food and drinks were all wonderful and we got compliments on everything. May 25 2019 Wedding!

Sandy and her team were beyond amazing! Sandy was such a great help coordinating rentals and answering any and all questions about our wedding. She even helped us to figure out numbers when we were buying our own alcohol. Apparently our signature drinks were quite the hit, and we ran low on vodka Sandy herself left and went to get more! The food was amazing! Definitely recommend for appetizers: crab cake, chicken and waffle, and steak bruschetta. Then we had flank steak and salmon for the entree, portions sizes were perfect and the potatoes were to die for! Overall great experience with Sandy and her team and I would definitely recommend them to someone else!

Daughters Wedding

Absolutely amazing is all I can say about Be My Guest, Sandy (owner) and her staff. We knew from the beginning that we wanted Be My Guest to cater the wedding. We were lucky enough to use a venue that Be My Guest could cater in. The planning process was so easy from menu creation, to taste testings, to linen rentals (etc), to final event. It was a stress free planning event from the beginning with the support of Sandy and team! Everything was just fantastic!

We also used their day of event coordinator, Amy, to help us as well as be our go between with the venue manager. Her attention to the detailed timeline kept the day running smoothly. Always a warm smile to greet you and just made the day even more special to have her around.

The staff was just awesome! They greeted everyone with a smile, were very attentive to all the guests needs and all in all just worked so hard to make the day even more special for the Bride and Groom and all the guests.

We would HIGHLY recommend Be My Guest, Sandy and her entire staff for anyone's future event. You will not be disappointed. I am just sad that it is all over....until next time, Be My Guest!!

Incredible experience with BMG

I had an amazing experience with BMG. They were very responsive when I emailed and they knew my venue well (Annapolis Maritime Museum) so they were able to easily run the show without my having to arrange much. Food was great and didn't cost a fortune. I'd recommend them to anyone.

Catering for a Meeting

Be My Guest provided catering for a three-day meeting I organized with ~70 attendees. From start to finish, I was extremely impressed. There were some unusual circumstances with the organization I work for that made initial planning a challenge. Be My Guest was extremely accommodating and worked with me at every step to get all the details worked out. In general, the customer service was exceptional and everyone I interacted with was very friendly. During the actual meeting, everything went very smoothly - they arrived on time and provided meals and refreshments exactly as we had arranged. The food was excellent and received many compliments from attendees. The baked goods in particular were a hit! Based on my experience, I highly recommend Be My Guest, and will certainly use them again in the future if and when the opportunity arises.

The best cater and staff around.

I was very reluctant to go to a cater, I love to cook and entertain. However my daughter talked me in to using one for our annual Holiday Party ( 200 +- ). I bit the bullet and hired Be My Guest Catering. That was 5 years ago. And I use them for every event I can. The food is suburb and so creative. The staff is excellent, professional and friendly. My guest talk about my events for months after them. Sandy and her staff take all the stress out of entertain and I get to be Hostess without any worries.

A phenomenal caterer and reception planner :)

I can't say enough good things about Sandy and the entire Be My Guest team - they are truly an absolute joy with which to work, friendly, patient, timely, beyond organized and extraordinary knowledgable about everything having to do with throwing a great reception. BMG was integral to helping us plan our reception and really the day overall. They managed and organized all of our rentals, provided fantastic service and were available for every question or helpful feedback. Not only that, but we wanted a more laid back menu for our reception and Sandy was AWESOME about working with us to put together a creative menu that was both casual, but fun and delicious - I cannot recommend hiring BMG enough!!! Also - BMG's staff is absolute stellar and we received numerous compliments about how great all of the bartenders and service staff was at our reception. And of course, I say all of this without mentioning how WONDERFUL the food was!! It was absolutely delicious and BMG made sure we knew because they made my husband and I plates before everyone ate so we got to enjoy the meal as well :) A million thank you's to Sandy, Amy and the entire BMG team and we hope to work with them again in the future!!!

Awesome in All Ways!

Sandy and her staff catered our wedding at our waterfront home. From the very first phone call where Sandy immediately came out to our home to the final cleanup, BMG was flexible, professional, accommodating, helpful and put us at ease every step of the way. The guests raved about the food, the amount served was perfect (some leftovers but not much) and her staff especially took care of us, the bride and groom. They did everything we asked for and Sandy was always available in the weeks and days leading up to the event. The tasting at her business was fabulous!--it was just like going out for a fine dinner, complete with wine! Thank you BMG! Jeff & Babs

Best. Caterers. Ever. +Event/Planning help!

BMG is AMAZING! I cannot praise them enough. From start to finish, their food, planning help, professional, knowledgeable staff was the absolute only way I got through planning a wedding. My husband(!) and I are so happy to have found this amazing team. We kind of want to host another event just to work with them again. Their staff even put up with my tipsy father at our wedding and he can TALK. They were gracious, professional, and honestly, the best part was that day of, I barely noticed them. They kept things running smoothly, they made sure my husband and I got to eat by fixing us plates, and they kept everyone happy, especially me, and since I'm still riding that bride feel- my feelings were pretty important haha. 10/10 LOVE BMG!!! Couldn't have done it without them.

There aren't words to express my gratitude toward this company. Every single person who works here is a gem and I would hire them a thousand times over. Communicating with Sandy the owner was so easy and she always responded quickly to any question I had. The tasting with them was also amazing they honestly put so much care into everything they do and I knew right away they were the ones we wanted. They really do go above and beyond for their brides from helping with linen rentals, helping set up, clean up everything! I wish I could give them more stars because they deserve more than just 5. Amy who is onsite the day of is the kindest person I have ever met was so accommodating and made sure my husband and I were always taken care of! Every single person at our wedding could not speak higher of the whole team and all the food! Our photographer even said they have had a lot of mini crab cakes and these were the best they had ever had! Any bride who wants a company that will make your day perfect should hire Be My Guest!

Not being much of a foodie myself, I was happy to hand over the responsibility of finding a caterer to my fiance, while I tackled other items on the list of to do's. He nailed it!

We went to a few tastings before finding Be My Guest & never left feeling like we were on the same page as the vendor. When we met Sandy, that was not the case at all. From the beginning we looked at rental options, food options, decoration ideas & so much more. She listened & offered suggestions even though we had not hired her company yet. You could tell she was ready to jump all in as soon as we made a choice. Because of that it was a super easy decision! Throughout the planning process we spoke over the phone & email A LOT. When I walked into my reception that day I knew everything was taken care of & I could focus on my husband & the family & friends who were there to celebrate with us.

At the reception, the food was amazing & the service was off the charts. It was a hot day & the wedding was outside, but that did not slow down the BMG team as they set up tables & circulated with appetizers. At one point we ran out of alcohol & someone from BMG ran out to get more immediately. It all happened without a hitch & went so smoothly I had no idea about it until much later. My husband & I got so many compliments on the food, drinks, & timing of everything. To each person I replied that the Be My Guest team was amazing to work with & I would recommend them to all of my friends planning a wedding :)

We chose Be My Guest as our caterer for our wedding and they did not disappoint. They worked with us through the whole process and they always had great professional advice. Not to mention the day of our wedding their team knocked it out of the park. Most importantly the food was amazing, our family and friends couldn’t stop raving over the quality! Sandy and the team were easy and wonderful to work with from the beginning. Day of, the food was great and we received compliments from our wedding guests. Sandy also helped make sure the day ran smoothly which I really appreciated and she also made sure my husband and I ate that day! A small gesture but that’s how much she cares. Sandy and Amy are wonderful to work with. They quickly respond to emails and phone calls. Sandy was a treasure at communicating our requests to the venue. They went above and beyond on the wedding day with set ups, being sure that the bridal party (not just the happy couple) were well taken care of and creatively addressing the issues of a warm afternoon. Special food needs were happily accommodated. The food was wonderful! If I could give them a seven star rating I would do so without hesitation!!

Sandy and her team were amazing from the start to finish! Most importantly the food was yummy! They ensured everything turned out as planned and were able to flow with changes that needed to be made. Sandy was easy to get ahold of and always kept us informed on things we needed to complete prior to receiving them, menu decisions, table chart, etc. I would recommend Be My Guest for anyone wanting a non-traditional family style dinner, that turned out very good!

We got married in December and cannot say enough good things about everyone at Be My Guest and the service that we received. From initial reach out, to the tasting experience, all the way through the reception, Sandy and the team made us feel like family. Not only was the food amazing (our guests continue to make comments), but Sandy helped us to organize rentals for our venue and came to multiple walkthroughs at our venue to help us select the proper lay out for our wedding reception. The Be My Guest team went the extra mile to make sure everything ran smoothly, and our wedding party could not have been happier when we received a plate of all of the appetizers delivered to our room prior to entering the cocktail hour. We would recommend Be My Guest to anyone that is looking for a wedding caterer.

We decided to go with Be My Guest as they were highly recommended by our Venue ...and they did not disappoint. Their food was incredible and their service and staff were even better. They were informative and very helpful in planning for our reception; they certainly take on a larger role than just catering food. We were able to work out a unique and fun menu for our guests: chicken and waffles, carved beef and old bay potatoes, Mac-n-cheese station/bar, and more. We were told by so many newly-weds they were unable to eat during their wedding so we planned to have friends save a us a plate, but Be My Guest made sure to serve us each a plate with everything while guests received their food. Their service throughout the night couldn’t have been better and certainly makes for a stress-free evening. If you are looking for a caterer with amazing food and excellent service and friendly staff you should consider Be My Guest!

My rehearsal dinner was a huge success thanks to Sandy and her staff at BMG. The planning process at the BMG headquarters( easily accessable from I-97 )was very thorough to include suggestions for the menu, decor and event timing. Sandy met me at the venue to discuss table arrangements and offered great decorating ideas. She ordered the rental items for us and arranged delivery. At the event, the caterers arrived on time, set all the tables and buffet displays above and beyond what I had asked for. The buffet was as beautiful as it was delicious. Many guests arrived late due to traffic and the catering team was gracious and flexible about serving dinner later than planned and staying later at the end of the night. They were professional from start to finish. Everything was packed up and leftovers packaged in the fridge. I highly recommend BMG for their very personal touch and attention to detail.

Sandy and her team exceeded our expectations. Their attention to detail, presentation, service and professionalism were exceptional. They took care of everything and there was no need for a wedding coordinator. The food was delicious and we’re still getting compliments on the food. We had a wonderful experience with Sandy and her team! I highly recommend them. The food was amazing and fit our day perfectly. We planned on a very short timeline and Sandy and her team were incredibly helpful. Sandy not only helped us plan the perfect menu but she also helped us find our rental company and DJ. The company is flexible and helps you select the touches that make it feel like you. They also hung our paper lanterns and made sure the decor was in place for a very nominal fee. On the wedding day, they were highly response to everyone, especially the bride and groom and our parents.

Sandy, Amy and everyone at BMG went above and beyond, and I am so ridiculously happy that we used them for our 160 person wedding at the Chesapeake Bay Foundation on 7/22/17. These people are honestly amazing. They were so responsive, so thorough, so patient...they took care of the rentals for us, worked with our budget, didn't balk at any of my requests or questions. They made the entire wedding planning process a million times easier for us. They are also just the kindest people and lots of fun to be around. And on top of that the food was AMAZING. Everyone complemented us on the food and the desserts they provided. I (the bride) ate a whole plate of food despite my tight dress because it really was that good! I 100% recommend them to anyone, this company is everything you want in a special events caterer. Thank you so much BMG!

Sandy and her team at Be My Guest are AMAZING. They recently catered my wedding at the Annapolis Maritime Museum, and everything was wonderful! They were really flexible with our schedules during the planning process (my husband and I live out of state now, so that impacted our schedule), and were very responsive to our emails and calls with questions.
They were so incredible at the reception - they really ran a tight ship! Everything went off without a hitch, and was on time. Our guests were raving about the food and desserts - everything was amazingly good. Although I didn't get to try one, apparently the chocolate/peanut butter cupcakes were incredible.
Overall, we would HIGHLY recommend Be My Guest, we had a great experience working with them.

Sandy and her team were wonderful! They helped us plan a spectacular outdoor wedding Sandy worked with my daughter to stay within her budget. The food was delicious and the staff was outstanding., both when serving and keeping our guests happy. I can't recommend them enough!

My Husband and I hired Be My Guest Catering for our wedding on May 20, 2017. I can't express how wonderful Sandy and her team were! Not only was our original proposal affordable, but it was about half of the cost of the other two caterers we had spoken with. We chose an herb grilled chicken with mango salsa, beef tips in Madeira wine sauce, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, penne alfredo with broccoli and grilled mixed vegetables. I was concerned that the potatoes weren't going to be the right fit for a late spring wedding, but the dish was not heavy at all and complimented both the chicken and the beef. Sandy basically served as a partial day-of coordinator. She would contact us periodically to keep us on track with some of the tasks we needed to complete, like meeting us at the venue to discuss layout multiple times and accompanying us to our rentals appointment. She helped us pick our linens, chairs, and dinnerware all while keeping our budget in mind and being completely honest about what items we did and didn't need. Sandy really listened to what I wanted and brought my vision to life! On our 'big day' Sandy, Lisa, and the BMGC crew set up and broke down all of the tables, chairs, and decor. I modeled one table with the centerpiece and other accessories and they put together the other 9 tables just as I had imagined. At one point Lisa asked how the napkin was to be folded and I said "it gets tucked in the champagne flute", they realized that somehow we had missed the flutes in the rental order, but they called last minute and had them delivered so that everything was set by the time our ceremony had ended. We chose a buffet style dinner, however my husband and I were served our plates and even drinks. The entire staff really "catered" to us all evening to make sure that we had everything we needed. I highly recommend Be My Guest to everyone and would use them again and again! Thank you all!

We had a wonderful experience with Be My Guest Catering and highly recommend them for any event! Sandy is a kind, talented person. She went above and beyond the role of a caterer. She was a huge asset in my venue search. She helped us build a vision for decor and colors. When our date and venue changed, Sandy allowed us to roll our deposit to the new date. The food was absolutely wonderful, and Sandy used creative solutions to help us stay in budget. We chose a buffet style for our event, but Sandy and her team served plated meals to the groom and I to make sure that we actually had an opportunity to eat. My family was able to take all of the left over food home, which was awesome. Sandy and her team did a beautiful job setting up, and a thorough clean-up at the end. We received our full security deposit back from the venue. Thank you Sandy and the Be My Guest team!

Absolutely go for it! Sandy and her team were so helpful throughout the entire catering process, and Sandy herself was so helpful during the wedding planning/coordinating process itself. She worked within our budget and used her experience to help us in any way we needed it. She made us feel so secure and comfortable with the wedding process and the big day! She was a breathe of fresh air in what is typically a stressful planning process. We are completely enamored with the quality of service we received! The food was amazing! The staff was amazing! The cost was more than reasonable, and their professionalism exceptional. Working with Be My Guest Catering felt like working with family, as it was a very comfortable, exciting experience! Not enough can be said for how working with the right caterer can make all the difference for any event. Be My Guest is the right caterer.

Sandy and the team at By My Guest Catering are wonderful to work with! When I originally called with questions, Sandy invited me in to meet her in person at their office. Honestly, she won me over that day as most caterers I called either answered my questions on the phone or through e-mail. She tailored a menu to meet our needs (several vegetarian guests as well as non-vegetarian guests) and was willing to make changes if we weren't happy. Be My Guest provided great service the day of our reception. We were planning to have our cocktail hour outside but due to the heat, the catering team decided to set it up inside and it was just as wonderful as if it would have been if it was outside. They were attentive during the day to all the guests and always made sure my husband and I had drinks and made sure that we ate. With the help of the staff of Be My Guest the entire day (ceremony included) went smoothly and several of the guest commented on how good the food and service both were. I would highly recommend Be My Guest Catering.

Hi Sandy, Amy and all Be My Guest Staff,

Thank you so much for making our wedding such a perfect day. Even with the rain, I felt like everything went so perfectly and we all had such a good time. We have gotten some ceremony photos back and they are so gorgeous, I will send you some when we get the professional ones back. Maybe it will encourage future brides not to stress too much about the weather :-)

All of my guests raved about the food and my aunt even said she is a new a lover of "real Maryland crab cakes" and many others were amazed by how well the steak was cooked. I had a drink in my hand the whole night and felt very well taken care of because of the excellent service.

Sandy, thank you for being so great about working with me this past year, I can be a bit neurotic and you were always responsive and able to put me at ease. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect day.

Be My Guest was such a godsend for us - they were truly exception. Sandy was more than just a caterer - she coordinated the linens and other rentals, she gave valuable and very important advice at all the steps along the way to the big day. The food was delicious and abundent, she worked with us to get a menu that was just right for our event. Be My Guest did the set up and breakdown for the banquet room and they helped to transform it from just a room to a perfect venue - the bride literally cried when she saw how beautiful it was. Her staff was profession, helpful and friendly. So much so that I had them come and help out at two other events during the wedding weekend. I honestly can not say enough good things about them and I know that I will not hesitate to use them in the future. (Mother of the groom)

We LOVED having Be My Guest catering at our wedding! The food was perfectly cooked, fresh, and delicious. Our guests could not stop raving about the food! Our "pie bar" was a HIT. Working with Sandy and her staff was an absolute pleasure. Sandy responds to all questions very quickly and is super friendly and organized. Loved working with her!! We highly (highly) recommend!!!!

Talk to Sandy and clearly communicate what you're looking for... We found her catering services and recommendations to be excellent.... The meal was fabulous... The display was awesome. The other vendors she recommended to us were great. We'd use Be My Guest again without question.
