The absolute best experience! George and his team were amazing from start to finish! Every single person we interacted with, truly were amazing. From communication to attention to details to just showing true commitment in making one of the most important days of our lives perfect and stress free, they showed it all! We never doubted their commitment to us just as we committed to them as a venue. They never made us feel like they were just out for our money. They were extremely flexible and worked with us to make our perfect day affordable. On top of a great team to work with, you couldn't ask for a better location. We have received many comments from our guests on how amazing the location was and the views they had. Our out of town guests especially liked that they have two hotels right there for guests to stay at without having to drive anywhere. Further comments have included how amazing the food was and service on how quickly they got all of our guests meals out to them in such a well organized fashion. Not only were we impressed as the bride and groom, but so were our guests. If you are looking for a wedding venue, look no further! You will not regret picking Bayshore or Alexandria's as your wedding venue! Thank you George and the rest of the team for making our day perfect!

From the initial email, George and his team have been a dream to work with! They all care about making your special day as perfect as can be. This shows in they way they pay attention to the smallest of details and how they truly listen to the vision that you have for your wedding. Our wedding day was perfect from start to finish! The getting ready space was terrific, the guests were well taken care of, the food was spectacular, and the dancing was electric! Once you tour Bayshore, there's no reason to look anywhere else.

Bayshore is by far the most beautiful venue I've ever been to, and I've been to a lot of weddings. The attention to detail for each event is nothing short of amazing and it places this venue head and shoulders above the rest.

It was a night I’ll never forget, I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way all thanks to the Bayshore staff and of course George. We never had to worry about a thing everything was very organized from the start, food was excellent, view was magical, got so many compliments from my guests that that was the best wedding they’ve ever been to! There are things that you appreciate when you are a photographer that are not easily explained. The location and how the sun is positioned in the sky at Bayshore Grove provide beautiful pictures any time of the day. The staff are amazing and I love the bridal suite where the girls get ready. Highly recommend!

Amazing venue! Cannot beat the view of the lake, but what was really impressive was Linda and the staff at Bayshore. They made sure everything went smoothly and kept us on our time schedule. Our food was delicious and everyone looked professional. We loved working with Linda and would recommend this venue to everyone. We had our dream wedding because of this venue, Linda and her team.

Lisa was absolutely amazing in accommodating our schedule. From the start of the meeting to the second time we came out, it was nothing but professional and very helpful advice. She is outstanding and I can’t wait to have our wedding there!

Absolutely the best place to get married! The staff is incredible and so accommodating! I could not have asked for a more perfect day. Their grounds are amazing and makes for gorgeous pictures, the bridal suite is like a little mini apartment, it has everything you’d need right in one place.

My husband and I both are from upstate NY and now live in Charlotte, NC. We wanted to have our wedding back home to make it easy for our family and old friends to attend. We are beyond thrilled we chose the Bayshore for our venue! Our wedding day was nothing short of amazing - the food, bar, accommodations, service and especially THAT VIEW!! I still can't stop looking at the pictures :o)
Shari and the Bayshore staff were extremely accommodating to everyone's needs, special requests etc. ensuring our day was absolutely PERFECT! Furthermore...all during the planning process leading up to the big day, Shari was available and responsive - making planning an out of state wedding as stress free as it could be, I can't thank her enough for that!!!

I cannot even begin to express everything that George, Brooke, and their team were willing to do for us on our special day! Things that you don't even think of: such as blocking guests who arrived late from disrupting your ceremony, to making sure your bridal party gets some of the cocktail hour food, and willing to work with the unpredictable weather conditions of New York! Our day was so completely perfect because of Bayshore. I truly believe from the bottom of my heart that a more beautiful venue does not exist in CNY. Most of our guests had not even heard of Bayshore but boy were they impressed when they saw it! The sweeping views of Lake Ontario, the breathtaking sunsets, and the amazing wrap around deck that our guests could enjoy a cocktail out on while watching us take pictures was worth every penny! The food was great - I ate more bang bang shrimp than I would like to admit. If you want to wow your guests, get incredible photographs, and have everything on the same property...look no further! The shuttle offered by Bayshore will ensure your guests get back to their hotel safely at the end of a wonderful, fun filled night! Thank you Bayshore!

I used Bayshore Grove as my venue for my wedding on 9/5/15! This is absolutely one of the most beautiful venues in all of New York State. They are located right on Lake Ontario and have one of the best sunsets around! Shari was our wedding planner and she was very knowledgeable and always available for questions! The venue features both sit down and buffet options as well as open bar packages. We did a sit down dinner with 3 choices. They offer a free tasting where you get to try about 6 different menu items to ensure you pick your favorites! This venue really does not need too much decorating as the venue itself and the landscaping is unbelievable. You can get married right under a pergola by the lake. They also have a great "plan B" for those unexpected rainy days. I loved everything about Bayshore and would recommend it to anyone !

Shari was easy to work with and Bayshore is an amazing setting if you want to have a wedding on the water.

Simply beautiful. If you've never seen Bayshore, it is worth the drive out there. The sunsets are stunning. The grounds were impeccable, the food was amazing. George Broadwell couldn't do enough to ensure our happiness. He was wonderful -- as was his staff.

We would 100% recommend Bayshore Grove to any couple looking for a beautiful lakeside wedding venue! We had the best wedding day, and we were lucky enough to have the most beautiful weather and sunset to top it all off.

Our Wedding Day:
The staff was incredible, and George truly helped bring our vision to life. We asked to move the ceremony from the Pergola to the lawn so our guests could look straight out onto the lake while we got married. We also had our first dance on the rocks overlooking the lake, rather than inside, along with our wedding party introductions.

Those personal touches and changes made our day feel so special and unique to us. We were really impressed with how smoothly everything flowed throughout the wedding. It was absolutely perfect. George did such a wonderful job, and we know we will be talking about this day for years to come!

The Venue:
Bayshore Grove is a gorgeous venue right on the lake and comfortably accommodated our 110 guests, with plenty of room for even more. Our guests loved the beautiful scenery and especially enjoyed having cocktail hour right on the lake. The setting really made the entire day feel magical.

The Bridal Suite:

The bridal suite was another huge plus! George lets you access it as early as you need, which was incredibly helpful. It comfortably fit me, my four bridesmaids, two moms, and the hair and makeup team without feeling crowded.

The suite was very clean, and we especially appreciated that we weren't charged additional hours for using it, like some other venues do. Even better, the staff cleaned up the bridal suite for us, and it was immaculate the next morning. That was amazing because we were able to simply grab our remaining belongings and go without having to worry about cleaning up.

Hotel & Transportation:

Bayshore Grove is also incredibly convenient when it comes to accommodations and transportation. George owns the nearby hotels and works with a shuttle service to transport guests to and from the venue. We had three shuttles, and everything worked out perfectly!

The hotels are only about 10 minutes from the venue, which made everything so convenient for us and our guests. Having the venue, hotels, and transportation all work together made the entire experience that much easier.

Overall, we truly couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue. From the gorgeous lakeside setting to the amazing staff and the flexibility to make the day exactly what we envisioned, Bayshore Grove made our wedding day incredibly special. We are so grateful for everything George and his team did for us and would absolutely recommend Bayshore Grove to any couple planning their wedding!

My wedding is in a little less than 6 months, I have been working with George for about a year and a half now. He has been extremely flexible and pleasant. I pretty much had my entire wedding planned and booked with him, and then for personal reasons had to postpone the wedding another year, he worked with me on everything and was very accommodating to the needs of myself, my fiancé, and my family. He allows you to customize your wedding pretty much so that everyone is satisfied. He acts as your own personal wedding planner, and it's awesome! I have been to several weddings at this venue and it is breathtaking, and the food is outstanding. I'm looking forward to my big day and to continue working with Bayshore! :)

AMAZING VENUE! I am so happy I chose Bayshore I was looking for an affordable venue on the water and this fit right into the budget while offering a gorgeous ceremony site, sunset view, and an amazing staff. We worked primarily with George and he was so willing to help us with anything we needed. I never felt like I was a bother because he always made us feel important and that he wanted to make the day perfect for us. We had the ceremony on site (outdoors) and then a cocktail hour and reception. I loved having everything in one place. The venue is very private and is right on the water with an amazing view all day and especially at night during the sunset. (They do offer a plan b ceremony site in case of rain as well). They have a group food tasting and when I ended up sick they let my family bring back food to sample, but also let me attend another one they put on closer to the wedding. The day of the wedding everything went so smoothly. They had a bridal suite for my girls and I with snacks and drinks and George was around throughout the day checking to see if I needed anything and making sure everything was going well. I am so happy with my decision to choose bayshore and received so many compliments from guests about the venue. You can't go wrong choosing them.

Bayshore Grove was a beautiful venue for our wedding, the grounds were wonderfully landscaped and the views and sunset are tough to beat. They were very flexible and accommodating in allowing us to decorate and make the day exactly what we wanted. The communication leading up to the wedding was OK, it sometimes took a few days or up to a week to hear back via email. The week of the wedding, they were much more communicative. The food and service were fantastic although they were definitely on the more expensive side. They have partnerships with the two hotels in town which was convenient, especially as we were planning our wedding from across the country. Overall, we had no complaints and would recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful outdoor venue for their wedding.

George was amazing to work with from the get go. Very personable and genuine, and very timely in his responses. The venue itself was perfect! The beautiful scenery outside made it such a perfect evening. We did not use the outdoor ceremony option but they do provide alternative measure in case of rain which was nice. The only thing I did not prefer was the color of the rug on the inside of the venue, it could be updated but didn’t take away from the day. Overall, an amazing experience and highly recommended. My only complaint was the sunset was so beautiful on the water so many of our guests were outside enjoying it and not inside dancing and partying until the sun went down haha!

Bayshore was absolutely beautiful and the guys were great to work with. My one complaint was how many times I had to call iitially before I finally received a phone call back. Communication was better once I actually booked with them. The food was good and the alcohol selection was great.

This is the best location for a wedding I have ever been too - the scene was beautiful and everything was amazing. The service was fantastic - the bridal party was outside on the lawn getting some photos prior to the reception during cocktail hour and waiters and waitresses tailed us constantly bringing us food and drink - whatever we could want. Everything was prompt and they even handled a last minute request with flying colors. The only negative I have is that while planning it is very difficult to get a hold of anyone. Email doesn't work, calls aren't often returned - finally toward the end I discovered they responded very promptly to text message. I wish I would have known that initially it would have made it a lot easier!! Otherwise I loved everything about them and would recommend them to anyone.

Look the venue is absolutely beautiful and our experience there overall was good. They have a lot of things included: free bridal suite, free rooms for the bride and groom separately the night before at their partnered hotels, free honeymoon suite (no decorations though, my husband decorated the room beforehand himself), and the food was delicious if you choose the catering. We chose their chicken cordon bleu and their broccoli alfredo and macaroni and cheese which were hits to our family members who can be picky. They also include a pizza after party which is free pizza and a cash bar (it’s not a private room though). Unfortunately it felt like we were pulling teeth to get any sort of communication. We really appreciated Heidi as she helped facilitate communication. The night before our wedding we checked out the wedding venue and I gave a seating chart and thought I communicated how we wanted tables and chairs set up and it was really messed up when we got there so my husband and I were at the venue fixing the seating chart and the tables and number of chairs until 12:30 am by ourselves the night before our wedding. There was even a time during our wedding we had no idea what was going on we apparently had to cut the cake suddenly as it was melting but we hadn’t heard from anyone at Bayshore Grove. Our DJ clued us in (shoutout to Material Sound, they really made our wedding amazing and filled in the gaps of those communication issues also we booked Dwane on wedding pros and got a 4 hr deal for $900 as it was on sale) we also loved our photographer who took gorgeous photos at Bayshore Grove which was AlterImage in Syracuse, thanks again Rick Needle. Anyway communication needs to be improved but the wedding venue itself was still worth it for us.
